1. How does your character think of their father? What do they hate and love about him? What influence - literal or imagined - did the father have?Drider: She didn’t know her father at all. Seeing how her mother handles her siblings fathers, he was most likely some poor adventurer who is very much dead now.Tiefling: She hates him. She blames him for exposing her to such dark forces and separating her from anyone else who could make emotional connections to her.OrcDad: Him and his dad are really rocky. His dad has always had huge anger issues, being an orc and all, and that hasn’t changed until more recently. 4. What type of discipline was your character subjected to at home? Strict? Lenient?Drider: Very strict. Her mother ruled the family with an iron fist.Tiefling: Her father was very strict, but when he was out of her life she had a lot of freedom (as long as she didn’t do things her father taught her)OrcDad: Very lenient. His father would often forget about him and his mother let him run off and have fun.8. How does your character feel about religion?Drider: Faith and belief in something you can’t see is idiotic to her, but she’s literally trying to prove herself to a god as well sooooTiefling: It’s her life, it’s what she constantly lives. She has entire books memorized and hymns she hums whenever.OrcDad: He has no care for religion and doesn’t care what ghosts in clouds have to say.10. Is your character street-smart, book-smart, intelligent, intellectual, slow-witted?Drider: More street smart and intelligent, strategic really. She grew up hunting and trapping things in the underdark, which takes a lot of wit.Tiefling: She’s very booksmart, she understands how things should operate more than how to speak to another being.OrcDad: He’s street smart! He knows the alleyways, when’s the best time to hit a place, who has good info.28. Who is your character’s mate? How do they relate to him or her? How did they make their choice?Drider: She doesn’t have one and I’d recommend waiting a few years until she unlearns the black widow way of mating.Tiefling: Seeing how she only recently is spending more than an hour with another being, she’s not focused on having a mate rn. If she was to take on a partner, it would be fate and not her direct choice.OrcDad: Him’s wife!!! Dahlia! She’s fierce and loud spoken like himself, but she doesn’t shy away from being wrong or embarrassed. She actually hit on him and she kept coming back to see him; it was that determination that won him over.32. How does your character react to stress situations? Defensively? Aggressively? Evasively? (I’m answering this as if it’s outside of combat)Drider: She’s very evasive. She won’t address it and look to quietly settle it or resort to just violence.Tiefling: Very aggressive. She won’t back down or stall and if it’s something emotional or social, she will have no idea it’s a stressful situation.OrcDad: Defensive really. If it’s not something he can settle with action he withdraws and is utterly overwhelmed.36. Do they like to suffer? Like to see other people suffering?Drider: She’s very neutral when it comes to pain, having been subjected to it and watched others as well. She doesn’t like it, but if someone was screaming in pain somewhere it would take her a moment to remember that’s bad.Tiefling: Hell no to both! She got to spend her formative years learning hurting others is bad, so she understands it very well.OrcDad: He does not like either, but he will endure suffering for the sake of others. He will enjoy karma induced suffering, but not for the sake of suffering.
