okay so! in these neglected!reader fics Dick is almost always the one who’s like trying to reach out the most. because of this, personally(!) i feel like he’s the kinda guy who just wants his family to be whole so he kinda takes up the position of like father+brother combined (eldest child syndrome lowkey). he kinda becomes the most present figure in the twins’ lives and i think it goes double for reader tbh.

like breakfast lunch dinner Dick is right there with her and yaps her ear off. i think that where Bruce is the kinda dad that wants you to finish what you start, Dick is the kinda brother that’s like “if you don’t wanna do it, then don’t” ykwim? wanna do ballet? he’s at every recital. hate it? well, it wasn’t for you anyways! any practice, game, show, concert, he’s there. and if you decide you absolutely hate whatever it is, he’s there for you too!

just like general supportive older brother, but turned up juuuust a smidge. i feel like in the yandere aspect, he’s not really the type to go try and murder someone. sure he might hurt someone, but he’d at least want to avoid murder. it’s more like he’s gonna try and keep her home/with him as much as possible. like where are you going? it’s family game night! when did we start family game nights? don’t worry about it! now come on, it’s monopoly.

jason, on the other, WOULD probably kill someone. buuuuut i think it’s more so if she get physically hurt by someone would he be pushed to murder. emotionally? he’ll probably just beat them up and threaten them. but if they put their hands on her? mmm yeah you’re dead. sorry!

i feel like jason, who’s literally died and come back to life consumed by rage, would see reader as the opposite of himself. as good, where he is bad. and i think that on one hand he wants to push her away, to not taint her with the darkness that consumes him. but on the other hand, he’s had so much taken from him, seen death at every corner, even met the man face-to-face. can’t he be selfish just this once?

so, in the early hours of the morning, before the sun comes up and his duty as Red Hood is done for the night, he seeks her out. he comes back to the manor, climbing through her bedroom window. she’s still asleep and he just stands there, listening, watching, reminding himself that she is alive and so is he. he doesn’t touch her, he can’t— can’t poison her good with his bad. so, he settles for observing. maybe one day he can work up the courage to speak with her, seek her comfort. but for now, he’s content with simply existing around her.

tim is also an observer in like a borderline stalker kinda way. makes everybody download life360 but he watches her location like a hawkkkk. also gifts her a phone that’s totally safe i swear! don’t mind that any texts from an ex or someone that you have bad blood disappear right after you get them. they probably just unsent them!

he’s like Dick in that he tries to convince her to stay home often. but his way of doing it is… different. you wanna go for a walk on this street? actually there’s footage of a robbery that took place near there recently, probably not safe. wanna go to a friend’s house? um, according to their school records, they got detention in 5th grade. that’s a bad influence, girl! don’t worry, we can play mario kart or something instead!

with duke i feel like, compared to the others, he’s the closest you’ll get to a regular brother. he’s the closest in age to the twins and he joined the batfam after damian in canon. he’s also very kind and soft(?) so it’s unlikely he’s gonna go full stalker and/or killer over his sister. don’t get me wrong, he could kick ass if needed. but when it comes to reader, he’s mostly just trying to bond with her. watching movies in his room, sneaking out to get ice cream together, even at the ‘Wayne Galas’ he’ll stick by her side.

duke is veryyy caring and passionate, plus i feel like he’s sympathetic as well. so when you need comforting, he’s probably the best to go to. cause he won’t be the kind to go find whoever made you upset and ‘talk to’ them. instead, he’s gonna comfort his sis! unless it was someone who physically hurt her, then he’ll probably pay them a visit. but he’s not gonna kill them, i just can’t see him doing that.

next up the batgirls 😛 just as a note this is all my interpretation of the characters. if you think it’s ooc, no you didn’t ❤️

also does anyone have a preference of using third person (she, her) or second (you, your)? i might switch to ‘you’ when i write the batgirls so its not confusing, but if anyone has a preference, let me know!

—BECAUSE KUNG FU PANDA 4 KILLED MY GRANDMA, OKAY?

To preface, I watched this movie and I'm genuinely tweaking right now so I had to write down a very brief (lie) criticism on this film — which you should boycott, by the way.

Starting with the things I liked, before briefing my primary points of criticism:

Po's Character Regression

Po and Zhen's Dynamic

The Chameleon

I'd also yap about Lord Shen and the death of the art style and the entire narrative and pacing and use of the staff of wisdom but my therapist says being such a hater is 'unhealthy' or something. My heart is full of hatred.

SPOILERS for the entirety KFP4 for the 2 people who care.

KFP4 undermines and ignores the previous three movies — Unwriting character developments, outright removing the Furious Five, straying from the character design philosophies and is completely inconsistent with the established lore.

Things I Liked About Kung Fu Panda 4

The Chameleon's character design

Visual gag in the Tavern where Po uses a recently thrown axe as a hat rack (made me laugh)

When Mr. Ping did this:

Po — Character Writing

Po, as established in the previous movies, is confident in his abilities and identity — he’s learnt inner peace, he’s matured as a character. However, in KFP4, his character has completely regressed. He’s immature again (such as KFP1, possibly worse) and says verbatim, “only knows kicking butt and taking names” — UNLEARNING inner peace and insisting that “…being the Dragon Warrior is all I know.”

It’s childish, and sort of Hotel Transylvania-esque.

Which isn’t helped by the comedy, the dialogue — a large chunk of which are jokes in the style of:

Master Shifu says something philosophical

Po quips off of it / doesn’t get it (i.e. Whoa!! beat I don’t know what that means.)

Oh, it’s great, yeah, very tolerable. Po’s shenanigans are normally reeled in by the presence of the Furious Five who are generally more serious in nature, creating a much needed balance in the dynamic — So without them, it’s just Po becoming increasingly obnoxious and insufferable with every consecutive quip throughout the screenplay.

Po and Zhen — Character Dynamics

As if it wasn’t obvious that Zhen was going to be the next Dragon Warrior the second she was introduced.

Zhen, as a character, has no depth besides being a quippy thief. She quips, she steals. This character has no motives — it can be assumed that the writers intended on a ‘change of heart’ thing, but she isn’t established as evil, her working for the Chameleon is written as a (albeit poor) twist reveal.

By which point, her taking either side wouldn’t make sense, given that she has shown no loyalty or attachment to either Po nor the Chameleon.

The movie artificially strengthens their bond by having Zhen start opening up about her backstory out of nowhere for no reason but they have done nothing to grow closer to each other.

Small tangent, her backstory is exactly what you’d expect it to be with no subversions or even emotional weight. Woe is me I was so small and hungry I had to steal to survive. Glossed over in about a minute.

The majority of the dialogue between Zhen and Po is spoken exposition — explaining how powerful and badass the Chameleon is, explaining how ‘we have to go here to do that’ and ‘this place was cool until the Chameleon did such and such’, and the rest of their time together is spent engaging in filler chase sequences and fight scenes.

Where do I even start…

This is where it becomes apparent that the movie relies heavily on telling rather than showing —

She is the weakest villain by far, not only in universe but as a written character; which is particularly disheartening because I genuinely adore her character design and feel as though a shapeshifting character has great potential.

The movie artificially inflates her power by insisting through exposition that this is the most capable antagonist thus far (lie).

The audience is TOLD by Zhen and various restaurant patrons that the Chameleon is a powerful shapeshifting sorceress and that she 'dominates the city' whilst the film does nothing to showcase this.

'Dominating the city' meaning letting her henchpeople run amock and bully the civilians just like Lord Shen's wolves in KFP2... uninspired.

I just realised they didn't even give her a NAME what the FUCK is going on

She describes HERSELF as ruthless, clever and unsentimental when comparing Zhen to herself.

She says HERSELF that she’s “Stronger than every opponent you’ve ever faced.”

Let’s see what vile reprehensible things she’s done, shall we?

Gently push someone down some stairs

Her first appearance is through Zhen’s exposition, as opposed to the dramatic and memorable entrances of the previous villains. Her motives or character aren’t established until the final third of the film. She doesn’t even FIGHT anybody until the final third of the film; and even then, her fight sequences are uninspired and she never really poses a real threat. (She goes down in two hits.)

That being said, WE CAN STILL SAVE HER GUYS WE CAN STILL GET HER OUTTA THERE I'M COMING FOR YOU CHAMELEON I'M GONNA DRAFT YOU A PROPER BACKSTORY AND MOTIVE AND YOU'RE GONNA BE THE MOST THREATENING VILLAIN THUS FAR

There's a scene after the climax of the film where all the kung fu masters and previous villains from the spirit realm bow to Po. I'm not going to provide my thoughts on this because I fear I may burst a blood vessel. Good day!

Closing Statements

To put it simply, Kung Fu Panda 4 was my Megamind 2.

The film rejects its predecessors in every way. It really feels as though they brought in somebody with no prior knowledge of the franchise to direct the movie.

It's a film that relies heavily on telling rather than showing — banking on the previous three movies to carry it through the box office.

It's just really disheartening to see studio execs turn one of the best franchises into a safe sequel cash grab and regress every character's development.

Nevertheless. I do adore the chameleon's character design so I might do my own take on her character.

As far as I'm concerned, there is no fairy godmother, there is no tooth fairy, and there is no kung fu panda 4.

~About My Main Oc's(The Main 4)~

Nicki Ohnosaki (DS): Is the Shadow Hashira(Ranked as 4th strongest)who took former Flower Hashira, Natsuki Ohnosaki's rank in the core (Etc:Joined the Core at: 16 Former Age:21). She was raised in a house of 2 younger siblings and 1 older sibling, each one with their fair share of abuse by their father, Natsuki being the oldest was the only sibling who could stand up for all her siblings (Natsuki was 9, Nikki was 7, Inosaki was 4, and Kai was 2). On the night of August 18th their family was slaughtered with the only survivers being, their father, name is Timoko Ohnosaki (who got turned into a demon by the lower moon who slaughtered their family), Natsuki Ohnosaki(The oldest sibling of 3, after the slaughter became a slayer at 15 and at 18 because a Hashira to revenge the death of Kai Ohnosaki and her mother Momisuke Ohnosaki), Nikki Ohnosaki (The 2nd oldest of 3 after the slaughter she was taken under Natsuki care becoming a slayer and Natsukis Tsugoku at the age of 16, After Natsuki's death she takes her place ranking one rank higher {at 4th} Getting the title 'Hashira' for her speed, senses, and fighting tactics), and last Inosaki Ohnosaki (The 2nd youngest of 3, after the slaughter he was taken care of by Taro{Natsuki's Bf, Light Hashira}and Nikki after training sessions with Natsuki, after Natsukis/Taros murder, Inosaki makes the decision of becoming a medic to help slayers and the injured in general while Nikki was out on missions doing her role as a hashira. Present he works in the Butterfly Mansion with Ms. Aoi, Shinobu, and the Caterpillar sisters)

(Natsuki's Death & Nikki's Revenge With a Fatal Price.

-Natsuki's mission was against a lower moon, lower moon 2 {her own abusive father} the master had sent her with light hashira, Taro Rimko both were sent on the night of March 23rd and never were seen after that day. The mission was normal until they had found the twisted game of the demon, bodies hung by trees some didn't even have most of their limbs, Both Hashiras were left in pure disgust Taro learned to pray from his father and Gyomei and decided to do so as Natsuki yelled out for the demon to reveal themselves. The demon listened to the command as Natsuki's eyes widened, Taros blind eyes focused on the demon from hearing... It was Timoko Ohnosaki but a uglier and more blood thirsty father, it didn't take long for the rage and flame to strike, the battle lasted until the brink of dawn, Timoko had to finished the two quick.. {TRIGGER WARNING⚠⚠}

Taro was the first to be demolished, his eyes were targeted first one being poked out and held in the hand of lower moon 2 and lastly when Taro was distracted with his bleeding eye, he was K. Oed with his head being ripped ripped off right in front of Natsuki making her boil with rage since he'd token another loved one, her blood boiled as she decided to attack out of anger, that didn't end well.. {TRIGGER WARNING⚠}

The lower moon gripped her head ripping it back before stabbing his fingers into her throat, slashing it aggressively. The sun finally rose, Timoko had fled, leaving Natsuki's body next to her lovers as they both rotted in their own piles of blood.

-Story 2: it was the final battle, Nikki was faced with the death of Tokito Muichiro and Kocho Shinobu, her eyes filled with sarrow as she placed flower clips onto their covered corpeses after she had shredded her demon father mouthing the words 'You'll never be granted with a second chance, not by the devil himself' the battle between her and her father was harsh, loosing vision in her left eye from a bloody slash along with multiple bruises and cuts, but it was finally over she had better demons to take care off, to revenge the lives that had been lost to such merciless creatures. The war was finally over.. Down on her knees with a missing hand, and blind in her left, she'd had survived with a fatal price of her limbs.. She had survived to see the light of day... She had survived to see her brother.

Peace finally came over the remaining survivors of the corps, and peace to all the lives who fight and died in battle. The wind blew as silence was between the two Ohnosaki siblings as they sat in front of Natsuki's, Kai's, and Momisuke's graves as they gave gifts such as food, flowers and last but not least their tears. 'Stay hello to the others for me'

Miyake Suzui (OP):Worlds most known/Wanted engineer, getting the titles for bombing Marines (basically committing genocide 😭) and helping pirates then backstabbing them by stealing their valuables, getting her first bounty at 10 at the high price of 150,000. Years go by ever since her sister had left her, and her other sister had died she found herself in a floating restaurant called 'Baratie' dressing herself up as a guy to avoid Sanji's simping but it all changed when a group of pirates rulled by Dawn Kreig had started a ruckes with another group of pirates a very small but strong group called the 'Strawhats' she finally revealed her identity fight by the side of Luffy until Kreig was defeated, after this Luffy had offered to be on sea but like Sanji she declined acting as cold as she did when she served them beside Sanji. After s bit of convincing she joined their crew as the loyal engineer besides the simping cook Sanji. Her next bounty raise wasn't until after the 2 year span, raising from 150,000 to 240,000,000. (this was made lazily bc I made this at fucking 12am)

(Family Lore & Years spent engineering)

-Gardening was fun as a family time, each caring for a certain part of the garden, Mother and Father focused on the grass, trees, and bushes, Moko and Michii worked on picking and growing fruits, and lastly Miyake would plant flowers. It was all friendly until a ambush by Marines sent by one of the admirals they wrecked the garden the wrecked parts of the house, their parents forced them three to hide and Moko shoved her and her sisters into a bunker, Michii was angered and Miyake? She cried and cried for her parents (I'd like to add their parents we're wanted pirates!her father with a bounty of 23,000,000 and their mother with the bounty of 15,000,000)but Michii covered her mouth as shots were shot, bodies had fallen. After the ambush the three had gotten out of the bunker, seeing blood stains but no bodies. Days pass Moko and Michii had moved on trying to fix their garden and the destroyed parts of the house. 2-3 months pass and the Suzuis met the same fate of a ambush after the Marines found out about the children, Moko had to step up risking her life.. (The trauma man😭) the other two cried as they hid themselves in the bunker without someone older to protect them anymore, soon enough the same sound of a gun firing arose.. {TRIGGER WARNING⚠⚠}

Moko was shot in the heart ending her young life quickly, the Marines yelled for the other children to come out or they'd destroy the house but they didn't leave both were scared both were horrified, the marine army marched in wrecking and throwing objects as dusk neared they finally left. Immediately at dawn the two sisters made graves for the family they lost placing flowers and their own personal items, Michii placing fruits on her parents graves {oranges and strawberries since it was their favorites) and a hairbrush on Moko grave on the other hand Miyake placed her plush of a cat on her mother's grave, a carton of strawberry milk on her fathers grave, and her kimono on Mokos grave.

-Story 2: years pass since the death of their family, Miyake started to study astrology {Moko loved astrology and the sea} as Michii barely came home to see her own sister. One day Michii called Miyake to tell her news, she was leaving on a 'trip for food' but that made Miyake even more devastated than she already was and before her sister left she mutter out the words 'PROMISE YOU'LL COME BACK FOR ME!!'. After the day her sister left she started to learn how to be an engineer, building new things she never thought she could succeed everytime she knew he family would be proud but at the same time she missed Michii. 2 years pass Michii never came back {She betrayed her own family by joining the Marines, the ones who killed her family, but once the two meet when Miyake is 23 she makes up a reason that she only did it to steal and destroy all their plans} after her 10th birthday Miyake was more mature finally fed up with being alone people were shocked she was still alive she was only a love because of her circus loving friend Paco who'd bring her food and drinks while she worked, one person was so shocked they called marine forces to arrest her. The Marines had got there but no trace of her was seen until... All the ships had blown up, the screams of the Marines who stayed behind filled the people's ears, as she left one of the ships with supplies and weaponry that's how she got her first bounty of 150,000.

Kuro Tsuko(DDD): She is a 16 year old girl who transferred to the same school as the alien geeks, not believing that aliens and ghosts exist until she encountered Acrobatic Silky (episode 5 or 6). She didn't know she was possessed by a ghost herself, the ghost of her samurai father (her father was a samurai who slayed Yokais until the day he died from a demon using his own blade to stab him) Out of the group she has the best strategies, best battle plans, and attack tactics. She is the only one who has no siblings and a living mother so she has no lore. Her personality is sassy, funny, and loyal.

Bingo(OM! OM NB!): The knight who guards the Lord's castle, who loves rocks and Simeon- ignore that. Like the brother she too is a fallen angel due to her lovers lie {will explain in 'Cupid's Lore'} Her personality is like a literal bitch, cussing everyone out, even going as far to throw rocks she collected or bite demons for their disrespect towards Diavolo {She hears all} and really caring and loyal.

-Bingo was the most popular cupid, always on track with building relationships and making them last with her never missing arrows, her herself was beloved by all for her beauty and soft heart {Personality is completely different from her personality in hell}. One day she was confronted by a Royal Knight of the celestial realm, he confessed his love and she accepted it. Everything was sweet from the start but truly this man was hell itself, as years passed he turned more controlling and grew distant but it wasn't enough to break her heart yet...Her lover came back from his duties seemingly annoyed and then yelling at her accusing her of cheating!? She denied it {obviously she didn't, like she's cupid just like she sore loyalty to her job she sore loyalty to her relationship} but that wasn't enough to make him believe, she truly was on the brink of being a weeping angel.

-Story 2: After the rumors had spread of her cheating it finally reached the god. When she was brought to his mercy to explain her sin she denied and finally broke before she was banished she let out her anger on the god and her lying lover.. She was finally banished and fell from the light clouds swearing she'd never forget the betrayal she felt during those final weeks and the friendship she made during all the years.

please yap about dip and pip's relationship with pj, I want to know more

FUCKING YESS!!! WHOO HOO!! I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS DAY!!!

Okay so I haven’t brushed up on my PJ lore in a while, so correct me if any of this is wrong, but I’m sticking with the basics.

What gets me about their friendship is that they’ve been through it all together. Once again, correct me if I’m wrong, but him and Phil were friends before Dan started making videos, correct? It could’ve been after. Point is, he was there pre youtube era, bat shit insane era, and out era. And there’s proof they’ve stayed close through it all. I cannot imagine the pressure of maintaining a normal friendship under the circumstances they were under. I will fully admit myself I am one curious mf first thing I would ask is if they were together. And to have a bunch of 13 year olds yelling at you to do so, I can’t imagine just seeing all of that and then casually heading out to see a movie or get dinner.

I have a head cannon which I feel like I have enough reason to treat it like cannon and that’s that dnp only were close to YouTubers who didn’t care about their sexuality/relationship. You had to be there, but the 2014 british youtuber boom, dnp were making collabs with people who just were so different and it showed. And I don’t think people will understand if they weren’t there how big of a thing “phan” was. They were described usually something along the lines of “those friends with the matching hair that fans think are together.” So when you mix personalities that, to no one’s fault, just don’t blend, mix it with the pressure of five million thirteen year olds, and mix it with people who one has a lot wrong with them, that’s a really bad mixture to set up a friendship. I believe other than Louise and PJ, who dnp knew before hand (pretty sure louise, might have been at the start of their career), tyler oakley and Anthony seem to be the only creators they seemed comfortable around. I forgot why I started talking about this. Oh, the conditions in which friendship had to stand under.

I truly don’t know how to explain how insane the phandom used to be. And how widespread. As someone approaching the age they were when they started to blow up, I am amazed they didn’t leave the internet.

This whole long rant is to say that it was overwhelming to even be in the vicinity of dnp. The amount of pressure is something I truly cannot describe. And it’s hard to explain if you weren’t there, but I cannot imagine an outsider maintaining a relationship with the two of them with the pressures both within the relegation ship and outside. Because let’s also not forget Dan’s mental health and trauma was triggered every time a “phan is real” comment happened. It was truly such a chaotic time and I think the reason they didn’t have a lot of friends was because they couldn’t.

So it’s just that it must have been so fucking hard. And they must have a very close bond to have survived what their friendship endured. It was such a unique scenario to be pulled into and deciding to come along for the ride is something I find so admirable.

I also think PJ has been a part of their journey with sexuality and how public they were about being together. From what we know, Phil and PJ filmed together back when it was just millennials. To as recent as filming April Fool’s. That experience of watching that dynamic rise and fall and having to just follow and work with must’ve been crazy

If you look at a lot of the credits in dnp’s more professional videos, PJ is often in the credit and often has a big role. Really, it’s mostly the same people who dip and pip work with which gets me the most. It’s obvious they feel comfortable and genuine around him. We’ve seen behind the scenes how they discuss ideas. It’s just very relaxed, which is something dip and pip were deprived of as soon as they started blowing up. Everything had to be planned and thought through. And I think having an old friend who they were likely open to about their relationship and sexuality probably kept them sane. I do believe they are a lot closer than they put forward online and good for them. I think that’s why they’ve stayed friends for so long.

A lot of this is pure speculation. But it must be so cool to have watched your close friend go through the journey pip did, all the while being with someone he loved. But also helping them through it and helping them express themselves within their own boundaries.

That’s what I was yapping about at the start. I think the few YouTubers dip and pip remained close to Anthony, Louise, and Tyler, is because they seemed to like dan and phil because they liked dan and phil. There was no ulterior motive and they genuinely didn’t give a shit their relationship or what fans said. If I were dnp, I would have become very guarded with my emotions. But, at least from what we’ve seen, they seem very comfortable with Pj and his gf I forget her name but she’s so pretty.

When I think of friendship I think of what Peej has with dip and pip. There was so much obvious discomfort for so many years and being able to adapt to that is something special. Balancing public versus private. And just having such long history together. Once again, I’m not up to date on my lore, but I’m pretty sure Phil and Pj knew each other before Phil knew Dan. Or at least it was very close. Like they have been friends from the start. Pj was there for every stage. Every stage. And having a friend who remained neutral during it all probably really helped dip and pip not go nuts.

I truly cannot put into words how out of control the phandom was. Like I don’t even know how to phrase it. It was such a unique phenomena that I have never seen anything even close since. So it’s hard to really get across what it meant sticking with dip and pip during the height of their career, but it must have been so fucking hard on all sides.

And to just see after that chaos that they are still close, that they still film together, that they just hang out,,, I just find that very neat. And admirable. And I’m so curious to know more about it.

𝟓. 𝐈𝐎𝐒𝐄𝐅 𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐒𝐎𝐕

It was already a big start when I watched John Wick and really liked Alfie Allen’s performance as Iosef. Only just recently I started to like-like Iosef as a character more. I love his sort of biker aesthetic with the leather jacket and hoodies, which is a BIG difference from the other three big bads of the movie series since they’re all dressed in this formal-business sort of outfit which really goes to show Iosef’s difference in terms of character to literally everyone in the movie series.

𝟒. 𝐉𝐎𝐇𝐍 𝐖𝐈𝐂𝐊

The man, the myth, the legend! He’s obviously gonna be on this list because the movies aren’t completed without him and he’s genuinely such a well-written character it’s just that most people (atleast on other platforms) just know John for killing an entire criminal organization over a dog and while yes that’s true, I can literally just yap over and over about how Daisy just symbolizes John’s remaining innocence and his connection to Helen/the overworld.

𝟑. 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐀𝐃𝐉𝐔𝐃𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐎𝐑

Watching John Wick Chapter 3: Parabellum and actually noticing everything after watching the fourth movie in the series was like a hit to the face. So Adjudicator— fucking awesome! I loved their entire wardrobe throughout the movies and how they all look so stylish yet refined. And I love the subtle story telling with their dangly earring which represents the fact they don’t necessarily have everything under control and so does the High Table.

𝟐. 𝐆𝐈𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐀 𝐃’𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐎𝐍𝐈𝐎

People truly sleep on Gianna because, hey, she got like ten minutes worth of screentime and had relatively a short time alive for the audience to look at her and like her as a character. But to me, I love her. I love my bitches who show up once and then never again. She’s evil, she’s ruthless, she’s a cunt; Santino’s just mad he can’t do it like her. Aka, be as good as her when it comes to ruling the Camorra. I love her so much, because as much as we were so close to see a truly ruthless individual who is a woman rule something as large and brutal as the Camorra, and also be a canon seat holder in the world of the High Table— Gianna remains one of my favorite due to how beautiful she is and how intuitive she was, her death scene was just absolutely beautiful.

We all saw this coming. He’s practically my brand, in fact I am him. He is me and he is I, don’t mind the fact he died in 2015 and I got pushed into this world against my will in 2005. Look at him. He’s literally the perfect villain for a movie like John Wick Chapter 4. He’s a cunt, played by Bill Skarsgård, he has a fuckass French accent, he never shows up in scenes without his pocket watch, the shoes are Prada and the suits are Valentino. All his suits are drenched in glitter, and every scene feels like he owns the place. The Louvre? The Louis Vuitton Foundation? The Palace of Versailles? The Palais Garnier? The fucking Tour de Eiffel? He’s always surrounded by his bodyguards, he’s eating cake and living his best life. God, he’s literally me. I am him bro. He is literally me. He’s a ruthless and brutal little cunt ass bitch who finds pain fascinating but I do not have a single fiber in my body that gives a hecking shit. Anna Wintour would have loved him. If there was an Anna Wintour in the John Wick world, Vincent would be her fucking soul son. If you were to tell me the bitch named Keith from Barbarian would suddenly be throwing on a French accent and walk the way he does now, I would have exploded. Vincent is nothing but the pure embodiment of the campiness of John Wick Chapter 4. The suits, the character, the attitude, the sheer level of audacity. He is a mixture of the villains before him, he is the campiness of John Wick Chapter 4, he is Bill Skarsgård having fun, he is an insufferable bitch who deserves the way he died and even then, his death was both relieving and also beautiful. The Marquis, Vincent Bisset de Gramont is everything in a John Wick villain; the design, the European, the mythology references, the hatred for John, the cowardice, the deceitful nature, the ability to serve so much cunt yet be so cringefailure loserboy at the same time. Chad Stahelski made a great decision casting Bill Skarsgård as the Marquis de Gramont because I cannot think of another 6’4 white man who looks like a disturbed Victorian era child who has never seen a cellphone. He looks like he would get pissed off if you called him cunty and he would die if you gave him Sprite to drink. Making a guillotine joke around him would have you executed on site. He has a nice ass and beautiful, glorious hips and thighs that he is gatekeeping from the community using his glittery tailcoats. He is a thirty three years old twink with perfect thighs and even better fashion. His hair has so much hairspray I don’t think that shit was moving for the duration of the movie. The perfect villain to have ended John Wick alongside the legend himself. The motherfucker comes from Southern France and I hate and love him even more because of that. He is such an insufferable little shit that if I were there in the agreements scene I would have done everything in my power to make sure the duel starts now so I can leap across the table and rip him to shreds with my bare hands. I am kissing him with tongue afterwards. I hyperfixated on him and hated him at first but then I remembered that his fanbase was lacking at the time so now I’m him yeah sorry Chad Stahelski himself told me I am him so yeah move out of the way ladies. Okay so I came up with this after watching the Goblin King and thought “hey what if they didn’t win?”

Some guy gets dark magic and decides to use it for bad and he holds a grudge against the gang because they made fun of his magic act (shaggy and scooby did the making fun of part). In the movie he turned Velma, Daphne and Fred into various monsters and I thought it’d be cool if he decided to do that to everyone else in the world (I just wanted to see more vampire fred since he only got like two frames in the show and has no fanfiction)

So basically he turns everyone in the world into monsters, but Scooby and shaggy are the one that escaped with the help of the wizard they met near the beginning on the movie and lay low with him while they try to find a way to reverse what happened

Most people were just turned into zombies for convenience, but the goblin king still wanted to be petty and turned anyone shaggy cared about into monsters with more awareness but still lost their humanity (I also totally didn’t make it so Fred was his right hand man and the semi-final boss lmao (I have a favorite if you couldn’t tell))

The fic starts about a month or so after and the two have basically given up at this point, until the wizard finds something that could turn werewolves human again (Velma was turned into a werewolf) and things go on from there

So, shaggy and Scooby go out to try and find Velma and end up at a monster bar they were at in the movie before. They then learn that the original monsters aren’t too happy about the new goblin king, but are too afraid to do anything

That’s about as far as I’ve gotten in the writing, and it’s been a while since I’ve worked on it, but it’s definitely one I’d like to go back to whenever my Scooby doo obsession comes back lol (might try to work on it after I finish Hazel)

2 days ago me and my brother were trying to find something to watch and we found the first Toy Story movie in our Disney+. It was more like a "lmao let's watch it again?" but then I got done it simply took over my brain

I literally couldn't sleep tonight due to hyperfocus. It's 06:30 am, help help help help help

I have a tendency to like hyperfocuses from my childhood. I mean, my 2000's- 2010's childhood. No, really, almost every single thing I like are stuff I liked when I was five. My room is full of collected stuff from my childhood because now I'm for example part of the Monster High fandom, or Sofia The First fandom, or Barbie Movies, or Ever After High, Undertale, the list goes on. When I did that "let a bot analyze your Instagram" trend the bot literally said "you seem like you're stuck in the 2010's" AND WELL MAYBE I AM

I have a big history with Toy Story, really huge, I grew up with it. I think it's the first hyperfocus I remember having, I was obsessed (as a young girl, in case you didn't notice, just a detail). My favorite character was Woody, but honestly I knew all the characters' names and I watched the movies over and over again, especially 2 and 3. One day my dad traveled to São Paulo for work (I live in Brazil, São Paulo here would be the equivalent of New York in the USA), he said he was coming back a few days later, and my mom stayed home with me to take care of me. I watched movies on her old laptop, and watched Toy Story 3 several times. It was on one of those times that I was watching when my dad came home from his trip with a gift, without warning, just gave me a huge Woody doll (it was the size of a toddler). My mom said that she had never seen me so happy actually

I carried that Woody everywhere with me. My mom even said I tried to bring him to the shower cuz I simply just couldn't stay away from him for a minute. I think I really took the "toys are alive" thing seriously. Actually I always took very great care of my dolls and that's why I can put my MH/EAH dolls in display in my room, they're very well cared. And my Woody doll is here too, I just don't want to take pics rn because it's very late, my room is dark and I'm lazy to take him off the shelf (I wrote this at 05am). If you call him ugly I'll rip you off in pieces, don't treat my son like that (got these pics from the internet)

You know that trend where people say "you look like your childhood toy"? my childhood toy is this Woody here. Some people I know made jokes about him being ugly/scary etc but I'm not scared of him, he always treated me very well lmao. He's a very nice fella

Some years later I got a Buzz Lightyear doll, but I mean, the ACTUAL Buzz doll. From the movie I mean

I live in a small town in Brazil. There was a lady (an old lady I mean) who sold products imported from the USA here in my town. In general they were household items, at least most of them. My mom used to buy us (me and my brother) toys by surprise, like, went out to do something and suddently came home with gifts, and that lady sold north american toys for a very cheap price. I THINK they came from thrift stores, because they arrived in plastic bags and they were random most of the time, like, clearly second hand you know? My mom once showed up with a full bag of polly pocket sized pets and playsets, the bag had the size of a trash bag, like, really big actually. And we weren't rich. Recently, due to me restoring this Buzz doll I spoke to my mom and she said that the prices for those toys were around 20 brazillian reais. You know how much 20 reais would be in dollars? 4 dollars, or less, because were talking about the mid 2010's.

Well, I got that Buzz doll. Among other three action figures of Buzz, Woody and Jessie, but they were smaller, fully plastic and didn't had the same appeal as the movie ones... but still, I liked them when I was young. When you pulled Woody's string, his legs actually moved like he could walk (but he couldn't). Jessie I can't remember. And Buzz, I found out that the action figure I had of buzz is called "laser blast Buzz Lightyear", and that's him

But well, my Buzz doll! The actual movie doll! At the time I didn't minded a lot about Toy Story anymore, even though I still loved to play with my Barbies/MH/EAH, so this Buzz was my brother's, and my brother was a small child when he got it. We got him fully working, pratically new; he could talk when pushing the buttons in his chest, his wings opened when pressing the red button, his laser worked, his helmet did a funny gas noise when opened, even the panel in his wrist had a sound effect, the guy was an amazing toy, truly amazing, and barely used.

Well, my brother and I played with him so much that we didn't think much about his fragility. We took his wings off and put them back on frequently, pressed the buttons non-stop, and after playing he was just thrown back into the toy chest, so he kept getting scratched, got dirty with play dough, dust, broke his wing, broke his arm, and so on... at least we played with him for a very long time. My brother didn't played with him anymore and I got Buzz for me (I didn't stole it, the toy was ours, it just had my brother's title in it and he didn't played with it anymore lmao), that man dated so many Barbies I swear. Funny fact: sometimes I would make blanket forts and put toys with flashing lights inside them, organize the dolls inside, put on music and call it a party, and Buzz would always be there flirting with everyone lol

But yeah going back to the subject, we played with him so much that he broke. Actually I'm surprised by the fact that Andy didn't broke them by the third movie. Time has passed, I restored my Monster High dolls and went on with my childish interests, but Toy Story wasn't something I really cared about revisiting. We moved into a new house and my brother put most of his toys in our "mess room" (basement), and so did I, except for my barbies/barbie sized dolls that are in a toy chest (the MH/EAH are in a shelf). Somehow this Buzz doll appeared again and I decided to put him in my barbie toy chest because I thought "huh I could restore you later actually"

And that's when this week arived, after 4 years living in this house. I'm rewatching all the movies and shorts, because of nostalgia and because I remembered how good those movies were, and I finally decided to restore my Buzz Lightyear. I'm recording the whole process and I'll post it on my YouTube channel. Honestly, I don't think I'll be able to fix everything and make him brand new. For example, the laser arm was ripped off, and even if I find the missing piece, I think it'll be hard to get it working again, especially because I don't know how to maintain the electronic part of the toy and my father, who knows, certainly won't help me with that. Besides, his helmet is very worn and I think it'll be hard to get it back to its previous shine and transparency. And his wings? Not even in my dreams, they have problems opening, problems with the lights, they don't have their "protective cover" outside anymore and the wires are exposed, forget it. What I want to do is bring dignity to the doll and restore him in my way. This means that even if he won't work again, or if he doesn't appears in perfect, what matters most is the fact that it was fixed and is in better condition. I want to treat him well, that is.

The kind of "fixing" I'm talking about is not making him work again completely, but for example taking his broken arm and putting a bandage on it, so we can pretend he broke his arm and he's healing, you know? I'll repaint him, glue his parts back together and... put him somewhere in my room. In a shelf

I know you're probably curious about what Buzz this is, and after doing some research I found out: "Buzz Lightyear Blue Cloud Thinkway Toys from 2009"

Thinking about the fact that my mom bought him for 2-3 bucks... when talking to my mom about the price for a new Buzz doll that is just like mine (bad word choice: I meant, "how much a new doll of this type costs today"), she said surprised: "and thinking that these toys were junk, no one wanted them to the point of ending up here where we are and for such a cheap price. No one wanted them!" Which I found quite an interesting observation. How did a second hand, perfect, no sign of use, every single interaction working, clean, brand new Buzz Lightyear ended up in a (supposed) thrift store???

I saw that this cartoon has a fandom here on Tumblr but it's more focused on Buzz' crew then in Toy Story for itself. Anyways it's very nice to know that this fandom exists

HII ITS IDIAVIL ANON AGAIN!!! i wanted to respond to the post u made in response to my ask... I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND NOT BEING ABLE 2 WRITE FICS LIKE!! ive been creatively writing for years and when it comes to stuff im rlly passionate abt i can become super duper creative. my struggle with writing fanfic is finding the time and motivation, plus my adhd makes it difficult for me to focus, BUT IVE BEEN DOING BETTER RECENTLY!!! im kinda familiar with wicked? i saw it on stage back when i was just a wee lad but i dont remember much of it (i honestly think i fell asleep ;-;) but i've been wanting to watch both the play and the new movie, i just haven't gotten to it yet. i will definitely keep this in mind as i watch both!! a few weeks ago i actually watched jennifer's body for the first time, i'd been wanting to watch it but then i saw someone mention a jennifer's body idiavil au and oh my gods i literally couldnt stop thinking about it. i've definitely kept that au in mind, and i will do the same for the wicked au!! when i do eventually watch wicked i'll probably send another giant yapping paragraph in ur asks abt it... hi again haha!! whenever you watch the wicked movie i really hope you enjoy it! just keep in mind that they kind of, extended every single scene in act 1 to make it 2.5 hours long (when the whole stage musical with both acts combined is that length), so it's only a part 1 and we won't get part 2 until next year. which admittedly DOES bug me but i still loved the movie anyway. if you want to watch the stage musical after that, well, the people who record bootlegs usually ask you not to put them on youtube but people do anyway AKJDGJFSG. so you can probably find one easily enough! it's my absolute favorite musical! when i went to see it live in april, i kept thinking "well, vil does share glinda's love of fashion and her popularity and ambition, but he's different from her in a lot of ways too! for example, he doesn't believe that popularity is the only thing that really matters, and he would never sacrifice his own morals and ideals to achieve his goals... oh... wait..." and then i realized that the whole plot of book 5 is that vil kind of DID do all that! that's the whole tragedy of it, that he overblotted because he DID start to think that his hard work was meaningless and that he SHOULD resort to any means possible to be the most popular at the expense of his moral compass, and he thought of himself as ugly for doing so! he COULD have ended up basically alone, being praised by others around him as beautiful and good while inside he secretly believes himself to be wicked, just like glinda if his friends hadn't done everything to stop him from poisoning neige.

and idia may not be an animal rights activist like elphaba, nor is she an otaku LOL, but elphaba grew up lonely and ostracized because of her green skin and idia's family curse forced him to grow up isolated on the isle of woe and have blue fire for hair. she's a caretaker for her disabled sister whose father blames her for her condition, and idia has a robot brother whose death he blames himself for. elphaba is jaded and sarcastic and abrasive and deeply insecure, and who else fits that description? the only issue is that idia is far too pessimistic about the future to decide to do what elphaba does in defying gravity on his own, but i think in an AU he could be pushed to do it. also there's this part in wicked where after glinda and elphaba get back from a big dance at the ozdust ballroom glinda says "was that your first party?!" and elphaba deadpans "does a funeral count?" and i can just so clearly see that with idia and vil AFKJDGHF. there's so many other scenes too that i just see as being perfect for them.

as for fiyero i had two ideas here: in the actual musical, there's a love triangle in which elphaba and fiyero ultimately end up together but as i mentioned i would want to give my AU a happy ending and make vil and idia end up together in it. so i would do one of two things: 1) cast kalim as fiyero, because he literally just fits the role perfectly. fiyero is a foreign prince, and look at the lyrics to dancing through life and try to tell me kalim wouldn't sing this. but i don't ship kalim with either vil or idia, so in this scenario i'd probably cut the love triangle and have him somehow end up as their bestie who supports whatever insane gay thing those two have got going on. imo kalim really does fit fiyero better than anyone else and this idea is just so funny to me. or 2) cast rook as fiyero, keep the love triangle, and have it end in polyamory because even though i've never even considered shipping rook with idia i do ship rook/vil and i think this would be hilarious as an AU. also, there's a scene in wicked where glinda and elphaba are hanging out and glinda is like "let's tell each other our best secrets! i'll go first! FIYERO AND I ARE GOING TO BE MARRIED!!!" and since they've just started dating elphaba is like "he's asked you already??" and then glinda goes "oh no, he doesn't know yet!" and imagining vil saying that about rook just makes me laugh so hard.

OKAY. so there is an incomplete summary of my thoughts on a vilidia wicked AU!! honestly i don't really watch horror movies so i haven't seen jennifer's body but if i ever do watch it i'll have to keep that AU idea in mind. as for the hercules parallel idk if you've seen this post of mine but it makes me so happy every time someone likes or reblogs it because then i get to think about them again. hercules/meg has always been one of my favorite disney couples so when i saw this happen in book 6 i was immediately just. doomed to be insane about vil/idia forever because are you KIDDING ME?? also your birthday is right after mine omg, mine was october 25th!! so a late happy birthday to you, then! one last thing i'd like to say in this already way too long response is that i have two sets of floyd and riddle nuis--listen, they're my other favorite ship so i bought the first ones online and then saw more at a con i went to and couldn't resist--and i'm going to be getting idia and ortho nuis for christmas. hopefully soon i'll be able to get a vil nui as well so i can keep him right next to his boyfriend and his film club buddy/future brother-in-law 💙💜

Successful conversion to the family of Modern Inheritance!

So, as some of you may have picked up, I've been talking to my coworker, aka Towel Gremlin(g), about IC/MIC pretty frequently at work. Towel has never interacted with the Eragon fandom besides her brother reading it, so I've been gushing about the canon series as well as our little weird MIC canon, with MIC being the main focus but still stressing the differences between the canon and my canon.

Well, lately, Towel has been coming in talking about various characters she's been seeing (particularly in Babylon 5, which she's currently watching) that are strongly reminding her of MIC!Arya, and is totally getting into it. And you know what she said?

"Alright, I have the Arya brainrot now."

Never read the books, I have sworn her off reading actual MIC stories because I can't look anyone in the eye if they've read any of my writing, she does follow the blog for the occasional memes though, I recently showed her the movie for making fun of it purposes and we had a blast, but just through sheer exposure to my yapping alone I HAVE CONVERTED A PERSON TO MIC AND GIVEN THEM MY ARYA BRAINROT AND I AM SO FUCKING HAPPY ABOUT IT OMG

I'm also very proud of her because she is nailing the people she says are Arya coded haha.

a little something about teenage love stories

"We all want a teenage fantasy" said Jorja Smith in 2017, in her song "Teenage Fantasy". I must admit, she was right. As I am currently living my teenage years, I have recently felt like my life was missing something. Missing on a specific experience of a teen I always dreamt about when younger: a teenage love story.

Growing up, we girls, were always pushed into believing in love. It has been marked in every media we had access too. Movies, cartoons, books or toys. It felt like no woman was complete without a lover, more specifically, a man. Take this: the most independent woman we were exposed to, Barbie, also had to have a man (despite him being useless, in my opinion). Disney Princesses' future is always "and they lived happily ever after" after falling for their prince charming. Love was everywhere and we were raised to believe it was an achievement in life. You HAD to experience the perfect love story.

However, I feel like love has never been pushed on us like it was in coming-of-age movies and series, or more generally, medias representing teenagers. I remember K.C. Undercover, where everytime K.C. got close to a boy, it was a whole event, as if it was abnormal to not have a boyfriend. Having a boyfriend feels like a normal experience for a teen. It was part of how we thought teenage years / high school would be.

And, when you arrive in high school, it is, kind of, that way. My high school social life was rhythmed by the different couples there, the romance drama and, just generally, whatever love story that was going on. Everyone had their thing to say, myself included. I would find myself watching these couples and forming an opinion on each of them, if they looked good together, etc. But I would also fantasize about it, a cute teenage love story that would last forever. I can take as an example a couple in my school: I'm pretty sure they got together before I arrived at the school and are still together TO THIS DAY. And I would see them around school and thought they were the cutest ever. They seemed to love each other out loud (which surprised me for the guy, you know, because masculinity and all that) and were always happy together. Overall, they were just perfect.And I would lie if I said I did not want that too. Yet, I never craved for it, I knew my time would come eventually.

But, recently, as my high school years came to an end, I felt like I missed something by not dating in high school. I had nothing to romanticize about my school years, nothing to talk about other than that I went to class and had friends. At that moment, I realized how it was such an expectation that I had for high school. And overall, for my life. I never imagined myself, in the future, single. It was always: I will go to university AND have a boyfriend, I will be a journalist AND have a boyfriend. So when I realized I didn't have one, I was hit with some regrets. Regrets that came because of my first somewhat attainable high school crush. The first time I felt giddy talking about that one person I never talked to and actually wished something could happen (I still hope, guys, I'm at that point).

And that little hope made me realize that my high school years were over and I was one of the only one (of my friends) who never experienced any type of romance whether it was a touch, a flirt or a simple eye contact. It kind of made me lose hope in a future love but, hey, I'm still young and have a life to live.

I don't think I got anywhere by saying this. Honestly, I'm really just yapping. But anyways, my "story" shows how much this narrative of teenage love has an impact on girls. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who felt like that (and if I am, it's pretty embarrassing).

I don't know if I wanted to come to a conclusion with this whole rant. This mostly was to write about something I recently experienced and made me think a bit. Also, to share my story as one of many examples of how society sculpts girls to make them whoever they want them to be. Overall, what we can get from this is, do not feel pressured to be or do something because it feels like the norm. Your own speed is the right speed as long as you feel comfortable.

As to how I’m doing—

Well, I got the meds I desperately needed to be on for the last few months, and so now I’m back to stability in my life which is great. Been going to Hot Pot a lot, because I’m in my meat 🍖 era. Also going to karaoke 🎤 this Thursday so that’ll be fun. I went like two weeks ago for the first time ever, with my friend, and we enjoyed it so much we decided to go again this week.

Honestly, the fact I like a lot of rap songs nerfed me because I immediately decided to go for it for karaoke. On the plus side I can kill Eminem’s “Without Me” cause I got that shxt memorized LOL! Some other songs I did really well were Papa Roach’s last resort, and Pretty Fly for a White Guy 🕺🕺🕺🕺.

But yeah, honestly I’ve just been chilling lately.

Something I found quite funny is my roommate told me I remind them of Laois from Dungeon Meshi and immediately pulled up a video of him barking like a dog to show me our similarities 😔🤪🤡🤡🤡🤡🥴.

I’ve been really wanting to get back into tokusatsu because I’ve seen some pics and clips here and there without context and every time im like “Dayum! This shxt looks fire!!”

But I’ve been busy procrastinating writing (the task that has taken up most of my attention) by watching v-tubers 😫.

I need to get back into my drawing practice too tbh, but I’ve been so focused on life and writing and v-tubers that everything gets shot to the wayside.

Back to my vtuber distraction—recently there was a GTA VTRP server and both Bettel and Ruze participated in it and I lost so many neurons watching that stuff for like 10 hours each day. The obsession was real, fr fr.

And my echolalia kicked in and I had a stupid southern accent every time I talked, for like, half a day.

Which was equally as embarrassing as my obsession of watching the GTA server LMAO.

Even if no one asks I might post some videos of my favorite moments from the GTA VTRP server, because there were some many good movie-worthy moments 😭😭😭.

I’ve also been waiting for an email from a doll company saying they got my doll and they’re about to ship it out to me considering it’s been Fking

I know it takes like 6 months for the dolls to be made but holy shxt. (For context, I collect ball jointed dolls. It’s a very expensive fking hobby and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone LMAO)

I know the site I ordered from has a good reputation so I’m probably not being scammed—but by God I’m impatient. A terrible trait for a doll collector.

Good Morning! Happy start of the week!

September is almost over! But also spookiest month is coming! :D I was always sad as a kid that my country wasn't celebrating Halloween. Now kids do it more often while boomer parents yap how this isn't Bulgarian/Orthodox Christian holiday or something... Ya all need to leave the kids have fun and do kids things and enjoy being spooky and getting candy! I love preparing candy for trick or treaters!

I'm glad kids are having more fun and my generation seems more chill about these things.

October, october, october~!! I look forward to binge watching spooky movies, spooky series, bake cinnamon rolls, start inktober and agonize as I fall behind it ... :D;;; Speaking of, with how October tends to be, I may skip a chapter update at some point of my "The Snake, The Firebrand and The King of All" comic (update later today btw! Please look forward to it!). I think I'm keeping a good pace so far. I just know October gets crazy at work and between that and attempting Inktober, on top of... attempting to juggle FanFyria updates too... it may get crazy! But if it does, I will drop something instead of trying to be a hero and juggle everything xD;;

Sun Haven, Sun Haven~ That game is seriously enabling some kinda fang/claws aesthetic I'm super into and never realized until now lol We tried multiplayer with friends yesterday and it was pretty fun! Nothing broke (too much) yet :D;; We accidentally got ... God and his 3 angels (or Ary's whole family as we joke now!) I hope I get to draw them too eventually! Original Character (don't steal) ™ I've been scribbling Reciferius a lot lately, you guys remember him? :D;; he won the OC poll way back! I drew him recently, kinda keep scribbling him again on the side. Still not sure what to do with him, or in what world setting I can stuff him but... well anyway he has fangs now cause apparently it's "fangs n claws season" in my head!

I hope I get to finish this WIP eventually this week, I'm really happy at the vibe I got :D
