honestly, i get raskolnikov's deal - as someone who's also living miles away from home just to get an education, the lack of social interaction, not getting your basic necessities (i skip meals frequently / sleep at ungodly hours when i'm stressed/swamped with school work), and having an unchecked perspective towards people and life in general - will really push you to do outrageous and unthinkable stuff.
#i once screamed at my roommate because i was so stressed and was running on literally no sleep n i haven't eaten properly for days#obviously thats no excuse for bad behavior but it explains it#i made it a point to go get some fresh air/take a walk by myself whenever i feel stuffed up inside the dorm#or to go grab a snack if i realize i haven't eaten anything in a while#i know ras is a fictional dude but damn#he was really going through it#i'm just a little luckier than he was#damn you dostoevsky#making me root for an axe murderer#god i love him#shut up rin#crime and punishment#fyodor dostoevsky#rodion romanovich raskolnikov#russian literature

I have this friend that I haven't seen in a year. Last time I saw them, they were skinnier than me and barely ate when stopping by. They didn't ask for snacks or anything to eat unless I was already planning on eating something. That's all fine and good, but I saw them again after about a year...
They had clearly put on at least 100 pounds, potentially 150, and I know it sounds like I'm exaggerating, but I assure you that I'm not. When the couch barely made a sound before, it creaked and groaned against their weight. When they had no issues getting around, going up the stairs left them out of breath. When the floorboards were silent with their footsteps, they now stepped heavily around the house with the boards creaking loudly underneath them. Even their clothes, which had to be new, were struggling against their overstuffed belly.
The first thing they did was ask me for something to eat, so I gladly made them ramen. They requested two packets and a soft-boiled egg, and I gladly provided. After their meal, they asked for snacks, so I willingly gave them whatever they wanted - all that I had. They finished an entire box of cheezits and a half of a second box. They also finished half a box of cookies. They wanted hot chocolate to go with this, so again, I provided, making sure to add extra whip cream and small marshmallows. As much as I tried not to, I found myself sneaking a glance at their shirt that was now riding up on them slightly as their belly hung over their pants.
They told me they were still hungry and somewhat reluctantly asked if I had anything left to eat. I happily agreed and made a full pizza, not expecting to eat a single bite of it myself. I brought the pizza over to the kitchen table, and they took a seat, the wooden chair creaking loudly as they did so. After I added some extra cheese on top, they took a slice and quickly devoured it. Then they took another, and another. I kept them talking as they ate, somewhat of a distraction, and before they realized it, they had eaten the entire pizza. I could tell their pants were barely clinging to them, and it was clear their shirt was riding up much more than it had been before. They looked stuffed, and I could see a look in their eyes that said, "If I eat any more, I'll pop."
Their stomach, however, disagreed with their comfort and growled. Clearly embarrassed, they tried to play it off, but I knew better. I grabbed them a dessert - a tub of strawberry ice cream, a small slice of chocolate cake, ice, extra sugar, a bit of cinnamon, and a half pint of heavy cream. I pulled out my blender and made a delicious and thick milkshake. How many calories it was, I can't exactly say, but I had to be a good host to my starving friend, no? I couldn't let them go hungry.
I handed them a glass of the drink, and, hesitantly at first, they started politely drinking, but as they continued, their polite sips turned into desperate gulps, as if they hadn't drank anything in ages. They chugged the drink down - one glass became two, and two became three, and so on until the drink had been finished entirely. Their breathing was a bit more labored as they sat, seemingly pinned to their chair by their weight, and with one final gulp of their glass, the button on their pants flew off, and their belly spilled out of the far-too-tight jeans. They were extremely embarrassed, but of course, I reassured them, letting them know that it just meant there was more room to eat their fill.
As their belly hung out, filled to the brim with food, it growled, begging for more. My friend's expression said that they could barely handle more, but their stomach clearly had other ideas. With a polite smile, I asked, "Are you still hungry?"

Unrealistic, but I want to wake up and gain at a rate that is noticeable within the day. Like wake up and not realize anything wrong then, but by the end of the day, I'm 80 lbs beavier. Imagine it starting when I wake up and going for 24 hours. I'd wake up and first hr probably not notice anything. But as I go through my day, it becomes more noticeable. First, my jeans feel a little more tight, but I'm just a little bloated, nothing to notice. Then my extra large sweater starts sticking to touch me in places it typically doesn't, but I brush it off. Till 5 hours later, I'm about 17 lbs heavier, and I start to notice my body feels weird. My jeans that typically fall down every 5 mins stop falling and feel almost fitting. 2 hrs later, I'm walking home from work and can definitely feel something. My bra feels lighter, and my pants feel almost constricting as I've gained 20lbs by this point. I get home and go to take a shower when I look in the mirror my toned abs are gone and a flat slightly rounded stomach stares back as if I'd eaten a large meal my otherwise small tits also look bigger almost like they went up a cup size. And my thighs look like sausages as I peel the jeans of my skin. I take a shower and notice that I'm definitely not imagining my body bigger. I put my pajamas on and sit down at my desk playing games. My once flat belly stsrt slowly expanding on my lap as the game zaps 6 hours of my attention. My 2xl pj pants feel less loose, but I still haven't priced that I'm gaining yet. Just a simple mind, trick, or tiredness. I get up to get a snack and can feel the changes. I can feel air on my belly, which is weird. I go back to the mirror and see my once fitting small shirt riding up, revealing a plush stomach. My face unaffected before looks softer. My arms and legs are more plush. I don't know what to do at this point. I can't call anyone. And I can't leave the house all of my jeans are too small and my ocd prevents me from leaving in pajamas. I'm trapped all my friends. I trust you are in college, and so I'm left to just hope for it to stop. While I find it hot to have gained so much in such a little time, the reality that I'm not prepared for this sinks in. I make myself dinner as my thoughts race. Another 2 hrs pass from preping cooking and cleaning dinner. My body noticed all the new weight now as if each soft pound were a weight placed on my formerly slim frame. I can feel as each step I take my thighs rub and belly jiggles. And I remember I have an elastic skirt that would fit. But it's way too late to go to the hospital now. I may as well go to bed and go in the morning. I get in bed and sleep, noticing my body is warm and soft as I curl and fall asleep. Only to be awoken by sharp pain the next morning 24 hours after this started. My s shirt was cutting into my belly, squishing my tits. My tits started so small, look like someone replaced them with saggy baseballs. My once roomy pants. Felt normal as my once bird legs were replaced with large fat thighs and a muffin top that made me look bigger than I was sitting down. I go take a shower as I don't know what else to do. I walk to the shower and see that my once thin face was softer and more plump. I bend down to grab my towel from the bottom cabinet and have a hard time as my belly restricts my movement and makes me feel sluggish. I hope in the shower and feel how soft I've become feeling the squish with every movement now. I get out and decide it isn't so bad. I now have the tits and ass I've always wanted and a cute belly to go with it. I put on my skirt and a sweater, which would otherwise be baggy, looked normal, and headed out the door. But instead of to the doctors office I go to the clothing store.

OMG GUE SUNG CHO IMAGINE WHEN HE FINDS OUT YOU ARE PREGNANT OMG IT WOULD BE SO SWEET PLS MAKE IT
A/N: I saw this an immediately gasped. This man would be so wholesome!! This has not been proofread as I wrote this during a class break, lol.
TAGLIST: @minaamhh
"Aunt Y/N, can you give me the salt?"
You smiled as you handed one of Guesung's nephews the salt shaker, helping him to add a suitable amount to his food before placing it back down next to you. You had gone out with Guesung and his niece and nephews, deciding to end the long day with some dinner.
"Here, baby," Guesung placed a thick piece of steak onto your plate before starting a new one. You thanked him, cutting a piece before holding it to his lips. You knew he hadn't eaten yet since you all came to the restaurant, focused on cooking the meat instead for everyone. He accepted it, humming as he chewed it. "I want one too, Aunt Y/N~"
You laughed softly, cutting up pieces of your steak for them as Guesung scolded them softly for not eating their own food, but instead asking for yours. His niece and both of his nephews loved you to bits, even a bit more than Guesung. That meant that they were very possessive of you, so you weren't able to do anything with Guesung without one of them trying to push their way in between you and him. You fed the kids, enjoying how sweet they were as Guesung placed the newly cooked steak onto your plate.
"Eat up, Y/N. You haven't really eaten all day," he placed his hand on your thigh as you ate, his thumb comfortably rubbing your leg as he finished cooking the food. You rubbed his back, thanking him for cooking as the table quieted down as everyone focused on eating.
You didn't know why, but you weren't fond of any food at all today. All of your favorites were making you sick. Throughout the day, he offered you many things to snack on, pouting whenever you declined. He even got you a big bag of cheese-its, which is your favorite. So, after dinner when you declined to get ice cream, he knew something was up.
When you got home, you suddenly paused as you felt an overwhelming craving for those cheese-its he had gotten you, which were in the car. You found your husband getting ready for a shower, stopping him as he removed his shirt. "Can you go grab those cheese-its?" Guesung paused, asking why you couldn't get it yourself. You gently wrapped your arms around his bicep, offering him your best puppy eyes, making him sigh. He put his shirt back on before making his way to the car, getting the food before handing it to you.
He noticed how clingy you had gotten lately as well, using your famous puppy eyes whenever you asked him to do anything. He wasn't complaining as he loved to have you close, but he was worried about you.
Guesung took you with him to train in Spain since you could work remotely, hoping to see why you changed. When you weren't with him, you were with the other significant others going around town. You hadn't thought anything about how you had been acting as of late until one of the other girls mentioned it. "Maybe you're pregnant?" you almost dropped your drink, declining the idea immediately. There's no way you could be, especially because you hadn't had sex with him in a few weeks. "You never know, Y/N, until you take a test." You nodded, realizing that may be the reason that you may have been acting differently.
You popped into a nearby convenience store to grab a box of tests before heading back to your shared place with Guesung. You hid in the bathroom, taking 5 before turning on a timer, sitting down on the tub as you waited. You weren't nervous about it coming out positive; in fact, you were excited. You had seen how happy Guesung was when he spent time with his nieces and nephews, so you weren't worried about how he felt about having kids.
"Baby? Are you in there?"
You jumped as Guesung knocked on the bathroom door, quickly placing a towel over the tests before he could open the door. He smiled as he kissed your forehead, now unfazed by your nervous appearance. You smiled, wrapping your arms around your his sweaty body, looking up at him. He looked down at you with so much love, kissing your forehead once more as your phone's timer went off. "Are you timing yourself using the bathroom or?" he chuckled, making you stuff your face into his chest. You turned it off before asking him to go wait in the bedroom, gently pushing him out. He now looked worried, asking if you were alright. You nodded, saying that you just needed some privacy. He obliged, closing the door behind him as he left to go sit down on the bed. You took a deep breath as you checked the tests, smiling as you noticed that they all came out positive.
You were pregnant.
You picked them up before making your way out to where he was sitting, taking in his caring appearance. When he noticed you approaching him, he sat up, wrapping his arms around your thighs. "Are you alright, Y/N? If you don't feel well then we can go to-"
"I'm pregnant." He paused at your words, his eyes widening as you showed him the tests. While you thought you should've waited and told him in a cute way, you were satisfied with telling him this way. He took a second to look over the results before leaning forward, kissing your stomach. Everything you had been recently doing now made sense; how clingy you were being, your rapid change of food preferences.
He tried to stop himself from crying, squeezing you tightly as he could, repeatedly kissing your stomach as you run your hands through his hair. You could tell from how he was acting how happy he was like you knew he'd be.
"Are you alright, baby?" you rubbed his back comfortingly. He at first didn't say anything before whispering "we're going to have a child of our own...a baby." You could tell he was on the verge of crying, which made you cry. He smiled as he stood up, kissing you lovingly as he picked you up, placing you on the bed as he held you close.
"I love you, baby. And you," he leaned down to whisper against your stomach "I love you so much. I can't wait to meet you."
~ <3 ~
"Baby, I couldn't find the ice cream you wanted."
You pouted as you waddled over to him, rubbing your stomach as he took out the groceries. He apologized as he kissed your forehead, rubbing your stomach before he handed you the ramen you had been searching for. Your eyes lit up as he offered to cook it for you, ushering for you to rest back on the couch. "Love has been making me crave it so much. Besides ice-cream and that ramen, that's all I've been wanting to eat."
The day after Guesung had found out you were pregnant, he began to call the baby "Love." Whenever he talked to your stomach, he would always say "Hi Love, it's daddy." He would read to your stomach or talk about his most recent soccer game. He even had a pillow he would place on your lap while he talked to the baby so you could run your hands through his hair. You thought it was so cute and the sweetest thing you'd ever seen.
He was keen on taking good care of you and your baby, having you rest more than you usually would. He would go out in the middle of the night to get your cravings and would always bring you any food you requested while he was out training.
"Be careful, baby. It's very hot," He placed the ramen down in front of you to give it time to cool down, leaning down to kiss your stomach. You relaxed as "Love" kicked, happy to get some attention from Guesung, making him smile. "Love is awake, baby," you placed his hand on your stomach, watching as the kicks moved toward his hand before calming down. Guesung's smile grew wider as he spoke softly to the baby, hoping to help the baby calm down so you didn't feel the harsh kicks. "I think Love is going to be like daddy and be a soccer player," you laughed, wincing as the baby did a harsh kick. Guesung kissed your stomach, asking Love softly to calm down, rubbing the area. "I hope so. I think Love is a girl, though."
You ran your hands through his hair, asking how he knew. He only shrugged before saying "I just have a feeling."
Well, his feeling was correct.
"Look at her little nose!" you turned in your hospital bed as Guesung showed his soccer team D/N, who was sleeping peacefully in his arms. He had a proud smile on his face as she sighed cutely, everyone's heart melt. When Guesung noticed that you were awake, he made his way over to you, kissing your forehead before placing D/N next to you. "She looks as pretty as mommy does."
Guesung kept that same attitude as D/N grew up, helping you the best he could, whenever he could. You had to admit that D/N was a bit of a daddy's girl, clinging to him whenever she could. You didn't mind, though; it was cute to see D/N and Guesung all snuggled up together.
And soon enough, she turned 5.
"Mommy! Daddy's coming!"
You held D/N up as Guesung and the rest of his team came rushing over after the game, all sweaty but happy with the win. Guesung picked up D/N as he kissed your cheek, then kissed hers when she pouted. "I won my first soccer game!" Guesung smiled as D/N told him about the game she had on Friday, his face showing how proud he was. That was another thing he was right about; she wanted to be a soccer player just like him.
When you all arrived back at the hotel, you put D/N to sleep while Guesung showered. She chose to sleep in the middle as she wanted to be in between you both, which you didn't mind. When he came out and saw her asleep, he felt his heart melt. His two favorite people in the world all snuggled up together; it was like a dream to him. He kissed you lovingly before slipping into the bed next to her, smiling as she snuggled up to him. "I'm so happy I met you, Y/N." You furrowed your brows as you met his eyes, smiling at how much love he had in his. "I got to marry you, and now you've brought D/N into the world...It's all I could've ever wanted and more." You felt your eyes well up as he kissed your cheek, his wedding ring clinking with yours.
"Daddy, you're being too loud!" you both looked down to see a slightly awake D/N pouting at you both for waking her up, making you laugh. "Sorry, we'll be quiet." You kissed her forehead as Guesung laid down fully.

@ofdieus Tillie
Poppy had. a stack of books in her arms heading to a spot to read. She had found a small nook just off one of the libraries that was perfect. She set up her books before realizing she hadn't eaten anything since the previous nights dinner and it was almost dinner time again. She made her way quickly to where the kitchen was and grabbed some bread and cheese before heading back to her spot. She was pleasantly surprised to find someone she knew standing near her nook. "Tillie!" She exclaimed at the Autumn courts scholar. "I feel like I haven't seen you in forever. Will you join me for a snack while I go through those texts again?" She asked as she nodded towards the pile of books in her seat.

Hey there!
It's been a while since I last posted here. I've been going through a tough time mentally, and I'm still trying to pick myself back up. But hey, enough about that for now!
A recap about my school day. I decided to stay on campus for the whole day instead of going back home(which made SUPER exhausted).
Morning classes :
I had two classes. The first one was all about Linux, and the second one focused on JEE (not the most exciting class).
Evening classes :
I had a JEE Lab. We were revisiting our JAVA skills and had a blast building a little snake game, (I still need to add the score, though).
My mental health lately:
Today, I felt extremely off. Anxiety hit me like a ton of bricks, to the point where my head and ears physically hurt. It's overwhelming, and I'm not sure how to overcome it. Any suggestions?
Anyway, I'm going to grab some dinner now (I haven't eaten anything today except for one cookie snack - I know, that's so bad, I'm realizing it now, OMG!). I need a satisfying meal to fuel up. After that, I'll study and make sure to post a new update on @codingquill.
I hope everyone out there is having a better day than I am. Sending love <3

Falling In Reverse
(Reverse robins)
Chapter 3
Meeting
"Hello?" Damian called as he entered the mansion. It was oddly quiet, Damian felt his heart tug a little. This was the first time since Tim's death he had stepped foot in the mansion. He remembered watching Homeward bound on the sofa with Tim a million times. He remembered them fighting on the floor over almost everything. Turning he saw Bruce and a small kid.
"I'd like you to meet Jason Todd," Bruce said gesturing to the small boy "I just adopted him"
"Hello," Damian greeted in his usual cold-sounding voice.
"Hey I guess," Jason said trying to sound cool. Jason had heard about how Damian once knocked out seventeen guys for just looking at him the wrong way, this made him Jason's hero. This also made Bruce start taking blood pressure pills.
"Father may I speak to you" Damian's eyes darted towards the study. Bruce nodded before turning to Jason.
"Go watch TV" Jason scurried off to find the remote. Bruce led Damian to the study so they would not be heard.
"Really father?" Damian glared "You can't just replace Tim, especially with some street rat!"
"I'm not trying to replace him" Bruce insisted. Suddenly they heard the door creek. Damian turned around to see Jason standing at the door.
"I don't need some snobby-nosed rich kid calling me a street rat!" Jason spat "Not when you're just a sheltered brat who had everything handed to him!"
"Jason..." Jason darted down the hallway as fast as his legs could take him. Bruce turned to his eldest son "I think it would be best if you leave"
"Whatever" Damian sighed before walking out.
Timeskip
"Finally" Damian let out a sigh of relief. Today's meeting had been extremely boring and to top it Conner broke the tv after his show wouldn't come in.
"Hey, can I catch a ride?" Wally yelled right before Damian could even pull out of his parking spot.
"What for, you have super speed?" Damian raised an eyebrow.
"Yeah and a super metabolism" Wally wined "Please I haven't eaten anything all day, I'm about to pass out" Damian sighed opening the passenger door.
"Snacks are in-" Before he could finish his sentence Wally had cleaned out all the snacks in the glove department.
"Thanks," Wally said stuffing a handful of chips in his mouth. After finishing off the chips Wally grabbed a candy bar.
"You do realize that candy bar is old right?" Wally nodded taking a bite "I swear West you are a human garbage disposal"
"I can't help it" Wally smiled finishing off an apple "What was Bats talking about after the meeting?"
"Father wants me to come over and bond with the kid" Damian said slowing down at the stop sign.
"Doesn't he know grizzly bears and children don't mix" Wally joked.
"Shut up" Damian growled. Realizing he was getting frustrated, Damian stopped and took a deep breath.
"Wow, you are even more uptight than normal" Wally tilted his head "What's going on?"
"Let's just say the first time we met didn't go very well" Damian sighed pulling into the parking lot.
"You just don't make good first impressions do you?" Wally laughed "Remember when we first met, you stabbed me in the leg"
"I told you to go away" he pointed out.
"How about when you met Star?" Wally smirked "You were so nervous you introduced yourself as Ribbon then you accidentally said marry me instead of carry these"
"Keep it up I have a sword in the trunk" Damian joked.
"Okay I'm done" Wally laughed "but you know; me and you are best friends now and you're dating Star, give the kid some time and I'm sure he'll come to like you too"
"Thanks," Damian said getting out of the car "I assume I'm paying?"
"Of course," Wally said darting into the restaurant.

Part 0: Life In Serene Village
...
...
"...Hmm?"
...
"Zzz..."
"Oh, for the love of...Not again. This Piplup sure is something else..."
"Zzz..."
"Come on, now. It's time for you to wake up."
"Zzz..."
"Hey, wake up."
"Zzz..."
*groan*
"I SAID WAKE UP!"
"...?!"
The moment I heard that thunderous voice, my eyes instantly opened and my body shot up. However, even though my body reacted so quickly, my mind was still half-asleep. In a daze, I slowly looked around to see where I was. Uh...it looked like I was inside of a house? Then I slowly turned to the one who had forced me awake. My eyes were still blurry from just waking up, but from what I could make out, it was a big blue Pokémon with a grumpy face.
...
...Wait a minute.
A grumpy face...?
...
Oof-!
Oh, yikes. I ended up blurting that out without realizing it. I could sense the other Pokémon's irritation from what I said, but they ignored it and kept talking.
"Get up, Nozomi. You overslept."
"...?"
Overslept...?
...
...Oh.
Oh!
Oh, cripes!
At that moment, all of the drowsiness left my body and I was completely awake. I looked around once more until my eyes landed on the other Pokémon's figure again. Only this time, I completely recognized who was standing there: an older, stern-looking Carracosta.
...
POPS?!
I scrambled to my feet, then gave him a questioning look. What the heck did he mean, "I overslept?!"
"It's exactly like it sounds, child! You ended up sleeping in again!" he replied.
Seriously...? This was the third time this week. I've never had a problem with oversleeping before. Why was this happening all of a sudden?
I groaned as I quickly grabbed my belongings and stuffed them in my bag. Then I turned back to Pops and asked him how much time I had until school started. He paused for a moment, then answered.
"I'd say about five minutes."
I nodded, then smiled determinedly. That was good enough for me. I could still make it if I booked it from here. After taking a deep breath and mentally preparing myself for the long run to school, I headed toward the door, but Pops stopped me before I could walk out.
"Wait. You haven't eaten yet. We still have leftovers from last night. Why don't you eat a little of that before you leave?" he asked.
I shook my head. I didn't have any time to waste. I didn't want to arrive late and have Mr. Farfetch'd or the vice principal chew me out again.
"But - " Pops continued, trying to convince me.
However, before he could continue, I reassured him that I would be fine and that I'd snack on something from my bag. Then I gave him a cheerful smile, waved at him, and gave him a quick "Love ya!" before leaving the house. I heard him let out another sigh as I started running. I felt kind of bad, but it couldn't really be helped.
I made my way to the plaza, where I saw some of the other villagers going about their day. Mr. Raticate was sculpting boulders with his son, Ratatta. Mr. Lombre was tending to his lotus pond. I caught a brief glimpse of Mr. Hippopotas relaxing at the dock. And of course, Mr. Kecleon was at his shop, like always. Now that I think about it, that's the only place I see him. I don't think I've ever seen him doing anything else. Weird. There was also Mr. Hawlucha, who also seemed to have a shop, but it looked like he was still setting up. I didn't have time to actually stop and chat with any of them, though. My sole focus was making it to school on time. I didn't want to be late again for the third time this week.
I dashed through the path to the school until I saw the school gate up ahead. I stopped for a moment to catch my breath. It looked like running to school on an empty stomach took a toll on me. Which...wasn't really a surprise when I thought about it. Fortunately for me, I had just the thing to give me my energy back. I rummaged around in my bag until I found an red, juicy apple. Then, as quickly as I took it out, I managed to devour it in five large bites.
"Phew..."
I let out a small exhale. That was really satisfying. Food always tastes better when you're super hungry. Oh, speaking of food, Pops said that he was going to take care of the berries at the field again. I wonder if he'd mind if I helped myself to a few...?
...
...Gah!
I quickly shook my head. I didn't have time to think about stuff like this. I think the bell is about to ring, too. With my body full of renewed energy from the apple I just ate, I made a final sprint towards the school. Just as I had passed through the gate, I heard the bell go off. Hah! I had made it just in time! A triumphant smile formed on my beak as I looked up. However, when I did, my smile instantly turned into a frown as soon as I saw who was waiting for me.
"Well, well, well. If it isn't the troublemaker."
...Vice Principal Watchog. He was standing in front of the stairway that led to the other facilities here. He was glaring at me with those creepy eyes of his and with his arms crossed.
"It appears as though you're the last one to arrive. I suppose I must give you some form of credit - you did arrive on time, after all, even if it was just by a couple of seconds.
"..."
Mr. Watchog continued to speak. "Now, as I was telling the rest of the class before you arrived, I'll be the one teaching for the day. I've prepared a special lesson for you all, so I expect you to be on your best behavior! No shenanigans from you, you got that?!" he shouted in a screechy tone.
I nodded and replied with a simple "Yes, sir". Geez, what a pain. I managed to get here on time and I still end up getting yelled at?
"Well if you understand, take your seat already! We don't have all day, you know!" he said as he pointed to my seat.
I didn't wanna hold the class up any more than I already did, so I did as I was told and walked over to my seat. But seriously...I really wasn't in the mood to deal with Mr. Watchog so early in the morning.
Once I sat down, Mr. Watchog made his way to the podium. He cleared his throat in a dramatic fashion before starting with the lesson.
The day went on with Mr. Watchog teaching his "special lesson," though I wasn't really paying attention. Every time he taught the class, I usually ended up zoning out. I prefer when the Principal or Nurse Audino taught. Heck, even Mr. Farfetch'd wasn't too bad, once you got used to his strictness.
...
Well, whatever. Nothing I could do about it. Just have to wait until the day was over. Then I could get outta this place and...hmm? What do I wanna do after school lets out? Eh, I'm sure I'll figure it out.
Hmm...Oh!
Now that I think about it, I never got the chance to speak with any of my classmates this morning. I turned to my left and saw Goomy, who seemed to be listening intently to Mr. Watchog. Heh, at least one of us was interest in what he was saying. Then I looked back at the row directly behind us and saw Deerling and Espurr listening as well, which is what I was expecting. Those two were the top students here, after all. Finally, at the very back of the class, I saw Pancham and Shelmet, who looked like they were whispering to one another. Seeing them like that caused a quiet giggle to escape from me. I was honestly sorta glad I wasn't the only one who wasn't paying attention. However, Pancham ended up catching me staring, which caused him to send me a nasty glare. Before I could react, I heard shouting from up front.
"Hey! Eyes up front, Nozomi!" Mr. Watchog shouted.
"...!"
I jumped in surprise and quickly faced forward. Yikes...looks like I got caught red-handed.
Mr. Watchog huffed in annoyance, then returned to the lecture. I internally groaned as I slouched in my seat. Please let school be over soon...
SOME TIME LATER...
"...And that is all for today. Class is dismissed!" Mr. Watchog announced.
As soon as everyone heard that, we all waited until he was gone, then sighed in relief.
"Phew, finally...I was beginning to think the bell was never going to ring," Shelmet said.
"For real. Mr. Watchog's lessons always end up dragging, don't they?" Pancham added.
Deerling turned to the both of them and furrowed her brow. "Maybe time would go by faster if you actually listened to the lesson instead of goofing off like always."
"H-hey! We weren't goofing off, we were just...chatting with each other!" Shelmet replied.
Espurr, who was listening to the conversation, turned around and chimed in. "I believe that's still considered goofing off, you two," she said with the same neutral expression she always seems to have.
Pancham then furrowed his brow and pointed at me. "Well, what about Nozomi? She was zoning out the entire time! Mr. Watchog even called her out for it!"
"...?!"
I was a little taken aback by him bringing me up all of a sudden, though I really shouldn't have been surprised. Him and Shelmet haven't exactly been the nicest to me.
Deerling briefly turned and glared at me, then back at the boys. "All three of you need to start taking school more seriously! School is important for our futures, after all!" she said.
Yeesh...Deerling can be a little scary when she gets upset. I mean, I gets what she's saying, but...It's not like I'm trying to zone out or anything. School can just be so boring sometimes...and there's tons of other stuff that I'd rather be doing!
Pancham and Shelmet both flinched at Deerling's harsh tone and nodded their heads.
"Alright, alright. We get it! Can please just drop this now?" Shelmet asked.
Deerling stared at the pair for a few more seconds before letting out a small huff and changing the subject.
"Fine...we should all get going soon, anyway."
Goomy, who was uninvolved in that entire conversation, finally spoke.
"Mm-hmm! We're still going to play together, right, Deerling?" he asked.
Deerling turned to him and nodded. "Of course! C'mon, let's go," she said as she and Goomy both left their seats. "See you all tomorrow!"
"See you!" Goomy added.
Once the two of them said their goodbyes, they both walked down the slope that led to the gate and left the school. When they were gone, Pancham and Shelmet left their seats and started walking to the exit, too.
"Alright, we're outta here. Let's get going, Shelmet," Pancham said.
"Y-yeah!" Shelmet replied, following closely behind.
Once those two left, it was just me and Espurr. It looked like she was about to leave, as well.
Hmm...I wonder if she'd wanna hang out with me. Probably not, but it still wouldn't hurt to ask.
I approached her while she was gathering her belongings and stood in front of her. She slowly looked up and noticed me standing there.
"Hmm? What is it, Nozomi?"
Well, here goes nothing...
...
"Oh? You'd like the two of us to spend time together?" she repeated, seemingly surprised.
I nodded my head.
She thought about it for a moment, then shook her head.
"I appreciate the offer, but I have some things to take care of as soon as I leave here. I'm sorry," she said.
I dejectedly lowered my head and sighed softly. I figured she'd say no, but it still sucks.
"But..."
"...!"
"I suppose it wouldn't hurt to walk to the plaza together," she said.
Wait, really?!
"Well? What do you say?"
I couldn't help but give her a wide grin as I vigorously nodded my head.
"Very well, then. Come on, let's go," Espurr said as she gathered the last of her belongings and started walking off. I eagerly followed her and the two of us walked together on the school path. We made some small talk with each other, but didn't really talk about anything in particular. Espurr seems like she'd be difficult to approach, but she's actually pretty nice. Walking with her was turned out to be fun.
Eventually, the two of us made it to the plaza. Once we got there, though, Espurr turned and looked at me.
"Well, we're here. This is where we part ways for the time being," she said.
Yeah...I guess so. Oh well. It was fun while it lasted.
I nodded and stood in place so I could see Espurr off.
"It was nice talking with you, Nozomi. I'll see you tomorrow," she said with a smile small.
I smiled back at her and watched her walk off, but after taking a few steps, she suddenly stopped and turned back to me.
"Hmm...?"
...Wha-?
Espurr stared at me without saying anything. I stared back at her with a combination of surprise and confusion expressed on my face. Was something the matter...?
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Espurr finally spoke.
"Nozomi? Are you...?" she started.
"...?"
Huh? Am I what? What is she talking about?
"Hmm..."
She sighed and gave me a small shrug. "Er, no, it's nothing. Never mind."
...Huh? What was that about? What was she going to say?
However, before I could pry for details, she spoke once again.
"I'll be going now. I'll see you tomorrow."
And with that, Espurr walked away, leaving me very confused about what just happened. What in the world was that about...?
...
Well, thinking about it now won't do me any good. Since school's out, I finally have the chance to actually do something fun! Let's see, what should I...
*GROWL*
...Eh?
I looked down to see where that noise came from. It was my belly. It was growling like crazy! Oh, yeah. Now that I think about it, I only ate an apple today, didn't I? In that case, I guess doing something in the village could wait for a bit. I should go home and eat some dinner. Pops said that there were still leftovers from last night, right? That should be more than enough. Alright, then. Let's get going!
With my appetite steadily growing, I ran home where Pops would be more than likely be waiting for me. I'll come inside and we'll eat dinner together. Heh, he'll probably be surprised seeing me home earlier than usual. Well, I guess it'll be a way for me to make up for rushing out this morning. I can't wait!

Sick Day (Peter Maximoff x reader)
Description: when you come down with a cold, Peter decides to take care of you
A/N: I wrote this fic for @spider-starry (sorry it took so long to finish 😭) enjoy <3
Warnings: mentions of being sick, hurt/comfort, that's it I think
Peter had been looking for you all day. When you didn't show up to breakfast, he brushed it off, thinking maybe you'd just slept in late or were catching up on some school work. His mood quickly changed, however, when he noticed you hadn't shown up to any of your classes.
By lunchtime his usually calm demeanor had been taken over by worry as he zoomed around the school, checking the classrooms and grounds alike. He was so wrapped up in finding you he ended up running into Jubilee, quite literally.
"Hey! Watch where you're going!"
"Sorry, Jubilee." He quickly apologized before asking her if she knew where you were.
"I think they mentioned something last night about not feeling too well, and earlier I heard loud coughing coming from their room."
"Okay, thanks," he called over his shoulder as he zoomed off to your room.
When he got there, he knocked lightly on your door so as not to disturb you. Upon hearing your raspy voice call out "come in", he gently pushed the door open and entered your room.
Inside, it was a lot worse than he thought. The entire room was covered head to toe with what could safely be called nothing other than a giant mess.
Dirty piles of clothes were thrown in a heap on the floor, and crumpled tissues were clumped together on your nightstand. Random garbage from snack food items, such as chips, cookies, and candy, littered the foot of your bed, and empty soda cans seemed to be standing in line by the trash can, almost as if they were mocking you for missing it completely when you went to throw them away.
At first, he thought you were somewhere else, and that he'd just heard things, but this theory was quickly disproven when the lump on the bed began to move around, leading him to realize the lump was, in fact, you.
You had barricaded yourself under a pile of pillows and blankets, trying to sleep off a nasty cold when you'd heard a knock on your door. You invited whoever it was in, thinking it might be one of the teachers with your homework, and started moving around once you'd heard the door open.
Lifting your head up just far enough to see who was standing there, you let out a groan when you realized it was Peter, your boyfriend.
"Go away, I'm sick," you said, hiding your face under the blanket again.
"I know, that's why I came to see you. I was worried."
"Well, clearly I'm fine. I haven't died yet, so you can stop worrying and go." You pointed towards the door as you tried to convince him to leave.
"No can do, I'm not going anywhere until I make sure you're feeling better again," he said, walking over to where you were laying and sitting on the bed near your feet, accidentally crushing a half eaten bag of Lay's in the process.
"Don't look at me, I'm ill. I feel gross," you mumbled.
"Maybe you'd feel better if you took a shower," he suggested.
"Maybe. It has been a few days since I've last had one."
"Okay, how about this: you go take a shower, and while you do that I can pick up the stuff in your room for you," he offered.
You looked up at him. "Really? You'd do that for me?"
"Of course, I would." He planted a soft kiss on your forehead. "Now c'mon, get up so I can get your bed cleaned off and I won't have to worry about sitting on a bag of chips again."
You let out a small laugh, bringing a smile to his face. After getting out of the plush barricade you made on your bed for yourself, you grabbed some clean clothes and headed into the bathroom to take a shower.
Thirty minutes later, you left the bathroom, wearing the clothes you'd picked out. You found Peter'd cleaned almost your entire room (minus the mess that was already there before you got sick); not that you'd expected anything less of your favorite speedster.
"Hey," he greeted, having zoomed back after getting rid of at least three garbage bags that you could only assume held all the trash that once littered your bedroom.
"Hey," you said back, walking over to him and pressing a kiss against his cheek. "Thanks for cleaning for me, I really owe you one."
"Nah, it was no biggie," he said, his face flushed at your sudden and unexpected show of affection. "Enjoy your shower?"
"Yeah, I did. I don't feel as bad as before, so that's a plus." You flopped on your bed, sighing contentedly while you stared at the ceiling. "Now, I feel like I need a nap."
You turned on your side and opened your arms, inviting him to join you. He did, climbing next to you on the bed and snuggling up against your side.
"Thanks for helping me feel better today," you said. "I really love you, you know that?"
"Yeah, I know," he responded, to which you playfully hit him on the arm. "I was joking! Don't worry, I love you, too."

Beelzebub's Very Bad No Good Day
***So this is the new format in which I'll be answering requests. In my experience, actual posts get spread further than asks do, so this will hopefully help with that. ANYWAY, I am crazy excited about this request as a major Beel simp and YES I will proudly do this request! Thank you @sinnoman for blessing me with it. -B*** Summary: Beel doesn't get anything to eat one day, and it doesn't go well for anybody.
From the moment Beelzebub woke up, he knew that today was going to be a terrible day. For starters, he had apparently raided the fridge in his sleep the night before, so there was not a crumb left in the house for anyone to make breakfast with. Most of the others had gone and grabbed something from Hell's Kitchen on their way to class, but poor Beel had slept through his alarm due to the food coma his nighttime snack had put him in and had to rush to RAD. The entire school was talking about the monster that they believed had awoken beneath the school. Teachers were on edge ready to evacuate the premises for the earthquake they believed to be happening. Beel avoided eye contact, blushing as his empty stomach continued to rumble and roar throughout the day. He ended up eating a few pencils just to get it to quiet down and even that didn't have much effect. The Avatar of Gluttony nearly cried tears of relief when the lunch bell rang. But it seemed that fate was not his friend that day. He was going to order a gargantuan-sized Little Devil mango slushy, a side of Hellfire curry rice, fried shadow bat, and 108 seed salad and the main course of at least twenty shadow hog burgers with three servings of caramel shadow tart for dessert. Beel was drooling at just the thought of it. He was almost at the ordering station when he felt a hand on his shoulder. Beel growled and turned around, baring his teeth at whoever dared to disturb him.
Belphegor narrowed his eyebrows in concern. "Woah. Beel, relax. It's just me. We've got a student council meeting, and Lucifer has threatened to take away supper from whoever skips out." Beelzebub scoffed as the air around him darkened at the mention of someone taking food away from him. "I'd like to see him try." Belphie raised an eyebrow at his twin's uncharacteristically grumpy behaviour. "Are you alright, Beel?" As though to answer his question, Beel's stomach let out another loud roar, causing several students to flinch and Beel to scowl in frustration. "I'm hungry." Belphie's frown deepened. Beel was always hungry, but he didn't usually let it get to him like this. The younger twin rifled through his own bag before pulling out an obviously full paper bag. "You can have my lunch if you want. I ate a little bit of it during class and swiped a bagel from Mammon during the first period, so I'm not all that-" Before he could finish Beel ripped the bag out of Belphie's hands and devoured it, bag and all. Belphie blinked at his now empty hand and chuckled as Beel chewed. "Man, you must be starving huh?"
Beelzebub merely grunted and continued to chew before swallowing down the small meal. He glanced back at the lineup in the cafeteria and put a hand on his stomach as he thought about the lunch he should be enjoying. Belphie nudged him. "Come on, big guy. We got to get to that meeting. The sooner we get it over with, the more likely it is that we'll end early and you might be able to grab something before class starts again." Only the meeting was not short and quick like Belphie had said it might be. Diavolo wanted everyone to come up with an idea for a school fundraiser, and Lucifer was arguing with Asmodeus on what was and was not appropriate. To make matters worse, you were unable to attend as, according to Mammon, your charms professor had asked you to stay behind afterwards to discuss your progress in the class. The bickering on top of the lack of food in his stomach was giving Beel a migraine and the longer he sat there, the more irritable he had become. Eventually, it became too much and he snapped. "ENOUGH!" he bellowed, flipping the table as he stood. "No one cares about the stupid fundraiser anyway and you're just wasting all of our time arguing over something that will inevitably fall apart and cause an even bigger mess, just like it always does!" "Beelzebub! Watch your tone in front of-" "Shut it, Lucifer!" his brother's gaped at him in shock as he snarled at their elder. "I am sick and tired of you pushing us all around and punishing us when the slightest thing goes wrong just because you-" Beel poked Lucifer's chest hard enough to make him take a step back, "won't take responsibility for your own mistakes!" "Oh shit," Mammon whispered under his breath, as Lucifer's eyes narrowed and his body tensed in defence. The second-born quickly squeezed his way between the two of them and spread his arms to try and create some distance. "Okay! Tensions are high. People are upset. But this is not the place to brawl it out." he glanced over at Lucifer who looked like he was a second away from stringing him up to the ceiling. "Might I remind ya Lord Diavolo is still in the room?" Lucifer looked over at Diavolo, who appeared to be both hurt and concerned by Beelzebub's words, before sighing and fixing his composure. He gave Beel a hard look. "Obviously something is upsetting you, but we can discuss this at home. For the time being, I recommend you work on calming yourself and clearing your head." Beel just growled at him before stomping out of the student council room. He had been about to re-enter the cafeteria again when the bell rang signalling the end of lunch hour. Beelzebub felt his eye twitch before his demon form burst into existence. He let out a deafening scream as he grabbed a table and threw it across the room (students still seated on it, included). Students were yelling and scrambling like mice as the large demon rampaged through the halls. He tore the locked grate off of the serving station and grabbed the nearest server by the scruff of the collar, causing them to squeak in fear. "I'm hungry," Beel rumbled lowly as the demon trembled in his hands. "Get me something to eat now or I will not hesitate to eat you." "R-R-Right away, Beelzeb-b-bub." Beel carelessly dropped the demon, who scattered off to gather as much food as they could. He began pacing like a caged animal. Having been alerted by all the noise, his brothers and Diavolo rushed into the nearly destroyed cafeteria. Diavolo's jaw dropped. "Beelzebub, what's the meaning of all this?" Beel's famished brain didn't acknowledge Diavolo as an authority at the moment. Instead, he was yet another person trying to keep him from eating. "I need food. NOW!" Lucifer's eyes widened in realization as he whispered something to Diavolo. The prince nodded and took a step back. "I'm sure the cooks are doing all they can to get you food right away. But I need you to control yourself before I am forced to take action." Satan had his phone out and was urgently texting someone, as Belphie moved forward.
"You'll get your food shortly Beel. You just need to wai-" "I don't want to wait!!" There was a part of Beelzebub's brain that was aware he was acting like a child. But his stomach physically hurt from how empty it was. He was tired. He was starving. He didn't have the patience for pleasantries. "I've barely eaten anything all day, and people keep staring and talking about me because my stomach just will not stop growling and I'm so hungry that I can barely think straight! I hate it! But I know it won't go away unless I eat, so I NEED TO EAT!" The brothers looked at Beel in shock. They knew that he ate a lot, but they always passed it off as just another quirk that made him Beel. They didn't know it bothered him like this. They thought back on all the instances where Beel had stated that he was hungry out of nowhere, always with a distressed look on his face. Every single time they had brushed him off. Before any of them could respond, you casually walked into the war zone that was the cafeteria. "Alright Satan, what's so urgent that you needed me so badly?" The room fell quiet as everyone's attention snapped over to you and you took in the situation. It didn't take long for you to connect the dots.
You immediately began to rush over to Beelzebub; Mammon stepped forward to stop you. "Woah, MC! I don't think that's a good idea right now!"
You ignored him and continued to make your way to Beel. Seeing you, the small human that you were, made Beel realize just how reckless he had been acting. He held out his hands to stop you and took a step away. "You should listen to Mammon, MC. I-I haven't eaten all day and I-" "You haven't eaten all day?! Oh god, this is worst than I thought." Beel watched as you slid the oversized backpack that he had seen you carry around RAD with you every day off your back and begin to dump out the contents. In a second, dozens of bags of chips, candy, fruits, and other snacks spilled across the floor in front of the two of you. Beel didn't waste a single moment. He instantly began consuming the snacks, causing you to smile happily. "Wha-What?! MC?! Why the hell do you have that much food on ya?!" Mammon sputtered as he cautiously began to approach you. You shrugged. "Beel gets upset when he's hungry, and I don't like it when he's upset. So I stocked up on some of his favourite snacks a while back and always keep them on me just in case," Beel paused his eating to look up at you in awe, "He can't help that he's always hungry. It's not like he asked to be the Avatar of Gluttony." Suddenly there were a pair of arms wrapped around your waist. Lucifer, Levi, and Mammon called out your name as Beel pulled you tightly against his chest. You just grinned and hugged the friendly giant back. "Thank you," he whispered softly into your hair, his arms tightening around you just a little more. "There's nothing to thank me for." As Beel finally began to calm down, the cooks came out with platters of food and shakily laid them out around you and Beel before taking cover back into the kitchen. Seeing that the threat had passed, the other brothers began to approach as well. "You know Beel, I didn't know you had that much pent-up anger inside of you. It was terrifying!" Asmodeus chirped as he plopped down beside the two of you.
"Yeah! You were just like the antagonist in My Boyfriend Turned Into a Cannabilistic Rage Monster, And Now I Have to Stop Him From Devouring The Whole City!!!" Levi began to ramble about specific scenes from the show that matched perfectly with Beel's rampage, causing Beel to blush as he munched on a burger. Belphie sighed and elbowed Beel as he took his seat at his side. "We'll have to make sure that MC's always around you. Just in case you know?" he smiled softly, before looking at his twin with a more serious expression. "You should've told me about all that stuff you said earlier. I had no idea you felt that away about your appetite." Beel looked away uncomfortably as he took another bite of his food and avoided the question. You snuggled closer to him, to provide him with some comfort. Satan tapped his chin as he watched the group. "I'm sure we could talk with Barbatos and come up with some sort of high-protein shake or bar that would better satisfy you. That way you wouldn't have to eat as much." Lucifer glanced over at Diavolo, silently asking if it was a possibility. The prince smiled warmly. "I'll have Barabatos begin working on something right away." Forgetting all about class and the anger that had previously consumed him, Beel looked around at his family. A warm feeling blossomed in his stomach as he felt content with the rare care and affection that they were openly showing. Maybe it had something to do with the thirty burgers he had already ate, but for just a second, Beel didn't feel so hungry anymore. ***Boy that got a little angsty there for a second, but I hope this was to your liking @sinnoman! 𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐘 𝐌𝐄𝐀𝐋𝐒.
Tw// eating disorder.
I was thinking of how I skip meals and stuff while studying, but still people could comment on how a certain way my body has gotten. So,,,yeah. Just wanted to write a blurb on that.
Eating meals thrice a day's fun thing, kiddos.
Harry's busy with album, well you with uni to the point you've no spare time to take care of yourself. You just wakes up giving a haste kiss to him, rush to university because you were studying all last night in the guest room not to disturb him knowing how half of limps he comes back from the studio. When you're back at home he's at the studio again and you straight away flops into your sheets without eating anything, then you again get up from your nap have a bit of snack and the routine goes on for irritatingly exhausting loop.
Else when Harry's not too busy in work he checks upon you while your nose's in books, he brings you snacks. green apples. your favourite chocolates. cack-buns. whatever he could steal from refrigerator. He clings to you until you don't end up taking a break pouting adorably, "what'd ye' do without me hu? starve yourself." So you always end up giving in.
When he becomes your tutor for the mean time and it all has one ending; that's him quenching out many orgasms from you while you thrash in his lap, him fuckin' you raw because he has missed your warmth too passion, him teasing you not letting you focus on what you're studying. That's the worst one from all of the above because when he does that he doesn't stop and it drives you insane.
When sometimes you're too stubborn he grabs you by ankles making you squeal in amusement and throws you on his shoulder to drag you to the nearest diner and swear you look like panda wearing his tattered t-shirt and pyjamas.
He doesn't let you sit in another room and study alone, whining that he couldn't sleep without you in his arms and he used to sleep on you listening to the buzz of whatever you were reading, cheek smashed against your tummy arms coiled around your waist.
That indeed caused you weakened eyesight from focusing under the night lamp. But, you loved it how he always tried to make you stick to him now he couldn't you miss him and his care.
Dinners long forgotten. In breakfast you eat cereal in the same bowl Harry did moments ago before leaving you have time for nothing, and in lunch you fill your system with cold coffees.
Now. You were free after your exams hanging out with your classfellows for few hours before going home and seep into your sheets for two damn days.
"Looks like you gained weight, during this semester." One of your classmates told you with a weird pull of her brows and you chuckled nervously not knowing what to say, the plastic cup of cold mocha in your hand getting sweaty.
"Pfft. She looks fine. This one was hectic for all of us. Y/n you look great." There's a huge lie under it because you look sodden and emotionally traumatised, you know it people don't need to butter things up for you.
You excused yourself from the hangout. You looked at delcious mocha with watering mouth and yearning gaze but you gave it to the homeless little girl in your way considered how many carbs it contains.
You rambled to yourself. Muttering under your breath what you'd have said to her. 'Maybe beacuse I'm happy and when you're happy your heart makes more blood. Maybe I'm hanging out with my friends more often eating to my fullest and maybe I enjoy having late night snacks with my boyfriend.'
But you were doing none of that so you couldn't have said that to her.
When you stepped inside your home it was smelling appetizing, again watering your mouth and making your stomach growl loudly.
When you padded inside Harry was making pasta for you in the kitchen singing a melody to himself most probably of his album. He's glowing from hanging out with his friends, writing songs, and singing them whole day at studio but you're not you feel miserable.
At some point you had thought of dropping out and end this shit for real but looking forward to Harry. How he faces every hardship and never gives up, you did not too. You're always gonna idolise him.
Harry notices your presence and he wide spreads his arms for you to just cuddle into him. Wooden spatula in his hand and he grins brightly at you, "c'mere puppy. made pasta fo' m'girl." You didn't felt like eating it. Not because you're not hungry. You're fucking starving but your stomach has gotten accustomed to be empty all the time that it's feeling like a mission to fill it.
"M'not hungry. Had lunch already." You muttered lying to him walking past him to your shared room and his brows rocketed to his forehead surprised that you didn't fled in his arms as you usually do, not even a peck on his cheek, not an appreciation that you'd eat it after your nap.
You're a bit cranky, stressed and all over the place. You don't want to take it all out in him because you know you'd say mean things just as "I missed you so much, but all you cared was to enjoy yourself with your friends and make songs with them." . "Duh. Only if I could be a singer who doesn't needs to do anything." Or "you didn't once checked upon me." Because you know that would be your nonsensical words but it would really hurt him.
Not changing into comfortable clothes you dived into your sheets sleeping on your stomach. Harry felt alone and sad even though you guys aren't being that close for months despite of some quick sex in shower and when you or him badly needs a release.
He didn't even touched his home made pasta putting it in container and storing it into fridge. His ears perked up at your moans, only realizing that those were moans of pain. You were groaning in your sleep from the headache and cold sweat breaking all over you, you're feeling nauseous even in your sleep too.
Harry was by your side resting his hand atop your shoulder and he found you bathed into sweat, pulling his bottom lip he frowned running his thumb in circles at the nape of your neck.
It's so unlike of you. To not change and brush your hair before going to bed. He turned you around, "shh. sh. baby 's me Harry." He whispered when you whimpered snuggling your face to his folded thigh and tucking your hands in between your own thighs like a sandwich.
He stroked your blazed flushed cheeks with the back of his index finger. Taking in the slightest of features that looks worn out, he really missed you and he kinda feels bad that he got so engulfed into everything that he forgot to check if you're okay.
He pecked your lips removing duvet from over you changing your clothes only leaving you in your panties and your favourite rolling stone shirt of his's. He massaged your soles and ankles a timid smile creeping at his lips at the memory how he used to give you head and back massages. He missed being by your side too.
It was past midnight and you were still into deep sleep. Concerned Harry gently tapped your shoulders kissing your forehead, "bubba. wake up darlin' you haven't eaten anything." Only if Harry knew how it has become a routine.
You woke up with little yawns and cute rubs of eyes making your Harry giggle and shower you in his loud wet kisses. The storm had yet to come. When your eyes fell over your clothes anxiety ignited in all of your body and you pushed him not even glimpesing at the awfully hurt eyes he got after that.
You quickly covered yourself with duvet with wide eyes stuttering, "why did you changed my clothes." You don't want him to look at you when you're so out of shape and not feeling physically appreciative in yourself even though you're exactly how you were before.
This's what happens when someone puts the seed of insecurities inside you.
Harry did what he has been doing the whole day, frowned in confusion he doesn't want to think you're done with him and doesn't loves him anymore but it's flickering through his mind.
"M'sorry, jus' thought that I always used to change you. You wouldn't mind." At this you strewned your lip inside not to cry at your situation how do you tell him what you're feeling?
He fumbled with his rings. Shaking your head you stood up but a train of dizziness making you knock your knees with the beds foot and Harry was on his feet wrapping you in his arms.
"You need to eat. m'not takin' any excuses. When was the last time you ate?" He was furious at you. He doesn't care if you push him this time too. He loves you too much to let you ruin your health like this. When even you forgot that what was the last time you ate a proper meal He shook his head in exasperation.
The door to ensuite bathroom was open wide as he sat a tray of pasta and two plates infront of you, his head craned in your direction as you examined yourself in the bright lit mirror.
Pinching your slightest pouch then turning a little to have a proper look of yourself. Harry didn't said anything he just observed you joining the dots clearing his throat, "come to me, pet." He made space for you and you tried to give him a smile that came out wavering.
Eating in silence. After, so much time it feels like eating a proper meal's a blessing but you couldn't eat much giving it to Harry and he took it from you kissing your head.
"Sorry." You mumbled and he stood taking the trays with himself raising his finger in air gesturing you to wait.
He waddled back not thinking twice and taking you in his arms, burying his nose into your hair as you did into his sweater cuddling closer to him.
"I know you're not feelin' good. Bad days happens with all of us." His lips lingered over your hair and he's missing the usual smell of your shampoo. He smoothed down your arms and it's the proper cuddle you're sharing after so long.
"Whateva' goin' with you tell me whenev' you're ready." His finger tucks under your chin thumb circling over your softest skin.
You just wanted to let it all out but decided against it thinking you're gonna get back to normal and everything would be okay.
Sensing your hesitation just from the beats of your heart he reminded you looking you straight in your eyes, "remember. I'm gonna love you forever and always. Whateva' it takes for m'body to."
You nodded giving a chaste kiss to his lips and both of your eyes fluttered at that warmth, his fingers dipping into your hips.
Next day you were way better. Hanging out with Harry's bestest friend at café near your home, Harry has his arm slinged around your shoulder keeping you close to him as he talked joyously.
"What would you like to eat bunny? Brownie?" He asked you knowing how much you love brownies. If anyone wants to have their way to your heart it's always brownies and chocolates.
When you first started dating Harry, he knew how much you loved chocolates so he would bring a box of different chocolates with one tulip everytime he used to visit you. He used to fed those delights to you (with a kiss in return of each) so much that you had a sugar crash once which isn't your proudest moment.
You shook your head at which his friend quips, "ooooh dieting miss?" Then that same damn insecurity came back rushing to you and when you looked down then to her asking her innocently Harry's heart broke into millions pieces, realization dawning on him with a jab.
"Do you think I need to diet?" She shakes her head vigorously trying to make you understand that her intention wasn't to make you feel bad, "hey no. you're perfectly healthy I was just teasing you." You nod at her with a little "oh." and after that Harry felt you zoning out away from him emotionally.
At home on your bed while Harry rummaged through drawers for your favourite sushi socks you pondered over everything quietly, it's frustrating him. Your silence's killing him. He wants his bubbly bunny back who used to hop in excitement, who used to crack boomer jokes with him, who used to eat brownies and chocolates like it's her last sweetness.
"Bunny..." He gave a squeeze to your ankle after slipping your feet into warm socks, "talk t' me yeah? 'S killin' me." You sapped your teeth into your lower lip.
"It's been hard Harry. Very very hard." He cradles your jaw and you continued, "my head used to ache so bad while studying, eyes used to sting and I stopped eating anything...." Tears bearing at your eyeline and Harry scoots closer to you. He feels awful.
".....n' and you weren't there. I missed you so much you know...wanted to sleep in your arms after a long day...." You were full on sobbing now and Harry's own lip wobbled he can't see you crying especially when he's the reason.
"M' s' sorry baby. Such a dickhead I'm." He wipes your tears with his hands lost inside you hair and thumbs stroking the apples of your cheeks.
"Then again people had to throw it on my face that I've gained extra fats—" Harry grunted at this nose flaring, "who the fuck told ya—oh my god." His eyes enlarging and he felt so fucking remorseful that this's what you were insecure of from days.
"Listen to me y/n. You're exactly like how you were baby. Except more beautiful. Don't let any man, any woman to tell you that you're not. Don't let 'em hurt ye' bunny." He pulled you in his lap kissing your cheeks as you cried into his shoulder and he let you because you need it.
"Never hide your body from me bubba. You know that I worship it with my whole heart." He murmured and now you're full on crying with breath hitching, hiccuping like an innocent baby.
"M' an' awful person." He protested knuckles feathering your jaw, "no you're not."
"Yes I'm. You love me so much and–and I wanted to say mean hurtful things to you." You huffed at him when he smiled musingly, "because I was the one never giving my all lovin" to you how you deserve in the very first place. No' made sure you were eatin' properly or not, you know how worried I got findin' you practically drenched with sweat in bed that day? It was because of your low blood pressure."
He squeezes you in his arms, sponging light kisses at the side of your neck while you closed your eyes and he slipped his hand under your shirt tickling you hooking his thumb in your belly button.
"I'll love your soul in every body." His affectionate words soon turned into cheeky ones, "anddd yeh' know how much I like pregnant women."
You giggled at him smacking his shoulder but he captured it interlacing your fingers kissing the gap of your each knuckle.
That night. You guys made dinner together eating it with a big smile and gratefully for Harry you licked your plate clean.
"Sweets?" You asked him with a lowered gaze and a tilt of your head. He tapped his lips teasingly straddling you over his thigh and a moan fused into warm air when your lips slotted into perfect missing puzzles.
He admired. Sipped. Adored every inch of you tasting your mouth while his fingers kissed the dip of your waist and thighs.
"Hmm. Close your eyes open your mouth." He pecked your lips placing his thumb over your tongue and you obeyed closing your eyes shut.
Soon his thumb was replaced with dark sweetness and you instantly got on what he has done, immediately opening your eyes chewing the chocolate. Tangerine bursting on your tongue as the chocolate cracked open.
"Such a cute little mouth chews just like a bunny." He moans against your lips swiping at the hint of chocolate on your lower lip and you mumbled an appreciative 'thank you.' to him which was soon captured by his own mouth in the form of passionate kiss.
.
P.s: I freakin' love chocolates and this whole situation I wrote it on me because I know I've alot of people struggling through the same difficulty the thing's we've to be our own Harry.

Alone In A Crowd
1
Another slow shift. It wasn't that I didn't like the quiet here in the store, but I was bored and hungry. I took a glance at my watch and then at the door. It was 10 minutes to closing time and not a single soul had come in for the last hour. Another glance at the door as if it was telling me to wrap up the day. Another glance at my watch. Then, my stomach made loud growl and that was it. I jumped off the stool at the register and went to the room in the back to grab my stuff. Backpack hanging from one shoulder, along with my jacket and the store keys in hand. I rearranged some magazines and art catalogs before exiting, turning the lights off and locking the door behind me. One last glance at the books and records on the shelves and I made my way down the sidewalk.
Melrose Avenue was starting to get crowded with people leaving the other shops and making their way up towards the Strip to have a good time watching the bands that were playing tonight at the Roxy. But I couldn't be bothered, at least not yet. I was seeing double from the hunger and I was in dire need of a coffee. I made a beeline to the bodega and wasted no time coming in. I nodded to one of the dudes who worked there that was currently placing some chips on the stands and he nodded back. We already knew each other from all the other times I had been there, but we had never talked before, except for the few words exchanged when I was paying for my things. So, without further ado, I went straight to the coolers where they kept different types of packed sandwiches, frozen pizzas and other snacks to grab on the go, and picked two chicken salad sandwiches. They were rather small, so I instinctively knew one wouldn't be enough. I made my way back to the door and asked the lady at the counter for a large black coffee from the machine next to her. I also asked for a carton of cigarettes and a bag of Skittles. She started to pack my food in a brown paper bag while I was looking for the crumpled bills I had in the front pocket of my jeans. Just as I placed them on the glass surface, she handed me the bag and I almost ripped it in two in my attempt to start eating as soon as possible. She gave me a weird look but I shrugged it off. I haven't eaten anything since I left home this morning and I had skipped lunch to save some coin. My rent was due soon and I was short on the money. So, I just took one of the sandwiches from the plastic wrap, and I can swear I died and went back to life when I had the first bite. This fucking tiny piece of white bread, cold chicken and potatoes was indeed heavenly. And don't get me started on the coffee. It was piping hot and I burned my tongue at least 3 times, but again, I couldn't be bothered.
I was definitely taking my sweet time and so immersed in my food that I didn't realize that I haven't left the store and I was blocking the door. It was only when I felt someone tapping my shoulder and telling me to move that I came back to my senses. I lowered my head and apologized as a guy with long black hair came in and went to the freezers in the back. When he was coming back to the front I could see him better and I couldn't help to stare at him when he wasn't noticing. He was taller than me and looked like Johnny Thunders. I've seen a couple of guys like that before, but this one was in fact really handsome. His face was long and angular and he had a fine nose with a ring on it.
Although he seemed troubled by something and I saw why when he moved his hair out of his face when he was looking for something in his pockets. He had a huge black eye and it was starting to swell. He was cursing under his breath and I also saw why. He wanted to buy a bag of frozen beans to probably put on his face but he couldn't find his money. Whatever the case, I don't know what came into me, maybe the fact that he was cute and I was still malnourished and felt drunk even though I was sober as a rock, but I grabbed his arm.
"Hey, don't worry. I got you", I said to him as I placed my bag on the counter for a second and then gave the lady in front of us the change she had just given me a couple of minutes ago. He looked at me with a thankful expression and smiled. It was at that moment that I felt my knees become jelly and my insides melt. But I kept my composure, at least on the outside, or so I thought. "Thank you, I owe you one", he said. "It's okay, don't worry. Hope you feel better soon!", I replied and smiled back at him before turning on my heel and exiting the small establishment.

Sunshine- JJ Maybank
( not my gif!)
hi girl 💕 i was hoping you’d be interested in doing another jj x reader? Where JJ finds her hidden, having a panic attack and it takes a little bit to calm her down? 52, 84, 92, 125 , 152 were the numbers I picked but if there’s too many or you can’t make them all work, you can pick whichever. 💜
Word count: 1,552
Summary: JJ finds you having a panic attack and is right by your side to help you calm down.
Prompts:
52. “Hey, hey, calm down. They can’t hurt you anymore.”
84. “Take your medicine.”
92. “I feel like I can’t breathe.”
125. “Don’t do anything stupid, I’m gonna help you.”
152. “It happened again.”
17 years. 17 years of constant arguments between your parents that ended with screaming and cussing. 17 years of flinching everytime a door slammed. 17 years of wondering if it would end with violence or a drunk mother and/or father.
There was one person who stayed by your side those entire 17 years, your best friend JJ Maybank. JJ was your neighbor since you two were in diapers, becoming his best friend after he asked you if you would like to go to the local playground to go collect bugs for his insect tank. He was always there for you no matter what the issue was, whether it be a boy who broke your heart, your parents arguing, hell even if you had cramps he would be over in a minute with snacks and medicine for the pain.
JJ knew you more than you knew yourself; he knew when you were stressed, he knew when you haven't eaten, he knew if you needed to leave a situation, he always knew if you didn't take your medication. He was always on top of you with your medication for your anxiety. Everyday at 3 p.m. and he wasn't with you, he would call or text you to make sure you took the pills.
He was the reason you were still alive and functioning, the reason you were still smiling even with everything you were facing. He was there right by your side holding your hand when you went to your first therapy session. He was there for you when you had your first panic attack. JJ was the ray of sunshine in the tunnel of darkness that suffocated you.
It was 5 in the morning when you first heard the shouts of your parents. Their screams echoed through the halls, slamming against the sound of the closed bathroom door. You sat in the bathtub, knees pulled up to your chest as you rested your head on your arms. You rocked back and forth softly trying to catch your breath as it felt like the walls were closing in.
Squeezing your eyes shut, you clamped your hands over your ears as you heard a harsh slapping sound and a broken cry escape your mother's lips. The feeling of a cement block slowly felt like it was pushing on your chest, making it feel like your throat closed up with each breath you took. "It's okay, I'm okay." You quietly repeated to yourself, trying to trick yourself into believing it.
You opened your eyes, quickly shutting them again when you saw black splotches in the air; like when you rub your eyes too hard and you see the white spots in the back of your mind. You were too focused on trying to calm yourself down, you didn't notice the door slamming twice signaling that both your parents left you alone in the house.
JJ was out in his backyard hearing the whole thing, eyes trained on your house praying that you were okay. As soon as he saw your parents storm out the front door he hopped over his fence and ran straight into your house. Panic was written on his face as he checked every room in the house, not seeing any sign of you. He checked your bedroom to see messed up sheets and your prescription medication on your night stand.
He ran to the bathroom directly across the hall to hear your broken whimpers coming from inside. He didn't want to burst into the room, knowing that would only make your panic attack worse. He gently knocked on the door, feeling panicked when you didn't answer in any way. He opened the door to see an empty bathroom, but he quickly realized you were sitting in the bathtub. Pulling the curtain back, his heart shattered seeing you in such a distressed state.
You popped your head up at the sound of the curtain moving, afraid your parents found you there. You instantly felt a wave of relief rush through your body, but you still felt like you were frozen in fear. "I feel like I can't breathe." You stuttered, still feeling the crushing weight on your chest. He quickly got down on his knees to become face to face with you. He slowly reached his hand out and held onto your shoulders, waiting for you to allow him to hug you.
You turned your body towards him and that's when he knew he could hug you. He wrapped his arm around your waist, the other holding the back of your head; entangling itself in your hair. Tucking your face into the crook of your neck, you felt as if you could slowly start to breathe again. "It happened again." You mumbled, attempting to stop your body from shaking. He pressed a kiss to your forehead before slowly pulling back.
“Hey, hey, calm down. They can’t hurt you anymore." He pressed his forehead against yours, placing your hand on his chest, right on top of his heart. "Follow my breathing, okay? In… out… in… out… there we go, sunshine." You repeated his actions, feeling your lungs inhale the air properly. The heavy weight was no longer on your chest, leaving a small aching feeling.
“Don’t do anything stupid, I’m gonna help you," he said, "I'll be right back." You swallowed harshly, realizing how dry your mouth had gotten. You wiped away the stray tears with the back of your hand and blew your nose with toilet paper before JJ came back with your pill bottle and a glass of water.
“Take your medicine.” He instructed, passing you a pill into your hand. You sighed loudly before looking up at JJ. He gave you a look you knew all too well. It was the 'Please take this before I have to forcefully cram it down your throat' look that he's been giving you since you first got the prescription. You tossed the pill into your mouth, quickly chugging the glass of water. You fanned yourself with your hands, body feeling hot from feeling so claustrophobic.
"Hot?" He asked, sitting on the lid of the toilet. You nodded your head, running your hand through your hair to push it out of your face. "You trust me?" He asked you as he stood up. You nodded your head, "of course." "Okay, just sit there but scoot forwards." You obeyed him as scooted towards the front of the tub, your eyelids feeling heavy.
JJ slowly turned the faucet on and plugged the tub, allowing it to begin to fill with cold water. You instantly relaxed at the cool touch, softly grinning as you saw JJ take his shoes off before stepping into the tub behind you. You reached forward and shut the water off once it reached up to your thighs. JJ rested against the back wall, allowing you to lay yourself between his legs, your back pressed against his chest. His arms reached around your front as he looped his fingers on top of yours. Your body shivered as he pressed a soft kiss to the back of your neck.
"You are my sunshine, my only sunshine." He started softly singing, earning a soft giggle from you. "You make me happy when skies are gray." You sang with him, letting the feeling of happiness overcome your emotions. "You never know dear, how much I love you." You tilted your head back against his chest, fluttering your eyes shut as he pecked your forehead. "Please don't take my sunshine away."
You could feel your heartbeat find a steady pace once again as you surrounded yourself in JJ's touch. He rested his cheek on the top of your head, smiling to himself as he heard you sigh in relief. "You okay princess?" He whispered into your ear, triggering a patch of goosebumps to appear on your arms.
"Is it okay if I go get us some dry clothes?" You nodded your head as JJ carefully exited the tub, grabbing a towel to dry his lower half off. You stretched your body out in the tub, letting the cool water splash against your torso. JJ went to your closet, immediately taking his extra clothes he leaves there for nights like this one. He picked out shorts and a shirt for you to sleep in, hoping it would be comfortable enough for you.
He walked back towards the bathroom, passing you a towel and your dry clothes. You two faced away from each other as you both quickly changed out of your clothes. You giggled as JJ almost fell over trying to put his shorts on, hearing him grunt in annoyance at his action.
Being too lazy to put your clothes in the washer, you left your clothes in the bathtub along with JJ's. You led him to your room, closing the door before you threw yourself onto your bed. JJ turned the bedroom lights off before joining you in bed, carefully tucking the sheets around your body. You faced him, your eyes slowly shutting as JJ held the side of your face, his thumb delicately skimming your cheek.
"Goodnight, sunshine." You mumbled, angling your head to kiss the palm of his hand. He smiled at you with an adoring look in his eyes, "goodnight, princess."

Adam's POV
I'm in my car on the way to Y/N's house. She called me and asked me to come over because she wasn't feeling good. We were supposed to hang out today so I don't mind going over if it helps her feel better.
On my way to Y/N's house, I stop to pick up a few things. I grab over the counter medicine, tissues in case she has a runny nose, a heating blanket, a few of her favorite snacks, and a few different drinks. I'm going to make sure she's very taken care of.
As I pull onto her street, my phone begins to ring. I put it on speaker and say, "Adam Cole speaking."
"Adam," Y/N says, coughing slightly. "Are you almost here?"
I smile and say, "Right down the street. I have a few things for you too."
Her voice is hoarse as she says, "Yay. Hurry up. I want to see you."
"Two minutes, Y/N," I say. "I'll be there soon."
The line goes dead and I sigh softly. I don't like seeing Y/N sick. If she's not feeling good then I want to make sure I'm there for her. She lives alone and her parents are almost across the country so I'm it for her. Well, me and the Undisputed Era boys. We're her family.
The boys have been making sure my little secret doesn't get to Y/N either. I've had feelings for Y/N for months, and they're the only ones that know.
I finally pull up to Y/N's house and grab everything from my backseat as soon as I'm parked. Once everything is in my hands, I walk up to the front door and knock as loud as I can.
***
Your POV
You lay on the couch curled up under a fuzzy blanket. You were feeling sick last night and it got worse as soon as you woke up this morning. That's when you asked your best friend and longtime crush Adam Cole to come over and maybe help you feel better.
There's a knock on the front door and you get up, shivering with chills even in an Undisputed Era hoodie and black sweatpants. You open the door and see Adam standing on your doorstep with a few bags and a blanket.
"You are the best human being ever," you say, almost brought to tears as soon as you realize what's in the bags.
Adam smiles and says, "I gotta make sure my best friend is taken care of when she's sick. Can I come in?"
You nod and move aside so Adam can walk in. He enters your house and you close the door. He sets the bags on the coffee table and you make your way under the fuzzy blanket again.
He throws the blanket he was carrying over you and it heats up. He brought a heated blanket to you.
You hum softly, finally warm after shivering all morning.
Adam says, "I have different snacks and drinks. I also have over the counter fever medicine and painkillers in case you need them."
"You're literally my favorite person ever," you say, looking up at Adam. "I probably look terrible right now and you haven't run off either."
He laughs and sits beside you on the couch. "You always look beautiful, even if you're sick and in a hoodie and sweats," he says.
Luckily your cheeks are already kind of red or he'd probably notice how flustered you're getting. You had no idea that he thought like that.
Adam clears his throat and says, "Okay, so, what are we going to do? Watch a movie and eat snacks? Eat snacks and talk?"
You giggle and say, "I need to take some meds." You cough a bit. "My throat and head are killing me."
He grabs the bag and pulls out the medicine. He grabs a cup of water for you as you grab two painkillers and get the cold medicine poured in the little cup. Adam comes back with the cup of water and says, "So, just a warning, the pain meds might make you a little loopy. I tried to find Advil or something but they didn't have any."
"Yay," you say, coughing.
Adam takes the snacks out of the bag as you take your medicine. He looks over at you as you drink the cold medicine. You make a face and cough from the taste. "Ugh, that's disgusting," you groan. "I absolutely hate it."
He laughs and says, "It's what needs to happen so you feel better."
You move closer to Adam and you say, "I already feel better now that you're here."
"Really?" he asks, wrapping an arm around your shoulders.
Nodding, you say, "Yep." The loopiness of the painkillers starts to set in and you can't stop the next words that you say. "You're my best friend. Plus, I may have a teeny tiny crush on you so I always feel better when you're around me."
Adam tenses up a little bit and you close your eyes, pulling the blanket closer to you.
He says, "I, uh, I didn't know that."
You get comfy and ask, "Where are the snacks? I'm hungry and I think it's bad to take medicine when you have an empty stomach. I haven't eaten today."
"Jesus, Y/N," Adam says. "I wouldn't have given you the medicine if I knew that you didn't eat."
You cough into your elbow before you say, "I wasn't hungry then but I'm hungry now."
Adam says, "Well, I brought Double Stuf Oreos, Gushers, Animal Crackers, and the closest thing I could find to a Wawa hoagie."
When Adam mentions the Wawa hoagie, you look up at him and ask, "You brought me Wawa?"
"I brought you something close to Wawa," Adam repeats. "It's not exactly Wawa but it's something close to it."
You say, "This is why I have a teeny tiny crush on you. You treat me so well."
Adam gives a little chuckle as you grab the hoagie. You unwrap it and take a bite, humming softly.
He knows how much you love and miss Wawa. This is the closest thing to a Wawa hoagie that he could find. You appreciate that he tried looking for something close to a hoagie.
The rest of the day is spent watching a movie, and with you fading in and out of sleep. The meds are making you sleepy as well as a little loopy.
Even though you weren't feeling well, you do appreciate that Adam came over and took care of you. He brought you food, drinks, and a heated blanket. You couldn't ask for a better best friend.
It's close to seven that night when Adam picks you up off the couch. He carries you up to your bed because you're too weak to walk. He walks into your room and sets you down on the bed, pulling your blankets onto you.
"Adam," you mumble, half asleep.
He's literally tucking you in as he asks, "Hm?"
You try to look at him as you say, "Stay with me tonight."
Adam smiles and says, "Anything for you." He crawls into the bed beside you, pulling you into his arms. You smile and snuggle into his side.
"Goodnight, Adam," you say, starting to doze off.
He presses a kiss to the side of your sweaty head as he says, "Goodnight, Y/N."

Part 10
Death x OC Office AU
(I feel like I haven't updated in weeks, lol. Enjoy!! 💖)
“I’m just gonna go out for a walk,” I sighed, shoving my feet into a pair of old studded combat boots. “That’s all.”
“You don’t get all dressed up like that to just go for a walk,” Safiya said behind me. I rolled my eyes and tied up the laces, flipping my hair out of my face. “Plus, you straightened your hair and shaved, and you put on your sexy underwear.” I scoffed and stood, turning to her.
“Maybe I just wanna feel hot while I go on a walk, you ever think of that?”
“You’re the worst liar in this house. Where are you really going?” I groaned loudly and slipped my leather jacket over my shoulders, moving my hair.
“Nowhere, except for a walk.”
“So, who is it?” Neema asked from the couch, looking at me inquisitively. I threw my hands up.
“No one!”
“It’s your boss, isn’t it?”
“It better not,” Safiya scoffed. I glared at her. “Are you going to see him?” I felt my face grow warm.
“No!” I cried, running my hands through my hair.
“Aziza, if you’re going to see him-”
“I’m not, I’m just gonna get drinks with someone from work! You happy now?” She crossed her arms over her chest, her jaw clenched. She was thoroughly unconvinced by my answer. I rolled my eyes. “I’ve gotta go or else I’m gonna be late.”
“Aziza-”
“Don’t wait up!” I grabbed my keys and shoved them into my purse, walking out. I slammed the door behind me and hurried down the stairs. I slammed against the front door and pushed it open, walking out into the cold. I gulped down fresh air and moved to lean against the side of the building. I slowly slid down, crouching, and held my head in my hands. The weekend had snuck up on me.
I hadn’t even realized it was Saturday when I woke up this morning. All day I could only think about my date with Death. I was nervous and excited and irritated, but the irritation wasn’t at him. Safiya had sensed something off with me and had been hounding me all day about what was going on with me. I knew she’d blow a gasket if she knew I was going to see my boss, so I just didn’t tell her. I hadn’t told either of my sisters, which was uncharacteristic of me, to be honest. Usually, I told them everything; from what I had for lunch to how many times I had to use the restroom.
I shared my life with them completely, but I couldn’t share this. From how Safiya had just acted, I didn’t even want to imagine her reaction if I’d told her the truth. Knowing that I was going to meet someone from work was enough for them to know. Still, I felt guilty about keeping this from them. I knew Neema wouldn’t care, and she’d probably only tease me about it, but I didn’t want her to have to keep a secret from Safiya for me. It wasn’t fair to her.
I sniffled, the cold freezing my nose, and stood. I’d asked to meet Death at the office instead of having him pick me up at home. There was no way my sisters wouldn’t know who I was seeing if he pulled up in his Rolls Royce. I sighed and shoved my hands into the pockets of my jacket, pushing the drama with my sisters to the back of my mind. I had been waiting for this night for days, and nothing was going to take away my excitement. I’d been restless the rest of the week, thinking only about tonight.
What did he have planned for us? Was he as nervous as I was? What if I messed things up or we found out we were completely incompatible? Or if I did something horrible would he fire me? I didn’t want to have to tell Safiya she was right; that would be the icing on the cake.
I shuttered at the thought of having to admit to her that I was wrong and she was right.
I reached the building fairly easy. The crowd on the sidewalk was beginning to get denser just as I arrived. Death was waiting outside, leaning against the front door. He was dressed nicely, with dark jeans, a neatly tucked iris shirt, and a pair of black boots that looked like they could easily pay rent for three months. His hands were shoved into the pockets of a nice black trench coat, his head resting against the glass. His eyes were closed but he seemed to know I was here, because before I could finish crossing the street his eyes were open and trained on me. I smiled and waved, running up to him.
“Sorry if I’m late,” I said. He smiled softly at me.
“It’s worth the wait,” he replied. I blushed and he looked me up and down, pushing away from the door. “Should we get going?” I nodded and he walked to his car that was parked in front of us, opening my door for me. I thanked him and got in, setting my purse next to me. He closed my door and was in his seat in a flash, the engine of the car roaring to life. I smiled and relaxed into my seat, clipping my seatbelt on.
“So, what do you have planned for us for the evening?” I asked as we pulled away from the curb. He looked at me out of the corner of her eye.
“Nothing, really… I was hoping you had an idea.” I snickered and shook my head.
“I’m indecisive when it comes to decisions like this! I thought you’d have something fancy planned.” He hummed quietly and I bit the inside of my cheek. “I don’t need anything fancy, Death. We could sit in the car and eat fast food and I’d be fine.” He snorted softly and turned to look at me as we came to a stoplight, traffic starting to pick up.
“I suppose we should have dinner?” I shrugged. “Have you eaten?”
“I ate some mashed potatoes and corn.” He cocked his head slightly. “It was either that or ramen again.”
“Dinner it is,” he said. I smiled and nodded.
“Dinner it is,” I repeated. I turned my body as much as I could and rested my head against the seat. “Tell me about yourself.” He chuckled darkly and looked away from me.
“You don’t want to know.” His tone was morose. I reached over and put my hand on his knee, giving him an encouraging look.
“I’m pretty sure I do. You don’t have to tell me your whole life story. Let’s start simple, like… What’s your favorite movie?” He stared at me quizzically. “Come on, you have to have a favorite film. Mine’s The Sixth Sense.” He shook his head slowly.
“I’ve never watched a movie.” My jaw dropped and I furrowed my brows, looking at him skeptically.
“You’re lying; you have to be. You’re telling me you haven’t watched one single movie in your entire life?” He nodded.
“I read.”
“Well so do I but it’s nice to take a seat and kick back with some snacks to watch Bruce Willis see ghosts.”
“What?” I waved his comment away and laughed.
“I can’t believe you haven’t seen a movie… That’s just criminally unjust. We’re gonna have to change that.” He rolled his eyes. “Okay, how about a different question? What… What’s your favorite book?” He tilted his head thoughtfully, silence hanging over us as we drove. Is it really that hard to pick a favorite book? How many has he read?
“You couldn’t possibly have read my favorite book. It’s not in your language.”
“Hey, I took an Enochian class in college!” He smirked.
“It remains in Heaven’s vast libraries.”
“Oh… Then I probably haven’t read it.” He laughed quietly and looked at me.
“What about you,” he asked. “What’s your favorite novel?”
“Promise you won’t laugh?” He nodded. I took a deep breath. “Pride and Prejudice.” His smirk grew and I pointed a finger at him. “Hey, you promised!”
“I’m not laughing.” He sounded like he was fighting to not laugh, the bastard. “It’s a nice novel for humans.”
“It’s a classic! How can you not like it? The romance between Elizabeth and Darcy and the way it builds up is just-” I kissed my fingers. “Perfecto.” He gave me a side eye and I arched a brow. “You just don’t get it.”
“I’ll admit, I don’t appreciate it like you do.” I smiled. “What question next?” I tapped my finger against my chin, thinking it over. You can ask anything you want, anything at all.
“Do you… Do you sleep with the window closed or open?”
“It doesn’t matter to me, but I prefer fresh air so I usually leave it open.”
I jumped up. “Me too,” I exclaimed. “Neema absolutely despises it but I can’t sleep without the window at least cracked open.” I clapped, shimmying happily in my seat. “Alright, that’s one thing in common!” He chuckled amusedly. We arrived at our destination a few minutes later. In that time, I’d learned his favorite color, favorite album, and favorite football team; unsurprisingly, he didn’t watch football.
We entered the restaurant I felt a chill go down my spine. Not because of anything scary, but because this place was boujee as hell. The floor was made of some type of red crystal that glowed blue wherever you stepped. The walls were black with a gold trim and chandeliers hung from the high ceiling, orbs of blue and golden light swirling around it. The tables and chairs were made from the same crystals as the floor, lit up yellow wherever a person sat. The booths were the same, but had a cushy looking leather backing to them. Orbs floated through the place, soaring past tables and weaving between legs. It was a beautiful, and most definitely expensive, place to be. The line had extended all the way outside but Death had walked in like he owned the place. He walked up to the maître de and held up two fingers.
“The usual, this time for two,” he said. The demon next to him opened her mouth to say something when the angel next to her put his hand on her arm, shaking his head at her. She clenched her jaw, looking like she wanted to tear his eyes out, but remained silent. The maître de smiled at him and grabbed two menus, motioning for him to follow her. He took my hand and led me through the room, completely ignoring the fact that we’d just cut in line. I felt guilty; after all, they were here first. The woman led us up a platform, heels clicking loudly against the crystal floor, and set the menus down at one of the booths.
She said goodbye and hurried back to her post, never once sparing me a glance. We sat down and I shifted awkwardly, feeling uncomfortable. I wasn’t dressed to be in a place this nice. “Are you okay?” I looked at the Nephilim, who regarded me with an enquiring look. I smiled a little and nodded.
“Yeah,” I said, picking up my menu. “I’m just a little uncomfortable. I’m not dressed to be in a place like this…”
“You look fine. Most everyone here is dressed up for two reasons; to get laid or to get paid, sometimes both.” I giggled softly and shook my head, studying the menu.
“We also kind of cut in line, you know. That’s kinda rude.”
“I thought you’d want to eat. Besides, this is my regular booth.” I flicked my eyes up to him.
“You come here often?”
“I try to come at least once a week. Fury says it’s good for me to go out and socialize.” I hid my giant smile behind the menu.
“Sitting alone in a booth in a room full of people isn’t socializing, you know.” He gave me an amused smirk, his eyes meeting mine.
“Well, I’m not alone now, am I?” I rolled my eyes playfully and turned my attention back to the menu, nearly choking on air when I saw the prices.
“Death,” I said quietly. He hummed, not looking up from the menu. “This is really expensive.” His eyes moved back to mine.
“I have a Rolls and you’re worried about pricing?” he asked, a sarcastic tone to his voice. I pursed my lips slightly.
“Well, I have fifty bucks to pay for myself tonight and the lowest prince is the forty-five-dollar sweet potato fries flaked with gold.” He snorted softly and set the menu down.
“I’m paying for tonight, so order anything you want.” I frowned.
“I want to pay for my meal; I’d feel bad if you paid for everything.” He gave a small smile, watching me thoughtfully.
“Think of it as a bonus for being around me past your work hours.” I rolled my eyes.
“This is a date, not work.” I sighed and shook my head, looking back at the menu. “Fine, I’ll let you pay for tonight; but only because I’m hungry and this prime rib looks delicious.” He chuckled, the sound of it making it impossible for me to not smile as much as I could. We ordered a few minutes later and then continued our talk. I rested my elbows on the table and cupped my face, staring at him. He arched a brow and tilted his head up slightly, the ghost of a smile on his lips.
“You do know that elbows on the table is considered rude, yes?” he asked amusedly. I smiled.
“Is that a date dealbreaker?” I teased, my feet dancing under the table. I was suddenly very nervous, but I tried to play it off.
“Hmm…” He tapped a finger against his chin. “No, I don’t think it is.” My smile widened and I scrunched my shoulders, attempting to look cute. He let out a breath that almost sounded like laughter and shook his head, relaxing into his seat. I folded my arms and flipped some loose strands of hair out of my face.
“So, any questions you have for me,” I asked. He pursed his lips slightly and stared at me, thinking over his next words.
“Yes,” he answered slowly. “I would like to know why you decided to apply for my office when your personality suggests you’d get along with Strife better.” I scoffed and shook my head, sitting up.
“The pay, number one! Number two, it’s close to home and to Neema’s school, and number three, I wanted to see if you were as big and bad as I’d heard.” He cocked his head.
“Where did you hear that?”
I shrugged. “My sister has a friend whose brother worked for you and he said you were a strict hard ass with no compassion and that every time you walked into a room the temperature would drop.” Death laughed, his eyes glinting with delight. “Also, my sister dated an employee of yours who said you were colder than ice cold.”
“Sounds about right,” he snickered. I smiled a little and shook my head.
“No, I don’t think so,” I said. He peered at me inquisitively. “You are an asshole, but the temperature has never dropped when you walk in a room.” He scoffed amusedly. “You’re also not without compassion. You let Nora cut back her hours to spend more time with her baby and gave me a chance to work for you even after I flipped out in your office. Plus, you bought me lunch once.”
“That was just-”
“You didn’t have to buy me so much. You could’ve gotten me a salad or even gotten me nothing at all. I think that takes some compassion, don’t you?” He stared at me thoughtfully, a small smile on his lips.
“You’re kinder than I deserve,” he said, his voice surprisingly soft. My cheeks started to warm up and I looked down, trying to fight back the smile that wanted to stretch across my face.
“I don’t think so,” I said, looking back up at him. “I think you deserve more kindness.” His eyes grew dark and he clasped his hands together, his gaze leaving mine.
“If you knew of all the things I’ve done, you wouldn’t think that.” My smile fell and I reached across the table, taking one of his hands in mine. His eyes met mine once again and I gave his hand a gently squeeze.
“Whatever your sins are, just know I don’t care. I care about who you are right now.” He sighed and laced his fingers through mine, staring at our joined hands.
“It’s not that simple.”
“It is with me. I don’t know what you’ve done to think you don’t deserve basic kindness.” His hand squeezed mine, and for a moment I could’ve sworn I saw torture in his eyes.
“A lot, Aziza. I’ve done a lot.”

‘Giantess’ Kirby Roussimoff x Shane ‘Hurricane’ Helms (Circa 2001)
Reference Posts: Shane ‘Hurricane’ Helms
Kirby ‘The Blacklight Bandit’ Roussimoff
Notes: The story is set in 2001, which would make Helms 27 and Kirby 31. This story also blends Kayfabe and Reality. Certain people speak in different colours, Mainly: Helms is Green. Kirby is Orange. Kane is Red. Undertaker is Purple. Big Show is Blue.
Other members of the BSK are also in purple.
Other women are in Pink.
DX Members are also in Green.
Helms' eyes light up with sudden understanding. "I gotcha. This whole time, I thought we were shopping for a carpooling car for traveling on the road."
Kirby pulls Helms into a gentle kiss, "you see why I was so enthusiastic about this car now?"
"I get it now." He chuckles sheepishly. "Unless you somehow pop out a football team, this one's gonna be perfect."
"I love you, mon mari." Kirby murmurs as she walks over to pay for the car and walks back with the keys.
"Holy shit, it's a family car." He grins, keeping his voice low.
Rosey giggles as he watches Helms realise that Kirby has got them a car for their future. Kirby walks up to the car with the keys, opening the car and sitting in the driver's seat, adjusting it to her size.
"Driver's seat looks damn good on you, babe."
"Thank you baby, so, do you boys wanna test out this beast." Kirby half-jokes.
"God yes."
Kirby does all her pre-driving checks and puts her seatbelt on before starting the car. It hums beautifully, making Helms practically moan.
Kirby smirks as she drives, making it seem like she always knew how to drive the car, "it's perfect, ain't it."
"Absolutely."
"So, should we head to the family meal or get some shopping done first."
"Kirby, we haven't eaten anything yet." Rosey points out from the seat behind Kirby.
"We're going to a meal soon. We don't need to pre-snack, do we?" Helms chuckles.
"No, but it would be nice to... oh fuck, I can't have coffee." Kirby murmurs, pouting at the realisation.
"Why not? Need extra sleep before tomorrow?" Rosey asks.
"New diet, can't have caffeine, or alcohol." Kirby explains, sure it's a lie, but it's not obvious.
"We're trying that 'clean living' trend." Helms explains, lying with much more ease than her. "You know, the one all the celebrities are doing where they basically eat like a four-year-old whose parents don't let them have sugar."
"Oh, that makes sense." Rosey sighs.
"So, I'm gonna treat you boys, to watching me attempt to shop for my future children." Kirby half-jokes.
"We can pick out some things too, right?"
"Yeah, sure." Kirby murmurs as she parks outside a baby store
Helms is practically bouncing with excitement as they go inside, but pauses as they step in, the tiniest bit overwhelmed by just how small everything is.
Kirby's jaw drops slightly as she realizes just how huge she is in proportion to all the baby products, "oh my goodness." She whispers, leaning against Rosey for support.
He catches her quickly and looks to Helms for help and support.
"Babies really are small, huh?" Helms whispers, holding Kirby up a little.
"Everything is so tiny, it's all so tiny." Kirby murmurs in awe.
"Kinda lucky it isn't bigger... be a lot harder to push out." He jokes lightly.
"But I'm... I'm so big ... and this is all so small." Kirby murmurs, walking through the aisles of the store.
"Yeah. Babies are small. Real small."
Kirby grabs one of the baby-grows, holding it up to her stomach, "Shane, picture it, our little bundle of joy." She murmurs, tears of joy in her eyes.
"We gotta get it." He decides.
Rosey walks back over to the couple, "if you two have a kid, would I be their Uncle?"
"Like you even have to ask." Kirby murmurs as she places the baby-grow in the basket and continues looking.
"Uncle Rosey. Suits you perfectly."
"Oh my God, guys look." Kirby laughs as she shows the boys another baby-grow.
"Don't know what's funnier, the fact that it's true or the fact that it isn't."
Kirby smirks as she puts it in the basket, "alright, I need to focus on what we need, like a crib or a bassinet, actual furniture." Kirby murmurs as she tries to focus herself.
"Wouldn't it be better to save the real big stuff for when we don't have to ship it home from Texas?"
"Good point, so, Shane, eventual baby daddy, what do we need." Kirby whispers, kissing his forehead.
"Anything small. Bottles, tiny plastic spoons, maybe even some toys."
"Like these? They're teething toys." Kirby murmurs as she bends over to grab a small box of toys.
"They're so cute!"
"What else ... pacifiers." Kirby murmurs as she places the box in the basket.
"Oh jeez, yeah, need those."
Kirby starts giggling as she looks at the pacifiers, "Shane, catch." She calls as she chucks him a pacifier.
"Man, these are perfect."
Before too long the basket is full of items and the trio are laughing as they walk to the queue for the checkout.
"You know, this makes me feel one step closer to being a mom." Kirby states proudly.
"Technically every step you take makes you one step closer to being a mom." Helms laughs.
"Kirby, you're not pregnant are you?" Rosey asks gently.
"Uh, well, uhm." Kirby stumbles over her words.
"We will either confirm or deny when we get your sworn word that no matter what we say, it stays between us." Helms finishes for her.
"I promise on the souls of my forefathers, I won't tell anyone." Rosey says, hand over his heart.
Helms looked at Kirby to give her the honours.
"Matthew Anoa'i, in about nine months, you will be an uncle." Kirby states, before she gets enveloped in a tight hug.
He's practically crushing her spine with the force of it.
"Matthew, Matt, let me breathe." Kirby murmurs.
"Sorry, Kirbs." Rosey whispers as he lets go.
"It's still super early, and not really confirmed, but as soon as it is, we'll be telling more people."
"Yeah, and it's the thing keeping me from being my usual self."
"Oh, that explains a lot." Rosey sighs.
"Yeah. She's okay, just working on making a human."
"Yeah, I'm doing all the work." Kirby jokes.
"I did my part." He laughs.
"Which took around five minutes." Kirby jokes, before paying for everything before either man can say anything.
"Hey, I seem to recall you won that pot for longest horizontal mambo, and you didn't do it single-handed."
"I did, but then again, mon ange, it's not just about how long you go, it's also about how much you do it." Kirby murmurs, before pushing Helms against the car to kiss him deeply.
"Didn't hear you complaining."
"I'd never complain, you sexy beast, Shaney baby." Kirby whispers against his neck.
"Good. Didn't think so."
Kirby pulls away for air, her cheeks flush bright red.
"So damn cute when you're pink like that."
"You really think so?" Kirby whispers as she regains her composure.
"I know so."
Kirby smiles softly as she looks at Helms, she looks away, rubbing the back of her neck, trying to calm her anxieties.
"How small everything is got to you, didn't it?" He murmurs.
"Yeah, I didn't realise just how tiny a baby is, I just... I'm so big, ya know." Kirby murmurs as she calms herself.
"They'll get bigger eventually."
"But right now, our baby is too small to even know they're definitely there." Kirby murmurs as she goes to get in the driver's seat.
"For now. Not for long."
Kirby breathes a deep sigh, "is it just me or is the potential of being a parent just world changing?"
"Definitely not just you. Knowing you've created a life that didn't exist before makes you see the world as something completely different."
Kirby does all her checks before putting on her seatbelt and driving to the café the Samoans and the giant siblings have decided on for a family brunch. The owners already looked a little spooked by having so many giant people around one table and having three more walk in wasn't doing them any favours. Kirby immediately notices and goes over to apologise for her family. The owners insist everything's okay, but do request everyone take their time in ordering and eating so the cooks don't get too overworked.
Kirby makes a mental note of their advice, "guys, don't overwhelm the kitchen." She warns the group as she walks over.
"Overwhelm the kitchen? We'd never. Too much respect for what they do back there."
Kirby blinks a couple times, trying to shake the sudden faint feeling from her head, if she doesn't eat something soon she's likely to faint.
Helms notices her wobbling a little. "Kirby, honey, sip some water, okay?" He whispers.
Kirby does as he says, sipping her glass of water as she tries to hide her feelings from the others.
He leans over and keeps his voice low. "You okay?"
"I feel like I'm starving." Kirby softly admits, barely above a whisper, holding her head in her hands.
"I mean, neither of us had breakfast, we can definitely do with some food."
"Shane, I really shouldn't be skipping meals, not now." Kirby whispers, her voice wavering slightly, scared of doing anything that hurts the baby.
"I'll make sure you're not."
It doesn't take long for the table to get some food, a big emphasis is put on sharing both the food and any news within the family, or making each other laugh. Kirby seems to be doing fine, excusing herself to go to the bathroom. Helms keeps track of how long she's gone, making sure she's not gone longer than 5 minutes. Kirby comes back right at the 5 minute mark, sitting down next to Helms and placing her head on his shoulder.
"Feeling okay?" He whispers.
"Yeah, needed a couple minutes alone." Kirby whispers back before going back to eating and looking like she's having fun.
"That's what I like to hear."
The meal takes around an hour before everyone pays for their share and Kirby and Helms are left alone in their new car together.
"That was fun. Your family is darn cool."
"Yeah, hanging with the family is fun, it's good to see them after yesterday, and I'm sure they accept you as part of our Ohana"
"I really hope so."
"Shane, I know so, they look at you like another brother or cousin, you're one of the boys. You're one of my boys, and you will eventually be a dad." Kirby reassures.
"Just still trippy to be part of a family."
"Think about it like this, you married me, I have no connection to my biological family, so I hang around the people who took me in, the Samoans, they treat me like family and they realise that I truly love you and thus, they accept you, mon amour." Kirby explains, absent-mindedly placing her left hand on her stomach and her right hand on his thigh.
"Makes sense to me."
"And eventually, and I know it's too early to be sure, but eventually we will have a baby, a little bundle of joy, our first child." Kirby murmurs, trying not to cry.
"A little person we made."
"A tiny life, partly you, partly me. We'll..." Kirby takes a deep breath in, "we'll be parents, you'll be a dad and I'll..." she takes another deep breath, wiping away tears of joy, "I'll be a mom."
"Darn right. You're gonna be the world's greatest mom."
"I'm actually going to be a mother, I've wanted to be a mom my whole life, and... now," Kirby stops talking, her emotions too much for her to handle as she starts crying.
Helms pulls her into a hug to keep from tearing up too. "You're really and truly gonna be a mom."
"Shane, Shane we're going to be parents." Kirby whispers, kissing his temple, "we're going to have a child, and it's gonna be okay, because we'll love them as much as we possibly can. Think about it, The Hurricane and Blacklight Bandit... and their 'super-baby'."
"They're gonna be the greatest kid in the world."
"What do you think their superpowers would be, Hero?" Kirby questions teasingly.
"Could be pretty much anything."
"Making me an emotional mess is definitely one of them, though." Kirby half-jokes.
