What a long, exhausting day. I hope that everyone who is feeling like I do today is taking care of themselves.

I honestly do not understand why I still feel so sad and upset. I am normally so unbreakable and strong. But today was terrible. Work was a complete joke. I spent most of the day either numb and staring at my computer, or in the bathroom feeling sick to my stomach. But I know that it is nothing compared to what Liam's loved ones are feeling. I hope that each and every one of his friends and family know how loved they are and that they can spend as much time healing as they need. And Liam. My poor, sweet Liam, I hope you are at peace and feel happy and safe wherever you are. You are so very loved and I will miss you always. I will always do my best from now on to live my life in a way that would make you proud and make every moment count. To everyone out there who struggled through this day, I want you to know that I am here for you till the very end. You are loved. You are worth it. <3

Willow month: favourite quote

Willow is a show full of wonderful quotes, from the absurdly funny to the genuinely powerful and moving and I had such a goddamn hard time choosing. But eventually I had to go with this one:

What can I say, I just love a guy advocating emotional vulnerability, especially a character who is terrible at doing it himself and who uses humour as a coping mechanism and is somehow both terrible at comforting people and also surprisingly awesome at comforting people. Because Jade is hurting, she’s grieving and she needed some reassurance and some comfort, and Boorman actually manages to do that for her. She didn’t want it from Kit, but in this moment she and Boorman discover a certain sense of kinship, as the warriors of the group, who have to take heavy burdens on their shoulders, as knights who’s lives didn’t go the way they planned. It’s one of the rare moments we see Jade express her emotions this fully. And the way he’s awkwardly deflecting with humour, but that’s alright, because he’s already done everything she needed: he’s been there, he’s listened, and he’s genuinely tried to help

So yeah. It’s sweet, it’s funny, and it’s true: everyone deserves (at least) one good cry per quest
