Part 4 of 4 of dumb fic ideas that I found buried in my notes app
Sasuke Uchiha's 10 step plan to get revenge"
Someone once said that the best revenge is living well. Sasuke maybe takes this a bit too seriously.
Or, Sasuke decides that the best possible revenge on Itachi he can get is to "live a good life." Which includes but is not limited to; starting a "happy family," learning to bake, going to therapy and dragging the entirety of Kohona into a better tomorrow. Take that Itachi.
Super cracky fic where Sasuke basically makes a bucket list of stereotypical things a housewife or outdated grandparent might point to in order to say you lived a good life
On a bit of a stupid cracky baby marriage kick so kind of thinking Sasuke decides he needs to get married and start a family. But girls are annoying and loud and dumb so he'll just choose one of the boys instead. He starts aggressively knocking on some of his classmates doors like *You. Do you want to get married.* (he gets the door shut in his face multiple times)
Sasunaru is the obvious choice but I'm lowkey leaning towards shikasasu? Just bc I like rarepairs and shikamaru, and I can see Sasuke singling him out bc he's quiet, from a good clan, and is one of the only people in class who can be fucking normal around him for more than 5 minutes at a time. Clearly husband material!
It'd be funny if Naruto actually did approach him like "so I hear ur,, looking to get married,,,, or whatever,,,,,, whiCH IS DUMB AND I BET NO ONE WOULD EVEN WANT TO GET MARRIED TO YOU SO YOU SHOULD JUST MARRY ME ACTUALLY!!!!!"
Sasuke turns him down because his housewife guide to living a good life says he needs to marry someone who can support him and Naruto is a clanless orphan
Naruto is very offended and goes on a quest to prove he's totally good husband material and can for sure support Sasuke!!!
Meanwhile Shikamaru has been dodging Sasuke's attempts to talk to him like the fucking plague
Shikamaru is using Naruto as a shield, they are all running circles around each other and the teachers are placing bets on who's going to win and how long this idiocy is going to last
Endgame Shikanarusasu would be objectively the funniest choice actually
The girls in class all want both of the boys dead I think Sakura and Ino both are plotting actual murders. Sakura gets over being a shy girl early out of pure outrage and there may be a duel to the death or two for "Sasuke's honor" (Sasuke wants out of here so bad)
Maybe Sakura starts on Sasuke about how he cant get married to a boy because thatd make him a WIFE and he cant be a wife because hes a boy or smthn. Which is dumb and Sasuke decides he meant to be a husband but you know what?? Fuck you maybe he WILL be a wife. Which ends up turning into a Sasuke vs Sakura rivalry over who can be the best potential wife, which also speeds up Sakura's character development bc that girl needs some of it
Sakura is grabbing Ino like "well if YOUR husband is going to be a BOY then MINE will be a GIRL" and now its a really passive aggressive local lesbians vs not actually together homo trio. They are terrifying and their idea of what marriage is supposed to look like is all based off of what your average 10 year old would assume its supposed to look like
wlw / mlm hostility fr
Somewhere off in the distance Itachi is getting his Sasuke updates from his birds + Sarutobi and just. "My brother is WHAT."

One time when they were kids, Kazuha somehow got chewing gum in her hair, which prompted her mother to cut her hair really really short. That was the shortest her hair has ever been in her 6 years of living.
Kazuha was really sad about it, especially since it was too short to wear her favourite ribbon. Furthermore, the boys at kindergarten did not make it easier.
"Kazuha's a boy!!"
"AHOU! I'M NOT A BOY"
"She looks like a boy!!"
"I DON'T"
Kazuha was about to tackle the rowdy crowd despite the tears threatening to spill, but Heiji stepped forward in front of her.
With his tiny hands in his pocket, he leered at his classmates. "Ahou, you don't need to be a detective to see that Kazuha's a girl. Are ya idiots blind?"
Kazuha looked at Heiji with awe in her eyes. Her six-year-old heart was beating weirdly, but she didn't know why.
The boys looked flustered and raised their voices. "What did ya say-"
"She's clearly gonna cry like a girl"
Kazuha snapped. "HEIJI YOU IDIOT"
"What? You were about to cry, ahou"
"NO"
"YES YOU DID"
"NO I DIDN'T"
"CRYBABY!"
"AM NOT!"
The group of boys stared awkwardly as Heiji and Kazuha got into a screaming match in front of them. They later had to call a teacher after Kazuha tackled Heiji down and they both proceeded to fight on the floor.
...............................................................
"Gomen Shizuka. How many times does this make?"
"No worries, Sakura. It is quite amusing, don't you think?"
Sakura laughed.
Both Hattori Shizuka and Toyama Sakura were called by the kindergarten to pick their kids after the chaos they caused.
When they arrived, both Heiji and Kazuha sat on the opposite side of the bench, trying to put as much distance as they could between them.
Both mothers tried their best to hold in their laughter and act stern while scolding their children.
"Now, shake hands and apologise to each other"
Reluctantly, both kids came closer and muttered a weak apology while shaking hands. However, they noticed their mothers were still unsatisfied through the expectant look on their face.
"Sorry for hitting you Heiji"
"Sorry for calling you a crybaby Kazuha"
"Thanks for backing me up against those boys"
"Nah. It's no big deal"
Upon Shizuka's insistence, the four of them went to have lunch at the Hattori household, and Sakura treated them with snacks from their favourite Okomiyaki shop. By the end of the day, Heiji and Kazuha were back to playing together and causing mischief, the morning argument long forgotten.
.........................................................
The next day, Heiji surprised Kazuha by handing her a hair clip with a cute ribbon.
"Eh? Why?"
"Ya couldn't wear a ribbon like usual right? I found this yesterday, so might as well give it to ya"
"Arigatou Heiji!"
That evening Kazuha excitedly showed her mom the new hair clip she got from Heiji. Sakura listened with a smile while remembering the phonecall she had with Shizuka a few hours ago. Yesterday, Heiji asked his mother where to go to buy a hair clip for Kazuha. Excitedly, he went to the shop immediately after the Toyamas went home.
"Mom?"
"Nothing, Kazuha-chan. Make sure to take good care of the hair clip"
"Okay!"

Characters: Tomoko Aimi (OC), Homura Akemi, Madoka Kaname, Sayaka Miki, & Kyoko Sakura (Commissioned/Requested ♡ Thank you! I did my best with the provided information. I still have some things to learn about the Madoka Magica Universe, so it was an adventure to research while making this. I hope you like it!)
In the vast world of possibilities, many theories exist in attempts to explain how life worked. Was reincarnation real? Was there really a concept of Heaven and Hell? Was there only one version of the universe, or did a multitude of timelines exist?
In the world of Madoka Magica, it happened to be that timelines were how the universe could sort varying actions and circumstances that could be brought up at any time at any place.
It also happened that in just about every timeline, Tomoko Aimi drowned to death.
About 13 to 14 years of age, Tomoko Aimi was a girl who some wouldn't have expected to make it far in life--not because of potential but rather the situation she was in. After all, it wasn't easy for orphans to gain an upper hand over other children. Merely surviving was a struggle, for she lived alone in a small apartment complex. Job searching came out fruitless; not many companies or even family-owned shops were willing to consider such a young candidate for employment. Money was, therefore, tight, and it got even tighter as time passed. To avoid authorities, Tomoko's state of living remained under wraps, but like money, support was little.
Despite these struggles, the girl was a child at heart. Laughter rang in the classroom in her reaction to a classmate's joke. Her smile brightened her teacher's heart whenever she was praised for a correct answer. Whenever she fell for a prank (and believe it or not, she always did), she chased her companions around and plotted revenge (sometimes they failed; sometimes they didn't). When classes weren't in session, she could be seen in the fields with those same companions skipping rope, blowing bubbles, or playing imaginary games. Although home was little to smile over, it was these moments with people she cherished that made life worth living.
Most notably, two people who come to mind when Tomoko thought about who she cherished met her in the most unexpected of ways. It all began when Tomoko stumbled upon the strangest cat she had ever seen on a shortcut to her favorite lunch spot.
The cat of white and pink eyes stared at her as she made her way closer. When the distance closed in, Tomoko bent down on her knees with eyes of wonderment. "Woah, you look cute. I want to take you home!"
With a blink, the cat ran off.
"Hey, wait!" Tomoko tightened her school bag on her shoulder and chased after the creature. "Hold on! I'm not that scary, right?!"
In pursuit of the animal, she watched as the alley she was just in transformed into a strange labyrinth. She stopped in her tracks once her entire environment seemed to expand tenfold. Her heart beat faster as a tall, dark lady built like a skeleton rose from the ground while music played out of nowhere.
The creature stopped running, blinked at her again, and leaped at her. Tomoko let out a small shriek and allowed her reflexes to catch the cat, who remained passive. When a fuzzy ball with legs popped out of thin air not so far ahead of them, the girl stepped back. "What did you get us into...? What in the world is THIS?!"
"STAY RIGHT THERE!"
Tomoko's eyes darted to the shout of the feminine voice to find its owner flying the air, scoping at the towering, skeleton-like lady with a musket. A loud BANG! echoed in the air. Tomoko flinched and recovered herself to see another girl flying her way.
This one was adorned in a dress of pink and white, with matching messy pigtails. She rested a hand on Tomoko's shoulder. "Don't be afraid. We've got this."
A tear ran down Tomoko's eyes. "I am so scared right now..."
WHOOSH! Another girl, this one with red glasses and a black and purple outfit, appeared to Tomoko's other side. She offered a small nod and a smile. "Trust us. Mami-san and Kaname-san won't let anything bad happen to us."
And so, Tomoko watched in awe as the two girls left to join their other companion in a battle that Tomoko thought she could only see in movies. The defeat of the skeleton-lady came with a crash. The world around her wobbled away to reveal the alley again, but the three girls remained.
The tallest pushed her princess curls out of her face and picked a small item up to pocket it away. She strode over to Tomoko and gave the creature still in her arms a stink eye. It jumped away and ran to the pink-themed girl, who yelped with joy. The tall girl rested a hand on her chest. "I apologize for the scene you just witnessed. I'm guessing Kyubey wants you, though, if you haven't fallen under hypnosis by the witch and could see it and us."
"Witch?"
"Are you hungry? I can explain over lunch. My name's Mami Tomoe."
"Lunch?! I'm so hungry, yes please!" The pink-haired girl exclaimed with a jump. "I'm Madoka Kaname, pleasure to meet you!"
The black-haired girl stepped forward, hands clasped in front of her. "I'm Ho--"
Tomoko gasped. "Wait. I've seen you before in the halls, I think. At school. Do you go to Mitakihara Middle School?"
"I do. We all do, actually," the black-haired girl replied with a blush. "I'm Homura Akemi. We fight witches of pain and despair, though I'm much newer at it."
"Woah, magical girls?!" Tomoko leaned forward. "I wanna hear me!"
Mami chuckled. "Then, let's hurry. We were just headed to this cafe I found last week. I hope we'll like it."
Over a hearty meal, Mami--the oldest of the group--shared the purpose and history of Magical Girls while emphasizing the risk they had to take in their everyday lives in order to keep the universe safe. It was quite a shock to hear that such otherworldly beings blended into normal civilians like her. Mami also shared that the cat (who lounged on the table) Tomoko caught is an Incubator named Kyubey. It granted Mami and Madoka their wishes, and Mami joked it was only a matter of time before Homura and Tomoko made their wishes as well.
After cleaning up, the four left the cafe and stopped walking at an intersection before parting ways. Mami reached her hand out to Tomoko. "If you'd like, you could come with us to fight witches before making your decision. It is quite literally life or death, so it's best you be informed of what you're getting into."
Madoka rushed over and took ahold of Tomoko's hands with a smile. "That would be awesome! We'll keep you safe, I promise."
Pink dusting her cheeks, Tomoko smiled back. "Sure!"
And so, for the following month, the four journeyed through a multitude of labyrinths whenever Tomoko had time. Mami, as the unspoken leader of the group, was always at the front of these fights, so Homura and Madoka spent much of their time closer to Tomoko in the labyrinths protecting her while battling. As a newcomer, the girl looked up to them so much. Even outside of Magical Girl activities, Tomoko spent some time with her new friends, though mostly the two who were in her grade level. She followed them around in school and asked them to play with her whenever something excited showed up. Once, she convinced Madoka and Homura to join a merry-go-round with her. It was easy for an outsider to tell who had the most childlike joy in the trio.
Tomoko, unlike two others in the quad, didn't have an obligation to go witch hunting since she hadn't contracted yet. Despite not having a family waiting for her at home, she wasn't quite ready to commit all of her time to the life of a Magical Girl. She still needed to find food to bring home, after all. It was already enough she was hoping someone would bring up eating out after every battle.
"Can I please have this one? I'll pay you back again as soon as I get the money!" Tomoko pleaded while pointing to a bowl of ramen at the current restaurant's menu. "I already paid you back for the ice cream I ate last time, remember?"
"Tomoko-chan, must you always be indebted to me?" Homura chuckled before she ordered the desired meal.
When they returned to the table where the other two sat, Mami smiled. "Did Homura get you something again? She's kind, but it's not good to take advantage of your friends."
Tomoko's cheeks exploded in red. "I'm not! I swear! I paid her back for everything eventually. I normally don't have money on me when we go on these trips. They come up so suddenly..."
Madoka laughed. "You'll definitely benefit from a wallet, then."
"I think keeping her money on her would enable her to spend much more than she already is, don't you think?" Mami winked.
Tomoko pouted. "Hey!"
Other than searching for food, Tomoko spent time with her other companions at school. She enjoyed playing with them any chance she got, which was usually more than once a week. They distracted her from the struggles of an orphan and made her feel less alone in the wide world. With every laugh, she imagined growing up and going on more adult hangouts with these people. Although she didn't have a biological family to chase her until she was caught for an onslaught of tickles, she felt she had finally had some sort of found-family.
So why was it that Tomoko's breath was extinguished underwater?
One moment, she was playing Hide-and-Seek while drinking juice with her friends. And the next, the instinct to live shot her awake as her feet and arms flailed for some sort of surface to hold onto or stand on. She couldn't even open her eyes without water flushing in, blocking her vision.
Where was she? Where were her friends? Why weren't they saving her? These questions, unfortunately, would go unanswered. With no way to get to safety, Tomoko succumbed to the pitch black.
Or at least, that was until white light spread from the center of her "vision." A sparkly path of purple immediately grew from the center and winded its way towards Tomoko until it was out of her vision. Arms emerged from the center of the bright light until the body of a girl in a three-layered, white and pink frilly dress came into full view. The dress was unlike any she'd ever seen: longer than the girl's own feet Pink hair as long and shiny as that of a princess and sleeves as wavy as a summer breeze, she opened her arms in one graceful motion.
"Tomoko-chan," she spoke in a crisp voice and a smile. "I've come to save you."
Madoka....
She watched as Madoka took her hand, a strange view since Tomoko couldn't see the rest of her body or even control the part visible. Madoka rested one of her own hands on her chest. "I'm so sorry I wasn't there when you died. So much has happened since you left us, but I'm here now. A friend of mine is here to explain everything. Please, if I give you life, will you watch over Homura for me?"
Was that even a question?

"Hey? Hello! HELLO!"
Gasping for breath, Tomoko slowly opened her eyes to see the face of a girl with short blue hair so close to her that their noses almost touched. Eyes widening, the girl backed away to reveal her royal heroine-like outfit, with the top and skirt of her strapless button-down top the color of a deep ocean while the torso was donned in white.
Her hands rested on her hips as she wore a slight frown. "Hey, are you okay? Madoka said you might be a bit disoriented. Do you remember her?"
"Madoka-san..." Tomoko pushed her lethargic body up as much as she could, though her hands almost slipped on the sleek colorful floor. The mysterious girl rushed over to help her sit up. Tomoko held her hand weakly and looked around at the wide expanse of her location--a building that was void of even objects. "I do. I remember drowning--I think--Madoka-san came to save me. She looked kind of different--like a princess."
"Do you remember what happened to you and Madoka before you died?"
"Um. She wasn't there right before I died, but I remember her. Her, Homura-san, and Mami-san, actually. We were going on adventures fighting witches, except Homura-san and I didn't make our wishes yet. I needed to see if I was ready for that life. I guess I died before I could even think of a wish though...
The girl blinked before letting out a sigh. "So you do remember. Thank goodness." She suddenly stood upright, smiled, and placed a hand on her chest. "The name's Sayaka Miki. What's yours?"
"Tomoko...Tomoko Aimi."
"Well then, let's stay here for a bit while you recover, Tomoko-chan." Sayaka sat down beside her, knees to her chest and arms spread behind her. "Let's see....where should I begin...? I guess I can start with Madoka. This is going to be a lot."
Sayaka's long explanation began with sharing that Madoka was able to revive Tomoko through the Law of Cycles, a concept created by Madoka's wish to erase witches before they are born. Sayaka herself was also saved by Madoka after her death as a witch. Since Tomoko hadn't gotten the chance to make her decision, Madoka chose to offer grace: Tomoko could become a Magical Girl in another timeline in exchange for life.
"Are you not coming with me, Miki-san?" Tomoko questioned when Sayaka told her to get up in preparation for the outside world.
The girl shook her head with a smile. "I've had my fill of fighting witches. It's your turn, now."
Although hesitant to leave without her, Tomoko nodded, turned around, and walked towards the door. Before she could reach for the knob, the building around her wobbled away until she was left in a familiar alley--the same alley she had first met Madoka, Homura, and Mami in. Speaking of the three, where were they? Did they even exist in this timeline? In search of answers, Tomoko sprinted towards Mami's apartment.
✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧
"Madoka...? Who is that?"
Tomoko gaped. "You don't remember Madoka-san? Our friend?"
Mami tilted her head. "No...? Is this someone we've met before?"
"Yes! We've fought with her and--!"
Homura, who had been silent since Tomoko's arrival into the apartment (other than a simple greeting), rested a hand on her shoulder while maintaining eye contact with Mami. "Tomoko, I think you're feeling unwell. Your nightmares might be acting up."
"Huh? I didn't--!"
Homura squeezed her shoulder.
Tomoko pursed her lips. "Okay. Maybe I have...; I've been sleeping late recently."
Mami set her cup of black tea down with a hearty chuckle. "You worried me there for a moment! I couldn't imagine forgetting a fellow Magical Girl, nonetheless one who is our friend." She glanced at the clock in her room. "Since you have been sleeping late, it's best you head home now for bed. I wouldn't want to worsen your sleep quality."
Homura stood. "I'll take her home. I don't trust her to get there safely alone."
"Hey!"
Mami laughed and waved the two farewell. Once she shut the door behind them, they walked side by side down the apartment stairs and began in the direction of Tomoko's apartment in silence. Awkward was not something Tomoko was good at dealing with, and neither was the quiet. She peeked at this timeline's Homura. It was odd to see her friend without glasses, and it was even more so that Homura's aura gave off a much colder impression than her previously shy, ditzy self. Her free-flowing long, black hair made her appear much more mature than her old braids did. While Tomoko felt it suited how she saw Homura, actually seeing it in person just didn't feel right.
Homura caught her gaze. "How do you remember Madoka?"
"Huh. Oh. Um--I just do."
"No one here remembers her. She doesn't exist."
"What? That's not possible..."
"Tell me." Homura stepped closer to her. "Do you recall a god-like Madoka? When was the last time you've seen her?"
"I-uh-I...." She wasn't sure if the truth was meant to be a secret, but Homura's eyes would have forced it out of her anyway. Tomoko bit her lip and nodded. "I just saw her. I'm not sure how, though. I just appeared somewhere around here. Did I still exist before I came? The me right now, I mean."
"I see. Yes, you did. Me, you, and Mami fight Wraiths, what grief embodies into."
"Wraiths? What happened to witches?"
"They don't exist here. You're not supposed to remember that." Homura took out a circle shield. "According to your story, we were friends in your timeline. We are friends in this timeline as well. We should act as such. And as a friend, I request you give me any possible lead that will bring me to Madoka."
"I--sure! Yes! Of course!" Tomoko exclaimed, lifting her arms to her chest. "I actually don't really know much. All that really happened was that I met this blue-haired girl named Sayaka.....Sayaka something. I think her name was Sayaka Miki, but I can't remember."
"Hm." Homura started towards Tomoko's apartment again. "She's no longer with us. No matter. I will drop you off at home and meet you here everyday before school starts. I will message you about anything else. I ask you to keep Madoka a secret from the others."
"Got it!"
Although nervous at first, the two began hunting Wraiths together with Mami--sometimes without her if Homura wished or they stumbled upon one alone. It was a surreal experience getting used to Homura's abilities, especially her onslaught of armory. Even her strategies gave her spine chills. They were much more calculated and daring. Most of the time, Homura was the one aiming for the Wraiths while Tomoko fought off the minions. It took a while to get used to Tomoko's own abilities. The first couple battles, Homura excused themselves from Mami due to illness so Tomoko could practice. According to the purple-haired companion, it would be suspicious if Tomoko suddenly lost her skills. Once she gained them back, however, she felt so powerful and weightless. It was no wonder Magical Girls had a type of confidence normal civilians didn't.
One day, after fighting a witch, Homura treated Tomoko to ice cream. Holding her cone, she sat beside Homura on a bench and licked her sweet treat. "Homura-san, did you find any leads on Madoka-san?"
The girl furrowed her brows. "No."
"Oh." Silence ensued for a moment as Tomoko continued licking her ice cream. "What did you wish for to become a Magical Girl?"
"I...I wished to redo my first meeting with Madoka with the power necessary to protect her."
"Really? What happened to Madoka-san for you to wish for such a thing?"
Homura stared up at the night sky. "In another timeline, she saved the world from an incredibly strong witch named Walpurgisnacht. I couldn't bear the thought of my dear friend leaving me in such a sacrifice. But she is too selfless for her own good. No matter where I went, no matter what I did, she refused to live without interfering with the way Kyubey's world worked. Finally, she made a wish that saved Magical Girls from becoming witches at the cost of her own existence. I need to find her again."
Homura looked at Tomoko and pulled out her shield. "I'm sorry, Tomoko-chan. I need to leave."'
"Where are you going?"
"To another timeline."
Tomoko's eyes widened. "Wait, you're not leaving me here, are you?!"
The gears in the shield whirred alive. Homura's eyes darted away. "I'm sorry."
"WAIT! DON'T JUST--!"
✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧
As if fate played some silly game, Tomoko awoke as a familiar standing by Homura. She could barely talk, only making some noises. She wasn't sure what witch she was a familiar of, but what was unusual was that she was the only creature there.
"Are you really here again?" Homura muttered, staring at her.
"AODAOIDAOIDWDIJIA?!"
"I told you last time I'll end you at your witch. Why must you keep trailing after me?"
Huh? What did that mean? She didn't recall being associated with a witch or even receiving a disapproval to follow Homura. If anything, Homura requested it. Could it be that Tomoko's subconscious awoke in another version of her? It made sense, the longer her mind dwelled on it. In the previous timeline, she didn't remember fighting with Homura and Mami as a trio of Magical Girls. That Tomoko existed before this Tomoko took over. It could very well be the same case in this universe.
Homura pulled out a gun from her skirt and pointed it at Tomoko. "Thank you for your company, but I can't risk explaining my mercy towards you to other Magical Girls. It will give them ideas. It's already concerning that Kyoko almost caught us."
"AIDJWID?!"
BANG!
✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧
Oh great. Another life as a familiar. At least she was a more cute, humanoid looking one!
Tomoko lifted her head from the puddle she was staring at. Ahead of her was the end of the dark alley she had appeared in. There was no way she could travel to Mami's apartment in this state; her head would be blown off again. Without a clue for where to go, the girl--er, familiar--wandered the streets. The way normal civilians ignored her presence sent a sinking feeling in her gut. Her heart panged watching other children blow bubbles without her.
As she wandered closer to an arcade, the environment around her wobbled alive. Startled, Tomoko spun around to watch as familiars unlike her came alive. A huge cotton-ball creature with dolls as eyes erupted from the ground with a howl.
What do I do?! I can't fight that thing as this!
"Perfect! I was just in the area!"
Out of nowhere, a girl with messy red hair flew from the right and launched straight into the monster. Tomoko stood, mouth agape, as the girl jumped away while red liquid gushed out of the creature, who roared in protest. Its familiars charged towards her, but her spear broke apart into bars chained together. She flung the bars around, knocking the familiars into oblivion. With one ferocious attack after another, it didn't take long for the labyrinth to wobble away.
The girl strode towards a grief seed, picked it up, and held it against her soul gem. "Hehe, yes. Just what I needed."
Tomoko stared at her back. She wasn't sure how the girl didn't spot her. Maybe she was invisible? Her case was unique, after all. Still, it was best to not be seen. Thankfully, the color scheme of her being allowed her to blend into the alley behind the arcade well. She didn't have much to do and not much caught her attention outside of what just happened, so Tomoko followed the mysterious girl as she walked away. The girl walked into a supermarket, bought nothing, entered a bookstore, bought nothing, ran across a park, entered a bakery, and sat down. Tomoko slid into the booth chair opposite of her and watched as the girl read the menu.
Once she ordered a dish loaded with toppings, she fanned her face with the menu and looked straight ahead. "Why are you following me?"
So she could see her?! Tomoko's figure trembled in confusion. "AIDOADADODJA!"
"Yeah, I have no idea what you just said. It's weird you aren't attacking me. And you don't look like that witch's familiars, either." The girl pointed her menu at Tomoko. "Did somebody send you?"
"AOIJA!"
"Uh. Okay...; I have no clue what that means either." She tossed the menu to Tomoko. "I'm too starved to think too much right now."
Tomoko stared at the menu, but her thoughts turned elsewhere. How could witches exist here and not the other timeline if Madoka had rid of them? Was there something in the Law of Cycles she had misinterpreted or missed altogether? Or could it be that witches who already existed before Madoka made her wish were able to live?
A piping hot batch of pancakes loaded with syrup, whipped cream, parsley (who in the world orders pancakes with parsley, especially in a bakery?) arrived with five huge strawberries hugged by small blueberries.
Pondering about the logic of the universe could wait another time!
She watched in absolute envy as the girl started eating the delicious meal. If only she was in that position....
The girl peeped up at Tomoko and swallowed. "You can't actually eat, can you?"
"AADWDIJ?"
She pushed the plate towards Tomoko. "Try it."
With ease, Tomoko picked up a spoon and dined away. The girl glanced around, but no one seemed to care. In fact, it didn't look like any of them could spot a floating spoon. After another bite, Tomoko pouted as the plate was taken from her.
"Okay. That's enough for you. I don't know what kind of familiar you are, but if you can eat and understand me, that's weird enough. Weird in a cool way." The girl stabbed a pancake and grinned. "The name's Kyoko Sakura. What's yours?"
"ASIDJW ADIAWDW."
"Er....okay.....; you know what? We can head over to my place after this so you can get a pen. You're not going to stab me in the back later, are you?"
Tomoko shook her head violently.
"Hah. That's sick! And you can see me fighting the witch."
Tomoko nodded.
"You got anywhere to be?"
Tomoko shook her head again.
"Nice, nice." Kyoko's eyes brightened. "Let's go fight more witches! I need to collect more grief seeds to keep them on hand. Actually, I don't know if you can fight, but I can show you how cool I am while fighting. And if I get hurt, I guess you can find some other Magical Girl to come get me, right?"
Tomoko nodded eagerly.
"A familiar on a Magical Girl's side, wow. I'm totally blaming myself for trusting you if you backstab me. Here, let me cut you a piece of this pancake." She turned around. "Excuse me, miss! Can I have a small plate? I like to portion out my bites."
Tomoko watched as Kyoko cut a slice of her pancake and offered a couple berries. At last, the familiar let out a sigh that somehow went inaudible. That was probably something she'd have to understand about familiars. She'd have to understand so many new things, actually. And she'll definitely have to find Homura eventually, though she guessed the black-haired friend would eventually appear since she mentioned a Kyoko previously.
All of that can be accomplished another time, however. For now, she'd enjoy a sweet treat with someone who could possibly become her new friend.

Modern AU! Kakashi is Naruto's guardian who meets his child's teacher for the first time and immediately falls in love with him
[Part 1]
“Naruto, are you dressed?” - Kakashi quickly put the dishes off the table in the sink and sighed tiredly.
He didn't get enough sleep at all. When he returned home at dawn, he found Naruto sleeping on the sofa in the living room. The child did not wait for him and fell asleep. There were empty packages of ramen and chips scattered around the couch. Kakashi carried the boy to his room, barely made it to his bedroom and passed out without even changing into his home clothes. Two hours later the alarm clock rang. Kakashi emerged from his restless sleep and trudged to the kitchen to prepare something like breakfast.
Hatake glanced at his watch and cursed quietly. They were already late.
“Naruto!” - he called a little louder, putting on a black leather jacket as he walked. - “Come quickly.”
The boy ran out of his bedroom holding a huge green frog, a gift from his godfather. Kakashi rolled his eyes but kept his mouth shut. He knew that the argument would take much longer, and they were already late.
“Come on, let’s go,” - Kakashi hurried the child, closed the front door and, picking up the boy in his arms, quickly left the entrance.
Hatake opened the back door of a parked silver Toyota bZ4X, carefully placed the child in the child seat and fastened all the seat belts. Quickly walking around the car, Kakashi got behind the wheel and drove off.
“How are things at school?” - the guy asked, without taking his eyes off the road.
Naruto started talking about the past week in an excited voice. Kakashi listened to him with a slight smile on his face. Hatake felt regretful that in the last two weeks he had disappeared at work and missed Naruto’s first days of school. The boy graduated from kindergarten and Hatake spent a long time racking his brains over which school to send him to. He checked about ten schools until Rin came to his aid and delicately slipped the Academy's business card into his pocket. Kakashi went there several times before finally making his decision. He managed to take Naruto to his first day at school, but then he was urgently called to work, and Naruto spent the following days at Obito and Rin's home.
“And then we ran around the field five more times and sensei gave us stickers with turtles!”
“With turtles?” - Kakashi asked.
“Yes!” - Naruto nodded, his blond hair disheveled and his big blue eyes shining with delight. - “I gave mine to Sakura-chan.”
Kakashi grinned. He had already heard enough stories from Naruto about this girl. The way Naruto excitedly could talk about Sakura for hours reminded Kakashi of Obito as a child. Kakashi had not yet had the chance to meet Sakura and Naruto's other classmates, but he had already learned a lot about them from Naruto's stories. It seemed that the child felt quite comfortable at school. This couldn't help but please Kakashi.
The car stopped smoothly. Kakashi parked and helped Naruto out of the car. The boy ran to the entrance. Hatake exhaled tiredly and followed him.
“Sensei!” - Kakashi heard Naruto's loud voice.
“Naruto!” - came an even louder male voice.
Kakashi looked up and froze. A tall man stood right in front of him. His broad shoulders were covered with an olive shirt that did not hide the inflated body. Kakashi glanced at the man’s figure and swallowed. Then his eyes met the dark brown eyes of the stranger and Kakashi held his breath.
“Nii-chan?” - he heard Naruto's voice and shuddered.
Hatake mentally cursed. He acted like a real idiot. Kakashi smiled welcomingly.
“Hello, you must be Naruto's teacher”, - he said and thanked for the thousandth time his hard training at work to control his emotions.
“Hello”, - the man extended his hand. - “Yes, that is right. Are you Hatake-san?”
Kakashi felt his hand disappear into the man’s wide palm. The teacher's voice turned out to be exactly how Kakashi imagined it. Hatake tried to stop his thoughts before he went too far. What's happening to him? This is their first meeting and this is Naruto's teacher. Kakashi shouldn't act like some sixteen year old who saw a handsome man for the first time. But, to be fair, this man looked simply stunning.
“What can I call you?” - Kakashi asked, breaking the handshake and immediately missing the warmth of the man's hand.
“My name is Might Guy, but you can just call me Guy”, - the man smiled good-naturedly. - “I'm glad to finally meet you, Hatake-san. Naruto talked a lot about you.”
“Yes?” - Kakashi asked casually, processing new information about the man in his head. - “I hope only good things.”
“This is true.”
Silence fell between them. Kakashi couldn't help but notice that the man was also looking him over carefully and very obviously. Hatake was used to such looks from other people, but Guy's dark brown eyes seemed to see right through him.
“Hm, I guess I’ll go”, - Kakashi looked away for a second, trying to collect his thoughts, and then leaned over the boy. - “Rin will pick you up today. Sorry, but you'll have to spend the night with them today. I’ll pick you up tomorrow.”
“Do you promise?” - Naruto’s big blue eyes were filled with sadness mixed with unspoken resentment.
“I promise.”
Naruto hugged him tightly around the waist, Kakashi ruffled his blond hair. Guy watched them with an unreadable expression on his face.
“Well, Naruto, I think it's time for us to let your…”, - Guy hesitated for a second. - “Hatake-san to work. We have so many things planned today!”
Naruto reluctantly let go of Kakashi and extended his hand to Guy.
“S-Sasuke has arrived yet?” - the boy asked with hope in his voice.
“Yes! The young Uchiha is already in class.”
A smile appeared on Naruto's face.
“Come quickly, sensei, I brought my kunai to show him”, - Naruto rushed from his place, pulling the man with him.
Kakashi caught Guy's soft smile before they both disappeared inside the building. Hatake stood on the road for a few more seconds, and then shook his head and headed towards the car.

The Gojo Siblings - Part 1
Disclaimer: The universe and the characters don’t belong to me, they belong to Gege Akutami, I just use them for fun. The original characters are mine as well as this story.
Chapter 1: Another Gojo
Jujutsu Higher-ups Quarters June 2006
“Why are we here?” Asked professor Yaga looking around.
“Professor, we summoned you here to let you know that tomorrow you will have a new student”
“A fourth first year? That's new” he said, interested in the upcoming information.
“This student is a girl. She's a Special Grade sorcerer and... She's a Gojo”
“Another Gojo? But I thought he was an only child”
“She's Satoru’s half sister. His father got married again when his mother died when he was a baby”
They handed him her file “mimetism? And what about the infinity?”
“She can develop an limited infinity because you need the six eyes and there's could be only one user of them and that's Satoru” Yaga nodded “but she has a huge amount of curse energy and she was trained in contact combat, she can use the simple domain and use weapons”
The teacher just read her file and thought “Sakura Gojo... Of course she can do those things, one of the big three clans in Japan could make sure their offspring is capable of fight until they reach high school”
“She will arrive tomorrow from Kyoto. So wait for her and here's a mission to test her abilities” he held a paper with the mission. He will take Yami, his assistant, to lift up the vail “take Nanami or Habara with you”
“Sure but since she's a Special Grade and well trained I guess she will be just fine”
“Still, we don't want her hurt on her first day” said one of the higher-ups “she's the daughter of the former head of the Clan Gojo and sister of the new head” Yaga knows they hate Satoru but neither of them can win a fight against him so they have to act nice around him.
He stood up and left the office and prepare everything with his assistant and the students.
Train Station, the next day.
“Sensei... Why are we here again?” Haibara asked as he was yawning while Nanami brought a can of coke to him.
“Yu... We came here to meet your new classmate”
“Oh yeah!! I'm excited” he smiled and Nanami just had a bored expression “Kento, you are always so bored”
The blonde boy rolled his eyes “and you are always so naive and get excited about everything”
“We need to find happiness or we will be depressed by our last year” he smiled “we are working hard to get better K”
Kento smiled a little and Yu noticed it but didn't mention it.
Then the train from Kyoto arrived and out of it walked a young girl, she was wearing the Jujutsu High uniform, her white hair tied up in a ponytail. She had dark blue eyes and without that brightness that makes the six eyes very distinguished from normal blue eyes.
Nanami was in awe watching her walking to them “Yaga sensei?” She asked when she reached their teacher.
“Yes, nice to meet you Sakura. These are Yu Haibara and Kento Nanami, there's another student in the first year class but he's in a solo mission so you will meet him in a few days”
She nodded and smiled at the two boys “nice to meet you both. I'm Sakura Gojo”
“Gojo like...” Haibara looked excited and with a big smile.
“Yes, like Toru... He's my big brother” she smiled more “is he at the school?” She asked turning to the teacher, he nodded “aww I was hoping to see him again”
“You will when we arrive to the dorms”
“Awesome!” She was just like Satoru, full of energy.
And you could tell that she and Haibara were getting along right away. Nanami hasn't spoken since they met thirty minutes ago. He couldn't deny that she was a gorgeous girl and he kind of liked what he saw but he couldn't mention it nor he would be embarrassed by talking to her, he knew he could screw up if he speaks.
“And where are you from Nanami?” She asked with a kind smile.
“I…I’m from here, from Tokyo” he said and he looked at Haibara who had a little smirk. The blonde man held back to roll his eyes “and you are from Kyoto, like Satoru Gojo, right?”
She nodded “yeah, but I prefer Tokio” she smiled again, she could be the daughter of another woman, but her attitude was just like Satoru “Satoru sent me pictures of him here and sent me threats and I can’t wait to try them”
“I know a nice place, I can share the address to you” he said and Haibara rolled his eyes.
“Why don’t you take me there yourself?” She said in a flirtatious way.
The normally stoic man blushed and was about to talk when Yaga spoke “we are here. Haibara and Gojo you are up. Nanami and I will be here and I will send him in case you need help” then he thought “I doubt a Gojo will need it but… she’s a new student”
Both students got out of the car, she had a katana in her hand “is she going to use a weapon?” They didn’t expect her to use it, considering that Satoru didn’t use one.
“Let’s go” she patted Haibara's shoulder. They joined Yami as he deployed a barrier.
“Good luck” the man in a black suit.
They walked in the barrier and started to look around trying to find their enemy.
“I didn’t expect you to use a katana” said Haibara.
“I use it against curses, I don’t usually show my techniques unless I need to, besides I’m not as good with the infinity, I’m not Satoru”
“I guess since he has the six eyes so he can develop it to its full potential” Haibara said looking at her.
“Exactly” she said and when she was about to talk again, they feel the curse which showed itself and charged towards them.
Sakura unsheathed her katana, adding curse energy and attacking it “wow… she’s fast” thought Haibara. When she reached the curse the black-haired boy didn’t see anything but suddenly the curse was cut in half and the body disappeared.
The vail started to be lifted and the two students walked back to the car “I don’t know why I’m here, she was able to defeat it by herself”
“I hope you aren’t upset Haibara” she said looking down “I cut it without letting you show off”
“Hey… it’s ok. I’m not upset, normally a new student do their first mission with a sempai but I guess you were capable of do this yourself”
She smiled “according to this I’m a Special Grade”
“I’m a Second Grade sorcerer” he looked down feeling sad.
“You had been here longer than me” she said in panic “I guess that’s why Yaga sensei decided to form a team”
“It’s ok” he smiled hiding his sadness then thought “I need to get stronger”
They reached the car, Yaga noticed Haibara’s face “I’m sorry Haibara, you needed motivation to get stronger and I think she is really powerful if this fight lasted just three minutes”
The three got in the car and went to the school and when they arrived there was Satoru, Suguro and Shoko smiling and holding a banner saying WELCOME SAKURA GOJO!! With a small drawing of Gojo on it.
“Idiot” she said under her breath but she had a smile.
She got out and hugged her brother. They were raised together and they trained together so when he left last year she missed him.
“Hello little peanut,” said Satoru with a teasing smile.
“Hey!!! Don’t call me like that” she said blushing looking away.
Suguro and Shoko smiled looking at them and Haibara and Nanami joined them.
“We didn’t have enough with one Gojo… they have to send us two…” said Nanami and the other three nodded, looking at them fighting.
“Well, at least there is a one year gap so we don’t have to deal with them together” added Shoko, again the other three nodded.
“I would recommend you to live at my place, I have plenty of space and it’s better than the dorms here”
She considered this and accepted. She will be living with her brother in Tokyo and she already can call Haibara a friend and Nanami… well she hope to get to know him more.
OOooOOooOO
This something I wanted to do for quite some time, I hope you liked it and if you do, I might continue this little project.
Let me know your thoughts.

Hello!!! It's me again! The anonymous girl who just loves writing traumatized characters for her absurd stories!
-
To Aventurine and Dr. Ratio,
Hi'ya, it's me again! If you two are wondering why me and my 37 classmates, who should be in school and studying, are here homeless and starving... Well... I'll admit, I was serectly playing a video game, (Which is Honkai: Star Rail) in my phone during Science Class, hiding it away from under my seat from my teacher so that she doesn't notice. Then Suddenly my phone flashed a bright light across my classroom, teleporting me and classmates to where we are now, in your universe. Away from our own. So.... if you don't mind... *Gathers all of my classmates, who are a group of teenagers and have alright-ish grades for going to a school that requires you to have a passing grade score of 85 for major subjects and 83 for minor subjects that means including me, around Aventurine and Dr. Ratio with puppy eyes. Begging in the ground near their knees and me holding at least 38 adoption papers.* Are you two willingly to please again adopt us as your temporary children? We bet our parents and teachers wouldn't even notice our disappearance and since we have nowhere to go in the moment... Please?... We promise we will be behaving children. We really need a temporary parental figure to take care of us while trying to find a way back home, especially two father figures who I considered you two. And... Is it alright if you two can also please assist us with our homework? Especially me? Please. I don't even understand a few lessons from a few subjects well😭😢 And maybe even help us with studying for our upcoming final exams? If we can go back to our home universe that is. And... one last thing, I know my requests are already a bit too much, however... can we also please call you two Papa Vasha and Papa Ratio if you sign these adoption papers? Thank you.
-
To Hook,
Hey, Pitch-Dark Hook the Great! I can't help but watch you and your father's relationship blooming into a daughter and father bond. And... since your father might a bit too old to play adventurous games that require an extreme amount of energy with you and the Moles anymore and the fact he might disappear away somewhere in your life as you grow older... *Proceeds to throw a strange blue potion at Fersman, Hook's adoptive father that somehow turns him back to his youthful self, somewhere in his early 20s and runs away quickly as soon as possible.* Bye bye! Enjoy your time with your father's young version of himself!!!! ^^
-
To Welt.
Hello, Mr. Yang!!!! I heard you worked on a very popular animated series mecha robot called 'Arahato' and I have MANY questions to ask you. Do you at least heard of Magical girls? They are sort of like heroes but girls with extraordinary powers gifted by supernatural beings that need their help to save the world from evil, etc. My favorite one has to be Madoka Magica, Mermaid Melody, Toyko Mew Mew, Sakura Card Captor, Powerpuff Girls Z, Salior Moon, Creamy Mami, Fushigi Boshi no Futago Hime Gyu, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, Symophogear, Flowering Heart, Precure, Ojamajo Doremi and the new upcoming Princess Session Orchestra. I'm actually currently making a magical girl show myself called 'Animal Freedom Protectors'. So do you have any advice on making an animated show? I'm open to anything to be honest.
-
To Yanqing,
Omg, Yanqing! I'm so proud of you! The fact you managed to defeat Hoolay with all of strength and power was so incredible! I have seen you fight so well many times before but never like that! I'm sure you already have blown March and Yunli's minds away (not literally). I'm sure General Jingyuan is already proud of you after everything you have been through. The fighting, training... everything was worth it for you to come this far. C'mom! Let's go celebrate your marvelous victory with some food! All on me!
-
To Dan Heng,
Hey, buddy. How's is it going after the recent adventure you have gotten through the Xianzhou? Tiring? I know. By the way, I know this might be invading your personal space... but... since you have your Vidyadhara form... CAN I PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PET YOUR HORNS AND YOUR TAIL? I WILL BE VERY GENTLE I PROMISE! Still, the way you literally throw your pole arm to stab that Vidyadhara elder, who I heard was one of those people who subjected your past self, Dan Feng to punishment, was sick as heck! Also, has anyone in the Express pet your horns and tail before? I bet March, Caelus and Stelle did😏
-
That's all I have for today! ^^
why must you torture my fingers in this way…
-
Aventurine: “Whoa! That’s a, um, certainly interesting story…”
Ratio: “Indeed. It sounds like you all need to get back home.”
Aventurine: “Aww, but Doctor! Why can’t we keep them?~”
Ratio: “No.”
Aventurine: “Fine, then. I’m adopting you all, since Mr. Grumpy over here won’t. And yes, you may call me whatever you’d like~”
Ratio: “Ugh, fine. I guess I’ll help you out…”
Aventurine: “Heh, yay~”
-
Welt: “That’s certainly a lot of questions…I’ve heard of the Magical Girl genre, but I personally haven’t seen any of those shows myself. However, if it’s advice you seek, then…I would probably say to just go easy on yourself. Making a show takes a ton of work, so be patient with yourself.”
-
Yanqing: “Really?! Celebration food?! Yeah, let’s go! Oh, and thanks for the praise!~ I’ll admit, I’m proud of myself for my victory…so it feels good to get recognized for it!”
-
Dan Heng: “Yes, it was quite tiring. But- eh? You want to…pet me? Sure…the others have already done so, as soon as they learned about my Vidyadhara form. Predictable. Hm? Oh…my fighting is ‘sick’? Is that a good thing…?”
-

Propaganda:
Karuto and Lily; I say zombifying your best friend and crush so the two of you can stay together forever is fucked up.
Rika Sasaki and Yoshiyuki Terada: Unfortunately this is a canon ship. Rika's an elementary school girl (so like, 10), while Mr. Terada is her class's teacher, who appears to be in his twenties at least. They apparently got together sometime before the series even started, and have secretly promised to marry each other once Rika is of age. Sakura, who is one of Rika's friends and classmates, knows that Rika has an older boyfriend and speculates that that might be why Rika's so "mature". This relationship is treated as being as sweet and wholesome and pure and loving as any of the other romantic relationships during the series, being basically considered true love.

Okay, the other time I was on pinterest and I found this fanart of "Free!: Next Generation" and i was LIKE: OMG THATS SUCH A COOL CONCEPT!! (If anyone knows the name of the artist please let me know)
Tumblr media
And I can't stop thinking about this universe but, more importantly, I haven't been able to stop thinking about this concept with Sakura participating in it. AAAAAAH 🌸 (ignore my ugly added drawing, it's because I'm insane and i needed to indulge my obsession)
Tumblr media
So yeah, here are some headcanons of Sakura living in this future:
The twins treat him like their cousin and like to help him with his homework.
He feels a special admiration for Hayato, he is the tallest person he knows who is not an adult and he likes being around him (Haru has nothing against Hayato, but he still feels that the fact that his son gets along this well with someone from the Shigino family is karma or something)
He is already determined to go to Iwatobi High School, Rin tells him that before that he should worry about passing his fifth grade exam.
He likes to brag about his parents being Olympic medalists but knows very little about how the Olympics or the swimming competitions themselves work (Misaki he always ends up explaining everything over and over)
Hes the youngest among all of them (he is still in elementary school) meaning he can't help but be treated like a baby (he hates it but takes advantage of it when it comes to food)
The twins take very seriously to accompany him at home when Rin and Haru have a commitment, it makes them happy to be with him "just like Haru-nii was with them"
Sakura suffers the terrible condemnation of having blue eyes (everyone keeps looking at them like if they were a mysterious and rare bug). He likes his eye color because it looks like Papa Haru's but he doesn't like that the attention his classmates give him is just because of that.
Loves to draw and paint! He has many drawings of his parents, family and all his friends including the twins, Misaki and Hayato (although he hasn't shown any to Hayato yet because 'he's so cool, what if he doesn't like it? no, no, I must make one drawing as cool as him')
The kid BITES, either to show affection or as a defensive attack, but he bites (It's worse when he inherited Rin's teeth)
Ran is one of the few girls he has in the family aside for his grandma and auntie Gou, he is very attached to her when playing, he likes her to braid his hair.
His competitiveness may be a problem in class. The old teacher of Iwatobi Elementary can only be shocked at what a boy with the Matsuoka energy and the Nanase stubborness would do. (at least he inherited the intelligence of both)
I got so many more bc im basically insane about Sakura, but these are the first ones that come to mind. anyways, thats it

Ninja From Another Land
Part Three
Here it is, my most popular fic so far. Thank you for reading~
1k words
The cycle of studying with Sakura and training with Sasuke consumed most of your days. On the weekends, Naruto invited you to hang out a lot too because he lived close by. You knew that Naruto needed a friend. For his entire life up to this point, he had been shunned by the village and was lonely. He needed someone to interact with and care about him. That person was going to be you.
“Naruto, if you cleaned up like once a week, you wouldn’t be so overwhelmed when you clean.” You were going through his apartment with a giant garbage bag. You cleared out a ton of trash.
You did two loads of laundry. One was his bedding and the other was his clothes. While those were going you cleaned his bathroom and vacuumed. Surfaces were wiped down and you organized the fridge and his cabinets. While you made his bed, you made Naruto wash his dishes. When the job was done his apartment looked so much better.
“This was a one time service. I can’t stand messes.” You chirped as you took a seat on his clean bed.
“Thanks, (Y/n).” Naruto said sheepishly. “I’ll do my best to keep it clean.”
“Good. The Hokage should be organized and clean.”
You didn’t really get into trouble as you were too busy learning to be a ninja. You spent countless hours alone in your apartment with books from the library. You were currently working on medical jutsu, so you could heal Naruto after he gets himself in trouble pulling a prank.
Sometimes Naruto would skip school to get up to no good. Which brought you to your current situation. Iruka was called away to help bring Naruto back to school.
Since the class was left unattended, students roamed the room. They talked to their friends, but weren’t super disruptive. You decided to take a quick nap at your desk.
“Mind if I join you? People are being so annoying by my spot.” Shikamaru took Sakura’s spot since she was sitting closer to Sasuke.
“Go ahead. Let this be the sanctuary for all those who wish to nap.” You yawned and settled back into a comfortable position to fall asleep in again.
Shikamaru just watched you with his arms crossed and his face blushing. You weren’t such a drag like a lot of his classmates. You actually did a pretty good job of minding your own business. The Nara boy put his head down on the desk next to you and drifted off. The warmth he radiated made your unconscious self shift closer.
You woke up with your head leaned against Shikamaru’s arm. His head rested on yours, providing protection. He quickly separated from you to go back to his seat. Iruka was back with Naruto and he was pissed.
“Listen, Naruto. You failed the last graduation test and the one before that. This is no time to be goofing off!” Naruto couldn’t care less about Iruka’s rant, and it really pissed your teacher off. “That’s it! We’re going to have a re-test on the Transformation Jutsu! Even those who already passed will have to retake it!” The entire class groaned. This was episode one.
Everyone lined up to take the test.
“Sakura Haruno. Here I go…transform!” With a puff of smoke she looked exactly like Iruka.
“You pass.”
“I did it! Did you see that, Sasuke?”
“Next, Sasuke Uchiha!” Iruka called out.
Sasuke transformed into Iruka with ease. Your teacher became a little uncomfortable with your classmates transforming into him, they really didn’t have to.
“Next, Naruto Uzumaki.”
“This is such a drag.” Shikamaru complained.
“This is your fault, we always have to pay for your screw ups.” Ino grumbled.
“As if I care.” Naruto smirked as he went up to transform.
The smoke cleared revealing a naked girl version of Naruto with her long blond hair in pigtails. Convenient smoke covered her breasts and crotch as Naruto blew a kiss towards Iruka. The teacher got a nosebleed.
“Got ya! I call that the Sexy Jutsu!” Naruto laughed boisterously.
“Naruto!! Quit making up idiotic jutsus!”
Through the months you became friends with Shikamaru, Choji, Kiba, and Shino as well as the girls and Naruto. Sasuke didn’t really interact with you much other than the training sessions after school.
When the day of the final exam came you were ready. You put on your konoha fit and showed up ready to pass. Some kids were studying at the last minute while they waited for their turn. You just conserved your chakra for the test.
“We’re about to start the graduation test. When your name is called, proceed to the next classroom. The test is on the Clone Jutsu.” Iruka explained.
Sakura went before you, so you had a mostly one sided conversation with Hinata about her seasonal color analysis because you were going to help her find confidence in herself by helping her control an aspect of her life such as the colors she wears to compliment her appearance. You would not let your home girl walk around without knowing what she looks good in. You were too fabulous to let your friends be unstylish. Not that she was ever unfashionable, you were just giving suggestions. She was totally a soft summer.
Your turn finally arrived, and Hinata wished you luck. You quickly thanked her as you hurried off to the examination room. Once inside, the examiners brought their full attention upon you. You immediately noticed the selection of headbands awaiting those who passed. You were going to get one of those.
You put your hands up in the correct sign and focused your chakra. With a puff of smoke three figures identical to you appeared. You held their existence until Iruka and Mizuki told you that you passed. With their blessing, you took a (color) headband.
You reached a major milestone in your journey. Graduating from the ninja academy was just the beginning. Being tested yet again and being put on a team was the next step, and it would determine how much of the story you would influence.
Once everyone was done testing, them and their parents gathered around the academy. Congratulations were going around and so many parents were proud of their children. Naruto sat alone on the infamous swing.
“Look over there. That’s the boy. I heard he’s the only one who failed.” One lady said to another.
“Good. Imagine what would happen if he became a ninja.” The other replied with contempt.
“Honestly. Don’t you have anything better to do than talk shit about a child?” You glared up at them.
“You- You’re the one who graduated at the top of the class with Sasuke Uchiha!”
“That’s right. Don’t mess with my buddy, Naruto, ya hear?” You fixed them with a glare that could have burned them alive.
To celebrate your graduation, you, Hinata, Sakura, and Ino had a sleepover. Sakura and Ino were passive aggressive towards each other the whole time while Hinata tried to mediate to no avail. You just cracked jokes and ate constantly.
Getting a positively mischievous idea, you requested the attention of your friends.
“Let’s play a game from where I’m from. It’s called truth or dare. We spin a bottle and whoever spins it asks the person it points to ‘truth or dare’. If you pick truth, you have to answer a question truthfully. And if you pick dare then you have to do whatever they dare you to do.”
Ino and Sakura immediately agreed. Hinata became nervous, so you assured her that she wouldn’t have to do anything crazy. With that, you found a glass bottle and placed it in the middle of the circle you sat in on your bed.
“Since I suggested the game, I’ll spin first.” The bottle pointed to Ino. “Truth or dare?”
“Dare.” She said after a moment of thought.
“I dare you to give your best impression of a person of your choice who isn’t Sakura.” The ending was necessary. Ino faked a yawn before letting a bored expression cross her face.
“This is such a drag.” The way she deepened her voice and made it sound annoyed had you and Sakura doubling over in laughter.
“Sh-Shikamaru?!” Hinata flushed in surprise at the insinuation.
“Alright!! You spin the bottle now.” You brought the attention back to the bottle between you.
“Sakura! Truth or dare?”
“Truth.” Sakura chose carefully.
“What would you wear on a date?”
“I’d wear a light colored dress with puffy sleeves and a full skirt that stops just above the knees.” Sakura said dreamily as she imagined it.
“That’s so childish. A full skirt? Really??” Ino snickered.
“Chill Regina George, we’re still like 12.” You pointed out. Even though you weren’t mentally 12, it was nice to have some of your childhood back.
“Who’s that?”
“She’s a mean girl, but like an icon. The it girl of her school.” You explained.
“I can live with that.” Ino shrugged.
The four of you decided to do karaoke after truth or dare. Well, Hinata didn’t really pick anything, she just went with what everyone else wanted to do. Not that she really minded though. All of the songs Sakura and Ino sang were very unfamiliar to you. You thought about your choices for your turn.
Genres:
Rock- Teenagers by My Chemical Romance
Hip Hop/R&B- No Scrubs by TLC
Pop- Die Young by Kesha
Alt- Why’d You Only Call Me When You’re High by Arctic Monkeys
“Okay my song is called (your song).” You said before singing. When you finished, the girls stared at you.
If you chose:
Rock
“That song was certainly…interesting.” Ino sweat dropped.
“Kind of weird.” Sakura lied as her inner self actually vibed with it. Hinata looked a little bit intimidated.
Hip Hop/R&B
“I love that! I only want the best man…Sasuke.” Ino squealed.
“Too bad you’ll have to settle for someone else.” Sakura told her.
“Let’s not fight now…” Hinata nervously piped in.
Pop
“That was a good one.” Sakura said cheerfully.
“Makes me wanna dance.” Ino swayed from side to side.
“So fun.” Hinata whispered.
Alt
“That had a nice sound to it.” Hinata commented dreamily.
“Not really my vibe.” Sakura shrugged.
“I liked it.” Ino side-eyed Sakura.

I’m literally cackling thinking about Shino’s reaction to everything that went down. He would have been praying for both Sasuke and Sakura’s downfall since day one, but this is a declaration of war.
Maybe Naruto and Sasuke somehow still had the kiss happen and Shino was just in the background buzzing like an angry eldritch god. Or he saw Sakura hit naruto one time and decided one day she would die vry painfully and be humiliated.
Shino has never liked the Haruno girl or the Uchiha.
Both of them have swatted at the stragglers in his hive more than once (the girl had actually screamed when she did it then called him a plethora of names that had Naruto vibrating with anger next to him) both of them were childish and arrogant at best seeing themselves as so much more than the rest of them regardless of the fact that the race for the top was far closer than either of them were willing to admit.
Worst of all, however is how they treated Naruto.
Most of the class was, if not friendly, then willing to ignore his friend for the most part. There was his odd not-friendship with Kiba that persisted through the years, and the fondness he had of both the Nara and Akimichi, but most of the rest of their class had taken one look at those fangs slick with venom and decided that polite distance was their best option.
Their loss, truthfully. There was never a more devoted friend than Naruto.
(Not that Shino was offering to share. He had been the one to see Naruto’s worth from the beginning.)
But Haruno and Uchiha had never been the same way.
He remembered Iruka-sensei watching him out of the corner of his eye the first time the girl had hit Naruto in annoyance, even as their teacher rushed forward to correct the behavior. The buzzing of the hive filled the classroom. So loud that Iruka-sensei had to raise his voice to be heard over them. Most of their classmates had edged away from him with wary eyes and disgusted expressions. Not Naruto who tucked himself under Shino’s arm and asked loudly with their teacher only feet away if Shino wanted to skip the rest of the day (Iruka-sensei didn’t even try to stop them.)
The less said about the Uchiha the better. It had taken all of Shino’s self control not to lungs at him when Naruto was knocked practically on top of him and their lips met only days after he realized he was head over heels in love with his best friend.
But this?
This?
Naruto sobbing into his chest, gasping out mangled explanations and apologies between each one. The horrible truth of what had happened on Team Seven’s first and only mission out of the safety of the village.
(That the two of them had nearly let Naruto die twice?)
His father met him at his bedroom window that night after he had claimed to go to sleep, hands tucked into his jacket and a single eyebrow raised high enough to be seen over his sunglasses.
“Go back inside, Shino.”
Shino’s hive buzzed loud enough that he almost didn’t hear the order. His fists clenched on the window sill so tightly the wood creaked.
“They hurt him,” Shino spat voice shaking, buzzing in his rage.
His father nodded. “And they are being punished. You can go help him if you are thrown in prison for killing your fellow Shinobi.”
“Technically they aren’t Shinobi anymore.” His father did not look impressed at the distinction.
Shino can’t breathe, poised halfway out his window with his father watching him and the horrors Naruto had confessed to him only Horus before. Can’t think of anything except.
“They hurt him,” He says again, weaker now. Defeated more than enraged.
His father comes closer, climbs up to meet him in the window and pulls him in to a side hug (the first hug Shino can remember from his father in a long time. Physical affection is not their clan’s way.)
“I know,” His father says.
Shino sags against him. Neither of them move until the first light of morning breaks over the horizon.

Not sure anyone will read/care about this but I need a spot to vent about this whole "Idols "recommending" Made in Abyss" thing that's currently trending on twitter because I feel like I'm losing my mind (also I have no one else to talk about this).
So, one tweet from an unverified account posted that several idols were out here promoting and recommending the manga/anime Made in Abyss to their fans... and like... that's not at all what happened? One of them mentioned in a live off hand that he was going to watch it (along with a list of other shows), but stated he probably wouldn't finish them because he was currently touring. He apparently has never brought it up again. Another had a volume on the floor in the corner of a photo he took on his instagram story. He has also never talked about it before or since.
I have not read or watched Made in Abyss, but I follow several anime accounts online and basically every single person was recommending this show when it came out in 2017. It's still highly regarded in the anime community. I have never seen a single person ever speak about the "sexual" moments in it. I was curious and decided to read the first 3 chapters and... yeah, there's one part right in chapter 1 that has a pretty gross illustration of the child protagonist, which I'm not going to go into more detail here because it did make me extremely uncomfortable. I will note that apparently the South Korean version of the manga/anime is heavily censored and also rated mature, but I've not seen what the censoring in question looks like, so I don't know how much they could have read/watched that in, say, the North American/Japanese versions.
My overall opinion, after sleeping on this, is that calling these idols predators or worse is an extreme over-exaggeration. I'm not surprised people are saying this because the tendency for fandoms to overreact and be the morality police are worse than ever before, but if we're really cancelling these people for reading "problematic" fiction/dead dove content, then I'd be right alongside them.
From my physical manga collection alone, I can name three series I own that would get me cancelled:
After the Rain: protagonist, a high school girl, falls in love with an older man (mid-40s?) who serves her at a family diner. She starts working there, and they develop a friendship. Spoiler: nothing happens between them
Cardcaptor Sakura: pretty well known magical girl series so I won't go into the plot, but like.... looking back on it, there were a TON of age-gap romances in here, one of which being a teacher and an elementary school student. I remember being in elementary school and reading it for the first time and being weirded out by it. Spoiler: nothing happens here either (though I have not read the clear card sequel series)
Daytime Shooting Star: Romance with a love triangle between her teacher (wow I'm realizing I read a lot of age gap/teacher/student stuff) and a classmate. Spoiler: she doesn't end up with her teacher!!
I can think of a ton of other non-anime related examples of "problematic"/dark fiction that I love too: Game of Thrones, Last of Us, House of Leaves, My Dark Vanessa.... One of the best books I've read last year was about a cannibal. I guess to twitter, I am also a cannibal?
I think the unfortunate reality of being an anime fan is that basically 80% of the shit out there has "problematic" elements to it, or as I like to call it, "anime bullshit". And I think a lot of kpop fans have not actually watched anime or read manga and aren't aware of this.
You're allowed to feel uncomfortable with fiction. You're allowed to be weirded out that an idol likes a dark manga that has children as the main protagonists, where awful things happen to them. But at the same time, people are allowed to read dark content as well and that does NOT make them pedos, abusers, etc. That is a horrible accusation to make against someone, especially with no proof other than the fact that they may or may not own a volume of an extremely popular manga series. I really feel like the internet as a whole does not realize that words have meaning, and accusing someone of such vile behavior because of the fiction they may or may not read is just... insane. It's insane behavior. Please go outside.
Anyway if you read all of this, congrats. I'm basically word vomiting this all out at 6 am because I'm bad at sleeping. Would love to hear anyone else's thoughts on the matter honestly!

Some thoughts on Cardcaptor Sakura and destined love.
Okay so a theme by the people who made Cardcaptor Sakura is love is love. Age gaps and circumstances or gender won’t stop the feelings so to speak because its destiny. and there are ships that overlap looks throughout other works by the same team who made cadcapture sakura.
But I think what I find most fascinating is I actually think two of the main ships aren’t actually destined love despite what overlapping character models would have you believe(looking at you tsbasa chronicles)...what makes them strong is they are defying destiny.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
these two ships are  Sakura x Syaoran and Yukito x Touya.
it sounds crazy but here me out because I actually think the base for my theroy makes sense.
One of the ‘destined’ loves the show brings up is Sakura’s mother and father who fell in love as a teacher and a student(yes is sus on principle, it being sus isnt exactly relevant but it must be repeated for the people who didn’t figure it out).
A second(spoilers) is a relationship or deep love implied from Yue(a moon powered spirit towards/between the Original Card Captor Master Clow from centuries before.
and technicallya relationship counted that I don’t want to count since I hate it and isn’t even in the anime at all but I will mention since it may help you see the pattern is the teacher with one of sakura elementary classmates.
Touya actually takes after his mother in not just spiritual awareness but also taste as he actually falls for a lady teacher with spirit powers/is a priestess/shine maiden of some kind when he was in middleschool(again even more sus..not entirely relevant but it bears repeating).
Sakura also has an interest in an older boy the same age as Touya named Yukito. in her case its while Yukito(seemingly) is in highschool while she is in elementary.
Something I noticed was a patturn of an older person getting with potentially younger student.
its easy to forget since sakura x syrean and yukito x touya seem so obvious endgame.
but for the majority of the series Sakura was in love steadfastly with Yukito. Yukito is very sweet to Sakura throughout the series. Sakura was also the one who became the Cardcaptor connected to the cards(not touya), which is connected to Yue(Yukito arguably real/original personality that is centuries old and guardian to the cards that sees if the owner is worthy). and Yue had been deeply in love with Master clow who had made the cards originally. Arguable Sakura was destined to be very close to Yukito on both sides and it was implied that Yue might have gotten close to Touya to get close to Sakura and specifically the cards in their house in the guise of Yukito. the sweet is very hungry best friend of Touya. it would be very easy to argue for Sakura and Yukito as a ship in theroy based on these aspects.
I had thought that it was only logic to dismiss yukito x sakura as a ship because of the age aspect....but there was a conversation between Master Clow and Sakura that gave me a hint that Sakura and Yukito had actually been destoned to be with eachother because Master Clow had actually predicted that would have been the case of Yukito/Yue returning her feelings near the end of the series.
but of course...if your paying attention that is NOT the case....which made me think about WHY that wasn’t the case.
A major aspect is of course that Yukito had actually fallen for Touya. Sakura’s brother.
But if Clow knew of Sakura then it would make sense if he actually could antipate accurately the idea that yukito/yue wouldn’t fall for Touya.
What I think he hadn’t antipated was TOUYA’S destined love choosing to step aside.
as much as people like to treat Touya’s love for the teacher as just a redherring to cover his love for yukito....its actually more fascinating if its sincere. He had brought up he had someone he loved before(like when the girl from the play confessed) which we all assumed was yukito until it was revealed later from Sakura seeing the past by a tree he was actually in love with a female teacher/priest/shrine maiden.
She is someone who its implied can see or predict the future as she tells Touya when she leaves abroad that he is destined to fall for someone else and she is destined to fall for someone else as well abroad so they should part and not fight it.
What I think would be interesting is if she actually IS Touya’s destined love...but her choice to leave and say that to Touya actually left an opening to challenge destiny which she did on purpose.
its arguable that if she had stayed or if she had kept in contact with Touya or didn’t cut off his hope before she left like that Touya would still be loyally in love and end up with her. The same as his mom did with his dad or that weird waiting game for the teacher and sakura’s classmate.
In that scenerio where his love with the Teacher wasn’t cut off Touya wouldn’t have been as focused on Yukito(even with the hypothetic that Touya isn’t romantically in love with yukito yet in the main timeline since technically a prerequisite for yukito falling for touya isnt touya returning romantic love) and so hypothetically could have gotten more attached to sakura since Touya would have been clearer on not being available romantically since he would have the idea the teacher returns his feelings.
In that hypothetical scenario yukito might have had less reason to turn down sakura’s confession or even sakura would have less reason to accept the rejection if Touya was not a romantic hurdle due the teacher being stronger in his heart.
A second aspect is that teacher actually deals with the reincarnation of Clow in the show. If she was strait forward with Sakura or Touya early on about clow that could have had a very different aspect when it comes to yukito and sakura. as much as the fandom likes to pretend her saying touya will find someone and she will fall for someone abroad to imply she fell for that kid..she doesn;t actually seem into that literal child reincarnation. SHe also seems aware of some of Clow’s plans or how some of the tests work due to how her family had a connection or role passed down from being connected to the original Clow.
Yue is technically the real original personality of Yukito with Yukito being a amnesiac version with a different personality that is suppoused to fade or disappear once Yue awakens...the reason Yukito is able to say is the strong bond he had created with Sakura but also Touya’s spirit powers helping.
If Touya was less in love with Yukito he might have not given up his powers or might have been too late to help him.
And of course another aspect that Clow failed to predict was one of his descendants Syaoran.   Clow had predicted that Yue/Yukito and sakura would have returned feelings.
but its clear throughout the series that Syaoran and Sakura have a built up friendship and support. if Syaoran was there less then yukito/Yue and Sakura most likely would have bonded more. even during that last battle/test where Sakura was struggling to focus on turning the darkness and light card for her own....she succeeded....but she succeeded because Syaoran was there for her and supporting her that things would be okay.
Syaoran entered the chat and helped sakura grow and have someone to bounce off of and who could understand her feelings at times(like feelings toward yukito or unrequited feelings).
Clow had predicted that Sakura would succeeded and become a master of all the cards but it this Syraon hadn’t been there to steady her when she was freaking out at the idea that everyone would stay asleep she might not have been able to succeed the way she did. and sakura might not have realized it...but she was starting to feel something a bit special to syroan that probably helped sooth or make her feel better after getting rejected by yukito.
and if the teacher hadn’t been there to advise the reincarnated Clow there might have been some extra drama when it came to Yue and the reincarnated Clow. or heck its possible the reincarnated Clow and his group might not have made it in time properly to help test Sakura’s growth to push her to adapt the cards quickly.
the pattern had been Sakura’s mom and dad(age gap teacher disciple)
Sakura’s teacher and her class mate(age gap teacher disciple)
master clow and yue(age gape master disciple)
potential ship of yue and reincarnated master clow(age gape sort of master disciple exs)
the lady teacher and Touya(teacher disciple)
and yukito/yue and sakura(age gap with the odd master servant thing with her being a carcaptor)
yet what broke the mold was Touya and Yukito(who are the same age grade wise with Yue not REALLY being factored in) who are best friends throughout the show and building up moments of care together.
and Syaoran and Sakura who start of as rivals to each other for the cards and in love(or crush on yukito) and eventually friends and supporters of each other to fall for each other(or at least deeply care on her end which hasn’t had time to develop yet with love towards her on Syaoran ’s end.
the great Master Clow could predict and have plans for so many things...yet his prediction about love wasn’t correct.
So that is my argument that Sakura and Touya ended up not with their destined loves but love forged through choice and friendship and time.
I also like this theroy because it makes Touya’s first love the teacher kind of cooler in changing destiny because it would be healthier for him to be with someone his own age. giving up your true love to save the Yukito part that would have been destined to fade or die away if Touya’s dynamic with Yukito had been even a little weaker. saving the Clow reincarnation and Yue from chasing the past in each other. and Sakura gets to succeed in a way different from what Clow had predicted. and it gives a happy ending to Sakura with someone her own age as well.
It  would also make her worth of Touya’s love even if this is the timeline they aren’t going to be together because in my eyes... by choosing to let him go she gave better more possibilities to Touya and because age gap underage, let alone teacher student romance is NOT okay. for a teacher to be worthy of that love they shouldn’t return it or should be the adult and put a stop to it.
She also didn’t get much time to shine in the anime so her having that much of a impact would be interesting and kind of make the weird age gap aspect through cardcaptor sakura have an extra purpose.
It would also have an interesting contrast with the previous generation that sakura’s generation parallels. her mother got with her age gap teacher(the dad) and might have been happy and had two kids(sakura and Touya) but ended up cut off from her family. her cousin who had a weird crush in her was more bitter but in the end the mom died and everyone mourned and never properly made up. the age gap(and more importantly the teacher student aspect) had really negative affects on the people around the mom even if it could be argued she was happy with her love(the dad who was sketchy for going along with it but did seem to have  a good relationship with her).
to contrast and parallel how sakura’s sort of cousin who has a crush on her just wants her to be happy). how sakura and touya have older crushes(especially touya’s who was a teacher) and yue/yukito being ridiculous age wise on the yue side and highscool on the yukito side. just like the mom had on the dad. only unlike the dad who accepted the mom.....yukito rejected sakura and touya’s teacher left him for his own good. and even Syaoran who loved sakura did leave but gave a health space and communication to develope things because there is time. ...so yukito is saved in the long run as a personality, yue is given more closure. and connects were remade...not lost.

You wanna call Cardcaptor Sakura made for pedophiles so badly. Girl, just go ahead.
Maybe it's because I have no nostalgia goggles for the series. I tried reading the collector's edition I saw for sale in Barnes & Noble during the covid lockdowns.
Bruh, the subplot between one of Sakura's classmates & their teacher was just plain creepy. These kids are in elementary school. There is no explanation that isn't just pedophilia. I got bored of the main plot after Sakura got all the cards back, so I never saw the resolution of that subplot. But at no point up until then did I see any indication of the story that the relationship should be considered unethical by the reader.
Like, at least Sakura's dad was attracted to Sakura's mom at 16!!!! No, that isn't much better, but at least she wasn't an pre-pubescent child
