He meets so many new people at that airport, most of whom he pretty much instantly forgets because his brain is fried, so who knows which one it was. He doesn't have time to even notice and process the change until he's in Wakanda having a last second epiphany that cryo hurts way more than usual...

so we already know that Outis is a woman who wasn't unwilling to throw others under the bus to further her own goals - not unlike odysseus + she's like. probably a war criminal

based off her current vibes ALONE she's likely already lost men under her command (due to her own mistakes) (I'm bringing up the cyclops incident) (she's in a constant state of regret but the last thing she'd do is admit that) and then purposefully sacrificed those under her command during the smoke war to continue pushing forward (to get to her wife + kid) (she's losing her shit the longer she's away from them) (project moon she has a wife and kid you can't take this away from me)

Odysseus's entire goal after like. yk. casually starting a war. and killing off a child that he was told was gonna grow up and kill him and all of his family despite his desire to NOT do that, specifically pushed by the gods was getting back to his wife and child no matter the consequence

so part of me wonders if Outis had a very similar arc in her young adult life but w/ higher ups (which you could equate to the gods) where she HAD to make difficult choices she didn't want, but when she went against her higher-ups (COUGH COUGH POSEIDON IS THAT YOU DROWNING MOST OF ODYSSEUS'S MEN??? BC HE ONLY BLINDED YOUR SON??????) that resulted in consequence

if we go by the Odyssey's logic, then what we're gonna be looking at is basically the "oh shit it's Circe" arc and beyond + I also wonder if Dante will act as Outis's Athena in a way, giving her what she needs to keep pushing forward

can't wait for the woman to kick down the door and run back to her wife and son only for it to end in some sort of tragedy 🫶🫶🫶
