I have been going back and forth on these for so long?? These are technically the first drawings I ever did of Neil or Allison, they're part of a bigger conglomerate but I don't love the drawings that I did for all of them.,. I keep coming back to these two, though! haha I love them! They're besties, I'm convinced.

The setting sun was illuminating Andrew’s golden strands like a halo, highlighting his profile. Simultaneously, the sunset painted the sky with pink and purple and Neil who just recently got into photography wanted nothing more to capture this. With a cigarette in his hand, Andrew was nothing short of a masterpiece and Neil had to remind himself to breathe.

He ran inside their apartment and frantically searched for his camera and ran back out to the balcony where Andrew had turned towards him.

Neil answered his unasked question, “I want to capture the view.”

Andrew stubbed his cigarettes and started to head back inside.

“No,” Neil’s hand snagged onto Andrew’s palmetto hoodie, Neil’s hoodie to be exact. “The view.” He emphasised and pulled Andrew back to his original spot. It really showed how far they had come when Andrew wordlessly went back to where he was standing.

Andrew stood facing Neil with his blank face. Neil took a couple of pictures before asking Andrew to stand the way he was standing before. Rolling his eyes, Andrew turned his back towards Neil again. Neil’s hoodie was already oversize but Neil swore he could see Andrew’s back muscles outlined against his hoodie.

“Are you satisfied?” Andrew turned his head towards Neil once again. Neil had the wildest thought that maybe it was Andrew’s jawline that cut all those scars into him. If only.

With his hair highlighted by the sun and the pink and purple background, one of the cats had hoped onto the balcony and Andrew petting King, Neil captured the perfect photo.

“Perfectly,” Neil grins, he walked towards his masterpiece and wrapped his arms around Andrew’s shoulders. They stood on their balcony, in their apartment with their cats and Andrew in Neil’s hoodie and arms, and watched as the sun finally sank behind the horizon. The pink and purple had disappeared and gold that could never rival Andrew’s hair painted the sky. Neil never really looked at the sky but now he could not stop.

Beautiful, Neil thought, admiring the sky for another second before dropping a kiss to Andrew’s hair.

All for the game au where everything is exactly the same but instead of playing exy it's some kind of academic decathlon and they go just as hard. Neil absolutely bodies every math question and Kevin's undefeated in history. Aaron obviously handles everything bio. Andrew is an absolute academic weapon because of his eidetic memory but he doesn't give a single fuck about any of it so he only ever answers questions when no one else knows the answer.

Renee's incredible with religious studies and Allison WRECKS the other teams with anything art/music related. Dan is a chemistry and physics wizard and could probably be building bombs or going to space but instead she's essentially playing team jeopardy. Matt's reign is English because I ran out of subjects and I can imagine him dramatically reading Shakespeare monologues out loud in his free time.

The mafia still exists and so do the Ravens and riko was still trying to build a "perfect court" which I think makes the face tattoo thing funnier because it's just as intense but they're all nerds.

Instead of Neil fangirling over exy racquets he's really impressed by the little buzzer things you push during competitions and the elaborate, color coded flashcard system the Foxes come up with.

breaking my silence to say i think kevin would absolutely devour stardew valley. yes he would be too busy creating the most efficient farm you have ever seen to romance or even befriend the characters but after successfully creating a monopoly on truffle oil and diamonds in the valley he would take a short break from business to marry the town doctor

As a certified huge nerd, I think about what it would look like for the foxes to play dungeons and dragons together. I think Nicky would be the DM bc he has a big imagination and way with words. Kevin would be really into min maxing his character (definitely a wizard) and meta gaming. Andrew wouldn’t play but would backseat DM or help Neil with his rogue. Allison would definitely be a college of glamour bard. Renee would be a paladin (religion AND bad ass fighting duh). Aaron would maybe be a cleric or another healer class. Matt would be a human fighter. Dan could be a barbarian or a monk I think, but I have a harder read on her.

Anyway, I just think that’s neat!

AND! I cannot stop thinking about Allison setting her *private* school on fire as an act of rebellion against her parents' despotism.

Also like her entire life before the foxes, how she survived private school and "family dinners", what other acts of rebellion she performed, who the main influence in her life was and what friends she might have had.

That led to me somehow spending the day mulling over the possibilities and coming up with some headcanons of my own lol

Kyoko was a breath of fresh air. She was a power to behold, a wild creature, a force of nature. She knew life for what it was, knew all the escape routes and all the ways to make life of bored aristocratic kids better. She was the one to teach Allison kissing — years later after the arson and the giddy feeling of getting away with it, because Kyoko had also taught them how to never get caught. It was their little secret, their "girls' girl" moment, thin and intimate and so much like a dream full of whispered "let me help you" and breathless "okays" in response.

After that, Allison put her knowledge into practice with Clara's older brother Zane. He thought he was the first although her lips were already bruised from pushing into Kyoko's willing mouth until it felt like suffocating and they had to come up for air.

Zane was older, seemed more mature and wore the bad boy attitude like a leather Prada jacket. Allison had long ago realized that soft wasn't her type. Sheep wrapped in school uniform jackets didn't catch her attention. She wanted cracks of lightning, someone wild and untamed and interesting. Rough edges and careful touches.

It didn't work out with Zane in the end though because her parents approved of him, and she never agreed to anything they thought would be best for her.
