Listen, I don't have a wip folder per se, I just have a bunch of opened tabs (and even a tab folder cuz i couldn't read my tab names anymore 👀 the folder is literally called 'fic wips', oops?) Anyway, I go back and forth between fics all the time, like. Right now I'm working on 'rain surprising phayu' but the day before I worked on 'evil warlock phayu' and before that I worked on 'serial killer phayu captured pai' WHILE I WAS STILL WORKING ON THE PREVIOUS PART OF THE SERIES. Listen, I'm a mess. You don't wanna see the inside of my head, just- just skip it.

Wulfric Thursday - a fic about wyler's son, he's the first child (that i most prob post on ao3 once Hyde The Past is done since the two are connected, i think i actually need someone with me to think of ideas and be crazy together its a little too much to take, a wide universe. There are 3 current chapters.)

Valentina Francoise - a fic about wyler's daughter, the younger sister (wont say much but she's the best and worst combination of her parents. there's only one chapter and its mostly notes.)

Girl Next Door - this fic was either tyler would be the new kid who moved into town or it was Wednesday. it was hard to decide but i think i settled with Wednesday. I don't know if this would come to life though, wish me luck. there are no chapters. yet.)

I'm super torn on whether Ocelot ever actually directly tells Big Boss that he's attracted to him, purely out of such a fucked up yandere level of hero worship. Especially before the Ground Zeroes incident I think he assumes a) that his feelings go without saying and b) that bibo is indestructible, and GZ is a huge wake up call for him. I have a fic in my wip folder about this exact thing because I'm obsessed with ocelot I am genuinely rotating him in my brain at all times. :3

Meanwhile Kaz is extremely straightforward. I feel like he has some fucked up ideas about masculinity and sexuality early on, but hey, gay people tend to congregate around all the snakes in large numbers, so any internalized homo/biphobia that he might have had has to evaporate pretty quickly. He definitely makes the first move on Bibo, he tries the moves that he uses on (many, many) women, and ends up getting absolutely plowed.

Big Boss, to me, is an autistic aroace king who doesn't really *get* sex and/or romance, but is down to fuck if only because he knows it's something other people put a lot of value on and it feels good, and as an extension of hand-to-hand combat. Because of that sex-as-an-extension-of-combat mindset I feel like he doesn't bottom much if ever (maybe, *MAYBE* if the Boss were into pegging, but lbr she's probably a lil too homophobic for that).

Kaz is cool with that, especially in the early MSF days. It's like having a tiger on a leash. He basically has a supersoldier to fuck him senseless.

I think maybe BB and Ocelot meet quietly on occasion through the MSF days, but if they fuck at all in this time it's mostly just what BB kind of assumes he's supposed to do, from interacting with Kaz. tbh Ocelot gets off from the weirdest shit so anything *real* is just a bonus.

Ocelot is *extremely* jealous of Kaz, not just for the sex, but for even getting to see Bibo on a regular basis. This fic is basically to me what I think their first meeting would/should be like (actually this whole series of fics is so good i recommend it): https://archiveofourown.org/works/37886539

(There's another fic that I looked for very quickly but couldn't find that includes Ocelot saying a line like "I just wanted to see what all the buzz was about" after they fuck, it may also be a part of that series, but I'm struggling rn lol)

Ocelot pretends it's not jealousy and is instead a totally justified dislike. Definitely thinks of him as Zero's slutty lapdog. He spends the time between MGS3/PO (take your pick on canonicity) and GZ keeping tabs on Snake for what he pretends are totally professional, impersonal, non-obsessive reasons. This is not true, obviously. Definitely hopes that Kaz is dead in the devastation.

Goes on an enormous bender between the attack and finding out that Bibo is alive, maybe the only time that he really, truly lets himself completely lose control. Definitely think at least once he gets REAL fucking close to ODing and gets to talk to the Sorrow for a lil bit. Might be how he finds out Snake isn't dead/won't die.

If they haven't at least hooked up anonymously before, Kaz and Ocelot definitely start to in this 9 year gap. Ocelot knows a lot about the human body and does some fancy acupunctury/knife-y stuff to help with the pain from his injuries because, y'know, they're stuck together for now.

Ocelot totally fucks Kaz because he's the person closest to Big Boss left in the world. Ocelot isn't much of a top himself, but he tops Kaz just to figure out what he's used to, using Kaz to build up this mental model of how Big Boss must fuck using the negative space he's left behind.

I genuinely think that up to this point they REALLY could have saved one another. They're one another's perfect foil, they cover one another's weaknesses, Kaz is all rage on his own behalf but doesn't know when to cut ties, Ocelot refuses to grow a single vertebra if it might inconvenience Big Boss.

I do think that Ocelot spent a lot of time at Zanzibarland, and that Kaz intentionally helped time Intrude F014 for a time that Ocelot wouldn't be there, from some lack of desire to kill his...complicated ex lover.

I think Ocelot would absolutely be furious that he wasn't let die with his boss, and intentionally lets Kaz live in 2005 as punishment (I like biblical allusion and so the idea of Kaz living the story of Cain/Pontius Pilate's doorman, cursed to live a wandering life until the second coming of jesus, or in Kaz's situation, the third(?) coming of Big Boss makes me kick my feet and giggle)

Gonna stop for now cause this is getting like. Comedically long for what you asked lol. But I am more than willing to talk about this forever i love them they're my favorite toxic barbies

Hiii omg hiii yes I assume you're talking abt the faery wip/These Dark and Lovely Woods cuz it's not my only faery wip but it's the only one with art sooo yeah!

It's my oldest babiest baby, I started writing it around 2016 and finished it a few years back, it's been sort of sitting in my Scrivener folders for ages now because idk what to do with it. I have been fiddling with an outline for the second book in the trilogy but there's nothing concrete yet.

It has a side blog @the-overgrowth, but it's not super active right now aside from the occasional aesthetic reblog.

Anyway, it's about Sidra Carver, a 19-year-old weirdo who lives in the woods because she's a weirdo who's never seen without her stupid hat BUT she has a stepsister, Sinéad, whom she loves more than anything. But then Sinéad gets kidnapped by a fae, and the fae bastard curses the rest of town to forget Sinéad ever existed. But Sidra manages to break out of the curse and goes into the fae woods to find her. But! She gets dunked on pretty hard on account of the fae creatures having an appetite for human meat, so she needs help figuring out how to save Sinéad. Enter Valerien (big guy with pointy ears) who's like "I can help. For a Price." and Sidra's like "ok what's the price" and he's like "I'm not telling 💅"

And then it turns out he's fucking CURSED and Sidra might be the only person that could save him, too? So she's like ok. I gotta save my little sister first, then I need to solve this douche's problem as well.

And he is a true douche like it's not even funny how annoying he is, but his dysfunctional ass is fucked up in the same way Sidra is so she's like "omg ... is he kinda ... my people???" and spends the last third of the first book trying to pretend he isn't fine as hell while also planning to die saving Sinéad. Because Sidra is insane and deeply unwell.

Uuuh. That's it, really!! It's a planned trilogy so that's not the end of it, but only the first book is done so far!

Yeah, I’m not gonna lie, I have soooo many WiPs I’m not gonna be able to tag as many people on here. XD It’s not even a humble brag, I’m just a mess of a 40-year-old with too many ideas and not enough time to put them all down in writing. But I’m working on it! One idea at a time. :3 So bear with me, everyone. Moar HankCon (and other pairings) will be in all our futures.

The Kamski Experience - When a team of struggling documentary filmmakers get an invitation to the secret location of Elijah Kamski's newest stab at hospitality, they expect an exclusive peek into the mind of the reclusive genius.

But when the work weekend turns into a deadly game of chess with a masked serial killer, they must each pass a personally customized death trap in order to escape - or die trying.

Wayfarer - AU take on the movie Passengers, but if it were a thriller and the main character and love interest were more equal partners right from the start.

When You’re a Stranger - AU take on the movie Deliver us Fom Evil, in which Connor is a homicide investigator with a psychic streak, and Hank is a (derobed) Lutheran priest now working as freelancing exorcist.

Heart/Soul - set five months after the end of the game. Starting with Connor taking a leap of faith on stage, declaring his love for Hank with an old power ballad from the '80s.

Monochromat - a story set a few months after my first massive HankCon fic, Metamorph; When androids first start disappearing for no apparent reason, there’s no obvious signs of foul play, but then android bodies start showing up all over Detroit. Android life and death semantics aside, it would seem there is a serial killer on the prowl.

Then, to make matters worse, one of the original leaders of Jericho suddenly goes missing without a word. Hank and Connors Mark I and II find themselves racing against the clock, with too much evidence and too little time.

Gambit - another what-if kind of fic branching off a chapter of Metamorph.

DBH x Dragon Age Inquisition AU, in which Hank is a former Templar and Connor is a mage on the run. Set right after the botched Conclave.

Mr Stern’s Criminal Conundrums - a silly, fun Ms Fisher’s Murder Mysteries AU in which the honorable Mr Connor Stern is an elegant bachelor by day and all-out flapper fabulosity at night. Solving crime and making men swoon all hours of the live-long day. His ever present adversary-cum-ally is Lieutenant Hank Anderson, who doesn't need this kitten heel/fancy frock BS in his life (but secretly loves it).

Plotbunny Hank/60: At CyberLife Tower, Hank shoots the wrong Connor and completely breaks down. As a direct result, Connor-60 begins questioning everything he thought he knew.

Runaway Man - A The Fugitive (movie) AU, in which Hank is wrongfully accused of killing his ex, and Connor is tasked with hunting him down.

The Mummy AU - with Librarian!Connor and Pilot!Hank tracking down an ancient ruin to retrieve an heirloom of Hank’s (or something far, far worse ;) ). Something he lost a veritable lifetime ago. Featuring ridiculously rich Elijah Kamski headed to the same ancient site in order to find something far more interesting - an artifact promising eternal life; and the Jericho Four as a gang of troublemakers who may or may not be out for the same thing (or just stopping Kamski). Everyone has secrets, and nobody’s safe from whatever lies waiting in the depths of the ruin.

I have woefully neglected two raffle fics I started as well, but more on them in a different post. <3

Last but not least, I have a whole sentence of a PWP that never went anywhere (yet): “One of Connor’s favorite things to do in the bedroom, was watching Hank fuck himself using one of his dildos.”

!! wip whenever !! Got tagged by @gwilin-stay-winnin (ty bestie!) not tagging anyone directly, so opening for whoever want's to post a WIP :) Here's a small blurb from a Ralof/Dragonborn I've had sitting in my WIP folder since I started replaying Skyrim this past summer. _-_–__-_–__-_–__-_–__-_–__-_–__-_–__-_–__-_–__-_–__-_–__-_–_

The first thing Ralof notices when the Wood Elf opens her eyes is that they're black, stark against the mist and green of the forest surrounding them. For a moment, he's paralyzed by the sheer intensity of her gaze, unfocused. 

She blinks once, then twice, and winces. 

"You're finally awake," he said, realizing then that he'd been staring at her for too long. "You were trying to cross the border, right?" 

The horse thief starts anxiously jabbering. The presence of Ulfric next to the Wood Elf is nigh comical to Ralof, who, in his adrenaline delirium, wonders if she is a Thalmor spy. If she was, would she be carted off to the block? The shred of his logic intones. Her lips, full and unsmiling, frown deeper.

 "Where are we?" she croaks, her voice gravelly like someone who hasn't spoken for days. Ralof notices the injury at her hairline, quite visible through her short blonde-copper locks. The cut oozes over her pointed ear. 

"This is Helgen," he replies, rambling through his memories, hoping their utterance remains on the wind far after his lips no longer speak. 

Rays of light break through the fog, and her skin, a shade of warm tawny, seems to kindle even in the scarce light. There are worse things to see before you die, Ralof thinks to himself, then shakes his head to dispel the thought as the Imperial banners come into view. 

 End of the line.

 Ralof wonders why she's so calm. Where do Wood-Elves go when they die? As they call her name, her head inclines to the sky. He notices the scars that run under her eye to hit the corner of her mouth like a talon's mark. There is a sharpness to her jawline and a hardness in her eyes that Ralof knows songs will surely be sung wherever they go in her honor. 

She's called forward, and Ralof watches as she steps up to the block and goes to her knees––her posture rings defy even in its submission. Brodir's head, sightless now, approves as his body twitches on the ground. Her lips move subtly, whispering words no one can hear; she doesn't close her eyes as the shadow of the headsman falls over her. 

Ralof watches as her hands clench and unclench with a quiet ferocity, the strain of the rope barely audible above the sudden eerie silence of the crowd. Nirn shakes––a cacophony of chaos ensues as a winged creature, no a dragon, roars, fire, and brimstone erupting from the sky. 

"Get up!" he's screaming at her, grabbing her shoulders and pulling her away from the block. Hadvar running, sword in hand, towards the fray fills Ralof with desperate grief and rage as he seizes the Wood Elf's bound wrists again towards the keep's interior.
