I started writing porn during my work breaks to torture my friends (as you do) and sometimes it turns into feelings, so whatever, I'll drop this here. Possibly part of a WIP now because isn't everything these days? (My poor WIP folder.)

They spent so much time apart, first because he was dead, then because he distanced himself from her after coming back, and then because he was in hiding. Now that they’re back together, they can’t stop kissing, they can’t stop touching. They’re always connected, holding hands, standing with their sides pressed together, small pecks hello or goodbye turning into long, hungry kisses, hands clawing at each other to get closer, closer, always closer.

At night they fall asleep with their legs tangled, her head on his chest, or him spooned up behind her; they fit together so perfectly. Words are still difficult. So much has happened. He feels endless guilt for leaving her alone, leaving her to deal with the fallout of their decisions all on her own. She feels guilt heavy in her heart for giving up their son, for depriving him of his chance to be a father, she feels like the destroyer of their little family.

Touch comes easier to them and they tell each other what they can’t say through letting their bodies speak for them. It’s hard and rough some nights, pure desperation, don’t ever leave me again because I’d die, mark me, make me yours, ruin me for anyone else. Most nights it’s unbearably slow and tender, laced with a melancholy sadness mixed with tentative hope growing in the shadows that hold both danger and promise. It’s apology and affirmation, I’m sorry, I love you, here’s my heart for you to keep, it’s always been yours and always will be.

She opens her legs for him and he pushes into her slowly, coming home, covering her with his body as she holds him close. He doesn’t move, just kisses her, and she kisses back. This is what they need, connection, physical metaphor for everything language can’t yet express. When he starts rolling his hips it’s slow and shallow; they’re full of need, burning with desire for release, but every time they fall over that edge it means it’s over. Until next time. And they never take next times for granted anymore. Not after everything they’ve lost.

His forehead rests against hers as they breathe each other’s air, as her hands roam his back and he fucks her so gently, with such soul-deep devotion it brings tears to her eyes as she clenches around him, holding onto him so tightly with every part of her being.

They’re still unpracticed, they’d only just started when he was taken from her, they didn’t have a chance after he returned. But they’re learning, learning each other, learning this new language. The sounds that mean they need more, or less, or that it’s perfect.

She comes first, and he knows what to do, how to move to make it good for her, to keep her coming and coming until her moans turn into whimpers through that final crest before her body goes soft under him, and only then does he let himself go, spilling into her with a broken sound escaping his throat. It’s an ending and an oath, a beginning, a confirmation of continuity: them against the world, forever. In this moment, they’re a part of each other, their combined pleasure stronger and more meaningful than any marriage vow could ever be.

He stays inside her as long as he can and they part reluctantly, only to come back together later, always. There are no guarantees, but there are promises, there’s love. They’ll make it work.

Aaah, my beloved mess of a Pacific Rim AU MOTA/SAS:RH crossover <3 I've been pretty quiet on this front lmao.

Flashfire!Bucky follows a lot of the story beats Raleigh does in PR, except his former co-pilot Curt was not his blood brother, but a foster brother of sorts, and a lover of sorts, and a best friend above all. Bucky is MESSED THE FUCK UP about losing him. Like, waaay messed up. Boy needs therapy and probably medical attention.

That would be an exceptionally stupid way to die, is Bucky's first thought as he looks down from his perch at the top of the Wall, a mile above the bustling hive of activity at the base. He's anchored with a harness and some magnetic clamps, sure, but it would only take one slip, one tired belt or rusted clip, and splat goes his melon on the mist-shrouded concrete below. Wouldn't that be a pity, huh.

He's as careful a worker as any of them, doesn't take stupid risks, and triple-checks his safety every time he goes up the metallic ribs of humanity's latest attempt to build monsters to fight monsters; he is also a worker with absence seizures he hides well, and some fried nerves along his left shoulder, buried under circuitry burns and claw marks: the twitching and cramping of his arm is harder to disguise. His mind comes and goes sometimes. He'll leave his own flailing, limping brain behind for minutes at a time, and come back to the warning creak of his harness, or a supervisor yelling at him for slacking off. He'll watch his own left arm, disconnected, as it pushes against the beam he's anchored to. One of these days, he'll swan-dive off this thing, and not even know it.

Psychological hemispherectomy, the doctors call it. In the real world, the one without monsters and giant robots, they use hemispherectomy to treat epilepsy: they neatly scoop out the malfunctioning half of a person's brain, and presto, you are cured. Bucky didn't get the grace of a neat scoop. He didn't even get to choose which side malfunctioned enough to be excised. Curt was torn from his head bloody and messy, and Bucky feels like he's the malfunctioning side that got accidentally left behind.

Now he's left with odd, aborted thoughts that don't feel his to finish, impulses from nowhere in particular, scents and tastes out of the blue that used to be familiar to Curt, the memories of knowledge he wasn't the one to posses, memories of memories. He remembers the smell of the detergent Curt's birth mom used to use. There's a curious gap, somewhere, that used to be occupied by memories of somebody's heavy-handed boyfriend, a man Bucky's never met, and now doesn't remember. He hums a random tune, and later hears it on the radio in a song from a band Curt used to love.

He misses Curt like a missing limb. His steps falter without him by his side. He takes stupid bets and loses most of them without Curt's uncanny ability to read people right there in the Ghost Drift. He misses not having to speak before Curt moves first. He misses Curt thinking he should duck now, and avoiding a bottle aimed at his head as he does so. He misses the endless feedback loop of ecstasy when Curt pushed him down in their bed and pushed into him, and the Ghost Drift made them just one whole instead of a them.

He misses their idiotic inside jokes, Curt's cheeky grin, his chilling blue eyes, his blunt, scarred hands, always so gentle, and thinks about loosening his rigging. Splat.

"Do you even know how to foxtrot?"

"What the what?"

"Do. You. Know. How. To. Foxtrot. Bucky. It's a dance."

"I know it's a dance dumbass."

"And do you know know it?"

"Why would I?"

"It's the name of our lady angel, if you haven't noticed."

"And…?"

"And and, get off your fat ass and come here, I'm gonna teach you a thing, fuckface."

"Jackass."

"You love me."

"…Unfortunately, I do love you. So, how does it go?"

"Attaboy!"

OMG anon. i love this question, i love concepts i love riffing but i'm also overwhelmed by it. ten is soooo many!! lemme dig through my gdrive fanfic graveyard for a second...and lemme put this under a cut to save some eyes.

hirarchie plots in my drafts folder:

one of those "i didn't know where else to go..." hero turns up on villain's doorstep after a trauma fics, in which archie seeks out hiram bc he thinks he's more interested in revenge than like. medical assistance or emotional support.

continued vampire AU ft archie getting properly bitten, more veronica triangulation, more shame

s3 juvie arc AU in which hiram actually visits to be so so soooo soso so nasty and sick about it all

kind of a dreamy fairy tale AU where archie is an ex-mermaid with very sharp teeth (but he already traded his voice and fins away to a different witch who skipped town in her volkswagen beetle) and hiram is a warlock and veronica is in kind of a cinderella-rapunzel situation.

a sort of inception<>rivervale fusion in which rivervale is explicitly kind of built around archie's subconscious and he keeps trying and killing and dying over and over in an attempt to create a hiram-free world where his dad might come back. narrator jughead is there trying to pick up the pieces every time archie bails out. hiram might be becoming meta-aware, or it might just be that archie can't imagine him without every advantage

fic where there's a zombie apocalypse on, and hiram has zombie archie locked in the basement at pop's. (archie pov of course)

my long slow serial wip where s5 archie goes with hiram when he's exiled and kind of rehashes teen traumas but (he thinks) without any illusions about what he's doing. reggie is there now so all i do is think about toxic reggie-on-hirarchie dynamics now. it's going medium.

10 is a LONG list anon. i went deep into the abandoned projects file and i'm still short. so. brainstorming some other stuff i think about but haven't actually made any gestures at writing bc it's not ~my brand:

s7 archie/reggie fill-ins idk if this counts as non-canon because it's more of a "missing scenes" type thing, but i really want more s7 boys-supporting-boys soft romance archie/reggie fic filling in the emotional layers and plot gaps and what-next of archie working on the mantle farm, etc

s6 reggie/kevin(/percival) i've been thinking a lot about s6 reggie/kevin(/percival). troubling. troubling! anyway even outside of the dynamics of reggie wanting to rescue kevin from mind control, i keep thinking kevin would be fascinated with reggie's puppet conscience. i think he'd try to adopt it as his own or at least share, he needs one too. i think they could get intensely psychosexual or simply sexual about the whole situation.

sex pollen. traditional sex pollen. riverdale is from one angle a comics fandom, and you can't have a comics fandom without some writer doing the needful and launching fuck-or-die chemicals at some characters sometime. percival's reggie-on-archie stabbing aggression spell already kind of had that vibe, which is probably why i think it should be archie/reggie. but i would also accept kevin/archie with a slightly different tone, kevin/jughead with a VERY different tone, etc etc etc. (and betty/cheryl. idk why them, they're not even my main f4f ship. i just think they'd wear it well.)

Listen, I don't have a wip folder per se, I just have a bunch of opened tabs (and even a tab folder cuz i couldn't read my tab names anymore 👀 the folder is literally called 'fic wips', oops?) Anyway, I go back and forth between fics all the time, like. Right now I'm working on 'rain surprising phayu' but the day before I worked on 'evil warlock phayu' and before that I worked on 'serial killer phayu captured pai' WHILE I WAS STILL WORKING ON THE PREVIOUS PART OF THE SERIES. Listen, I'm a mess. You don't wanna see the inside of my head, just- just skip it.

For the WIP folder game: being a fan of Edgar Allan Poe, I'm curious about the first one, the dream within a dream!

So I should probably start with the chapter that comes straight before this one, because that's "All That We See Or Seem".

In that chapter, Veryn hears from Nibani Maesa that he might be the Nerevarine, but she does not confirm it. He is left in uncertainty, while the Sixth House continues to assault his dreams. To fulfill his debt to Hassour Zainsubani, Veryn goes to the caverns of Mamaea to seartch for Zainsubani's son - and he realises that the Sixth House is waiting there for him too. He teleports out, and has a heart-to-heart with his girlfriend Sharn about how this means he will probably have to die. So the first part of it plays on Veryn seeing things that not everyone sees (the Sixth House), and then the 'seem' part on whether he's the Nerevarine or not, or only seems to be the right option. And then the followup is "Is But a Dream" and "Within a Dream". I'm currently writing the chapter, and it was initially planned as one chapter and then I realised that nope. This is too much, gotta split 'em. And "Is But A Dream" is going to dive straight into the Sixth House. The House of the False Dreamer. Veryn reluctantly tells Caius Cosades about what he found at Mamaea. Caius wants to chart the place properly before calling in the Legion, but when Veryn and Sharn accompany him back to Mamaea, the cavern collapses beneath them and swallows them up. And that's when the heartbeat of the Sixth House becomes so loud within Veryn's mind that he can no longer ignore it. The Dream becomes more and more real, and he runs deeper into the cavern, leaving Sharn behind. And then follows "Within a Dream"... We learn that there's an Ash Vampire this far beyond the Ghostgate, who has turned the caverns of Mamaea into his base and who's using them as a vantage point for the city of Ald'Ruhn. The Ash Vampire easily overpowers Veryn, who is dazed by the heartbeat and the mindfuckery of the Sixth House - and infects him with the incurable Corprus Disease. Sharn and Caius have found each other while looking for Veryn, but they arrive too late. A fight scene follows, where especially Sharn gets her time to shine and be a badass. They just about manage to down the Ash Vampire, realising they've only done so because said Ash Vampire expended a ton of his powers in getting the cavern to collapse. Now they are aware of how strong the Sixth House truly is - and the future Nerevarine has just been infected with that very same Sixth House crawling around in his blood. It's been tricky writing these chapters - there's a lot of tension between Veryn and Caius that's hard to nail - but I really enjoy where it's going so far!! And here's a little sneak-peek for "Is But A Dream"!

A cascade of falling ash enveloped them, reducing the world to grey uncertainty. Pain radiated out from Veryn’s wrist, lancing through his fingers and jolting towards his elbow. His grip on Sharn tightened regardless, the one thing that still seemed to exist within this void of falling, of slipping, down a quay, to drown in a sea of dirt. His instinctive magic could not carry them skywards, but it could slow them down enough to avoid a gruesome end. The crash still knocked the wind out of him, glass crunching as his bag caught between his back and the floor. Sharn landed atop his body in a way that should have set his loins aflame, yet no fire stirred within — only a terror that permeated his entire body. A pounding headache drummed within his skull, a two-tone rhythm. A heartbeat.

For the WIP Folder Game

"Break the Window, Smash the Lock" - :peeks: Rival thieves, you say? Cat burglars, perchance? Do they try to one-up one another by stealing what the other was planning to steal out from under them? Does one think it's a friendly rivalry while the other one is seething?

"MikeLoki Fantasy AU" - :peeks even harder: What is the deal? Is Mike trying to become a real boy? I worry, Loki God of Lies does not seem like the god you want if you are trying to become something true.

For "Break the Window, Smash the Lock"... Yes, cat burglars! And also grifters. I was deep in my Leverage feelings when I started planning this AU, haha. At the beginning of the fic, we're starting a couple years into the boys' rivalry. The backstory is that while going after the same item (Vanessa Fisk's engagement ring) they both kind of tried to seduce/catfish one another, and it ended in some deeply hurt feelings around, so now whenever Foggy goes after a mark, Matt tries to ruin it. >:3 But of course they're still attracted to one another deep down.

And for the MikeLoki Fantasy AU... We begin in media res with our sweet lovely Mike getting gutted with a sword! (Godspeed, little buddy.) And then waking up trapped in a mysterious room with a mysterious figure - after all, where does the soul of a doppelganger go when they die except the god of lies? >:D And from there they have to team up to escape Loki's imprisonment and bring Mike back to life - especially since he has some information he desperately needs to get to Matt.

I'm super torn on whether Ocelot ever actually directly tells Big Boss that he's attracted to him, purely out of such a fucked up yandere level of hero worship. Especially before the Ground Zeroes incident I think he assumes a) that his feelings go without saying and b) that bibo is indestructible, and GZ is a huge wake up call for him. I have a fic in my wip folder about this exact thing because I'm obsessed with ocelot I am genuinely rotating him in my brain at all times. :3

Meanwhile Kaz is extremely straightforward. I feel like he has some fucked up ideas about masculinity and sexuality early on, but hey, gay people tend to congregate around all the snakes in large numbers, so any internalized homo/biphobia that he might have had has to evaporate pretty quickly. He definitely makes the first move on Bibo, he tries the moves that he uses on (many, many) women, and ends up getting absolutely plowed.

Big Boss, to me, is an autistic aroace king who doesn't really *get* sex and/or romance, but is down to fuck if only because he knows it's something other people put a lot of value on and it feels good, and as an extension of hand-to-hand combat. Because of that sex-as-an-extension-of-combat mindset I feel like he doesn't bottom much if ever (maybe, *MAYBE* if the Boss were into pegging, but lbr she's probably a lil too homophobic for that).

Kaz is cool with that, especially in the early MSF days. It's like having a tiger on a leash. He basically has a supersoldier to fuck him senseless.

I think maybe BB and Ocelot meet quietly on occasion through the MSF days, but if they fuck at all in this time it's mostly just what BB kind of assumes he's supposed to do, from interacting with Kaz. tbh Ocelot gets off from the weirdest shit so anything *real* is just a bonus.

Ocelot is *extremely* jealous of Kaz, not just for the sex, but for even getting to see Bibo on a regular basis. This fic is basically to me what I think their first meeting would/should be like (actually this whole series of fics is so good i recommend it): https://archiveofourown.org/works/37886539

(There's another fic that I looked for very quickly but couldn't find that includes Ocelot saying a line like "I just wanted to see what all the buzz was about" after they fuck, it may also be a part of that series, but I'm struggling rn lol)

Ocelot pretends it's not jealousy and is instead a totally justified dislike. Definitely thinks of him as Zero's slutty lapdog. He spends the time between MGS3/PO (take your pick on canonicity) and GZ keeping tabs on Snake for what he pretends are totally professional, impersonal, non-obsessive reasons. This is not true, obviously. Definitely hopes that Kaz is dead in the devastation.

Goes on an enormous bender between the attack and finding out that Bibo is alive, maybe the only time that he really, truly lets himself completely lose control. Definitely think at least once he gets REAL fucking close to ODing and gets to talk to the Sorrow for a lil bit. Might be how he finds out Snake isn't dead/won't die.

If they haven't at least hooked up anonymously before, Kaz and Ocelot definitely start to in this 9 year gap. Ocelot knows a lot about the human body and does some fancy acupunctury/knife-y stuff to help with the pain from his injuries because, y'know, they're stuck together for now.

Ocelot totally fucks Kaz because he's the person closest to Big Boss left in the world. Ocelot isn't much of a top himself, but he tops Kaz just to figure out what he's used to, using Kaz to build up this mental model of how Big Boss must fuck using the negative space he's left behind.

I genuinely think that up to this point they REALLY could have saved one another. They're one another's perfect foil, they cover one another's weaknesses, Kaz is all rage on his own behalf but doesn't know when to cut ties, Ocelot refuses to grow a single vertebra if it might inconvenience Big Boss.

I do think that Ocelot spent a lot of time at Zanzibarland, and that Kaz intentionally helped time Intrude F014 for a time that Ocelot wouldn't be there, from some lack of desire to kill his...complicated ex lover.

I think Ocelot would absolutely be furious that he wasn't let die with his boss, and intentionally lets Kaz live in 2005 as punishment (I like biblical allusion and so the idea of Kaz living the story of Cain/Pontius Pilate's doorman, cursed to live a wandering life until the second coming of jesus, or in Kaz's situation, the third(?) coming of Big Boss makes me kick my feet and giggle)

Gonna stop for now cause this is getting like. Comedically long for what you asked lol. But I am more than willing to talk about this forever i love them they're my favorite toxic barbies
