Blood Like Candy Snippet

Snippet from the next chapter of Blood Like Candy, my vampire Harry AU!

His fangs pierce ivory flesh—carefully, carefully…—and Tom doesn't stir. Harry dares to draw on his blood in an equally careful sip, knowing he has only moments before his venom alone rouses Tom. But he wants to taste him like this. Soft with sleep, unaware of his surroundings, trusting Harry not to kill him, even as he lusts after the boy's laced blood. As if Harry could ever harm him. He came close to taking the boy's life before, but that was different. He'd been out of control with bloodlust, and they hadn't yet formed their bond. His blood marks Tom as his own now. Whether that's for the better or worse remains to be seen. The first gush of blood across his tongue melts his senses, a burst of decadent chocolate, as if he bit into the thin shell of a truffle and to the cream hidden inside. A groan slips from him, unbidden. He slides his hand across the softness of Tom's flat tummy, his thumb rubbing back and forth motions beneath his navel. Hips bump back into his as Tom's sigh fills the penthouse, the sound as sweet as the treat on Harry's tongue. Either he wasn't gentle enough, or his venom finished spreading. Unbothered, he cants his groin into the curve of Tom's arse, letting him feel his growing arousal. Tom's desire for sex, for Harry's gift, spices his blood.
