aftg posts about columbia always throw me off so much because I grew up there. saw the richland county judicial center in a tweet on my dash and I was like my god? news from columbia on the tumblr dashboard?????? but no it was a fake murder trial (also I love the tweet series, the dumbfuck fans are enraging even though I know they’re not real shsjsjsjs)

one thing about me is that i’m going to be Too Much in terms of little details that nobody is even gonna notice and i spend SO long on them too so here’s an appreciation post for some of the stupid amounts of effort i put into these things

Ga On took a deep breath, knowing he had to apologize for how poorly he had handled the situation.

"I'm sor—"

That was as far as Ga On got before he felt a sudden but fleeting sting of pain against his forehead. He flinched and looked up at Yo Han, driven by equal parts surprise and disbelief. One of his hands rose toward the spot Yo Han had, apparently, just given a flick with his fingers.

"Did you just—"

Yo Han gently batted Ga On's hand away before brushing the backs of his fingers against Ga On's forehead, as if to soothe away the pain he had just caused. Ga On's stomach flipped as he stared up at Yo Han, eyes wide, having absolutely no idea how to react.

"Stop apologizing," Yo Han reprimanded. His hand lingered, the touch light — soft like a whisper — and yet intense enough to send a shiver down Ga On's spine.

For a confusing, breathless moment, Ga On just sat there, too stunned to move.

I guess I’ve taken it upon myself to provide everyone with a second season of The Devil Judge even if I have to write it and draw the fake screenshots myself. Something I have come to understand far too late is that internalising and embodying the spirit of the phrase "It is what is it is" is something that actually requires discipline and resolve to achieve. It feels uncannily to me like there's a particular muscle that lets you swallow momentary hang ups and keep breathing and all you have to do is exercise it frequently.

The action of consciously deciding to let something I would ordinarily obsessively worry about pass and continue inhaling oxygen instead feels exactly the same to me as say, spontaneously deciding to do twenty push-ups - definitely achievable but something that takes a little energy and willpower.

so once me and my wife were watching a documentary where a snake ate like a million eggs. that snake just went to fucking town on eggs. and the snake made the eggs look so good that i kept thinking about it, and thinking about it, and thinking about it, and eventually it was 11pm and i ran out of willpower and decided to eat one (1) singular raw egg just to prove to myself that the snake was surely a liar.

the snake was not a liar. texture is like, super important to me and raw eggs are very Texture so i had another one, and then another one, and then another one, and eventually i ran out of eggs.

i had like, fifteen raw eggs.

i didnt really know how to explain this momentary madness to my wife, so my Plan was to put all the eggshells into a grocey bag, and then throw that grocery bag in the dumpster, and if she never noticed that would be Excellent and if she noticed immediately i could lie and say that the eggs went bad.

except i cant lie very good, and of course with murphys law being such, i got salmonella.

so i threw up a lot and my wife asked me what poisoned me so and i tried very hard to dodge the question but i was oozing shame like oil from a room temperature cheese and eventaully i gave in and told her everything and to her enormous credit she was more flabbergasted than actually upset. she did make me promise to not eat any more raw eggs, which i have stuck to, and she gives me weird looks during nature documentaries now as if desire was the only thing keeping me from eating thousands of pounds of krill anyway i made a joke earlier about being able to eat my age in eggs and my sister in law in law made a drawing to comemorate the moment and also because it was my birthday. she's excellent. thank you 10000000% @cintailed. you should all visit her page and admire her work.

one of my greatest pet peeves in fiction, and it is truly stupid I know, is that no one seems to understand how genuinely hard it is to kill someone via stabbing. stab wounds have a mortality rate of like 5%. especially abdominal stabbing. tv shows and movies show dudes getting stabbed one time in the lower abdomen with a tiny knife and then they fall over. like what did he die of precisely. that man died of Small Knife
