Reading about Life & Death: Twilight Reimagined a few minutes ago pissed me off because:

It seems there is no Alec, Jane, Garrett, Benjamin, Tia, or gender-swapped variations of them. (Idk how far the story goes, but since the Denalis are there, I assume at least to BD pt. 1.) Hell, she could've kept them the same, like some characters are! We could've had Kirill & Garrett, but Stephenie Meyer would never do that because she's a homophobe! (More on that later.)

Aro, Marcus, and Caius are all still men. Why couldn't we have gotten an ultra-powerful and evil female-led coven? 😩

Stephenie really is a homophobic cabbage because: Charlie is still a man, but Sue is also now a man (Saul), while Billy is now a woman (Bonnie). So, instead of a romance between Charlie & Saul (Sue), there is now a romance between Charlie & Bonnie (Billy). (Fam, I made a whole post about this shit on my other blog.)

My point is: This book was supposed to show that things would be the same if it were gender-swapped, only for her to not gender-swap every character and also change things. I feel like this could've been a really fun and/or interesting take, but as usual, it just fell flat.

smth else i see people get wrong is that akito is not the one who teases touya more in their dynamic. in fact its the opposite. touya is the only one akito Doesnt tease. while akito is the only one touya Will tease.

did i ever mention the reimagining of garrett from the original thief games as a shitty star wars oc here. his name is gar'ret and the jedi hate him but the sith hate him even more. his favorite hobbies are stealing and using the force to help him facilitate stealing.

I wish someone was brave enough to write an adaption/reimagining/crossover of Dracula and the Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

A crossover that has the diversity that a lot of us head canon for the characters. That respects the source material while expanding on it’s themes and ideas. An adaption where Dracula and Mina don’t have some bizarre love story and he’s the villain as in the original story.

It’s me. I’m someone. It’s going to take a lot of research, drafts, critiques and beta reading from my bestie (hey @letsallmarrygeorgeharrison) but this is something that matters a lot to me. Expect it on AO3 within a two/three years.

This is for all the kooky, spooky, gothic horror lovers.

ok how about turnabout reclaimed as an athena case with apollo cocounsel like in academy. i like the psychelock mechanics as much as the next guy but yamazaki phoenix bores me to death, apollo spends way too much time offscreen for a game that's supposed to be his sequel, and athena only getting one case in her intro game is genuinely insulting. the way they treat her in the game its like shes just an assistant and not an actual lawyer. and even if it's a Phoenix game for branding this is the dlc so they can do whatever they want

Since TLG will come to an end soon, I think it's time to introduce ya'll to the protagonists of the next brainrot piece of mine.

From left to right, you got Victor Frankenstein, Lucy Westenra, and finally Henry Jekyll Jr. (or Henry^3). They are the main trio of the modern reimagining mashup I've been working on and their stories will be followed throughout the entire series.

Unlike The Losing Game, this property will probably not be written out as a fic. Instead I'd rather do comics of them. I'm a full believer in never starting with a dream project though, so while you'll get a lot of sketches, small comics, and even animations of these guys, you won't see anything official until way later.

I'll have more info later on, after I get back into posting (which admittedly has become quite nerve-wracking for me as I spend more time away), but please enjoy!

Also, to make things easier for myself, Henry^3, though he's a very different character, will just be tagged as Henry Clerval. He shares the most similarity with Clerval, so I think this works lol.
