Hey Strawberry! Here is my go at your request. Thanks for the suggestion, I had fun writing it! It kind of ties in to my Marco x Reader fluff I posted earlier today, but if you didn't like that or don't want to read that I'll give another short scenario here. It's short and sweet. I'll do a Marco NSFW hopefully in the next couple of days. Plan is to have it fit in with this fic and my earlier posted marco fluff fic. Hope you enjoy! Scene Set up: Either follows my previous post Falling for Marco the Phoenix or You, a former member of the Whitebeard Pirates, decide to go with Marco to Sphinx Island to help protect Pop's home Island. After living on the island awhile, you and Marco confess your feelings for one another. This fic takes place the next morning as you begin to go about your routines as a couple in the same house.

A Morning with Marco

The next morning, you rolled over in bed to find Marco’s side empty. You lifted your head and looked around the room. You noticed the door to the bathroom was closed and it dawned on you that you could hear the sound of the shower running. You smiled as you realized besides the sound of the water, you could also hear Marco humming in the shower. You laughed as you heard him break out in song. You rolled on your back and listened to him for a few minutes, before finally deciding to make some coffee. You crawled out of bed and found Marco’s purple dress shirt still on the floor. You put it on and buttoned the two middle buttons, knowing full well it showed off some of your cleavage and cut open just above your mid-thigh.

You walked to the kitchen and measured out the coffee grounds and poured water into the pot, then hit the power button. You reached into the cabinet and pulled out two mugs. You noticed you heard the water stop running. You still heard the faint sound of Marco humming and singing. You still couldn’t believe yesterday had been real. Marco had feelings for you, he had kissed you, then, well you had last night with Marco… you smiled as you thought back on the details. You were hoping for a reenactment as soon as possible. You heard the bathroom door open and were immediately broken from your daydream. 

You looked at the coffee pot and noticed there was enough for two cups already brewed and quickly poured them. You returned the pot to the stream of brewing coffee and picked up your two coffee filled mugs. You walked back into the bedroom and smiled as you rounded the far side of the bed, which allowed you to see into the opened bathroom door. Marco was shaving his stubble in the mirror, wrapped only in a towel that covered his waist. His tattooed chest still glistened with water droplets as his wet hair lay messily atop his head. You walked to the bathroom doorway and leaned against it, a giant smile plastered on your face.

“I kind of liked the full stubble look.” You said.

“Oh.” Marco asked as he turned his gaze from his reflection, to over his shoulder to look at you. “Well how about half of it?” Marco asked as he set down his razor and came towards you.

He wrapped his arms around your waist and rubbed his half shaved neck against your cheek. You laughed as you held the full coffee mugs away from the two of you in one hand and grabbed his arm with your free hand.

“Marco, I’ll spill the coffee!” You gently yelled.

“Coffee? Is one for me?”

“Of course.” You said with a laugh.

You handed Marco the mug and he brought it closer to his lips, still holding onto your waist with his other hand. You moved your hand to his chest and brought your coffee mug to your face. You hoped the mug covered your blush as you admired the build of the man before you. Marco’s lips parted around the rim of the mug and he smiled at you as he took a sip. As he lowered his mug, he looked down at your body and noticed what you were wearing. 

“Well you win. That shirt looks better on you than me.”

“You think so?” You laughed as you played with the collar of the shirt that hung near your cleavage.

“Mhhmm.” Marco said as he took another sip. “Thanks for the coffee, babe. You make it way better than I do.” He added as he pulled you closer and kissed your forehead. 

You pushed against his chest as he kissed you and laughed.

“That’s because Thatch never taught you guys how to make coffee. Anyways! Finish shaving! It tickles too much!” You cried and Marco laughed in response.

Marco let go of your waist and returned to the sink. He set down his coffee mug and returned to shaving. You stayed leaning against the doorway and watched him as he finished up. Marco returned to humming as he worked. A wide smile rested upon your lips. He stopped in the middle of his razor swipe and looked over his shoulder at you once more.

“What are you smiling about? Is my performance that good?” He asked with a laugh.

“What? Oh yes, it is.”

“Hmmm… well what’s your favorite part?” He urged as his eyes narrowed studying your expression.

“Hmm…” You took another sip of coffee and studied your surroundings trying to pretend to think hard. “The outfit. The towel only. I like the look.”

“Yeah. Is that what has you smiling?” He asked with an eyebrow raise.

Marco gripped the counter tighter as you took another sip of your coffee. You looked at the ground between the two of you, then scanned up his body until your eyes met.

“No.” You said as a devious grin formed on your face. “Knowing what’s underneath has me smiling.” You added with a blush as you raised your coffee mug to cover it. 

You raised your eyebrows and backed out of the doorway.

“Is that so..?” Marco asked curiously.

Marco grinned at you then picked up his razor and finished shaving. You moved to sit on the bed to finish your cup of coffee. After a few minutes Marco exited the bathroom. As he entered the bedroom, still in his towel only, you set your coffee mug down on the table beside you. He jumped on the bed and rolled on top of you, where he slammed his soft lips against yours. Your arms wrapped around his neck as his hands began to roam your body. You stroked Marco’s bottom lip with your tongue. His lips parted allowing you to intertwine your tongue with his. Marco’s hands started undoing the buttons of your shirt as your hands rifled through his hair.

His lips separated from yours. He looked into your (E/C) eyes warmly. He tucked a piece of hair behind your ear. 

“You can make coffee, taste like coffee, and you’re beautiful. How’d I get so lucky?”

“I don’t know, if I had to guess, it was the singing. I hope I get a show like that every morning.” You replied with a laugh as you pressed your lips back against his.

Suddenly, there was a knock at your front door. Your lips separated and the two of you panted as you looked towards the main room where the front door was. He looked at you and sighed.

“Marco!” A voice called. 

“Coming.” He replied. 

Marco climbed off of you and the bed. He quickly grabbed some boxers and a pair of pants from his closet and tossed them on under his towel. He threw the towel back in the bathroom and headed towards the doorway of the bedroom. As he did, you started to get out of bed, but Marco stopped you.

“I’ll be quick I promise.” Marco whispered sweetly.

Marco, kissed your forehead and walked out of the room, cracking the door behind him. As he headed towards the front door, you laid back against the pillows in the bed and decided to wait for him. A smile grew upon your lips as you hoped  every morning going forward would be like this, except without a neighborly interruption. Marco opened the front door and you heard him gasp.

“Cat Viper? What are you doing here?” He asked.

- well in my mind i always read him with a northern english accent and i’m not sure why. i know he’s from kent like Rowan + Jimmy but he just gives off northern vibes idk. and after learning that his dads scottish i can also see him using lots of Scottish slang terms.

- i think he’s a slag for a bit of pop too. Britney, Ariana, Taylor, Reneé, you name it. he gets a bit embarrassed though so he turns off his AirBuds when he wants to listen to girly pop music. he has the widest music taste out of the ark, so his Spotify wrapped is always mental. he posts them every year and not once has the same song appeared in his top listened to

- ik he’s not like blonde blonde but i think his natural hair is a lot darker but he’s been dying it blonder since he first met Jimmy and Rowan. when the ark are on hiatus he lets it grow out to his natural colour for a bit.

- he tried to grow a stache one time but Rowan shaved it while he slept. Also he didn’t know how to shave when he first met Jimmy and Rowan, so Pierro taught him. Pierro also taught him how to tie a real tie rather than use a clip on one.

- Joan LOVED lister. she would always fuss over him when he would come over. When he’d come round he would help her in the garden, but really he was terrible and Joan would always have to fix his mistakes. when he told her about how he and his mum would listen to albums together when he was little, she began showing him her collection of old records from when she was a teen/young adult. when she died she left Lister a few of his favourites. Lister keeps them hidden at all times so when he was hosting parties there was no chance they’d get damaged. after they stopped having so many people over Lister kept them displayed in the living room.

- i think that before he and Jimmy got together he had healthy and fun relationship with someone unrelated. it’s not anything ridiculously serious but it helps him see what he should realistically be looking for and what he deserves. it’s not like he’s using the person though, and he actually really likes them. they eventually end things amicably though, and stay good friends.

- it says on the WIKI article alice wrote for him that he has three half siblings. as far as i can think there’s no canon information about them other than that, so i like to HC that they are all from his dads second marriage and they don’t talk much since Lister hasn’t been to visit his dad in years. the ages are;

1.) Lister (19-20)

2.) a sister who’s like 17ish, she’s super embarrassed about the whole ark thing and is reluctant to rebuild a relationship with him again when he reaches out to her post IWBFT, because she remembers how he used to constantly fight with their dad when he’d come over for christmas / two weeks in the summer holidays. when they do start to reconnect and get closer she helps him bond with their dad too. (maybe she’s called Maya?)

3.) a younger brother who’s 13ish and a total TWAT. they look really similar and he’s just like how Lister was in school but he’s hilarious and really admires Lister. somehow he’s stupid smart though, even if he’s class clown. i think he reaches out to Lister when he’s still in the hospital after the incident. i also think it would be funny if the younger brother’s celebrity crush was Jimmy but his image of jimmy is completely shattered when he meets him properly. (i call him Brodie in my head)

4.) his youngest sister who’s like 7 who barely remembers lister but once they get closer she has him wrapped around her little finger. he almost bought her a horse once but Jimmy and Rowan had to remind him that a 7 year old who lives in a city centre can not logistically look after a whole horse. (i think her names Eilidh)

- the ark move from the flat into a house just outside london and he makes sure they all have a room so they can visit whenever they want to.

- after getting to know them better, he gets really close with Angel and Juliet. the three of them and Bliss have “girls” nights in the arks flat. when Listers hair grows they teach him how to pleat it. he gets really good and when he starts seeing his half siblings again he pleats his sisters hair for them)

happy ummm 8th month on t? (9th if i were actually on t continuously but i ran out for a month that one time) i used to do monthly t updates on tiktok but i dont rlly feel like doing that rn so i'll yap about it here (its actually wild how little stuff i have about my transition on my tumblr generally speaking? as if this isnt the website that transed my gender in the first place)

it really is hard to notice such gradual changes from month to month, especially if its just me lookin at myself, compared to seeing a doctor in person which, i am getting rx'd T thru telehealth currently as my nearest planned parenthood or even a neighboring one does not actually do gender affirming care which is. insane and whack. esp when i do live in a pretty populated county maybe second or third to nyc and albany area. and i have to call in to a pp THREE HOURS BY TRANSIT from me. but like, its been working for now ok!

mentally and emotionally ive been very up and down overall but i think thats largely due to my medication changes rather than hormones. ALTHOUGH. when i ran out for a month in november and my period came back... dude it was so horrible like genuinely the worst period of my life. its one of those things where i didnt realize just how dysphoric something could make me feel until i had a taste of being able to alleviate said dysphoria. so mentally speaking testosterone is probably pulling the mental train even more than the wellbutrin lol. and im trying not to account too much for circumstance/environment cuz like OBVIOUSLY if things were going smoothly for me there a lot of my emotional issues would be at least somewhat relieved, but im working with what i got.

physically, since starting t in july i have lost weight. at first i was very scared it was my medication, and i think a part of it was at least a little, like two of my meds can cause some weight loss, but i am no longer losing weight in a concerning way but just yknow the regular amount of daily fluctuation. so i do think a lot of my weight loss was due to hormones just shifting around my fat and all that, or something idk lol. everyones so diff with hormones, i know some trans guys gain weight on t and not necessarily from muscle training, i know girls on e who have lost weight without any changes to diet or exercise, it really depends so as always, this is just my experience etc etc

i do have more facial hair but its still quite patchy, i think i might start filling in my stache tho. with my shitty goatee, its not my fav so i shave it off when im not just sitting inside all day, but also idk it makes my chin feel less. round. or smth. i do always think of my one friend telling me ill look like the lead singer of a nü metal band and honestly maybe i should start giving that energy more anyway! embrace goatee lifestyle!

oh yeah my voice dropped in like the first two months and has gotten deeper since, and on timtom i talked a lot about wanting to maintain the vocal range i had pre-t? i dont think thats fully possible like i think the highest notes i used to reach are just inaccessible to me, but i think if i did some like vocal singing warmups i can get back up to reach those higher notes. in retrospect the way ive sung my whole life has actually prob been destructive on my voice, partly from lack of proper training and partly intentionally trying to sound deeper and more gravelly, but now that i can access deeper sounds more naturally i really do wanna work on singing in a better way where i can reach some of those notes.

overall yea im liking whats happening so far, i do wish it was happening faster but i understand that some people dont get the progress ive gotten for like, YEARS, and new progressions will be happening to me for years after today. if you think about "real" puberty, it is a gradual shift its not like you suddenly grow a chest as soon as you Bleed or whatever its different for literally every person and since im the only one in my family that i know of who has done this, im kind of a guinea pig. but like im okay with that! anyway yeah really recommrnd testosterone if u want it i like it :)

i think i'm more of "girl cliff" than a butch. like. yeah p much. when i 1st saw cliff, for some reason, it clicked on me that i could look like that AND be a girl, mainly for his stache bc like 4 months before that some girl told me i should shave and it made me insecure but then seeing cliff it didn't. idk if that makes sense. im never sure if anything i say about cliff ever makes full sense. but moving on... i base my masculinity off long haired men but even then the basis is me being a girl, i think of myself as a girl who wants to go under many/most marks of masculinity....... simply because that's how i feel and that's what i want for me. idk even exactly why, it just is like this. lesbianism made my non attraction to men make sense, given, i had almost always known i like women, and butch lesbianism in particular made the thing of being a masc girl have even more sense.

T check-in, 3.5 months in!

So to preface, I want to say that since it's a non-binary transition it's been full of me trialing up to 2 full pumps of gel for the first month and a half, and then about a month ago I felt that i could use a short break to lighten things up and slow everything down. now i'm dedicated to 1 pump daily and i additionally got prescribed a cream for bottom growth. the situation got Weird then, though, because the dosage and directions were kind of weird for someone like me, and I maybe ended up getting a UTI because of the cream just being too Abundant for my use in particular. So i'm going my own way and using it how I want to, applying one click every other day instead of four clicks once a week, the last few days. I've been careful since then and it seems to be doing ok now, and I'm back on track with my goals again.

VOICE: so, though it could be in part allergies, i seem to be in this "froggy" stage where my voice cracks a lot, but i'm not seeing anything along the lines of permanent deepening just yet. it's definitely getting easier to go much lower, and I think a small amount of my high register is slowly becoming more difficult to reach, which i'm not altogether too worried about really? i think i'm confident i can maintain elasticity so long as i keep exercising my voice in various ways. i even auditioned for a voiceover role with my high register and think I did a pretty okay job.

I think the one thing i'm worried about is how difficult it is to sound as emotive as I want to be in my lower register? i've always taken on a lower tone of voice as a way of being all Serious and sounding kinda angry, so that's how it sounds to me when i talk even though I'm trying really hard to be expressive. it's easier when i'm on call with friends and we're joking around and i hear all the deeper voices being expressive like how i want to be, so i think i just need to get inspired more... i plan to look into vocal training in a bit as well, so we shall see if i make any progress on that front!

in the meantime though i watched this video last week and it was A LOT.... and motivated me plenty to find my voice so i can finally hear who i really am from my own mouth.

BODY HAIR: i'm getting fuzzier!!! it's great. i did have a single chin hair pop up which caught me off guard cuz it had gotten so long, and i thought "HMMMM do i really want any more of these? would i be okay having a bunch of hair of this texture here?" and honestly, the texture of the one hair was fine. but then the thought of having my own skin change to be the texture of that of those with facial hair, especially the kind i know i have the genes for, doesn't appeal to me at all. it sounds like a sensory nightmare. i have a terrible skin-picking habit, and i couldn't see myself not scratching the hell out of my face if i ever had that happen. it's the only real thing keeping me from wanting facial hair. mostly i just definitely dont hate the idea of having a little bit of stache and sideburns, but ideally i want it all to remain relatively soft and unobtrusive. so the sight of it disappointed me more than anything. it's really what prompted me to go down on my dosage.

anyways tho, my happy trail is getting more prominent, which is DOPE and very gender-affirming. i would be happy so see it be a bit darker but stay a similar texture.... yeah thats been my whole deal with growing body hair. i let my leg hair grow out for the summertime and, man, i dont really hate the sight of it at all but it's really texturally always been awful for me. it chaffes! it's always going so many directions!!! this is why i prefer to shave it. but i wanna keep putting out the gender vibes that i do when i wear shorts..... i enjoy them a lot. so idk, maybe once i have everything else settle in and i start getting gendered correctly in wintertime i'll shave it.

HEAD HAIR: still goin strong baybeeeee~ i think my genes just allow for REALLY thick hair, and the testosterone is just enabling it more than it is hindering it for.... SOME reason. i lose less hair than i used to, and it's EXTREMELY thick in some regards. i have a bunch of babyhairs now that are really coming in strong. i think i actually went backwards and lost some hair when i took a break from t for a few days? and now that im back on it's falling out less. wack.

SKIN: again, i still am not seeing an increase of acne. maybe when i took a break from t? it's back on track to being just Okay again. i also do think i feel a lot softer. like i said before, it could be an increase in collagen production.... it is inchresting

PHYSICAL STATE: dude did you know that. testosterone make u hungry. altho it's not actually hunger necessarily that i feel. it's more that, i notice if i DON'T eat a certain amount every day, my body begins to eat ITSELF and i family guy death pose in the morning until i get some serious calories in me. i've been trying to eat more overall, and i definitely CANNOT eat like i used to before i moved here. i used to be lucky to eat two square meals in a day, and it took a lot of effort to feel like i could even make three. but now it's three meals a day and then some in between. i get hungry quicker and i need to supplement myself in between meals. it's pretty dope. not great for my self esteem in terms of like, well, being unable to afford all the food i want for myself, having to rely on others and worrying that i'm going to just wind up eating so much they get sick of me. the usual. but i do like the results of eating more. i'm gaining some weight (weighed 4 lbs heavier than in february! not much but it's motivating....) and i feel like the shape of my body is actually starting to look more like myself...? i'm getting a bit stockier, but in a really cool way where my curves are more bulging and overall giving me a more filled figure. like my muscles are growing but so are my fat deposits. i really really love it. i want to keep going and see what it becomes. i just wish i could eat all of the foods i really want to eat so it could be easier.... so for now it's slow-going.

MOOD: not really much of a change. i feel depressed most of the time but have a few good days once in a while. it's just the same old story, really. i know that i'm going to still feel shitty until start living the life i feel more secure in. i just gotta keep on keeping on for as long as that takes. i had a decent cry today, anxieties about things mounting, so i feel a lot better now than i did before.

LIBIDO: i can't get a good grip on it. it's pretty normal to usual, and for a while it bottomed out (as i tend to do from time to time myself--wait this joke doesn't hit. i'm making a joke about being a bottom/switch. okay, continue) and i just Wasn't feeling it. i think as of this weekend it's started to come back, though. it was really hard even TRYING to be horny, probably because i lowered my dose using the cream has helped me start to regain some of it, though. ideally i want to be ABLE to get horny, so that sucked before!

BOTTOM GROWTH: okay so, i mentioned on cohost that i started pumping. it's fun to do, but it's sure fucking tedious!!! and i have to be hard first, which almost just doesnt happen at all until i get really REALLY horny or get a fervid jackoff session going, and i don't exactly have all the privacy i need for that. so the times i do it are fewer than i'd like for there to be. the growth also really deflated/petered out for a bit, but it's back on now that i have started using the cream regularly. hopefully we see some more from that.

ALL IN ALL: I'm still on track, granted it will be at a slower rate now which is more ideal anyways. i think this has been overall really good for my body and mental health? moreso than i expected! i think i just really need to pay attention to how much i'm getting to eat, and also get back into exercising daily since i fell off of that quite a bit, lol...... i'm gonna start going to the pool whenever possible; swimming really seems to be the one thing that gives me the best workout with minimum damage to my body. it's also been recommended for my physical therapy in the past, and i've definitely seen improvements in my scoliois and arthritis every time i've swam often. so here's hoping i can stick to that sort of regimen.

first T-gel dose done 👍 I've decided I'm going to put it on my inner thighs stomach area* instead of my arms/shoulders because my acne is really bad there and I don't want the alcohol to irritate the wounds; there's evidence to suggest it works just as well regardless of where on the body it really goes. also I heard t-gel can go on genitals for bottom growth reasons but that it can also burn bc of the alcohol but I tried it and it was fine for me? so I'm also doing that in small amounts with some body-safe skin oil to use in tandem to combat the drying. I'll update again in a week with how it's been going 🩷🩵

*edit: realized it would possibly contaminate the surfaces upon which i sat bare, like toilet seats lmao. glad i realized this before i used another toilet besides the one downstairs or my partner used it!

Okay so this is the whole list of people ive met and the brief interactions. 

Kurtis Macdermid: his is very quiet, and kinda shy. He so so nice and will remember your name if you tell him. Ive met him a few times and hes always giggly and laughing at things people are saying. The last time i met him was right after he shave his beard into the full mustache he had going for this birthday and he pulled out of the lot with devon and rolls the passenger side window down and says my name then strokes the stache and says 

“You like the stache?” 

So hes a giant teddy bear and i adore him. Also his car smells good. 

Devon Toews: this man is whole comedian, making jokes and making everyone laugh every single time ive met him. Usually in the car with Kurtis, (devon drives). He also sticks his whole head out of his window for pictures which is fun. Hes funny and super sweet to the kids especially. 

Andre Burakovsy: this man drives the nicest car ive ever seen in person and he is kinda quiet but always sweet. Has apologized on multiple occasions for not having the time to stop and take pictures. The first time i met him (it was on his birthday) there was a small patch of ice near where i had been standing and i had my room resting on top of it and when he walked out and i heard his voice i shifted my weight wrong and almost slipped on the ice. He laughed at me and told me to be careful. 

The most recent time i met him he walked down the lot till he got to where a few of us were and just stood and sighed and talked for a while. His accent is precious and he smells super expensive but like intoxicatingly so. 

Cale Makar: I am convinced this man is an angel, like not joking at all. He stopped to sign for an old man that was in town to get something avs related for his wife (i will sob) and he drove out and took a ton of time talking and signing for this man and being extremely sweet before doing the same for everyone else. So here is how our interaction went. 

*I walk up to his window and introduce myself*

“Hey how are you?” He was SMILING. 

“Good good cale thank you so much for stopping” “Yeah no worries, by the way, your name is super pretty” *Me fully about to die* “thank you, i like it” *he laughed, we took a picture and he looked at me* “It was nice to meet you cale” “Yeah nice meeting you” DID YOU KNOW IM IN LOVE WITH HIM?!?

Erik Johnson: hes quiet and nice, signs and leans all the way out of his car to talk and take photos. Super sweet and you don’t feel like you are in a rush to get to him or get done. Alex Newhook: Newy and i have met a few times and he is just like such a dude? If that makes sense? Like he doesnt give off hockey player vibes at all, he gives off college best friend vibes which is sick. Sometimes he rides with a Bo or Nak which is fun because they are funny together. The first time i met him i was just hanging out on his side of the truck he drives while people were talking and taking pictures with Nak and we were just talking and i asked him where his favorite place to go was during the season and he said boston and then asked if i had ever been. I told him no because the farthest east i have been is chicago and he looks at me and goes 

“We should go” HUH?!?  

Then the most recent he got out of his car and hugged me and remembered my name and brought up going to boston as a joke.

Josh Manson: big. Thats it. Just big. He asked me how tall i was when i was standing next to him, then called me short in a super sweet joking away. Accidentally matched his shoes to the color of his pants and didnt notice till i pointed it out. Hes super cool and like has puppy energy and laughs at just about everything you say and i adore him so so much. 

Logan O’Connor: another one that was just super sweet and charming. made a few jokes a out his car and how messy it was. i told him his hair looked soft and he like half offered to let me touch it but i definitely did not. then after i walked away i was talking a few others about him being “boyfriend material” and he heard me and half leaned out his window and goes

“thanks!”

Nico Sturm: very cute accent and kinda had nate like features. i met him the first home practice after the calgary game when he almost got hurt and i had my hand on the window sill of his car and just told him he scared me and i hoped he was okay and i swear this man put his hand over mine and said “i’m good are you okay i don’t like scaring you”

Mikko Rantenan: okay so i havent met him fully yet but he yelled at telling me he was hungry and not stopping because he wanted Chipotle? because hes a big hungry boy? that was the funniest part of my day?

Nathan Mackinnon: this one is a lot. I kinda blacked out? Like just a little? He has the bluest eyes iver ever seen, the are as clear blue as you could ever ever imagine and he tries HARD for eye contact. I complimented his car and he like rubbed over the steering wheels and goes “thanks i just got it washed” (dork) 

When i walked up the his window he goes “Nothing to sign?” And i just shook my head and said “not today just wanted to grab a picture or two” 

“Okay that works” After taking them he asked for my name and when i told him he just nodded which i think is weird but whatever. So i thanked him and walked away and he goes 

“Nice to meet you” and used my name.

Now for the hc.

Ok so for whatever reason Rooster decides to shave off the stache, one of my main ideas for him shaving it since it’s like a way for him to be closer to his dad, is he’d have to loose some dumb bet whilst he was drunk/tipsy or goaded into it by most definitely Phoenix.

And she makes him hide it from Hangman because she knows he loves Roosters pornstache (Bob noticed and definitely told her, plus the noticeable beard burn on his neck gave it away) so she wants to see Hangman’s reaction. They all meet up at the hard deck and ya it’s a bit weird for everyone because a) Rooster is so used to having his moustache it kinda feels weird having his upper lip basically exposed. And b) everyone else is also tryna process the way Rooster looks because they too are also used to his stache. Coyote brings Hangman in 5 mins later and he’s trying to not give it away that something is up because Rooster has been avoiding Hangman since this morning and it’s making him sus about his, disastrous in the kitchen not allowed to cook, boyfriend and what he be up too. They make it to the pool table and Rooster turns around to great his boyfriend to assure him he was well behaved and didn’t set any kitchens on fire (one time Jake one time) and Hangman’s eyes bug out so bad they look like they were gonna fall out of their sockets.

Everyone is trying to not laugh and getting their money ready because they totally bet on what Hangman’s reaction is gonna be. Hangman is looking at Rooster in such a distressed way the group is little worried he’ll keel over but the minute he starts talking they try to contain their laughter, his voice is also slightly distressed and they can hear his Texan (that’s right the boy be Texan) accent start to peak out and he’s poking Rooster in the face and asking what the hell he did to said face.

He refuses to kiss Rooster until his moustache is fully grown back and based on the interview with Miles, I head cannon that Rooster’s moustache takes a long ass time to grow back to its former glory so like maybe 3 months? (idk what an appropriate amount of time for a moustache to grow back is) so now Rooster is all grumbly because he won’t be receiving any kisses or giving any kisses to his bf (Rooster loves kissing Hangman) so from then on he’s sworn off shaving or allowing anyone to shave his moustache off, Phoenix can shave his damn eyebrows for all he cares (Bob wins the bet).

Plus Mav had to listen to Rooster complain about Hangman not letting him kiss anywhere on his person for a whole 3 months so Mav made Phoenix swear to shave other parts on Roosters body that wasn’t his stache. To put it simply Rooster was coitus interruptus for said 3 months and Mav loves Rooster to bits but he was having none of it when it came to alone time with Ice.

things i liked about sex education season 3

so i made a post about some things i didn't like about season three, so here's some things i did like!

gonna gush about cal, viv, and jackson rq cause i love them so much

i really love cal so much they're probably my favorite character of the whole series. them as a character (laid back, stoner, skater, funny, and bold) just makes me so happy, but also the representation aspect was the best thing they've ever done. the actor who plays them is actually non binary in real life and uses they/xe pronouns. them also being black i think is super important. cal was just so loveable and always had good vibes. the most encouraging and "fuck it, do what you want, you don't have to be perfect/know everything" character. there was representation in more than one aspect for me and i just heavily related to them :) i think it should also be noted that even though there are a lot of lgbtqia+ characters in sex education, i'm pretty sure cal is the only one whose actor is part of the community irl.

VIV IS AUTISTIC! aside from isaac i think she's the only other canonically disabled character (outside of characters like jackson, maeve, and cal who have anxiety). i really love viv so much. she's so funny and smart and she's a go-getter and knows what she wants. she will put in the work to make sure she gets what she needs done. she's business only most times, although eventually, she loosens up. idk man i just liked seeing a black girl on screen in such a prominent role. she made me feel powerful and im surprised how much they developed her character! they did neglect her a little during s3, which i think was intentional to cause some tension between her and jackson, but that fixed itself so i can't be mad at it

i have loved jackson from the beginning! our black head boy. mad that mr groff was using him for funding, but i'm glad they showed us early on that he was more than just this jock. i think season 1 was his worst season cause even though they delved into his character, i feel like he was only used to further otis and maeve's relationship. in season two i liked him because he started to open up and made a real friend. i noticed that after maeve and jackson broke up, jackson really had no one and he had just started to open up with maeve (and himself) for the first time ever. i think him being friends with viv really made the difference because they both were supportive of each other, encouraged each other, and told each other off when necessary. the black boy, black girl friendship was unmatched and i'm so glad they didn't force viv and jackson into something romantic. jackson's friendship with cal was also really cool because they instantly became tight and i think cal really helped jackson with even more self discovery. jackson's whole character is self discovery i feel, but i'm glad he finally has good people around him to help with that. it's what he deserves

some specific things i liked:

- adam and his father's character development and the fact that they really did do it on their own. they might've done it for other people, but in the end they went on the journey alone and it was for the better

- that little bit that we did learn about ruby and her life outside of being the popular mean girl. ruby deserved way better and just generally more screen time because she really is an interesting character and they started to show us who she was, but cut us off after otis broke up with her

- seeing anwar and olivia support ruby after otis dumped her

- jackson and cal's friendship and the trials of their relationship (i'll probably make a whole post about this)

- eric being able to get in touch with his roots again (even though it felt like isolation...). i just love being reminded that eric is black. he's african. we see his home life and these family dynamics that non black people would never think about, and i think it's important that they be seen.

- otis shaving his pub3 stache.........

- aimee and maureen :3 aimee and maureen were so great honestly they deserve more attention. they're so wholesome and have grown so much i feel.

- aimee and maeve's friendship

- maeve BY HERSELF. i really like maeve honestly and i think that the mave x otis stuff really drowns out her true character. she's so accomplished and has so much depth and emotion. they touch on it briefly so many times, but it always ends up coming back to otis x maeve being the center of attention. im curious as to what theyre going to do with her character if there's a season 4 since she's in america

- adam and rahim's budding friendship as well as ola and adam's friendship which i hope we get to see more of again

Like their brothers before them, Virgil and Logan are chubbier when they’re 13. They’ll hit a growthspurt later and that slims Virgil (not that fat is bad its just what’s gonna happen to him in particular) But I have decided that Logan remains lovely and fat and softer because why the hell not, he’s adorable! Chonk Logan Rights! And he takes after Patton who is also heavier and why should deity-like creatures be skinny? Not in my fantasy world. Nope. ☼ - appearance headcanon

I've had this in my inbox for a while now because I feel like it was the most vague prompt on the list. It could mean so many different things and I don't know which to discuss!

But I'm going with describing how I imagine Eggman's appearance throughout his life, since there's no right or wrong way to answer. It's an opportunity to describe it because I still have yet to finish and share art depicting my ideas for what he looked like/will look like.

When Ivo was a kid, I imagine that many of his features closely resembled his classic design. He never looked drastically different from it.

His face has always been round and his cute chubby cheeks were especially visible before he had his stache. His nose was never all that different in shape, (Idk why people change that, it doesn't make sense) just slightly in color. It wasn't as pink because his rosacea and other contributions to its color became more intense with age.

He's always been chubby and it's a common body type for Robotnik family men. But there's always a reason and for Ivo it was various aspects of his lifestyle that resulted in his weight. As for his limbs, they've always had the unique contrast of being more attenuated than expected. It's a unique Robotnik family genetics thing.

A lot of fan designs of Eggman as a kid to young adult include him having wild hair styles but I don't picture it looking too extreme. Just fairly simple, short most of the time, naturally parted, and not specifically styled to look a certain way. It ever looked anything like jimbotnik's because I don't feel like the style suits him.

His hair had quite a soft and fluffy feel to it like his stache does now. It would fluff up easily and look a bit scruffy. He didn't pay much attention and would leave it that way because it wasn't something he prioritized. He never had pride or attachment to his hair like he does with his stache, so it was easy for him to rid of it as an adult.

He used to have eyebrows! Despite both him and Gerald lacking them, I imagine he had them at some point but ended up losing them. I've never decided exactly when or how but it could've been because of an accident. Either way, they were gone by the time he lost his hair. It's a good thing he has expressive brow ridges. XD

Despite his height of 6' 1" now, he was pretty short throughout his childhood, even in some of his teen years. He didn't like how some people wouldn't take him seriously and would look down on him but he wasn't too worried or insecure because it's common for men in the Robotnik family to be big and tall, so he knew he'd catch up.

He was right, he had a growth spurt that surprised everyone because it was so fast and sudden that it seemed like it happened overnight. He even ended up being taller than his father ever was! His height then matched his confidence and ego, he enjoyed finally being the one to tower over others and make them feel small. He still feels that same power and pride in it to this day! XD

His weight only ever increased with his growth so he's always been round and chunky, never skinny and lanky. But he finds himself handsome and only cares about being comfortable in his body. With it being common in the family, nobody tried to make him feel bad for it. Perhaps they might have had something to say about him becoming the heaviest, but that was after he left to start his own life and he never saw them again.

Somewhere in his 20s or maybe early 30s, he started getting early signs of male pattern baldness. It was another expected genetics thing so the only part that surprised him was how early it was. Unlike his father who was desperate to maintain his hair, Ivo didn't really care much about his own. His father spent years trying to keep his, while Ivo didn't even bother trying to save it and just shaved his entire head.

He might have tried a couple of wigs in case a bold head didn't suit him but he quickly realized how he found them too uncomfortable and itchy. He also realized that bald is beautiful and embraced it. He still has a number of wigs for disguises and they always looks convincing so he could have hair if he wanted to. But they still make him itch and he thinks he looks much better without them now.

He'd already started growing a mustache before losing his hair because he always thought they were cool. A lot of the males in the family did with his grandfather and father having one too. When he still had hair and a smaller stache, he looked very similar to his father and some confused them with each other. He's always been up to sly trickery so he used it to his advantage at times for useful benefits in his father's business.

But after he shaved his head and started growing out his stache so it could be as magnificently big and fluffy as it is now, he soon had a lot more in common with his grandfather's appearance than his father's. Even more so when he changed his round glasses with arms and clear glass to his shaded pince-nez ones. He welcomed this because he idolized his grandfather but disliked his father.

I don't try to find a logical explanation for the way he changed shape from spherical to more of an egg shape from classic and modern, or the way he seemingly got taller during adulthood lol. I just see it as a design and style choice that doesn't need a story based explanation. No characters notice or acknowledge the changes in their appearance, kind of like how nobody in 06 did.

That was a summary of the progress behind his appearance up to the present! I have ideas for extremely specific extra details for his present look and how it changes, such as small things with his eyes and skin. But I've decided I'll get into that in the second ask of this same prompt I got. So stay tuned! For now, I'm going to move on to how he'll look in the future because I have a few more things to say about it!

When he gets even older, he'll go through quite a few drastic changes but he'll still just look like a slightly altered version of his present self.

The most visible sign of age besides his graying stache is his weight because of how his current almost ends up doubling. It's mostly because he dropped his exercise routine when he started to let himself get comfortable in his old age. He couldn't accept it immediately due to the judgement he knew he'd get but he learned to expect reactions and not take it to heart. The teasing still gets to him at times but he deals with it.

He also does end up losing some of his height. I still haven't decided how many inches he loses but it will at least noticable enough for people to point it out. This is extremely disappointing to him and he'll heavily deny it because he really doesn't want to accept it. Luckily he'll still have a decent posture because he tries hard to maintain it, so that helps him keep a bit of height.

His most noticable wrinkles will be those that are around his eyes and also his brow area because of how often it furrows. It's definitely another point of teasing for people but he doesn't care about the wrinkles on his face because what is he supposed to do about it? He doesn't try to cover it up. He's secretly a bit insecure of wrinkles he has in other places but most people don't get to see that.

Because he'll still be so hardworking, he'll be visibly affected more noticably after lack of sleep. The circles/bags under his eyes will become even darker and will be seen on most days. He often looks tired and pissed off but rest assured, he isn't always feeling as miserable and exhausted as he might appear. But it will seem to stand out even more prominently when he has a rough day.

It impressively takes a while for his stache to fully gray, despite his age and constant stress. But it doesn't take as long as it seems because he keeps trying to hide and even dye it. The hair comes in as a very dark gray at first and he really won't be happy with it. It will take a while for him to accept and embrace it, mostly because it's a sign of his mortality that makes him feel like he's 'running out of time' because he's dramatic like that.

But by the time his entire stache grays, it will look like more of a snowy white color with some slightly darker patches here and there. The rest of his body hair will look the same way, so he goes from a brown bear to a bigger polar bear! 💜 And while he'll still have his worries about aging and mortality, this is the point where he'll learn to embrace the affects that age has on his appearance and he stills finds himself as handsome as ever. 💕

sonny had a few weeks worth of vacation days saved up

so he figured he’d use it after all the overtime he had been putting in

he wanted to take you somewhere nice, somewhere warm

so you two took a trip to hawaii

it was pretty expensive but you and sonny felt like it was much needed

so you took time off work too

and you and sonny set off to hawaii

you both were like little kids, so excited to get away from new york

and get away from work

island time was nice and so relaxing

so much so, sonny never bothered to shave during the three weeks you were there

when he started to show stubble

you thought it actually looked pretty good

but when it started to get thick pretty fast

you really liked it

you liked the way it felt against your neck

the beard burn between your thighs

the way it felt under your fingers when you’d grab his face

not only were you enjoying vacation but you were definitely enjoying sonny

he questioned you about it one night

“i think it might be time to shave. we go back home in a few days.”

you were on your phone not paying attention to what he was saying until he said that

you were quick to walk over to the mirror he was standing in front of

“no! just shave when we get home.”

you didn’t even want him to do that but if you could have him like this for a few more days you’d take it

he glanced at you

“why?”

you actually blushed

“i like it...”

he laughed

“i know you do. i just wanted to hear you say it.”

“wait what?”

“you don’t think i notice the way you’ve been lately?”

you crossed your arms, confused

“and what way is that?”

“you try to jump my bones every chance you get.”

you shoved him as he laughed

“sonny!”

you let him pull you into his chest

“hey, im not complaining. but you do know the beard has to go when i get back to work.”

you sighed into his chest

“ugh, i know. at least let me enjoy it for a few more days.”

he rolled his eyes but leaned down to kiss you

“we better make them count.”

My dad had a full beard and mustache for all of my childhood. He had to shave off everything but his ‘stache to be able to wear a gas mask for his job and it was SO WEIRD!!! Put your face clothes back on please for real!

So yeah, I imagine Darcy coming across Tony clean shaven (maybe there was a lab mishap and his mustache got singed) and just the “AAAGGGGHHHH!!!!” of shock and surprise when he turns around. And then she claps a hand to her eyes while yelling “Put your face away!”
