matt barely made it through the door before his arms were strangling me in a death inducing kiss. in my whole 17, almost 18, years of life i never expected in my life did i think my childhood best friend would be the one crushing me with his lips. we’ve both dated around but through it all we ended up here.
“fuck, matt” the breathy name escapes from my mouth feeling him move down to my neck leaving stinging hickeys with his talented mouth. “god im glad your parents aren’t here, don’t think my good kid image would keep up if they heard you.”
“you’re so inappropriate matt” my eyes roll listening to him rub in how much my parents love matt. “come on, i don’t like the idea of you fucking me on any other surface than in my room especially in my parents house.”
“whatever you say princess,” the small smirk he’s always had since he was 12 still looms over me as i lead him towards the grand staircase. he followed very close behind me keeping his arms and mouth on my neck.
it doesn’t take long till he’s holding my arms above my head with his fingers intertwined with mine. “matt, fuck, please can you just fuck me now.”
“you don’t get to be impatient, you called.”
“and you came.”
“you are about to as well.” i wanted to wipe that smirk clean off his face if his body didn’t feel so right pressed up against mine.
we haven’t told anyone about us yet, not even nick or chris. we both knew it would only make things worse, and i was alright with keeping it a secret. i’ve spent enough of my closeted and innocent. I'm a teenager, teens are supposed to do this type of thing. teens may hook up but maybe not with their childhood best friends
his mouth trailed down from my neck, to my sternum, all the down to between my thighs before he yanked my legs down to come closer to the edge of the bed.
3RD PERSON POV
matt’s hands never seem to have left y/n's body, exploring every last inch of her body. her arms, legs and heart were his. matt spends no time wasted connecting his lips to her clothed heat, within seconds she’s shimming her pants and underwear off.
there was a small knock on the door with an awaiting friend, madi was there to meet up with y/n to pick up the homework she had missed that day. without an answer from the door, madi looks around the house through windows and cracks in the blinds.
only seeing a light shown through from the living room, she wanders off to the balcony and fire escape on the side of the house. it was only a flight of stairs and a half till madi was on par with the balcony, it was a short climb till she was onto the balcony. the only thing blocking madi and the couple was a transparent creme coloured cloth with embroidered rose accents.
y/n’s loud moans escaped flooding her bedroom, escaped through the window. the curtains sway giving madi an opening to see matt fully down on her friend and her enjoying it. madi’s mouth gapes open as ashe slides her phone out of her pocket.
the camera app opens quickly as she swipes to record.
the small blip of her phone pipes up as she capturns the full scene on camera, the summer sunset gave a yellow glow to the recording. matt rips off his shirt with one arm dipping right back to y/n’s core.
madi’s only thought was to share it to her best friend, nick. little did she know nick wasn’t the only one she sent it to, but her homework group. madi continued to record through the small slit of the window.

HOLY SHIT LOOK MATT AT Y/N’S HOUSE!!!!
Y/N’S POV
“matt, matt, matt” the release came to me in an instant. “come on baby girl, you did so well. you ready?” the sound of his belt come undone only made me hotter. before another word could be exchanged i grab his shoulder pulling him down to the bed rolling on top of him.
“i’ll ride you till your dick is limp and your begging me to stop.” matt’s reaction only made me feel even more aroused. “anything for you baby,” matt said copying my tone of voice.
stationing my legs on either side of his i bend down to kiss him, pressing my pebbled nipples onto his bare skin, slowly grinding down onto his raging hard on.
his whines only intensify the burning seer of his skin touching mine. my hand follows in suit with my hips feeling every last vein of his dick through his boxers. “a-ah!” matt whines due to me pressing my finger into his slit.
pushing his boxers down his dick springs out slapping against his happy trail. “please please please y/n please.”
“please what, pretty boy?” i mock feeling the surge of power flow through me.
“please fuck me,” he whimpered out. for such a bad boy exterior, he sure doesn’t act like it now.
without waiting another second for him to say something else i sink down onto his throbbing dick feeling him fill me up so well. “mhhm, matty you feel so good.”
“ugh, only for you b-baby.” matt’s barely keeping it together, while i bounce up and down on his cock. speeding up every second. i begin to grind onto his pelvis as i slam down onto him with his body slightly grazing my clit in the best way possible.
“matty, im a-about to c-cum. do it with me.” his hands sneak onto my love handles as i lean up against him again, he attaches his mouth to my nipple that was dangling in front of him. his hips snap up and down, pushing insanely deep inside me. “m-matt!” a loud pornographic moan comes out of my mouth feeling the knot in my stomach break, feeling a huge relief. he follows soon after letting out a guttural grunt.
i roll down beside him, both of our deep breaths fill the room. “fuck, oh my god.” i breathed out, heaving my chest. i turn to face him, putting my hand against his chest and my head onto the arm that was stretched out near me. my curtains move and sway with the blow of my fan as i see a shadow fall off of my window, it must've just been an animal.
“i don’t think i can walk,” i confess feeling him look over to me. my hand travels to feel his scruff that he’s been growing out the past few weeks, it’s never gotten that long but it’s still very apparent. “hmm, lemme take care of you okay? we can even get mcdonald’s, im fine driving out to the further one if you're scared of people to see us.” he combs his hand through my hair, tugging a little relieving some heat and pressure my head has collected.
he pushes himself up and goes to the bathroom, turning on the shower and coming back to retrieve me.
-
this whole day it felt like people were staring at me left and right, i haven’t even been in the building for more than 20 minutes and i’ve had three people quickly lose eye contact with me when they were the one staring first.
i haven’t matt yet but i was really hoping we would be able to meet up at our usual spot, im snapped out of my trances feeling someone's hand on my shoulder squeezing it a little. i jump a little whipping my head towards the rest of the hands body, thank goodness it’s just nick. “babes, we gotta talk.” he said in a monotone voice, “why what’s up?”
“just give me a second, stop moving.” i listen to him and stop in my tracks seeing nothing wrong with today but the staring. “okay now what happened last night,” nick said now holding me down with both hands.
“well if you must know, my parents are out of town, like you knew and i stayed home studying before going out for mcdonald’s.” the lie slipped out from my mouth with ease hoping to keep matt and my secret a secret for a little longer.
“okay then maybe it isnt that serious…” nick trailed off, his shoulders were very visibly tense, not letting off since he caught up to me. “what are you talking about? but come on lemme at least go to my locker.” he reluctantly let’s go knowing i’m stronger than him.
“y/n wait– just know i have no clue if its true or if it's even you.” he says following in suit with me. “nick, still no clue what you are talking about.” my locker lock clicks a few times before i'm able to get it open.
a large barrage of papers fall out of my locker all having the same image pasted on them. my mouth drops open as i turn my head to nick. he picks one up from the top of my locker, unfolding it and making a sour face to it. “what? what is it?”
he slowly hands it to me, folding it back up before i get ahold of it.
my heart dropped.
it was a grainy picture of me riding matt last night, his hands on my hips and my face looking at him with pure lust. it was taken through my window and luckily you couldn’t see much of matt’s face and next to none of mine. but people knew, everyone knew it was me.
picking up a few other copies, some of them have the words slut and whore written on them in large words. if they printed a picture it must’ve been everywhere online, i cannot stand being here another minute.
stuffing a couple copies into my bag i storm out of the building feeling tears stinging my eyes, y/n how could you let this happen? what’s going to happen when harvard finds out about this? there goes your life, your friends, your boyfriend and your future. quadruple kill.
i sit in my car and just drive, drive to the only place that’ll bring me any kind of peace at this time. it was only a 3 minute drive from the school to the large forest that surrounded the school. i parked my car on the slightly wet gravel, hearing the crunch of the rocks beneath the tires.
i walked and walked till the trees seemed to clear a bit, the grass was wet and squished under my shoes. brunette hair peaks from behind a tree, it was like the picture was being painted in front of me this whole time. matt came here too, he came to where we met the first time.
he stumbled into the forest after getting chased by a couple of guys once he tried to start a fight.
something brushed by the bushes alerting me, a boy in an oversized hoodie over his stained red white tee. jeans scuffed and a little dirty as he flops down on the grass in front of me. i can hear him panting as his chest rose and fell with deep breaths.
he tilts his head to finally see me, i still sit there frozen with my book in hand slowly reaching for my keys being cautious incase he tries to go for me next. “i see, you know. im not gonna hurt you. i would never hit a girl.” his words are slow and very unconvincing. “do you talk? he asked, glancing at me again. he finally sat up and came closer to me, my hand clutches the house keys even harder as he steps plop in front of me.
his body collides with the tree as he sits next to me, his sweet and salty cologne fills my senses, feeling it cloud my thoughts. he takes the book from my hands and closes it looking around at it.
“everything has changed by cynthia atlan, we crave love so much we would trade anything for it, including ourselves. caleb and cam grew up together, had their first kiss together but still haven’t thought about getting together. when highschool life takes a horrible turn the two become separated and distant, caleb doesn’t wanna let cam go but life takes turns and loops. how are they able to navigate hormones, relationships and life? sounds like a hoot.” his sarcastic voice says otherwise.
“this caleb guy doesn’t sound like he really deserved her huh…” he flips through the pages quickly glancing at a couple words per page.
“well, i guess i should go, but i’ll see you around here i hope.” his smile beamed brightly as he pushed himself up and looked back at me.
“hm, maybe” it comes out almost as a whisper. his face lights up as he takes my words as an accomplishment. “yeah, i’ll see you around here, tomorrow.”
he never gave me my book back before he left and i didn’t even realise it. i guess that’s one way to make me come back
“matt?” i get out between choked sobs. i didn’t even need to see his red eyes and face to tell he’s also been crying.
he peered over to where i was looking up and down before attempting to wipe away his tears and sadness. i didn’t think twice before joining him.
his brown hair is tousled by him running his hand through it many times and his tear stained eyes tell more than what he wished.
“y/n i-i’m so s-sorry.” his tears spilt once more making any effort of wiping them away futile. he wrapped his arms around something and hugged it tight. it was my book he stole from me when we first met. “i’m so so so fucking sorry i’m such an idiot.”
“matt, please it wasn’t your fault. but i am terrified, i don’t want to ever go back to school.” my voice cracks while trying to get through that sentence. matt doesn’t even utter another word before he tugs me into him, straddling him as he wraps his arms around me in a tight hug.
“i’m so sorry y/n, i didn’t wanna face anyone after i left. when i walked in everyone was applauding and people shook my hand, i had no clue why until chris and nick texted me about it.”
his pure sincerity makes me suffocate him a little more not wanting anyone else around but him. he puts a hand around my cheek guiding it to him to kiss, i get a good look of his equally dishevelled face.
“we are so fucked.” i giggle a little thinking about how much a shit show this will be when we get back.
“is this what they mean in everything has changed that high school life would take a bad turn? because i’m happy to go through it if it means we get our happy ending. you’re my end, end game.”
“yes matt, this is everything. we are the happy ending. we are end game” my quivering lips connect with his.

Hi! Could you write something with Sanji, Zoro, Law (maybe Izo) with a S/O that likes to do graffiti? Like, they have a small ring notebook (idk if it's this, but it's the one that opens and close and u can put more pages) where they keep their small arts, incluiding their name? Pretty pleasee
A/N: I hope I did you justice!! I kept Izo off because I haven’t met him yet (Still in Wano!) but when I get to him I might revisit this and add it!
Characters: gn reader x Sanji, Zoro, Law
Cw: just cute fluff :)
Total word count: 600
Graffiti on His Heart
Sanji
He finds your notebook by accident. He was cleaning up your room to surprise you, and found your binder in a pile of scattered files
You found him a few hours later, mesmerized by your drawings. You rush over to him, trying to cover it, but you see him staring at some decorated block letters “Sanji + Y/N” with a heart around it.
There’s other things around it, quotes you’d heard from the crew and things that happened around the ship that you doodled to make cute page accents, and you can see Sanji’s eyes looking at every single thing you drew, his fingers sliding down the page as he looks.
“You weren’t supposed to find that,” you say, your hands gripping around your notebook.
“What?” his eyes are still on your pages even as you take them away. He looks up at you, and it’s like he just realized you were there.
“Oh, Y/N!” He blushes hard when he realizes he's been caught snooping. “You never mentioned being an artist! This work is magnificent!”
“I dabble sometimes,” you say, closing it quickly. “Nothing fancy.”
“Nothing fancy?!!?” he scoffs. “You could design our logos! You could decorate this whole ship and give it some real character! You should talk to Franky!”
“Oh, thanks Sanji.” His compliment makes you blush. “But I don’t really like to show my work to others or show it off. I just use it as a creative outlet sometimes.”
“Oh!” He looks back at the notebook at smiles. “Well if you ever want someone to show it to, I would love to see the rest of them.”
You sheepishly give the notebook back to him, and the two of you flip through the rest of it together.
Zoro
Zoro walks up to you while you’re sitting on the deck. “Is this yours?” he asks, holding your sketch binder. “I found it in our room. Never seen it before.”
He opens it and flips through it, and you jump up to grab it. “It’s some really good stuff,” he mumbles, and you snatch it out of his hands and snap it closed.
“Thanks!” you say, holding it close to your chest.
“Hey wait, I was still looking!” He reaches out for it but you pull away.
“It’s mine!” you say, taking a few steps back from him so he can’t leap forward and grab it.
He huffs and rolls his eyes, turning away from you to go back to whatever he was doing.
“It looked really good,” he called back to you. “I liked the themed pages you made for each crew members. Especially ours.” He winked at you and walked away without another word.
You’ll occasionally find your binder moved from where you last placed it, or find little extra things (like subtle lines or shading) added to doodles as proof that Zoro was occasionally checking it out, but he doesn’t comment on it or tell anyone else about it. He just waits for you to bring it up and show you again before he outwardly comments on how much he likes your work.
Law
“Law,” you call out, walking into his office. “Have you seen my green binder anywhere?”
“Over here,” he yells from the back room. You walk into his lab to find it sitting on top of his books. He’s measuring out some kind of liquid, focused on getting it perfect. “I really liked what you did with our jolly roger on page three. I was thinking we could adopt it for some of the gear we have.”
“You looked through it?” you gasp, your eyes flicking over to your sketchbook.
His gaze moves away from the beaker in front of him and over to you for a moment. “Was I not supposed to? It was on my desk.”
You cursed silently. You had been doodling last night while he was reshelving some books, you must’ve left it behind when you all went to bed.
He stood up, abandoning his project to put his full attention on you now. “I didn’t know you liked to do graffiti and sketches. We could definitely spruce up the outside of the ship soon and use some of your designs, you know? Or have a crew wall in the common area. The names you did on page ten really captured the essence of each crew member, it’d be cool to have that displayed somewhere.”
You feel anxious at the thought, and Law can feel it. “You don’t have to,” he rushes to say. “It’s just a thought.”
“Can I think about it?” you ask, and he nods in agreement.
“You should show them though. The others. You’re talented, and I’m sure they’d like to see it.”
He goes back to his work, and he doesn’t bring it up again, but he clears off a wall in the common room and sets out some spray paint if you ever feel up for it. And he always keeps his eye out for a chance to steal a glimpse of new work you’ve done in your green binder.

5. Share one of your strengths.
I'm really good at writing gore. I need to flex it more in this fandom
7. Share a snippet from one of your favorite pieces of prose you’ve written and explain why you’re proud of it.
oh it's gotta be this sequence from Plane Crash:
Johnny thinks eventually, perhaps sometime very soon, he’s going to hate fireworks. They pop and crackle around him in bursts of light and color and sound. Set off by joyful triumphant men who chase their shining wakes like boys after a toyboat in the gutter, laughing and prancing and reaching for those bright bursts of fire and gunpowder.
I’ve seen this before , he thinks, Algeria, Bremen, Regensburg, Munster .
If he closes his eyes he sees their glitter trails, smells the sweet smoke when he inhales. He doesn’t hate it, not yet, because today’s the second happiest day of his fucking life , but he thinks someday soon he will.
Standing there, a bottle of gin held loosely in his fingers, Johnny tilts his head to the sky and almost weeps that there is no snow. The smell of honeysuckle is thick like molasses in the air, and he opens his mouth to taste it on his tongue as red and green and blue as blue as the sky flashes across his lids. It’s sweet. The firework ash is bitter.
Voices cheer, rising in song, and jokes, and varying degrees of mirth. Some men are crying, joyful, and wild. Some men are crying, broken and grieved, and tucked under the arms of their buddies.
The war is over.
Frank Murphy, James Douglass, and Charlie Cruikshank are gathered around a burning barrel, trading cigarettes and stories and shouting over each other like it was a game of who could be the loudest amongst them. Ev Blakely is speaking quietly with Helen Kerr, stooped at the shoulders to be heard. Petrohelos and Blum and Hoerr and McCusker and every single boy come home and all the boys who were still around and they’re all safe and alive and Johnny counts them, spinning in a slow circle while mouthing the words.
“You drunk Captain?”
For a moment Johnny thinks it’s Curtis Biddick speaking, though the accent is as far from a Bronx mumble as one could be and Curt was dead. But the cadence, the sudden appearance of a figure, and here on the hardstand where Johnny had once begged the other man to tell him how to be queer, is enough to make him jump.
He whips his head around and then relaxes, nodding stiffly, “Lemmons.”
“Mind if I–?” Ken gestures to the cigarette in his hands and then the lighter in Johnny’s breast pocket, “Mine seems to have been stolen.”
There are lines on the kid's face that shouldn’t be there for another decade and grey in his hair that hadn’t been present before Johnny had gone down. He’s never seen Joy look so tired on a man.
Fumbling for his pocket he leans to light Lemmons’ cigarette, watching the other man inhale with fluttering eyelashes, brows drawing together.
“Not drunk,” Johnny says after a moment, raises the bottle of gin, “Haven’t gotten that far in the plan yet.”
“Falling behind,” Ken comments on his exhale, accent buttery and drawling, fallin’ bahaind.
Wind drags the smoke towards Johnny and he stiffens, a cold hand ghosting over his shoulder. He turns his head in another sharp movement, taking in the fancy script of the pack in Ken’s hand. Familiar as a cologne, Johnny only knew a few men on the base who smoked Chesterfields. And on the lid, a scribbled drawing in red pen because the previous owner had been viciously protective of his things and hated using his signature.
“Curt’s cigarettes,” He says without thinking.
Ken laughs, breathless, and turns the pack over to look at the drawing of an angel wing, “Ah, yeah. Left ‘em on my toolbox one morning and I figured –”
He stops, swallows, and shakes his head with a smile that’s far too old for his young face. Johnny’s pretty sure the kid couldn’t even drink yet back in the States.
“ – Well I figured I’d give him a little celebration. He’s not here to light up in celebration himself so…” He trails off and shrugs, placing the pale stick back between his lips.
“I didn’t realize you were close like that,” Johnny says awkwardly. He resists the urge to check his watch, well aware of the night ticking away. He’d picked up the gin for a reason.
“Well sure, he was always down on the hardstand buggin’ me about his girl wasn’t he?”
Girl could mean Curt’s fort, dead and buried as he was. Girl could mean some made-up dame to feed Curt’s games.
“It’s crazy isn’t it,” Ken says suddenly, voice wild and breathless, “We knew him for months, just months. And now he’s been dead for years. Crazy. You can know a man for only months and he becomes something important .”
Johnny’s heart pounds as he thinks of dry clicking bone and empty eyes.
Ken seems to shake himself and reaches out and claps Johnny on the shoulder, seemingly unbothered at the sharp jut of it concealed under army regulation cotton, “I’m keeping you. It’s been an honor, Sir.”
Johnny blinks at him, has enough presence of mind to nod his head, toss a salute that Ken returns with solemnity, and wanders off into the revelry.
He’s a ghost, mostly. Unknown to a majority of the remaining men. A name, a vague face, or a story tossed around the Officers club late at night. Oh yeah, old Captain Brady, crashed three forts before his luck ran out. Here and there he receives a clap on the shoulder from friends and strangers alike, but mostly he’s able to make his way through the celebrations with ease. Past the barracks and showers and down the hill to one of the original buildings on the base, real stone foundation and wood walls and a cross hanging above the door next to a shiny silver horseshoe that he brushes his fingers against as he passes into the Chapel.
i think Plane Crash in general is some of my best writing in terms of voice and pacing and poetic writing. But this sequence especially was just so fun to write and reread. This entire chapter (Ch 5) is some of my best work
8.Share a snippet from one of your favorite dialogue scenes you’ve written and explain why you’re proud of it.
Oh man ALL my dialogue from Two Fingers Down (my bikeriders au) is sooooo good I think. It's really quick and snappy and clever and Gale and John especially have a ton of verbal chemistry in this one. It just flowed.
“I want to photograph you,” He says, watching Gale break, sink one and then a second ball into the pocket. Misses on the third but lines John up for an easy shot.
“In distinction from what y’were doing before, of course.”
“Aw that, that was just some pig-tail pulling,” John winks, takes three balls for himself, and scratches on the fourth.
“Aint nobody’s muse.”
“We can debate the semantics of that later, but I’m not gonna start shoving a camera in your face now that you’re back if all it’ll get me is a broken nose and a broker camera.”
Gale didn’t look away from his surveying of the pool table, voice almost absent. Competitive then, if not a gambler, “Haven’t broken it yet, have I?”
“Ample time.”
Gale knocks away the solid John had been aiming to drop into the middle pocket and he curses at the blonde good-naturedly. “I mean out on the road, at meets. Maybe interview you a bit.”
“Interview me?” Gale raises an eyebrow, the pale arch vanishing under the few locks of hair that had come out of its careless styling, “What’s there to know? I ride bikes.”
John tilts his head lazily, “Think it’s unfair that you seem to know all these things about me, and I don’t know a lick about you.”
“Hmm,” Gale hums, watching John miss his next shot before stepping back up to plate, “They hit me with a 4F out in Sheridan.”
“On account of you running coke for the Cubans?”
Gale’s lips twitch, “Somethin’ like that Bucky.”
19.Stephen King once said that his muse is a man who lives in the basement. Do you have a muse?
my specialist boy
25. What do you look for in a beta?
i literally have no idea LOL. Ideally we're friends first, someone I trust to look at my stuff and not steal it/be honest about the quality.
27.How do you feel about collaborations?
I got a few cookin' with @reallylilyreally and @euph0riacc
I am also known to help with plot and titling on a @Stereobone fic here and there. Also just. A lot of fics out there lmao I have my fingers in many pots.
28.Share three of your favorite fic writers and why you like them so much.
@reallylilyreally i think is just so phenomenal in the sense that she almost writes threeway relationships better than just two? which isn't to say her one-on-one ship fics aren't AMAZING But idk the ability to balance and interweave three people is where she shines and also so much talent in that? I am in awe I wish I could dissect her brain and steal it for myself and also give her a big hug
@stereobone is like i mean a classic, a given. A wonderful friend and collaborator in the background and also helps me when my phrasing is dumb. But as an author I mean they just. get the era. get the vibes. they dive into the psychology behind sex in a way that's so so so fun. Me every time: he WOULD say that
@blixabargelds i think is a master of AU's. and Trauma. They visceral nature of their writing both in description and subject matter is just insane. It's dirty and uncomfortable and raw and most importantly doesn't feel exploitative (except when that's the point >:) ) their stuff is FUNNY it's painful! it makes me CRINGE (positive) and then want more. It's definitely not fic for the faint of heart. But if you want to be challenged and you want it to be raw this is a great author to explore. Their Roman Roy/Succession stuff is DELIGHTFUL
listen. theres so many. theres so many amazing talented wonderful people I could and want to keep going. @rambleonwaywardson @avonne-writes @middlingmay @johnslittlespoon @whirlpool-blogs @feyd-meowtha @joeyalohadream @irregularcollapse @anachilles @euph0riacc and that's just what I can see in my DM's. Theres SO many and you're all amazing <3
38.Talk about a review that made your day.
OMG THIS ONE THE OTHER DAY I WAS SENDING IT AROUND TO EVERYONE:
Reading this side-by side re-reading this chapter from KFAK and have so many thots.
I find John's self-destructiveness interesting, especially as he seems to observe himself actively *being* self-destructive, drinking while driving, and actively trying to piss off Gale. Seems almost like he wants to sabotage his own happiness as if he doesn't feel he deserves it. Oh, buddy, if only you knew that no matter how much you piss off Gale he'll still love you, even if he doesn't always like what you do.
"he squashes the sudden flare of jealousy. No way was he about to lose the final step in his three part plan to be his old self to a guy who didn’t even like snatch." Oooh John you are *so* close to actually getting why you're actually jealous. Also of *course* he'd call pussy "snatch."
John's bright but so clouded by his own self-loathing that it's not surprising that he mistakes Gale's awkwardness and attraction to John as disliking or being angry with him before John even does anything to anger Gale. "a man who’d rather gnaw a limb off than admit discomfort" is a pretty apt way to describe Gale. I also like him kind of vaguely realizing what gay flirting looks like in real time and John immediately touching Gale's back like 'mine.' No wonder James got mixed signals almost immediately.
“This one was such a cold fish he saw me wrestling with the guards and took his chance to sprint right for the trees.” *Spritzes him in the face with cold water* No! Bad John! I think even being in his mind and knowing that he really didn't mean anything offensive or cruel by it, he seems to be in denial of how easily his words could be construed to mean that he thinks Gale's a heartless coward, and he knows Gale fears that he is and feels guilty about running. He seems to be both trying to push Gale away because he feels he's too damaged and self-destructive to have him but also has trouble gauging what actually hurts him or not.
Part of what makes John such an intriguing and memorable character is that while he's a likable, lovable guy who's brave, funny, and charismatic, he's also flawed and occasionally immature in a way that's frustrating but deeply human, and that's reflected here. His jealousy over Gale not focusing all of his attention on him and being angry at not being "in" on Gale's private conversation with someone else is childish and exasperating but that is where his mindset is; he's been increasingly agitated over a lot of things for quite some time and even as he's not fully willing to admit even to himself that he has feelings for Gale he still wants Gale's attention and adoration is if they were a couple. Reading this concurrently with KFAK I find it kind of funny that Gale's pointedly noticing John flirting with Eunice before John interrupts his conversation with James but in this John doesn't even think about it. It truly means more to Gale than it does to John.
Okay! Yes! There it is! I like how it takes hearing Gale say "Get your cock wet, John" for him to be slammed with the fact that he's attracted to Gale. It's only taken multiple instances of thinking about how beautiful he is to realize it. That his possessive streak that's been going on with Gale isn't just because he's his best friend, but something more, and how he can't take his eyes off of him even as he's about to hook up with a pretty girl.
I'm interesting in reading John's perspective when he sees the fight between Gale and James, and the aftermath of that. Also because I'm hooked again I'm going to reread KFAK.

A Bitter Reunion, Pt. 1
Context: This takes place during the story "The Quest" in which PV is captured by Izheim. Tanner Sherman is a new OC of mine, is native Aeredalian born in Solerin, the capital of Aeredale. He gets wind of PV's capture, and sets out for Izheim in an attempt to catch up to DV specifically to help him. However, the catch is that Tanner hasn't seen DV in nearly a year. There's a reason for this, but understndably so, Dark isn't going to be the happiest upon seeing Tanner after so long. Under the cut, enjoy.
City of Ziggan, Aglos-Izhemian Border. 1:30 PM.
OoOoOoOoOOoOoOoOoOOoOoOoOoOOoOoOoOo
Grand Fountain Square was abound with activity as Yang weaved her way through the crowds, her lilac eyes flickering around to each curious sight. It was only today that her, her boyfriend and crew had reached the country of Aglos on their quest to rescue the Prince of Aeredale, who had been captured by Izheimian forces, likely to further tensions–a long journey it was, indeed, from Aeredale to Izheim, and any small time away from weary travel was welcome, especially if it was spent exploring. The others were discussing their next move back at The Royal Nightingale Inn–giving Yang a chance to step out and witness firsthand what Aglos was all about. Smells from various Aglosian food vendors filled her nostrils, various markets selling curious trinkets caught her eye, the gentle melody of a violin street performer calmed her nerves–but what got the brawler’s attention was a vendor selling local news booklets, for only “60 Kogty”. Humming in thought, Yang approached, briefly scanning through the various headlines. “Ywain’s reign grows ever more treacherous, my lady,” fretted the seller before her. “It seems that’s all the prints ever speak of, nowadays, I’m afraid.” “Believe me, I know–I haven’t heard the end of it. I’ll take one.” Perhaps reading through one of these could provide a clue as to where PV was being held? Rarely, inside information from Aglosian spies ended up in the news–it’d be the group’s big break to finding him and getting him out of cruel Izheim if there was some intel inside.
Booklet in hand, Yang took to a bench and exhaled a sigh. She was just about to begin perusing through the various articles until a voice interrupted the blonde from new thoughts, jumping her slightly. “Sorry to interrupt, but is it OK if I sit here?” The young male looked harmless enough–tall and lanky, slicked back blonde hair and vibrant emerald eyes. Maybe the Greaser leather-decked appearance would put some off, but she was kind of used to her boyfriend dressing as such, badboy and all–kind of. “Ah no, not at all–go right ahead. Just trying to see what all is…” She trailed off, gaze pausing on the blaster pistol situated upon his hip. That gave her a considerable amount of pause as she knew–it was an ATX-750 gun, manufactured in Aeredale, quite difficult to get anywhere else at the present. He followed her gaze and frowned. “Is there a problem?”
His accent was also unmistakably Aeredalian. For some strange reason, Yang couldn’t help but feel a bit wary now. Was her group not the only person making this treacherous journey? Her gaze found itself back at his face for a moment, and blinking nonplussed she cleared her throat, moving to give him space. “Go ahead and sit. It’s just that I noticed some… details about you,” the brawler said bluntly. “You’re not from around here, are you? Are you Aeredalian?” He flashed her a lopsided grin. “Nice eye, I suppose I’m guilty as charged. Name’s Tanner, born and raised.” Yang only tensed, mechanical prosthesis curling tightly around the booklet. Some places of Ziggan weren't necessarily a safe place to be, either, so what the hell was this guy doing here? “And you’re here because…? You do realize that some countries in Eludin are tense right now, right?” she narrowed her eyes at him. “It’s not exactly the right time to be a tourist. Wouldn’t recommend it.” Silence fell between the two, Tanner’s face falling. Oh boy, here it came–he had to explain himself now didn’t he? Was bound to come ‘round at some point, he thought, no avoiding it. Rubbing his neck, the Greaser fidgeted for a moment as he struggled to put together the right way to explain his presence at the Izheimian border. “Let’s just say I’m looking for somebody,” he responded. “I didn’t come here just for fun, as I’m sure you didn’t either.” This only added to Yang’s confusion. Who would an Aeredalian want this far out?
Sensing that she was still tense, Tanner sighed and licked his lips before leaning forward on the bench. “I’m legit, I swear. I… Have a hunch you may know this guy.” Reaching into his jacket pocket, Tanner retrieved his phone and pulled up a photo: a familiar scene: Solerin Palace, just outside the gates--there he stood with DV, both men posing with their motorcycles. Yang’s lilac eyes nearly bulged out of her skull–this guy knew… No, no, no, that had to be a manipulation! Quickly reeling away from the bench to her feet, she was now properly bristling, causing Tanner only to wince despite expecting such a reaction. “Who the hell are you, and how do you know my boyfriend?!” she demanded, mind awhirl. “I don’t know you, and you’re claiming to be ‘legit’?” The hurt was evident and Tanner held hands up placatingly, not wanting a fight in front of an entire crowd–and especially now, since he was so close to his goal. “Hold on, let me explain, please! DV and I are friends, I promise. I wouldn’t hurt him,” the young man insisted. “It’s just that stuff happened to me, and… I haven’t had contact with him in nearly a year. I’m here to help him.” She still wasn’t standing down, yet anyway. This sudden intrusion needed more answers. Why now? Was there a catch, was Tanner just in it for himself? “How did you know he was here? The fact that you’re even aware that he came here…” He only responded with another lopsided grin. “Well, I mean–our home country’s Prince is gone and he goes after him. Word will get around when your ruler isn’t rulin’, don’tcha think? Listen, I swear by the Gods above me my intentions are pure. I just want to see him.”
He did have a point, that much Yang had to admit… Reluctantly, the blonde seemed to relax only slightly, subsequently turning her back towards Tanner. At this point, it looked like she didn’t have much of a choice and was stuck with the guy. “You know what? Fine. I’ll take you to him, Come with me,” she finally surrendered, lilac eyes trailing toward the cobblestone pavement. “Be warned though–I wouldn’t expect his reaction to be very receiving.” Heading off, the Greaser could only blink toward her direction, dumbfounded–for a few moments he found his legs frozen. Willing them to finally move, he scurried after Yang, and thought to himself: “You’ve come this far–now don’t screw it up, Tanner.” Even if Dark didn't take kindly to his abrupt reappearance, he'd have closure knowing that it was known Tanner was still among the living. After all, to his friend it likely seemed like he just completely vanished--but he was determined to try and make things right. It was now, or never–and he was determined to see his friend again, come rain or come shine.
#random undine writings#urgrgrhrgrh i want to delete this later so bad i'm scared to post my writing anywhere anymore..#as for what tanner's hunch was that Yang knew Dark let's just say that he got it from Aglosian intel...#or Tanner was just asking around until he found somebody that knew? Sorry for omitting this I just realized

Healing Hands
Summary: The attack on Kamar-Taj goes a bit differently than the stories say.
Warnings: Blood, death, burns.
Pairing: Wanda Maximoff x Sorceress!Reader
A/N: Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii! So I feel like I haven’t updated in ages, so this is a little excerpt from my WIPs that I thought you might like! Idk what I should do with it tbh :’) This is also like a prologue!
pt. i, pt. ii, pt. iii, pt. iv, pt. v, pt. vi
*not my gif*
The battle was lost. There was no denying it. As soon as the Scarlet Witch had broken through the mind of a single sorcerer, the battle was lost.
Death followed her. Your friends, lifelong friends, were gone. Those in the beds in front of you were clinging onto life with a deceivingly weak grip.
Sparks flew next to you, but they didn’t alarm you. “Y/N, you need to leave. The Scarlet Witch cannot find you.”
“If anybody needs to leave, it’s you, Wong. You’re Sorcerer Supreme, you know more than all of us combined. She’ll try to expunge that knowledge from you, in any way she knows how.” You barked as your hands hovered above an injured young sorcerer, charred burn wounds running the length of his left side.
The blue wisps falling from your fingertips streaked around the young boy’s body. He couldn’t be more than 9 or 10, and yet he was fighting for his life against the most powerful force known to you.
Your hands began to shake before the tips of your magic, the ones that surrounded the boy’s body, turned black. You fought against it, you really did, but Wong pulled you away as the boy passed on.
“She’s infecting them, Wong. Some sort of dark magic, trying to seep energy out of anything it touches.” You grimaced, angered that you lost him.
You looked at the dead bodies around you. You could have saved them, but the Scarlet Witch was powerful.
You turned to Wong. “Go. Protect the girl. I’ll hold her off.”
“Absolutely not!” He snarled, but you took his shoulders gently.
“Wong… She cannot take her power. Go.”
He gave you a defeated look before hugging you tightly. “It’s been a pleasure to be your friend.”
“Please, let it be mine.” You chuckled.
You stepped back from him before bowing traditionally, bidding him goodbye as he portalled away. You also made your own portal, your Slingy wrapped neatly around your fingers until you came face-to-face with the outside of Kamar-Taj.
The once masterful fortress had crumbled beneath the touch of the Scarlet Witch. Pillars had crumbled to the ground, cannons had destroyed the roofs of nearby healing huts, and you recognised the bodies writhing in the Witch’s grip.
“Where is he?!” She demanded of them, a hiss in her tone - an accent, perhaps?
She turned around at the feeling of your mind. It was bright, much brighter than those in her clutch. Almost warm, in fact. “The Sorcerer Supreme will not be speaking with you today.” You spoke monotonously, your fingers interlocked as they hung by your waist.
“And who might you be?” She asked, her magic no longer torturing your friends but they were still in her hold.
“Healer Y/N, get away! Run!” Rintrah bellowed at you, but she covered his mouth with a red seal.
“Y/N, huh?”
“I am Healer Y/N, yes.” You replied.
“And what exactly does a healer do?” She queried, taking a few steps closer to you as you stood at the top of the stone stairs.
“It is in the name, Wanda Maximoff - I heal those who are wounded.”
Wanda hadn’t heard her full name for a while, amused that you would both know and use it.
“Tell me, Y/N, what kind of wounds can you heal?”
You eyed her foot as she stepped up. “Burns, as of late. But lacerations, bruises, broken bones-”
“How about a broken heart?”
You raised an eyebrow at her. “I’m afraid those kinds of injuries take a bit longer to heal.”
“How long would you say? If you had to estimate?”
Even though the urge to step back came when she climbed the second set of stairs, you kept your ground, leaving you one more set between the two of you. “Depends. What damage did the heart take? What love was lost?”
“Parental.” A step. “Brotherly.” Another. “Motherly. Marital.”
She came to your eye length on the second last step, taking the final two to stand a few inches above. “Familial.”
“Then I’m sorry, Ms Maximoff, but your heart will need time to heal. Long, precarious time, with abilities beyond my own-”
“Oh, but you can learn, can’t you?” Wanda interrupted, raising her blackened fingertips to your cheek.
“Isn’t that how the world works? By learning?”
“I-”
“Time is but a human construct to comprehend the vastness of the universe. The multiverse. Is there nothing you could do to learn more, to be faster than you are now?”
You held up a hand to her, your eyebrows furrowing. “If you wish for an answer, then you will give me time to speak.”
She smiled at you, stepping back once. It wasn’t much, but she was then silent as she waited for your response.
You sighed, folding your arms. Wanda’s eyebrows raised in alarm - a sorcerer’s arms were its weapons. What on earth were you?
“There is a way I can heal you faster than originally thought.”
Her eyes widened before her smile grew. “Great. How?”
“Let my friends go.”
Her eyebrows furrowed. “No.”
“Then may you suffer for as long as your heart desires.” You turned around.
Anger bubbled inside of the witch before she threw a blast at your turned back, surprised when a barrier of blue blocked it. You turned again, your glowing eyes a frightening sight.
“Harming me will do you no good, Ms Maximoff.”
“ARGH!” She growled, whipping a wisp around you before she brought you closer, a firm grip on your healer cloak.
“If you will not give me an answer, I will reap it out of you, one day at a time.”
A glowing red sigil to your right alarmed Rintrah and his horns glowed, eldritch magic shooting out to grab your ankle. Wanda looked between him, the golden chain, and you, watching you shake your head at the R'Vaalian before blue magic cut through the chain like a hot knife.
*She needs it, Master Rintrah. Tell Wong not to come for me - this is something that must be done to protect the multiverse.* You sent the thought to him before Wanda’s sigil consumed you, red dust clouding your vision as she knocked you unconscious.
A/N - Ideas are welcomed!

I can request a scenario in which the reader is rescued by the police or by someone who cares about her and thinks she is saving from the Slachers (Brahms, Jason, Michael, Vincent, Bo and another killer of her choice).
What would happen next, would the Slachers go after their reader and bring them home with them? Would the Slachers cause a massacre with people who cross your path, perhaps?
((Note: S / O is not a victim or hostage of the Slashers, but his girlfriend)).
Absolutely! Thank you for the request and patience! I think family/friends will work better in these situations so I hope you don't mind! Also I'm gonna skip Michael because I can't come up with anything for him and the other scenarios are super long. I hope it makes up for it <3
TW: Violence
F/N: Friends Name
Brahms Heelshire
It had definitely taken some getting used to when it came to living with Brahms
Between the HUGE mansion and the man himself
But you adapted into the role and settled in relatively well
However, you dropped contact with outside people quite suddenly
The cell reception had became increasingly worse and the landline phone had finally given out
When you tried to leave Brahms would insist on you staying
Which left your brother quite worried (pretend if you don't have one)
After multiple failed call attempts he decided to visit the address you had given him after accepting the job
He continued to try and call once he landed
Sure he'd be annoyed if you answered but would be happy you even did
However you didn't
So he made his way out to the mansion and parked in front of you
You were busy doing some cleaning and hadn't heard the car door slam shut
Brahms did though
A knock rang from the front door and you answered it, seeing your brother in front of you
You were confused and questioned why he was there
"You haven't been answering ANY of my calls. What the hell happened?" He seemed more concerned than angry
You knew Brahms would have heard him by now and one major rule was "no visitors"
Your stomach dropped
"Oh, um. The cell reception here is garbage and I haven't had time to get a new landline." You partially lied
"Well I'm glad you're safe. Mom wanted me to stay for a few days if that would be alright. I hate to invite myself but you know how mom is."
Your stomach sank further
"U-Uh actually, I'm not allowed to have visitors stay. Really not supposed to have anyone stay at all."
He raised his eyebrow. "Aren't you just watching some doll? Come on, Y/N you gotta be lonely. This place seems huge."
"Just go back home and tell mom I'm fine. I'm gonna be here till my job is done. Okay?" You wanted to make him leave without worrying him or him seeing Brahms
However, you noticed his eyes shift behind you and then widen
Oh fuck
"Go. Home." You told him but he didn't have to be told twice, already halfway to his car
You turned around to see Brahms behind you and you figured his size was enough to scare your brother
You just hoped he wouldn't tell your mom what really happened
Jason Voorhees
You had been at Camp Crystal Lake with Jason for quite a bit before anyone came to see if you were there
Cell reception was basically nonexistent so you hadn't had contact with the world since you had decided to stay with Jason
Your sister (pretend if you don't have one) remembered how much you loved Crystal Lake though and wondered if maybe you had ran away to the abandoned and dilapidated cabins
You were just taking a walk when your heard a female voice screaming your name
You instantly knew who's voice it was
You hoped Jason hadn't heard, scared of what he would do to her for trespassing
You ran towards the voice and you thought your sister was going to faint when she saw you coming towards her
"Y/N?" She almost didn't seem to believe you were right in front of her
"Hey dork, what's up?" You asked, trying to seem casual
"What's up?" She seemed stunned and then angry. "What do you mean 'what's up'?! You ran away and then just act as if nothing happened?!"
"Hey keep it down. Look, I'm sorry. I just was tired of everything and decided to see if I could stick it out here by myself for a while. I'm trying to renovate an old cabin to make a sort of house and I don't want ANYONE knowing where I am." The whole story was pretty much a lie. "I was just so overwhelmed with everything I needed a getaway. Don't tell anyone where I am. Please?"
She was silent as she processed everything. "What about Jason? Isn't he supposed to kill anyone who lives here or roams here?" She was almost positive the whole story of Jason wasn't real but she was still curious
"Well I mean. I'm still intact so I'm gonna say he doesn't exist." You lied.
She nodded a bit. "I've just been so worried about you. Just...try and let me know you're okay ever so often. Alright?"
You nodded and she headed back for her car
Once she was out of sight you started to head back to the cabin only to bump into Jason's chest
You jumped slightly in surprise, not having heard him sneak up and explained that she was your sister
He nodded before bringing you back to the cabin
Vincent Sinclair
You were sitting silently in the woods with Vincent as a victim made their way into the small town, pulling into the gas station
You were fairly far away and hidden by the foliage but you recognized who stepped out of the car
He had papers in his hand with large red letters spelling "MISSING" on the top and your face under it
It was your friend
Well he thought of himself as your friend
You didn't mind him but he would act obsessive towards you, wanting to hang out as much as possible and even interjecting himself into conversations you were having
You knew he had good intentions but couldn't help but feel annoyed just by his presence
He walked into the gas station, likely to ask about you
You knew what would happen
Vincent seemed to notice how closely you looked at the guy
It was different from past victims
"Who's that?" He signed
"An old...friend of mine. Well, he thought we were friends. He got on my nerves." You signed back
Vincent nodded a bit as you continued, "He had a thing for me I think. He was obsessed to say the least."
Jealousy started to come over him at what you said even though he knew you didn't return the feelings
He'd make sure he wasn't made into a wax figure
Just tortured and then disposed of
Bo Sinclair
You leaned against the gas station counter as Bo worked in the garage as per usual
You were fairly sure it would just be another normal day
Nobody coming to bother you
However a car pulled up and parked by a gas pump, shutting off as someone stepped out
No
No it couldn't be
Your old friend
You hadn't spoken to her in years
She still looked the same
You didn't know if you hoped she wouldn't recognize you or that she would
She pushed her sunglasses to the top of her head as she pushed the door opened but stopped in her tracks as her eyes scanned your face
"Y/N?"
You reluctantly nodded and stood up, walking out from behind the counter
Tears welled up in her eyes as she pulled you into a hug to which you returned
"I-I can't believe this. We all thought you were dead!" Emotions swirled rapidly through her voice. Pain, excitement, nostalgia
"What?" You asked, confused
"I've missed you so much." She held you by your shoulders. "I didn't even mean to come here. I made a wrong turn and then was gonna come ask for directions."
Well that sounded oddly familiar
"Well I'm glad to see you. I'm alright. Just uh, decided to live here. I like how secluded it is." She turned to look at the side door to the garage as it was pushed open and Bo entered the room.
"Well hello there." He said in his normal charming accent, greeting your friend and seeing her as a victim. "Who might you be?"
"Oh this is F/N, she's been friends with me since we were in school."
He nodded a bit and she raised her eyebrow. "Well who's this Y/N?" She smirked
"This is Bo. He's my boyfriend. He works in the mechanics shop." You told her
She nodded and smiled.
"Well have a look around if you want any snacks. I gotta help Bo with something in the garage." You lied, tugging him into the garage and shutting the door behind you
"Do NOT hurt her." You sternly said and he raised his eyebrow
"I can't risk her telling people about this town." He responded.
"She doesn't even know what this town is. I think she missed the sign." You told him and he sighed, rubbing the bridge of his nose
"She could be lying."
You shook your head. "She won't tell anyone."
You walked back out and smiled at her, taking her money to pay for her snack
"You didn't see me okay?" She raised her eyebrow
"Some things happened that I don't want to get into right now but I can't go back for a while. Just let them think I'm dead and move on. Okay?" She nodded after a moment
"Have a safe trip." You said sweetly, giving her one last hug before she left

With a buzzing head I woke up. I shouldn’t have drank so much yesterday. Feeling the after effects of the alcohol I consumed yesterday, I looked at the sleeping figure next to me. A gorgeous man with brown hair and tattoos that fitted him perfectly. I smiled to myself, knowing he was the reason I probably drank a little too much yesterday. There was no way I would have found the courage to actually talk to him otherwise. He looked like an angel sleeping so peacefully in my queen-sized bed. As I looked at his sleeping figure, an idea popped into my head. I grabbed my notebook and went to my balcony that was connected to my bedroom. Looking at him one last time through the huge window in front of me. I opened my notebook and started writing down some lyrics in memory of last night.
You should take it as a compliment That I got drunk and made fun of the way you talk You should think about the consequence Of your magnetic field being a little too strong
“We wanted to start working on our next album soon too.” , the gorgeous man in front of me said with an Italian accent.
After a few drinks I was finally talking to him. I was too busy taking in his beauty that I didn’t really listen to what he just said to me. All of a sudden, I started giggling.
“You know, your accent is so funny, I love it. Like the way you pronounce some words? Hilarious”.
“Thanks, I guess?”
I cringed a little thinking about this specific moment. If he knew the only reason I was making a fool out of myself in front of him was his magnificent appearance, he would take it as a compliment. He probably already knew that was the reason. How could he not know? It’s not like he has never looked in a mirror. Also, there is no way, I am the first person that had to suffer from his magnetic self. By now he should know what his whole existence is doing to people.
And I got a boyfriend, he's older than us He's in the club doing, I don't know what You're so cool, it makes me hate you so much (I hate you so much)
“Shouldn’t your boyfriend be here as well?” the beautiful Italian boy asked.
“My wha- Oh you mean Andre? He isn’t my boyfriend. The media just made that up after we went out once, and I was caught at two of his games. We haven't talked in months. He’s probably at some club right now, annoying some poor girl.”
At that moment I thought I’ve seen a small smile appear on his face. He then just turned to the bar tender, ordering another beer. God, how could he just keep his cool like this the whole night. Usually it was the other way around. People would stand drunk in front of me trying to make a move, while I just stood there unimpressed. He really made me feel like an insecure fourteen-year-old girl again, and I hated him for that
Whisky on ice, Sunset and Vine You've ruined my life, by not being mine
“The sunset is really beautiful today” Damiano stated sipping on his glass of Whisky. I nodded in agreement while I ate a grape from the vine that was placed on the bar counter.
The bar were at was on top of a small mountain somewhere outside Rome. From there we had a great view over the whole city of Rome and how the sun met the city's skyline. It really was beautiful, still it was nothing compared to him. I wish he would’ve been mine, so I could’ve rested my head on his shoulder right there and then, but he wasn’t.
You should take it as a compliment That I'm talking to everyone here but you (but you, but you)
“I’m glad we’re finally getting a chance to talk after you talked to, well, everyone else at this bar except me.”, the handsome man called me out while he sat down next to me.”
Feeling a bit caught, I just gave him an awkward smile. I tried to come up with a reasonable excuse, that was less embarrassing than ‘Yeah sorry about that, I was just too scared to talk to you because you look like you’re straight out of my dreams.’
“I’m really sorry about that! It was just that every time I was done talking to someone, the next person already stood behind me wanting to talk.” I lied.
“It’s alright. I guess that's what happens when you’re a world-famous singer.”
And you should think about the consequence Of you touching my hand in the darkened room
It was now 11pm and the sky outside was completely dark. The lights in the bar were also dimmed a bit, creating a cozy atmosphere. Damiano and I were in the middle of our conversation, as he accidentally grabbed my hand, that was resting on the bar counter, instead of his drink. It felt like an electric shock. An electric shock that woke up the butterflies inside my body. My hand started to tingle, and I’m pretty I was full on blushing now.
If you've got a girlfriend, I'm jealous of her But if you're single that's honestly worse 'Cause you're so gorgeous it actually hurts
“So do you have a girlfriend?, at this point I was so drunk I didn’t even care how this question came across anymore.
I was pretty sure he in fact had a girlfriend, I mean how could he not looking like this?
“No I don’t.” Thank god. “It’s kinda hard building up a real relationship with someone when you're always busy, but I guess you can tell me a thing or two about it too.”
Oh, yes, I could. Still I would drop everything I was doing right now, just to be with him.
Chocolate brown eyes looking in mine I feel like I might sink and drown and die
Just as my confidence made a small comeback, I made the mistake to directly look into Damianos beautiful brown eyes. There really wasn’t a single thing about him that wasn’t extremely beautiful. I started to feel a bit dizzy as a wave of heat rushed through my body. What is this man doing to me?
Just thinking about it again made my heart beat three times faster.
You make me so happy, it turns back to sad, yeah There's nothing I hate more than what I can't have You are so gorgeous it makes me so mad You make me so happy, it turns back to sad, yeah There's nothing I hate more than what I can't have
For like the million time this evening, he made a laugh. Great, so he wasn’t just incredibly handsome, but also extremely funny. I didn’t realize how happy I was in his presence until I remembered he wasn’t mine. Suddenly I felt kind of sad, thinking about how I maybe would never see him again after tonight. I just wanted to grab his hand and run away with him. Somewhere I could be alone with him. Somewhere he would be only mine.
Guess I'll just stumble on home to my cats Alone, unless you wanna come along
I looked at the clock that was hanging on the wall behind the bar tender. I was shocked when I realized it was already midnight. There was no way we’ve been talking for like three hours now. I scanned the room for my friends, I went here with in the first place.
“Looking for someone specific?” Damiano asked, now also looking in the direction I was looking in.
“Just my friends, but it seems like they already went home. I’ll check if they texted me” I picked up my phone, checking if I had a message from my friends.
‘Hi babe, we already went home, we were kinda tired. Have fun talking to handsome stranger. You better tell us everything tomorrow ;)’
“Did they text you?”
“Yes, my friend texted me that they already went home. Guess I’ll have to go home alone then. At least my cats are waiting for me.” I stood up and tried to make my way over to the wardrobe to get my coat. Unfortunately I forgot how drunk I actually and almost tripped as I tried to walk. Alcohol and heels really are not a good combo. Thankfully Damiano grabbed my arm helping me to stabilize myself.
“You’re sure, you’ll make it home alone?”
“Yes, I am a big girl. Unless you wanna come along.” I said with a cheeky grin on my face.
Damiano left out a soft chuckle. He paid for our drinks and then accompanied me on my way back home.
“It’s already pretty late, if you want to, you can stay over.” I told him after he brought me up to my bedroom.
“That would be nice, thanks.”
After I got myself ready for bed, I basically fell into my cozy bed, cuddling myself up in my soft sheet.
“You mind telling me where your guestroom is before falling asleep?” the Italian boy asked with an amused look on his face.
“Mmh, I don’t know. Just sleep here, it's fine.” I answered him, already half asleep.
After that, I probably fell asleep, since I don’t remember anything else that happened.
You're so gorgeous I can't say anything to your face (to your face) 'Cause look at your face
“Good morning.” I heard a raspy voice say.
I looked up from my notebook and came face to face with Damiano gorgeous figure. His hair was messy, and he still looked a bit sleepy. Since he just wore a pair of boxer shorts, I could finally see all the tattoos that covered his upper body. All of a sudden I felt the same way as I did last night when I saw him for the first time. The words were stuck in my throat and I felt the anxiety build up in my body. How does he manage to make me feel this way by just existing?
“Good morning. Did you sleep well?” I somehow managed to say.
“Yes I did thank you. What are you doing?” he asked me curiously as he sat down on the garden chair next to me.
“I’m just writing a song. The idea came to mind when I woke up.”
“Not gonna lie, it’s pretty impressive that you’re able to write a song now after you could barely walk yesterday.” a small laugh left his mouth. “Can I see it?”
“No, it’s kinda awful. I’m to hungover to write something good now. I just wanted to write the idea down.” I lied, I actually really liked the stuff I wrote so far, but he would probably think I’m a freak when he found out I wrote a song about after knowing him for a day.
“Can you at least tell me what it is about?”
“So you can steal my brilliant idea? No, thanks.” we both started laughing. “I can offer you breakfast though”
“I’m fine with that too” he said flashing me his beautiful smile
And I'm so furious At you for making me feel this way But what can I say? You're gorgeous
We were now sitting on my roof garden eating breakfast. Damiano told me some things about his life and what interests he had. As he did, so I looked at him in awe. I really started crushing on him as he continued to talked about his last tour with a huge smile on his face. I hated it that I was practically on my knees for him already, but how could I not? He’s perfect.
“I could really get used to this, you know?” he said out of nowhere.
“Me too.” I responded, not really questioning what he meant.
I also didn’t care as long as it involved us spending time together. I would make him mine no matter what.

omg
could you do something between the lines of reader being Ethan's s/o but sometimes having a thing with Vic? but, like, not cheating, they all know and are cool with it 💗
Smoke on the room
Ethan x Reader X Vic
A/N: ok so this is my first måneskin fic, i am very new to their fandom but anyway i hope y'all like it! I still don't have a link to the måneskin requests but for now they can send me messages!! <3
"It's not like she's the worst singer in the world, Thomas!" Damiano pulled a cigarette from the wrapper. "Miley is just better."
The cigarette package now passed through everyone's hand, and taking out a cigarette and lighting it - lo seemed to all of us a cooler activity than listening to Thomas and Damiano arguing about Lana Del Rey and Miley Cryus.
"It would be better if you two would shut up." Vic spoke up lighting probably his third cigarette of the night.
The large collection of bracelets on her arm made pleasant noises as she did so, it was the only sound, along with Damiano's voice muttering some swear words, that could be heard inside the tiny booth of a nightclub that was used as a dressing room for the band.
Ethan's fingers traced small involuntary circles on the exposed skin of my arm, and in his other hand he held the cigarette and removed it from his lips, throwing his head back to release the smoke.
"I think I prefer Lana Del Rey too." I spoke as Thomas handed me the lighter and soon after we slapped our hands together in a high five.
"You guys are the worst." Damiano raised his middle finger at us as he stood up and shook his empty beer bottle, "I'm going to get more booze so I can put up with you guys!"
"You saw he took your guitar, right?" Ethan asked Thomas.
"Shit!" In less than 10 seconds the guitarist was on his feet running and screaming trying to find Damiano, probably remembering the time the lead singer hid his guitar after they had argued about which was the best Toy Story movie.
Vic dragged the chair from the small table they were using as a dressing table with an eyeliner in his hand. "Can I?" She asks Ethan as she sits down on the other side of the couch.
"You're going to stick it in my eye anyway, Vic." Ethan smiles taking just one more drag before turning his face to her.
"And you love it!" Victoria laughs as she begins to outline his eyes.
"A little." He laughs for a second before Vic tells him to stand still so she doesn't miss.
I smile at the scene as I settle down on the couch releasing the smoke from my cigarette.
"I'm done!" Vic smiles satisfied as she holds Ethan's face and turns him to me.
"I loved it." I smile at Ethan and he leaves a quick kiss on my lips.
Vic smiles at both of us and stands up going to the dressing table again. "Now you, signora." She jokes letting the little bit of a Danish accent show.
"No, thank you. But I'm not a rock star who is going on stage from here" I stop talking to look at my watch on my wrist and then look back at her and smile. "15 minutes!"
"Come on! It's quick." Vic smiles and slaps the chair in front of her. "And without the cigarette."
I roll my eyes playfully and pass my cigarette to Ethan, who will soon be done with his.
As I sit down in the chair, Vic starts rummaging through one of her purses and turns to Ethan.
"Nude or Red?"
"Hmm, red" He replies throwing what's left of his cigarette into the ashtray.
"It's not the least bit feminist for you to ask a man to choose the color of my lipstick" I speak laughing at her.
"You're too indecisive to choose between two things." She takes the lipstick and winks at me.
I smile as she approaches me.
"Mouth closed, girl!"
There's no controlling some goosebumps I feel when Vic runs her fingers through my hair, holding the back of my neck.
I look at Ethan out of the corner of my eye and see my boyfriend smiling sideways with a cloud of smoke around him.
"You guys want more drink?" He asks getting up from the couch, scooping up some ash that fell into his pants.
"I'll have a beer." Vic speaks stepping back a little to take a quick look at Ethan.
With my lipstick still close to my lips, I reply "Same."
Ethan smiles at us and turns toward the door.
Victoria continues to dab the lipstick on my lips for a few seconds and when she moves a little closer and holds the back of my neck a little tighter I can't resist playing with the gold details on the hem of her shorts.
"Don't unfocus me." She runs her thumb around my lower lip.
"Sorry." I smile lightly against her finger.
When she finishes wiping, she takes a haul of paper to clean her fingertips, but doesn't pull away. Our knees still touch, and if she were to bend down our mouths would do the same.
And she does just that when I look at her again after turning to the mirror on the table.
She holds my chin and looks at my lips.
"Did you like it?"
And when Vic's lips slowly touch mine I can't remember to answer the question.
"Won't that make the lipstick smear?" I whisper against her mouth.
"It dries fast."
I place one of my hands on her waist, playing with her feel and the other goes up to her blonde hair. When our tongues are occupied with each other, all you can taste is beer, nicotine, and the strawberry essence of lipstick.
When Vic makes mention of sitting on my lap, I end our kiss, smiling at her and holding her waist.
"You have five minutes to get on stage, bass player." She looks at me incredulously at first but then laughs and pulls away as little as possible.
"I hate you." She smiles turning to the table to touch up her gloss.
"Damiano! There's no way I can play guitar without the guitar!" Damiano enters the dressing room as Thomas follows him.
Ethan enters right behind holding three bottles of beer, one half full and the other two full.
Vic walks past him and takes one of the bottles, kisses him on the cheek and walks out the dressing room door. "See you on stage, kids!"
Before I can grab the other bottle, which Ethan extends in my direction. Damiano steps in front of me and takes it. "Thanks, honey!" and heads toward the door as well. But he doesn't leave before he yells. "Don't even think about having sex now, Ethan Torchio! We have three minutes."
"Yes! And you still haven't returned my guitar!" Thomas runs after Damiano for the second time in the night.
Ethan laughs with slightly red cheeks and holds out his beer to me. I take a sip and hand it back to him.
He approaches me smiling and runs his finger along the corner of my mouth, "It was a little smudgy." He smirks, losing his shyness from seconds ago.
I slap his arm lightly and kiss him.
Ethan smiles at me and kisses the top of my head before intertwining our hands. "Let's go, babe"

Interview with James Baxter (the Human)
Guess what, everyone? I just had the pleasure of exchanging emails with James Baxter—that’s right the James Baxter! James is something of a legend in the animation world, and he is known for his beautifully expressive animation style that is able to make even the simplest shape look majestic and full of life. In addition to the myriad movies he has worked on, James also contributed special animation to Adventure Time, working on season five’s “James Baxter the Horse” and season eight’s “Horse and Ball”; not only was the character named after him, but he even got to voice his horse doppelgänger!
And so, without further ado, Mr. James Baxter the Human:
GunterFan: I know that you've recounted it before, but would it be possible to get your take on the 'origin story' of the "James Baxter the Horse" episode. How did it all come together?
James Baxter: Well, Pen and I were in contact with each other while I was working at DreamWorks. I had known about him since he had left CalArts and I had already told him how much I liked Adventure Time, and I had told him that if he ever needed me to do anything to give me a call. I guess he heard me because later he asked me to meet him at a tiny sandwich place that was on Flower St. and Sonora in Burbank (it's called Little Ground now, but I can't remember what it used to be back then). There, he pitched me the idea for the character and he gave me a quick sketch of James Baxter the Horse. I said yes, absolutely I would love to animate and voice that for you, that sounds amazing. He also reminded me of one of my animation demo lectures that I had done at CalArts when he was a student there. I usually ask for suggestions from the students of what they would like me to animate for them, so they can see the thought process. At that lecture someone yelled out, "Do a horse balancing on a ball!" (it may have been Pen) I guess as a goof, knowing that might be a little tricky for a quick demo. I remember asking for something a little simpler please. I suppose Pen remembered that moment because that's where the idea came from. As far as the actual episode goes, and what happens in it, that's all Pen and his team.
GF: What was the animation process like? How long did it take you to get everything all together?
JB: I saw the storyboard, and they gave me a printed copy of it, as well as some exposure sheets for the shots that the horse was in. I spent a little time working out some different cycles that I could move between, James balancing in place, James turning in a circle etc. I was trying to do cycles that could be reused over and over in different shots to save on work. it was all animated on paper and all the clean up drawings were done by my wife Kendra. Then all those drawings were shipped overseas to the production studio that was doing the rest of the animation for the show, so that they could do the color and compositing. I guess it took us about a month or six weeks, but I was only working on it evenings and weekends.
GF: How much say did you have with regard to the character design? What about key poses? Were you given creative freedom?
JB: I was given a lot of freedom. I just had that one sketch that Pen had drawn, but he had suggested that I give it a more flowing mane and tail. I remember sending a drawing of mine back to the team at Cartoon Network so that they could do a color model for him. As far as key poses went, I just had the boards to go from, which were clear but not super detailed, so I had a lot of freedom to make up the animation as long as I stayed true to the staging and to the length of the shots. By the time i got the exposure sheets the dialogue tracks had already been written on them, which is common practice, so I could animate to the sound.
GF: I love James Baxter (the Horse)'s voice! What inspired the accent and the whinny? What was the recording process like?
JB: I guess the voice is me just trying to be horsey, and a little posh, and British. He only ever says his name (no trouble remembering the lines!), so it's a little hard to really define an accent, but I'm British so that's where I went. My natural accent hovers somewhere over the mid-Atlantic since I've lived in the US for over thirty years. The whinny is just me trying not to cough as I'm trying to make horsey noises! Voice acting is not my talent, but it was a lot of fun, mostly because it was so surreal just saying my own name in different ways for half an hour! They were very nice and patient with me.
GF: I haven't been able to find a lot of info on "Horse and Ball." What was that like? Was it different the second time?
JB: How did you feel returning to the show? Well, I was very pleased to get another chance to do more James Baxter, but there was more footage of him in the second episode and I had less time to do it. That meant that I only animated a few shots of him in that episode, not all of him as I had done in the first one. I would have loved to have done it all, but there just wasn't time. But it was just as fun to animate, especially falling off the ball and the dance at the end.
GF: What has the reception been like on your end? Do folks ever connect your name to the character without realizing that they're both you?
JB: I’ve never had the "Oh, I never knew that James Baxter was a real person" comment face to face, but I've seen it quite a lot in comment sections on YouTube and other places online. I've got to say, it's very gratifying having this amazing alter-ego of me in AT, especially since he's such a benevolent character. I'm glad Pen didn't decide to make him a jerk! All he does is ride around cheering people up, how amazing is that?! It's certainly become a gateway for a whole lot of people to discover me as an artist, not just a cartoon character.
I hope to incorporate all this information into the second edition of Exploring the Land of Ooo... one day. Either way, thank you James Baxter for not only agreeing to a little interview, but also making the world a better place!

Hey, could I request some Hifumi, Teruteru, and Ryoma comforting their S/o from a bad break up with a toxic ex which ends in them confessing their love to the reader? I'm kinda going through that right now... It doesn't need to be perfect, I just need some comfort from my boys...
Notes: OF COURSE- im so glad I can help comfort you with my writing right now. If you need to talk I’m always available. I can send you words of encouragement! :) please I hope you feel better soon. (Sorry if any of this is poorly portrayed, I myself have never gone through this but it hurts seeing someone you know go through it)
Warnings: mention of toxic person
Characters: Hifumi Yamada, Teruteru Hanamura, Ryoma Hoshi
Teruteru Hanamura
Everything felt like hell. You were sobbing, it felt hard to breathe, your heart was hurting. Teruteru pressed his ear against the door. He felt horrible that you were going through so much pain.
He took in a breath and decided to walk, it pained him so much to see you in this state.
“Hey, s/o? D-do you want to talk about it?”
All you could manage was a small nod.
Teruteru sat next to you. He made you lay your head down on his lap as he calmly stoked your hair. Commanding you to take deep a deep breath, he let you start.
You told him all of what happened. The pain of where it started, how it hurt being manipulated, everything you though while the relationship happened.
The only emotions Teruteru felt in those moments were rage and sorrow. The rage was for you ex. He hated them and how they would ever use and hurt someone as amazing and beautiful as you. The sorrow, well the sorrow was for the pain you were going through. He wish he could take it all away, he wishes he can comfort you in this pain you’re feeling.
“S/o…. Sweetie, I am so so sorry all of this happened. If that hick thinks they can ever come near ya’ again oh it won’ be pretty thas fo’sure.”
His accent slipped through, showing the anger he held for the wrongdoings of the person who hurt you. Oh Teruteru was so mad, but he would try to tone it down to comfort you.
Reaching his hand to wipe off some of our tears he manages a gentle smile.
“Don’t cha’ ever worry ‘bout someone like that again ‘k sweets? For now, I’ll be here to comfort ya’. I’ll be by your side and offer a shoulda’ to lean on, it’s ‘cause I love ya’, It pains me to see you hurtin’ I wish I could give ya all my love and make you feel better.”
A comfortable silence fell over the two of you. You took a moment to take in his words. When you did, you felt a nice wave of comfort wash over you.
“Teru- did you….. did you just confess to me?”
“… I suppose I just did, didn’t I?”
He brushed his hand over your cheek and gave you another loving smile. He always loves the fact you were in his life, might as well take this moment to ask the question.
“Will you be mine, s/o?”
Those words brought tears to your eyes once again, but this time for a different reason. This time it was knowing you had someone who would truly love you back.
“Teruteru, I would love that.”
Ryoma Hoshi
It was the fact he hadn’t heard from you that day that led him to your door. Hearing sniffles and the faint whimpers of someone crying that made him knock on the door.
“Hey Kid, you alright in there? Mind if I come in?”
Your door was unlocked already but he wanted to ask just to give you a warning of his arrival. His eyes trailed up to your tearful ones. Seeing you like this made something in him click. He didn’t know what was going on but all he knew was he wanted to comfort you.
“S/o are you alrig- would you like to talk about it?”
He walks to you and sits right next to you. Taking your hand in his he gives you a knowing look.
“Go ahead, I’m right here for you.”
You both talked for awhile. You told him the things you went through and he scolded himself mentally for not helping you before hand. He wishes he would of gotten here sooner to help but he’s glad he is here now.
He starts to draw circles on your back in an effort to calm you down. He stops once you look at him, he takes his free hand and wipes away any tears and/or makeup that held its place on your face.
“Do you need some water? I can also go get some food and give you a few moments alone if you need that.”
“I don’t want to be alone right now… can you stay here, please.”
You voice was barely above a whisper. Ryoma understood and just took in a deep breath.
“I’m here for you when ever you need it s/o. It hurts me to see you in pain, more then I’d like to admit. Maybe it’s because I have strong feelings for you, or maybe it’s because you are the one who’s given me a purpose again. Which ever one it is, I don’t want to see you hurting. Is there anyway I can help?”
“Stay by my side for a little longer please..”
You leaned over to open your water bottle and sip from it. Ryoma moved over to where he was hugging you. It was a comforting embrace.
“… Did you just say you like me, Ryoma?”
“Well, I guess I did. I may still have a long ways to go but what do you think? Are you willing to be with me as well?”
In that moment you felt a wave of relief wash over you. Someone you’ve known, someone you trust and most of all someone you know who will love you. They’re right in front of you. It was a lovely feeling.
“I would love to, ryoma.”
Hifumi Yamada
Hifumi had just finished a story, he always had you proof read it, or give him feed back. He usually brought snacks with him as well, just in case if you were hungry! Today you were late coming to his dorm to read it, maybe you haven’t gotten the text yet? That still didn’t ease his nerves. Deciding he should go ahead and go to your room, he brought the snacks with him.
When he arrive he was met with the sound of muffled sobs and a pain in his heart.
‘Ghk- what is this horrible feeling! First I must check up on Mx. S/o!”
Knocking gently on the door he announced his presence. You let him in, the tears running down your face were noticeable.
The writer felt horrible. He had never seen you in this state and he never wanted to again. Seeing someone you love in pain is hard to bare.
“Mx. S/o?! Please, it is my duty to make sure you are alright. I will lend my ears and listen to your troubles!”
Giving a small nod you both sit down on your bed. Hifumi looks really concentrated as you speak. It’s as if he’s analyzing every small detail.
You tell him the hardships that had happened. The pain and the feeling of everything that had made you feel bad. His eyes scanned over your own. The subtle brush of his hand to your cheek was a feeling you welcomed as you melted into the contact.
“Mx. S/o, it seems this pain is almost far greater then my understanding. I will try my best to make sure you are comforted.”
Handing you the snacks he brought, he put down some water for you as well. The two of you decided to watch a new episode of the show you started. At the end of the episode Hifumi looked down at you, you were laying in his lap.
“I think I’ve concluded what that feeling was!”
You only gave him a confused look. He continued on,
“Earlier, right before coming in to comfort you I felt a pain in my chest. It was my heart aching because I knew you were hurting. I think- no! I know I’m in love with you! You are far greater then 2D. S/o, please be mine.”
You interlocked your hands with his. The nervous look he gave you was adorable.
“Of course I will Hifumi. Why wouldn’t I want to be with such an amazing guy like you?”
The smile that slowly creeped up on his face made you feel better. It felt nice, you had someone to be with. Someone who would finally treat you in the way you deserve.

“Spencer, look!” Lucas alerted his twin once he heard the knock. “There’s someone outside.”
Spencer got up to the window curiously and looked outside, seeing Tom covered head to toe in snow.
“It’s a monster.” Spencer shrieked as he ducked down from the window.
“It is not a monster.” Lucas rolled his eyes before looking out the window again. “Oh my God.”
“What?” Spencer asked, jumping up next to his twin to look out the window.
“Its a monster.” Lucas gasped. The boys scrambled to the door and flung it open, gasping in unison at the sight of a snow covered Tom.
“Hi. I’m-“
Are you the abdominal snowman?” Lucas asked as he let Tom in the door.
“No, I’m T-“
“Daisy!” Spencer cut him off with a shout. “Come in here!”
“Is there an adult I can speak to?” Tom asked the child as a little girl came into the room.
“Whats going on?” Daisy asked before her eyes landed on Tom. “Woah, is that an abdominal snowman?”
“Yea!” Spencer nodded. “He came right to our door.”
“I saw him out in the snow.” Lucas said proudly.
“Hey kids.” Tom spoke again. “Sorry to bother you, but I really need to talk to an adult. Are your parents home?”
“Did you come from the North Pole?” Spencer asked.
“No, Spencer.” Daisy rolled her eyes. “The abdominal snowman lives in Alaska.”
“I think he lives in Florida.” Lucas added.
“It’s actually abominable and I’m from Europe.” Tom cut in.
“Do you have magic powers?” Lucas asked.
“Yeah. I can use a phone really well. Do you want to see?” Tom tried to bait them into letting him use the phone.
“Wait!” Spencer gasped.
“What?” Daisy asked.
“Stranger danger.” Spencer realized. “We let a stranger into the house.”
“Oh no.” Lucas whined. “My parents are gonna be mad at me.”
“Mine too.” Daisy feared. “We can’t tell them.”
“Get Y/n.” Lucas instructed. “She’ll know what to do.”
“Okay.” Spencer ran out of the room, leaving Tom with the other two kids.
“Is Y/n your age?” Tom asked the children, hoping he wouldn’t have to deal with another child.
“No. Shes my cousin.” Daisy answered. “I think she’s 40. Shes really pretty though.”
“He’s right in here. He doesn’t look like the one in the movie.” Tom heard Spencer’s voice coming back. He came into the room with you, your one hand holding his and your other over your eyes.
“Okay. Can I open my eyes now?” You asked your brother.
“Uh huh.” Spencer said, and you slowly opened your eyes and removed your hand. Tom finally got a good look at you and felt all the air leave his chest.
“Uh, hi.” Tom waved awkwardly at you, taken aback by the beautiful stranger who let him on their house. You, on the other hand, were thinking something entirely different.
“AHHHHH.” You screamed and grabbed the children. “Intruder!”
“Woah woah woah.” Tom tried to calm you down. “The kids let me in.”
“Did you hurt them? Are you guys okay?” You asked as you inspected the children.
“We’re okay.” Lucas nodded, making you kiss his forehead out of relief. You picked Daisy up with one arm and held the boys close to you with your other as you backed away from Tom.
“Who are you and why are you in my house?” You demanded.
“My name is Tom.” Tom started slowly. “I’m so sorry to bother you but my car has broken down and I can’t get any service. Would you mind letting me use your phone?”
“My whole family is inside.” You told him. “Can you give me some sort of proof that you’re not chop us up and turn us into soup?”
“What kind of proof do you need?” Tom chuckled softly.
“Can you take me out to your car to show me that it’s broken down?”
“It’s really cold out here and I parked pretty far. It’s not safe for you to walk all the way out there.” Tom warned you.
“How far did you walk?” You asked, suddenly noticing how tired he looked.
“I’m not sure. You can’t see anything out there.” He shrugged. You chewed your lip and looked down at your siblings and cousin before making a decision.
“Kids, go inside and help grandma with the cooking.” You instructed. “Tell her I said you could have one piece of candy each.”
“Are we in trouble for letting a stranger inside?” Lucas asked fearfully.
“No, honey.” You assured him. “Just don’t do it again, okay? You did the right thing by coming to get me.”
The children smiled in relief before scurrying out of the room, leaving you alone with Tom.
“Empty your coat pockets” You demanded, trying to put on a brave face.
“Okay, but why?” Tom wondered as he took the contents of his pockets out.
“In case you have any weapons.” You said like it was obvious.
“There.” Tom said as he put the last of it on the table. “Pockets are empty.”
You eyed him skeptically before walking up to him and putting his hands in his pockets. You patted him down until you were satisfied.
“Okay. I believe you.” You nodded. “I’m Y/n, by the way.”
“Tom.” He shook your hand. “Are those your kids?”
“No.” You smiled. “Those were my brothers and my niece.”
“They’re cute.” Tom complimented. “They look like you.”
“Well, I have tons more in the living room.” You said proudly. “That’s why I have to keep you in here until I know you won’t hurt anyone.”
“How can I gain your trust?”
“Um, I don’t really know.” You realized. “I’ve never interrogated anyone before.”
“How about this.” Tom offered as he pulled off his hat and scarf, revealing his reddened face. “I’ll take off my stuff so you can see I’m just a regular guy.”
Your body language changed when you saw that he was a handsome guy your age. You blushed a little and looked around the room to gather yourself.
“Your skin is freezing.” You sighed as you touched a warm hand to his cold cheek. “How long have you been out there?”
“A while. I can’t feel anything below my neck.”
“You poor thing.” You sighed and rubbed his arms to warm him up. “Come on, let’s get you warmed up.”
“Wait, what about the interrogation?” Tom wondered.
“You passed. Now come on, before you get frostbite.” You laughed as you took his hand and lead him into your living room where your family was. Tom looked around the room, seeing at least 8 children and a bunch of adults. As soon as they saw you, your cousin Clementine ran into your arms for a hug. You scooped her up and held her on your hip as you addressed your family.
“Everyone, this is Tom.” You put your hand on Toms back. “His car broke down and he needs our help.”
“How cute is he!” Your aunt Linda gushed. “Look at those brown eyes.”
“The eyes? Look at that hair. So healthy.” Your Aunt Mary added.
“Nice to meet you Tom. I’m also Tom.” Your grandfather reached forward to shake Toms hand.
“And I’m Gary.” Your other grandfather shook his hand. “Nice handshake. Strong.”
“Thank you sir.” Tom smiled shyly.
“Ah, Y/n, he’s your age.” Your grandmother gasped. “What a cute couple you’d make.”
“Do you want to see my train set?” Your brother Charlie tugged on Toms hand. “I built it myself.”
“I helped.” Your youngest brother, George, told him. “I put the tracks together.”
“I’d love to see it.” Tom smiled at him.
“Can we get you something to eat?” Your uncle Jason asked Tom. “You must be starving.”
“How about a drink? Do you like hot chocolate? I just made some.” Aunt Linda offered.
“Have a seat, dear.” Your mom led Tom to a chair. “You must have been walking for miles.”
“A friend of mine owns the best auto shop in town. I’ll give him a call for you to see about your car.” Your uncle Richard said as he went to get the house phone.
“Thank you, sir. I greatly appreciate that.” Tom nodded in appreciation.
“Did you hear that?” Your mom gasped. “Manners.”
“And that accent.” Aunt Mary winked. “Oh, Y/n, he’s perfect for you.”
“Aunt Mary.” You glared at her. “We just met.”
“Oh, you must be freezing. I’ll get you a sweater.” Your other grandmother moved towards the closet.
“Make Y/n get it.” Your grandma waved her hand in dismissal. “You need to focus on the food.”
“Y/n, would you take Tom to get a fresh set of clothes? He’ll catch his death in this weather.” Your mother asked you.
“Please, don’t let me put you to any trouble.” Tom tried to stop them from going to great lengths for him.
“Nonsense. You’re our guest.” Your mother smiled at him.
“Follow me.” You put Clementine down and took Toms hand, leading him to one of the bedrooms.
“You have such a big family.” Tom commented as you reached the room.
“I know.” You smiled proudly as you got clothes out of the closet. “Every holiday is a huge celebration. It’s the only time we all get to be together.”
“That’s really great that you’re all so close.” Tom smiled as he looked at the family pictures hanging on the wall.
“Yeah. I wouldn’t trade them for anything. Here.” You handed him clothes. “You can put on anything you find and leave your wet clothes in the bathroom.”
You went to leave the room but Tom grabbed your arm.
“Y/n?” Tom asked.
“Yes, Tom?”
“Thank you. I really appreciate you letting me in.” Tom smiled warmly.
“And I really appreciate you not chopping my family up and turning us into soup.” You smiled back before leaving the room. You waited a few minutes before coming back in once you assumed Tom was finished changing.
“I found some more sweaters if none of those...” You trailed off when you saw what Tom was wearing.
“What?” Tom asked in confusion as he looked down at the sweater.
“That’s my dads sweater. I haven’t seen it in years.” You smiled softly as you ran your fingers down the material of the sweater.
“It’s so soft.” Tom chuckled as he felt it as well. “He doesn’t wear it anymore?”
“No. He um, he passed away a few years ago.” You admitted, keeping your eyes down.
“Oh, I’m so sorry. I can take it off.” Tom immediately went to remove it.
“No, it’s okay.” You stopped him. “It suits you.”
“Tom! Y/n!” Your aunt Linda called from the living room. “Hot chocolate is ready!”
“Come on.” You took his hand. “My aunt makes really good hot chocolate. You’ll love it.”
Tom blushed behind your back as you lead him to the kitchen, feeling intimidated when he saw your entire family sitting down.
“There you two are.” Your mother smiled. “We were just sitting down to eat.”
“You can sit next to me.” You pulled Tom to two empty seats. He pulled your chair out for you, making you smile.
“I wanna sit with Tom.” Daisy whined.
“No, I do.” George pouted.
“You can sit across from me.” Tom told George. “And I’ll sit in the middle of Y/n and Daisy.”
“I called the auto shop.” Your uncle told Tom. “They can’t send anybody out here until the morning. Hope you don’t spending the night here.”
“Oh, don’t worry about it.” Tom shook his head. “I’m sure I’ll find a hotel around here.”
“Nonsense. You’ll never make it to a hotel. Plus, we have a perfectly good bed right here.” Your grandpa insisted.
“I don’t want to put you to too much trouble.” Tom told your family. “You’ve already done so much for me.”
“It’s no trouble at all. We’re happy to have you here.” Your other grandpa said.
“Hot chocolate, for you.” Aunt Linda placed two mugs down in front of you and Tom.
“Would you like some potatoes?” Aunt Mary passed him the bowl.
“How about some greens? I put a little brown sugar on them to make them taste good.” Aunt Linda put some on Toms plate.
“You have to try this. It’s my special recipe.” Your grandma put a baked zucchini next to the green beans.
“My wife makes the best stuffing.” Uncle Gary chuckled as he put some on Toms plate. “You’ll want to take some before the kids get it all.”
“Ooo. Make sure you get some cranberry sauce.” Your mother filled the last empty spot on Toms dish.
“Thank you. All of you. I really appreciate your kindness.” Tom smiled fondly at the table, his heart warming with gratitude.
“It’s the holiday season. Kindness is the most important gift you can give.” Your grandpa declared.
“Tom, do you want to play dolls with me after dinner?” Your cousin Ivy asked.
“No, he has to see my train set first.” Charlie spoke up.
“We could put the dolls on the train.” Tom suggested, making all the children grin.
“Did you hear that? He’s a genius.” Lucas said to Spencer.
“How long is Tom gonna stay with us?” Ivy asked her mom.
“Can he stay in my room tonight? I have stars on my ceiling.” Lucas told Tom.
“That sounds really cool, Lucas.” Tom nodded. “You’ll have to show me.”
“Are you and Y/n gonna get married?” Clementine wondered out loud, making you slap your hand to your forehead while Tom laughed.
“We just met, Clementine.” You said shyly as you pushed your food around your plate.
“Do you like pie Tom?” Aunt Linda piped up. “I made apple and cherry.”
“And I made pumpkin.” You leaned towards him to tell him.
“I like pumpkin.” Tom smiled at you, leaning in as well.
“Me too.” You giggled as you bumped shoulders with him.
“Oh look!” Aunt Mary gasped. “You two are under the mistletoe.”
You and Tom looked up and sure enough, a bustle of mistletoe was hanging above your heads. Toms face immediately flushed as he looked at you, but you were busy giving an unamused look to your family.
“Wow.” You said sarcastically. “It’s almost like someone hung mistletoe over the only two empty seats at the table.”
“Maybe it was a coincidence.” Tom squeaked.
“Uh Uh.” You shook your head. “This was no coincidence. My family did this on purpose.”
You punctuated your sentence by standing up and taking the mistletoe down, making your family roll their eyes and huff.
“We’re not gonna kiss.” You declared as you set the mistletoe down on the table. “Not like this.”
Tom perked up at your words, but appeared to be the only one that heard it. He looked around the table for witnesses, but found that your family had given up and started eating. Out of the corner of his eye, he watched you slip the mistletoe into your cardigan pocket. Tom eyes you curiously but didn’t say anything as he began to eat his food.
After dinner, Tom helped you clear the table while the kids ran off to play. You couldn’t help but smile at him as he stood next to your grandmother, drying the dishes as she washed them.
“Look at him.” Your grandmother gawked. “He’s helping me wash the dishes.”
“Y/n, if you don’t marry him, I will.” Your mom clicked her tongue, making you roll your eyes.
“Stop it.” You scolded. “No one here marrying him. We don’t even know if he’s single.”
“Well, Tom, are you seeing anyone?” Aunt Mary asked him as she put the dishes away.
“I’m not, no.” Tom answered as he kept his eyes on you. You gave him a coy smile before looking away.
“Then when are you taking Y/n on a date?” Aunt Linda asked, making you gasp.”
“Aunt Linda!” You exclaimed. “That’s enough. Nothings gonna happen between us if you’re all poking around in our business. We’re leaving. Come on, Tom.”
Tom gave an apologetic look to your family as he followed you out of the room. You took his hand and brought him to one of the rooms, presumably the one you were staying in.
“Sorry about that.” You sighed as you shut the door behind you. “They’re always trying to set me up.”
“Has it ever worked before?” Tom asked, a hint of jealousy in his words.
“I don’t know.” You shrugged and flicked your eyes to the ceiling. “You tell me.”
Tom followed your eyes and looked up as well, smiling a little when he saw mistletoe badly taped above your heads.
“Hm.” Tom played coy. “Now, where did that come from?”
“I took it from the dining room.” You laughed. “It’d be a shame to go to waste.”
“You know what?” Tom smirked as he hooked his pinky under your chin, tilting your lips closer to his. “I was thinking the same thing.”

Hai! I have another request ( if it's okay ) can you do a donna x fem pirate reader where Donna is just wondering around with Angie when she found a portal to another dimension that leads to a beach where the reader's ship is alongside the shore then they went to inspect it but ended up being caught by the crew and brought her to the captain of the ship ( which is the reader )
Donna Beneviento X F!Reader
Quick talk, this will be in two parts. I missed some of your idea to keep for the next part because I had ended up getting caught in writing this that I completely forgot to check through the request again. My deepest apologise for that but I promise to have the next part up soon.
Part 2- https://saturatedboy.tumblr.com/post/657437883445166080/donna-beneviento-x-fempiratereader
Requests: Open
Words: 3k
The fragrance of sugar and chocolate had diffused around the small room. Sat back in her chair was none other that Lady Beneviento, Donna. Brining the china cup up to her slightly chapped lips, she sipped the Earl Grey tea and sighed in delight as the steaming liquid ran down into her stomach system. Gently placing her cup down, she looked to the other side of the small round table that was surrounded by nature's plants. At the other end was Angie, the doll, chewing down on some Victorian sponge cake. Donna raised her dainty hand to her lips to hide the small smile that had sketched itself onto her face. Keeping her lips pursed together, she held in the chuckle that threatened to escape from Angie having some icing around her mouth. Pushing the chair out, the metal scraping amongst the wooden floor, Donna had raised herself out from her chair and walked over to Angie, picking up a napkin that was settled in the middle of the table.
Making her way towards Angie, she took the doll's head within her hand and dapped at the white smooth icing that had coated her mouth. "I know you can't feel but please do try to be careful when eating." Donna spoke softly, folding the used napkin up and placing it next to Angie's now finished plate.
"Yeah yeah, I know. But now we have had our afternoon tea, I think it's time for an adventure!" Gliding up from her own chair this time, which was stacked with books so Angie could reach the table when sat, the doll had grabbed it's toymakers hand and whooshed out through the many corridors.
"Angie, I wasn't finished with my drink," The whine came from Donna's mouth, her veil flying behind her unmasked face as she tried her best to keep up with her doll's quick speed when flying. Angie however completely ignore the cries of Donna and dragged her to he front of the manor by the cloak rack. A stern look had edged its way onto Donna's features as she was still upset about her tea going cold.
"I will make you more after a walk in the woods!" Angie swirled herself around the cloak rack and grabbed a black cloak for Donna to ear. Twirling herself around Donna, Angie placed the cloak on and tied the front into a bow. "There now lets go!" Donna shook her head slowly and flipped her veil over her face, only to follow Angie out of the manor, still wishing she could of finished her cup of tea.
"10 green bottles on a wall...10 GREEN BOTTLES ON A WALL!" Donna mentally screamed in her head as she listened to Angie scream. Although her behaviour would be accepted in the manor, Donna was very against of any attention outside her territory, which to her was mostly the manor.
"Angie, please keep it down a little," She whispered, closing her eyes as she followed the familiar path through her woods. Angie groaned loudly and dropped her arms to place weight onto her float. She let her eyes turns about as she started to spin in the air to give herself entertainment since she wasn't allowed to be loud.
"Spinning I am, spinning indeed." Angie talked to herself as she continued spinning, completely unaware of Donna having her eyes closed behind her veil as she herself was subconsciously following Angie's voice. As Angie was spinning, being unaware of her surroundings, she came connected to a rather large tree that had branches sprouting far and wide. "OW!" She screeched, altering Donna of the sudden pain. Donna opened her eyes and hurried towards Angie who was now sat on the dirt floor looking up at what she knocked into. "WOAH!" She cried out as she was back up floating around the large trunk. "When were you going to tell me you have a huge tree!?" She questioned Donna, circling around the trunk once and gliding towards Donna to settle onto her shoulder.
"I...didn't." Much just like Angie, Donna was also curious about the tree. She knew her territory like the back of her hand and she was more than sure that this tree had just came out of nowhere. Kneeling down onto the slightly soggy dirt, she inspected the large roots that were coted in a slimy orange substance. Dragging a finger through the slime, she fiddled with it between her index and thumb. "How strange, I haven't seen anything like this before."
"Oooooo maybe it's magic!" Angie threw her hands wide, her head doing a full 360 as she wriggled herself about on Donna's shoulder. Donna wiped the substance off her fingers onto the ground, pulling herself back onto her feet as she stared through her black veil at the now growing orange. "Erm Donna, what did you do?" Angie asked, watching as the orange had sprouted its way higher up the tree from the roots, to the trunk and so on, accompanied by a slight rumbling erupting from what sounded like inside the trunk.
"I have no idea Angie!" Shielding herself and Angie with her hands by crouching and hugging Angie close, Donna closed her eyes as the orange glow grew lighter and brighter in colour, changing into a warm white. She felt her body became much warmer as her head began to spin. Not knowing what was going on, she felt the faint touch of breeze brushing through her cloak. Letting herself fall onto her side, Angie still in grasp, Donna curled around and let whatever was going on to happen.
"-off mine. Go scrub the lower decks Decker."
"And why should I! I was only takin' a look!" Donna groaned as she felt the sudden feel of sickness wash over her body. She curled tighter as she felt like her body was swaying side to side. Trying to pride her eye open, she was met with the once darkness she had remember seeing from when she was first experimented on with the Cadou. A deep feeling of fear washed over her
"Because I'm the captain and you don't want to make the Captain angry now do ya boy?" Donna's fear increased at the sound of the voice. It was dripping in venom and threats that even she felt frightened of. The voice wasn't familiar either and the accent was one she hadn't heard before, Donna could've swore she knew everyone from the village, even the small children that had wished to see her to make flowers crowns with her when the festivals would be around.
"No ma'am-"
"Captain Decker. I am your Captain. Now off ye go boy before I get Slasher on ya. Beat it." The noise of heavy footprints had sped past Donna's head as she kept still, trying to keep her breathing to a minable. As far as she was now aware, whoever this captain was should be the only person left with her- wait no. Angie....where was Angie? More heavy footprints has walked past her head but whoever this pair has stopped right next to her head. Donna kept still on her side, not daring to even open her eyes in fear her veil may not be covering her face.
Silence was between all of them.
...
"I know you're awake~" The same voice, the Captain's voice this time was right above her ear making Donna squirm under the heat that came from the mouth. Shaking in anticipation, Donna shot her upper body up and pulled her knees to her chest, feeling small against the new person she has came in contact with. Looking up and keeping her eyes wide, she was in complete utter shock. In front of her stood a rather tall woman. Above average height she would compare her height to. Her hair was knotted, having a large Tricorn hat with a white feather place amongst the small nest of hair. A wide grin with small sharp teeth was scarred on the face of the female. She stood tall, a sword hanging from her hip with a long tail coat in white covered her body mostly with the front being open wide. Underneath the tail coat was a white waist coat, hugging the figure perfectly. White tights were worn with brown boots that reached the knee area. Donna's mind flicked to one word and one word only,
Pirate. Just like in the many stories she had read to Angie in the past. In front of her was a pirate, and a good looking one too in her eye. "Say there lassie, ye a long way from home ain't ya?" She spoke loudly, a chuckle rumbling her chest as she stared down at Donna. Donna was beyond speechless, did she transport world? Pirates were made up stories, they belonged in a book but the tree....the tree.
"Donnaaaaaaa," A satisfied sigh left Donna's mouth as she heard the familiar voice of her partner in crime. Looking around her space trying to find where she was, Donna saw blue the surrounded the scratch wood she was on. Looking back at the female pirate, she saw behind her an upper deck that had led to a steering wheel with a large male behind it with a pipe in his mouth. Looking behind herself, Donna saw the bow of what she now knew to be a ship. A sudden grip wrapped itself around Donna's back, a giggle escaping from whoever it was. "Donna we can be pirates! Oh this is a wonderful adventure!" Angie screamed out, squeezing herself under Donna's left arm to hug her from the front instead. Beneviento looked down at Angie, who now had a small hat on top of her grey veil.
"Angie, oh Angie." Donna huffed out as she hugged her doll close, being glad she was safe and not a single scratch on her.
"Gotta say, she's quite the hyper character ain't she. Pretty tough when up against Slasher as well. My mutt was gonna take a swig at 'er head there" Donna glared at the female pirate, feeling invaded and insulted that she would call Angie out on her character so easily like that.
"And you're just a...just a..." Donna threw her head to look back at Angie failing to come up with an insult to fend Angie's honour.
"Don't mind her, she's just head over heels for cute girls like yourself," Donna flicked Angie's head at her sudden words. Donna was sure she wasn't interested in fictional characters. Donna preferred to be clean, not like a pirate who would stay in the dirt and drink beer till they pass out inly to want a 'good time' when it was for their own personal needs. The thought of even dating a pirate sent shivers up her spine.
"I ain't no cute girl, I prefer the words dare devil or even maybe sexy~" The female flirted back, staring directly at Donna. Donna let go of Angie and stood up, her shy demeanour was long gone. She crossed her arms over her chest and threw her veil up not daring to take such immature behaviour from the other. The other had gasped, but not in shock but rather like she had just found treasure.
"Sexy isn't a word to describe such yourself- gosh I don't even know your name."
The pirate smirked, leaning their arm on the grip of their word as she lightly leaned back on her knee. She licked her teeth and smiled peevishly. "The name's (Y/n), however on the sea 'ere the name's Captain Silver-ring." Donna grimaced at the sudden outtake of the 'Captain Silver-ring's hand. She softly knocked it away from herself with her own hand and tutted, Angie watching from the side lines next to a rather buff dog which had seated itself on top of a barrel.
"I prefer it if you didn't touch me (Y/n). Contact by others isn't something I'm much used to." The quick explanation from Donna had created a head tilt from the Captain. She way beyond confused, what was a lassie doing dressed in full black even doing on her boat. Everyone in the area knew that contact was the only quick way to gain any booty, either by stealing or by taking- totally not the same.
The captain slowly nodded her head, a finger drumming on her cheek. "Okay, so ye on my boat with no thoughts of getting any of me treasure? Who are you working for? The Wooden Boot? Maybe you're a stealer for the Crow's Eye. I always knew she would try take me booty." Angie laughed out-loud drawing the attention of all the sailors on board the ship, even Donna.
"She said booty!" Donna covered her eyes slightly, feeling embarrassed. Her she was, a new world with new people and she may end up dying here. Great...just great.
"So if ye not 'ere to steal me booty, why are you 'ere then?" (Y/n) asked suspiciously as she then began to circle Donna, making her feel smaller than ever. Under the intense glare that (Y/n) gave out, Donna could only whimper slightly until the same light headed feeling came back to her just like before she came to be transported here.
"I don't know, I just somehow got here." Donna mumbled, letting herself drop to her knees with her head hung down. (Y/n) waited and stared at Donna, only getting bright eyes when she signalled everyone off top deck. Hurried feet ran down below, leaving just the captain, Donna, Angie and Slasher on top as night began to roll in.
"I never got ye name," (Y/n) said, kneeling down but keeping distance away from Donna after remembering she didn't like contact.
"I'm lady Beneviento-"
"A LADY! Oh my gosh, Where are my manners." Donna raised a brow as she lifted her head, it swirling around a bit, and watched as (Y/n) bowed.
"My Lady Beneviento-" A quiet gasp came from Donna's mouth. Never in her life was she ever called by 'my'- it was oddly comforting. "-I am Captain Silver-Ring, name belonged to me mother who used to be the greatest pirate of all times. I am in her place as Captain of the white vessel, I strive to find the treasure she never found."
Angie began to bounce up and down, the sudden energy that surrounded them all made her giddy- especially the loudness of (Y/n)'s voice. "An what is that treasure?!" Angie asked excitedly, seemingly slightly affected by the same feeling of Donna with the light headedness as she would use her hands to steady herself straight.
"Well, it's simple- kinda." Donna waited for an answer, her vision slightly blurring as she looked up at the Captain who was now on two feet. Swinging her sword out, she raised it high as the sunset light had bounced off the silver blade. "And that is to find the perfect woman to be with forever!"
Just like she was hit with cupid's arrow, Donna fell suddenly to the ground and felt the same sickness run over her body. She dropped in temperature as she held tightly onto the cloak that covered her body. Closing her eye, she sucked her lips in and bit on them to keep her mouth shut. She didn't feel like throwing up t the moment, gosh no but the burning sensation building up in her stomach would want to beg her to.
Voices rang about in her mind as she curled once again. Letting ridged breaths out through her nose, she no longer smelt the salt that had clogged her nose when she was on that ship. Instead a smell of pine and mud filled her senses. Staying laying down, Donna waited until she felt like she could move and not throw up. Expecting when she opened her eye to be faced with the cocky smirk of the pirate, she was surprised to find Angie- without a pirate hat- looking down at her. "Looks like we are back home." She said, letting herself glide up into the air.
Donna closed her eye and re-opened it. Indeed this was her home. The smell of the mud was familiar to know. Pushing herself up, light headed still evidence within her mind, she watched as Angie looked behind her. "Ya know, that was quiet the adventure. I think we should do it again tomorrow!" Angie exclaimed as she pointed at something. Following her finger, Donna looked behind herself to realise the tree that had gotten themselves into that mess was still there.
"I think I'll skip." Donna said, letting herself lay in the mud. Angie hovered right over Donna, looking down at her with a smirk.
"Too afraid to face Captain Silver-ring?" She teased, wagging her finger at Donna making fake kissing noises. Donna scrunched up mud in her hand and threw it at Angie who laughed in returned. With slightly rosy cheeks, Donna protested against the idea of seeing the Captain again. "Okay okay...maybe I'll show Lady Dimitrescu the tree! ooo I bet (Y/n) would love her. A lady who loves danger, how perfect their match would be."
For unknown reasons to herself, Donna couldn't help but scoff at the name of Dimitrescu. "You know what, I will go back tomorrow. Not like we have much to do anyway," Donna dragged out, her scowl still on her face. She wouldn't let Dimitrescu see her, oh no. She wouldn't allow it.
She found Captain Silver-Ring first, she shall be the one to see her again. "Is this you saying you love her~"
"Angie love is a strong word, one I'm sure Pirates don't use. I'm only going to gather more information- who knows maybe mother would like this tree." Donna bit her lip after her sentence. "Or- we just keep this tree to ourselves and leave it like that?" She questioned mostly herself but either way, Angie replied with a grin.
"Maybe we could help her find a lover and we could ask for information in return to give to Mother Miranda!"
"Yeah....lets do..that." As Angie floated away back to the Manor clearly excited for the next day, Donna stayed laid in the mud questioning herself. A sudden flash back of the Captain's grin came into her mind making her hit her cheeks. "No no Donna, you are a Lady. She is a Pirate. A really...really- awkwardly nice pirate." Closing her eye, Donna laid there silently enjoying the look of the Pirate in her mind on repeat. How weird- she was enjoying remembering the new Captain. A new world.
Her now favourite adventure.

recently rediscovered your blog and read the fic from your dad spy au where scout starts out as the "guard" and then becomes scout from there and lemme tell you that shit put me on some s-tier brainrot. like a cranial decay type beat.
i had a concept in my head that instead of being hired as a guard, he could have been hired as a right hand man to the administrator like pauling, because i think hed be awesome in that position. like imagine having a personal merc who can get in fast and out even faster. but maybe he would stay in the base like the rest of them, sort of like a secret on call intel gatherer, who also maybe sometimes has to dig a couple graves. and also like, nobody on the team expects anything from him at first because its this 20 year old newbie kid. hes dressed in his formal clothes and he talks like somebody from relatively around boston but not quite. i can just imagine one day he comes back during a team dinner with his shirt half untucked and stained with blood, hair disheveled as he asks soldier if he can borrow his shovel, or him debriefing them for a mission when miss pauling is busy. same vibe as the fic i mentioned before but scout gets to have a job as cool as miss paulings. honestly id write it myself if i didnt have the attention span of a fly
anyways your scout content gives me life thank you
scout teamfortress but 20% more competent standing next to miss pauling teamfortress while she's doing her job and doing like silly quips and otherwise contributing nothing like it's a buddy cop film is literally my fucking ideal
(warnings for some canon-typical violence)

“Oh, Pauling, it’s good to see you again,” greeted the chairman, smiling in an imitation of a grandfather and clasping her hands perhaps too-kindly considering she barely knew him. “Young as ever, and still so stylish, I see. And who’s the new fellow?”
“He’s just here to help with transport, Mr. Montgomery, nothing unusual,” Miss Pauling replied, returning his smile and adjusting her glasses. “Heavy cases, you know how it is.”
“Of course, I remember you almost toppling clean over last time we made a trade!” Montgomery agreed, frowning at the memory. “You’ll pull a muscle that way, better to be careful. It’s a pleasure to meet you, young man. And your name?”
“Mr. Normandy, sir,” the new kid replied easily enough despite his slight East Coast accent, giving the man a firm handshake, expression neutral and stony, the picture of professionalism. Internally, Pauling breathed a sigh of relief.
“Firm grip there, young man,” Montgomery praised, nodding approvingly. “Tennis player, perhaps? Or golf?”
“Baseball, sir,” he replied, still evenly. “First baseman.”
“Ah! Of course! Were you any good?” Montgomery joked.
“At everything but playing in front of the crowds, otherwise I’d be in the major leagues,” he replied, tilting his head just slightly to imply that he was joking, his sunglasses glinting at the movement, and Montgomery barked a laugh.
“I like this one, Miss Pauling!” Montgomery said, and Pauling just barely caught herself from physically relaxing at it.
“We do too, Mr. Montgomery,” she agreed. “I was under the impression that you’re very busy today, so we won’t keep you for too long, we just wanted to sort out the final details surrounding the manufacturing rights for the—“
“—Pacific Northwest branch, up into British Columbia and Alberta, of course,” Montgomery agreed, nodding faintly. “Of course, of course.” He turned to regard his own man in a dark suit, the one standing to the right, who appeared to be unsuccessfully trying to stare down Normandy, who was completely ignoring him. “My briefcase, please.”
The man handed over the briefcase, and Montgomery put it on his desk, opening it and pulling out a sheaf of papers. “All our requests are submitted and approved, at this point we just had a few dustbins to take care of regarding initial percentages and making sure everything is wired to the correct accounts, which names are undisclosed, things like that,” Pauling explained as he glanced through the papers.
“Right, right, everything looks good here,” the man murmured, nodding to himself, sending his long-white hair just ever-so-slightly out of place. “I’m assuming these more sensitive documents should be sent some way besides through the mail?”
“If you finish them today I can take them with me, otherwise either me or Mr. Normandy can return to pick them up at your convenience,” she replied, to which Normandy gave a singular nod.
“Oh, it would only take me a short while,” Montgomery said, waving a hand. “We have a lovely lounge just down the hall from here if you’d prefer to wait there, it should only take me ten, fifteen minutes at most. In the meantime, I do believe there’s also the manner of payment for services rendered.”
Miss Pauling tilted her head just slightly to one side, confused.
“I arranged with Helen already,” Montgomery explained, not looking up from where he was initialing a few things. “The payment, rather than being wired, she asked to be made in material investment. A venture of mine from years ago that she’s willing to sit on. Rather than gold or bonds, she agreed to take some old currency of mine that my family collected, from early 18th century New Zealand and Australia. Monetarily it’s worth around the same, and I’m quite a bit attached to it to be entirely frank, but it was at her request to buy the whole collection from me, and after years of the work we’ve been doing together, well, I’d never trust it with anyone else.”
He gestured to the other man, the one on his left, who stepped forward to hand him a manila envelope, which he passed to Pauling.
“Inside is both keys, the door alarm codes, and all other security information for the building where the collection is being stored. They’ll ask for a few codes and confirmation of identity, only because several other art collections and artifacts are being stored there by other affluent individuals such as myself.”
“Thank you, Mr. Montgomery,” Pauling said, taking the envelope gratefully.
“Think nothing of it, my dear. Helen talked me into it all her own,” he said easily enough. “Now, gentlemen, if you would let Miss Pauling and Mr. Normandy into our lounge? I should have these wrapped up before any of us can even think about lunch, eh?”
One of the suits showed the two of them through the doors and down the hallway, through two doors bracketed by similar suits who simply nodded politely at Pauling and ticked their chins at Normandy as they passed them.
Normandy posted up beside the door for all of three seconds before they shut and Pauling pulled her glasses up, rubbing at the bridge of her nose and making a vaguely distressed noise. He then promptly relaxed, instead leaning his hip against an armchair probably worth the same amount as a small car. “So, uh, we’re glad that he’s giving us a bunch of commemorative coins from when dinosaurs still walked the earth?” he asked just below normal speaking volume, eyebrows raised.
“Yes. Very glad. Because unlike about six people total on the planet, he hasn’t figured out yet how valuable those are.”
“What, is a picture of a kangaroo on some copper really gonna make up for a couple hundred thousand American dollars?” Normandy asked, sounding doubtful.
“Not copper. Something else,” she replied. “I can’t tell you much more about it other than that, but these coins are made of something priceless to us. And to the Administrator.”
“…Love? Memories? The magic of family?” he joked, cracking a smile, and she rolled her eyes, moving to open the envelope and start reading the papers inside. “Hey, uh, not to question whether my job should exist, but what the hell am I doing here, exactly? Besides carrying a briefcase. Like, chivalry isn’t dead but I really don’t think you need me carrying your bags and holding the door for you.”
“You’re helping with security, basically,” she replied, adjusting her glasses to squint at tiny handwriting about the collection. “Mr. Montgomery is trustworthy, but he mostly hires out to… well, people like us. His security detail is mostly people we’d rather have screened, freelancers, stuff like that. A lot of people we contract out to are like that. Most of them have heard about me and know better than to try and pull something, since I can hold my own pretty well, but if they haven’t, seeing a second person might persuade them to think it over again.”
“Oh, so I’m like, uh, when it says ‘tow zone’ next to the no parking signs even though nobody checks, or when they’ve got a camera in the corner of the store that isn’t even plugged into anything,” he said, and the looked up at him, confused. “Like, uh, what’s the word… I’m a casual deterrent.”
“Sure,” she said, because it sounded like he knew what he was talking about, shuffling the papers back away and closing the envelope again, making a note to ask the Administrator if she should change their current containment procedures to be closer to Mr. Montgomery’s. “Just… if there’s a fight, you deal with it, otherwise you just stand there and look like you’re paying attention.”
“That’s what the sunglasses are for,” he agreed. “I was blinking morse code at the guy across from me literally the whole time.”
“You know morse code?” Pauling asked, surprised.
“Just the alphabet, ‘S.O.S.’, and ‘ass’.”
She rolled her eyes again, and that’s when the door opened.
She expected Mr. Montgomery, not one of the men in suits. “Excuse me, both of you, if you don’t mind,”the man said, accent having the slightest English tilt to it, a Londoner if Pauling had to guess. “You’re Miss Pauling, the Mann Co. affiliate, yes?”
“That’s me,” she agreed, hesitant, and glanced at Normandy.
“I’m afraid there’s been a mistake. Mr. Montgomery have you the wrong envelope on accident,” the man said apologetically, extending a hand forward. “We apologize for this unfortunate mix-up, it’s really quite embarrassing, but those documents are sensitive and we’ll be needing to see them back now.”
Pauling looked at him, and within a moment, shifted her expression. “Oh, I’m so sorry!” she agreed, nodding. “No, right, of course. These aren’t the papers for the currency collection?”
“I’m afraid not,” the Brit agreed, head tilting just slightly, hand still extended, moving a fraction further forward.
“Well, thank goodness we figured out now and not with us halfway back,” she joked, and moved to hold the folder closer to her body. “I’ll take this right back to Mr. Montgomery, then.”
“He’s sent me to correct the error,” the man explained simply.
“Right,” she said, and saw in her periphery that Normandy had already started sneaking a hand in towards his primary, clearly having pieced together something she was only suspecting. “We can bring this to his office, then, right down the hall.”
“You misunderstand,” the man said, taking a step forward again. “I’ll be taking it to his office myself.”
“That’s funny,” Pauling said. “I didn’t realize you had clearance to be in there. Or to be carrying a semi-automatic instead of a standard handgun.”
The Brit reached for the semi-automatic, and before he could even get it out properly, Normandy hit one clean shot to the side of his head and another to his thigh, sending him crumpling to the ground.
Pauling had only as far as pulling her own handgun free, thumb on the safety, and breathed a sigh of relief, glancing over at Normandy, shifting to more comfortably hold her gun. “Quick reflexes,” she noted.
“Just noticed a lot sooner, maybe,” he shrugged, stepping forward to glance over the body, tucking his gun back away.
“What was your hint?”
“He’s here to give us the right folder, yeah? Well, why were his hands empty, then?”
She was just starting to nod and realize that as well when a second man shouldered through the door, holding a gun at the ready. Normandy scrambled to draw his own, but Pauling fired a shot into his knee, shoulder, and neck to send him dropping before he was even close. “There’s quick on the draw, and then there’s prepared,” she said pointedly. “Gotta think of if there’s more than one, new guy.”
He nodded, and drew his gun again, bending to hit the guy on the ground at the temple hard enough to knock him out if he wasn’t unconscious already. He then glanced up at the sound of a shout from the other side of the door, two men shouldering through, guns drawn but lowered. It was only the firm eye contact they made with both her and Normandy that made her pause the millisecond it took to realize these ones weren’t trying to kill them.
“Pauling, what on earth is going on here?!” Montgomery demanded, entering the room and staring with wide eyes at the bodies on the ground. “What could’ve possessed you to—“
“He was trying to run off with these documents,” she explained quickly, gesturing with the envelope. “He knew whatever was in here was valuable.”
“He drew his gun, sir,” Normandy added, tipping his head down towards the body, and Pauling glanced down as well and found herself a little surprised. He’d rearranged the man just slightly, apparently, adjusting the arm to be holding the gun a bit further outward. “Other one was aiming to kill.”
“My, my,” Montgomery tsk’d, shaking his head as he surveyed the scene. “What a mess. My apologies, Miss Pauling, Mr. Normandy.”
“It’s alright, but you need to start doing more thorough checks on your staff, Mr. Montgomery,” Pauling stressed.
“He’s only been here two weeks, sir, he was one of the men we hired in a hurry after the incident last month,” one of the bodyguards said, and Montgomery shook his head.
“Thank goodness nobody was hurt,” he sighed. “Mutiny, and besides that, they’re bleeding on my carpet. Here are those papers, Miss Pauling—what a day, eh?”
“It’s really alright, we handled it,” Pauling assured him, giving her bravest smile, a little exasperated now.
“Right, right, you and the first baseman,” he agreed, and Normandy fought back an actual smile.
“If you’d like, we can take care of those for you,” Pauling said, gesturing at the bodies. “To pay you back for the carpet and the scare.”
“Sounds fair to me,” Montgomery agreed, clearly relieved.
-
“My dad’s gonna be pissed, by the way,” Normandy was so helpful as to say on the way back up the path to the base. “And you’re fielding that.”
“About the suit, or the fight?” she asked, glancing at his clothes where he was somewhat covered in a fine dusting of mud and grime from the gravedigging, shovel still in his free hand.
“Both. Mostly the fight. Your fault for saying it’d be an easy one to start with,” he said.
“If it was going to be that much of a problem, you wouldn’t have gotten this job. I’d just have made you go do dishes all day or something,” Pauling replied.
“Point taken,” he said, walking ahead to get the door, holding it open for her. “Wait, we’re allowed to mention what we do, right? Just not names?”
“Or locations, even with travel distance. Round up to the hour if it comes up,” she replied.
“Sure, sure,” he agreed, trailing a step behind her as she led the way through the base.
In the common area, there was a bit of a ruckus happening. Soldier, Heavy, and Demo appeared to be having some kind of arm wrestling competition on a rapidly-toppling table, the Engineer was on a stepstool trying to fix the ceiling fan, and Sniper appeared to be half-watching the beginnings of an argument between Pyro and the Spy regarding use of the oven as Medic patched up a burn on his arm.
“Hullo,” Sniper greeted the two of them, sounding a little bored, Medic giving them a brief, polite nod. Normandy’s eyebrows were raised pretty far as he surveyed the room.
“Hi, Sniper,” she greeted in return, then cleared her throat, raised her voice. “Team meeting in five minutes! New mission for next week!”
Groans from the room at large, the eight mercenaries starting to finish up what they were doing and filing out. Spy moved over, glancing over Normandy and starting to talk to him in rapid-fire French, picking smaller bits of gravel off of his suit as they walked.
“Alright,” she addressed the room, Normandy peeling off from getting mother hen’d by Spy to stand next to the blackboard with her. “Monday, you’re all going on a transport mission. Getting the truck from point A to point B with everything in the boxes intact. Already we’ve had to put up with some people trying to get ahold of these things, so bring your guns.”
“Oh, our guns, you said? Lads, this is a serious one, keep your heads on a feckin' swivel, she’s sayin’ we might even need guns, can you believe it?” Demo faux-gasped, and chuckled when Spy bopped him on the arm, rolling his eyes at the Scot's theatrics.
“Yeah, yeah,” she waved off, flipping through the papers a bit. “So Engie, I’ll need the keys to the truck, me and Normandy are going to be loading those tomorrow, all of you need to be at this drop point bright and early.”
“How early?” Heavy rumbled.
“Six. Hour and a half of drive from here.”
Some complaints from the room that she sighed at.
“Hey, hey, calm the hell down,” Normandy cut in, and she glanced over at him where he had his arms crossed and a stern look on his face. “You chuckleheads get to have all eight of you to unload the damn thing, me and Miss P gotta do all the rest of this on our own and probably kill twenty guys on the way there and back. She had to be up at 6 AM, workin’ since 7 AM, lunch break at noon and nothin’ else, and we just got back now at, what, fuckin’, 10, 11 PM? Any of you work her shift and then see if you even got the energy to complain about wakin’ up early, how about that?”
The room went utterly devoid of complaint or backsass. “Thank you, Normandy,” she said politely, and he just nodded once, glancing off to the side. “Anyways, anything new on this end? Spy, how are you adjusting?”
“Very well,” he said simply. “I have nothing pressing to say. Once I’ve been updated from the stock weaponry provided here to my requested preferred weaponry, I believe I should do just fine.”
“I see you already have Herr Normandy digging graves,” Medic chimed in. “Straight into the hard labor, ja?”
“Eh, hey, y’know, it’s why they keep us young people around,” he shrugged, grinning, and there was a brief uproar to drown out Medic’s entirely offended scoffing and Spy’s snort-laughing.
“Get ‘im, lad!” Demo cheered, and Normandy indeed looked fairly proud of himself.
“Monday, transport mission,” Pauling noted over the noise, writing it up on the chalkboard to hide her own smile from the room. “Normandy, you and me are doing the boxes tomorrow. Everyone on the same page? Good. Dismissed. Oh, and Pyro—stop taking the fire alarms down when they beep. They’re beeping because you light things on fire in the base. Do that outside.”
“Oh, hey, uh, helmet guy, All-American Beef,” Normandy called, and Soldier straightened up. “Here’s your shovel back. Gettin’ my own tomorrow.”
Soldier walked directly over to him, clasping a hand on his shoulder. “That’s a high honor, Cadet,” he said, tone grave. “Do not take this responsibility lightly.”
“I, uh, I won’t?” he said hesitantly, and blinked a few times as the shovel was carefully taken from him before it was promptly marched from the room in double-time. Only then did Normandy look over at her. “So he’s always like that?”
“You’ll get used to it,” she assured, dusting chalk from her hands. “You should get to sleep soon, we have to be up early.”
“Sure thing, Miss P.”

Casual Ruin pt. 4 (Elriel)
Elain’s part of the Damnation Series
~Elain~
“Bless me Father, for I have sinned.”
That’s what I’m supposed to say, right? That’s what they say in movies, I think. Does it count if it isn’t in Italian?
I rub a hand across my forehead, shaking my head at myself. I’m not even religious. I haven’t been to church since I grew out of the pastel pink Easter dress my mother used to love forcing me into.
Yet here I am, sitting in a dark, hot box, attempting to confess my sins.
I think I’m losing it.
Five days with no Azriel, and I’m turning to religion.
The dark shadow on the other side of the confessional doesn’t help me in the slightest or even tell me if I’m doing this right. He just sits in silence and waits for me to pour my heart and soul out.
So I say, in an embarrassingly shaky tone, “Well, I... I’ve been sleeping with someone.”
That gets me a low hm.
“Someone I shouldn’t have.” Before he can get the wrong idea, I blurt, “He’s not married or anything. At least, I don’t think so. God, what if he’s married? Oh, I probably shouldn’t say God’s name in vain in church. Sorry.”
Father gives a deep sigh, and I take that to mean I should hurry up. “Anyway, he’s just... not a good guy. I won’t confess his sins for him, but believe me, he’s committed his fair share.”
Still nothing.
I think he’s waiting for the actual confession part of this thing.
So I say the words I’ve been trying to fight for the last five days. “I told him I don’t want to see him anymore, but I don’t think... I don’t think that’s really true.”
Another hm, this time more thoughtful.
“I keep thinking about him, all the time. Even though I know it’s wrong. He’s like a tumor.”
There’s a huff, like he’s amused.
“I’m worried I’m not a good enough person to say away from him,” I murmur quietly, which is the understatement of the century.
I know I’m not, which is why I’m here.
I’m pre-confessing, because if the way Azriel’s been on my mind the past couple of days is any indication, it’s only a matter of time before I get desperate enough to call him and tell him his... occupation doesn’t change things.
There’s a bit of a pause, like he doesn’t know how to reply, and then for the first time, I get an actual response. In a very thick, very German accent, the... priest? replies, “His sins are not yours.”
He’s taking the stance opposite of what I thought he would, but that’s a good point. Good enough I don’t bother asking myself why a German priest is in an Italian church.
“True, but if I stay with him, aren’t I condoning them? Don’t they become mine?”
“His sins are not yours,” he repeats.
Helpful.
I’m about to ask for a little bit of actual advice when he asks, “Do you regret it?”
“No,” I answer almost immediately, knowing that no matter how much I hate what Azriel does, I could never regret the time I spent with him.
He’s silent, probably thinking of my punishment for being such a scheming harlot.
I’ll likely have to do a million hail Mary’s once this conversation is over.
But instead of telling me I’m going to hell, he surprises me by asking, “So you plan to sleep with him again?”
There was something familiar about the tone of his voice, but I don’t know anyone German, so I don’t ponder it for long. His question doesn’t require pondering, either.
“No,” I answered with fake certainty, even though the thought of never having Azriel’s calloused hands all over me makes me unspeakably sad.
“Are you sure? Forgiveness from the Lord requires... repentance.”
I sigh at that, hesitating even though I shouldn’t. “I’m sure. No matter how much I want to or think about it, I can’t.”
“I think you should.”
My mouth drops open, not only because the words he just said or the sudden disappearance of his accent, but because the screen separating me from the man on the other side of the confessional drops, revealing the bane of all my problems.
Azriel sticks a cigarette between his full lips, lights it casually, and smiles the devil’s smile.
“What the hell are you doing in here?” I demand, barely resisting the urge to fling myself over to his side and strangle him.
“Listening to a very insincere confession.” Even though I narrow my eyes in the most threatening gesture I can make, he continues, “You know, if you feel like you need punishing, I can always take you over my knee.”
A strange tingle shoots through me and makes my spin straighten, but I ignore it and glare at him harder.
“You shouldn’t be here.” I look him over, ignoring how good it is to see him and asking, “Aren’t you worried you’re going to catch on fire?”
He grins, blowing smoke around him. “If I’m the devil, does that make you my angel?”
“I’m not your anything.”
He just watches me and smokes his cigarette, something I’m sure is frowned upon in church. Probably right beneath sneaking into a private confessional.
“Are you even religious?”
My lips twitch as I lie and say, “Recently converted.”
Azriel braces his arms in the small hole of the wall between us, looking unconvinced. “Yeah? What are the Ten Commandments?”
My head tilts as my eyes narrow. “I don’t know them all, but I have to believe one is about not killing people.”
“Number six,” he tells me, surprising me with the fact that he knows that. “You know, there’s also one about not stealing. And I happen to know for a fact you stole my sunglasses that day we were on the beach.”
Comparing those two sins is so ridiculous, a laugh bubbles out of me. He killed someone, yet by his logic I’m just as bad a sinner.
I knew this religion thing wasn’t for me.
“Why are you here, Azriel?” I ask, trying to get back to normal footing.
He takes so long to respond, I’m almost convinced he isn’t even going to bother. He runs a hand across his jaw, through his hair. Looks around at the plain little booth. Smokes some more.
When I’m about to give up and just leave, he says quietly, “I can’t stop thinking about you, either.”
My heart starts to pick up pace. “Yeah?”
I know I shouldn’t encourage this conversation, but hearing that he thinks about me the way I think about him... it means something to me.
“Yeah,” he agrees after a few moments, reaching out to tuck my hair behind my ear.
It falls silent, and something grows in the silence, building between us until all I’m aware of are the small sweeps of his thumb against my cheekbone.
I don’t know if he pulls me forward or if I take the step myself, but suddenly I’m right in front of him, our faces lined up through the small hole in the wall.
There’s a Bible in a little cubby that’s pressing into my stomach, and I’m sure there’s no better sign to resist sin than literal scripture digging into you, but I can’t bring myself to care.
It’s been less than a week without him, but it’s like my body is touched starved. The single inch where we’re connected is a live wire, and I close my eyes, trying to figure out what we were even talking about.
Releasing a tense breath that sounds a whole lot like relief, he slides his hand to the nape of my neck and leans his head to rest against mine.
“Fuck,” he says, like it’s an all-encompassing statement and not a single word. “Come back to me, carro.”
He smells like rain and smoke and something dangerous I never understood until now, and it’s so intoxicating I almost lose myself. Brushing my nose against his, I breathe him in over and over, never getting used to it. “You want me?”
A nod, so small it’s almost imperceptible. But it’s there, and we both know it.
Making sure my lips brush his, I lean in and whisper, “Then beg for me.”
He goes still, tension coming to rest in the hands still gripping my nape.
See, I realized something in the five days since I last saw him.
He wants me to say that him being in the mafia doesn’t change anything, confess to lying about it in the first place, and beg him to fuck me, yet hasn’t even apologized for lying to me in the first place.
Sure, I lied, but he got us in this mess, not me.
So he gets to beg.
Azriel pulls back, and there’s such dark depths in his eyes that I shiver. “What did you just say?”
I don’t respond, because I don’t need to. We both know he heard me.
He releases me with a huff, stepping back and practically growling, “No.”
Raising an eyebrow, I challenge, “Why is it different? You want me to confess to lying about saying that what you do changes things? Fine. I confess, Azriel. I have feelings for you that, whether or not I like it, outweigh the moral part of me that tells me to run in the opposite direction.”
Despite how casually I say it, that realization almost breaks me to admit.
I realized it when he popped up in this booth, looking every bit the villain and completely making my day. Wrong or not, he makes me happy.
“You have my confession, but you know what? I want yours.”
He shakes his head, seeming to not understand, so I elaborate. “I want you to actually apologize for lying to me. I want you to admit that you put me in an impossible situation, then acted like it wasn’t a big deal. And I want you to beg for my forgiveness.”
The muscles in his jaw are clenched so hard I don’t think he can even open his mouth, but he manages to say, “That will never happen.”
Something inside my chest collapses, so suddenly and painfully I can’t hardly breathe. I hadn’t realized how much I needed it until now, how much it actually meant to me.
The fact that he won’t make that compromise for me threatens to send my emotions scattering, so I stiffen my spine and force the words out.
“Then we’re done.”
He smacks a hand against the wall of the booth but doesn’t say anything, not even as I fling open the door and flee.
I rush through the thankfully empty pews and outside, right into a downpour.
The urge to laugh rises as I become instantly soaked, my dress sticking to me and my hair flattening to my head. It isn’t funny, and would be considered normal any other time or place, but we’ve had a month of paradise without a single rainy day.
Until right now. It’s almost like the sky’s mood matches mine.
Practically running, I make my way towards the townhouse. At least it’s close, I think as I hurry. If it was far away I’d probably collapse in a side alley and just let the rain wash me away.
When I reach the door, unlocking it in a hurry, I feel someone walk up behind me. Stepping inside, I turn to see Azriel staring down at me.
Rain washes over the planes of his face, and while I probably look like a wet rat, he looks like something out of a movie.
"Why do you need this?” he asks, the anger thick in his voice.
“Why do you?”
He doesn’t make a move to come in, practically ignoring the rain as he asks in a dry tone, “You mean why do I need to hear that what I do and have done--that this fucking life I was forced into--doesn’t make me a monster?”
“Azriel-”
“Because you’re the one person in this entire goddamn world who knows me.”
I give him a look that conveys how little I believe that.
I don’t know anything about him. That’s the problem.
He shakes his head. “You know who I could’ve been, Elain.”
It’s my turn to shake my head, because I don’t understand.
He seems to make the decision of whether or not to tell me at once, saying, “Who I could’ve been if I hadn’t been born into a sadistic fucking family who beat the shit out of me for existing.”
Raw anguish lines his voice, and I stop breathing, stop thinking.
“You know who I wanted to be, who I dreamed of being, when I was in the hospital with a fractured skull or in lockup for stealing a car to run away.” He throws a hand out, yelling, “I didn’t ask for this shit! I wanted to be who I am with you. But when someone came and said they could get me out of the life I knew would kill me, I fucking said yes. And I don’t regret it.”
Tears are streaming down my face, mixing with the rain bouncing off the door. I never knew. “Azriel...”
“The day my older brother took a hammer to my hands because I scratched his CD was the last time I apologized. And I haven’t begged for anything since I was old enough to know better.”
There’s a set to his jaw, a hardness in his body I’ve never seen. “But none of this shit even matters, and it isn’t an excuse, because you’re right.”
The rain comes somehow harder, almost drowning us, but I’m rooted to this spot.
Especially as Azriel slowly lowers himself to his knees, right there on the threshold of the door.
“I’m sorry, Elain. I’m sorry I lied to you and put you in this position and acted like an ass about it. I’m so fucking sorry.”
I shake my head again, whispering, “Stop.”
I can’t bear for him to be like this after hearing what he said, can’t bear to be the reason for the strain in his voice.
He doesn’t listen. Just looks up at me with such open, deep eyes I almost choke. “Please.”
A sob escapes me as I make the decision instantly, falling to my knees and throwing myself at him.
He grunts as we collide, but I capture the sound with my mouth, seeming to take him off guard as I kiss him without abandon.
His hair is like wet silk between my fingers, and I realize the door’s still open and that rain is still getting everywhere, but I don’t care about anything but him.
His hands grip my waist, holding me steady, as I kiss him until I’m breathless, until I know he’ll believe me.
“You’re not a monster,” I tell him, pulling back to palm either side of his face. “I know you, and I know you’re not a monster.”
He leans in again, but I keep going, knowing that he needs to hear this as much as I need to say it.
“I decided before I saw you today that what you do doesn’t change things for me. I just want you.”
The knowledge of how deep we’re in this settles between us, growing into something undeniable as we stare at each other.
This time, when he kisses me again, I don’t stop him.
We fall over, him landing on top of me, and roll until we’re far enough inside that he can kick the door closed.
It’s silent besides the sound of our breathing, the rain pounding against the windows, and the deep, wet slide of our mouths coming together.
I tug at the hem of his shirt, and he pulls back long enough to rip it off. His skin’s hot compared to the cool water all over us, and I’m dizzy on the feel of him. I feel like I can’t get enough, can’t have him fast enough.
His hands are rough against me, tilting my head where he wants it, gripping my hips, putting my arms above my head.
Reaching between us, he fists the thin fabric of my dress, and then there’s a ripping sound I don’t even care to protest because now his skin’s against mine, and I don’t think anything has felt better.
A thumb on my jaw pushes my head to the side, and then his mouth is on my neck and he’s kissing me over the spot where my pulse flutters as proof of my pounding heart.
I tug his belt open, and he toes his boots off, pulling back to finish getting rid of his jeans then settling back over me.
I tilt my hips up, not able to take the wait anymore, but he has more self control, taking the time to kiss my throat, my jaw, the tip of my nose.
“Please,” I beg. “I need you. Please, Azriel.”
He’s inside me with the next breath, filling me so deeply I can’t think.
“Merda,” he curses, forehead dropping to mine. “Questa figa e stata fatta per me.”
The dirty words just make me burn hotter.
Or maybe it’s the fact that I have one of the most dangerous men in the world between my thighs, waxing poetic about sex with me.
His teeth tug on my earlobe, and I arch up into him, making him sink deeper in me.
“Dimmi- shit,” Azriel chuckles, almost like he didn’t realize he wasn’t speaking English. “Tell me if it’s too much.”
Knowing that won’t happen, I nod and open my mouth to ask him to hurry up with it.
But I never get the chance, because the next second, he’s pulling out and slamming into me so hard I slide across the floor. I don’t get far, because one arm goes under my head to grip my shoulder and the other lifts my leg to keep it in place.
And then he starts to move.
His hips hit mine hard enough to bruise, his mouth is demanding against mine, and his grip on my shoulder is unshakeable. It’s rough and restrictive and something I never knew I needed.
He’s turned me into this wanton, thoughtless thing, and all I can do is burn and burn and pray I survive.
A moan escapes me with every thrust, almost like he’s pushing them out of me, and I know I’m loud enough the sweet old lady next door will hear, but I can’t stop.
“You have to be quiet, or this’ll be over before I’m ready,” he warns in a breathy voice that makes it even harder to keep quiet.
It gets worse as he starts to repeatedly hit the spot only he’s been able to find, like he’s in perfect sync with my body.
“Fuck, Azriel,” I moan, losing my mind at how good he feels against me.
I try to fight it off, try to prolong this longer, but one of his hands slips to my throat. And as he lightly squeezes the sides, the blood rushes through me in a heady current, I come so hard I almost pass out.
Shaking beneath him, I release a loud moan he covers my mouth to stifle. When he pulls it away, I see slight indentations and realize I must’ve bit him.
I make a note to apologize later. Even if the way his eyes go almost black tells me he isn’t mad about it.
I’m almost comatose, but he isn’t even finished. He just grits his teeth, pauses to throw my leg over his shoulder, and keeps going.
My hands grip his shoulders, nails digging into his skin and trying to keep him exactly where he is, doing exactly what he’s doing.
Thunder breaks outside, but it isn’t loud enough to mask the sound of us coming together or the moans he’s no longer masking.
Despite my body being sensitized and exhaused, when he cups my cheek, kisses me softly, and says, “Come with me,” I do.
He groans, hips churning messily against mine, as release finds us both. My legs shake, squeeze his waist like a vice, then go limp.
All of me does, actually. I’m boneless and pliant and couldn’t move if I was paid to.
Azriel isn’t much better off, collapsing on top of me and suffocating me with his warm weight.
“Holy shit,” I whisper after a moment, smiling at the amused huff he lets out.
Air starts to become hard to find, so he rolls off me, then sits to lean his back against the door.
“We’re on the floor,” he says, almost like he didn’t even notice before now.
I shrug, not caring in the slightest. “I can’t move, so we’re going to have to stay here.”
He chuckles, something entirely male in his eyes as he looks at me. My cheeks grow warm as he looks at the complete mess at apex of my thighs and murmurs, “Fuck, that’s pretty.”
“You are so inappropriate,” I mumble, covering my face with my hands.
Nodding his agreement, he grips my hips and practically drags me on top of him. “You like it, though,” he teases, putting a sweet kiss to my lips.
“I do,” I admit, kissing him again.
Something brushes against my thigh, and I look down between us, then raise a brow. I knew he had stamina, but this is...
“Consider it making up for lost time.”
A laugh bubbles out of me, and he smiles, one of those full, beautiful smiles I’m helpless to resist.
I know everything’s complicated now and I know he does horrible things, but when he smiles at me like that, it’s hard to care about anything except how happy he makes me. Right or wrong, good or bad, there’s something between us I’m powerless against.
“It’s been five days,” I remind him, running my hands up his chest and into his hair. “Better get started.”
~
The floor. The wall. The stairs. The shower.
He gives me a tour of my own house, fucking me on every inch of available space.
I’m just as much to blame, I guess. Any time he tries to do anything besides me, I tug him back, unable to stop myself.
He’s the drug I’m happily overdosing on, and fuck, does it feel good.
When we finally end up in bed hours later, I expect to immediately pass out. He definitely looks tired, and I’m sure I’m not much better, considering the amount of... activity my body’s been through tonight.
But despite the lingering exhaustion, we lay there, just looking at each other.
There’s still so much left unsaid, so many unanswered questions and untold stories, but I don’t want to ruin the moment by talking, much less asking questions, so I stay quiet.
His lips twitch, almost like he can see what I’m thinking.
“I’ll tell you anything you want to know,” he murmurs a second later, proving that thought correct. “I won’t lie to you again.”
I nod, thinking of what I want to ask first.
I also think about the pain in his eyes earlier, when he gave me that piece of himself. I don’t ever want to be the cause of that pain, so I ask something I assume is unrelated.
“Who was the man I hit with the wine bottle?”
The corner of his lips tip up. “That was Luca. I guess you could say he’s my friend, but more officially he’s my Underboss. We worked our way up through the ranks together.”
“You’ve known him a long time then?”
He nods, propping his head up with an arm. “We were in prison together.”
Questions bloom, but I don’t want to pry, so-
“I was sentenced to three years for grand theft auto and another for assaulting the cop who booked me. Luca was in for intent to sell.”
At my blank look, he says, “Drugs, Elain.”
“Oh.” I feel stupid as hell, so I deflect by asking, “You were cellmates?”
“No,” he laughs, running a hand over his jaw thoughtfully. “But after he saved my ass from getting jumped one day, we stuck together.”
It’s quiet until I ask, “How’d you get out?”
“Well, this was in Chicago-”
My eyes grow wide as I cut him off. “You’re from Chicago? You’re American?”
He laughs at the disbelief in my voice, nodding while my brain explodes. He’d never told me, but I’d just assumed he was born in Sicily.
“Anyway, this was in Chicago. I was seventeen, but got tried as an adult because of my record with juvie. I spent two years inside, then the Capo there just showed up one day and told me he could get me out.”
“Seriously?”
“Yeah,” he says, rolling on his back and looking up at the ceiling. “I remember it like it happened yesterday. He’s only three years older than me, but he was wearing a two-thousand dollar suit and had everything I didn’t. He said he needed someone to work for him, to do the shit no one wanted to.”
Sliding closer, I prop my head up with a hand. “And that was you?”
“He said he looked at my records and that I had potential.” He laughs, almost unbelieving. “I was nothing more than an angry fuckup from the south side, and he said I had potential. He said he knew who my father and brothers were and could help me get revenge. I knew it was crazy, but I said yes. On the condition Luca got out, too.”
My eyebrows go up as he says, “We were out the next day.”
“Powerful friends,” I mutter.
He toys with the ends of my hair, slight smile on his face.
“I worked in Chicago for about a year, then was sent here. He said he needed someone over here he could trust. My family’s Italian, so I knew the language, and with my baggage, I wanted out of the city anyway.” He takes a deep breath, running his hand down my arm. “So I moved here and worked my way up.”
He picks my hand up, measuring the difference between our palms.
“And now you’re Capo.”
“Mmhm.”
Tugging my hand, he pulls me closer, burying his head in my neck and inhaling.
“I have the Capo of the Sicilian Mafia in my bed,” I remark almost unbelievingly, making him laugh.
He shifts to lay down, holding me in his arms, and I marvel at how small and delicate I feel with him. My head’s against his chest, and hes curled around me, making me sigh.
“The Capo is a snuggler,” I murmur, running my hands across the smooth expanse of his back and smiling when he makes a low sound of contentment.
“I haven’t slept the past five days,” he tells me. “I couldn’t sleep without you in my bed. You have no idea how much it pissed me off at the time.”
Laughing, I snuggle closer. He’s so big and warm, and I’m so tired.
Eyes struggling to stay open, I realize I never told him something.
“You’re forgiven,” I whisper.
I feel his lips on my brow, kissing me so gently my heart clenches. And I swear I hear him say something, but I’m soo tired to stay awake to hear it.
I fall asleep in his arms, and even though he’s dangerous and everything I should hate, it’s the most peaceful I’ve ever felt.
I’ve said the past month with him has felt like a fairy tale, and that’s true.
Maybe just not with the knight in shining armor, but with the villain instead.
