HOWEVER. ive been stuck in philippines with very shitty/no wifi so i got plenty of time to think about them and i think ive finally gotten a semi-solid handle on cecilia so!! it is time to inflict her on the world

ive mentioned her before but cecilia rider, in all her herbo glory, truly is the ideal of fuck around and find out. she has the highest daring out of my steps and is reckless in ways that give all my other steps heart attacks. and like ive said before, cecilia is not the type of person to regret her actions, past and present. she will keep moving forward even when it hurts. nothing demonstrates that more than her relationship with the other rangers

cecilia is a hunger scar step, and by god does she hunger. she craves human connection, to have a relationship and feel loved again. the only thing that kept her from walking to the front door of HQ after her second escape was her work as a villain– she didnt want to be distracted, not when it was something she looked forward to for years.

her first reaction to meeting ortega again was excitement. she was so happy to see him, her best friend of years, and once upon a time one of her only connections to the outside world. The old jokes, banter, smiles and hugs was something she didnt even know she wanted, but when she got it again she was desperate for more. she couldnt live without it. after that, she cared so much and so recklessly, with no concern over what would happen if she did

after ortega, she ended up befriending herald (though that rooftop kidnapping was rough, she got pissed and ended up punching him djsjjdjs). it was really smooth, actually– cecilia is just a nice person, very bubbly and kind, and she loves being around herald, his thoughts made her feel warm and cared for (even if, in her eyes, he only cared for sidestep, not cecilia). plus, shes a lupin thief. i can imagine herald and cecilia discussing and debating art with eachother in their downtime. it makes me SO sad that you can only hang out w one ranger in checkpoint 4, even if it makes sense, because i think cecilia would totally go out with him for dinner for the free food and then waylay him with an "actually, im a lesbian who's going for your ex girlfriend" when he asks her on a proper date. in my heart this and the hangout with argent happened. I accept nothing else. Anyway those two are bffs and cecilia would beat the shit out of anyone who hurts him(except herself, because she did end up beating him to high hell at the museum. sorry danny lmfao)

cecilia ended up befriending chen next. actually, she never really wanted to be friends with him. she was perfectly content leaving him as the one ranger she hated. but, well, he has a dog, so she couldnt really stay mad at him, could she?

Bless spoon for all his hard work, because cecilia wouldve never interacted with chen civilly otherwise. she discovered that she actually liked walking with chen, as weird as that was, since hes at least less of a dick now. she went to walk spoon after therapy(sorry ortega) and was pleasantly surprised to find that chens quiet, more contemplative nature did well to calm her, especially since shes just a rowdy person in general. when she found out chen was gay and jealous of her, though,,,,, well, all i can say is rip chen because cecilia would never let him live that one down. i can imagine she teases him mercilessly about getting him and ortega together. chen will never know a moments peace again

and then there is, of course, argent. cecilia didnt care much for her during rebirth, up until the gala fight, where they fought eachother for the first time. she fought her fairly in the sewers and ended up enjoying it, even though argent stole her cape. from that point on, she looked forward to their fights just as much as argent did. in the bridge, she was very pleased to know that the flirting was reciprocated, and that kiss as she was very probably about to die did wonders for her heart rate. same with getting choked in the HQ. she had ample time to stop argent before it happened btw, she was just curious and then faced the consequences of her own actions lmfao

all that said, most of it was just cecilia finding her hot. she didnt really start being drawn to argent until the casino. the regenerator was the first time cecilia saw real desperation in her, a want that made her think, for once, maybe somebody could understand her. that somebody could relate to the constant feeling of need gnawing away at her. and of course, because this is cecilia, she made the most drastic decision she could think of to confirm it– she took her chances and revealed her tattoos, and herself, to argent. she had no qualms taking the subsequent consequences, and was very happy to know that the worst she suffered was a swollen lip(one that shed use to torment ortega later on anyway)

i cant explain it very well but argent and cecilia make me so jdjjjdjkkkkdj yk. theyre so similar. theyre both so stubborn, moving on from things without a second glance, because if they didnt theyd drown in it. they dont regret (most) of their actions. and most importantly to me, they can become very soft when it comes to the people they care about. cecilia is more open about it since she has more people she trusts with that part of herself, and she extends that to argent. sure she loves to flirt and tease, but shes unabashedly honest when it comes to what she feels. she accepts most things that comes her way, and the things she doesnt she isnt afraid to speak her mind about. and maybe thats what gets her on argents couch, stealing chocolate eclairs from eachother and watching sappy 70s movies. either way, shes quite happy with where she ended up.

or, shes happy at least until the crash. her canon run is a revealed ending. all of the relationships that shes built over the past few months? gone, just like that. everything shes ever wanted, everything she got, was stripped away from her a second time, which was Not fun for her hunger scar ass. she has no idea what she'll do, and shes terrified of the farm coming to take her in. for once, she regrets everything, all her actions leading up to this moment. but what can she do? theres nothing left for her, and once the farm gets her, theres going to be less than nothing.

argent saving her is probably the best thing that ever happened to her. both because she wont have to go back to the farm, and also because its a quiet confirmation that she hasnt lost everything. That she still had people she could trust. everyone else would be a long and difficult task of mending and rebuilding. but then again, when has she ever shyed away from the long and the difficult?

He didn’t even imagine there could exist one with such awful luck, but she proved him wrong, times and times again, when out of 10 dices, none of them would depict the element she needed... She had some difficulty with the weight of the weapon, but twirling around made it feel less than a feather.

A good memory would be when she cheered for Sandor Clegane during the journey for Prince Joffrey’s name day… While he was still Prince, at least. He was such a good man, despite that rough exterior he puts out - Though Sansa was afraid to even look at him, Y/N always felt safe around him. Ironically, the same could be said about Tyrion, the Lannister dwarf with that silver tongue and cheek to match him. She could could count on her fingers the amount of times he had saved her and Sansa from danger - And she wouldn’t have enough hands.

She missed the North so much. That harsh cold was soothing, and the whipping wind was a caress. She wanted to hear the lullaby of the forest and the beauty of the fauna and flora around. She wanted to feel the fluffy snow under her feet again, and see her North lights with her old friend, the bastard of Dreadfort. She was glad that her parents had no idea she would meet up with Ramsay Snow every fortnight, in the Wolf’s Woods - He might have been the craziest psychopath, she thought, but she hadn’t felt more alive than when they were running with their canine companions through the frozen forests.

Both of you were in distress, then you feel like you wanted to jump out of your window when you just realized what your parents said before you ran upstairs with your ice cream. “We will be having evening dinner with them tomorrow” those few words coming out of the mother you loved so much. You wanted to ask them to reschedule but you didn’t want to make a fuss about it. So you did what you had to do. Write a journal entry. You had those ‘main character moments’ and now that felt too real. You would store them in a little notebook that Karina gave you when you guys were little. You wrote down your thoughts, then signing it off with your name and a heart around it. Getting a sticker and sticking it on the page. Yes you thought it was childish but moments like these are moments where you had peace in. Found hope in.

The day you dreaded came upon. The stars filling up the sky, as you touched up your makeup. Going downstairs. You saw a tall and handsome man. Wait did you just say handsome?! Whatever..

And that was how your first evening with lee heeseung went. You mentally slapped yourself for not actually making a decent conversation, in just a blink in time you were already wedding dress shopping. ON ANOTHER EVENING WITH HIS FAMILY ⎯ now this is when you started to really rip your hair out, they were already talking about wedding rings.. you think its all happening to fast trying to ignore your parent's and heeseung's parents from all the passing of opinions. Heeseung saw your expression and practically read your mind, he slowly grabbed your hand and rubbed circles with his thumb on your palm. Even though both of you didn't know each other well, it's not too late to know more. You studied his face as you realized you were staring, looking away in embarrassment. He chuckles. "OH MY GOD Y/N X HEESEUNG CRUMBS RN BFF" Karina screamed as you told her what had happened at dinner time. "We don't even know if he's nice, what if he did that just to impress my parents." You said. "based on the k-drama's i've watched that is less likely to happen babes." Karina said raising a brow. Maybe Karina's right, maybe lee heeseung isn't all that bad. Rule #1 in marrying lee heeseung: Don't try not to fall in love. You didn't know if it's just you trying to not get heart broken again, or if you didn't like him at all. Time passes, you eventually got his number. hee :): sent a message hey y/n-ah.. if your free, would you like to facetime? y/n &lt;;3 sent a message oh sure :) that call went on for 4 hours. After laughing at one of heeseung's effortless way to make you laugh or smile. Each time he got to see your smile, he got this warm fuzzy feeling. He didn't know how to describe it. Was he actually falling in love with y/n? You look at the time, 1:49 am. "Hee.. it's late we should probably got to bed.." You said. Heeseung snapping on of his daze, "oh yeah yeah of course.. goodnight and sweet dreams y/n-nah.." He said while smiling softly. It took a while for you to respond, the way your heart fluttered made you confused. Were you actually falling in love with lee heeseung? "Goodnight Heeseung" You said. This same routine followed for the next few months of your 'relationship' You then slept happily, you then reflected on how many times Heeseung made your heart flutter.. was this intentional? was this you being delusional? you couldn't describe the feeling. The sun met your eyes.. in a not so oh hello world expression. You grabbed your phone and then met with a notification hee :): sent a message goodmorning please open your door. Sent 2 hours ago

Your eyes widened, you quickly changed and got ready. You looked outside your window to see Heeseung sitting on the ground playing with his phone. Heeseung spotted you, he smiled as he mouthed 'are you gonna stop staring?' you quickly shut your curtains as you rushed downstairs as you opened the door. "Goodmorning.." You said as Heeseung chuckled letting himself in. "Goodmorning to you too." He smiled sitting down at the dining table. "Have you eaten?" you asked as he shook his head as a sign of no. You then grabbed the cereal box, milk, 2 bowls, 2 spoons, 2 glasses of water. You placed it on the dining table, as you both had breakfast together. It wouldn't be any other interaction with Heeseung if you wouldn't laugh your head off. "Promise me something.. you will have that same laugh until the day I die." Heeseung said. "Promise." You reflected.. forget trying to not fall in love with Heeseung, you already felt a connection ever since you met him.. every time your heart fluttered, every time your stomach would ache because of laughing too hard with Heeseung, every time you would spend 6 hours of your day talking to Heeseung about random things, you felt safe around him. Things were going so well until your parents started telling you about the wedding.. about this and that.. it started to really get up to you. Aside from that you had your part time job.. things have been going way too fast.. Heeseung related with you, saying that his parents wanted him to pick a ring already. You sighed as you plugged in your earphones, taking a stroll down.. breathing in the fresh air, the sound of children laughing, the smell of the nearby coffee shop, seeing couples having dates.. ouch.. how you wished that was you and Heeseung. You chuckled to yourself.. A DAY YOU WEREN'T EXPECTING.. ⎯ It's been 7 months ever since you met Heeseung.. surprising isn't it? it's just like you met him 7 days ago. Your parent's took you to a location, you could describe it as magical.. enchanting.. romantic? You then closed the passenger's seat as you walk to the fairy lights and ribbons that you could see from afar.. you saw Heeseung in a suit. And his Parents right beside him, you widened your eyes because you were just in your sweats and a hoodie. Should've tooken your parent's advice in wearing something presentable.. but anywho at least it's someone your comfortable with.. Heeseung smiled as he saw you walking slowly to him.

You were confused yes.. but mostly you were taken aback about how much effort they put into making this place that magical and enchanting for it to be. "I'm just going to speed up to the good part.. L/n.. Y/n, these past few months have truly been something.. very fun.. very clumsy.. and the best part was.. I got to fall inlove with you during those 7 months. Which leads me to ask you something.. Will you Marry me? Not just for the business?" He said kneeling down to open a small box with something engraved inside the box, 'Promise me you will have that same laugh.' You started tearing up, and you said.. "Yes."

god i wish i was at this peaceful state... damian tag is filled to the brim with it, and it spills over to the other tags. i am talking hundreds of likes. and do not get me started on twitter. tim is the biggest punching bag but no one is safe 💀. granted, writers do need to decide what they want to do with tim's character... DC keeping characters at standstill and annoying fans is really not a one in a time phenomenon, now is it.

But yeah, that sucks. Morrison's Batman run is the one I grew up with and I remember the sheer vitriol over Damian's character back then; now it seems that a lot more people like Damian, but the concept of having a favorite while not shitting on anyone else's seems like a hard one to grasp for some fans.

It does sound stressful as hell, RIP. This is partly why I don't engage with the Batfam side of things. People appear to have such strong opinions and headcanons and faves, which isn't exactly encouraging when it comes to expressing one's honest thoughts and preferences (without getting people yelling at you). There's also a lot of negativity, at least from what I've glimpsed... I do agree DC fucks up so much when it comes to comics and writing, but at some point if you don't enjoy anything at all about them, it's probably a lot healthier to just stop reading them.

Hello maggy!!! I just came to check up on you and I am sorry to know that you are in so much pain. It sucks and I hope it gets better soon. I didn't see you on the dash for quite some time and was very worried. Hope the appointment with the doctor went/goes well. Sending you lots of love, hugs and positive energy. I was meaning to come sooner but things are a bit busy nowadays. I am sorry for not coming sooner.

Saw something about people pressuring you I assume. First of all I am sorry that this is happening, even though you have already given us so much via abundance and other fics. I am so mad. This is just unacceptable. You are not well And the 1st thing on people's mind is update?? How dense are they? This is your hobby not your job for God's sake. Please ignore them they are not worth your time. I would suggest to Block them as they clearly need a wakeup call as to not do it with others/again.

I hope you are not paying a lot of mind to them. Keeping your peace is important after all.

Also please don't apologise for the delay. We understand. And its not your fault. As I have said before health is most important. Always. Everything else is secondary.

Please don't reply to this as it would strain your fingers more. I would prefer if you didn't. But if you wish to. Just drop an emoji on the response and I will understand you got the message.

Thank you so so much for you lovely message :( 💖 You don't have to worry about me replying, I took my time writing it so I promise it's okay! My doctor's appointment last week went fine, I got some new painkillers/anti-inflammatory medication to use until December, so that's been calming down the worst of the pain. I also finally got to see an physiotherapist, which was great! He managed to locate the problem (the areas that triggers my pain are very unusual so he had no idea how I had managed to strain them lol, love that for me 💀) and I had my first shockwave therapy session. It hurt so fucking bad that I almost passed out (rip) and I'm not super excited to do it five more times, BUT I can already tell that just that one session has made a difference and that's all that matters. I'm cutting back on work and I'm wearing a brace on both hands as much as possible, so I'm crossing my fingers that my hands will improve significantly over the next month or so!
