Tumblr media
When Neytiri and Jake saw you in a complete mess on Neteyam’s hands, they thought something bad happened with you in the water.
Kiri and Lo’ak explained what happened without hiding any details. Neytiri was so furious that she was ready to take her bow and fight this little ignorant boy. She knew that he was annoying her kids, but didn’t expect it to be as bad as it turned out. On the other hand, there was Jake. He was furious too, he knew that his attitude towards all situations when Ao’nung annoyed his kids caused it. He shouldn’t have told his kids to respect him just because he’s Olo’eyktan’s son. That was his fault.
“Tonowari must know what his son did.” Neytiri was crying like any mother who sees her child in pain. Especially that type of pain which you cannot see. “Ma Jake, tell something! We can’t let that go. My daughter is hurt and only Eywa knows if she’ll be able to heal!”
Jake looked at her and all his kids, who were waiting for his response. Neteyam was still holding you like a baby while you were sleeping. His daughter, his little yayo. He has to protect you.
“I’ll talk to Tonowari.”
“I’ll go with you.” Neytiri wanted to talk to Ronal and say her all this she had to carry inside of her soul since they arrived here.
Jake didn’t want her to come, he knew that she was extremely emotional now. He gave her a look asking if he’s sure it’s the right thing. Neytiri was determined to do that.
“Wait here, take care of your sister.”
***
“I’ll talk to him and he’ll be punished for his actions. I’m really sorry for what happened. I didn’t raise him this way. I hope Y/N will forgive him one day.”
Toniwari and Ronal were in a huge shock when Jake told them what Ao’nung did. The shame Olo’eyktan and his Tsahik felt wasn’t even close to the amount of pain Jake and Neytiri had to carry.
“Don’t ever let him come to my daughter again! If I notice him even thinking about coming to her, I swear I will not control myself.”
“Neytiri...” Jake didn’t want relationship with leader’s family to worsen.
“She’s right. He should stay away from her. I don’t want him to hurt an innocent soul again. I promise, we’ll look after him.” Ronal knew how Neytiri must feel herself now. “I promise as mother to mother. If you need help, tell me.”
Neytiri just nodded, she was still not over her emotions. But she was thankful for this. Ronal was the only one who could understand her at least a little.
***
It’s been two weeks since your breakdown. These two weeks you’ve been taken care by your whole family and you barely walked out of your Marui. You felt like you were dried out. No emotions at all. Jake and Neytiri were extremely worried about your mental state. You barely talked to anyone, even Kiri, and preferred to do things on your own.
Neteyam didn’t even think about keeping your lessons on ilu riding. He tried to catch your interest on other things, but nothing caught your eye. Even Tuk tried to ask you questions to talk just a little. You had no energy to keep the conversation and pay proper attention to your little sister.
“Let’s go find some seashells?” Tuk didn’t give up on you.
“Tuk, I have no strength to do that. I’m tired.” You felt really bad every time you refused Tuk, but you couldn’t help it.
“Neteyam and Lo’ak are hunting, Kiri as usually disappeared. Mom and dad don’t let me do there alone. Please, I need you.” She started whimpering and shaking your hand.
“Okay, okay. But only for 30 minutes.”
“Thank you, I love you! Best sister ever!” Seeing Tuk jumping in happiness and saying those words warmed your heart. You smiled a little at the scene of here trying to find her little bag for seashells.
Once you went out of your house, you squinted because of the sunlight. These two weeks definitely affected you. The warmth of the sun and brightness of azure water reminds you of how you loved Pandora.
Tuk was holding your hand and trying to hurry you up to the shore. It became her hobby since you arrived here. Each in your family has at least one bracelet she made out of shells.
“I’ll sit here, you can go. Call me if you need help.” You were sitting exactly as that day with Kiri. The feeling of light waves surrounding you, calmed you a little. You were watching Tuk swimming and looking for colorful seashells. Sometimes she was distracted by some fish. As you were supervising little sister, you fell deep into thoughts and remembered that day. Sadness you felt all these days became more explicit.
You don’t know how to explain this sadness and why you feel it. You should be angry, offended, but not sad. Ao’nung said horrible things to you, but you’re not angry. Why?
“Oh Great Mother, help me. Let me come over this. I want to be happy again.” You whispered to yourself, feeling the tear falling to the water.
“Y/N…?”
Him.
You feel nervousness raising up in your body. Eywa must be testing you. You’re afraid to turn your head to Ao’nung.
“Please, don’t do this to me again. I can’t bear it anymore.” Your voice was trembling a little, but it was enough for him to understand your state. Especially, when he finally looked at you. Your eyes were like a glass, but without even a little sparkle.
He was standing about 2 meters away from you to keep distance.
“Y/N, I wanted…”
“What are you doing here?!” Lo’ak was furious, walking briskly towards him.
“Bruh, why are you always here.” You heard Ao’nung mumbling it annoyingly. You didn’t wasn’t really worried about what’s going to happen. Feels like you’re a doll without real emotions.
“You’ve been told you to stay away from Y/N. Are you that yaymak? Do you need us to punch you again to understand it?” Your brother came to him as close as possible and pointed at his chest aggressively. Lo’ak just like Neytiri was ready to fight him.
“I wanted to talk to her… normally.” Ao’nung raised his hands as a sign of peace and tried to stay as calm as possible. Even though his fists were itchy to punch him. “I won’t hurt her”.
“I don’t care. You’ve talked to her already and you see the result. It’s her first time outside since the past two weeks. Don’t make it worse.” Lo’ak lowered his voice so you won’t hear their conversation. You didn’t really care and turned back to keep watching after Tuk. She didn’t notice things happening on the beach, she was involved in her hobby. Her little bag was already full of shells, but she wanted to get more.
“Hey, you finally wanted to get some sun?” In a couple if minutes Lo’ak was sitting next to you. He wasn’t mad anymore.
“No, Tuk asked me to. All of you were too busy to accompany her in finding seashells. I didn’t want to let her down.” You smiled a little, watching your sister smiling as she find another colorful thing.
“But…” you noticed Lo’ak hesitating about something.
“What’s wrong?”
“Never mind. I’m glad you’re finally getting out of Marui. We are forest Na’vis, not Marui Na’vis.” He chuckled a little at his own joke and you couldn’t help but do it too.
Maybe, it’s not that bad.
Thank you, Great Mother.
***
Another two weeks passed. Since that day each member of your family tried to take you outside. Now you go out on your own just to think about your feelings. You are still trying to stay away from water and haven’t swam yet, but you’ve been exploring the little forest that’s actually pretty comfortable. It reminds you of home and you don’t have to hold your breath or ride ilu here.
You can be yourself.
Now you play with fan lizards and even laugh a little. It’s kind of meditation. Spending time in your environment, your home, helps your mental state. Jake says that you shouldn’t go deep into forest and you assure him that you won’t, but sometimes you loose the track of time and forget about your promise. What this happens, Neteyam is always first who goes to find you.
You feel unity with Eywa. It’s your secret, sacred place. You have a little pond here, some fruits growing on the trees and silence. This is your little world free from all worries, free from reality. You fulfill your energy here and nobody interrupts you peace.
You were sitting on the thick branch, involved in making a little bracelet from beads for Tuk. She gifted you a lot of bracelets and necklaces she made. You want to pay her back.
Suddenly your senses catch someone’s presence. Nobody is supposed to find you. It’s afternoon and none of your family should be trying to find you. Leaving all things, you silently stood up and tried to hide behind the tree as Neytiri taught you. You looked behind your shoulder to check who’s that, your knife is ready to serve you.
You heard stranger’s steps coming closer to the tree. You were getting ready to attack, no unnecessary thoughts were in your mind. Just as mom taught you. This is your place, your forest.
Another step and you catch this person, pushing them to a tree and putting a knife to their neck.
“Holy shit!”
You look up. Why is he here?
“Ao’nung? What are you doing here?”
All your strength disappeared the moment you realized who’s standing in front of you. Fear replaced it, slowly taking control over you.
You’re alone, with him.
“No, no, no, Y/N”
You walked back, still holding your knife firmly to protect yourself, but your hands were shaking which made things obvious. You’re just like a little animal who’s afraid but has nothing to do but protect yourself as you can.
“Don’t…”
“Y/N, I wanted to talk to you. Please, let me speak.”
You were afraid to trust him. Because his words hurt you. You’re afraid to hear him speaking to you. But the way he looks at you, his eyes aren’t filled with anger. You take your time, considering his words.
Ao’nung was waiting patiently, he was afraid to do something wrong. Examining your concerned look, he prayed to Eywa for you to trust him. The effort he put to find you and go through this forest without being injured was enormous. Now he understands how hard it is for you to get used to Metkayina’s way of life. He should have thought about it before.
“Don’t come here again.”
And you left, leaving him alone in this forest.
“You are skxawng, Ao’nung.”

- Spoilers ahead, trigger warning for death and a small suicide mention -
My Angst Avatar Way Of Water Headcanons
Tumblr media
I'm sad and you will deal with the consequences
Last time it was languages, now it's the aftermath of Neteyam's death
Neytiri hates humans, she wishes they never came to Pandora in the first place. It keeps her up at night and causes never ending stress, a flurry of 'what ifs' while Jake sleeps soundly next to her. Her father, sister, Tsu'tey, would be in her sleep, blaming her for allowing a demon into her family. Neytiri believes without humans, her friends and family would be breathing and her clan prosperous. She wouldn't have Neteyam lifeless below her.
Jake hates his humanity, he tries so desperately to understand and sympathise with his fellow man, but flashes of Neteyams eyes frantically searching for help before losing their life, his ears relaxing when before they were twitching erratically forces him to be harsh. He will give second chances, after that, anyone who refuses to help the Na'vi is dead to him.
Kiri has images of Grace dying as nightmares, the failed body transfer replaying in her head at heightened points of stress, it's why she relaxes with nature, it let's everything leave. Just Kiri and her two mothers. When Neteyam died, she felt him at the funeral become one with Eywa. She hears his shallow last breaths in her heartbeat, and wishes she could hear his one last time.
Lo'ak can't look at his mother without seeing Neteyam, he tries, he really does. But everything about her reminds him of a brother he feels responsible for letting die. In the water he sees his brother being enveloped into the ocean, forcing Lo'ak to break the surface and cry, screaming and begging for help to save him. Sometimes he tries to drown with Neteyam, to see him again and make for lost time. For those arguments that broke them apart the last few months of his living.
In the early staging of grieving Neteyam, the Sully family sleep in his bed and cry themselves to sleep, hugging each other and begging for a miracle from Eywa. And while Neytiri would never admit it out loud, she began to doubt Eywa in those first few months, she believed that her great mother despised her for the destruction surrounding her and her family. The metkayina clan feels great pain and loss in the stages of grief, hearing their cries at night.
Ao'nung feels guilt about not getting to know the Sully's more, he tries to befriend them now and while they're so welcoming, he feels like he doesn't deserve it for what he did. For all he knows, Lo'ak could've been killed because of him. Even without the what ifs, he notices Neytiri and Jake never look him in the eye, they don't forgive him for what could've happened. It keeps him from speaking to them for too long, because he was responsible for Lo'ak's safety, and he used that against him.
Quaritch begins to have an identity crisis over who he even is. All he knows that even if he isn't Spiders dad, he wants to be better and feels regret for not being there. Although, he's far too deep now. Miles hates him, for good reason, but it stings like a nagging bug biting into his flesh, poisonous thoughts stabbing into him like he was nothing. He knows it's deserved for what he remembers he done, but he isn't that man, and he wants to prove it. Doubts begin spiralling his mind and everybody notices, Neytiri's words of 'a son for a son' kept him sleepless and borderline insane. He could've lost spider that night, would life be better? Would it be worse? He'd never know, and that's the worst part.
Tuktirey sleeps with her parents ever since Neteyam died, never leaving her family's side and hating when they have to split up. She never spent enough time with him before he died, even if it was most of her time, it would never be enough. Tuk asks her mother for Neteyam's necklace, hugging it with her and Jake. After a few months in the family slept separately again, in solitary peace, but every once and a while she'll cry quietly and slip into her mother's arms.
Tsireya feels too guilty to continue a relationship with Lo'ak at first, she can't look at him without feeling like she could've helped in some way. She feels worthless and one day the dam breaks, both her and Lo'ak expressing their true feelings. They bonded over that day and became inseparable ever since, it made things better for most of the Sully family, to have the least willing to move on be helped in such a way that he would have a distraction.
Jake and Neytiri become overbearing and protective over their children, always knowing their location and rushing to find them if they've been gone for too long. It puts pressure on the kids and ends in fights that drift them apart. Of course they work through their issues eventually, but things like this are common when losing children and I don't doubt that the Sully's would have this happen after Neteyam.
Spider is semi accepted into the tribe, however, he wants to go back to the forest. He never outright speaks his thoughts, but everybody can tell, he can't keep up with swimming or holding breath, he's smaller and weaker than Na'vi of his age and is almost useless to their way of life. He wants to go back to the way things were, before humans came back.
Spider regrets saving his dad, he wouldn't tell anybody, ever, and would try hiding all evidence or possibility of them finding out, he doesn't want to lose what he feels is his family. His dad may be 'alive' but deep down he knows it's not actually him, no matter how much more willing the man is to be apart of his life, Spider wishes he could've let him drown.

Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God)
Chapter Eleven
Tumblr media
Rated: M
Warnings: Character Death, Religious talk, Murder
A/N: based a bit on some headcanon ideas i got from watching "American Gods"
Chapter Ten | Chapter Twelve
Tumblr media
Familia. Dad taught you Spanish when you were a baby, a few words when you could not say it in English. In high school you desperately learned it to converse with your father's side of the family. It was hard because you knew formal Spanish, it didn't come out naturally as theirs. His side of the family didn't want anything with you nor him as he had run off to join the military to get away from them. Dad helped you keep up with it until he left. You spoke it when you sang his favorite songs, or talked to yourself giving self comfort.
Jake speaks it so fluently when he spoke to your father back at the diner. Dad rarely spoke Spanish unless he forcefully had to. It was a personal reason he rather not speak it, you never asked why.
He sang in Spanish tonight, you were fighting to stay awake. Childishly but you wanted to see him off to work. It was an old song called Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen, his mother used to sing it when she cleaned. The song is pretty fucking dark but the way dad sings it is always soothing. His fingers brush down your closing eyes, you yawn, turning away trying to fight sleeping. He shushes you as he goes on singing softly until he hears you softly snoring. A warm smile on his old face, he wishes he could stay longer…
He wishes he had more time.
Long ago, after he left your mother and you, he settled in England. It was not his idea and he was going to settle somewhere but close by. But… He settled far away as if instinctively to run away from the pain.
When your mother died at hospital after a fall, he came to the funeral. Watching in the background as the rain poured. And poured. You left with your aunt, your mother's sister. She didn't want him around you.
He understood why.
A person in black, an old coworker approached him long after he returned to England. The same cop you saw Anubis with.
The craziest story told to him. Ammit, a cult obsessed with the scales of a heart, Arthur Harrow. Anubis appeared before, appeared and asked for his help. Your dad had old connections and could get information.
It was a lot… A real fucking lot to believe the nonsense and creature who spoke through the old colleague.
He refused. Willfully too. Then Anubis' avatar explains that your mom was killed by those who worship Ammit and followed Harrow. Her soul was wrongfully sent to the underworld by God she did not worship.
Cairo was not the only place affected by the one most massively affected.
"I only wish to bring those who still seek to continue to spread her veil will to justice."
Every night dad prays to his God to give him strength and forgiveness. The prayers changed when you started living with him. Asking God to protect his kid, the one good choice he made ever in his life. For all his mistakes and blood on his hands, he never wanted to hurt you.
Jake/Marc being named Godfather (rejected the offer) was the first attempt to make sure you were protected.
"Then as a friend: protect her." Spoken in private.
"... Heh, fine, Sergeant" Moon Knight knew nothing about what your dad was doing.
Was.
Anubis told him the risk. The forces up against them in this quest to destroy any remaining traces of Ammit and those who wished to overturn the underworld.
Your dad found the truth, real power behind these false scales. Something worse that he imagined.
Anubis' boon to your father for protection did nothing as the God known as Set. He should've known that trickster chaotic God would be the cause of further turmoil.
Your dad lays in a blood of his own. Gasping for life, Anubis could only remind by his side. Your dad begged the Underworld God not take his soul, to let his God put him to rest.
Anubis has no place to lay judgment upon his souls, other has his soul and Anubis can only hope your father's slumber is peaceful and dreamless.

Forgiveness - THE 100 REWRITE Chapter Seven
[THE 100 MASTERLIST]
Previous Chapter / Next Chapter
Summary: Finn’s was recovering from his wound. In the meantime, Bellamy, Clarke and Michelle had to figure out what to do about the winter coming their way and how to survive through it with the little they had. With the advice of Councilman Kane during a meeting to which Clarke assisted from camp, she, Michelle and a reluctant Bellamy went to an old depot nearby where they would find supplies but they found and saw way more.
Words: 5k
Warnings: The 100 season 1 spoilers (specifically episode 8 “Day Trip”), angst, bad trip, hallucinations, arguments, sarcasm, fall, description of dark and nasty bruises (no blood or broken stuff tho), mention of past suicidal throughts and attempt (no depiction/description of it, very light mention, it would have triggered even me if I wrote such a scene lol), forgiving process
Staring into space, sitting on the ground outside the tent in which they had settled a video chat with the Ark, along the radio put together by Raven, Michelle seemed preoccupied. Clarke was inside, assisting a council meeting and she was on her own, dwelling on her thoughts, having a fight with herself in her own mind. She felt absolutely awful. She missed her mother so much but she still had to deal with the anger that she held towards her, since the day they got her out of her solitary confinement and sedated her to get her on the dropship with the rest of the 100 teenagers they had sent to Earth, less than a couple weeks ago. She wanted to talk to her but her resentment prevented her from letting herself do so. Just like Clarke and her own situation with her mother since she had learned it was her fault that her father was floated, Michelle didn’t want to hear her mom say that she was sorry. She kept this haunting dilemma for herself, not telling about it to Clarke, her only real and close friend in this whole camp. Thinking about her solitude in the camp, which was strangely as painful as when she was in prison despite being surrounded by dozens of people her age, she thought of Murphy for a second, shaking away the mental argument she was having about whether or not talking to her mother. She wondered where he was at now, if he was still alive even. She didn’t know. It was wrong how he got cast out, but she couldn’t do anything about it. Even the boys he had by his sides left. He was alone now, she just hoped he wasn’t in danger. She didn’t hate him like the others did somehow and she didn’t quite understand why, yet they weren’t actually what one would call friends.
Michelle sighed and let her head fall on her knees brought against her chest and after a brief instant, rested her chin on them, biting on the inside of her cheek, staring at the ground. She should share her thoughts with Clarke, not her worry for Murphy’s safety but her anger for her mother. She would understand because she felt the same with her mom, not for the exact same reasons, Michelle’s mother didn’t cause the death of her dad, even though she never ever spoke about the latter and never told her who he was, to this day. This was another of the things that she couldn’t help but think about. She wondered who her dad was. She wondered if they would love each other, be close and how her childhood and life would have been like if he was there. Maybe he wasn’t even dead, but she didn’t understand why her mother would say this if he wasn’t. If he was alive, someone like Clarke’s mother, Abby, who was her mother’s best friend, would have told her about it. She would know. If her mother kept refusing to tell her who her father was, she would ask Abby at some point, hoping she would be honest about it and not lie like she did with Clarke and Jake. The only reason Michelle could think of that would led Abby to lie like she did would be to protect her, but she shouldn’t have to protect her from revealing the identity of her father. If he was dead or whatever, she wouldn’t even try to reach out to him and if he was alive and maybe, didn’t even know about it either, then maybe she could get to know him and so could he, and they could build a relationship. A good relationship hopefully. She needed that. Michelle suddenly snapped out of her thoughts when Clarke walked out of the tent. She stood up and walked along side her childhood best friend.
“Hey, are you okay?” Clarke smiled at Michelle, patting her on the shoulder with her free hand, the other holding a small book. Michelle nodded, crossing her arms, following her across the camp as she called some teen called Dax to go into the tent to talk to his parents.
“How did the meeting go?” Michelle wondered after they sent the boy on his way.
“Kane told me about an old depot not far from her. We could find supplies there to survive through the winter.”
“Good. That’s good.” She nodded, glancing away. Clarke didn’t get her eyes off her friend, noticing something was wrong.
“Mice.” Michelle turned her head to her upon hearing her address her by her childhood nickname. She caught her attention and that was the point in order to know what was going on. “What is it?”
“Uh, I just—” She sighed, scratching her scalp briefly, putting her black hair behind her ear. “I don’t know if         I want to speak to my mom, cause you know, if I don’t I’d rather give the time it’d have taken to the others so they can talk with their parents longer.”
“Well, I’m not the best to tell you that, since I don’t want to talk to my mother either but… I think you should try. Talk to her.” Clarke answered, shrugging.
“Not now.” Michelle let her arms fall by her sides. “I’ll think about it and decide later. I’ll come with you when you go to the depot, that okay with you?”
“Sure. I was going to tell Bellamy about it. Come.” Clarke invited her to come along, and Michelle smiled slightly, following in the footsteps of her friend whom she perceived as a sister for all the time they had known each other. They practically grew up together. They walked up to the dropship and stepped in, lifting the drape at the entrance with their hands. “Bellamy.”
“I’m not talking to Jaha.” He spat out, walking past the two of them.
“Hey. Relax. That’s not why I’m here.” Clarke retorted and he turned around, looking at her, waiting to know what she wanted with him.
“What?”
“The Ark found some records that show a supply depot not far from here.”
“What kind of supplies?” He asked the blonde.
“The kind that give us a chance to live through the winter. I’m gonna go check it out with Michelle. We could use backup.”
“You got your friend, the soldier. Why are you asking me?” He wondered; his hands stuffed in his jacket’s pockets.
“The more the merrier.” Michelle taunted with a straight face, granting her a sidelong look from Bellamy. He wasn’t so much into her sarcasm, but she didn’t care.
“I don’t feel like being around anyone I actually like… this doesn’t apply to her. I couldn’t get her to stay put if she wanted to come along.” She glanced at Michelle and the latter silently laughed. Bellamy took a second to think about it and, pursing his lips for a second, he nodded.
“I’ll get my stuff. Meet you in ten.” The two girls then walked out. Clarke went straight to the tent her and Michelle shared with Raven and Finn, to check and treat his wound while Bellamy got ready to leave with them. Michelle helped others to move tree trunks lying on the ground from one point to another. She wouldn’t have to do it for long, just barely a dozen of minutes but at least others would see her get involved and participate in the chores around the camp. They wouldn’t despise her for not helping around.
After getting sweaty a little, she took a break and walked to the tent where Clarke was tending to Finn’s. As she was walking, she noticed Bellamy packing up some stuff in a backpack. From the distance she couldn’t see what it was so she walked up to him. She wasn’t fond of Bellamy Blake, and he apparently wasn’t, she figured it was mainly because she had kind of been on Murphy’s side when the whole Charlotte situation was going on. But, like Clarke said to him, he was someone they didn’t actually like and she wouldn’t argue that.
“That’s a lot of rations.” She exclaimed as she came up to him, her hands in her old unzipped, military jacket. “We’re only going to be gone for like, a day, tops, you know?”
“A lot can happen in a day.” He retorted, and shoting up her eyebrows, she nodded.
“You ready?” Michelle and Bellamy looked to the side, Clarke was standing nearby, her bag hanging from her shoulder. He closed the box containing all the rations and, throwing the handle of the bag above his head, he looked towards the dropship. Michelle glanced in the same direction and saw Octavia staring at her brother from there. He didn’t look too pleased to have her see him leave the camp. They eventually walked out the campgrounds into the woods, on their way to this depot Kane had told Clarke about during the council meeting earlier.
Tumblr media
“Pretty sure you can’t avoid Jaha forever.” Clarke declared as they walked.
“I can try.”
“Huh? And how are you going to do that when he gets here?” Michelle asked. Of course, as usual when Michelle would herself ask him something, he would ignore her, maybe because of her mocking tone but she didn’t care and didn’t dwell on that and kept moving along. They stopped on top of a hill and looked at a flooded area ahead with a bunch of buildings in ruins with nature having reclaimed its rights.
“The depot’s supposed to be around here.” Clarke watched the ruins, wondering where it was. “Somewhere.”
“There’s gotta be a door.” Bellamy exclaimed, looking around.
“Bellamy.” He glanced at Michelle. “Of course, there’s gotta be a door somewhere. How could we access the depot otherwise, huh, genius?”
“Maybe he’ll be lenient.” Clarke chimed in, changing the subject to avoid Bellamy getting mad at Michelle for her remarks.
“I shot the man, Clarke.” He rose his voice. “He’s not just gonna forgive and forget. Let’s just split up. We’ll cover more ground. Stay withing shouting distance. Michelle, if you go further, I wouldn’t mind.”
“I’ll stay nearby then.” She shrugged with a smirk. All three of them went one way, searching the ground fro some hatch leading to an underground depot. They looked around for a while before Clarke called out to them.
“Bellamy! Michelle! Over here. I found a door.” She told them and they joined her down the hill. She swept a bunch of dried grass to the side to reveal two handles on a metallic door. She grabbed one handle and winced, trying to pull it open but she couldn’t. “I think it’s rusted shut.”
“Watch your foot.” She scooted to the side, and he started hitting on the door with his axe, eventually breaking the lock. “Okay, give me a hand, Clarke.”
“Oh, please.” Michelle mumbled, stepping back, rolling her eyes. She crossed her arms and watched Clarke and Bellamy open the hatch, the rusted hinges of the door squealing as they let it fall down. Clarke then climbed down the stairs, followed by Bellamy and Michelle bringing up the rear. It was dark, there were filthy spider webs all around the place, from the ceiling to the ground. Michelle narrowed her eyes, looking around as they stepped off the stairs and Clarke handed a flashlight to her and Bellamy before grabbing one for herself from inside the bag she held in her hand.
“You think this place hasn’t been touched since the war?” Bellamy wondered.
“A girl can dream.” She replied. “Come on.” They walked around the depot to another set of stairs going deeper underground. Michelle bumped into Bellamy’s back when he and Clarke suddenly slowed down. He glanced at her and as they resumed walking, Michelle saw a decaying corpse lying there on the stairs and she shrugged, sighing.
“Could have told me this is why you stopped, instead of giving me a death stare, Bellamy.” She widened her eyes as qshe followed them down the stairs.
“Hell of a place to die. How do you like it, Michelle?” He retorted and she growled, shaking her head. It wasn’t fun when it wasn’t her saying the sarcastic punchlines.
“So much for living down here. This place is disgusting.” Clarke stated as they walked through dirty shelves covered in spider webs and dust. “Damn it.”
“Anything left down here is ruined.” Bellamy assumed. The depot was in ruins, indeed. It was an absolute wreck.
“They must have distributed most of the supplies before the last bombs went off.”
“Well, if not food or whatever, there must be some things left. You can never take everything or use everything.” Michelle looked at Clarke as they opened crates around the room. The blonde gave her an agreeing and hopeful look, maybe there was some things left somewhere in this dead place.
“Hey, I found blankets.” Clarke exclaimed.
“Excited by a couple of blankets?” Bellamy spat, cracking lighting sticks.
“Well, it’s something.” The blonde argued.
“Well, how about a canteen or a med kit or a decent freaking tent?” He yelled, not thrilled about the blankets she found, kicking in a metal barrel in frustration. Clarke kept looking around and Michelle observed Bellamy, watching him dip his fingers in some liquid filling the barrel wondering what it was but he kicked in the barrel, making it fall over, spilling whatever was in it all over the floor. She stared at him as he walked around it and crounched down, his lamp directed in front of him.
“Oh, my god.”
“What?” Clarke voiced the question Michelle had in mind as she watched Bellamy. She glanced at her friend and the two walked to Bellamy as he picked up a gun soaked in the dirty liquid. He was a little too happy about it and Michelle understood why, they got weapons to defend themselves but she had a comment that came up in her mind.
“Are you eating guns now? Thought you wanted food.” He kept himself from answering and just looked up at her, clearly annoyed. Yeah, maybe her mom had made her somewhat of a smart ass and she almost always had something to say on anything, but she didn’t really care.
Tumblr media
“This changes everything.” He declared, coming back into the room. A small bag in the hand, eating some kind of treats he found, wherever. “Ready to be bad-ass, girls?”
“I’m not gonna fight you on bringing guns to camp.” Clarke retorted, observing one of the guns in her hands. “I know we need them, but don’t expect me to like it.”
“We’re lucky the rifles were packed in grease. The fact they survived means we’re not sitting ducks anymore.” He told her. “You need to learn how to do this.”
“So I just hold it on my shoulder?” Clarke wondered. Michelle watched her rest it on her shoulder in silence, letting Bellamy show her how. She wasn’t the best but thanks to her mom being an officer on the Ark, Michelle had already had the occasion to handle a gun a few times. She knew how to use it already. Clarke was a doctor’s child, she never had handled guns before but she had medical knowledge Michelle or Bellamy or anyone among the 100 had.
“A little higher. Yeah.” There was an awkward silence as Clarke looked through the rifle’s lense, trying to understand how to handle it. “Yeah. Uh—That’s good. Uh, watch and learn.” He went to grab another gun, apparently a little uncomfortable and Michelle had noticed and he knew it so he gave her another death stare so she would shut up this time and she did. He pulled the tigger and there was an empty click sound. He tried again and again, nothing came out of the gun.
“Still watching.” Clarke taunted.
“My bullets are duds. Try yours.” She took a few steps in front of Bellamy and aimed at a cross on a sheet hanging across the room. She shot a bullet through it and widened her eyes as she straightened her head.
“That was amazing.” She said slowly, pressing each word. She turned around a bit, looking at Bellamy and Michelle, both smiling proudly. “Am I horrible for feeling that?”
“Try again.” Bellamy shook his head.
“No, we shouldn’t waste ammunition.” She thought, spping on her feet, facing the two with her.
“You need to practice.” Bellamy insisted.
“He’s right, Clarke. If you wanna know how to handle a gun, you need to practice shooting with one.” Michelle added, getting a silent surprised glance from Bellamy as she backed his argument.
“And we need to talk about how we’re gonna keep guns around camp.” She retorted. “Where are we gonna keep them? Who has access?” Bellamy kind of ignored her questions and brought the rifle above his shoulder after ejecting the dud cartridge from the rifle, automatically chambering a new one in and he shot at the sheet a couple times. “You left Miller in charge of the Grounder. You must trust him.”
“You should keep him close. The others listen to him.” Bellamy softly stated.
“I should keep him close? Bellamy, what’s going on? You’ve been acting weird all day.” Clarke narrowed her eyes.
“Are you going to kill yourself?” Michelle asked in a overly exaggerated and dramatic tone, out of the blue. It seemed to unsettled Bellamy as it was obviously not what led him to be acting up today. She just let this thought leave her lips after it just crossed her mind. Clarke and him both knew she was just being sarcastic and really, behind this taunting of Bellamy and the irony of the remark, Michelle hid some dark memory. Because they had been kept in solitary confinement, even Clarke didn’t know that, her childhood best friend thought and tried to take her own life during this year of imprisonment. She thought that she was to die anyway once she turned 18 and she would rather die by her hand than suffer the death that was being floated. She had seen what happened to the people getting floated. The face of Jake Griffin and him getting sucked out in space was forever on her mind. It wasn’t pretty and it didn’t seem peaceful and she didn’t want to go like that just because she was aware of what Jake wanted to get to the people of the Ark and because she assaulted a couple guards and spat at councilman Kane’s face. Clarke stared at her after she made this joke, not asking anything but Michelle could perceive in her eyes that she felt something was off with her too. The blonde sighed and her gaze shifted to the bag Bellamy put on the floor. The same bag in which earlier this day, he filled with rations.
“All the rations you took… You’re gonna run.” Clarke concluded. “That’s why you agreed to come with me. You were gonna load up and disappear.”
“I don’t have a choice.” He argued. “The Ark will be here soon.”
“Right, as if you were going to left Octavia.” Michelle added.
“Octavia hates me. She’ll be fine.”
“You don’t know—” He cut off Clarke.
“I shot the Chancellor.” Bellamy frowned, raising his voice. “They’re gonna kill me, Clarke. Best-case scenario, they lock me up with a Grounder and there is no way in hell I’m giving Jaha the satisfaction. Keep practicing with Michelle. I need some air.”
“Okay, which of us made him mad?” Michelle shot up her brows, crossing her arms over her chest. Clarke brought her eyes on her, more concerned about why Bellamy was behaving like this than annoyed at her friend’s sarcasm. It was kind of like with Murphy, it was funny, some of the times, most of the times it was annoying and really just funny for the one saying it which was sort of the purpose of it.
“Michelle, uh, take a gun just in case and go search the rest of the depot. Maybe there is something else.”
“Sure thing, Clarke.” Michelle did so, grabbed one of the semi-automatic riffle on top of the barrel and walked past the sheet hanging across the doorway. Dragging her feet on the floor, she took a turn and walked down a dark hallway, her flashlight in her hand. She accidentally got some spiderweb on her face and was grossed out by it, wiping it off her skin.
“That’s gross.” She blinked, wincing and rubbing her skin and growled softly. She sighed and kept walking. For some reason as she walked down the corridor, she felt a little bit dizzy and like the walls were crumbling over her, turning upside down. She suddenly panicked, throwing herself on the walls, calling out to Clarke and Bellamy, screaming their names. “It’s falling apart! Guys! Clarke! Clarke?!” She fell to the floor and before she opened her eyes and straightened up, she felt a hand on her shoulder.
“Stand up.” She was suddenly pulled back on her feet and she stumbled a little. She looked around and there was no one with her, her flashlight and gun were laying on the floor and the walls were holding on just fine. She cuped her face in the palms of her hands and crouched down to grab her flashlight and rifle and she took a few steps down the hallway. She took left and hit a corner with the gun, lost her balance and fell down a set of stairs. Her eyes closed shut, she winced in pain, widening her mouth like the grunting was stuck in her throat and she coughed trying to express her pain. She didn’t dare to move, her back aching as she had never felt before. It was like she couldn’t move, even if she wanted. The steps were made out of metal and hit hard on her back as she fell down the stairs.
“Clarke. Bellamy.” She articulated, trying to raise her voice.  She felt herself slip away but she opened her eyes suddenly and looked down at her body, not understanding how come she was now standing up in the council room on the Ark. Her first thought was that she hallucinated going to Earth and she was still on the station, up, in space.
“You can’t be in here.” She turned around upon hearing the voice of councilman Kane rising across the meeting table in the middle of the room.
“I didn’t do anything.” She immidietaly retorted, getting defensive. “I don’t regret spitting in your face and I’d do it again.”
“Get out.” In the matter of a second, he was standing right in front of her and held her by the arm, fairly firmly but there was a strange feeling of him somehow concerned for her. She was lost and confused. She tried to struggle against his grip but it felt like her whole body from her fingers to her toes were paralyzed. She couldn’t move an inch and he was staring into her eyes. She closed her eyes. Her ears were ringing so loud she couldn’t hear anything around her in the room.
“Mom!” She cried out, yelling and her ears stopped ringing and she heard Clarke talking behind her.
“Michelle. Michelle. Calm down.” Michelle rolled her head, looking around and realized she wasn’t in the depot, or on the Ark either. There were certainly not Kane or anyone else but Clarke and Bellamy sitting on leaves as she was lying down. She sniffed and felt the tears on her face. She had hallucinated what just happened, but her crying was real and when she glanced at her peers, even Bellamy seemed worried, seeing her in this state of distress and pain. Pain. The pain violently hit when she tried to sit up, she let a high-pitched cry out and curled up.
“Stay still.” Bellamy crounched next to her and held her shoulder. “Clarke tried to look at your back, but we couldn’t get a hold of you. It’s okay.” He talked to her softly so she would calm down her quickening breath and not be scared as Clarke looked at her back.
“I need more light.” Clarke breathed out. “Bellamy, give me the flashlight.”
“Here.” He handed her the flashlight and after she lifted Michelle’s jacket and T-shirt, she directed it at her back and went silent for a moment. Michelle was rolling her eyes around, frowning in worry, not knowing how bad it was and why she or Bellamy wasn’t saying anything.
“Does it look as bad as it hurts?” Michelle asked, scoffing anxiously.
“You have some big and dark bruises on your back. I need to touch your back, okay? I have to see if there’s any internal damage, okay?” She warned her and had Bellamy held up the light at her back as Clarke held her jacket and shirt off her skin and gently touched around the bruises. Michelle grunted and whined in pain, clenching her jaw and fist, digging her nails into her palm, holding her breath until Clarke stopped and she gasped for air, the side of her face on the leaves carpeting the ground. “Good news is, I think you were lucky. I didn’t feel anything unusual. I think it didn’t damage your spine. I think it looks and feels worse than there is damage.”
“What’s the bad news then?” Michelle mumbled.
“The bad news is I have to do a makeshift splint to support your back so it doesn’t worsen, while we get back to camp. Bellamy, help me to sit her up.” She felt Bellamy’s hands along with Clarke’s turn her around and gently put her in a sitting position. She clenched her teeth, loudly breathing out because of the pain. “Stretch your arms towards us, as much as you can. Okay, perfect, stay still.” She had her jacket slide down her arms, as softly as possible and the blonde stopped for a second when she thought she had seen something on her skin. She stared at her arm in silence before helping Michelle to raise her arms so she could pull her shirt up and clear her torso to make the splint. With her shirt resting around her neck, and only her bra, she shivered at the breeze licking her injured skin. Clarke put a flat metal bar along her spine. It was cold. So cold that it felt quite good against her burning and bruised back. Bellamy kept the bar against her back with his hand while Clarke tear pieces of a sheet they got back in the depot and put one right below her bra, tying it tightly in the back and another at her waistline. It was no picnic, but they couldn't leave her back with nothing to support it or it would, this time, cause internal injuries and maybe even internal bleeding, meaning she would die in a matter of hours if not minutes.
Tumblr media
“Hold onto me.” Clarke whispered, her arm around Michelle to help her as she rested hers on Clarke’s shoulder. Walking along the two of them, Bellamy was carrying everything they had recovered from the depot, gathered together in a sort of bundle. They heard chattered growing louder, coming from the camp, as they approached the walls and walked onto camp grounds.
“The Grounder is gone!” They heard somebody yell from the dropship.
“What if he brings other Grounders back?” Jasper inquired.
“They’ll kill us all.” One said, panicked about this whole situation.
“Or worse.” Another added.
“Let the Grounders come.” Bellamy declared as he, Clarke and a crippled Michelle stepped in. “We’ve been afraid of them for too long. Why ? Because of their knives and spears. I don’t know about you… but I’m tired of being afraid.” He glanced at Clarke and they put the guns on the ground for everyone to see.
“These are weapons, okay? Not toys.” Clarke spoke up. “We have to be prepared to give them up to the guard when the ships come. But until then, they’re gonna help us keep us safe.”
“There are more where these came from. Tomorrow we start training.” Bellamy continued. “And if the Grounders come… we’re gonna be ready to fight.”
Clarke then led Michelle inside the dropship and lied her down on the table they used when Finn was on the verge of death, a poisoned knife into his chest. The blonde sat her on the table and took a look at her back.
“Does it hurt more when you move?”
“No, it hurts the same whether I move or not.” Michelle replied.
“Okay, that’s a good thing. It means none of your vertebras were broken in the fall.” Clarke smiled at her to reassure her. “Is there any numbness?”
“Uh, no. I can feel it pretty bad.” She scoffed and winced as it triggered her back pain.
“Okay, so it confirms that there isn’t any broken bones and the spinal cord and the nerves are fine…” She nodded and went to look for something and came back to Michelle. “I’m going to take off the makeshift splint and ice your back with a cold compress. You’ll keep it for tonight and I’ll check on you tomorrow morning, okay?”
“Sounds like I’m going to have a hell of a night to me.” Michelle joked. She glanced away and brought her gaze back on her friend. “Uh, Clarke… I’m going to talk to my mom tomorrow, ro like, when I feel better but uh… if you talk to the Ark, can you tell Kane to tell my mom I’ll talk to her, that I’m fine, everything’s fine, I just needed rest and couldn’t speak to her? I don’t want to let her think I hate her.”
“Of course, Michelle. I’ll have that messaged given to Jaha so he can tell Kane, and therefore, Callie. Now, you need to lie down and try and get some sleep, okay?” Michelle nodded as she hopped off the table with Clarke’s help and walked to a mattress against the wall and sat down, looking at her friend, walking out of the dropship as she lied down on her side, the cold compress already helping with the pain she felt in her back. Tomorrow would be another day.

MASTERLIST
Tumblr media
Bella Swan was swarmed.
Usually she was the one being the mother hen when it came to family. She had to be so with her own mother, and had all her life. Then she'd met Edward Cullen and suddenly the little problems she ever brought to the table became so many they were impossible to count. Especially after Edward had left Bella in the woods where she'd almost died, surviving only to become comatose and then self destructive until he came back, things had really made a full 180. Now, even as a vampire and with a daughter of her own, Bella's sister Y/n was still in the habit of worrying too much and hovering too often.
Edward was the one who appreciated it the most. Y/n had been Bella's shadow before this whole thing. A year younger, Y/n had depended on Bella for everything until the two girls had moved to Forks together and Y/n and Bella swapped places almost immediately. Jacob Black and Y/n had spent lots of time together. Y/n had gotten her license as soon as possible and visited him often, as she preferred the rez and the beach and Jacob and his friends over Forks High and the kids there. Specifically, she liked Embry Call more than anything... even if she refused to admit it. Then Embry had left and Jacob and Y/n had really bonded through it. When he'd left too, Y/n had turned to school and made friends there.
It didn't stop her from coming back when Embry imprinted on her, but it did teach her independence. She had a life outside of Bella, and had gotten far too used to her sister depending on her instead to fill the void Edward had left. He came back eventually, but with Y/n being the only one other human Bella really trusted who knew what was going on, Bella still clung to her younger sister in a way that reminisced exactly how Y/n used to cling to her. The relationship had gotten rocky when Bella had married Edward and gotten pregnant, but Y/n could see that Bella wouldn't be convinced and needed someone to support her over someone trying to save her life. So Edward and Y/n made an agreement: Edward would protect her and Y/n would support her and together they'd do their best to keep her alive and happy.
The habit still hadn't died even when Bella needed neither comfort nor protection.
This resulted in Y/n hovering around Bella- even when it meant she was in the middle of serious danger. Which let Embry Call about to blow his top.
"Are you insane? You're going to get yourself killed!"
"She's my sister Embry!"
"She's a vampire! She can take care of herself! It's not your job anymore."
Y/n grunted in frustration, looking like she was about to deck him across the face. Not that she would- it would cause her far much more pain, and the thought of acting in violence against her boyfriend was a strict no for her, even if it wouldn't hurt him. "What if she dies, Em? What am I supposed to do?"
"Mourn her with the rest of us." She went to yell again but Embry put his hand over her mouth. "Do you remember when my alpha told me to kill her and you begged me not to and I left Sam's pack because he was compelling me so much that I couldn't decide which to do? Remember when it almost destroyed me before Jake stepped in and suggested I join his pack just so I wouldn't lose my mind?" Y/n stopped, her mouth shutting closed. "I understand how much she means to you, because you have never since or before then put me in such a situation as that. Not unless it comes to her. I know how much she means to you and how much we all mean to you. We're as important to you as those bloodsuckers are important to your sister." He paused, his eyebrows coming together. "As the Cullens are to your sister." Y/n smiled weakly. With all his exposure to the Cullens and their friends he'd finally learned to be cordial with them, even though it went against his very nature. Y/n appreciated all he'd been doing for her. She knew what it was like to care about someone who threw themself in front of danger at every chance. Bella was her sister after all.
"I'm sorry Em I just..." Her eyes watered.
Embry pulled her into his arms. "Just promise me you won't be there. Promise me you'll stay at the Cullens' house like we planned and just worry and not do anything about it."
Y/n stayed quiet for a long time, but she finally nodded. "Yeah okay." She leaned away, her hands resting on his arms as she looked into his eyes. "Just promise me that... that you'll come back. Even if you can't promise me anyone else." Embry went to reason with her but it was her turn to cover his mouth. "I might lose my sister, Embry. I don't know what I'll tell my dad. I might lose my family. The other wolves, and even the Cullens who have... slowly become important to me as well, even if they all put my sister through hell and back." She closed her eyes, shaking her head. "Not true," she reminds herself. She knew that they were trying their best to keep her safe. She knew what had happened last time Edward had tried to cut himself out of Bella's life. She knew how much Rosalie had vouched for Bella to stay human and away from them. She knew how good Alice and Emmet were to her. How good Carlisle and Esme were to her. How much Edward had changed even to be his best self for her. After Y/n had lost her mind on him, cussing him out for all he'd done, he'd crumbled and gone off on a rant about how much he didn't deserve Bella, begging for one way to leave her without destroying them both. It had woken Y/n up to how much Edward genuinely cared about her sister, and the two had become very good friends over it. The Cullens meant well, even if Bella was an idiot. "Just-" she looked at Embry. "Promise me that I won't lose ou too, at the very least."
Embry rose a hand to brush his thumb along her jaw. "I really will try my best, Y/n. But..." He sighed, growing sad. "I won't promise you that I won't get in there if my pack needs me. If one of the Cullens needs me even. If it comes down to me or Bella, I might not be able to resist doing something." He shrugged. "I know how much she means to you."
Y/n pulled him closer, her expression intense. "I know you're a hero, Em. I know you want everyone to make it out and that it drives you to be reckless. I know it because you and Jake are similar like that, and he almost got himself killed protecting Leah in the last battle." She chuckled, shaking her head again. "I'm just saying, please keep in mind that you matter to me just as much as Bella does. Yeah?"
There was a softness to Embry at hearing her words that was rare but... beautiful. "Yeah."
"I love you, Embry Call. And you can be as protective as you want, but don't for a second think that I won't be just as much toward you."
Embry gently took her face in his hands, pulling her into a kiss. "I love you too," he whispered when they broke away. Their foreheads rested together for a second before he added, "So you'll stay safe and at home then?"
"Not a chance," Y/n joked.
Embry moved his hands to her side, ticking her instantly. She squealed and he grinned. "Promise!"
"Embry stop!" She screamed."
"Promise!" He repeated.
"Okay okay!" She relented. He paused, letting her catch her breath. "I promise."
He smiled. "Good."
Even though he didn't make a promise, it turns out there was no fighting. Alice pulled through and scared off the Volturi... somehow. And everyone came home alive and safe. Even Y/n, who nearly cried when she saw them all in tact and coming home again.
I guess you could say they all lived happily ever after. The end.

Leopardfoot AU Post #2 Electric Boogaloo
Since my post yesterday got a lot of likes, here is part 2 of it with more info.
Tiny is taken in by Thunderclan after Leopardfoot and Tigerpaw find him. Leopardfoot becomes his foster mum until he is an apprentice, which is when Sunstar takes up his training. Despite initial dislike for the newly named Whitepaw, due to what his father did, Tigerstripe eventually warms up and becomes a great friend of Whitefoot in the future
Leopardfoot is visited by Doestar the night after she is given Tigerpaw. Ofc, Doestar gives her the message she gave Pinestar and as you can imagine, Leopardfoot ain’t having it, telling Doestar and even Starclan to go screw themselves and she trains young Tigerpaw in a way that his prophecy still doesn’t happen
During one of their training sessions, Leopardfoot accidentally claws Tigerpaw, causing him to have that cut in his ear. Leopardfoot is horrorfied at what she did and begins to question if she is the right mentor for Tigerpaw. Before she heads to Sunstar, Bluefur spots her and stops her, telling her that she is Tigerpaw’s mentor and one mistake does not mean he’ll be scared. Tigerpaw understands that it was an accident and so Leopardfoot decides to continue mentoring him.
Thistleclaw continues to try to get close to Tigerpaw, but Leopardfoot keeps on hissing at him whenever he tries it, so he takes Tigerpaw to be trained in the Dark Forest. But when Thistleclaw reveals what they’re doing, Tigerpaw is ”Fuck this shit, I’m out!” and leaves, causing Thistleclaw to howl with rage and irritation at the stubborness of this one cat.
Tigerpaw tells Leopardfoot about what Thistleclaw and Leopard decides to tell Thistleclaw about her vision and the prophecy Goosefeather had told her. Tigerpaw is initially horrified at this news. After all, Thistleclaw was basically his foster dad. He hardens however and decides to oppose any idea Thistleclaw has no matter what.
At Tigerpaw’s First gathering, he meets an ambitious dark brown tabby tom from Shadowclan named Brokenpaw. While initially interested in what that cat has to say, he eventually leaves him when Brokenpaw is talking about his plan to seize power by any means necessary, due to his mother teaching him to avoid power and not actively seek it out.
Sometime after the Gathering, Leopardfoot is able to find Jake on a lone hunting patrol. Jake asks who she is, complimenting her on her radiant beauty. Leopard raises a brow at him in confusion and tells him her name before asking what his name is. Jake is stunned to hear the name Leopard and says “Pine will be ecstatic to hear this news!” Leopardfoot thinks it’s an odd name for a kittypet before realizing who Pine really is. She demands Jake take her to where he is, anger and fire in her eyes, and Jake agrees to take her. They reach Pine’s home and Jake says bye to her. Leopardfoot initially thinks about letting Pine have it but decides it wouldn’t be fair unless she brought Tigerpaw along as well, so Pine could see how much he hurt both of them.
The next day, the two had to the Fence and confront Pine and they let him have it! Leopardfoot tells him about the pain of raising a single kit without her mate after two other kits of her died from the same litter, how the clan stares at her in pity and curiosity, wondering if she’ll do the same thing Pinestar did, how Leopardfoot had to raise Tigerkit through her depressive state all alone with practically no support other than her son and then, quietly, she growls in his ear “and how dare you leave us because of a stupid prophecy from Starclan!” Then she growls about how he got what he wanted and hopes it was worth it.
Pine is about to respond, tear streaming down his face and the most apologetic and heartbroken look on his face ever but Tigerpaw interrupts him, talking about how hard it is for him to grow up in a clan that sees him as nothing more than a future kittypet, talking about how badly his life has been. Each statement sending the dagger into Pine’s heart much deeper until finally he breaks down and begs for forgiveness, saying he knows he did wrong and would do anything to change it, but Leopardfoot decides to let him wallow in his sorrow, too pissed at him to accept any apology from her coward of a former mate. Tigerpaw agrees and they both leave Pine, forcing him to look at what he did and cry about it on his lonesome.
A moon later, Leopardfoot, Tigerpaw, Thistleclaw, and Bluefur, are patrolling the Border near Twolegplace, when they’re suddenly attacked by a Shadowclan patrol. A few cats has Leopardfoot pinned and is about to seriously hurt her when a reddish-brown blur knocks into one of them, causing the cat to flee. The blur turns out to be Pine who fights the Shadowclan cats off as Tigerpaw battles his way to them.
Eventually, the Shadowclan cats are stopped and run and the TC patrol is about to celebrate until they look at Pine, who is bleeding profusely with scratches criss-crossing his pelt. He simply says to Leopardfoot “I know what I did can never be forgiven...but I hope you’ll remember me, love.” before passing on. Leopardfoot and Tigerpaw looks at his dead body and don’t know what to say, allowing Bluefur to say “Maybe he wasn’t such a coward after all...” The patrol nods in agreement with her and bury him his grave before leaving.
Leopardfoot and Tigerpaw constantly play with one another in private to keep up that familial bond. Whitepaw(Storm) is able to see one of these sessions and is stunned to see the two being so happy with one another, with the two chasing one another and playing tag and whenever Leopard captures her son, she gives him a tickle torture, causing Tigerpaw to squeal with laughter.
After this play session ends, White talks to Tiger about it, who is embarrassed and begs White to not tell anyone. He says he’ll think about it, on the condition that he is able to join one of them. Tigerpaw reluctantly agrees and brings Whitepaw along to his next play session. It’s a really great time between the biological and foster family.
When Tigerpaw gets his warrior name, it is the proudest day of his and Leopardfoot’s life. Doestar hisses in Leopardfoot’s ear “What have you done?!” but she ignores the Starclan cat, instead being proud of her boy.
When Tawnyspots retires, The clan is split into three camps for the next deputy, The more aggressive cats favor Thistleclaw, the much softer cats favor Bluefur, and the cats who are a mix of both but don’t want either favor Leopardfoot.
Initially, it looks like Bluefur may be Sunstar’s choice but she rejects the idea of being deputy after realizing that there will be plenty of cats skeptical of her and won’t support her if she does,so she instead endorses Leopardfoot, who does indeed become Deputy, to the chagrin of Thistleclaw.
From there forward, Apprentices from every clan call her the “Hottest Clan Deputy” as a running joke, though Thunderclan apprentices get smacked upside the head if they dare say it out loud near her. When she hears other clan apprentices say it, she rolls her eyes and ignores them, knowing it’s a simple apprentice game that they’ll soon grow out of.
When Leopardfoot becomes Pregnant, Tigerstripe almost attacks Thistle out of rage for using his mother but Blue, Whitestorm, Whitefoot, Sunstar, Honeyclaw, and Leopardfoot talk him out of it. Still, he makes Thistleclaw have a living hell for a while, as Tiger is overprotective of his mother.
When Leopard’s second litter is born, Tiger is proud to be their older brother and takes up the role with pleasure.
While Leopardfoot is in the nursery caring for her second litter, she and Sunstar grow quite close, as they do small hunting patrols and avoid border patrols. As the kits become weaned, the two get even closer as they play in a field near Thunderclan camp where Sunstar talks about everything in his life and Leopardfoot says that she thought she would never find happiness again. The two admit their feelings for one another then and there but a few weeks later, Sunstar loses his final life due to green cough.
With her second litter now apprentices, Leopardfoot heads to the Moonstone and receives her nine lives, becoming Leopardstar.
She initially thinks about making White Eye her deputy but the she-cat refuses the position, thus Bluefur is chosen.
Just because she’s leader doesn’t mean she’ll not partake in gossip though and she gossips a lot with Honeyclaw, who has a lot of dirt on her son, especially on his motion of the ocean ;)
Leopardstar constantly teases her son about this which embarrasses him to no end. He confronts Honeyclaw as to why she told his mother all that and how he’ll never forgive her. Honeyclaw says that he will, which causes Tigerstripe to question as to how come. Honeycaw simply brushes her tail around his neck, bat her eyes, and say “Because you love me.” which causes Tiger to get flustered, making Honey laugh heartily.
Rusty still arrives in Thunderclan but with a new prophecy. “Fire will sweep our clan”. She gives Firepaw to Thistleclaw after a short and successful with the cocky Runningfang(wind), the former apprentice of Redfang(tail), who was the apprentice of Thistle.
Thistle brutally trains Firepaw and turns him into a fierce warrior with little to no morals in achieving his goals. Firepaw is named Firefang.
Thistle winds up dead and it is revealed that Redfang, Runningfang, and Firefang all killed him so no one could get in their way.
Firefang and his followers, along with a very hostile Brackenclaw(fur) who was trained under Firefang, and Sandstorm, leave Thunderclan after Fire attempts a coup, a few moons after Bluefur’s death in a battle against Riverclan. Tigerstripe was appointed as the deputy after her. Firestar’s deputy is Redfang, who refuses to take up the star name if Firestar dies.
Upon becoming deputy, Leopardstar decides to tell Tigerstripe of the destiny he was supposed to have and how it has changed. Tigerstripe is initially shocked at the news that Starclan dare try and have him killed because of an uncertain future. Leopardstar then says “However, you proved them wrong, Tigey. You always prove everyone wrong.” Tiger smiles widely at her and replies with “Because of you.” and the to hug it out, as mother and son.
An alternative bloodclan arrives in the forest and nearly takes over after killing Firestar of Shadowclan, who aligned with Windclan to form Waterclan, while the two Leopardstar’s merged their clans to form Waterclan, a jab at Fireclan’s name. Firestar dies nine times and all of his followers, except Sandstorm, are killed in the battle. Applefur becomes the next leader of Shadowclan and makes Tangleburr her deputy.
Thunderclan’s Leopardstar survives the battle as well as Riverclan’s while Deadfoot and Tallstar are also killed in the battle, replaced by Onewhisker and Mudstar respectfully.
Thunderclan’s Leopardstar survives to a moon or two after the clans have settled down at the lake, thanking everyone for her wonderful life and wishing Tigerstripe the best of luck in his leadership.
Tigerstripe and Honeyclaw’s third litter has a single black tabby she-kit, who is named Leopardkit in honor of Thunderclan’s most important leader.
Tigerstripe heads to the moonstone and gets his nine lives from Leopardstar, Pine, Bluefur, Whitefoot (who died in the battle against the alt bloodclan), Mistkit, Nightkit, Doestar (who congratulates Tiger on going against his former destiny and creating a new one),Lionheart (who was killed by Firefang in a desperate bid to get closer to power), and Goosefeather.
The Newly christened Tigerstar returns to Thunderclan, appointing Whitestorm as his deputy and declaring that Thunderclan will continue the progress made by Leopardstar as they go to the future under him.
This is all I got now. What do ya’ll think? (Likes, Reblogs, and Comments appreciated)

The catalysts stood staring at the portal, hearts racing with hope as they watched the swirling portal, crackling with electricity. The air hung heavy with anticipation, no more fighting, struggling to survive, they made it and found their way home. “Let’s do this together.” Coral said, turning back to face her friends. “This is it. Together, we’ve faced dangers none of us could even dream of. If you guys are by my side, there’s nothing we can’t overcome.”
“Compared to some of the things we’ve seen, a purple death vortex is a cakewalk.” Craig proclaimed.
“I’m with you Coral! All the way!” Grace replied
One by one, each of the catalysts, friends stepped forward joining Coral on the catwalk.
“So Varyyn, after we’re through, take the heart and get outta here.” Diego said, his voice breaking with emotion at the thought of having to leave Varyyn behind. “Don’t get caught, okay? I wouldn’t be able to forgive myself.”
“You would not be able to know either way.” Varyyn replied.
“—I’d know. Somehow I’d know.” Diego answered, a tear streaking down his cheek.
Varyyn’s lip trembled, seeming to hold back his own tears. He pulled Diego into his arms embracing him, his lips meeting Diego’s one final time. “I will wait for you, Diego.”
“For a million years?”
“For eternity.” Varyyn promised. “Goodbye my friends. It was the greatest honor of my life to know you.”
“Can we please move this along? The radiation cannot be good for our health!” Aleister grumbled, irritated and anxious to return home to Hartfeld and get away from this blasted island of death, away from his father.
“You ready Princess?” Jake asked with his familiar smirk, though Coral could see the nerves he was trying to disguise.
Coral took a step towards Sean, slipping her smaller hand into his larger one. Ready or not here we go. Her heart pounded in her chest hoping they made it through before being detected.
“I know I look like a tough guy, but a moment ago, I was scared witless.” Sean said gazing down at her.
“Really?” Coral questioned gently squeezing Sean’s hand.
“Really. And somehow, the moment your hand touches mine, all of that evaporates.” He replied. “Coral? Let’s go home.”
The twelve of them encircled the portal sphere. “Everybody, together. One—” Coral said, her breath caught in her throat, they nearly made it, they were finally returning home. “two—” She squeezed Sean’s hand. “three.”
They stepped forward into the light simultaneously. They felt their bodies stretch, shrink, dissolve and reconstitute, as they transmitted across dimensions, falling through the quantum foam. They held hands tighter, refusing to let go of one another.
“Whoaaaaaa!” Shouted Raj.
“Yaaaaaaah!” Craig screamed.
“Aaaaaaaah!” Michelle shrieked.
Finally, they felt something solid underfoot. “Do you feel that?” Coral questioned, both excited and afraid to open her eyes. Home, we’re home. It worked, we actually made it.
“I think we landed somewhere.” Zahara answered.
“I still can’t see.” Diego replied.
Coral winced against the blinding light as she opened her eyes.
“We made it! We really made it!” Grace exclaimed excitedly.
Gradually the haze faded. Silence hung heavy in the air despite the sun hanging high in the sky.
They stood in the middle of the roof staring out across the buildings. The sun hung high in the sky marking the middle of the day, yet a silence filled the air.
“What? What happened?” Quinn questioned. What went wrong?
The campus stretched out in front of them, everything quiet as if everyone vanished at once, the stench of death hung in the air. Familiar buildings stretched before them. Bare trees, and cool crisp New England winter air showing how long they’d been gone. It’s winter? It was just summer. The world appearing both familiar and unfamiliar at once. The realization of how much they missed, how long they’d been gone, how much had changed settled around them heavy in the air.
“Dammit, Z! You got the coordinates wrong!” Craig exclaimed in frustration, kicking a stray rock across the roof.
“I didn’t! I wouldn’t make that dumb a mistake!” Zahara denied with the air of indignation at the accusation.
“Then where the hell are we?” Michelle asked, her voice laced with confusion and annoyance.
Coral covered her nose and mouth with her hand, trying to lessen the stench she breathed in as she drew her gaze over the familiar surrounding, eyes squinting in the midday sun. “The gate worked—” Coral said, choking on the sickly sweet smell of rotting flesh. “We’re home.”
They stared out at the campus, the silence of the normally busy square was deafening. Not a living soul in sight, they felt their hearts sink, each thinking the same thing; what happened? Where is everyone? Tension hung heavy around them as they scanned the horizon for some sign of human life or what had caused everyone to abandon the once busy campus they had all called home.
Sean silently watched the stillness, his face creased with pain. “Yea, it’s Hartfeld.” He replied, voice cracking with emotion.
“Nah, man… No way!” Raj replied incredulously.
“Yeah, last I remember there were fucking people! It wasn’t a fucking wasteland that smelled like death.” Craig angrily rebutted.
“I don’t understand. What happened?” Quinn questioned, her usually bubbly personality subdued as she tried to wrap her head around their surroundings.
“Surely this must be the distant future. It must be.” Aleister offered, refusing to believe this was their reality.
Coral slowly spun around, every corner silent, empty and oddly still. What caused this? She couldn’t think of anything that would cause a mass evacuation and leave the stench they were surrounded by.
“What the hell are we supposed to do here?” Michelle questioned the group.
This was all they wanted, to get home—but this wasn’t the home they left, the home they were trying to return to. Could they even return to La Huerta? Would that be the better option than staying?
“We have to look for survivors.” Coral replied, her stomach twisted in knots as she hoped that someone survived, that they could get answers. They can’t all be gone, right?
“Coral’s right. People could be hiding from whatever caused this.” Grace answered gesturing at the empty quad.
“I wouldn’t bet on it.” Jake replied grimly.
“Well sorry if I don’t take your word for it, Jake. Come on!” Sean countered, annoyed at the pilots pessimism.
They carefully descended the building’s creaking fire escape down to street level. Belongings left behind, cars abandoned with doors left wide open. The twelve look around trying to decipher what they were seeing, trying to piece together what could have caused Hartfeld to be seemingly abandoned. What could have been so bad that everyone would simply leave?
“Okay, let's look around. But be careful, okay?” Coral suggested.
The friends carefully maneuvered the desolate street, looking around, looking for clues as to what happened. Stray leaves swirled around them in the breeze fluttering in the wind. Sean suddenly paused, breaking off from Coral, heading down the vacant street.
“Where is he going?” Michelle asked.
Coral shook her head, breaking from the group, following after Sean. She followed him into an abandoned building, mailboxes in the entryway hanging open, everything as eerily quiet as outside. She climbed the staircase up to the second floor, following his path. She paused when she saw him standing in the open doorway, staring into the empty apartment. “Sean? What are we doing here?” She asked stepping closer, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder.
“This is my mom’s place. Was. Was my mom’s place.” Sean replied with a shake of his head. I should have been here for her.
“Oh… Sean.” Coral answered softly.
“After we finally managed to get away from my dad, she wanted to stay close to me. I wanted her close.” Sean said stepping further into the living room looking around sadly. “She got this apartment when I was a freshman. Closest building to Hartfeld stadium.” He walked up to a cracked photo frame, hanging askew on the wall. He picked it up, looking at it sadly. A photograph of a young Sean, beaming after winning a peewee football game stared up at him. Hugging him are a proud mother and father. “I always hated that she kept this photo up. She still loved him after everything. After everything that bastard did to us, she still loved him.” Sean whispered sadly. “At least…she loved the old him. But that man was dead.” Sean slumped down clutching the frame. He blinked, welling tears forced out.
Coral sat next to him, grasping his hand in hers. “I wasn’t here, Coral. I told her I’d always protect her, and I wasn’t here—”
“It’s not your fault, Sean.” Coral replied leaning her head against his shoulder and squeezing his hand.
“That’s all I was ever good at, you know? Taking punishment so someone I care about doesn’t have to.” Sean said sadly. “And for my mom, for the person that mattered most… I couldn’t even do that.” His head dropped in shame. I shouldn’t have left, maybe I could have saved her.
“Sean, we’ll fix this.” Coral replied, voice strong and sure. She had to fix this, for everyone, for Sean. They had no choice but to find out what happened and fix it.
“You say that with such certainty… I don’t know how you do it.” Sean said looking up at her, letting out a laugh. “Only you could make me look at the end of the world and think ‘Yeah, this is fixable.’” He sighed shaking his head. “It seems completely nuts. But I look at you… and I believe it.”
“I believe in us.” Coral replied, standing up, offering Sean her hand. “Come on Heisman. The world needs saving.”
Sean took Coral’s hand following her out to their friends. They stopped in their tracks when they saw Raj falling apart in front of them. Nothing gets to Raj.
Raj paced, his hands thrown up in the air, as he ranted to himself. “This can’t be happening. It can’t be happening. It’s a nightmare. I can’t deal with this. I can’t!”
“Uh, Coral? I think we finally broke Raj.” Zahara stated gesturing to their fun loving friend mid panic.
Coral walked over to Raj. He ran his hands forcefully through his hair, eyes wide and almost wild. Coral wrapped him into her arms. He suddenly stopped moving, freezing as her arms came around him. “I— I—” He stuttered, unable to complete his thought.
“We’re here, Raj. We’re here with you.” Coral stated reassuringly.
“Okay. I’m okay. I’m good now. Thanks, Coral.” Raj replied exhaling. He wrapped his arms around Coral, returning the hug. “You’re a pretty good hugger by the way.”
“You too big guy.” Coral answered, breaking from the hug with a final pat on her friends back.
The twelve turned, heading back to the dorms when Diego froze, squinting his eyes trying to make sense of what he was seeing.
“So. This might sound weird, but—” Diego trailed off, his eyes wide with shock and uncertainty.
They turned, their eyes following Diego’s gaze.
“Is that people?” Jake asked.
“They aren’t people, they’re zombies.” Zahara replied, eyes wide in amazement.
“Zombies? Real live zombies? Cool!” Craig exclaimed.
“Craig, think. Zombies eat people, and we are the only people around.” Zahara replied slugging Craig in the arm as to knock sense into him.
“Oh, yea that’s bad.” Craig replied.
“Run!” Estela shouted.
“Hurry! Back to the rooftop! Go! Hopefully they can’t climb!” Coral declared.
The zombies grew closer, the quiet, the stench, the fact everything was abandoned now making more sense. They sprinted as fast as they could, reaching the fire escape, scrambling up to the roof. Back we have to go back!
“The Gate! It’s gone!” Quinn shrieked her voice high with panic.
“How the hell do we get it back open?!” Zahara demanded.
“I—I don’t know!” Grace replied sullenly.
“Oh no—” Aleister exclaimed, eyes growing wide as their brief head start was coming to an end.
They saw the zombies moving in closer still. The horde seeming to grow the closer they got to the building.
“Varyyn! He must’ve taken the Island’s Heart out of the machine and is on his way back to Elyys’tel!” Diego answered.
“So we’re totally screwed then. Great!” Michelle shouted.
Coral thought back to the times her mind linked with Varyyn. She closed her eyes and searched for him in her consciousness. She searched, pleading, praying he could hear her and feel their desperation. She tried, over and over, squeezing her eyes shut, hoping to finally find him. But she can’t find him, seconds ticked by and all she found was empty space. We must be too far. She slowly opened her eyes, the realization settling in on them one by one, they were stuck. How could we have been safer on an island that tried to kill us than home? She looked around her friends bewildered faces, every face etched with the same fear and worry. How do we get back now? Can we survive long enough to get back? Could whatever had changed be reversed, or was this simply the beginning of the end?
