it remains extremely funny to me that freddie wong accidentally (?) made Dan Fucks, embodiment of pleasure, so distinctly ace-coded. like, Dan talks a big game about sex and seems to view it as interesting and desirable, but when presented with such an obvious in for it he completely ignored Avaricci's come-ons to just talk about non-sexual pleasures like goddamn cold pillows. he's not paying attention to sex at all when it's not personally convenient or expected of him to do so.
100% Elias is ace and just doesn't realize people genuinely crave sex and it's not a metaphor or exaggeration like it is for him yet. bless him.

playing dragon age veilguard is going to be SO fucking funny because me, the person, the player, the real life human being HATES solas but my "canon" inquisitor considered him a confidant and friend and sometimes even a mentor figure. so while my inquisitor is like "maybe i can still convince him... maybe it doesn't need to end in bloodshed" i'm hovering behind him like

the thing about queer!sam is that i do think you could make a compelling case for it. however i’ve never seen anyone actually do it. it’s always offensive stereotypes and demon blood.

Everyone has been discussing whether or not the Shayne/Courtney wedding is real or fake and I would like to provide you a third option: the wedding was real and legal BUT ONLY for the return of Let's Do This. This is everyone's revenge on Arasha.

Definitely don't knock your device's accessibility options. I was looking through my phone's accessibility settings last night, and wow, it feels like technology has really advanced since I first got a smartphone.
I've even found a setting that raises certain sounds I apparently have trouble hearing, and it feels like I'm experiencing the music I love with a completely different perspective. It's honestly wild because my first smartphone had like... mono audio, and that was as close as you could get to accessibility

someone in the tags asked when rgu "gets good" so now i'm curious
these options are just the most common answers i've heard / which episodes i think are most likely to get someone invested in continuing the show. (the reasons i have written for putting these on here don't need to be the reason the episode hooked you)

I think that Dragon Age has just never quite figured out what to do with its rogues, which is why the only rogue specialization that has made an appearance in every installment is the Assassin. Origins got off to a real rough start with like, animal summons? And a Bard spec with mechanics lifted wholesale from D&D (not unusual) and yet no connection to Dragon Age lore (extremely unfortunate). And I don't think that void has ever quite been filled to its fullest potential.
Other classes have specs which have been much more successful at tapping into the specific flavor of the setting. Some are thoroughly explored in the lore (Templar, Blood Mage, Spirit Healer) although they have come with their fair share of ludonarrative dissonance, while others are extremely flavorful but have left a lot on the table that could stand to be explored further (Reaver, Spirit Warrior, Shapeshifter, Keeper, for a few examples).
Combat has generally been a weak point of the series. And if I'd like to see anything out of the combat overhaul for DAV it would be for them to have finally realized the potential of getting their story and gameplay teams on the same page.

Saw someone in the tag mention bread making and I tried not to expose myself as someone who is being bitten by the bread making bug but. Lets go. A headcanon I've had for a WHILE now.
Peeta, with Katniss and even Haymitches help has to clear the site of the bakery before he can begin rebuilding. It is, as one would expect, extreamly emotonally taxing but he powers through with their support. There isn't a whole lot to save, but he does manage to get a few boxes. Mosly nonsense stock records. There is a box of the Mellark families most basic recipes he obviously keeps. However the interesting thing is a almost empty box with a larger envolope. Katniss finds it, not quite sure what it is. It has only a date on it, one not long before the bombing.
Upon inspection, Peeta knows exactly what it is. It's saved with the other few boxes and taken home.
The next day Katniss finds Peeta dumping it into a small bowl with water and a little sugar. When asked, he explains that the envelope contains dried yeast his father must have saved. Mixed with warm water and sugar, it is how bread dough rises.
He makes a loaf with it, and somehow it's better than any other he's made in a long time even though there is literally no difference in the recipe he uses.
