Not a very nice way to treat a pregnant lady, jeez!
This is so weird - even though Abigail paid her rent, the game thinks Poppy didn't because it still considers her a separate resident of the apartment next door. But she can't use or access it, and when I hover over the door, the tooltip says "Chevalier," not "Carpenter." Weird!

anyone designing a program needs to hire a team of annoying bitches with ocd & autism to nitpick their ui before releasing it bcus ive been foaming at the mouth for collective hours over the past few days trying to get a layout in rebelle where the panels aren't taking up too much of my screen real estate & there isn't a huge amount of wasted space driving me insane & like
Tumblr media Tumblr media
WHY can't I scale the brushes panel thinner to get rid of that wasted space near the scroll bar. if I want to squeeze it so small the panel name at the top (not pictured) isn't readable anymore that's my business. it the edge of the scroll wheel should be right up against the brushes!! & why don't the two brush settings options circled move up where there's very obviously space for them to go so that the entire panel can be scaled down shorter to take up less room? this is the BEST layout I've managed after tinkering forever & it still drives me fucking insane. also if you want to snap a panel to the top or bottom you have to manually rescale it into horizontal mode first otherwise it won't snap in place & give you zero indication that that's the issue?? it should just automatically rescale itself to the horizontal format when you snap it in place???

Smart Storage Solutions: Unlocking the Full Potential of Your Kitchen
Tumblr media
In the realm of kitchen remodeling, efficient storage and thoughtful organization reign supreme. Homeowners today seek more than just aesthetics; they crave functional spaces that seamlessly blend beauty and practicality. With a few innovative techniques, you can transform even the most compact kitchen into a streamlined, clutter-free haven.
Cabinets that Work Smarter, Not Harder
Cabinets are the backbone of kitchen storage, but their potential often goes untapped. Custom cabinetry tailored to fit tricky corners or narrow spaces can unlock valuable storage that might otherwise be wasted. Pull-out shelves and lazy Susans make deep cabinets accessible, while vertical dividers are perfect for baking sheets and cutting boards.
Extending cabinets to the ceiling is another brilliant way to maximize storage. Not only does this provide a sleek, uninterrupted look, but it also offers additional space for items you rarely use, keeping everyday essentials within easy reach. With the right design, your cabinetry can be as stylish as it is functional.
A Place for Everything with Custom Drawer Inserts
Drawers often become catch-alls for clutter, but with the right inserts, they can become models of organization. Custom solutions for cutlery, spices, or knives ensure that everything has its own designated spot, freeing up valuable counter space. Deep drawers with adjustable dividers offer flexibility for storing larger items like pots and pans.
Shallow drawers are ideal for keeping smaller items—think measuring spoons or frequently used utensils—within arm’s reach. This layered approach to storage keeps your kitchen neat and efficient, making meal prep smoother and more enjoyable.
Vertical Storage: The Unsung Hero
When space is at a premium, thinking vertically can revolutionize your kitchen. Wall-mounted racks, magnetic knife strips, and pegboards not only free up counter space but also add a modern, industrial edge to your design. These solutions keep your most-used tools within easy reach, streamlining your workflow.
For a more decorative touch, consider open shelving or glass-front cabinets. These not only provide accessible storage but also give you an opportunity to showcase your favorite dishes or add a splash of greenery with potted herbs. Vertical storage is a blend of function and personality, offering practical solutions without sacrificing style.
Multi-Functional Islands and Space-Saving Tables
Kitchen islands are a cornerstone of modern design, and their versatility makes them a powerhouse for storage. Look for islands equipped with built-in cabinets, shelves, or even hidden compartments for items like mixers and blenders. Some models come with wine racks or designated trash bins to further optimize space.
If your kitchen is on the smaller side, foldable tables or drop-leaf countertops provide the perfect balance of function and flexibility. They offer extra prep or dining space when needed and can be easily stowed away afterward, making them ideal for dynamic, space-conscious layouts.
Maximizing Style and Function
Every inch of your kitchen has the potential to work harder for you. By integrating smart storage solutions—from custom cabinetry and organized drawers to wall-mounted racks and multi-functional islands—you can create a space that feels open, efficient, and beautifully tailored to your needs. Whether you’re working with a cozy nook or a sprawling layout, modern kitchen design offers endless possibilities to achieve a harmonious blend of style and functionality.

Essential Questions to Ask During Your Kitchen Remodeling Consultation
Tumblr media
Planning a kitchen remodeling project can be a game-changer for your home, offering a fresh, functional space that suits your lifestyle. Before diving in, it’s crucial to make the most of your initial consultation with a contractor. Asking the right questions helps you understand the process and ensures that both you and your contractor are on the same page. Here are some key questions to consider during your consultation.
What’s the Estimated Timeline for My Project? One of the first things you’ll want to know is how long your kitchen remodeling project will take. Understanding the timeline gives you a clear idea of what to expect and helps you plan for any temporary changes to your routine. Ask your contractor about the time required for each phase, from design to demolition to installation, so you can manage your expectations and plan accordingly.
How Do We Stay Within My Budget? Budget is often a top concern when it comes to kitchen remodeling. During your consultation, ask your contractor how they plan to keep the project within your financial limits. They can provide tips on where to save and where it might be worth splurging. This conversation ensures that you get the most value from your investment without compromising on quality or style.
What Design Ideas Do You Recommend? Your contractor brings a wealth of experience and creativity to the table, making them a great resource for design inspiration. Ask them about ideas they think would work well in your kitchen. They might suggest layout adjustments, materials, or finishes that you hadn’t considered. This back-and-forth can spark new ideas, resulting in a kitchen remodeling plan that you’re excited about.
Will I Need Any Permits for This Project? Kitchen remodeling projects often involve structural changes, electrical work, or plumbing updates, which may require permits. Ask your contractor if any permits are needed and how they will handle the process. Knowing this upfront helps prevent delays down the line and ensures that everything is done according to local regulations.
How Will We Communicate Throughout the Project? Clear communication is essential for a smooth remodeling experience. Ask your contractor how they plan to keep you updated on the progress of your kitchen remodeling. Will there be regular meetings, phone calls, or emails? Understanding how you’ll stay in the loop helps prevent misunderstandings and keeps everything on track.
What Is Included in the Estimate? It’s important to know exactly what you’re paying for. During the consultation, ask your contractor for a detailed breakdown of the estimate. This should include costs for materials, labor, and any potential additional expenses. Understanding what’s included can help you avoid unexpected costs later in the process.
Can I See Examples of Your Previous Work? Experience matters when choosing a contractor for your kitchen remodeling. Ask to see photos or visit completed projects they’ve worked on. This gives you an idea of their style, attention to detail, and quality of work. It also helps you feel confident that you’re working with someone who understands your vision.
Moving Forward with Confidence Your initial consultation is your chance to gather the information you need to make informed decisions about your kitchen remodeling project. By asking the right questions, you can ensure that your contractor is the right fit for your needs and that you’re both aligned on the project’s scope, budget, and timeline. With clear communication and a solid plan, you’ll be on your way to creating the kitchen you’ve always dreamed of. Ready to take the next step? Reach out today and start your journey to a beautiful new kitchen.
