I’m sorry to get your gift to you so late, this was something of a challenge but it was super fun to do and I’m really proud of the way this turned out! Truth is, I was pretty excited to get you as my giftee for this event, as another fellow Sabo lover! I’ve been following you for a while over on my main blog and I’ve really come to love all of your content so it was honestly really hard to stick with one idea when I had countless I wanted to do. In the end, I really loved the idea of Marco and Sabo meeting sometime after Dressrosa and just, reminiscing about Ace and bonding over stories they share with each other. 

I hope this is kind of what you had in mind and I hope your holidays and are being fantastic to you! 

Bonus: Also, enjoy a doodley draft of Dragon dealing with a recklessly injured Sabo post mission and Sabo being appropriately mortified! Koala absolutely never lets him live it down.

you mentioned you liked frobin, penguins, and the setting of being on the sea under the stars, so here’s franky and robin meeting a group of curious penguins while keeping watch- or robin is meeting them while franky dozes.

franky/robin is actually the first ship i ever shipped when i first read one piece and i love them a lot.....yet i’ve never drawn them before. ever. thanks for giving me an excuse to finally do so and i hope you like it!!

Coby’s character arc is honestly one of my favourites in the series. It’s funny, because although Luffy is the shounen protag, Coby went through the general protag growth more than Luffy did. Going from the whinny bby who freaked out about everything and couldn’t even think to say his dream, to now in just two years??? He literally made Luffy-level advancement, if not more. He just doesn’t get the world-wide recognition since he isn’t wanted and being a part of a secret unit and all. 

I can’t wait for Coby to whip these marines into shape and become Fleet Admiral because he’s way more than what the marines deserve, but oh boy do they need him. 

But yes, sorry for the ramble. I hope you had a good holiday and next year treats you kindly!

Hello @watermelon-chan I’m your secret santa for the @opsecretsanta2019 hosted by the wonderful @codedredalert! I hope I did your lovely shrimpji design well, he has so many parts that it was a challenge to draw, but I had a lot of fun! I took some liberties because I’m pretty sure he dwells lower in the parts of the sea where no light can reach, and the smoke pipe working underwater is a weird thing but still!! Merry Christmas!
