Opinion Time

Oh wow, there's been a lot of promposals all over my social media lately. Which is great! Yay happiness for other people! There’s also been lots of posts of just people with their boyfriends. Yay happiness again! 

I mean, that's great that you have someone who can make you happy. You should be able to let everyone know you’re happy, and that you have a boyfriend. Cause that’s great, happiness is probably the greatest thing in the world.

But the fact that I know what you and your boyfriend have been doing nearly everyday, or that I know all these random facts about said boyfriend without ever having met him really pisses me off. I don’t need to know all these things! So stop posting it all over social media! Can’t you just be happy with your boyfriend without letting the whole world know? Thanks!

It's crazy how society influences how we view everything from a young age. I work at a daycare facility that cares for kids ages 6 weeks to 10 years old and the number of kids that ask why a boy wants to play with dolls or why a girl wants to play with cars/dinosaurs is massive. Why can't we just let kids be kids? There is nothing wrong with a boy playing with dolls or a girl playing with dinosaurs. 

Well, that's at least my opinion

I honestly believe that those who speak of others in derogatory means are terrible. That is bullying others and now that I have experienced what I have and have now seen a friend who have done nothing wrong being spoken negatively about I cannot understand it. There is so much else to do but bash others and so many real things to bash instead of others opinions. ILLEGAL HORRIBLE THINGS. Like those blogs out there that have real life child pornography, why are you not working towards getting those off Tumblr? Why bully someone about their opinions on a character's race, sexuality, or gender?

There are real things out there that deserves serious attention, not things involving fictional characters.
