The purpose of this survey is to collect data about the experiences of people who feel sensations of nonhuman body parts, for example, wings or a tail. Some call these supernumerary phantom limbs, phantom shifts, otherlimbs, or astral limbs, though you may have other preferences for the words you use for your own experiences. If you haven't had those experiences, you can participate in this survey too. This survey was made for people who call themselves otherkin, therianthrope, furry, or any other potentially alterhuman or nonhuman identity. If you don't describe yourself with any of those words, you can participate in this survey too.

The survey will take you about 6 to 15 minutes. Everyone age 18 and up is welcome to fill out the survey at the below link, until it closes on July 6, 2024:

Who is running this survey and why: The person running this survey is Orion Scribner (they/them), an otherkin/therianthrope who has been making projects about these communities since 2005. I will use the results in my panel at an Internet-based convention later this year (OtherCon 2024), and in other future research projects.

Ok, Penelope marching to Troy save Odysseus and Telemachus is amazing and I love it but then I remembered Eurylochus, Citmene and Polites. Obviously Citmene would stay behind to run the kingdom while Penelope’s at war but Paris had not only pissed off Odysseus’s spartan wife but also Odysseus’s sister and his friends and that might be only the tip of the iceberg. Unless Citmene needs her husband’s assistance, Eurylochus is carrying his damn giant sword to cleave the walls of Troy to half. And who knows what kinda crap Polites would pull off when enraged?

Unfortunately, Ctimene does have to stay back in Ithaca to hold down the fort but she has faith in her husband, brother & sister-in-law.

And well, Polites will do what he always does: greet Paris with open arms! ......very muscular arms.

And fists, which are technically part of arms.

honestly being artblocked demotivated is crazy i just started working on my portfolio completely unprompted

boyfriend iwaizumi hajime fixing your posture every time he sees you hunched over and slouching—the way he holds your shoulders and straightens it by rolling it back, thumbs pressing into your shoulder blades.

he gently pushes your lower back whenever he notices you curling into yourself, runs his fingers up your spine too.

and he does it all quietly, your only warning the feel of his hands on you.

it’s almost like he has a radar for it, some posture-sense that tingles every time your back is anything but straight.

when you complain about back pain, he snorts, mumbling a ‘wonder why’ before coming over to knead out the knots anyway.

he buys you an ergonomic chair to hopefully help out, even leaves x-rays and scans of bad backs lying around to give some subliminal message of what could happen if you don’t fix it now.

and when he takes you from behind, pushing down on your lower back to give him that arch he likes, he’s teasing, telling you that you only seem to listen when he has you like this.

he’s really starting to think, should he start fucking you with your back straight?
