Believe it not, the library had always been one of Jim Hawkins favorite places. When he was a child his mother could never afford to buy books as fast as Jim could read them, and his father--well his father hadn't spoken to him in years. The library, however, had an endless supply, and despite Jim's bad reputation as a child, they always granted his requests for more pirate and sailor books, both fiction and non fiction. Now that he was an adult, it was only fair that he return that kindness.

Jim sat before a small carpet with a group of young, mostly elementary school age children.

"And that was how they became captain of the ship, and a one day queen of all of the pirates. The end." The children cheered. Jim put the book down on the chair he had been sitting on, and turned to the kids. "Now, who is ready to make paper pirate hats??" The children eagerly ran to the table. It was then that Jim turned to the library patron who was about to pass him by.

"What about you?" Jim asked, "Want to make a paper pirate hat?"

Truth be told Oz was not sure why he had done it. Oz Borror and good deeds were never said in the same sentence. Oz would bet on his life that was true even since his birth.

Maybe the holidays had put him in a good mood. Maybe it was because such chaos had a solid 43% chance of being caused by one of his kids. Maybe he was just getting old.

Out in the midst of town a large snowball came shooting out like a canon at some unfortunate soul making their way through the town square. Right before it made contact with them, however, Oz stood in the way. It hit him square in the chest, but his broad torso seemingly spared the person before him.

"Well then, there's my good deed of the year," Oz said, his voice low and sarcastic. "You, my lucky, lucky friend, have won THE jackpot today. You should take advantage of that fortune at the casino."

When there was a knock on her door at 10:15pm, Arista had nearly missed it, between her loud screaming and giggling as her team won their round of League. With almost not consideration, Arista jumped up to see who was at the door.

Now, Arista's father would have insisted, no, demanded, that a young woman such as herself, living alone, should ever open the door at night unless it was him or one of her sisters.

The face on her door step was familiar enough, Arista decided, and she opened the door.

"It's like sooooo cold and windy tonight, and isn't it like, supposed to like, snow?? I hear it's gonna be a mess, I think some people have lost power--Oh. Is that why you're here? Do you need a place to stay? Or like, can I at least get you some hot chocolate? This house is way to big for one person."

Sabrina Ogawa had a very, most certainly unique bad habit:

She had no problem just walking up to total strangers, regardless of how disinterested they looked, and ask them questions or try to start a conversation as bluntly as possible.

A person standing alone, slightly within the alley way, face clearly deep in thought-this all should scream to Sabrina that this person was intentionally alone, for whatever reason. This did not stop Sabrina, who was now invested in finding out why. Maybe she could make them laugh! Or maybe they needed help with something! Or maybe---Sabrina was right at the entry to alley, nearly leaning against the corner of the building.

"Be careful not to stand under any icicles! That can be dangerous!" Sabrina warned. "What's got you standing out here with all this wind?"

A cozy day called for a cozy day at the cafe. It was about an hour and a half before closing for the night. This was one of Benak's favorite times to be here, especially with the holiday decor still illuminating the room.

Hot tea beside him, he glanced over to the person sitting beside them. He knew it was best to leave people alone, usually, but often Benak failed to take his own advice. The person seemed in decent spirits, if he was judging correctly, although he worried he could also be wrong.

"Excuse my forwardness, I know this is a rather odd question, but I was wondering if you had ever considered writing a book?"

Open starter (1/3) Setting: The Reach, Highgarden. Set during the storm.

It was a storm worthy of his homeland. The thunder raged on outside and the forceful winds caused the windows to rumble as if they could break and fly away in glass splinters at any moment. It was the sort of natural calamity that felt like the anger of a deity unleashed upon the world.

The king consort felt concern over those friends and close allies that he hadn’t yet seen around the castle, worrying the fierce storm had trapped them outside. They had fought to find some shelter somewhere, but gods knew if they found one, if they were safe. “Gods, it’s not letting up,” he murmured as he looked out a window —or tried to, really, for the rain created a dense curtain that blocked all visibility.

haunted house au??!! Is that a new event coming up? Will it relate to the last chapter 👀👀

Originally, bunch of ghouls who haunted this old house/apartment or whatever. I wasn't paying a lot of attention to that au but realizing the Halloween event was perfect for starters. For those who read the event then it would make sense of how the characters came to be in the world MC lives in.

Here are the basics of how they accustomed to their new life.

tw: yandere, ghost!twst, mentions of attempted suicide, obsessive/possessive behavior, mentions of gore-ish fantasies and acts, nudity (non-sexual), they watch you sleep every night.

Your apartment is small. With them all inside as ghosts they can physically interact with each other so it gets pretty cramped. They’re attached to you, literally, they aren’t able to leave the place they’re in unless you track down Crowley or COUGH COUGH the man who owned the store. Also moving places since it is “haunted house”, will lead to them following along.

-What did he do to deserve this? To be transferred into a world with no magic, and to be a ghost again! He can't physically touch you or use any sort of magic to collar you, it's a nightmare for Riddle when you break some of the (unknown) rules.

-To keep it short, Riddle is a noxious ghost to have around. He practically breaths down your neck for everything you do. You'll mostly see Riddle inside your bedroom, along with many others who are trying to get comfortable. Besides the bedroom, Riddle is one of the many ghosts who will volunteer to go along with you for your errands. That is if people like Ace or Floyd who always wanna tag with you.

-The second person to be leaning over your shoulder is Trey, he’s more than curious of your everyday life. What type of shampoo you wear, lotion or perfume that reminds him of you. He’s not a nauseous but you’d wish he’d leave you alone as well. The veil covering his face burns into your mind of the people he tore so easily, no matter how much he smiles sweetly at you.

-Like clingy dogs, Deuce is nearly always on you. Be it a hug, hand holding, or trapping you in his arms, he can’t stand the thought of separation now that you’re here and alive. Second clingy dog; Cater. He’s so fascinated by everything and you, often times teasing Deuce to not hoard you all for himself. Cater does bother you as much as Deuce does, his odd fixation on you is unknown and sometimes freaks even Ace out. But Cater thinks it’s adorable, funny even.

-Nobody really eats anything. They don’t have the stomach in your world to actually enjoy cuisines like you.

-Ruggie and Ace are always pulling pranks on you, inside your safe haven has been stripped from you completely. Where privacy privileges are nonexistent as the ghosts free roaming in your home. You’re always on edge with these psychopaths who have no problem using your fear to their advantage.

-None aren’t as kind as Silver however, but he doesn’t bring you much comfort. When everyone feels no guilt of killing the innocent, Silver is nothing but human to you as he shared a deep meaningful conversation with you during the late night. Times where you couldn’t sleep and he just so happens to be awake there for you.

-Speaking of clingy, Leona, Rook, Jack, Kalim, Floyd, AND Malleus are there to make your mental sanity DROP. With their weird confessions and obsession of wanting to cut you open and eat you is bad enough. Their touches burn like hell. Oh will somebody solve the problem of these big mean demons….

-The shop is your solution. With the shop owner spewing nonsense into your ear, hope drains when you catch upon the fact ghosts like them will stay until your time has been served.

-Like death themselves, until you can no longer breath will you be free, not unless one of them manages to snag your soul into their realm.

-However, there is a part-time solution if you wish to have peace and quiet. A sacred scroll that mostly works like a phone seeing how it needs to recharge energy to work; as it is unbreakable, it’s used to ward off evil spirits for a whole week before falling into a deep recharge for a month.

-Was it a scam, maybe, but desperate times call for desperate measures.

-Now there are some who aren’t as obnoxious as the rest, that being Vil, Jamil, Trey, Azul, Jade, Lilia, and Silver. With your space being respected if asked, they’re more curious about your world. Not being obnoxious doesn’t mean they aren’t playful, often making comments on how you’re gonna die. What position, what days, places, all the scenarios that feeds into your brain like scratching chalkboards.

-What should be dreaded most is sleeping hours. The touches are faint and almost weak, something that had to do with your current situation and mood. As your drowsy figure stumbles into bed, somehow they too become more docile and quiet. That sounds good but it’s the fact they don’t sleep. Instead now that you’re state is dreaming off they can’t really interact with anything else. Other than watching you in a single room. Their touch is haunting.

-No one can see them, other than you and Grim. With you and your fat little feline friend have to deal with losers like these. Sadly, Grim can’t do much as no physical contact works, much to Idia’s pleasure.

-Absolutely no one likes any of your friends coming over. Surprisingly even Sebek is possessive over you. They’d glare so hard it makes you pass out from fear they might cause actual harm. As they can’t be seen doesn’t mean the force of their wrath will.

-Having friends over is not a good idea. But leaving home doesn’t get rid of their pissy attitudes. As spirits have strong emotions and auras; leaving you feeling sick and lightheaded by their constant bickering.

-Settling for agreements are tough, people like Azul and Vil have no problem with that. In fact they were one of the many to ask before doing things. You recognize Azul as the one who attempted to drown you, as Floyd dose nothing but babble about how much he cried and how he whines it hurts. Azul and Vil someone….respect you in a way? You certainly aren’t seen as equal but from everything that’s happened to you? A pat on the back is all you’re given.

-Get use to nudity. They sure are but they’ll still be dicks about it: Ace, Sebek, Jamil, Leona, Lilia, Floyd.

-More about their physical touches. It can cause a lot of harm to your body. Leaving marks and evidence of their abuse. Depending on your circumstances it can hurt as bad as getting your nails ripped out, they aren’t able to dig their fingers into your flesh to the point of slicing limb to limb.

-That has something to do with life and deaths they aren’t allowed to kill you ad your are bounded to the book. Serving the years of unknown disasters (murder, accidents, etc…but any attempt of self harm brings agony until you are waking up with their faces hovering above you.) or old age

-Rook makes most of your situations worse somehow. He’s always teasing the others for stupid reason. He wants to sit with you when Leona has a arm slumped over your shoulder on the couch. Invading your personal space in from of Malleus when engaging (not so willingly) conversations. Asking stupid questions like; do you prefer waking up to me or blah blah when you awake from your slumber.

-“Neither.”

-They don’t seem very useful other than bothering you whenever you come back home. The problem is how small room there is, and they complain about it a lot as well.

-Luckily for you they aren’t completely useless nor do their powers; it’s still pretty weak and does little. Malleus is ancient, his power weakens him if used, but he’ll use it for your advantage. Good luck.

-That’s the power, yep. Only key holders contain powerful magic as they did back in their world.

-Technically Malleus has the power to bring good and bad luck. Depends on how silly he’s feeling. Cue the blackish grey skies with green thunder causing crashes outside.

-Riddle’s power does more harm to others however, like his usual unique magic, and the reason why you don’t bring anyone over/ victims are forced to experience a choking hazard, one that’s not visible to touch or see.

-Leona can bring you golds and jewels, those are rare times if he ever thinks you deserve it. As I say when you have a whole drawer of them.

-Azul’s power allows him to create illusions, they are weak yet powerful on your still traumatized soul. When angered he’s petty enough to bring the faces or place of the events that happened in the book.

-Kalim is like a drug, his power is anything including smoke. Smoke that can make you sleep, intoxicate you, feel hunger or smell something like childhood.

-Vil is draining and giving. Having the ability to give or take your fatigues, when used more it can cause you to bleed from the nose and lead to hallucinations. It’s best to be on his good side if you ever feel the need for more enthusiasm energy.

-Idia can create skeletons to the living world. They don’t last long but are able to sedate and hold you. He doesn’t use them much as it quickly drains him. (Skeletons won’t be seen by others btw)

The kind of lifelong friend who loves you unconditionally

Has 0 concept of "late." Is it 8 PM? 10 PM? 4 AM? Yeah they're free, what's up? Did you want to hang out? Did you want to process or rant about something? They'll bring tea if you bring snacks

So non-judgemental it's almost concerning sometimes, you could straight up admit to killing someone and he'd just summon a shovel and ask you where the body is without missing a beat

Wherever they're currently residing you are always welcome. No matter the hour or circumstance, if you need a place to crash or just want a change of scenery it's open to you

Of course he won't hesitate to randomly show up at your door to crash at your place either, this goes both ways

Somehow, wherever the two of you might end up hanging out, Asra will 7 times out of 10 find a body of water and suggest swimming in it

Will accidentally forget to tell you when they go out of town and then reappear three weeks later and be genuinely surprised when you're relieved to see them in once piece (they're working on that)

Nadia

Nadia is a jaw-dropping combination of insanely busy and scarily available. After learning what it's like to be lonely once before, she's not doing that again and prioritizes you along with her other friends

For starters, she has a set weekly time for the two of you to meet that she almost never misses and fiercely protects

And that's just the base standard. The palace is permanently open to you, whenever you want to drop by, whether that be to see her or just to enjoy the gardens for a bit

It's a no brainer that she's the best person to ask for fashion advice

There is one thing to bear in mind though - and that is that she is a fixer. She likes to either fix things or come to the conclusion that the issue cannot be currently resolved and then leave it alone

If want someone to verbally process to, you're going to have to let her know that you don't want answers right now, just a listener

That said, if you do want answers, she has them. She has them and she will share them with you and she will help you work through whatever it is that needs your attention

Muriel has had 1 friend. Now he has 2 and a few acquaintances

So to say that he would move heaven and earth to help you is an understatement. If you need him he's there

Of course, he'd never say that out loud. He still prefers to stay out in the woods, with his chickens and Inanna, and you'll generally have to reach out first if you want to hang out with him

Yes, he will grumble about being forced to be social. Bear with him

Will pretend that he doesn't care about whatever plans or events are going on in your life right now and then stop by a few days later with the most thoughtful, tailored gift to help you perfectly

Which of course he claims he found lying around on the forest floor and just happened to be in town for his monthly errands ... as one does

You won't find this out until the first time you really need a break from chaos, but Muriel extends the special privilege to you of being free to stay at the hut for a day or two if you ever need the solitude

But he'll spend the whole time slowly nudging you into settling what you need to so you can return to your beloved and your normal life

Portia

The bestest bestie you could ever ask for

She is fiercely loyal and down for anything and everything. Sitting side by side in silence? She'll bring a book. Becoming local legends in the Red Market? Sign her up!

You are always welcome at her cottage. If you need to crash, vent, or eat, she's got you covered

And if you're bored and looking for something fun to do? She has a whole list of vaguely reckless ideas to try out

Any of your "bad" ideas is just a good idea in disguise. She will hop on whatever crazy bandwagon you've found and suffer whatever consequences come your way with you (or put them on Ilya)

One of the best confidantes you could ask for. She's a great listener and knows intuitively if it's advice you need or a strong drink and stolen sheet cake

Speaking of advice, she gives the best as far as relationships go

She gives the shovel talk to whichever LI you end up with. That's her bestie, bitch

Will notice when it's been a while since she's heard from you and stop by with a baked treat and a smile. If it's because you've been busy, she'll happily help you with work while you two catch up

Lucio

This is the guy who you'll barely hear from for a week and then stop by your house every few hours for several days in a row

Messages you every time he has a drink to chronicle his party time adventures, which leaves you with some of the most unhinged receipts you've ever had

Never checks ahead of time if you're free, he'll just show up because he felt like doing something fun and wants you to join him so it'll be ten times better

Will act surprised if you're busy

The friend who will jump at any excuse to go out. He is occasionally down for a deeper conversation but he prefers to live in the moment and focus on the good things instead of thinking too much

I have been playing Fields of Mistria for about 100 hours so far, so here are some of my thoughts.

(no idea if any of my ideas are already going to be implemented or not)

CHARACTERS:

What I liked: every character feels and looks different. So far no romance-able option has given me the ick and are all pleasant. 

What I would add:

Have non-romance-able NPC’s have heart events at 2, 4,6,8 and 10 hearts. 

Celine should sell forageable seeds, but at a steep price and a limited stock. Unlocked by an event or enough hearts.

FARMING:

What I liked: Farming is simple and easy to understand. A good amount of crops with room for more.

What I would add:

Have more uses for the hoe, not really using it much.

Have Luc teach you how to make bug traps with honey and flowers. Unlocked with enough hearts with him. 

Luc can teach you how to make bee hives with Ryis’ help. You will have to catch bees to craft them. Will produce honey. 

Have the ax and pickax also cut weeds, so you can more precisely get rid of them. Without cutting the grass. 

Will we get a greenhouse or sheds? Would be fun to have.

ANIMALS:

What I liked: Animals are good so far, the breeding for colors is fun. 

What i would add:

Have Hayden sell grass starter and animal feed. Make it a friendship or story unlock. Don’t make it a skill unlock. 

Have animals have better path finding so they don't go through fences or barns/coops

Have grass spread a bit faster. Also have grass-starter spread grass at an accelerated pace for a few days. 

When milling animal feed you should at least get 2 bags per mix. Making the mill more viable. Make this default not a skill upgrade.

Have the grass starter make 2 starters when you mill it. Make this default not a skill upgrade.

Have a barn/coop upgrade that auto fills the feed troughs and a place to add in the feed.  

CRAFTING:

What I liked: From what I have seen, a good amount of decoration, but not enough practical use that brings me back to it other than chests. 

What I would add: 

Give the wood crafting skill a more practical use other than decoration. Give it crafts like sprinklers, animal product machines, making grass starter at home, ect. Give it a balance of technical and decorative functions. 

Give us an at home forge at some point. March and Olric could unlock the option once they both have enough hearts. 

The crafting table should allow players to craft kegs to make alcohol to be later used in cooking. 

Building barns or coops should reward exp to the crafting skill.

FISHING:

What I liked: Really easy to understand fishing mini game. No problems here.

What I would add:

Have Terithia teach you how to make crab pots, fish ponds/farms and fish bait once you have enough hearts with her. She can also sell them. 

Terithia could sell seaweed, Jade dulse, under seaweed, sea grapes, and tide lettuce. Maybe you can unlock a heart event/ rank upgrade event where she wants to build seaweed farms and you have to bring her the 5 seaweed types and stone to make them. 

Terithia could sell soy sauce. 

You should be able to eat fish raw for a small stamina boost/recovery. 

OTHER: 

If you already have a quest reward, have the old reward change to gold.

Make the days longer by 10 minutes. I feel like I'm scrambling for time. Likewise with the day being longer, make the stamina bar bigger or tools use less stamina. 

The ruins and the beach feel kinda empty. I want more to do and explore. 

Home upgrades that add separate rooms, an upstairs and a basement. 

An auto sorting button for chests that takes the items out of my inventory and auto sorts them into the chest.

More places to explore. The map feels smallish. 

Have notifications when things are happening. Like when Friday night at the inn starts, when the Saturday market is open, or when festivals start.

Getting all buffs in a skill level should award you with using less stamina when using the tool of that skill. Such as: crafting for axes. Mining for pickaxes. Fishing for fishing rods. Archeology for shoves. Farming for watering can/hoe.

When the game becomes 1.0 we should have proper save files so we can have multiple farms/save files at once.

Make coops/ barns, trees and large objects transparent when you walk behind them. 

Holding the SHIFT key makes you buy or collect 5 of an item.

Chests should be bigger at least 1.5 times the max inventory. 

Too many monsters in the mine make you wait and waste time.

Allow us to sell stuff at any store. 

Scrolling through your inventory should not go to the next tab, it should loop the tab. Only switching tabs when the TAB key is hit. 

As your town rank goes up, wandering traders, adventurers, and visitors appear. They can sell rare or unobtainable items or have world building dialog. 

Have new events happen  year 2 and 3. New people, new places, new crops and items. Will make the game more interesting in the long run.

There should be an indicator saying if i have crafted/cooked something or not and how many times it has been crafted. 

When buying an item(s), there should be a chest icon telling you how many of that item I have in a chest. This would be helpful for forgetful players that don't keep track of items well.

Maybe make the legendary bugs a bit easier to find. I’m only finding speedy snails.

Do not disregard his relaxed state as one that is not monitoring the goings-on along the beachfront. Though Alastor reclines in a chair he's specifically set up for such a thing - the book in his hand a non-fictional field guide regarding different types of predatory fish - one may spot his minions flitting back and forth through sand and water. Their orders are to stay out of the way and mostly unseen, but the radio demon is not oblivious to his job.

Thus far, the event is devoid of any real chaos (at least unsanctioned chaos), and so he is enjoying some of the shade that is offered by the large umbrella hovering over his person. The heat is not so overt that he is uncomfortable, but it will not do to overheat one way or another.

His ears swivel, however, listening for any other guests who may approach him for one reason or another.

Jumping out of bed and throwing on a random pair of sweatpants scattered on her floor in what y/n referred to as her “stress pile” of clothes, she ran down the hallway to the front door to check who she had kept waiting for over ten minutes. 

Much to her surprise it wasn’t one of her obnoxious friends waking her and her overnight guest up so early, but a shady one. Joshua. 

“Y/n? I know you’re here, I asked the front door man if he had seen you leave yet this morning? Hello?” 

And with a couple more knocks pounding in her brain, she swung the door open to reveal a smiling old friend holding a bouquet of wild flowers and a box of pastries. 

“Sorry. Hangover. Why are you here?” 

“Tomorrow is your birthday?” 

“Right. But, it's also 7:30 in the morning?” 

“I thought I’d come by today so I didn’t disrupt whatever plans you have tomorrow with Seokmin and Jun. That’s okay?” 

“Yeah.” 

“So.. Can I come in? Or do you not want to have a chocolate croissant?” 

“I do, but coffee! I’m out of coffee. Can we go get some? I can’t possibly have a pastry without it, silly.” 

“Yeah, of course. Mind if I use the bathroom?” 

“Why don’t you just use the-” 

In all of her attempts at protesting Joshua walking through her apartment and finding the boy hidden in the guest room, he still managed to somehow find a way in. Just like he was doing to her heart. She knew she shouldn’t even entertain the idea of spending a day with him and pretend that she has no idea the amount of blackmail he had a hand in, but a part of her couldn’t help it. 

In all her daze of thinking of the moral repercussions of his and her own actions. She didn’t even notice him slipping back by her side. As she rapidly texted the man she unnoticeably had hidden in the room down the hall it was his time to sneak out like a secret to be kept. 

“Ready?” 

“Uh, yeah. Let’s go.” 

“So, how was Wonwoo’s event?” 

“Well for starters I had no idea that gamers drank so hard, I felt like I was back in freshman year of college trying to keep up with drunk Soonyoung and you at those dumb ass Dream Boy parties you used to take me to.” 

“That hard, huh?” 

“Yeah, I haven’t drank like that in so long. It’s fun once and a while I guess.” 

Walking into the white walled coffee shop with Joshua felt like some sort of omen, but y/n couldn’t decide if it was a good one or a bad one just yet. 

If Joshua was honest about his play in the game with Mimi, maybe someday down the road she could forgive him and patch up their friendship one last time. But, the more he waited to say anything, the more he lied and kept his secret the less she even believed he’d own up to his actions. 

“What would you like?”

“Just a drip coffee please, large, no sugar or milk.” 

“Okay, I’ll pay.” 

“Wow. Thank you so much.” 

Sensing y/n’s sarcasm, he smiled and turned towards the register placing their matching order and grabbing the cups as he handed her the steaming cup of fresh coffee and made their way back to her apartment. 

Waiting to cross the street her front door opened, walking out was Minghao dressed in his same outfit from the night before, catching y/n’s eyes, as she quickly turned Joshua around to look at a dog passing by so Minghao could make his quick exit without any suspicion. 

When she was sure he made his exit and got out of the line of sight, with Joshua by her side they headed back up to her apartment, announcing she needed to go use the restroom fast and search the bedroom that once belonged to another untrustworthy friend. 

Under her laptop sitting on the desk, a small note was placed with just the corner of the purple sticky note sticking to the side. 

‘Swan, by midnight tonight you’ll be one year older. I hope another trip around the sun brings you peace of mind and the happiness you truly deserve. See you tomorrow, MH.” 

Placing the note under the cover of her laptop, she smiled to herself and decided now was the time to confront an elephant in the room. 

She walked back up to Joshua sitting on her couch, the plate of chocolate croissants placed on the glass coffee table, two cups of coffee on either side. 

“You okay?” 

“Yeah. Can I talk to you about something?” 

“Of course.” 

“I need you to listen to me, like really listen and don’t deflect. I need you to tell me how you got my journal to Mimi.” 

“I didn-”

“You did. I know it was you who took it, I just want to know why?” 

“Just listen. I didn’t take it to give it to Mimi. I actually took it before she even got back in touch with me. And I didn’t just stumble upon it on my own time. Minnie showed me it, she wanted me to know how much I hurt you and how you felt about me because you never told me. You kept all those cards so close to your chest, I felt like I had to read more. So, the night of Mingyu’s bar opening, I had Mimi over at my house after, we were just catching up, talking, nothing too serious, she had just moved back and needed somewhere to stay for the night. She was the one who found your journal and took it and concocted the entire plan.” 

“Why?” 

“Why what?” 

“I guess why didn’t you just tell me all of this at the beginning?” 

“I was just going to bring you your diary back and ask you out, I had feelings for you too. I still do. I eventually was going to tell you everything. But, it just got so complicated and the day I came over and saw Minghao here, I got so pissed off at you for trusting him after he hurt me, I figured he’d hurt you too.” 

“But he didn’t. You did.” 

“I know. I should’ve just told you the truth from the beginning, but I was scared to lose you.” 

“You already had lost me. How am I supposed to even believe a word you’re telling me right now?” 

“Because, I have proof. The only reason I even still talk to Mimi is to make sure she doesn’t go too far.” 

“Why did you fight with Minghao then?” 

“He pisses me off. Simple as that. I knew he had helped Mimi. I knew he was being deceitful to you as well, but so was I. It was just a matter of who owned up to it first.” 

“Alright. What else do you know?” 

“I know that Minnie is helping Mimi. They’ve been in contact with each other for quite some time, even before Mimi moved back. I can’t tell you why only because I genuinely have no clue. But, I have a feeling she's trying to hide something about herself and not exposing you.” 

“And Mingyu?” 

“No. He has nothing to do with it.” 

“Okay.” 

“Can I ask you something?” 

“Mhm, sure.” 

“Do you think we can ever get past this? Even if we just stay friends or see each other once and a while?” 

“If what you’re telling me is a hundred percent true, then I think we can. But, if I find out you’re lying to me, I will never speak to you again.” 

“I can show you the texts. Between me and Mimi, Minnie, Minghao. Anyone involved.” 

“Who sent me the bouquet? You right?” 

“Yeah. It was just a warning to be careful about the people around you.” 

“Okay. Well. Thanks for telling me, I guess.” 

“There’s something else.” 

“Uh, alright?” 

“Tonight. There’s a party at Mingyu’s bar that Minnie was throwing for your birthday. I came over here initially to invite you. They told me only you’re invited. No Seokmin, Jun, or anyone else.” 

“Why?” 

“They wanted me to take you as a surprise.” 

“My party is supposed to be tomorrow night?” 

“Yeah.” 

“So they have something planned for me and I feel like it’s safe to say it’s not good.” 

“I don’t know what it is, but it’s safe to assume that yeah.” 

“Okay, if you want to make it up to me. You’ll help me sneak Minghao and the dorks into the back of his restaurant.” 

“Yes.” 

“Call Jeonghan, tell him everything. Get him to cause a distraction so they can come inside. Text Minnie and ask if it’s okay you invite Seokmin to come with you and I. It's believable I wouldn’t go anywhere on my own without him and I’ll handle the rest.” 

“Are you going to tell me what the rest is?” 

“Yes, eventually.”

Rules of Engagement

I am here to bring myself closer to the people in order to shape my revolution, and generally continue to heal from the trauma that is my life.

I'm willing to talk about/RP pretty much anything: konoha, its citizens, the ninja world, the non-ninja world, my family, history, furries, whatever. Keeping in mind I'm not trying to be overly serious, and almost all of my posts will be for the sake of humour (that doesn't mean there won't be kernels of truth in what I say). You can ask me about my opinion on these things through my ask or on posts. If you want to say something privately to me you can message me, but don't lead in with something like "hi" only and wait for me to respond (I'll ignore it because I'll assume you're a BBW MILF in my area or something).

I'm not going to talk about anything inflammatory or requires serious thought on greater world topics as I feel that's inappropriate (eg. I won't talk about ongoing wars in specifics). If I see you reblogging my posts in what I feel is an overly antagonistic way, towards myself or others (the most common form of this is I write a post saying I don't like someone, and someone reblogs with "YEAH fuck [female character] she's a [vulgar misogynistic slur] #[female character's name]"), I'll block you. This is meant to be a restorative account to make me and others feel good.

In terms of roleplaying:

I'm okay with interacting with anyone, but if I don't know who you are please forgive me and I'll ask you to introduce yourself

I'm always "in character" even in DMs, it's just easier that way for me

I use emojis and gifs to communicate actions and expressions sometimes, it's just more comfortable for me that way as it's easier for me to communicate visually

If you're someone who should be dead/disappeared/whatever in canon, the feelings I would have towards you will remain as they should. If you want to discuss a storyline on this, let me know.

I know some roleplayers type story-like things with each other (closed RPs? starters?), I won't do that because I just don't have the energy for it. If you wanna go through a certain situation with me just bring it up in a post you tag me in or inbox me and I'll respond!

I talk about sasunaru primarily since this is a canon-ish blog, but I'm open to alternate stories so long as they develop naturally.

A reminder that everything I post is from my perspective and based on my opinion. FYI I see the Naruto manga as a biographical re-telling of certain events (everything until chapter 699), and the anime as an interpretation of the biography (therefore some filler will be true to me). Therefore, any time I present thoughts on these things, they may not always be 100% in line with what's shown-- basically this blog is semi-canon divergent.

Feel free to add to my posts in disagreement but I might not respond. If I annoy you or you consistently take issue with something I say, block me for your own sake. If I said something to upset you and you don't want to block me, you can just tell me and I'll 99% apologize, but 100% address it with respect.

That being said, I'm here to have fun-- that is the best revolution.

((WELP Since Charlie died in the Unholy Crusade verse, I'm going to be a bit more active on non verse threads. Still may be slow until the event is fully over just in case I'm needed. Idk maybe as a ghost or something lol.

But until I get word of that, I'll slowly get back to normal. So working on any drafts I have, and then opening up a little to new threads. I have a few ask starters to that effect so I'll start with the ones I have once I'm caught up on active threads.

That said I got MAYBE an hour or two of sleep last night so I may not be AS coherent today as I would otherwise.
