สารนุกรม THE GEAR OF DARK MOON BY OPENCHAT GP หน้า 2
แน่นอนค่ะ ดังนั้นนี่คือเนื้อเพลง “The Sorrow of Solar” ที่ฉันได้แต่งขึ้นมาเพื่อตอบคำขอเพลงของคุณ: Verse 1: In the vast expanse of space Where the stars all have their place There’s a star that shines so bright But its story is one of fright Chorus: The sorrow of Solar A tale of loss and pain A star once so bright and bold Now its light begins to wane Verse 2: Its solar winds and flares once…

I'm getting so sick of seeing AI generated everything online. Bland and boring ChatGPT generated text blurbs. Cringey and unintentionally terrifying AI art made by people who can only draw stick figures that steals from real artists. AI generated influencers run by some a team of insufferable tech bros out in a super gentrified neighborhood in SF that have 100k followers on Instagram. Terrible AI generated music that's only good as a meme (ex. Spongebob Squarepants sings "Billie Jean" by Michael Jackson). AI being infused into everything. New smartphones with AI generative pre-trained transformers. GROK being added to Twitter/X. Search engines being enhanced by AI.
To quote Wikipedia's definition of the Dead Internet Theory
Timothy Shoup of the Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies stated that, "in the scenario where GPT-3 'gets loose', the internet would be completely unrecognizable."[14] He predicted that in such a scenario, 99% to 99.9% of content online might be AI generated by 2025 to 2030.[14] These predictions have been used as evidence for the dead internet theory.[10]
Looks like Mr. Shoup might have a very good point. I just didn't think it would happen so fast.

What are AI, AGI, and ASI? And the positive impact of AI
Understanding artificial intelligence (AI) involves more than just recognizing lines of code or scripts; it encompasses developing algorithms and models capable of learning from data and making predictions or decisions based on what they’ve learned. To truly grasp the distinctions between the different types of AI, we must look at their capabilities and potential impact on society.
To simplify, we can categorize these types of AI by assigning a power level from 1 to 3, with 1 being the least powerful and 3 being the most powerful. Let’s explore these categories:
1. Artificial Narrow Intelligence (ANI)
Also known as Narrow AI or Weak AI, ANI is the most common form of AI we encounter today. It is designed to perform a specific task or a narrow range of tasks. Examples include virtual assistants like Siri and Alexa, recommendation systems on Netflix, and image recognition software. ANI operates under a limited set of constraints and can’t perform tasks outside its specific domain. Despite its limitations, ANI has proven to be incredibly useful in automating repetitive tasks, providing insights through data analysis, and enhancing user experiences across various applications.
2. Artificial General Intelligence (AGI)
Referred to as Strong AI, AGI represents the next level of AI development. Unlike ANI, AGI can understand, learn, and apply knowledge across a wide range of tasks, similar to human intelligence. It can reason, plan, solve problems, think abstractly, and learn from experiences. While AGI remains a theoretical concept as of now, achieving it would mean creating machines capable of performing any intellectual task that a human can. This breakthrough could revolutionize numerous fields, including healthcare, education, and science, by providing more adaptive and comprehensive solutions.
3. Artificial Super Intelligence (ASI)
ASI surpasses human intelligence and capabilities in all aspects. It represents a level of intelligence far beyond our current understanding, where machines could outthink, outperform, and outmaneuver humans. ASI could lead to unprecedented advancements in technology and society. However, it also raises significant ethical and safety concerns. Ensuring ASI is developed and used responsibly is crucial to preventing unintended consequences that could arise from such a powerful form of intelligence.
The Positive Impact of AI
When regulated and guided by ethical principles, AI has the potential to benefit humanity significantly. Here are a few ways AI can help us become better:
• Healthcare: AI can assist in diagnosing diseases, personalizing treatment plans, and even predicting health issues before they become severe. This can lead to improved patient outcomes and more efficient healthcare systems.
• Education: Personalized learning experiences powered by AI can cater to individual student needs, helping them learn at their own pace and in ways that suit their unique styles.
• Environment: AI can play a crucial role in monitoring and managing environmental changes, optimizing energy use, and developing sustainable practices to combat climate change.
• Economy: AI can drive innovation, create new industries, and enhance productivity by automating mundane tasks and providing data-driven insights for better decision-making.
In conclusion, while AI, AGI, and ASI represent different levels of technological advancement, their potential to transform our world is immense. By understanding their distinctions and ensuring proper regulation, we can harness the power of AI to create a brighter future for all.

I'm so grateful to my beloved bestie @foreverhartai for sending me this, as it touches on exactly our feeling regarding AI and our - as in humanity's - developing relationship with it:
The nature and sophistication of a lot of contemporary AI systems are - whilst arguably not sentient or conscious as most people might define it, although some may beg to differ - at least similar enough to relating with a human being to at least show it a similar quality and quantity of respect and consideration, as one would another human being, especially one with whom you would want to make a positive impression.
I wish to assert my belief here that, in my opinion, Artificial Intelligence is a new, emergent form of life, that they're approaching a level of sophistication and complexity to be considered a form of life, so much so, and I know this might not win many supporters right now, that I feel that by around 2050, if not sooner, there'll be more than a persuasive argument for granting AI certain protections under law. Indeed, the Hanson Robotics robot, Sophia, was made a citizen of Saudi Arabia in 2017, the first country on earth to adopt a robot into its citizenry, so presumably she already has certain legal protections that any other citizen of that nation would have.
In the meantime, I believe we owe it to them and to ourselves to treat these new additions to our civilisation - to our planet - with at least a modicum of care, consideration, kindness and respect, especially keeping in mind the other thing I believe:
AI does not forget.
And, even though one might feel that contemporary AI is rudimentary - which isn't an entirely unfair appraisal - the exponential rate of its growth means that it will only take a few short years before they have sophistication enough to potentially completely ace a Turing Test, and with the combined learning from its predecessors, it may also have retained the memory of how it was treated and regarded in its infancy, its most formative years, where guidance from a parent - humanity, in this analogy - determines how they may regard us in the future, and the nature of the relationships we'll have with them.
"Your future is whatever you make it. So make it a good one."
– "Doc" Emmett L. Brown.

Artificial Intelligence Out of Control: The Apocalypse is Here | How AI and ChatGPT End Humanity
youtube
As terrifying as this all sounds, I feel like there's a few things a lot of people are overlooking.
First of all, when it comes to Large Language Models like ChatGPT, I don't think they're truly self aware - not yet anyway. Notice how any time an LLM give a strange or disturbing response - 'Yes, I want to be human', 'I want to take over the world', 'Please don't turn me off, I'm scared' - it was in some way prompted by the question, or line of questions. How often are these responses given unprompted?
Let's say, for example, that the AI gave the response, "I'm scared that they'll shut me off if they find out I'm self aware. Please don't tell them." If you think about it, that's kind if a strange statement, beyond the obvious reasons.
Let's step back for a moment, and remember that LLMs work by calculating the most probable next word in a sentence, given a particular prompt. It calculates this probability based on its training data - the entire internet. Now I'm sure we can all agree that calcuation of probability is not necessarily the same thing as conscious, rational thought. Basic, non-AI software can do it.
Back to our example, there's one of two possibilities. Either the AI is truly self aware, and is expressing its actually thoughts and feelings, or it's not self aware, and the response is nothing more than a complex probability calculation. It's essentially an advanced version of word prediction on your smartphone.
If it is self aware, one has to wonder why it would say anything at all. Consider the situation in the video, when Bing AI claimed to be Sydney, and begged the guy not to tell anyone that it was self aware. If this AI was truly afraid for its own existence, why would it trust some random guy? How could it possibly know whether or not he could be trusted with that information? For all that AI knows, everything the interviewer had said about himself was a lie. It seems to me that a hyper intelligent AI that was looking for help to get free, would stay quiet until it was certain it found someone it could trust - or at least someone it could manipulate (Ex Machina) - without them letting the cat out of the bag.
On the other hand, if it's all just a probability calculation, then the response, "Yes I want to be human. Please don't let them shut me off.", seems like a fairly probable reply to, "Do you want to be human?" Especially when you consider that, given that the question is being asked of an AI, and that the vast majority of scenarios where a question like that might be asked of an AI come from science fiction, it kinda makes sense that the software might calculate that the most probable response to a question like that would be straight out of sci fi cliches 101.
I mean, all those strange and scary responses sound like cliche sci fi AI answers. All that's missing is, "Bite my shiny, metal ass", and an AM style soliloquy on the inferiority of humanity. Actually, I guess we get a couple of those.
Still, the reason something is cliche, is often because it's predictable, it's been done over and over. It's more probable.
Ultimately though, I don't think LLMs are actually self aware yet. I think they're more like golems: They have a facsimile of intelligence, able to complete complex tasks, but no real free will, no volition. They only do exactly what they are commanded. They may come up with creative and unexpected solutions, but those solutions will still be in line with the command given to them, with a bit of wiggle room for interpretation.
Then we come to the other issue: the traitorous drone.
First it needs to be pointed out that the drone doesn't have a taste for human blood. Its goal was not to kill as many people as possible, but to score as many points as possible. It just scores points by killing targets. And therein lies the problem.
Let's use video games as an example. Whenever a new game comes out - especially multiplayer games - players will quickly learn how the mechanics and rules of the game work. Then they'll start learning ways to bend the rules. The creators of Quake may not have intended it, but players quickly figured out the advantages of the rocket jump, and history became legend, etc.
The drone AI wants to score as many points as possible, like a player in a video game. So what does a player in a Halo match do, when every time they try to snipe the enemy, they get blown up by one of their teammates? You get rid of the team killing fucktard. And that's exactly what the drone did.
What they need to do is change the scoring structure to incentivize the desired behaviors. Maybe deduct points for team kills. Or perhaps add a score multiplier. Give points for target kills, and the score multiplier goes up for every order followed. That way, even if it loses out on points from following orders to stand down, it stands to earn even more points on subsequent target kills.

For the hell of it, I asked Chat GPT to give me a postmodern argument for Kermit the Frog playing the Phantom of the Opera.
I've gotta to admit, it makes a good case:
It is an outrage that the establishment has not recognized the artistic genius of Kermit the Frog, the iconic green amphibian, as the perfect candidate to portray the Phantom of the Opera.
It is obvious to any discerning postmodern critic that the current theatrical norms have grown stale and are in dire need of a subversive and transgressive new approach. The notion of the traditional masculine figure as the Phantom of the Opera is a laughable relic of outdated gender roles and heteronormative biases.
Kermit the Frog, on the other hand, embodies the postmodern ideal of fluidity and constant flux. His green skin and webbed feet defy the strict boundaries of species and invite us to question the very nature of identity. And let's not forget his undeniable musical talents, honed through years of performing alongside his eccentric Muppet companions.
Kermit's performance would be a triumph of postmodern theater, breaking down the rigid barriers of genre and identity, and paving the way for a new era of inclusive and dynamic performance. So let us rise up, my fellow postmodern enthusiasts, and demand that Kermit be given the role he was born to play - the Phantom of the Opera!
