Hes (allegedly) worked with every war criminal throughout history and been every serial killer. even the gay ones. he ate a baby. his animal motif is a rabbit. hes kind of based off donnie darko. he talks to his cats in a baby voice. he wears a white fedora that makes every video he wears it in feel dated by like 7 years. hes 5'3. he hacked a girls tumblr blog. he added a laugh track over a video of him killing people. he named a chainsaw rex. he torments people by playing frank sinatra at them. his name comes from an animal collective song. theres a canon blog entry where he makes the speakers blare rob zombie before he enters a room, then holds a guy at gunpoint to describe what he did to to him while "making sure to leave in all the cool parts". Hes like ten tumblr sexymen traits rolled into one. His actor has gone on record saying heath ledgers joker inspired his acting choices. Sometimes his voice gets distorted and it makes him sound like bill ciphers first year on HRT. Hes basically like my artistic muse. For some fucking reason i associate the song cake by the ocean with him. I unfortunately really need him carnally. I firmly believe that if everymanhybrid didn't require a masters degree in creepypasta autism to comprehend, he would've caused more teenage stabbings than the slenderman incident and more kin war tumblr scenarios than nagito komaeda.

crazy how everything about mcd is so much more insane when you apply what i call the dog rule and that is when they are all dogs now in some way shape or form: an analysis.

when garroth is purebred, a hound made to serve, that does not know how to do anything but heel. he has purpose. he is sleek and well-groomed because he has to be, because he has always been tended to. a dog that falls into desperate spiral when that dynamic shifts - because who is he, without someone to follow, protect, love? a dog that becomes flea-bitten and hungry when he runs because he was never taught to take care of himself, to be his own master. he falls apart. he needs this, he knows, but what is he without someone to own him? a dog that cannot lead any kind of pack or family because it is afraid to understand the kind of animal it is if not in submission. if a parent, a teacher, he is promptly punished by his students as cruel reminder that he is not allowed to find joy in anything other than what his makers intended. a dog so desperate that it offers up its own leash to whoever will take it when things crumble - even if it means turning back to distasteful company. as long as it is held at all. time and time again, he tried to tend to the younger, weaker. he tried to feed them and lick their wounds - and time and time again, only to be mauled in turn. no more, he thinks. life was simpler when he was mindless, just four paws and a purpose. if that was what he was bred for, what business does he have pretending?

when laurance is a stray but made out of love. his coat shines thanks to the love of his family, his sister. he is sleek and well-groomed with them. the nether breaks him in, turns him a little wild. gives him cause to show teeth when threatened. when he bites, he mauls. there is something wicked in his animal eyes. he goes for the kill. when he bites, something in him wants it to hurt - whether his prey or himself, he can't tell. a part of the dog believes the suffering is natural because its maker declared it so. the pain wanes in and out like the cycle of the moon; life is unpredictable. he is braced to survive, sometimes with teeth already bared to expect the suffering. constantly on edge, pacing, waiting for the next disaster. a loyal, desperate pet that will follow to the ends of the earth - a desperation that borders on obsession. he will eat you alive, if only you would stay with him, inside of him, never leave him. never look at anyone else the way you would him. don't put him on a leash - let him choose who to lope after. his leash, in fact, is in tatters. he can't be collared. he merely follows, hungry at the heels of who fed him. his sense of duty is not of obligation but of love, a sacred need to stay at the side of those who treated him with kindness and them alone. and worse, he is burdened with the constant fear that if left untethered for too long, that obsession might turn carnal - that if wronged, he may not kill to eat and feel full, but kill merely to feel the blood on his teeth, just to feel the pain. feel something. anything. that he might enjoy the taste of his loved ones. maybe a leash is the right thing. maybe he needs to be caged. he can't bear either thought.

i think myrielle is kind of doomed to outlive everyone around her . i haven't been able to think of any real ending for her that's big and dramatic because i feel like more than anything she would be completely frozen in horror at the idea of having to live for years and years and years while every part of her life crumbles around her . she watches aerion die and she watches her brothers die and she maybe even watches her sons die and in the end the world spins on without her . i have a few little routes in mind for her but most realistically she goes back to casterly rock and lives for way too long and kind of just has to deal with existing without a purpose or anything to drive her to carry on . she has family around her, sure, nieces and nephews and probably some grandkids, but none of them are really all that involved with her . she has accomplished only what the world expects of her (be a good wife + have sons) but she is left with no satisfaction for herself

widow myrielle .... i think she would grieve for a very long time . longer than is kind of typical, because she cares for aerion but also kind of because she also mourns for herself. as i mentioned in the ask about her relationship with aerionnshe centers her life so heavily around him that when he dies she doesn't really know what to do or where to turn or how to even keep existing . she probably remarries by virtue of still being relatively young . eventually

ooo that’s a good question… i guess jade for human trafficking or exchanging 1 Pair of Chains for another. i’m still kinda confused and iffy and don’t know how i feel about her bc i heard some people say it’s not true, it’s an exaggeration, etc & i haven’t gotten far enough in the game to know. or know enough about aventurine or jade’s lore. regardless the mention of human trafficking is a lot already so she’s already on my bad side

outside of jade is… dr ratio? which. sounds weird bc i actually do LIKE his character but… i won’t lie: some of his comments? his actions? rub me the wrong way

the way he calls people idiot… i know he only does that if ppl are squandering their potential and opportunities but. It’s really hard to achieve that potential when so much hard work is put into that. and there’s a lot of external circumstances that can prevent people from achieving that. so being called idiot for that… just rubs me the wrong way

for example: i have a sibling that struggles a lot academically. and he’s struggled for years. he’s improved a lot since he started but due to always playing catchup he’s gotten tired of trying. as a result, he kinda gave up at one point. my family and his teachers had to give lots of encouragement to set him up on the right track again. being called idiot (when my brother sees himself as one) would NOT help that.

another person that doesn’t try to reach her full potential because of outside circumstances: my mom. she’s always been real smart to me, and capable of pursuing higher education (all the way to masters). however, she puts more value to her family over her own education. and i don’t think she’s dumb for “squandering her potential” but. people just have different values. not everyone cares reaching their max. they just want to live and that’s okay.

finally, on the other side of the spectrum: me. i’m someone who’s been trying to reach his potential for YEARS. i worked so hard that it jeopardized with my mental health. consequently, i had to stop and focus more on myself than my education which. even now im still not used to. and while reaching my potential is important i think if i were called an idiot for no longer prioritizing that. it would hurt me </3

tldr: while i understand why dr ratio does what he does (he’s a scholar who’s goal is to cure the world of stupidity: make education universal) there’s people that aren’t in a position to prioritize that or care about education all that much. and yknow what? that’s okay. so long as you know enough to survive then it’s okay to not reach your max.

that doesn’t mean i dislike him. if anything, he’s all the more intriguing because of this flaw: but i won’t deny that it rubs me the wrong way. (it’s why im having my oc be his narrative foil and address this flaw: how not everyone values education the way he does, why, and how to decrease these factors. also how to ppl bc u cannot make ur goal be “spread education to the masses” and not know it w to communicate with them bc canonically: he struggles and he struggles HARD!!!
