Also I got super lazy coming up with dialogue, so this basically the run down:

Barnaby is bugging Frank with another one of his classic jokes. That is until they notice Wally consoling a very distressed Eddie.

Before he gets to ask Frank if he knows what's wrong with Eddie, Frank shuts him down, thinking he's just gonna set up another joke about it, which he's especially not in the mood to hear.

However, after mentioning that he had only asked because Wally's been acting off as well, they both start to talk about their strange behaviors, how they can help, what may have caused this ...

But wait- who's that watching over them?

The Room of Requirement really pulled out all the stops for us tonight: a cozy little hideaway with flickering candles, a roaring fireplace, and the best part- a plush sofa that looked perfect for two. 

Remus settled beside me, and I didn’t waste a second before pouring us a glass of firewhiskey. 

I’d planned this night out to a T, and if I knew anything, it was how to charm Remus Lupin.

I held up my glass with a wink. “To us- two stars in the same constellation, burning bright together.”

He rolled his eyes, trying to act unimpressed, but I could see that hint of a smile. 

“Very poetic, Padfoot,” he said, taking a sip, “but I think the firewhiskey might be more persuasive than your lines.”

I clutched my chest, putting on my best brokenhearted look. “Oh, Moony, you wound me. But anyways, if you were a Dementor, I’d become a criminal just to get your kiss.”

That earned me a laugh. “Is that so?”

“Absolutely.” I draped an arm around his shoulders and leaned in closer. “Are you my homework? Because I could do you all night.” 

Smooth, right?

He just laughed again, shaking his head. “You’re absolutely incorrigible, you know that?”

“Only for you, love.” I flashed him my best grin. “Are you a fruit? Because you’re the apple of my eye.”

And there it was- his cheeks went pink, and I had to bite back a triumphant laugh. 

“Is this whole setup just so you could hit me with every pick-up line you know?” he asked, pretending to be unimpressed.

“Maybe.” I shrugged, not even attempting to look innocent. “But it’s working, isn’t it?”

He raised an eyebrow. “Oh, is it?”

I leaned in, lowering my voice. “Yeah, Moony. Because you’re still here, laughing with me. And you looove me~”

He smiled cheesily- what a sap.“Yes, I do.”

He finally closed the tiny gap between us, leaning in as I pulled him towards me.

Remus’s lips were a bit chapped, but they tasted wonderful; like cigarettes and chocolate and a hint of caramel, like always. There was a hint of firewhiskey, but that was just because we had been drinking.

“I love you, Sirius,” he murmured against my lips. “I’ll love you until the day we are but dust.”

“I love you too,” I whispered back. “Always.”

A little unpopular opinion on something I've seen happen more commonly throughout November/December and wanted to address quickly for my own blog: Please never hesitate to reblog anything from me. You see me reblogging a sentence starter list that you like? Go for it and reblog it from me directly without any pressure on you whatsoever to send anything into me before doing so. You like a GIF-set or musing that I reblogged? Nab it from me, it'll brighten my day to see that we share an interest in something. I like to see interaction between me and anyone who follows me. I like to see that little activity notification light up.

Honestly, it simply reminds me that we're all part of a community, and more specifically, a fandom that consists of characters and nations that we all came to love and then share that amongst ourselves. And honestly, seeing a reblog happen shortly after me but it's from the source, creates (in my opinion) an odd sense of chosen disconnect between people that can feel awkward, it's as if we're walking on eggshells as to not rub each other the wrong way. But what's wrong about going 'Hey, I see what you reblogged, I like it too!', it even gives you potential common ground to start a conversation. We're a community, and I don't know about you, but I like seeing people interact with each other beyond merely threads and notes. It's the little things that matter, after all.

Phoenix had that arm commissioned custom for you by a kid from IPS-N called Gray (@whohasfourthumbsand). no offense to the medics here, but the original prosthetic they had you set up with was hot shit. you deserved something nicer - something that fit you better and could hold up to repeated D/D use

thinking thoughts (maybe porting a D&D character over) (various spoilers below)

My Saturday game is totally over, which is sad and ultimately ok, but I've fallen very deeply in love with the character I was playing. Her name is Viatrix and she is the saddest, most mysteriously damp, most Eeyore-like weirdo I've ever made. Give her some of your blood for arts and crafts, please. She's a lycanthrope blood cleric devoted to The Raven Queen. TRQ gave her order blood magic so that they could control their curse. Her order also uses the blood magic to hunt other monsters, other werewolves, demons, and so on and so forth.

So, she sort of overlaps in two ways with my existing FFXIV characters...

None is already the saddest creature in the whole wild world.

Odette is already heavily linked to death -- Much like The Raven Queen. Though, to be fair, Viatrix is much more focused on the blood part of TRQ's domain.

I'm not sure how 'big' a problem #1 is. And in transferring Viatrix to this world her backstory might change. They've both lost their wives but in very different ways. None is pragmatic, stoic, and a hermit whenever possible. Viatrix is a guilty and damp stray dog who stares at you unblinking while emitting a single note whine. You know?

#2 might be a moot point because there is no direct translation for TRQ into FFXIV. There is Nald'thal, of course, but I'm less worried about what deity she ends up worshipping (genuinely I think I could drop her worship aspect entirely since I have Odette already) and more worried about...

the werewolf thing. I know the 1st had the Shadow Keeper who was quite werewolf-y, no? And the FATE in Lakeland implies there were more than one like it. But I don't think I want her to be from the 1st's history, you know??? I could make her another one of None's adoptive children (Gerry, Odette, and now Viatrix)(although this is very big maybe) which would make her Shroud-base and I'm already bending lore all the time anyway so... Maybe Viatrix was a young woman swallowed by the greenwrath, twisted into a wolfish wildling, spit back out into None's lap at some point for some reason???? Table Top Viatrix wore veils and hoods and many layers. FFXIV she would 100% wear a mask to hide from both people and elementals. Sometimes she still transforms into that wolfish form and sprints around the shroud. I don't know what the trigger would be -- probably a sign her woodsin hasn't been cleansed. Maybe it's just taken root. I think her blood magic would have to be... idk, removed? It's so closely tied to her worship and since I'm already more than willing to drop that I think it's fair to drop the magic part as well. Her interest in blood can just be a mundane thing. (': I'm sure there are groups in lore that mess with blood but I don't know if I'd want her attached to any of them. Hm. Much to tumble.

Thanks to my Mentol Illness™, I only have vague memories and little bits and pieces of years like, from 2012 to 2016. I also can't recall part of 2017's happenings. Just four-almost five years of my life being a confused blur due to my memory worsening. I try not to be too upset about it but sometimes it hits me that my brain is going Through it. :\

Having my mental illness and being a deeply logical person is like holding a 4yo by their harness who's consistently on a sugar hype. All while you're trying to read a book but you've been forced to babysit. You will not be paid. You have to do this everyday.

I just received my 100 glow-in-the-dark stars and spent the most peaceful time letting H:SR's auto run in the SU battles while attaching them on the underside of the shelves over my bed :3

UPDATE. Hi all! I know I've been a little quiet here for a bit on the blog, but I decided to remove Sam's Main Verse for now.

As some of you might know, my girl initially started off as a self-insert before becoming her own OC. However, I feel like lately she's beginning to revert back into being a self-insert, as her and my own personalities and mannerisms seem to be growing a bit too similar similar. I'm not entirely sure if I feel comfortable knowing that—-much less if anyone else would be comfortable knowing that. So until I'm able to steer her back into being her own character, she's not going to be available for threads and asks from this point onward.

Her other verses will still be up though since both versions have different personalities from myself, so feel free to send asks or interact with them instead!
