just imagined cal and andre dressing mel in the stupid cat costumes they find in pet stores and filming the process of putting the outfits on her (with many close ups of her face that is very annoyed but loving the attention) and then videos of her sitting in the costume with andre in frame talking to her and cal getting her at different angles while saying "pspsps" in hopes that she looks at the camera each time or even gets up to walk toward him

andre putting a hotdog costume on her while smiling and cal behind the camera going "she's a cat but she's dressed as a hotdog... a hotdog. more like hotcat," and andre just kind of stares up at cal. immediately going straight faced, but clearly trying to hold back a smile because what the hell is this cal gabriel fella even talking about most the time.

Cal needs more ships. i just want someone to love him the way he deserves, but someone who accepts him for all that he is, crazy or not.

[They walked along the streets, on the hunt once more. They were looking for different prey this time though. This prey was a little easier to track.

They needed to experiment with their induction process. Most people in their collective had, at least in part, been inducted accidentally. They needed to understand the process better. They wanted to ensure they could induct people intentionally. So, here they were, scanning the streets of downtown for an ideal candidate. Someone who they could help. Someone who could use the community that the collective brought.

It was Hatchetfield. Someone like that shouldn't be that hard to find.]

in lieu of posting any art, i should probably stop keeping all my fun little character tidbits to myself. the real question is what i should specifically write about. current ideas? people they know? fun facts? summaries of what has happened to them?

I think one of the nicest things about writing muses like Cal is the fact that the more he interacts with someone, the more there’s a subtle change in his behaviors. For first time meetings, he’s always going to hold the majority of people at some form of arm’s length. He doesn’t know you. He doesn’t trust you. And even if there is literally nothing about you that warrants his level of watching, he’s still observing you. This is more or less a habit more than him thinking you’re going to do something. He’ll be less prone to constantly keeping an eye on his environment when that comfort sets in (which takes a lot of time). It won’t 100% disappear, but he won’t be as on guard / looking around on a constant if he’s somewhere new.

I 1000% believe he is much more comfortable out in the wilds than in places with a lot of people as it’s easier to keep track of whether you’re being monitored when there’s just you, vast spaces of land, and a few wild animals / TDs. Cal is someone who requires a great deal of patience and understanding as many of his behaviors are a direct result of trauma and the need to emotionally, and physically, protect himself, so those muses who do come to understand this always makes my heart feel full.

on the occasion that cal and andre get high together theyre *literally* inseparable they would be SUCH clingy motherfuckers

i think theyd kind of lower their guard around each other even more so and feel comfortable just laying on top of or resting an arm or leg on each other playing video games or whatever without feeling any awkward tension

when you were moots with me on my old blog but didn't follow this one back after the transition . . . that hurts. anyway, i unfollowed a couple people who weren't following me back. i don't like having nonmoots on my dash, it confuses me when i'm mobile.
