EDIT: I was very excited about the chapter, and I had difficulty finding how to express the dialogue in English. But those who follow me on Twitter saw that I translated it as it really is "Takano san who loves you the most in this world is me." Takano then tells Ritsu that he is happy because he loves him too for the past ten years and that he has been waiting to hear those words from Ritsu himself. So don't treat me like someone who doesn't know Japanese, put yourself in my shoes BECAUSE I WAS JUST EXCITED SO STOP CORRECTING ME.

Even if Ritsu didn't say "I'm the only one", it's very clear that he is. Not even Takafumi's love for Masamune was as intense as Ritsu's. But anyway, the shojo manga style confession that Masamune wanted is there, Ritsu is a winner. (⁠≧⁠▽⁠≦⁠)

After more than 10 years waiting for this confession it finally happened for real

Onodera has finally admitted his feeling for Takano-san and he still in the FCK RAIN AGAIN

Gladly history didn’t repeat herself and this time Takano-san was able to heart it

And it looks like now the will official start dating so maybe the story is still far away from over, i don’t know

I hope that the translations catch up to the confession now that the fandom has probably stopped their daily life’s after hearing that it finally happened

Ritsu/Takano and Yokozawa ChilChil BL Character Poll Voting Guide

From July 26th through August 12th, there will be daily voting open to account holders on ChilChil! This is a yearly poll for different BL characters that have been nominated across a wide variety of series.

Ritsu, Takano, and Yokozawa are all in separate categories for voting this year, so I'd like to encourage you to vote for them! Ritsu is in the "King of Uke" category, Takano is in the "King of Seme" category, and Yokozawa is under the "Knight of Sub Character" category.

Below, I've made a short guide on how to sign up for an account to make sure you don't get stuck on the same step I almost did.

First, click this pink button at the top of the page to create your account if you don't have one already.

Then, fill out this information however you'd like. The important thing is that in the date of birth area, you have to put the year in the first box. I know I reach a lot of Americans with this account, that's why I'm specifying that.

After that, you'll get an e-mail to confirm your account. From there, so long as you're logged in, you can vote once a day! It resets daily at midnight Japan time every day.

After you've signed up for your account, all you need to do is go to the polling page and locate Takano, Ritsu, and Yokozawa under the categories I specified above. I've given links to each of their direct voting pages below. As long as you're logged in, the links should work!

🌸 0 Days Left Until Ritsu Falls in Love Confirmed for Emerald Spring Issue - Releasing April 30th, 2024 🌸

The real life Emerald, the magazine Sekaiichi Hatsukoi has been serialized in since August 2014, announced the news via their official TikTok account.

🌸 What IS Confirmed 🌸

As of yesterday, we now know Emerald’s next issue release date is April 30th, 2024 as stated above. This was far earlier than the average Emerald release date announcement, as it’s usually another month of waiting for any such info.

The phrasing of the video above pulls from the countdown boxes often found at the end of Onodera Ritsu no Baai chapters, with a few exclusions. It roughly translates to “Finally, there are 0 days left until falling in love.”

This confirms at least one Onodera Ritsu no Baai chapter in the upcoming Emerald.

⚠️ What is NOT Confirmed ⚠️

Weirdly enough it doesn’t confirm a confession, that’s always been a long standing assumption, but there’s a nonzero chance it doesn’t happen.

That the series is ending any time soon. I’ll write more on this below under the cut because it turns into a whole rant.

I will make additional posts as further information comes out leading up to April 30th, such as the full, digitized magazine cover, content updates, and links to purchase this Emerald. Support the official release when possible!

I don’t know where this misconception of Day 0 = the Series Ending started years and years ago, but nowhere in this announcement did it say the series is ending. There would be more than five separate unresolved plot threads that would be left open with Takano and Ritsu if their story got cut here. That’s ignoring anything going on with the other four couples. A good ammount of these threads were just opened in the past three or four years of what will be 18 years of serialization this year. I just don’t see it as a valid argument. Any time a series has ended in Emerald, where SiH is currently serialized, they announce such over a month in advance. I will update this post if such comes to pass and I’m wrong, but I’m highly doubtful I’ll have to.

Onodera confession took for us about 17 years but how long did it take for Takano to hear it, weren’t they in some 1 year countdown?

I think this confession ended being a bigger version of what happens in the miraculous ladybug fandom when it has been *years* for us but about five second for the characters
