⌖ BAN APPEALS were FUN! And by FUN, I mean I sustained MASSIVE PSYCHIC DAMAGE!
⌖ If you missed out on the FUN, I spent two hours going over them! MOST unbans were
viewers whose initial ban-worthy comment was sarcasm INDISTINGUISHABLE from the AVERAGE MORON (and had a comment history to substantiate their appeal)
inflammatory young'uns who'd GROWN UP and PROPERLY APOLOGIZED
viewers whose initial bans were the subject of a misunderstanding
⌖ Who DIDN'T get an unban:
The REST OF YOU FREAKS!
⌖ MERRY CHRISTMAS! Enjoy your REINSTATED COMMENTING PRIVILEGES!

"Chances are, if a book contains any LGBTQ+ content, it’s been banned somewhere. According to ALA data, “titles representing the voices and lived experiences of LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC individuals made up 47% of those targeted in censorship attempts.” And, no surprise, research shows that these bans can be harmful to the communities most affected by them.  Luckily, plenty of efforts are underway to help readers of all ages engage with literature and material that opens their minds and makes them feel seen. Several libraries offer complimentary digital library cards to readers ages 13 to 21, regardless of residency, as part of the Books Unbanned Project. The Queer Liberation Library also provides online access to countless e-books."

Since launching Books Unbanned in April 2022, the Brooklyn Public Library has given 8,200 teens and young adults aged 13 to 21, from all 50 U.S. states, full access to its extensive catalog of ebooks, e-audiobooks, and online learning database collections. These cardholders, all of whom have written personal emails explaining their need for access to the library’s collection, have checked out over 270,000 books.

No one sums up the weird incuriosity and conspiracymongering of the far-right online like Dom Lucre, BREAKER OF NARRATIVES. Like. The name alone. He will break your narratives, by having a terminal case of Dunning-Kruger & regularly misunderstanding basic aspects of the stories he covers
Tumblr media
Wow. You exposed that a joke-y photo op was staged? Great work there, Benoit Blanc. You took something literally every sharing the video understood intuitively, revealed it as a breathtaking revelation, and served it up to a credulous audience primed to go "I CAN'T BELIEVE IT, THEY ALWAYS LIE!!!" An audience that seems to not understand the Doritos thing, since they routinely don't understand the jokes made on the left, bc they're shut out of the Fox News bubble and who gets outraged about everything.
Tumblr media
The BREAKER OF NARRATIVES not only misunderstands that this was, you know, scripted (in another tweet he "exposes" a publicly posted behind-the-scenes video as proof it was "fake") but also thinks when Tim Walz said Corn Nuts, he was stupidly calling Doritos that, because everyone but him is, of course, an idiot he can expose with minimal effort, and also he didn't see any of those ads from the 90s where anthro corn stalks are sitting in prison cells with tattoos by text saying SERIOUSLY MESSED UP CORN!!! CORN NUTS! which is the real tragedy here
Or maybe it's that Dom Lucre was banned from Twitter for posting child abuse imagery, and then Elon Musk personally unbanned him after the crowd that relentlessly calls everyone pedos over nothing rallied behind him. That or not seeing the edgy Corn Nuts ads

Hello everyone , this is Jake/Caede ! You know me as K9emotes :)
I need to address something that has been detrimental to my mental health as of these past few months; the rumors surrounding my community and me.
I often hear from outside sources that people are telling other creators or members that I am a bad, toxic, or a drama causing person. I genuinely do not understand where this came from.
I started posting my art online and making a community to recover from a recent abusive relationship that crushed my state of self. I needed a healthy distraction and socialization so that I wouldn’t recluse and bedrot, as that was my usual response to things going wrong. I posted my art for others to cope and gently recover my mind, and it has been so wonderful meeting people and getting to show others my adoration for art.
but as my community has grown, I have made mistakes. With how unstable I have been lately, I have hurt people. I have assumed things and acted out because of it. I have done things I shouldn’t have, and I take responsibility for that.
The only issues in my community from the top of my mind, I will explain in full for all to see.
1. There was an issue where a user in my server was trying to claim that the term “FP” was BPD exclusive. I do not believe in this for lots of reasons I won’t go too far into, but to make it short; excluding other clusterB disorders from incredibly few medically and socially recognized symptoms hurts the entirety of clusterB and isn’t right. It’s internally ableist and I don’t stand for that. If you disagree, cool!!!! but leave my blog alone please
I grew frustrated as I felt ignored and demonized by this person, and spoke passive aggressively. I was triggered heavily and made bad choices with how I spoke. I was passive aggressive. That is it. I did not threaten, curse, wish harm on, or purposefully upset this person.
I struggled with tone through the conversation, and then banned the member and tried to move on. That is all that happened. I apologized to said person publicly about my behavior, and they were unbanned once educated on the subject. However, a person that this user knew acted out and said extremely hateful things about me and my staff team even after the situation had calmed down and was made up. They commented on me sexually, saying my ADULT STAFF MEMBER was “Jacking me off” by being my friend. I am sixteen years old. I am a child. The person who made that comment is 19, and never apologized. They then went to a friends server and tried to defend themselves and further attack me and my staff. They have done nothing but harass and throw fits, even after the entire situation was resolved and agreed upon.
2. There was a huge outburst of people using number names in my server without being RAMCOA survivors. Number names are closed for people who have gone through number programming. I explain it like a closed culture because for my own safety I’d rather not go into the torture aspects of it !!!! I sent out lots of educational announcements for my server, posted resources, helped correct people politely ect. I tried my very best to remain calm and helpful even while being triggered on the daily around my past childhood torture for almost a week straight. Some members were banned from my community for refusing to be educated or making up excuses on why they should be allowed to use number names while not being a RAMCOA survivor. I am not sorry for banning those people. I am not sorry for being passionate about the voices of survivors. I will not entertain people who refuse to change, and I have left this discussion behind with the strict rule that I will warn and then ban anyone who refuses to be educated.
3. At one point, I posted publicly claiming that the creator @lemondrops-emotes as heavily referencing my art. I fully believed that they were copying me on purpose, as the emojis looked extremely similar in my eyes. I have had my art stolen and posted in horrible corners of the internet. I was terrified and I acted out and accused them of copying me. This was wrong, I apologized, Lemon explained to me that it wasn’t intentional and me and Lemon are now on good terms. That entire situation has been dropped and I know not to call out things publicly when I’m scared now. I have grown in that area and promise to be better.
An entire hate blog was created about me and posted on that incident AFTER Lemon specifically stated that we had made up and it wasn’t anything to throw a fuss over.
I have received threats in my inbox.
I have had random members on discord dm me fake IP addresses to scare me. I have paranoid personality disorder and I am schizo. Both these incidents have made me spiral in terror. My mental health has been torn down from the amount of hate, threats, and rumors I have received for the crime of making mistakes as a teenager.
I am by no means excusing my actions, but my actions have been forgiven by the people I hurt. I owe no apology to anyone else.
Harassing me for mistakes that have been resolved does nothing but harm me. It does not help me grow. It does not help the emoji art community. Please, for the love of god, leave me alone. Stop attacking my close ones. Stop throwing dirt on my name. I am trying my best, and I will continue to grow and become a better person as much as I fucking can.
I want to keep making art, I wanna be a part of this community.
For those of you who have supported me from the beginning and actually taken the time to educate yourself on who I really am instead of taking a random person's word for it; thank you. I love you. I love my community, I love my supporters, and you have no idea how much you have all helped me out of the hell I was in. Thank you so so so so much. I create for you, and you help me get up in the morning. Please spread positivity through the art community and be nice to each other !!!!!! hate doesn’t get anyone anywhere and I do not and never have condoned drama spreading or harassment. I love you all, be safe <3

Finding Banned Books Online: Actual Resources
Hey, it's me - a version of Clove who is now able to access their anger through means I am not going to delve into on a public space. Hello!
I have continued to get myself very upset over the people who tear apart anyone who makes the vaguest attempt to support, or even provide mixed opinions on the IA lending library. They insist there are so many ways to do this already through resources provided by libraries, but don't actually say any of those solutions.
Because Google is free, right? It's free and definitely still a viable way to easily access information. We all agree Google is normal and reliable, and that people these days actually know how to manipulate search terms in a way that effectively provides information. That's why it's such a great thing to say when people ask questions instead of actually providing information that could easily solve the problem in your favor. Great!
Anyways, I went ahead and did research so I can offer an actual guide to people looking to access - in this case specifically banned books - without the aid of piracy or the Internet Archive. These are programs created by libraries, fully legal, though admittedly not always the easiest to access.
The Palace Project: Banned Books Club
This seems to be the best option I was able to find. It's an app created by the Digital Public Library of America where you can access a variety of digital library archives, including the Banned Books Club. You don't need address or proof of ID - you don't even need your legal name.
You get a digital barcode you can use to access books for about 20 days at a time. They have a vast collection of e-books and audiobooks, as well as a bevy of fiction and nonfiction. Cool!
Brooklyn Public Library: Books UnBanned
If you're a young person in the United States who has their apps monitored, this is another alternative. The Brooklyn Public Library waives out-of-state e-card fees for youth that last a year (You might be able to reapply).
They cover you from 13-21, assuming you can work up the nerve to apply directly by emailing them, or messaging them on their youth-led Instagram account (@bklynfuture).
The Uncensored Library
Are you outside the United States? Do you have a computer that runs Minecraft? This is not technically a way to read Ulysses or The Hate You Give, but The Uncensored Library is a massive world seed dedicated to preserving (I think mainly) journalistic articles covering news in countries where censorship is way more prominent. This is an outlier to my point but it kicks ass and I think it has a place on this list.
There are other options out there like Hoopla, but it looks like a lot of them require an existing library card number. Libby has a nice UI thing that guides you towards the options in making an online library card for a local branch, assuming that's something you are able to do.
This is what I was able to find through about 45 minutes of searching. If someone else has an additional insight I would LOVE to add it. Libraries are working so, so hard to provide as much of a reach as they can, but unfortunately it's difficult to spread awareness without Spreading Awareness, if you know what I mean.
At the same time, if you're a person who is just spouting that these resources exist without either naming what they are and/or acknowledging that there are a small small small handful of options - it definitely seems like you're less interested in sharing information to encourage a positive change, and more invested in looking right and informed.
I spent almost an hour to find two actual sources to share. If I wanted to read a book I didn't have access to, it would be infinitely easier to give up. It is so fucking easy not to make the effort to read a book that could potentially change your life. It's so fucking easy just to not read! So hopefully this helps someone expand their horizons in a meaningful way, or just have better access to a library system that they might not otherwise have!

They can shadowban me but I am very very stubborn.
Heya peeps! This is a backup blog, since my main (@fayzart136 ) got shadowbanned for no reason.
If you're here because you saw my art in the tags, welcome! I'd encourage you to follow the main blog linked above, since this is hopefully a temporary measure.
If you're a follower from my main, also welcome! Until this issue is resolved, I'll post my drawings on here as well as there. I will let everyone know when I am un-banned. My mutuals will know I'm freed from my unjust banishment when they see my likes again.
EDIT: Luckily, I got unbanned before this blog was ready to be used! I'll keep it online just in case I need it again, but it'll be an inactive blog until that beacon is lit.

Books Unbanned
Just learned about this initiative started by the Brooklyn Public Library that provides free non-residential library cards to teens and young adults ages 13-26 in the United States.
It was inspired by the American Library Association's Freedom to Read statement and is geared toward fighting censorship, which is most often targeted within the teen audience at Black and LGBTQIA+ works.
The libraries below have followed the Books Unbanned initiative. Most offer a special library card that allows access each library's respective collection of contested books. As the available books are mainly e-books and audiobooks, the cards are perfect for use with Libby, a free e-book app that connects to your library.
How to Get a Books Unbanned Library Card
Brooklyn Public Library - Email the address provided to begin the application. (Not much info online.)
Seattle Public Library - Fill out the form at the bottom of the page. Allows access to their e-books and audiobooks. Allows 10 loans (21 days) & 5 holds. Card expires after 1 year but can be renewed.
Los Angeles County Library - Only available to residents of California. Fill out the form on the page. Allows access to their Books Unbanned e-book and audiobook collection. Allows 5 loans (21 days). Card expires after 1 year but can be renewed.
San Diego Public Library - Click the button and fill out the form. Allows access to their Books Unbanned e-book and audiobook collection. Allows 3 loans & 3 holds. Card never expires.
Boston Public Library - Click the button and fill out the form. Allows access to their Books Unbanned e-book and audiobook collection. Allows 10 loans (14 days) and 10 holds. Card expires after 1 year but can be renewed.
If you're over 26 and can't participate but support all of this, consider donating these libraries, donating to your local library, requesting frequently-challenged books at your library, etc. Let's all read something we love this year. ❤️

No way! I feel flattered!!!
Remember what I said before? About the sysmed server not knowing I exist? Well! It appears as though that would now be an incorrect statement! (More under the cut)
Tumblr media
Let's go at this like it's English class, shall we? Dissect this post for it's contents?
"If you get this server taken down, we'll just make another server. ... If it comes to that, we'll just share the links in private GCs ..."
Well. Ain't that a kick in the head! If one server gets taken down, it's entirely possible to take another one down for the exact same reason! And saying you'll only hand out links privately... hate to break it to ya, but I, the host, am a Theatre kid. Acting is a hobby, and one I'm damn good at. You hand out links privately, only to people you deem trustworthy? Honey, that is my forte. ;)
"You're getting mad and defensive over us calling you out ... Instead of wasting your time reporting our server, maybe focus your energy on reporting servers that are actually harming people?"
Whoa, slow down there, hoss. Take a breather. You ever thought about why we're here? In your Discord? Taking screenshots and leaking them?
It's because, surprise surprise, fakeclaiming is harmful. It doesn't matter what it is, if you're getting fakeclaimed over a unique and individual experience/identity, that can (and sometimes will, sadly) cause a spiral that can lead to some nasty places. Depression. Isolation.
Even places like self-harm and suicide.
We are here because your server is harmful. We are here because you present an active threat to the community. But of course your HIGHNESS can't bear to think they're the problem!
"Addressing the ban claims, at one point we did ban a lot of faker systems from our server while rooting out a mole. Everyone from that event has since been unbanned. If you are still banned, its for a reason. Claims of us 'banning just because we can' are false. I could take a screenshot of our ban list and give a reason for every single one."
*Sips cup*
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yeah, I think we can move on from this one.
And now, the quote I've been so desperately wanting to address...
"Gip, because I know you’re in here, kindly stop sucking Ghost’s dick and get your own opinions, it would do everyone good. That goes for all of his little zombie followers. If your lives revolve around people on an online messaging app screwing around, re-evaluate your life choices."
Wow, where do I start with this one?
Blatant misgendering, bordeline going against their own rules when it comes to naming people on the server- I have 20 followers! And even then, you're still going to drop a version of my username? Just like that? Mmmmm...
I have my own opinions, thanks. I don't need a circlejerk discord to make me feel better about my own shitty fucking existence, cuz I have the balls to outright admit I'm a petty asshole with no fucking life. And my opinion is that people like Sophie, people like Cambrian and Lunastas and Guardian- all of them are fucking right. They have all proven they do their goddamn research, they actually give back to the communities they inhabit, and most of all, they aren't leeching off of people just by fucking existing, as hard as it is for you guys to believe.
(Also, if you're gonna insult someone, get it fucking right lmfao. Ghost is the goddamn host, Sophie is not Ghost. Two different people. Also, I'm fucking Asexual, so um, projecting much?)
Wow. As of writing this, they literally just got worse!
Tumblr media
Well. You see, while I personally choose to censor Discord usernames to close loopholes like this, it's actually not the same as if you sent a Tumblr handle. What you're seeing in those screenshots are not identifiers, they are server nicknames. Which are specific to THAT SERVER ONLY. Unlike places like Tumblr and Twitter, where seeing your name automatically means someone can find you, on Discord it's actually not possible (that I know of) to doxx someone through a server nickname alone. So no, actually, Sophie didn't leave your username out there, only a server nickname, and the two are not the same. So yes, actually. Because Discord is it's own site with it's own way of handling usernames, it is perfectly acceptable what Sophie did (although not perfectly ideal), because nobody is going to be able to use those names alone to doxx and/or harass.
And finally, the final update as of writing this post... the almighty @ everyone ping...
Tumblr media
Damn. I don't even have to AP English IV this shit, they already did it for me!
To sum it all up, phew... I guess I'm a target now! Which I'm honestly pretty damn fine with! But just know, I don't fuckin hold back. I will be a bitch for the sake of being a bitch, because I don't care how petty I am. I don't care about what people think of me, or whatever the fuck you could ever do to me.
I care about defending people from the likes of you.
So go on. Give me your best shot, then. You have the balls to call me out in front of your entire Discord server?
Challenge accepted, motherfucker.
Challenge accepted, motherfucker.
Challenge accepted.
Let's get 'em, bitches!

goddamn it now you've got me thinking about Sonic Minecraft headcanons and shit lmaoooo lemme like... spout a few: -Tails is the redstone nerd, he's the one who would literally learn to build computers inside of minecraft. The others purposefully ignore redstone in caves purely because they dont want him building massive shit that lags the entire server lmao, if he wants the redstone he has to get it himself. -Amy and Sonic are the two who use shaders, Sonic has a beefy-ass PC that Tails made for him so he likes to use shaders to make the world look as cool as possible, but he's also still a freak for high FPS so he tends to use low-end shaders with very basic texture packs. Amy, however, pushes her own PC to it's limits to make shit look as beautiful as possible, and she has a whole slew of texture packs that she's organized and uses. She's the screenshot lover, and the primary builder of the group. -Omega isn't in the server because he would not stop asking for mods that add explosives so he gets his own modded world where it's just.... always chaos. -Amy is also the primary server moderator, while Tails helps her with the technical stuff. -Rouge has been banned and unbanned like 14 times for stealing so now they shut down the server if Amy or Tails isn't online to make sure she doesn't cause trouble again. -Sonic, as you've mentioned, tends to explore a lot, so the others often find random dirt huts every 1000 blocks or so from when he forgets to take food with him and his sprint runs out at night time lol -Knuckles is the primary mining dude, he also absolutely refuses to give up his emeralds to trade with villagers because he wants to rebuild his home ruins in Minecraft and hopes to use emerald blocks for that. -Shadow is.... a bit of a wildcard??? He just tends to do whatever the hell he feels like, which is either building onto his house made of an assortment of random blocks, or causing absolute fucking mayhem for everyone else. He's also the one who spends his EXP on naming his weapons the most batshit insane stuff. -There was a moment in time when they were all in a VC together that Sonic said "Oh hey I found Shadow!" and not even 5 seconds later the message "SpeedyBoi was slain by XxUltimateShitlordxX" appeared in the in-game chat -Tails most likely helped set up some of their Minecraft accounts so many of them ended up stuck with names they absolutely did not choose
thats all i can think of right now lol, but this is making me wanna make a Shadow skin for MC
these are very fun, i think the only thing i would add is that the one time omega was in the server he downloaded every speedrunning strat known to man and beat the ender dragon in under five minutes
also silver does not play because he thinks herobrine is real <3

did you like sneak into a bar or something? i couldn't find any mention of an age restriction anywhere on the site but i've never played ponytown. all i was able to find online was that there's an 18+ server and a safe-for-minors server (and specifically the safe server has no upper age limit) so i literally dont see how you would be barred from anywhere on grounds of age? i'm uneducated on ponytown's various age restrictions tho
in the past i lied about my age to get onto the 18+ server which got me banned from said server and. somehow they figured out it was me on this new account that i made last night? even though i got banned over a year ago and even after i emailed them attempting to get unbanned from the 18+ server? to be fair i couldn't give them my ID (because i do not have one) but like. oh my god ????
