The anti-protest laws introduced under the last Conservative government are an affront to democracy and Saturday provided the clearest examples of the willingness of Keir Starmer’s Government to use them to suppress the Palestine solidarity movement, and the core freedoms of all of us. The facts of what happened on Saturday are laid out clearly in the statement made by the Palestine Coalition, backed by the wide body of video evidence PSC has posted online. It seems clear that the political intention was to create scenes of mass disorder which could be used to justify the Home Secretary intervening to ban all future marches. Despite this attempt, there were not scenes of mass disorder. This was due to the extraordinary and determined discipline of those who came to protest, even in the face of such provocation. The least you can do is WRITE AND EMAIL your MP urging them to vote in favour of an immediate ceasefire. Writing to your MP is easy and simple - find their contact details on the UK Gov website and follow the advice.

You don't need to be a wordsmith, it's vital you make your voice heard! Your letter must contain the following things:

1: The issue you want addressing (Ceasefire in Gaza)

2: Why it's important to you (death toll, genocide, UK complicity, risk of regional war)

3: What you want them to do (vote for the ceasefire on February 21st!)

I sent out pets as a petzmas gift to some people. Discord flagged me as a bot and warned people that what I sent was a virus. it's not. I have 15-ish more to go, I think. I know there's people I missed. I feel bad about that, but I was going off the letters to SantaPaws and PSC's Wishmas.

His white blood cell count is a little low, but not too low to stop the chemo. Keep doing what we're doing. He's active and not acting like he's sick for the most part, despite the lumpiness of the cancer on his head. He even played with some yarn I was working with two days ago.

In other other news. On the last step to possibly having some online work again (after getting laid off in March.) Fingers crossed I pass the little exam.
