What, Why and How Patent Registration Service in India Protects Your Ideas: A Guide by TaxDunia
In today’s rapidly evolving world, ideas are more valuable than ever. Whether you’re an entrepreneur with a groundbreaking invention, a tech innovator, or a creative professional, protecting your intellectual property is essential. Patent registration is one of the most effective ways to safeguard your ideas, ensuring that they remain your exclusive asset. At TaxDunia, we understand the complexities of patent registration and are here to guide you through the process. In this comprehensive blog, we’ll explore what patent registration is, why it’s crucial, and how the Patent Registration Service in India can protect your ideas.
What is a Patent?
A patent is a legal protection granted to an inventor for a new and useful invention. This protection gives the inventor exclusive rights to their creation, allowing them to prevent others from making, using, or selling the invention without permission. Patents are essential for safeguarding innovative ideas and encouraging technological advancements.
Here’s a simple breakdown of what a patent is and its significance:
· Legal Right: A patent provides the inventor with the sole right to exploit their invention. This means that only the patent holder can manufacture, use, or sell the patented invention.
· Types of Patents: There are several types of patents, including utility patents (for new and useful inventions or discoveries), design patents (for new, original, and ornamental designs), and plant patents (for new varieties of plants).
· Duration: Patents are usually granted for a limited period, typically 20 years from the date of filing for utility patents, after which the protection expires and the invention becomes public domain.
· Purpose: The primary purpose of a patent is to encourage innovation by offering inventors a temporary monopoly on their creations, providing them with a financial incentive to invest time and resources into developing new technologies.
What is Patent Registration?
A patent is a legal document granted by the government that gives an inventor exclusive rights to make, use, and sell their invention for a specified period. This means that once you have a patent, no one else can legally produce, use, or sell your invention without your permission. Patent registration is the process of securing these rights, ensuring that your invention is protected under the law.
Why Patent Registration is Important
Patent registration is crucial for several reasons:
Protection of Intellectual Property: By registering your patent, you secure your invention from being copied or used by others without your consent. This legal protection is vital in a competitive market where ideas can easily be stolen or replicated.
Monetary Benefits: A registered patent can be a significant financial asset. You can license your patent to other companies, sell it, or use it as collateral for loans. This opens up various avenues for generating revenue from your invention.
Encourages Innovation: Knowing that your ideas are protected encourages further innovation. Inventors are more likely to invest time and resources into developing new products when they know their work is legally safeguarded.
Establishes Market Position: A patent gives you a competitive edge by establishing your position in the market as the exclusive owner of your invention. This can enhance your brand’s reputation and attract investors.
How Patent Registration Works in India
The process of patent registration in India involves several steps, and it’s essential to follow each one carefully to ensure your patent is granted.
Step 1: Conduct a Patent Search
Before applying for a patent, it’s crucial to conduct a thorough patent search to ensure that your invention is unique and hasn’t already been patented by someone else. This step helps you avoid legal complications and potential rejections.
Step 2: Draft a Patent Application
Once you’ve confirmed that your invention is unique, the next step is to draft a patent application. This document should include a detailed description of your invention, how it works, and its potential applications. It’s advisable to seek help from the Top Income Tax Consultants like taxdunia which ensure your application is accurate and comprehensive.
Step 3: Submit the Patent Application
After drafting, the patent application is submitted to the Indian Patent Office. This can be done online or in person. Once submitted, your application will undergo a thorough examination by the patent office.
Step 4: Examination of the Patent Application
The Indian Patent Office will examine your application to ensure it meets all the legal requirements. This involves verifying that the invention is new, has a significant innovative feature, and can be practically applied in the industry. If any issues are found, you may be required to make amendments to your application.
Step 5: Publication of the Patent Application
If your application passes the examination, it will be published in the official patent journal. This allows others to view your patent application and raise any objections if they believe your invention infringes on their rights.
Step 6: Grant of Patent
If no objections are raised or if they are resolved, the patent office will grant your patent. You will then receive a patent certificate, giving you exclusive rights to your invention for 20 years.

I'm pretty sure most people who use puriteens are using it in a serious but tongue in cheek capacity, what's wrong with that? Also WHY is brat in there? Was that intentional, or are you just really really young, and/or have no interaction with people over uh, 20? Because everyone I know outside of fandom knows what the word brat is, it's a common word. It might be regional, but it's FAR from something that originated online.
Posting as a response to a previous problem.
A few additional anon responses: (Previously posted on their own, but I realized we had a lot of them so I decided to edit them all into one response to save space.)
Anon:
This smells like tone policing
Anon:
Brat is literally "a child, typically a badly behaved one". I don't know what you expect! Do you expect people to spell that entire definition out to refer to children who behave badly, instead of just using a word as it's meant to be used? You do know language is a shorthand to express complex ideas, right?
Anon:
Lol. No. I didn't listen to my great grandmother use the word "brat" to describe spoiled children (seriously, have you not ever heard the phrase "spoiled brat"?), AND my mother use the word, AND myself use the word as someone in their 30s, just for someone who doesn't even know the first two things about the word to claim that using it means someone is chronically online or "immature". Usually it's quite the opposite. So much unearned confidence in this ask, when you're just patently wrong.
Anon:
You can pry "brat" from my cold, dead, hands, you uncultured swine.
Anon:
“Brat” has been used for hundreds of years as one reply pointed out. Second and longest point of all, people who are calling minors “brats,” “puriteens,” and “snot goblins,” are referring to minors invading spaces not meant for them. Friendly reminder that there was a case of a minor who was 14 on a Discord server with other minors and the moderator was an adult. You know where this is going. The adult was grooming all of those minors, showing NSFW artwork of Cookie Run characters to the minors saying that the artists and people who like certain artwork and ships are “pedophiles” and that the adult running the Discord server is “one of the good adults.” That minor was bullying a classmate over Cookie Run ships, which is how the mother found out what was going on. Not only that. The minor had a Twitter and interacted with NSFW artwork. There have also been scenarios on Twitter where minors butt into conversations about sexual content. A minor was interacting with the Azur Lane Twitter account, which is a lewd gacha game filled with anime tiddies that can be comedically large. That minor claimed that one of the (at the time) latest cards of one of the game’s characters was “fetishizing their culture.” It’s a game about battleships and aircrafts as anime waifus. There are minors that invade adult spaces and then throw a fit that they’re getting kicked out. Some obnoxious minors will fling the word “pedophile” around at any adult that tells them to get lost. I saw a 15 year old go, “I bet your pedo ass got off to that.” “That” being the adult telling the minor to stop having conversations about sexual content out in the open on social media like Twitter and to stay out of adult spaces. There are also minors who unironically regurgitate the same puritan sentiments extremist “Christians,” 90’s soccer moms, and old white guys that tried to blame GTA for gun related crimes. That is where the “puriteen” (as corny as the term sounds and looks) comes from. It’s the same puritan mentality, but being performed by younger people. To end this off on a hot take, minors should not be on social media. Because there are creeps that lurk on social media and adults who groom children into an anti mentality and antis are the equivalent of a cult. I felt chills seeing minors on TikTok saying, “I’m scared that I will become a predator for still having a crush on a character who will still be underage by the time I become an adult.” Some of the comments under that TikTok video were also thinking about seeking therapy related to that statement. If you still think people who get mad at minors who invade adult spaces are the problem even after I provide these real scenarios of minors getting involved in spaces they’re not supposed to, then idk what to tell you. Sorry that this ended up being hella long, it just annoys me to see someone invalidate adults in fandom that keeps minors out of adult spaces and labeled them as “the actual problem.”
Anon:
I think it might be you who needs to get off the internet for a while and maybe open a dictionary?

“Y/N Mingyu’s here we gotta go.”
"I'm coming, one second."
Minnie was yelling from the front door of your shared apartment, waiting for you, who always seems to be late everywhere you go. Somehow this time you had been ready for hours, but you just felt that your feet sunk into your floor like quicksand not wanting to acknowledge the reason for hanging out with Mingyu’s crop of friends. Suddenly a small knock came on your door.
“Hey, it’s me. Minnie told me you haven’t left your room in hours. Everything okay?”
You finally removed yourself from the comfort of your room and opened the door, finding Mingyu standing on the other side.
Without words your arms laced around his body and you held him tightly.
“Yeah, it is now.”
You wish you could recall the things you wrote in your journal about meeting him for the first time in college, you both volunteered to help plan a homecoming event for the student council. His shoulders weren’t so broad as they are now, but his smile was exactly the same. Some part of you felt that you had fallen in love with him at first sight, maybe lust. That night was made better because of him, just like it is now. Some strange feeling of home filled inside of you when he’s around.
“Let’s go okay? They’re all waiting for you.”
Minnie was sitting on the step outside the front door of your apartment waiting for the two of you to finish whatever you were doing.
“Mingyu, can you drop me off at Cheol’s on the way home? He was going to come join, but he had a last minute client.”
“Of course, Princess. So by the way are any of you going to tell me why I am chauffeuring you to Wonwoo’s and why we are having a meeting.”
“Well.”
Minnie’s face turned around from the front seat to check if its a good time to give him the rundown to which you just nodded.
“So, it’s kind of interesting actually. Someone took y/n’s journal and is exposing her online, we don’t know which of our friends did it, but we have some sort of an idea of who it was. I got the idea from Seungcheol or Soyeon to ask Minghao if he could help. Luckily this person has only posted once and it was something from ten years ago that she wrote about Joshua. We’re just trying to figure out a way of knowing who it is before we ask any of them directly.”
“Wait, someone took your journal? Why the fuck does anyone care about what you write in your journal.”
“We don’t know, but your super sleuth friends do.”
Pacing around Wonwoo’s living room as you explain the situation about the journal, was starting to make you feel dizzy. For some reason you just couldn’t sit down. It’s been roughly an hour since you’d gotten here and acquainted yourself with the men you had only met before in passing. Somehow you felt like you’d known them longer, the sense of genuine concern for your now exposed life from semi-strangers was nice, but it left a bad taste in your mouth.
“Guys, they posted again.”
Vernon’s voice came from behind his laptop screen.
“Want me to read this one?”
With a nod and a couple of yesses from your new friends you finally sat down. Minnie’s hand came into yours waiting as patently as you before he started reading outloud.
“Okay, so this one is dated April 25th, no year, but I’m assuming its following the previous post in chronological order.”
“God, please read it.”
Your voice escaped your lips a little harsher than you wanted, but Vernon smiled as if he knew why.
“I’m so ready for highschool to be fucking over. Isn’t it a little cliche for the mean girls trope to be real? I have so little energy left inside of me to waste on patience. And what? I’m supposed to be nice a fuck to a girl who cyberbullies me, but pussies out saying this shit to my face?”
“God.”
Wonwoo’s voice this time, he was sitting to Minnie’s right engaged in what Vernon was reading out loud. The god wasn’t that he couldn’t believe your words, he didn’t want to believe those things happened to you.
“There’s more, should I keep going?”
“Please, yeah.”
“Okay. I really thought Mimi wanted to be my friend, but posting a semi-naked photo of me on fucking Facebook? Who fucking uses facebook? Of course she does, of course she writes love letters, uses facebook, and never leaves the house in her sweatpants. I’ve tried so fucking hard to be nice to her just for everyone else’s sake but I can’t do it anymore. Isn’t it just a little bizarre believing a girl you’ve known for less than a year over a girl you’ve known your entire life?”
You felt yourself crying now, not with sadness but with rage. A reminder of those years she dated Joshua and caused a riff between your friends, all because she was jealous.
“Y/n? Are you alright? I can stop reading if you want.”
“No, it's fine. Just finish and we can talk after, okay?”
You felt all eyes on you now, strangers to friends knowing your deepest secrets that maybe not even Minnie knew, nobody other than you and Mimi.
“The last part is simple, It just says, ‘One more month, y/n. One more month and then you get to spend your summer abroad before college, Fuck if I last a month I’ll kiss principal Ficsher on the mouth at graduation or maybe strip when I’m on my way to get my diploma, everyone’s basically seen my virginal body nude anyway. Fuck this place.”
Someone’s hand was in your face offering you a tissue, Minghao. The quietest of the three, but without words you could see his eyes were saying he felt sorry, not out of pity, just sorry that you went through something like that.
“God, I knew Joshua was a fucking asshole too. There’s only one reason he and Jeonghan could ever get along.”
You watched everyone around you thinking about what to do, waiting for your word on next moves.
“Can we just take a break for the day? Maybe just have some food or coffee, alcohol even?”
“Want to stay here at mine, y/n or go out?”
“Let’s stay here, I can order you guys something if you get some beers or wine?”
Mingyu took your phone from your hand, basically insisting you can’t pay for anything.
“No. I’m buying everything as a thank you for doing her a favor.”
A round of thank you Mingyu’s came from the group.
“Since, daddy warbucks is paying, can you buy all of us personal pizzas and our own bottles of wine? Maybe a dessert too?”
“Can’t you rob your actual boyfriend of his money, Minnie?”
“No, this is way more fun.”
After a few hours of drinking and getting to know everyone more, you decided to call it a night whispering for everyone to have sweet dreams as Vernon slept peacefully on the couch. Minnie ended up leaving early to spend time with her partner, Minghao and Wonwoo decided to stay up together the rest of the night attempting to hack into this anonymous account. And you, you left the same way you came, with Mingyu.
“Can you stay here tonight?”
You whispered before you unbuckled yourself from his front seat, without fail he pulled into a parking spot and turned his engine off.
“I’m always happy to spend more time with you, let’s go.”

A Fantastic Resource For Finding Information
Good morning everyone! I just wanted to pop in and inform everyone about a fantastic resource anyone can use to find information about nearly any topic that the brain can even think of. I use it constantly for my job as a researcher and it helps me out A LOT. This resource can be used for a job, writing essays, or even just satisfying a person's curiosity on a certain topic they want to learn about!
Google Scholar is an online resource that is free for anyone to use! It was released on November 20th, 2004, and is absolutely FILLED with peer-reviewed online academic journals and books, conference papers, theses and dissertations, preprints, abstracts, technical reports, and other scholarly literature, including court opinions and patents. Whatever you decide to search up, under each link/article/book/etc. will be options to save, cite (For when writing your own essay or article), tell you how many others have citied that specific article, and give you an option to view related articles and any other versions of that exact article. On the left side of the resource, you can specify what exact thing you are looking for by setting a specific range of when the article was posted, if you want to sort the results by relevance or date, what type of article you are looking for, and if you want the article to include patent/citations or not. Underneath that, you can even make an alert for a certain topic so that you will be notified when a new article is posted about that topic.
"But, Jerome, where do I go to find this amazing resource?" I'm glad you asked! You just need to search up, "Google Scholar" into your search bar and it should be the first link to pop up. I have also included a link to it at the bottom of this post, right before the tags. Happy researching!

ZAMBONI PATENT 1949 “Ice Rink Resurfacing Machine”
By Miriam Kleiman, Public Affairs, in honor of Zamboni drivers Alex B (NGA's Sculpture Garden Ice Rink) and Uncle Hank (Northern MI University).
Alex rocks the Zamboni at the National Gallery of Art Sculpture Garden Ice Rink, 12/29/22, image by Miriam Kleiman.
Ever wonder about the incredibly cool “Ice Rink Resurfacing Machine” (aka Zamboni)?
We’ve got the patent! See all 124 pages in our Online Catalog (NARA ID 117724382).
Thanks to the Zamboni, the ice was smooth enough for this talented monkey! See Ice Skating Chimpanzee, 1963 (The Unwritten Record).
Excerpt from the release sheet: SPORTS MONKEY SHINES! THIS CHIMP IS A GAY BLADE: Usually, summer is the whacky season, but this winter things aren’t on an even keel in Germany. They’ve taught a Chimp to Skate and he’s a real swinger! After some tricks “Archibald” leads a Conga that proves he’s a real gay blade with quite a line figure-8-atively.
“Ice Rink Resurfacing Machine” Patent file excerpts:
PROBLEM: "The maintenance of a satisfactorily smooth surface on the ice is one of the major problems in connection with the operation of a skating rink… The squeegees have no effect on the hard-frozen rough ice, and the ice therefore remains rough 'until the next time that it is scraped."
BEFORE the Zamboni: "Heretofore, the usual method of cleaning off and smoothing the surface of the ice has been to send attendants out onto the ice to sweep off the cut ice with scrapers or sweeps that are pushed ahead of them; while in other instances, the ice is scraped clean by scraper blades mounted on towed sleds towed sleds or on automotive vehicles such as the small, four-wheel drive vehicles formerly used in the military services and known popularly as the jeep In either case, after the surface of the ice has 'been scraped clean, a thin film of water is spread over the ice to fill in the cracks and low spots, and surplus water is then squeegeed away, usually by a number of attendants on skates, pushing the squeegees ahead of them…
GOAL of ZAMBONI: "[An] object of the invention is to provide a self-propelled vehicle that can be operated by one man, and which functions automatically to shave the ice, convey the shaved ice to a large receptacle attached to the vehicle, and then squeegee a thin film `of water over the surface of the ice so as to provide a like-new surface when the water has frozen."

Noel Fielding On The Last Days Of The Mighty Boosh, The End Of His Youth, And His Camden Camel
He worked 'incredibly hard' to elevate the Mighty Boosh to arena-filling world tours. Then they imploded, 'Luxury Comedy' got cancelled and so did 'Never Mind the Buzzcocks'. Noel Fielding frets to Alice Jones about being 'in limbo', the possibility of children and being the next Spike Milligan
Noel Fielding: Cult comedy status (Dan Burn-Forti)
“I'm not Mr Weird,” says Noel Fielding. “I don't go home and live in a psychedelic castle made out of bubbles, you know.” So what is his house like? “It is quite psychedelic, actually. It's like Yellow Submarine in there.” He guffaws and throws himself back on the sofa, kicking his silver pixie boots into the air.
The boots are the least outlandish element of the comedy star's look today, comprising as it does tight jeans, a shaggy black fur coat with a Chanel logo spray-painted on the back, a giant patent handbag in the shape of a watermelon and, painted across his face, some bright Bowie zig-zags. Does he ever have a dress-down day, slob out a bit? “What, when I put big shorts on? Don't do my hair?” He looks a bit baffled. “I don't go out like that.” When he was younger, he saw Jarvis Cocker in the street, looking cool in top-to-toe corduroy, “and I remember thinking, if you ever become famous, you have to maintain your image. If you saw Nick Cave in the supermarket in tracksuit bottoms, you'd kill yourself. I'm not particularly a slippers and dressing gown type. I don't have that wiring. I don't have a weird tracksuit I put on when I get in… That's not my zone.”
Noel Fielding's zone, as most people know by now, is surreal, funny, psychedelic and a little bit rock'n'roll. (The day after we meet, he interviews Ronnie Wood in Waterstone's about his new book and posts a picture online; they look like father and son – all angles and bouffant hair.) He attained cult comedy status as one half of the Mighty Boosh and mainstream fame on Never Mind the Buzzcocks. His rival team captain on the show, Phill Jupitus, dubbed him a “gothic George Best”; his best friend, Serge Pizzorno of Kasabian, called him a “modern-day Dali”. He is a playful polymath, hopping about in his pointy boots from sitcoms to animations to stand-up, acting to art exhibitions. “Just say I'm a genius,” he drawls.
With Julian Barratt in 'The Mighty Boosh', 2008 (BBC)
He is about to go on tour for a second UK leg of his solo show, An Evening With Noel Fielding, having already taken it around the UK, Australia and New Zealand. “I start getting bored and misbehaving if I don't work hard. It's fine when you're younger, you go out a lot and muck around with your mates and drink and stuff, but I'm a bit over that now.” When the Boosh was at its height – the final arena tour in 2009 played to more than a quarter-of-a-million fans – Fielding would party all night with his younger brother Mike (aka Naboo from the Boosh), then get up at 6pm in time for the next show's soundcheck. His current tour, still featuring Mike in a variety of daft roles, including Fielding's fictional wife, has, by contrast, been the “peppermint tea tour”. “We're too old. I'm too old,” he says.
There is more than one moment in the show when he wonders why he's still prancing around pretending to be a chicken boy, or a herbal teabag, or the moon (which he plays, memorably, by covering his face with half a can of shaving foam). Is he worried about getting older? “Forty-two, Jesus Christ. Peter Pan… When you're young, people say, 'Yeah, he's young, he's daft, he does all this weird stuff,' and then you have success and people say, 'Oh right, he's good.' And maybe in 10 years, I'll be seen as eccentric, like Vic Reeves or Spike Milligan, which would be amazing. But I suppose I'm in this weird transitional period between having some success doing weird stuff and not being eccentric yet. I'm in limbo!”
He cackles, but limbo is on the nail. Earlier this year, Never Mind the Buzzcocks was axed. Fielding, who had been on the show since 2009, found out when the press did. “If a show has lasted that long and people like it, why would you get rid of it? It wasn't losing ratings. People liked it, it wasn't an aggressive male panel show. I liked it before I was on it.” Would he have carried on? “Yeah! I loved doing it – it was very easy… I never know the thinking behind television.”
He is still smarting, too, from his last solo foray on E4, Luxury Comedy. In fact, it is all he wants to talk about, though the second series was broadcast more than 18 months ago and there won't be a third. “No! It was too harrowingly stressful. Someone called the show the second 9/11,” he says with a sad little grin. “We live in strange times.”
He had “absolute freedom” to do what he liked on the show. So there were cartoons and characters such as Roy Circles, a chocolate finger with shellshock; Secret Peter, who is made out of melted Jelly Tots; and Fantasy Man, who rides a porcelain unicorn called Arnold 5. Why didn't it work? “Maybe there were just way too many characters and not enough time to digest them all. What I liked was that it didn't adhere to any rules. It was like, 'Well, we're doing this and then this and then this and then this and then it's over. Bye!'” he sighs. “We shouldn't have called it Luxury Comedy, we should have called it something weird. The problem with calling it a comedy is that it's got to be funny, first and foremost. And we paid as much attention to the visual side of it. I would maintain, regardless of what people thought of it, that there were more ideas in one episode than in most things. It was brave.”
In 2009, his first year as a captain on 'Never Mind the Buzzcocks', with singer Aston Merrygold of JLS and the comedian David O'Doherty (Rex)
Where do his ideas come from? “I don't know what's wrong with me. There is something wrong with me,” he says. “I don't know if it's just because my mum and dad were into a lot of psychedelic stuff in the 1960s and 1970s. You know in Asterix when Obelix fell into the magic potion? I think I fell into a pot of LSD. I've always had a good imagination. If I saw a sitcom and everything was made out of cheese, I wouldn't go 'WHAT?!' I wouldn't get angry. I'd think, 'Right, OK, all cheese? Amazing…'”
Born in London to young, liberal parents, Fielding grew up a “painfully shy” child who loved drawing. No one ever thought the young Noel would become a comedian, but he adored Vic and Bob, and while he was at art college in Buckinghamshire in the mid-1990s, he started writing odd little stories. One night he decided to perform them, at his first gig, in Cambridge; as it happened, his future colleague Jupitus was on the bill. “I was going to run away because I couldn't handle it but he gave me a big hug and said, 'They're just people, it's fine. Just do it.' And it went really well.”
He met Julian Barratt soon after, and the Boosh was born. They won the Perrier Award for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Fringe in 1998, landed a Radio 4 series, and their TV show began on BBC3 in 2004. Would it still be commissioned now, in these risk-averse, online-BBC3 times? “Yeah. I thought we were good. We were one of the best live acts around. We worked so incredibly hard. There was no option of not getting on. I was so driven.”
At the height of the Boosh's popularity, Mike Myers wanted to write a film with them, and, Fielding tells me, Jack Black and Ben Stiller were desperate to work with them. Robin Williams came to their show. They had offers to go to America. “Maybe we should have gone – that would have been a way of sustaining it. [But] we needed a break. We'd worked together for 15 years, every day. We were sick of each other.”
Did they argue? “No, that's the problem, slightly. It was just a lot of tension. Like a marriage. All of a sudden it was just POWWWW and everyone was sick of each other. It was mental. We didn't have a day off in 10 years. It was like being in The Beatles.”
The end came in 2009, after a 100-date tour. They were making a lot of money and there were a lot of people with a vested interest in keeping it going. “So we tried to write a film, and it all sort of imploded.”
Barratt now has eight-year old twin boys with his partner, the comedian Julia Davis. Fielding and he are still friends; they live on the same street in north London and play tennis together. “The possibility of us doing something together is always still there,” says Fielding. Ideally, a Boosh film. “The combination of us two was a once-in-a-lifetime thing. You meet someone and you just work, you have chemistry on stage, and writing. That will never happen again for me, I don't think. Which is a real shame. I work with a lot of good people in a good way, like Russell [Brand] and Richard Ayoade, but I don't think I'll ever have that again.”
He is just back from a month in France where he was writing a family film – “a Time Bandits/Labyrinth thing” – and two TV shows (one for America). He'd like to write a children's book, and to act. “But not a part that someone would give me; something people wouldn't imagine.” He struggles to focus on one thing at a time. “If I was rich, it would be fine...” He must be quite rich. “I'm all right. But it goes pretty quickly.”
He lives with his long-term girlfriend, the XFM DJ Lliana Bird, and is at once intrigued and horrified by the idea of having children: “My friends who have kids look like they haven't been to bed for a year. They all look like they've been shot in the legs, or have typhoid or something,” he says. “Because of the Boosh, I got trapped. It takes 10 years to get where you want to get and then you have 10 years there and you think, fuck, I'm this age, all my friends have 10-year old kids… I suppose if it happens, I'll concentrate on that. It's a selfish life being a comedian, isn't it? Bit self-obsessed, really.”
Does he find real life a little boring? “Yeah. Painfully dull. I guess I've carved out a style and once you have some success with that, then there's an expectation that you will do something slightly different. You can't just abandon it, it's part of what you do. It's hard to change. I'd like to do something more real, I've never tried that. That's what I'm trying to write next – something simple.” How's that going? He hoots. “Well, it's a story about a camel. Who lives in Camden.”
Alice Jones is deputy arts editor of The Independent. 'An Evening with Noel Fielding' tours the UK from 12 November to 13 December; a DVD of the live show is out on 16 November
Beyond Boosh: How the mighty have moved on
Julian Barratt
Barratt, who played Howard, has continued to act on TV (Little Crackers, Being Human) and on stage (The Government Inspector at the Young Vic, NSFW at the Royal Court) while also directing, and narrating several BBC documentaries.
Mike Fielding
The Boosh took its name from a Spanish friend's description of the childhood hairstyle (“mighty bush”) worn by Noel's brother, who played Naboo. He moved to Australia after the Boosh toured there. He will appear in the film Zombie Women of Satan 2 in 2016.
Dave Brown
In addition to being a comedian and actor, Brown (Bollo the ape) is an art director who designs books and DVD covers – including those for the Boosh's live tour and boxset – and has mounted photography exhibitions of fellow comedians.
Rich Fulcher
The American comedian, who played Bob Fossil, co-wrote and starred in BBC3 sketch show Snuff Box, with Matt Berry. He also adapted his 2009 book Tiny Acts of Rebellion into a sell-out stage show at the Edinburgh Fringe.

I also think the constant push for ever-changing new EdTech pushed by tech bros who view the education system as a cash grab and school administrators lapping it up along with pivoting to vibes based curriculum, none of which has ever been shown to work (and most discredited), has also been a big factor. EdTech that has often included "gameification" that's directly based on manipulative gambling principles.
While being constantly bombarded by manipulative ads crowding out or obscuring real content stop that web pages are significantly harder to concentrate on and your attention is always being robbed unless you actively fight back.
Meanwhile the humanities and arts are stripped from their education until it's the most banal surface level bullshit that completely obscures why anything happened on purpose and is expressly designed by conservatives to destroy critical thinking, especially about social issues. And deny them access to library books that could fill in those gaps. So they've been forced to rely on increasingly rigged search results and social media all full of propaganda to educate themselves.
While being taught that they can't trust interacting at all with any familiar adult because any who would want to even befriend them are predators. While their parents or caregivers are forced to work longer and longer hours and the intergenerational family caregiver system is increasingly gutted.
They've also been aware their whole lives that the entire world is hurtling towards environmental catastrophe while the adults in power so nothing (and have lived through increasingly extreme weather). They've also been taught that being shot with guns by strangers is just a normal factor life that's your personal responsibility to avoid. They were also totally abandoned Ina plague and left to die while they see their classmates, rescuers, and parents get increasingly chronically ill through reinfection. So they don't exactly have a reason to believe in the future or the power of change through knowledge and collective action.
While being denied access to third spaces because kids just hanging out on the sidewalk minding their own business have the cops called on them. Basically everywhere forces you to pay and even then they don't want unsupervised teens. This will I overheard an older woman earthing when they were kids they used to play and take the bus alone and it was such a formative experience, but patents who let their kids do that today are neglectful and unsafe parents. Kids literally cannot go outside to hang out and have slower offline experiences. They've learned to but want to because it's bad when they've tried.
So all they have are online spaces increasingly full of manipulation and attention undermining and very confident lies.
It's not that the Zoomers and Gen Alpha are stupid, or even that kids in general are stupid. It's that we collectively built the world to manipulate and then fail them. They have no frame of reference for how bad what's been done to them is because as far as they're concerned it's all normal and the way things have always been. Adults fucked them up, and now we're living with the consequences. And it's not punching down on younger generations to talk about how that structurally happened and what we might want to do differently.
if pointing out that the age of getting a phone decreasing along with the prevalence of short form video as the dominant form of social media content during the most significant collective educational gap in recent history all of which happened during one of the most significant windows of psychological development in a human lifetime has had a deleterious effect on the attention spans, self-regulation, impulse control, social skills, tech literacy, and actual literacy of zoomers and gen alpha. if pointing out that that is a real and serious problem makes me a boomer and an old crank who has fallen for “kids these days” propaganda someone find me a porch and a rocking chair so i can yell at you to get off my lawn

Simplifying Startup Registration in India with Bizsimpl
India’s startup landscape is vibrant, dynamic, and filled with immense potential. From innovative tech solutions to eco-friendly businesses, startups are shaping the future of the economy. However, before entrepreneurs dive into building their dream ventures, a crucial step awaits—startup registration. While the process might seem straightforward, the legal, financial, and regulatory requirements can become a significant challenge.
This is where Bizsimpl comes in, offering streamlined solutions for startup registration in India. Beyond the basics, Bizsimpl provides unique value by focusing on aspects often overlooked by entrepreneurs. Let’s explore the lesser-discussed but equally important topics related to startup registration in India and how Bizsimpl supports these areas.
Why Timing Matters in Startup Registration
Many entrepreneurs delay registering their startups, either to save costs or to test the viability of their idea. While this approach might seem practical initially, it can lead to challenges:
Missed Opportunities: Government initiatives like Startup India offer significant tax benefits and funding opportunities to registered startups. Delaying registration could mean losing out on these advantages.
Risk of Name Duplication: Without timely registration, there’s a chance that someone else may register a similar name, leading to branding issues.
Difficulty in Securing Funding: Investors are more inclined to fund registered businesses as it indicates professionalism and legal compliance.
Bizsimpl helps entrepreneurs understand the right time to register and guides them through the process swiftly to avoid unnecessary delays.
Regional Compliance: Tailoring Solutions for Every State
India’s diverse regulatory framework often includes state-specific compliance requirements for startups. Depending on the state where the business operates, additional licenses or permits might be needed, such as:
Shop and Establishment License
Professional Tax Registration
Local Municipal Permits
Bizsimpl’s local expertise ensures startups comply with these regional requirements seamlessly, avoiding potential roadblocks in their journey.
Beyond Legal Registration: Establishing Business Credibility
While legal registration is essential, building a strong business foundation goes beyond paperwork. Bizsimpl focuses on enhancing a startup’s credibility by helping entrepreneurs with:
Banking Relationships: Setting up corporate bank accounts with favorable terms to manage finances effectively.
Digital Presence: Guidance on creating a professional online presence, including domain registration and email setups, to establish authority.
Networking Opportunities: Connecting startups with relevant industry bodies, accelerators, and networks to boost visibility and collaboration.
Trademark and Brand Protection
One of the most overlooked aspects of startup registration in India is intellectual property (IP) protection. While registering a business gives it legal recognition, protecting the brand requires additional steps:
Trademark Registration: To secure the company name, logo, and tagline.
Copyright Registration: For creative assets like website content, product designs, and marketing materials.
Patent Filing: For innovative products or processes.
Bizsimpl simplifies the IP registration process, ensuring that startups can safeguard their brand identity and innovations from competitors.
Financial Structuring During Registration
The initial financial setup of a startup can significantly influence its long-term growth. During registration, startups must carefully plan their:
Capital Structure: Deciding the authorized and paid-up capital.
Equity Distribution: Allocating shares among founders and early investors.
Funding Pathways: Setting up the groundwork for future fundraising rounds.
Bizsimpl’s financial experts work with entrepreneurs to create a robust financial structure that aligns with their business goals.
Digital Signatures and Compliance
With increasing digitization in India, digital signatures have become mandatory for filing various legal and tax documents. Bizsimpl not only helps entrepreneurs obtain their Digital Signature Certificates (DSCs) but also trains them in their use for:
Filing with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA).
E-signing agreements with clients or partners.
Filing GST and tax returns online.
This ensures that startups are equipped to handle modern compliance requirements efficiently.
Employee Registration and Onboarding
For startups planning to hire employees immediately after registration, Bizsimpl ensures they comply with employment laws by:
Employee Provident Fund (EPF) Registration: Ensuring employee benefits.
ESI (Employee State Insurance) Registration: Providing healthcare and insurance for workers.
Drafting Employment Contracts: Ensuring clarity on roles, responsibilities, and remuneration.
These steps not only establish compliance but also create a professional image that attracts top talent.
Post-Registration Support: A Key Differentiator
Startup registration is only the first step in an entrepreneurial journey. Post-registration, businesses face ongoing compliance and operational challenges. Bizsimpl’s role extends beyond the registration process, offering services such as:
Annual Compliance Filings: Ensuring timely submission of financial statements, board meeting minutes, and audit reports.
Tax Return Filings: Managing GST, TDS, and income tax filings to avoid penalties.
Business Growth Strategy: Providing insights into scaling operations and entering new markets.
This holistic support ensures that startups remain compliant while focusing on growth.
Why Choose Bizsimpl for Startup Registration?
While many service providers offer registration assistance, Bizsimpl stands out for its:
Comprehensive Approach: Covering all aspects of registration, compliance, and financial planning.
Expert Guidance: A team of seasoned professionals with expertise across industries.
Tech-Driven Solutions: Leveraging digital tools to make processes faster and more transparent.
Customer-Centric Philosophy: Tailored services to meet the unique needs of every startup.
Conclusion
Startup registration in India is the foundation upon which successful businesses are built. By partnering with Bizsimpl, entrepreneurs can navigate the complexities of the process with ease and confidence. The year is 2077. Over the years, ease of use in the average user computer market has gone up that most people have forgotten there is someone that operates the machine. It's worse than "what you see is what you get": "What you see is all there is." The average person can no longer manually turn on a computer, for that is done automatically. They can no longer move files, for all file that has to be moved is done so automatically. They no longer click icons on a desktop for all apps are launched at the computer's guess: all they do is tell, in plain English, what they want, and the machine will find a way to provide them. They no longer know what is hardware, they would never be able to repair a machine, even if the solution is as simple as plugging it in. They no longer understand what and why is a keyboard. They no longer understand, nor do they suspect.
For every hundred thousand, a thousand knows what an operating system is, 500 of which knows its possible to change it, but only 100 have done so. Communities that once would fill entire hotels with nerds and the curious uninformed alike now have been reduced to local metups where people exchange files of dubious legality, play, and develop further their little community. What unites them is the curse of knowledge. They know that if they went to the same thrift store as everyone and bought the same computer as everyone, they would be forced to use outdated, exploitable spyware, and pay completely incoherent fees for basic abilities.
The average user would think that it is like that, and you either pay or don't have it. But this group gets that these functionalities are basic things they could make themselves in minutes, and they have. Using layouts from expired patents, reversed-enginereed outdated machinery, and scrap parts, they are able to produce computer hardware that are free of any limitations and compatible with software of the old age, from which they have developed fully functioning operating systems with all capabilities you would expect in a modern day computer, which they distribute for the price of the thumb drive they come in. Most content they consume is pirated, as almost all content there is paid, but have extremely outdated piracy measures; the average user won't even think of the possibility of getting anything on the computer without paying.
The uninformed would never doubt the machine or its requests and, as a result, tracking is at its worst. Telemetry is feared. Machines smarter than the human made to hipnotise entire nations are out there, and all you can do is hide. No webcams, no names, no aliases, no trace-backable traits, not when using the computer. They keep it down and use cryptography on all their activity. They have no accounts in online services, they use spoofs to make it seem like they do. They only update with physical medias of their software, which they check first. Privacy now requires advanced understanding of computer science, to know your computer like it's your child.
The impact of those who fail their measures is psychological torture by a society: the machine will pressure whole cities to force a user to give up their basic rights. To try to ignore all they have learned, all those tales of freedom, all those warnings of dystopia, or live in a world that will be always playing the dice so that they are always in the worst. For they know, that no convenience is truly for free, that thank yous will never satisfy a machine of money making.
The steel can make your life the easiest. It only wants one thing.
You.
So learn the linux terminal or fucking else.
Telling young zoomers to "just switch to linux" is nuts some of these ipad kids have never even heard of a cmd.exe or BIOS you're throwing them to the wolves
