Trump racist efforts to eliminate DEI (diversity initiatives) within the US government just resulted with innocent people dying.
According to recent reports, that plane/helicopter crash on January 29th, resulted from a staffing issue & the failure to follow safety measures.
There already existed a committee that oversaw air safety - the Aviation Security Advisory Committee. However on January 21st, Trump fired all the members of that committee. Arguing that it was a waste of resources. Which is funny because the fucker is now saying that the accident could've been prevented. If only he had not fired those in charge of preventing such accidents.
Tumblr media
Also, on January 19th, Elon Musk had asked Trump to fire the director of the Federal Aviation Administration. Because said director demanded Musk's Space X to implement safety measures or else face a hefty fine. The director quit his post the next day, after being pressured to do so. To this day, the FAA does not have a director.
Speaking of the FAA, they had been having a shortage of critical air traffic controllers for years. And of course, Trump made that worse by issuing an anti-DEI executive order to halt recruitement programs that reached out to women and minorities. So now the FAA is limited to only hiring white, straight males.
Speaking of hiring straight white males, Trump appointed Sean Duffy, a former REALITY SHOW "celebrity", to be in charge of travel safety. Who is currently being blasted online for his incompetence and total lack of experience at the job.
I'm posting all of this here, not only because I usually tackle the issues related to DEI. But because the fucking mainstream media refuses to report on Trump's dangerous anti-DEI actions out of fear of facing any repercussions. We're like in freakin' Russia here. With the media being terrified to report facts less they get thrown out a window.
Their silence is complicit, tho. Because they're helping Trump carry out policies that have resulted in people losing their jobs, homes, and as we saw with the recent plane/helicopter crash, even losing their lives.
Anyway, its been less than a month since the orange turd became America's new tyrant. And the country is already fucked.
Have a good day!

I never knew I was missing you 8/9
Jake is just trying to find a connection. Shame the guy he connects with the most is lying about his identity online; because he sure as hell isn't A-list Hollywood star Bradley Bradshaw.
ONE TWO THREE FOUR FIVE SIX SEVEN
PART EIGHT
Jake doesn’t really want to leave, but he doesn’t yet feel comfortable just loitering around in Bradley’s space, no matter how much he’d seems even less happy about Jake leaving. He’s on leave, there’s nothing forcing him to be anywhere but still… He has to maintain his fitness, but Bradley has a fucking home gym and pool, much nicer than anything on base. Plus Bradley is there, which is a pretty big incentive, but also a distraction. Although he supposes they could motivate each other… that could be fun.
Those thoughts keep him occupied the entire drive back, and he should talk to Bradley about them, because he’s certain he would be on board. Wonders when it would be too soon to go back. When he gets out of his car he guesses he shouldn’t be surprised to see Maverick sitting on the steps waiting for him.
              “Sir…”
“Flying colors lieutenant, you passed with flying colors…”
“I wasn’t aware it was a test sir. Was about to raise my concerns about your declining cognitive function with Cyclone…”
Maverick barks a laugh at that and Jake shakes his head, because he supposes it makes sense now, all of Maverick’s questions and his entire attitude. Yeah. He’s already protective of Bradley’s privacy and he’s only known him a short while, regardless of whether he believed him or not.
“I did want to introduce you to him actually. You just beat me to it…”
“Well, you are slowing down in your dotage.”
“Jesus. You and Bradley are perfect for one another… his favorite hobby is giving me shit too.”
“Thought it was restoring pinball machines.”
“He does that when he’s stressed or overwhelmed. If he’s happy and relaxed his favorite hobby is giving shit to the people he loves. We dish it right back of course…”
              “Yeah. He’s, uh… “
“Mmm. He is. Right. I was just popping in to invite you to dinner, family dinner, tomorrow night.”
              “Uh. Where?”
“Bradley’s. Bring an overnight bag,” Maverick instructs with a shit eating grin and Jake just shakes his head, because he’s on leave, he doesn’t have to do what Maverick tells him. Except for the fact that he wants to. Fuck.
              “Yes sir.”
“And let it be a surprise for Bradley. I’ll just tell him I’m bringing a guest.”
“You… you’re a bit of a shit stirrer,” Jake says with dawning realization.
“You’ve only just figured that out?” Maverick asks with a grin and Jake shakes his head, thinks he’s going to enjoy getting to know the people Bradley keeps close almost as much as he’s enjoying getting to know Bradley.
…           …           …
Bradley grins at his phone, the messages from Jake saying he made it back safe and that Maverick is being a dick as per usual, waiting for him when Jake got home. It should make him nervous, having Mav so involved and knowledgeable about his relationship, or the person he’s starting a new relationship with. Instead though it makes him feel settled, that the hurdle of needing to somehow get his approval isn’t there. Maverick already apparently likes Jake, at least according to Slider; who also seems to approve of Jake. Although he’s pretty sure Slider would approve of almost anyone who was an aviator.
He wants to ring him and talk to him, but Jake’s not even been gone a few hours. He doesn’t want to come off as needy but… Jake will be deployed soon enough, and he won’t be able to simply call him and talk to him whenever he wants. So what if other people think they’re moving fast, he agrees with Jake. It isn’t fast if this is what they both want. He presses call and waits for Jake to pick up.
              “Hey…”
              “Hi.
“You miss me?” Jake asks, and Bradley can hear that he’s teasing, that he doesn’t expect a serious answer, or that Bradley is actually missing him. He’s not going to lie.
“Yeah. Actually. I know you just got back to base but I was wondering if you just wanted to… pack up and come back and stay with me until your next deployment.”
              “You serious?”
              “Yeah. Too fast?”
“Who the fuck cares. You want me there I’ll be there… I just. It’s a fucking big house.”
“You’ll figure it out quickly enough. Just think of it as a luxurious base with fewer people.” That earns him a little laugh and he grins, glad that Jake has simply agreed. “I just… I don’t want to waste time being apart when we’ll spend so much time apart anyway.”
“Yeah, that’s a sound argument. Give me a couple of hours.”
“Great. You want your own space or want to share mine?”
“You offering?” Jake asks, like Bradley isn’t obvious.
              “Yes.”
              “Then I’m with you.”
              “Yeah… good.”
              “Good. I’ll see you soon.”
He ends the call with a grin on his face, starts wandering through the house to find Ron or Callie or Neil. He could message them, they have a group chat, but he wants to bask in the moment for a bit.
…           …           …
Jake opens the Dagger group chat, mindful that he’s now pushed for time. Not that Bradley will care if he’s twenty- or thirty-minutes past when he said he’d be there, but Jake cares. Wants to see him again as soon as possible. Honeymoon phase he guesses, he’s never experienced it before. Not like this.
Hangman>> Doing a call in 5 minutes. I have news and either you hear it direct from me or you hear it second hand. Your choice.
While he waits for the five minutes to tick down he packs, able to do so quickly and efficiently. It’s not like he’s going to leave anything behind. He doesn’t need a lot, used to travelling light. He’s packed and ready in seven minutes, and he can see that about seven of the Daggers have responded in the affirmative and he calls the group and waits for them to answer. Phoenix, Coyote, Bob, Fanboy, Fritz, Payback and then Harvard and Yale appear together on one tiny screen. Holy shit, that’s nearly everyone.
“So, is this like… a team meeting?”
“Meh. Little bit. Just wanted to let you lot know I’m not going to be on base for the rest of my leave…”
              “Where are you going?”
“Staying with my boyfriend,” Jake provides, and he’s waiting for Javy’s reaction; isn’t disappointed at the eyes bugging out and silent what the fuck and Jake can’t help but grin. “Also, I’ve got some spare tickets to SDCC next weekend. Anyone want one?”
“Aw man, I bought mine ages ago… how many have you got?”
“Wait. Go back. Someone likes you enough to want you to move in with them? I didn’t think you were seeing anyone…” Fritz says and Jake gives him the finger which simply makes him laugh.
“It’s moved pretty fast, but we’re… well. We figured with deployments we’ll be spending plenty of time apart so might as well make the most of it while I’m here.”
“Make something…” Harvard says and Yale gives him a high five. Jake shrugs, because they’re not wrong and he’s not ashamed.
“Anyway, just wanted to let you know I’ll be down in Capistrano Beach instead.”
“Cool. Happy for you bro. Tickets. How many you got?”
“Uh. Ten. I can get more if I need to probably, but…”
“Holy shit. Did you win the lotto or something?”
“Or something…” Javy says and Jake shoots him a sharp look.
“And as if I needed to add an incentive, but I’m going with my boyfriend. So, if you want to meet him this will be your opportunity…”
“You… are you serious?” Javy asks and Jake’s cheeks are going to be sore from smiling so much but he nods, because yeah, he can’t believe it either but there you go. Javy is mouthing holy shit and Jake shakes his head. Suddenly everyone wants a ticket, making plans to fly back early and he shouldn’t be surprised; knowing they’re a bunch of nosey fuckers.
“It’s a real person right? Not someone you… imagined?” Phoenix asks.
“Fuck you. His name is Bradley and he’s Maverick’s godson, so he can vouch for how real he is.”
“Really?” Javy asks and Jake nods again, but adds a little grimace this time because yeah. Maverick as a potential father-in-law figure is a little bit daunting. He’s not sharing that with Bradley though, it’s so far from being a deal breaker it’s not even worth mentioning.
“Man, I spent so much money on my tickets, and here you are giving them away,” Fanboy moans and Jake feels a little bad for him, can’t and won’t say anything more though.
              “Are we doing costumes?”
“It’s a bit late to try and organize a costume if you don’t have one already…”
“I am definitely doing a costume. Going as a cowboy,” Jake provides.
“A cowboy? You’re meant to be a character, not yourself…”
“Haha. Jedediah, from Night at the Museum,” Jake states, because that had been the movie he and Bradley had watched together first, lazily making out while it played and he’s going to forever have fond memories of it. “Anyway, you don’t have to come in costume unless you want to. Just… they’re four-day tickets. I was thinking of going on the Friday. I know lots of people go on the Saturday, but uh…”
“Friday sounds good,” Javy chips in and Jake shoots him a grateful look. Bradley’s schedule for the Saturday involves two panels and a photo session with fans. He’d suggested Jake try and encourage his friends to come on the Friday when he’d be able to meet them and spend more time with them.
“I’m going every day… that’s the whole point of getting a VIP pass.”
“And that’s why we call you Fanboy.”
…           …           …
“Thanks for coming back…” Bradley murmurs, pressing a kiss to Jake’s shoulder, sweat cooling on their skin and he knows they’re going to need a shower but can’t bring himself to move.
“Yeah, was a real hardship… gorgeous boyfriend, comfortable bed, chance of sex exponentially higher…”
              “Boyfriend huh?”
“Well, not sure what else to call you when you talk about wanting to hang around while I’m deployed. Not exactly dating then are we. Bit more…”
              “Yeah. Bit more serious.”
              “Exactly.”

Drive In
Pairing: Pete “Maverick” Mitchell (Present Day) x Female Reader.
Summary: After unsuccessfully navigating the crazy world of online dating apps, you meet Pete “Maverick” Mitchell and agree to go to a drive-in and perhaps you have finally met your perfect match.
Warnings: Fluff, romantic, some profanity, toxic dating app horror stories.
A/N: This was requested by Anon. Hope y’all enjoy! :)
Tumblr media
Back in the day, Maverick considered himself to be quite the Casanova. It used to be so easy, come so naturally. Maybe because thirty years ago he was a lot younger and his jet black hair wasn't fading. His body was still firm and taunt, in his line of work it was a major priority to keep in shape, but his face had become worn, the skin around his green eyes now had wrinkles.
"You're still a very good looking man," Phoenix told him when she, Coyote, Payback, Bob, and Rooster was helping him make his dating app profile.
All eyes were on her when the aviator quickly added, embarrassed:
"Respectfully speaking, of course, sir!"
The guys chuckled while Maverick tried to hold back his amusement.
Coyote let out a low whistle.
"Ooo, Phoenix got the hots for Captain." He teased.
"I do not!" Phoenix defended. "And I swear to God, if this gets back to Hangman, I'll kill you."
She shot a death glare at Coyote, that made him straighten up quick. She shot the look to all the guys meaning business.
Maverick patted Phoenix on her shoulder to assure her it was OK.
"Thank you, Phoenix. I appreciate the compliment."
He held up his phone and returned his attention back to the profile.
"Are you guys sure this is the right thing to do?"
He wrinkled his brow. The whole process seemed so unnatural to him.
"If you filled out all the questions honestly the algorithm will try to bring you the best possible matches." Bob commented.
"But the algorithm doesn't get it right 100% of the time." Payback added, looking at Maverick.
"What do you mean?" Maverick asked.
"He means there might be a dud or two," Coyote answered.
"But still the odds are in your favor." Phoenix encouraged.
Maverick sighed as he closed the app and pocketed his phone. He was tired of thinking about it for now.
"There used to be a point in time when I could just sing to a woman in a club as a way of flirting."
"Sounds lame," Rooster finally chimed in.
Maverick gave him a pointed look.
"Lame, huh?” Maverick chuckled, the memories coming back to him. It all seemed just like yesterday but also a lifetime ago.  “Guess who was my wingman?"
***
You were two seconds away from throwing your phone across the room. You'd do it, too, not caring if it broke, the only thing was you knew how much you needed the damn thing.
Stupid dating apps. After trying a month without them, you were having zero luck dating out there "in the wild" so, reluctantly, you downloaded the toxic app again, damn well knowing it would all still be the same old bullshit. If it wasn't some fake bot, it was just the same losers over and over you matched with. You were going to pull your hair out if another dude sent "wyd?" at 11 am on a Wednesday.
You wanna know "what I'm doing?", Chad?! You thought. I'm at work at this time, that's where I am! Why aren't you doing the same?!
You didn't even want to think about how you basically had the same conversation over and over with these guys.
"Hello, beautiful baby gurrl. Good mornin!'"
"Hi, there. Good morning."
"How you sleep last night?"
"Just fine, thanks. HBU?"
"It could have been better. I'd rather be waking up next to you, babyyy."
" ... "
"Send me a pic?"
"No."
"Why not? You shy?"
"..."
" Hello?!"
*incoming unsolicited dick pic*
"You like dat? You like what you see? ;)"
" ... "
"Dat could be alll yours and more! You wanna come over later?"
"I don't think so."
"Why not? It's not like I'm gonna kill you..lol"
"...."
"Sooo...you gonna come over or...I could come over there?!"
"No. I don't even know you! I just met you five minutes ago."
"Don't waste my time! Ya know, a lot of girls like what I got. You're lucky I'm even giving you the time of day!"
"..."
"..."
"K. Go text one of them then."
" ... "
"Man, fuck you, bitch. Your loss! I didn't want your ugly ass anyway. LOL."
You sighed. Why was trying to find your person so physically and mentally taxing? Some of your friends actually had good luck on the dating apps but it was just not working out for you. You thought about all your options: keep trying the apps, try in person again, hell maybe even switch teams?! The best option was the idea of becoming an old, single, crazy cat lady. At this point, it sounded like the most peaceful choice.
You were laying on your back on your bed with one arm slung over your eyes, trying to block out all your frustrations.
Your phone next to you vibrated, signaling you had a notification.
Oh great, You thought. Can't wait to see what this one's got to say.
You picked up your phone, punched in your pass code, and opened the app.
Pleasantly surprised was an understatement! You had matched with the most handsome man you'd ever seen on any app ever.
He was definitely older, much older you were sure of it, but the age gap didn't bother you. He only had a few pictures but you saw he had dark hair, green eyes, perfectly chiseled nose and jawline.
Captain Pete "Maverick" Mitchell, USN.
As good as he looked, you couldn't help but have reservations. Living in San Diego, you had been on a few dates with military men before. They could be just as shady as the civilian Joe Blows, if not even more. Plus, he was way too fine looking to still be single. You tried not to judge. Divorced? Widowed? Perhaps he was looking for a last minute fling before his next naval cruise?
Your phone vibrated again and you saw he sent you a message.
"Hi, nice to meet you. I'm Pete Mitchell. But everyone calls me Maverick or "Mav".
"Nice to meet you! I'm Y/N." You typed back. "Cruise to any where fun lately, sailor?"
"What gave it away? The picture of me in my dress whites?"
"Not a bad picture, I must say." It was true. Technically he was old enough to be your father but he was still a smoke show. Silver fox, indeed.
"Ha, ha! Thanks. Ah, no fun cruises. I was recently called back to North Island for work."
You told him what you did for a living and you found out he was career military. A naval aviator for over thirty years. You kept chatting back and forth for the next two days and exchanged numbers. On Friday night Maverick called you.
"Look, I'll be honest with you, Y/N." Maverick explained. "This dating app thing...it's not really my style. My kids put me up to it. They said I needed to get out more and this is the way people do it nowadays. I just don't know..."
"Kids?" You repeated, slightly surprised he never mentioned it before. "You have kids?"
Maverick chuckled. "I'm sorry, I guess I should rephrase that. They're actually a squadron of Top Gun graduates I train. I call 'em my kids even though they're all about thirty-something years old."
You exhaled a sigh of relief. "Oh, I see."
"Anyway," Maverick went on. "How would you like to go out with me tomorrow night?"
You were pleasantly surprised again. Most guys you encountered on the apps were either one extreme or another. Some wanted to come over right away and others it was like pulling teeth to get them to actually take you on a real date.
"Is that OK with you?" Maverick asked.
"Oh, yeah!" You said. "Yes, that would be great! Dinner and a movie?"
"You read my mind," Maverick confirmed. "I was thinking I take you to the drive-in. They're doing an 80's movie theme night."
"Drive-in?" You repeated. You hadn't been there in ages. Maverick must have misunderstood your tone because he went to explain:
"Yeah, it's where they have a big outdoor projection screen and you pull up in your car..."
You burst out laughing.
"Pete," You started. "Come on. I know I'm younger than you but I do know what a drive-in is!"
Maverick laughed at himself.
"Sorry. Of course you do."
"That sounds like fun, Pete. Let's do it."
***
You knew you were breaking your own rules by allowing Maverick to pick you up but you felt like you could trust this man. Your jaw dropped when you saw the forest green vintage race car pull up in your driveway.
"She's a '56," Maverick explained as he helped you into the car. "She can go from zero to one seventy in about six seconds."
"Wow," You said, resting the bouquet he just gifted you in your lap. Out of curiosity, you ran your fingers along the dashboard. You'd never been in a car like this before.
Maverick started the car and began backing out.
"I usually just ride my motorcycle but this seemed more appropriate for the occasion."
You smiled. "I guess you have the need speed on the ground as well as in the air."
Maverick turned to look at you then as he shifted the car into drive and you weren't exactly sure how to describe it. It was like a mixture of surprise, curiousity, and a touch of sadness.
"Did I say something wrong?" You asked, concerned.
Maverick shook his head.
"No," He assured you. "It's just...so funny and...kind of weird you said that. 'The need for speed'. I haven't heard that in a long time. I had a friend I used to say that to. A long time ago. It was like...oh, what do you call it? Something that you and one other person knows?"
"An inside joke?" You suggested.
Maverick smiled. "Yeah," He agreed. "An inside joke."
"You don't talk to that friend anymore?" You asked.
"Oh, I do." Maverick replied. "I sure do. It's just...he's not here with us...physically anymore."
"Oh..." You realized and you felt a twinge of gulit in your stomach. This wasn't the best way to start off a date.
As if reading your mind, Maverick took one hand off the wheel and softly brushed the side of your cheek with the back of his hand. His hand felt callous, the result of decades of working on all sorts of aircraft, but it also felt strangely comforting. The feeling guilt in your stomach dissolved and felt something like butterflies replace it.
"It's OK, sweetheart," Maverick said and he really meant it.
After dinner, you two drove in the drive-in. A triple feature of John Hughes movies were playing. You and Maverick laughed when Kelly LeBrock turned Bill Paxton into a talking blob in Weird Science and cheered as Judd Nelson pumped his fist in the air at the end of The Breakfast Club. The final movie was Sixteen Candles and you couldn't help but sigh when Molly Ringwald finally got to kiss her dream guy.
"This is one of my favorite movies," You said.
"You like the romantic stuff, huh?" Maverick teased and you laughed.
"Yeah, I know it's cliche," You said. "But I can't help it. I'm such a sucker for it."
"Nothing wrong with that," Maverick told you. "Just between you and me...I'm a romantic myself."
He leaned in and kissed you and you couldn't help but smile against his lips.
When the two of you parted, your eyes fluttered open and you said:
"I know we just met but I feel so lucky to have found you. I was about ready to give up. The apps were driving me crazy."
Maverick rolled his eyes at the mention of the dating apps.
"I don't get them either," He said. "But I saw your picture and...I don't know. I just...thought you were really beautiful and I'm glad I met you, too."
You felt Maverick take your hand in his.
"If it's OK with you, would you see me again?"
You smiled and answered by kissing him again.
"Sure, I'd really love that."

New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy said the recent drones which have been sighted in the state are "very sophisticated," saying, "the minute you get your eyes on them, they go dark."
In a Monday press conference, Murphy acknowledged public frustration about the recent surge of mysterious drone sightings but emphasized that authorities have found no evidence of a threat to public safety.
"The most important point to say is we don't see any concern for public safety," he said, adding that local, state, and federal authorities, including the FBI and Homeland Security, are working together to uncover the drones' origins.
Murphy disclosed that there were 49 reported sightings on Sunday, predominantly in Hunterdon County, though he noted some reports might overlap. "These are apparently very, as I understand it, very sophisticated. The minute you get eyes on them, they go dark," he said.
"We're obviously most concerned about sensitive targets and sensitive critical infrastructure," he said. "See, we've got military assets. We've got utility assets. We've got the president-elect, one of his homes here. This is something we're taking deadly seriously."
Murphy urged residents to report drone sightings to local law enforcement or the FBI, promising transparency: "If we have news, I'll let you know the minute we know something."
Newsweek has contacted the governor's office via email for comment.
The sightings, which began last month, have alarmed residents and led to an ongoing FBI investigation.
Drones have reportedly been spotted near the Picatinny Arsenal, a U.S. military facility, and President-elect Donald Trump's Bedminster golf course. In response, the Federal Aviation Administration temporarily restricted drone flights over these locations.
The drones, often described as large, brightly lit, and loud, have also been reported over reservoirs, electric transmission lines, and police stations. Some eyewitnesses have said they are the size of small cars.
A viral video claiming to show a drone crash circulated online, though no official confirmation has emerged.
Joseph Orlando, Florham Park Police chief, called the drones' presence "nefarious in nature," though authorities maintain there is no imminent threat.
Unusual phenomena have been linked to the sightings, including a family's report of their car clock changing while a drone hovered overhead.
Last week, Murphy met with Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and other officials, later posting on social media, "we are actively monitoring the situation and in close coordination with our federal and law enforcement partners on this matter. There is no known threat to the public at this time."
Residents have been asked to report any sightings and to share any videos or photos they may have of the flights by calling the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324) or submitting it online at [email protected].

🎬 LOVERS NOSTALGIA

i got inspiration from one of my upperclassmen during highschool who was president of the aviation club, i always looked up to her and she was so incredibly kind to me. i hope she’s doing well now :)
Tumblr media
Felix glanced down at his phone, double-tapping the fingerprint dappled screen to see no notifications, nothing. He’d been waiting outside the highschool for at least an hour now and the once warm and comfortable rays of suns began to irritate him.
For some background, it had been at least two months since you’ve seen each other, Felix having visited his family back in Australia which left you far away in Korea.
Are you here yet?
You could basically hear the displeasure in his text, imagining your boyfriend huffing and puffing while passerby sent him looks. Cute.
He had no idea why on earth you’d want to see him here. Why not the airport? Have one of those heartwarming reunions he saw online all the time where he’d pick you up, spin you around and give you the biggest kiss of the century. A real kiss, not one through the screen.
Except this wasn’t the airport but your old highschool where you’d specifically instructed him to go in order to see you.
I’ve been here goofball, now you have to find me ;)
Oh you were something else alright. Only for you would he search a highschool. Only for you.
You’re unbelievable.
Despite saying that he searched. And searched and searched. All throughout the highschool, through the cafeteria, the old corridors behind the library, even the science classroom where you’d spilt coffee on his favorite t-shirt. He remembered that like yesterday.
You’d called out and he followed the sound, until his legs were exhausted and he was on his last straw. Dragging himself up the stairs not-so gracefully.
“I.. I give up. Just let me see you. . .” Felix heaved, finally reaching the third floor where he resisted the urge to sit flat on his bottom and wait.
I’m in the Aviation room, come fast!
He stared at the text for a moment, once dissipated energy restoring like new. Running wildly, he slid on his heel at the familiar room. Of course, how could he forget?
“Y/n!!”
There were tears in his eyes when he yelled your name, streaming down his cheeks when you toppled off your stool into a massive hug.
You.
Your scent, your smile, your skin. He missed it so much. You pulled him impossibly closer on the floor, his head buried in your neck.
“Do you remember this room?”
The Aviation room. The nostalgic feeling he got every time he thought about it, where he’d kissed you for the first time and he kissed you again now. The place where he fell in love with you, watching you put so much into the club he called stupid. But he still went to all the meetings, reminded you of all the dates, cheered you on.
“I missed you.”
How could he forget?
