What do they do with memorials in comic universes? I've seen so many statues made after a hero has died to memorialize them but what do you do with them when they come back? It's not really needed anymore, they're alive, and when they inevitably die again do they make a new memorial or repurpose the old one?

#and after they die people have a memorial service! do you do that for every death? at what point is it a waste of money and time?#like ok Superman died thats so sad rip hero lets make a monument and have a vigil in his honor 😭😢😔#then he comes back. ok few years later he dies again. do you put all your money into vigil and monument number 2? like obviously rip and all #but its a year later and guess what hes back again! then afew years goes by and death number 3 at this point your sad but also like really?#do you put up a third monument? have a funeral again? its third time like obviously you love the guy but its a bit excessive #comics #dc comics #marvel comics #marvel #is one statue enough? they could rotate it out when they come back put it in storage for next time. have a hero memorial where eveyone gets #a statue made and the ones currently dead are put out?#have a wearhouse filled with hero statues to interchange? a hologram base so you can just pick a 3d rendering of the dead hero of the month?#jla #teen titans #the avengers #the x men #dc #detective comics
