'Friends' Star Matthew Perry Dead At 54: Reports

Matthew Perry, a beloved actor known for his role as Chandler Bing in the classic ’90s sitcom “Friends,” died on Saturday at age 54, according to TMZ and The Los Angeles Times.

Law enforcement officials told TMZ that the actor was found dead in his jacuzzi at his home in L.A. from what appears to be a drowning incident.

Officials said that no drugs were found on scene.

All right. Here we go. What can I even say?

I guess I'll start by telling the truth: unlike all the friends I've managed to make here in this fandom, I haven't really been here that long. Maybe a year? I've always liked Rush, because my parents and brother did, but they were more in the background until recently, as I ended up falling down the rabbit hole because of PINBALL of all things. Thus, I don't feel like I have the right to miss and mourn Neil as my friends do, because I wasn't here when it mattered. Then again, one of the most common symptoms of grief is wishing you had done more with them, appreciated them while you still had them, and I am no different in this regard. Why didn't I fully get into Rush sooner? If I had, maybe I could have bonded with my parents and brother over them. Maybe I could have gone to see them in concert. Maybe I could have loved and appreciated Neil while he was alive and not now that he's dead.

But I can't do any of that now. All I can do is carry Neil within me, love and appreciate Geddy and Alex while they're still here, and be thankful for all the friends I've made here, and that will have to be enough. As the saying goes: "My grief is tremendous but my love is bigger."

Fr now, my mutual has this cute dog that looks exactly like my nans past dog(Rugie) the looks is so similar from socks to ears and nose that I can't even concentrate everytime I look at him!

Unfortunately I don't have Rugie's photo because the flood took it all away 😢
