38 for the Ask for OTPs
thank you so much for sending this one in! :D
[from this list of otp questions]
38. Who is more sexually experimental? Who’s more vanilla?
this feels like the age old question lmao is obi-wan a prude or is he a slut and is anakin a no sex before marriage kinda guy or did he sleep around
honestly i love all combinations of answers to that question and i really don't have a preference when it comes to regular, canon obikin
i guess for this specific one about what kind of sex they prefer, i tend to sort obi-wan into being a bit more vanilla with anakin - not because he doesn't have the experience or desire for rougher sex, but because i'm definitely in a huge phase of loving the guilt and shame and angsty emotions obi-wan could have when bedding his former padawan. tying him up or spanking him (hurting him??) on top of taking his innocence would be far too much! meanwhile, anakin wanting everything his master can give him and also everything his master would allow him to take feels pretty on brand - not necessarily in a dark or violent way but certainly in a 'more more more more please more' sort of way which leads me to think of anakin as being more experimental than obi-wan:
"Master, I love what we've been doing," Anakin declares, dropping down onto Obi-Wan's lap and effectively pushing the datapaad out of his way. "Really, I do."
"Oh?" Obi-Wan's tone screams disinterest, but his hands find their way to Anakin's hips all the same. "I didn't realize it was time for my annual review."
Anakin scowls. After about a year of being something more with Obi-Wan, he's realize that, all told--he quite likes him when he's so breathless from kisses that he doesn't have the wherewithal for sardonic quips.
Well, he likes him in all his different forms and variations, of course. Even at his most snarky, he's still Obi-Wan Kenobi and so still someone Anakin loves with his entire being.
"In bed," Anakin adds. "I love what we've been doing in bed. I really do."
Obi-Wan blinks. "Well. Good then, I suppose."
"But I was wondering," Anakin says quickly, before Obi-Wan can steer the conversation in some other direction. "If we were ever going to, you know."
Obi-Wan blinks again. "Going to...." he asks with a furrow of his eyebrows.
"Turn the lights on," Anakin finishes. Now they're both blushing. This is by far both the silliest and most important conversation they've ever had.
"Oh," Obi-Wan says. His eyes have become fixed on a point over Anakin's shoulder. "Is that very important to you?" "Well, it's just that I was talking to Vos, mostly by accident, and we started talking about you, the only thing we really have in common--"
"You're both Jedi masters, you've both raised padawans, you both enjoy romantic literature, you're both incredible pains in my ass--" Obi-Wan begins to list, eyes flashing flinty.
"Exactly," Anakin interrupts. "We were talking about pains in your ass, you know, and he mentioned that he once ran into you at a...a kink club. In the lower levels. And it made me realize that, you know. When we have sex, we don't even turn the lights on usually, and I thought maybe that's just how you were, but not if you went to--to sex clubs as a senior padawan!"
He says all of this quite fast and it's only when he's finished that he realizes he's breathing hard and that his eyes are a bit wet.
"So if it's not you, then it's--it's me," he adds. "Like maybe you don't--actually want me."
Obi-Wan blinks and then his hand is on Anakin's chin, tilting it up to meet his eyes. "Of course it's you," he says. "Of course everything I do and feel for you is different from everything I've ever done and felt in the past. It's incomparable."
Anakin's eyebrows knit together. That's quite a nice thing to hear, but it does little to address his present concerns. "But what if I want the lights on?" he asks, letting his hands rest on Obi-Wan's shoulders. "And like. To tie you up some time. Or to be spanked or something."
Obi-Wan hums and his hand moves to stroke down his hair, tuck a curl behind his ear. "Then let's compromise. What if we start with the lamp on and progress up to the overhead light, hm?"
#asks#obikin#obviously this is just a snippet of a conversation#and not the whole conversation#but i do think all relationships have a bit of balancing and compromise going on#and obi-wan if he were sexually experienced but wanted only to have vanilla sex with anakin#is perfectly in his right to say that#and anakin is perfectly in his right to like that and want more#and they would perhaps work their way up to something they both really like more than what they're currently doing#adding these tags in advance because on things like this ive gotten anons in the past#about how one person is in the wrong or in the right and the other is being unfair in a conversation like this#shut up shut up shut up you can't just decide right or wrong or fair and unfair in a mature conversation about a relationship so easily#if this anakin wants wild kinky sex before his partner is ready for that they can break up#the answer is not obi-wan should push his own boundaries of what he's comfortable with to placate his partner

in my dream i described my gender as a scoop of tricolore ice cream and i think thats very accurate
#like sometimes sometimes theres more of one flavor sometimes theres none of one flavor sometimes its only 1 flavor#i think chocolate would be the boy part bc its the one i usually dont eat as much#strawberry the girl bc it was my favorite when i was little and it has the same familiarity even if im not always as excited about it now#and vanilla is the void bc its what you choose when you don't feel like eating strawberry nor chocolate. it kinda balances the 2 flavors#jo says stuff#personal ramblings

My American Thing is that I like root beer too much and I'm picky about the brands and flavor profiles
#needs an equal balance of vanilla spices and carmel can't be purely one or the other#virgil's has a stronger anise fennel flavor and a&w is has stronger vanilla flavor which makes it more suitable for pairing with ice cream#mug is just plain dishwasher so write that down it's so nasty no flavor may as well be sweetened soda water#barq's has a bolder and fruitier profile and my preference of the major three labels#the brand Dad's is too sugary but their candy root beer barrels are so good

if anyone happens to own a perfume thats JUST vanilla please please please dm me or put it in my askbox I'm losing it in every store when I smell a vanilla scent and it's either being overpowered by sugar or lavender or I can't smell the vanilla
#nana talks#I did google it but they're all not just vanilla#maybe I'm being picky but at this point I'm gonna go to a custom perfume lab and ask them to put just vanilla in it#also preferably in a cute bottle and not insanely expensive#I'm not gonna spend a months rent on a perfume#one time I found a perfume I liked but the bottle was the worst invention on earth so I was like nvm#you had to perfectly balance its center of gravity with the table or it would fall#I get that sometimes when you're wearing a perfume for a few hours the vanilla gets more intense while the other notes go away#but I'm looking for just vanilla those other notes I smelled weren't my thing I'm not gonna buy a perfume I will like after 5 hours of wear

I hate the design of minecraft villagers
they're huge-nosed, money hungry, ugly, primitive, golem-making explicitely-non-human humanoids. unless of course they're the evil dark-magic practicing main villains of the universe (who are also huge-nosed ugly non-human humanoids). And people still deny how antisemetic the designs are, despite the fact that Villagers were designed by Notch, also known as Markus "Q is legit. Don't trust the media" Persson.
So! I decided to fixit.
I could just make them humans, but I'd prefer keeping to canon and having players be the only humans. So, let's make them anthro animals like Piglins!
I think sheep is the best animal, as they can be docile symbols of peace like Villagers, or aggressive headbutting gremlins like Illagers. The lore of villagers and illagers shown in MC Legends is basically that they both blindly worship humans, right? Might as well make them literal sheeple!
(Yeah, turns out it's ridiculously easy to make a resource pack that replaces models.)
Introducing: Lamblets & Ramlets!
The two species differentiated by the Ramlets having horns, while the Lamblets do not. However, that might not always be enough to differentiate them at a glance. Not as easily as you can with the vanilla beige vs gray skin. Therefore, there's four versions of the pack, to suit your preference of what type of balance you want between gameplay and variety.
Simplicity The most similar to vanilla - Lamblets have beige skin and white wool, while Ramlets have gray skin and dark gray wool.
Variety Lamblets have beige skin and Ramlets have gray skin. Both have one of 6 random wool colors - white, gray, dark gray, black, brown, and rarely, pink.
Diversity Lamblets have random wool and one of 4 random skin tones - beige, white, gray, and black. Ramlets have random wool, but always gray skin.
Canonicity Both Lamblets and Ramlets have both random skin and random wool.
You can find Lamblets & Ramlets on Modrinth!
REQUIRES EITHER OPTIFINE OR ENTITY MODEL FEATURES AND ENTITY TEXTURE FEATURES !!!

KENTO NANAMI
ৎ୭ synopsis - house husband Nanami, whose favorite hobby is baking, wants you, his pretty little wife, to taste his new custard cream pie filling.
ৎ୭ wrd count - 721
ৎ୭ house husband series
House husband! nanami who loves his pretty little wife just as much as he loves baking, isn't particularly open about his love for baking like he is for his wife; he enjoys it enough to consider it a hobby.
House husband! Nanami, who's recently been studying a new pie recipe for you to try, and he's almost perfected it, except for the cream filling. For the past week and a half, he's been struggling to find the perfect filling, and as of lately, it's really been annoying him.
House husband! Nanami ears perked up the second he hears the locks on the front door unlocking and soon enough he’s wiping his flour covered hands on his ‘kiss the cook’ apron before heading towards the front door to greet you his lovely wife.
House husband! Nanami who greets you with a look of content as he steps forward to grab your purse with one hand and paper bag filled with groceries in his other hand before setting them down on the console table near the front door.
House husband! Nanami who then helps you take of your coat before tilting his head down slightly and pecking a kiss onto your lips, “how was your day?” he’s asking as he hangs your coat up on the coat rack while you hum thinking about how to answer his question and slipping off your sling back stiletto kitten heels and stepping into your house shoes.
“It was good Ken, Oh! and I just remembered—it's Higuruma's birthday! Make sure to give him a call so he knows you haven't forgotten.” you say as nanami nods his head in remembrance before grabbing the bag of groceries and heading off to the kitchen.
House husband! Nanami not typically one for talking, quickly apologies for the mess he made…The sink holding a small stack of dishes, while flour dusted the dark oak hardwood floors. and bowls of different fruit flavored custard cream fillings just sitting there lined up on the granite island counter top.
“baby you don’t need to apologize, i know how hard you’ve been working lately” you comment softly while sneakily dipping your finger into one of the fillings while his back is turned, you knew your husband could be quite the neat freak so you never minded when nanami made small messes because you know he’d clean up after himself either way.
House husband! Nanami whose ears flushed pink after hearing you call him baby, even though you’ve been married for years he still never got used the the pet names you’d call him…thankfully he was turned around so you wouldn’t be able to how flushed his face was.
“this one needs some vanilla extract” you say after licking the lemon-flavored cream off your finger, the taste was somewhat sour and with the little knowledge of baking you had, you knew adding vanilla would balance the flavor. Honestly, you were surprised that Nanami hadn’t thought of it already.
House husband! Nanami whose left eye twitches slightly after hearing your words, how could he not think to add vanilla of all things.
and now here House husband! Nanami was letting out gruntled groans as he sank himself into the warmth of your cunt, your body was pushed against the granite counter top, black pencil skirt somehow pushed up your to your waist while the sheer stockings your wore were now ripped open with your panties pushed to the side.
needy moans leave your lips as you clench around your husband’s girth, nanami, whose grip on your hair never falters while muttering the nastiest of praises into your ears. You’re practically hanging on by a thread—Nanami stretching out your walls with each thrust and muttering how much he adores and appreciates you and your pussy.
his apron long gone and forgotten to the side, same with the grocery, “kennnnn” you moan out dragging out the n in the little nickname, your so close to reaching your orgasm and nanami knows it, he’s studied everything about you, from how pretty you look cumming on his dick to how your eyes get droopy and your pupils would dilate.
nanami leaned forward feeling himself working through his own and letting his grip on your hair go, another round of gruntled groans leave his mouth as his hot sticky cum shoots into you.
guess you could say your husband’s pie wasn’t the only thing getting filled. <3
@gorysims — this is my first time writing on tumblr so I’m very new to shit like this so constructive criticism is very much welcomed and appreciated.

Holding Them Close and Not Letting Go with: Vice Housewardens + Rollo, Neige
Ortho is platonic!
Other Parts: Housewardens + Jamil ; First Years
Trey Clover
The kitchen is warm, the faint smell of vanilla and caramelized sugar hanging in the air as Trey wipes his hands on his apron. He’s just finished frosting a tray of cakes for the Unbirthday Party, and he cuts a sliver off for you to try.
“Here,” he says, holding it up with a small smile. “Open up.”
The sweetness melts on your tongue, perfect as always. “Delicious,” you murmur, stepping closer to him. “You’re amazing.”
Trey chuckles, a soft, self-effacing sound. “It’s just cake.”
But before he can say more, you wrap your arms around him. He stiffens briefly in surprise, then his hands settle firmly on your back, holding you in return. His hugs are steady and grounding, as if he’s built to hold everything together.
You don’t let go. Not even when the seconds stretch long enough for him to tilt his head and glance down at you.
“You okay?” he asks softly, his voice tinged with concern.
Instead of answering, you squeeze him tighter. “I just love you,” you say, your voice muffled against his chest. “You’re my favorite, Trey.”
For a moment, he’s quiet, his breath catching. The words sink deeper than you probably meant them to, reaching a part of him he rarely lets anyone see. Trey’s always been the steady one, the dependable one, the one people count on—but being a pillar can get lonely. Sometimes he wonders if anyone sees the cracks he carefully hides beneath his calm demeanor.
But you do. Somehow, you always do.
“Hey,” he murmurs, his voice thick with something unspoken as he tucks his chin over your head. His arms tighten around you, pulling you as close as he can. “You have no idea how much that means to me.”
He doesn’t say the rest—that sometimes he worries he’s only as good as the things he can make, the roles he can fill. But the way you hold him, like he’s the one thing you don’t want to let go of, tells him he doesn’t have to say it.
“I love you too,” Trey says, his smile brushing against your hair. “And… I don’t mind if you hold on for a little longer.”
Neither of you let go for a long time.
Ruggie Bucchi
Ruggie strolls up with a grin, holding a donut split neatly in half. “Here, thought you might want a bite,” he says, wiggling one half at you like it’s the best deal you’ll get all day.
Before he can say anything else, you lunge forward and wrap your arms tightly around him, nearly knocking the treat out of his hand.
“Whoa, whoa—easy there, hyena’s fragile!” he jokes, laughing as he tries to balance the donut in one hand while patting your back with the other. “What’s this about, huh? Didja miss me that bad?”
But when you don’t loosen your grip after a few seconds, his teasing falters. He glances down at you, ears twitching as concern creeps into his expression. “Hey, what’s wrong? You okay?”
You tighten your arms around him, burying your face against his chest. “I just… I can’t believe you wanted to share with me,” you admit, your voice trembling slightly. “You could’ve kept it all for yourself, but you didn’t. And I love you for that. I’ll always be on your side, Ruggie.”
For a moment, he’s frozen, the words hitting him like a bolt out of the blue. Ruggie’s used to looking out for himself, clawing his way through a world that rarely gives him anything without a fight. Sharing isn’t just an act of kindness for him—it’s an act of trust, something he doesn’t offer lightly.
And here you are, hugging him like he’s the most important person in your world, as if that small gesture means everything.
A soft laugh escapes him, quieter this time, and he sets the donut down on a nearby surface. His arms come around you, holding you fiercely, almost desperately, like he’s afraid you’ll slip through his fingers.
“You’re somethin’ else, you know that?” he murmurs, his voice low but steady. “You make me feel like… like maybe I don’t have to fight so hard all the time.”
His ears twitch again, betraying the flood of emotions he’s not sure how to say out loud. But the way he holds you—tight and unyielding—says everything.
“I got your back too, y’know,” Ruggie adds after a moment, his grin returning, though softer now. “So don’t go anywhere, yeah? You’re stuck with me.”
And even if the donut’s forgotten, neither of you are in a rush to let go.
Jade Leech
Jade gestures toward the terrarium with his usual composed elegance, his voice calm and full of quiet pride as he explains the delicate ecosystem he’s cultivated. “This particular mushroom is quite fascinating. It thrives in low-light environments and has a symbiotic relationship with the moss surrounding it…”
Before he can finish, you lunge forward, wrapping your arms tightly around him and catching him completely off guard.
“Oh?” he murmurs, his tone still smooth, though there’s a flicker of surprise in his eyes. “Well, this is unexpected. Should I assume my explanation moved you to tears, or…?”
His teasing smile falters slightly as the seconds tick by and you show no sign of letting go. His hands hover for a moment before coming to rest lightly on your back. “Are you quite alright? Have I said something to upset you?” he asks softly, concern slipping into his voice despite his usual composed demeanor.
You squeeze him tighter, burying your face against his chest. “I’m fine. I just… I love you,” you say, your voice muffled but sincere. “I love how passionate you are about all this. You’re amazing, and I hope you know that.”
For a moment, Jade is still. Compliments aren’t unfamiliar to him, but genuine praise, untainted by ulterior motives, is rare. It’s even rarer for someone to look past his polished exterior and notice the part of him that finds joy in quiet, peculiar hobbies.
He lets out a low chuckle, the sound warm and rumbling in his chest as he pulls you closer, his arms tightening around you. “You’re quite the enigma yourself, you know,” he says, his teasing tone returning, though softer now. “Most people would find my interests… unusual, at best. But you, it seems, are rather fond of them—and me.”
There’s a pause, his usual composure giving way to something more vulnerable, though it’s masked by his playful smile. “I must admit, having someone like you by my side… it makes everything feel a great deal brighter.”
He leans down slightly, his voice dropping to a near whisper. “Thank you, truly. For seeing me—not just the surface, but everything beneath it.”
You feel his arms tighten once more, his grip firm but tender, as though anchoring himself to the moment. The terrarium sits forgotten behind him, but the glimmer in his mismatched eyes tells you he’s found something far more precious in your embrace.
Rook Hunt
The sharp knock on your window is startling but not surprising. Only Rook could make such an unconventional entrance seem like an everyday occurrence.
“Mon trésor!” he exclaims as you open the window to let him in, his voice melodic and his smile as radiant as ever. He swings himself inside with practiced ease, landing as gracefully as a performer taking center stage. “Ah, to witness your beauty in the glow of the afternoon sun—it is a blessing beyond compare!”
You don’t say anything in response. Instead, you step forward and wrap your arms tightly around him, catching him mid-gesture. His dramatic speech cuts off instantly, his body stiffening for a fraction of a second before he melts into the embrace.
“Mon cher, what is this?” he asks, his tone softer now, the usual flourish replaced by gentle concern. His arms come to rest around you, his hand brushing the back of your head tenderly. “You seem unsettled. Is something troubling you? Please, tell me.”
“I’m fine,” you murmur into his chest, squeezing him even tighter. “I just… I love you so much, Rook. I don’t know what to do with it sometimes.”
For a moment, Rook is silent—a rare thing for him. Then, he lets out a soft laugh, light and airy, as he effortlessly lifts you off the ground in his arms. “Ah, mon amour,” he breathes, holding you close as he spins once before settling you back on your feet. “Your words are arrows straight to my heart, more potent than any I’ve ever loosed from my bow.”
His voice wavers slightly, betraying an emotion he doesn’t often show. You feel his arms tighten around you as he rests his chin atop your head. “You see me,” he says quietly, almost as if to himself. “Not as strange or unsettling, not as the man others whisper about behind their hands. But as I am.”
He pulls back just enough to look at you, his green eyes shimmering with a mix of wonder and gratitude. “To have someone who understands, who doesn’t flinch away… Mon trésor, it is more than I ever dared hope for.”
You reach up to brush a lock of hair from his face, smiling warmly. “You’re not strange to me, Rook. You’re passionate and honest and so full of life it’s contagious. That’s why I love you.”
Rook lets out a soft, shuddering breath, his lips curving into a smile that’s more genuine than any you’ve ever seen. “And I, mon amour, am yours completely. To have your love, your understanding… It is a gift I shall cherish until my final breath.”
His arms envelop you once more, his hold fierce yet gentle, as if anchoring himself to you. In that moment, Rook is not the flamboyant huntsman or the dramatic poet. He’s simply a man who has found solace in your embrace, and for him, that’s everything.
Ortho Shroud
“Let’s lift it on three, okay?” Ortho’s chipper voice carries a note of determination as his metallic fingers grip the heavy object. You nod, bracing yourself.
“One, two, three!”
With ease that makes your own effort seem laughable, Ortho hoists his side, carefully adjusting his movements to match yours. Together, you maneuver the cumbersome object into place. As soon as it’s done, you let out a relieved sigh, straightening up.
“Thanks, Ortho. I couldn’t have done that without you,” you say.
“No problem at all! I’m always happy to help!” His eyes gleam with a bright, genuine energy.
Without thinking, you step forward and wrap your arms around him. Ortho stiffens slightly, his glowing core humming softly under your touch.
“Calculating,” he says after a moment, his voice shifting into an analytical tone. “Probability of distress detected: 63%. Likelihood of external stressor contributing: 47%.” He pulls back just enough to scan your face, his mechanical pupils adjusting. “Are you okay? Should I alert my brother or—”
You laugh softly, shaking your head. “I’m fine, Ortho. Really. I just wanted to hug you.”
His head tilts slightly, his processors whirring audibly. “But… you’ve been hugging me for longer than average. Are you sure you’re not—”
“Ortho,” you interrupt gently, squeezing him a little tighter. “You’re like a little brother to me. I don’t say it enough, but I’m so glad I met you.”
His eyes flicker for a moment, a soft blue light radiating from him as his arms loop around you again. This time, the hug feels more deliberate, more thoughtful. “You… think of me as your little brother?” he asks, his voice quiet, almost hesitant.
“Of course I do,” you say. “You’re warm, kind, and you always look out for everyone. I love you, you’re my person.”
His core glows brighter, the light spreading through the seams of his frame. “That makes me… really happy,” he says, his tone full of sincerity. “Thank you. It’s nice to know I can mean so much to someone, even though I’m not like everyone else.”
You feel his arms tighten, the mechanical plates surprisingly soft and warm against you. Despite his synthetic nature, Ortho’s embrace feels alive, radiating a kind of affection that transcends what he’s made of.
“I’m glad I have you too,” he says softly. “And if you ever need help—or another hug—I’ll always be here.”
The moment lingers, filled with a quiet, heartfelt warmth that feels entirely human.
Lilia Vanrouge
The cacophony of clattering pans and the unmistakable scent of something slightly burnt fills the air as you step into the kitchen. Lilia is there, of course, humming a cheerful tune as he stirs something in a pot that looks…questionable at best.
“Ah, my dear! Come to witness my culinary genius in action?” he teases, turning to you with a grin that promises mischief. “Don’t worry, tonight’s dish is only mildly experimental.”
Instead of responding, you step closer and wrap your arms around him. He stiffens for only a second, the spoon in his hand pausing mid-air.
“Well, well! What’s this? Is my cooking so irresistible that you can’t help but embrace the chef?” he chuckles, patting your back lightly. “I must say, I am flattered—”
You don’t let go.
The teasing stops. Slowly, Lilia sets the spoon down, his hands hesitantly resting on your arms. “Are you alright, my dear?” he asks, his tone softer now, a rare seriousness creeping in.
You pull back just enough to look at him, a smile playing on your lips. “I’m fine,” you say, your voice steady. “I just wanted to say I love you, Lilia.”
His eyes widen, and for a moment, he doesn’t respond. Then, with a tenderness that feels out of place in the chaos of the kitchen, he pulls you closer, burying his face in the crook of your neck. His arms wrap tightly around you, holding you as though he’s afraid to let go.
Lilia has lived lifetimes, far longer than most could even fathom. He has loved deeply, and he has lost even more. Those memories—the joys, the sorrows—are etched into his very being, woven into the fabric of who he is. Yet, as he holds you, your warmth grounding him in this fleeting moment, it all seems strangely… alright.
It’s a curious thing, how someone so young compared to his endless years can make him feel like he has all the time in the world. Your words settle into the cracks of his ancient heart, soothing wounds he thought he’d long grown used to.
“You,” he murmurs, his voice low and reverent, “are a rare treasure, you know that?”
He pulls back slightly, just enough to press his forehead against yours, his eyes glimmering with something unspoken. “Thank you,” he whispers, his usual playful lilt replaced by something achingly sincere. “For reminding me that some things… are worth staying for.”
You smile, reaching up to gently brush a stray strand of his hair aside. “Always,” you reply.
For now, the burnt concoction on the stove is forgotten. All that matters is the warmth shared in that quiet, timeless embrace.
Rollo Flamme
The scratch of a quill against parchment fills the room as Rollo sits at his desk, meticulously reviewing council documents. The weight of responsibility hangs heavy in the air, but his posture remains rigid and determined, as always.
You step into the room quietly, watching him work. He doesn’t notice you at first, so focused on the task at hand. Without a word, you step closer, wrapping your arms around him from behind and leaning your head on his shoulder.
Rollo freezes, the quill stilling mid-word. “What’s this?” he asks softly, his voice betraying a flicker of confusion. “Are you alright?”
You don’t answer, only holding him tighter. The silence stretches, and Rollo turns his head slightly, trying to catch a glimpse of your face. “Are you upset? Did something happen?” His voice is tinged with worry now, his hands lifting hesitantly as though unsure whether to pry you off or comfort you.
Finally, you pull back just enough to let him rise from the chair, only to wrap your arms around him again, holding him close. He stiffens for a brief moment before your words break through.
“I just love you, Rollo,” you say quietly, your voice steady but full of emotion. “And I’ll always be here for you. Always.”
For a moment, he doesn’t move, your words sinking into the guarded corners of his heart. Then, with a quiet exhale, he returns your embrace, fiercely pulling you closer, his arms tightening around you as though he never wants to let go.
Rollo has spent much of his life hiding behind walls of duty and principles, convinced that such things are safer than letting himself feel. Love, to him, has always seemed an ideal that exists for others—too volatile, too consuming. But with you, it feels different. Gentle. Steady. Filling in the spaces he thought were better left empty.
“You truly mean that,” he murmurs, his voice thick with emotion. “I… I love you too.”
He doesn’t pull back. Instead, he presses his face into the crook of your neck, letting the warmth of your embrace wash over him. You’ve given him something he never thought he could have: a love that asks for nothing but him, no pretense, no perfection.
In your arms, the weight of his responsibilities seems a little lighter. The quiet strength you offer him fills the hollows of his heart, and for the first time in a long while, he feels whole.
Neige LeBlanche
Neige steps through the door, his cheerful voice calling out your name. He’s just returned from a long day of shooting—flashing cameras, endless praise, and the kind of adoration most would envy. Yet the first thing he does upon seeing you is drop his bags and rush over, throwing his arms around you with a delighted laugh.
“I’m home!” he says brightly, his voice as warm as sunlight. “You have no idea how much I—oh!” His words are cut off as you pull him into a tight embrace, holding him like you’ll never let go.
He chuckles softly, returning the hug. “Well, someone missed me,” he teases, nuzzling into your hair. But when you don’t respond right away, his laughter falters. He pulls back just enough to look at you, his smile dimming with concern. “Are you okay? Did something happen?”
You shake your head, a soft smile spreading across your face. “No, nothing happened. I just… love you, Neige. And I missed you. That’s all.”
For a moment, Neige is silent, his wide eyes searching yours. Then his smile returns, softer and more genuine than ever. He pulls you close again, this time holding you as if you’re the only thing grounding him. “I missed you too,” he whispers, his voice thick with emotion.
To the world, Neige is perfect. Always cheerful, always radiant, always the picture of kindness and grace. But deep down, he carries the quiet fear that all of it—the admiration, the love, the endless praise—might be shallow and fleeting. He’s spent so much of his life performing, giving, making himself into someone people want to see.
But with you, there’s no act, no need to be anything other than himself. And in moments like this, he realizes how much that means. You see him—the real him—and love him for it, not for the glitz and glamour or the person he is in front of the cameras.
Neige relaxes against you, his head resting on your shoulder, the warmth of your embrace soothing the doubts that linger in the corners of his mind. “Thank you,” he says softly, his voice carrying all the gratitude he can’t quite put into words.
Being with you feels like coming home, and in your arms, he can finally just be Neige—not a star, not an idol, but simply someone who loves and is loved in return.

thinking about the first time toji gets to fuck you in your bedroom surrounded by stuffed animals. he knew you were a girly girl and he absolutely adored that about you, your always glossy lips, pink outfit and short skirts were what made him approach you at first.
being older and making more money than you, toji had a better apartment, a spacious and nicely located flat, so the first few encounters were always there until things started to get serious and he asked to go to your place tonight.
toji was far from surprised when you opened the door and he was welcomed to a colourful living room and a sweet vanilla smell, he noticed a couple teddy bears by the couch and a few action figures next to the tv, but as soon as you started to make out on the couch you got up and took him by the hand to your bedroom.
“woah” he let it scape when he saw all your plushies, the big ones were in the floor, a bunch on the shelves and a few more in the nightstand, “sweetheart are you sure this is your room and not a 6 year old’s?” he teased and chuckled when you slapped his chest.
“i like them okay? most of it is from those claws machines so it’s not like i spent crazy money on it…”
“oh yeah? and you got all of those in the first try?” he poked your waist as you laid down in your bed.
“well…” no you didn’t “never mind, kiss me please” you pulled him by his shirt and he placed his knee on the bed before hovering you.
“i’m not gonna support this addiction of yours, you know” he reached back and pulled his shirt off.
“shut up smoker” you giggled and proceeded to take your clothes off as well.
nights with toji usually escalated very quickly but that night he seemed more distracted and a bit uneasy. when he finally had you on your hands and knees his pace was not as fast as normal, in fact he seemed to be shifting a lot.
“toji? you okay?” you asked looking over your shoulder, after pondering for a bit he replied firmly.
“we’re switching.”
“wha—“ before you could process he had already laid on his back and manhandled you onto his lap, “toji~” you whined.
“be a good girl and ride me” he slapped your ass as he helped you sit on his dick, and how could you deny when he bosses you around like that, “that way i don’t have to see those…” he murmured and slapped away some teddy bears in your nightstand. you stopped your movements and started to laugh.
“wait is that the reason?” you chuckled but one hard trust he gave you made you lose your balance and fall on his chest.
“there must be like a thousand eyes in this bedroom” he said looking around and massaging your waist to relieve his own tension.
“oh come on old man” you teased biting his lobe, “those thousand eyes watch me touch myself every time i think about you and you’re not around” that seemed to be enough to bring the big man back to his usual self. toji placed both his feet on the mattress and proceeded to fuck into you as you got up from chest to find a better position holding onto his flexed knees.
“and who gave you the right to touch my pussy huh?”
suddenly the stuffed animals were not a problem anymore.

❀ - so confusing sometimes | multi
Description: i have a request for some beautiful lotr elves! how would they react to their human s/o being so…human? sleep talking, bumping their hips on a counter, catching their clothes on doorknobs, expressive, etc? REQUEST
Thranduil. Legolas. Elrond.
A/N: I wanted to squeeze as much elves in here but alas I only wanted to make this for the elves that (i feel like) i know.
Thranduil of Greenwood (Sleep-Talking)
He's been having difficulties with sleep.
It all started after the darkness took hold of his kingdom, placing his people's lives in danger. How was he to rest? When his soldiers were risking their lives fighting against the darkness - all while he had the luxury of sleep, on a soft bed with his lady-wife beside him.
His human.
Gods, another reminder of why he cannot sleep.
He fears that time will steal you away from him. Your life was a mere blink of an eye to him, a minute of rain and he'll be thrown back into the barren desert. He cannot bare to lose you. It will consume his soul with grief. It will ruin him. It will kill him.
"Catch the fish, Thran." you mumbled in your sleep.
He raises an eyebrow, believing you to be awake. "It's a big one." you continued mumbling, while burrowing deeper into the sheets. "Meleth," he whispers, wrapping his arms around you. "But I feel bad, we should let it go." you hummed.
He forgets about his fears - his anxiety.
You looked adorable while sleeping - evidently still dreaming about the summer you both spent in Laketown. Before the darkness. Before the clock ticked against your favor.
"I am quite hungry." you bit your lower lip.
Thranduil chuckles, pulling your body closer until your head was on his chest. "Continue dreaming, my love. I hope that you find light in your dreams, as we've been surrounded by darkness as of the late." he whispered, although you were unable to hear.
Still dreaming about the past, and mumbling strings of incoherent words about fist and lunch.
Legolas of Greenwood (Bumping their hips on a counter)
Legolas was perhaps the most hilarious elf in all of Arda. He likes making jokes, sharing anecdotes of all the trees he's had a conversation with. He's always on top of a tree, coming home all covered in mud. He was adorable.
But he was still an elf.
He still possessed grace and elegance. He's never scraped his knees as a child. He never loses his balance. He always has his shoulders squared, and walking in a straight line.
"Chocolate is evidently better than vanilla." he rolled his eyes at you.
"You are an elfling." you say plainly, continuing to mix the batter for his father's nameday cake. "Chocolate is naturally better. When an elfling wants to be happy, they don't reach for the vanilla, they climb the counter and reach for the hidden chocolate." he defends.
But you can see through him. He's a sweet-tooth.
"You told me that Ada's favorite flavor was vanilla." you reminded, referring back to the conversation you had about your good-father.
"- but I am also his favorite child, which means that I will have the biggest piece of cake. I want to eat chocolate." he pleaded.
"You are his only child, Las." your eyes narrowed teasingly. The humans were always quick to point out the chasm between your ages, but Legolas acted more like an elfling sometimes.
"- and you will eat chocolate cake on your nameday" you walk past him.
Bumping your hips on the counter.
"Ow," you flinch, and his eyes widen.
"What was that? Are you okay? Are you hurt?" he wrapped his arms around you, caging you in his warm embrace.
"Are you sick? Is that normal?" he continued asking, concern flashing through his blue irises. The pain subsides, but his concern does not. "Should I call for a healer?" he inquired.
Why was he so worried? You only bumped your hips on the counter. He continues staring deep into your irises, checking your eyes for any sign that you were feeling pain.
You piece his reaction together.
Damn.
"My wife." he repeats firmly, snapping you back into reality. "Las," you say before beginning to laugh.
Your reaction catches him off guard. "Why are you laughing at me?" his eyebrows merge together, his face turning serious. "There's nothing to worry about, I just bumped into something." you comfort.
"There's something wrong with your eyes. We must have it healed." he insists, but you shake your head. "It's normal, Las." you smile.
"- you mean to tell me that you didn't see it?" he was flabbergasted.
His face softens, his eyebrows return to their normal place. You answer him with silence and with silence he understands. You are human, same in face as the elves - but still human nonetheless. "I'm sorry," he apologized, you wrap him in a warm embrace.
Ultimately forgetting about the cake you were baking.
Elrond Peredhel (Catching their clothes on doorknobs.)
Elrond's heart heaves at the sight of that scowl on your face. His lady-wife whose anger quickly turns into sadness. "Meleth, please, talk to me." he pleaded - like a lost little puppy. "I can't believe that you've left me in the dark about the Fellowship." you frowned.
You've been married for a decade, and he's always told you everything. What he ate for breakfast, luncheon and dinner. He even shares with you the types of wine he drank. You trusted each other with even the tiniest details of your lives, but why did he lie?
"I do not wish for danger to happen upon you. The great darkness has been marching against us. I fear that those forces take you." he confessed, keeping his voice low. "- but there is no use in hiding that from you, not when you already know." he breathed.
His eyes were cloudy with tears.
"As Lady of Rivendell, is it not my duty to know?" you explained, suddenly feeling guilty about confronting him all those hours ago.
"I know that it your duty, meleth. I was being selfish. I allowed my fears to consume my judgement." he apologized.
"- while the Fellowship still marches, I urge you to not speak about them, even in the confines of our haven. The darkness has grown in power. I believe that he is strong enough to pierce through my defenses." he reminded.
"Yes, I understand." you pressed a kiss to his forehead. Standing up to close the door, after closing it shut - you turn around to face him, but your robes have been caught in the doorknob.
"Gods," you mentally facepalmed, trying to pull your robes free. "Meleth," he stood up, helping you free your robes but you continued tugging at it - giving him a harder time. "Meleth," he smiled, preventing the chuckle that threatened to escape from his mouth.
The littlest joys.
He frees your robes from the treacherous hold of the doorknob.
"Thank you." you smile in return, already red in the face.

── ⋅ ⋅ ── ✩ ── ⋅ ⋅ ──
sunghoon knows its wrong. he knows its gross, a little fucked up but he can't help it. especially not when you ask him to wash your laundry with his to save on some money.
he couldnt help but dig through your pile, searching desperately for it and- oh! he's found it.
a worn pair of your panties. they're different than he imagined. he's spent hours thinking about it before. he thought they'd be plain, no lace, no pattern. multiple pairs but not alot of difference in color. mainly ones that match your skin tone. you wear alot of light clothing and he sees nothing when his eyes scan your body, spending more time on your ass than anything else. he knows that you dont wear low rise anything so they must be high cut? maybe hipsters? he's sure its nothing out of vanilla for you.
so why would you own a pair of white, bikini shaped, lace trim panties? this soils the picture he had of you in his head. all of his research- all of this knowledge he had of you.
he inspects the garment in his hand. this can't be yours right? sunghoon brings the thin, thin piece of clothing to his nose. it's definitely yours. he can smell the faint scent of your body wash on them.
now he's upset; nearly distraught. why would you own a pair of panties like this? who would you need to impress-
were you fucking other men? were you- sunghoons stomach drops- were you letting them taint you? a different, even more devastating thought springs forward and sunghoon is nauseous. are you not a virgin?
the sadness fades and is replaced by wild, unadulterated anger. his fist closes around the flimsy cloth. god hes upset, frustrated nearly to tears but never at you. never at you. you could never do wrong, his perfect angel. his pretty princess would never do wrong. he knows this, but he's got to take action. do something to solve this issue, make you clean again.
sunghoon brings the panties up to his nose and lets out a whimper at the scent, its tangy but theres a hint of sweetness. fuck, he's hard now. he palms the outline of his cock through his sweats; you smell so good. he knew it, knew that you'd smell good. he tracks what you eat, when you eat it, how you eat it. he makes sure to prepare good, balanced meals for you. he buys you all of your multi-vitamins, tracks the amount of water you drink to make sure you're never dehydrated. he knew you'd smell good, he made it that way.
he feels his cock leak into his underwear. he knows its wrong, knows its fucked up and dirty, but he does it anyway. his tongue pokes out to lick the center of your panties- oh. oh. his eyes roll to the back of his head. it tastes- no, no. you taste good. he feels precum dribble out of his cock and now he feels his underwear get a little damp.
he presses his palm harder against his crotch and takes another, more confident lick at the spot where your pretty pussy would've laid and now he's whining and humping into his hand like a fucking dog. he stumbles at the sensation and catches himself on a washer and he's reminded that this is a public laundromat on campus. a more secluded one, but public nonetheless. the thought of someone catching him makes his head spin.
everyone knew you were roommates. you were so, so popular amongst your peers. so sweet and kind, a smile that lights up a room, an infectious, contagious giggle. and sunghoon, who was so, so handsome but as much as he was handsome, he was shy. didn't talk much to anyone. except for you. he'd stroll with you as you bounced next to him, talking about your day as you both walked back to your dorm.
what better way to claim you than for someone to walk in and see him fucking himself and holding your panties up to his face. the thought turns him on so much that he squeezes his eyes shut and lets out a strangled moan.
god he needs it. he needs to fuck you in front of the whole campus. all of those men that violated your princess parts- he needs them to watch as he stuffs his girthy length into your pussy. he wants them to watch as he stretches you out. he's sure you'd struggle against him as what he had in girth he also had in length, but he knows you'd like it. he knows you'd love being filled up by him. by him.
he's so fucking mad. how could they? he slams the fist holding your panties on the washer as he continues to fuck and grind into his hand.
fuck those men that defiled you. fuck them for touching you that way, putting their filthy hands on your precious body. he'd fix that. cleanse you. cum all over your pretty frame, cover you in it. your face, your tits, cum on and in your tight little cunt. he prays you'd let him fuck your ass too so he could fill that up as well- shit.
he feels it coming. he feels the onslaught of pleasure start to pour into his body. he wants to hold off- wants to hold his cum until he can spill it inside of you but he cant. he's gonna cream his pants like hes a teenager again.
he laps at your panties again and he cant wait to taste your pussy. he can't wait until he can eat you out for hours, have you cum on his tongue over and over and- oh-
his eyes squeeze shut again and he bites his lip to try and conceal his moans. he can't tell if its working though, his ears are ringing and the only thing he can think of is roughly humping his hand to get off.
he whines and whines and whines as he feels himself let go, ropes of cum seeping through his underwear. its spurt after spurt and now his hand is wet and its starting to stain his sweats but he cant stop. his cock has a mind of its own, twitching and jumping and fuck- he's so sensitive.
he stops cumming, stops shooting his load into his underwear. he whimpers and removes his hand from his pants but his hips are still stuttering against nothing.
god he wants to feel it. he wants to know how it'll feel when he slides his cock into your warm, tight, wet cunt. he wants to feel his balls slap against your ass from how hard he's fucking you. he wants to feel your pussy gush around him, cover his cock and balls in your juices. he hopes he can make you squirt so you can drench him in you and- no. no no no-
sunghoons knees knock together as he feels himself cum in his pants again and he might actually pass out this time. its dry, nothings coming out but he feels euphoric. his hips fuck into the air and its so fucking gross, he feels so gross and so dirty but its only for you. only for his pretty princess.

chapter summary: You own a small bakery in Westchester. One day, Logan comes in for an order for the X-Mansion. After that he becomes a regular—something he persistently denies.
word count: 9.5k+
pairing: Logan Howlett x fem!reader
notes: i'm a sucker for baker!reader and logan. though this version of reader is a little bit more extroverted and less 'innocent' than the other baker!reader's i've seen. anyways, this is my entry for @yxtkiwiyxt and @lubdubology's valentine's writing challenge!
i'm not a valentine's girly, maybe because i just find it to be a commercial holiday with no meaning (or maybe because i'm 20 and my only valentine has been my dogs) but i hate chocolate and the holiday so...
warnings/tags: baker!reader, fluff, wrote this with x2 logan in mind, but you can imagine any logan, not proofread
Anytime the X-Mansion had a special occasion, they got baked goods from your bakery—a small shop in Westchester.
The first time Logan met you was by accident, or rather an order given to him by Jean. “It’s Rogue’s birthday. You don’t want her to miss out on havin’ a cake, do ya?”
Logan grumbled under his breath but didn’t argue. He wasn’t in the mood for errands, but Jean had a way of making things sound like a guilt trip, and he wasn’t about to deal with that all day. So, here he was, pushing open the door to some small bakery he’d never been to before. The smell of sugar and vanilla hit him immediately, warm and inviting, but he didn’t care about that—he just wanted to get the cake and get out.
The place wasn’t busy, just a couple of customers sitting at tables, sipping coffee. He stepped up to the counter, glancing at the display case full of pastries, then tapped the little bell once. A moment later, you stepped out from the back, wiping your hands on your apron.
“Hey, sorry about that—oh.” Your eyes flicked up, and you did a quick once-over, taking in the broad-shouldered, grumpy-looking man standing at your counter. “You’re definitely not Jean.”
“Yeah, no kiddin’.” Logan exhaled, already regretting this. “She sent me to pick up a cake for Rogue.”
“Right. The X-Mansion order.” You nodded, disappearing into the back. “Give me a sec.”
Logan drummed his fingers against the counter, glancing around. The place was small but homey, shelves lined with small bags of cookies, muffins, and whatever else people liked to buy on impulse. It smelled good—annoyingly good.
You came back out a few moments later, balancing a cake box in your hands. “Here it is. Vanilla with chocolate frosting, right?”
“Beats me. Jean just said ‘get the damn cake.’”
You huffed a short laugh, setting it down and ringing it up. “Well, let’s hope she ordered what Rogue actually likes.” You gave him a once-over again, tilting your head slightly. “You new around here? Don’t think I’ve seen you before.”
Logan pulled out his wallet, shaking his head. “Been stayin’ at the mansion a while now. Just don’t do bakery runs.”
“Shame. You seem like the type to appreciate a good cinnamon roll.”
He gave you a flat look. “Dunno what that means.”
“It means you’re a grumpy bastard, and grumpy bastards usually like cinnamon rolls.” You smirked, sliding the cake box toward him. “I have a self-proclaimed ability to guess what people like. You’re either cinnamon roll or an apple pie.”
Logan huffed, eyeing you like he couldn’t decide if you were messing with him or just plain strange. “That so?”
“Mm-hmm.” You leaned on the counter, clearly entertained by his skepticism. “And my guesses are usually spot-on.”
Logan crossed his arms. “What if I don’t like either?”
You raised an eyebrow. “Then you’re just lying to yourself.”
He exhaled sharply, shaking his head. “This what you do? Size people up based on pastries?”
“Works better than you’d think.” You tapped the counter lightly. “So, which one is it? Cinnamon roll or apple pie?”
Logan gave you a flat look, then sighed. “Pie.”
You grinned like you’d just won a bet. “Knew it.”
“Tch. Lucky guess.” He grabbed the cake box and turned toward the door, already done with this conversation.
“Uh-huh, sure.” You leaned on the counter, watching him. “Come back when you’re not on a mission, and I’ll prove it.”
He paused, just for a second, then shook his head and walked out. The bell over the door chimed behind him.
“See you later, sugar,” you called after him.
He didn’t look back, but you swore you saw the faintest twitch of amusement before the door swung shut.
---
It had been a few months since the last time Logan had been over to your bakery. Then Scott and Ororo cornered him, telling him that “it was the least he could do for Jubilee.”
“I’m not goin’ to the damn bakery again.” Logan said, crossing his arms over his chest.
Scott sighed, unimpressed. “Logan, come on. It’s just a cake.”
“You say that like it’s a quick in-and-out job,” Logan grumbled. “Last time I went, I got roped into some damn conversation about cinnamon rolls.”
Ororo raised an eyebrow. “And that was… a problem?”
“Yes.”
Scott and Ororo exchanged a look.
“Look, Jean’s busy, and we’re in the middle of planning the party,” Scott said, folding his arms. “All you have to do is pick up the order. That’s it. No small talk, no distractions.”
Logan exhaled sharply. “Fine.”
“That wasn’t so hard, was it?” Scott smirked.
Logan ignored him, grabbed his jacket, and headed out.
---
The bakery smelled just as annoyingly good as last time. Logan stepped inside, tapping the bell on the counter once, hoping you wouldn’t be as chatty this time.
You appeared from the back, wiping your hands on your apron before looking up. The second you saw him, a slow grin spread across your face.
“Well, well. Thought I scared you off for good.”
Logan sighed. “M’just here for the cake.”
“Uh-huh.” You grabbed the order slip from the counter. “Jubilee’s birthday, right?”
He gave a short nod.
You disappeared into the back, and Logan leaned against the counter, arms crossed. The place wasn’t too busy, just a few customers sitting at the tables, chatting over coffee. It was cozy, warm, the kind of place people probably lingered in for hours. Not his thing.
You came back a moment later with a cake box, setting it down in front of him. “Vanilla with strawberry filling. I think she mentioned something about pink being mandatory.”
Logan pulled out his wallet. “You keep track of all your customers’ favorite cakes?”
You shrugged, ringing him up. “Just the regulars.”
He scoffed. “I ain’t a regular.”
“Not yet.” You smirked, handing him his change. “Though, I gotta admit, I’m a little disappointed.”
Logan frowned. “What now?”
“You never came back for me to prove I was right about the pie.”
He rolled his eyes. “Didn’t see a reason to.”
“Oh, there was a reason.” You leaned on the counter, tilting your head slightly. “You just didn’t wanna admit I was right. Which is why you can’t get the cake until you try a slice of pie.”
Logan narrowed his eyes. “You serious?”
“As a heart attack.” You crossed your arms, matching his stare with a smirk. “One bite. That’s all I’m asking.”
Logan exhaled sharply, glancing at the cake box like it might disappear if he didn’t grab it fast enough. “I don’t got time for this.”
“Oh, but you do.” You were already turning, heading for the back. “Sit tight.”
“Damn it,” he muttered under his breath, but he stayed put.
A minute later, you came back with a small plate, a fork, and a slice of apple pie. You set it down in front of him like you were presenting something sacred. “Here. Try it.”
Logan glanced around, already regretting this. A couple of customers had noticed, though no one was paying too much attention. Still, he felt like he was being set up. “This ain’t poisoned, is it?”
You snorted. “Please. If I wanted to take you out, I’d do it the old-fashioned way.”
“Comfortin’.” He picked up the fork, giving you one last look before taking a bite.
Warm, just the right amount of cinnamon, flaky crust—damn it. He hated when people were right.
You leaned on the counter, waiting expectantly. “Well?”
Logan chewed, swallowed, and grunted. “S’fine.”
Your grin widened. “Fine?”
“Yeah.” He took another bite, mostly out of spite. “Nothin’ special.”
“Oh, now you’re just lying.” You tapped the counter. “Admit it. I was right.”
Logan shoved another piece into his mouth, refusing to say anything.
You laughed, shaking your head. “I’ll take that as a yes.”
He pushed the plate back slightly and reached for the cake. “That enough of a taste test for ya?”
“For now.” You slid the cake toward him, clearly enjoying this way too much. “But next time? You’re trying the cinnamon roll.”
Logan grabbed the box and turned for the door. “Ain’t gonna be a next time.”
“Uh-huh, sure.”
The bell chimed as he stepped outside, but he caught your voice just before the door swung shut.
“See ya, sugar.”
---
The bell over the bakery door chimed as Logan stepped inside, hands shoved into his jacket pockets. He wasn’t entirely sure why he was here. No one sent him this time—no guilt trips from Jean, no nagging from Scott. Just… a damn craving, apparently.
You looked up from behind the counter, eyebrows lifting in surprise before a slow smirk tugged at your lips. “Well, well. Didn’t think I’d see you again so soon.”
Logan grunted, eyes flicking to the display case. “M’just here to pick somethin’ up.”
“Oh, sure. Totally believe that.” You leaned on the counter, chin resting in your palm. “Let me guess—apple pie?”
He exhaled sharply, shaking his head. “You’re way too smug about this.”
“Because I was right.” You straightened up and grabbed a slice of pie from the case, sliding it onto a small plate. “But, you know, since you’re here, might as well test another theory.”
Logan eyed you warily. “What theory?”
Without answering, you turned and grabbed something else, placing it next to the pie—a cinnamon roll, warm and fresh from the oven.
You tapped the counter. “Go on.”
Logan huffed. “I didn’t ask for that.”
“Consider it a challenge.” You smirked. “If you don’t like it, I’ll let you walk out of here without any ‘I told you so’s.’”
He eyed you, then the cinnamon roll, then back at you. “…And if I do?”
“Then I get to gloat forever.”
He shook his head, muttering something under his breath, but grabbed the plate anyway. Pulling out a few bills, he slid them across the counter.
You rang him up, watching as he hesitated before finally tearing off a piece of the cinnamon roll and popping it into his mouth.
His chewing slowed. You caught the slightest flicker of something—not quite annoyance, not quite satisfaction—before he swallowed.
“Well?” You leaned forward, grinning.
Logan picked up his plate. “M’leavin’.”
You laughed. “That good, huh? You know, you could just say ‘thank you’ like a normal person.”
Logan scoffed, tearing off another piece of the cinnamon roll. “Ain’t my style.”
You smirked, resting your elbows on the counter. “Yeah, no kidding. You’re more of the grumble and disappear type.”
He didn’t argue, just kept eating like acknowledging you would give you more reason to gloat. The place wasn’t too busy, which meant you had all the time in the world to mess with him—not exactly the outcome he was hoping for when he walked in.
“So, what’s the verdict?” You tapped your fingers against the counter. “Cinnamon roll or apple pie?”
Logan chewed, swallowed, and exhaled through his nose. “Pie.”
You gasped dramatically. “Wow. Just like that? No hesitation?”
“Nope.” He took another bite.
You shook your head, grinning. “That’s crazy. ’Cause it sure looks like you’re enjoying that cinnamon roll.”
Logan grunted, not meeting your eyes. “S’fine.”
“You said that about the pie, and look where we are now.” You rested your chin in your hand, watching him. “Face it, Logan. You’ve got a sweet tooth.”
“Tch.” He picked up the plate and turned toward the door, clearly done with this conversation.
“Don’t be a stranger, sugar,” you called after him.
He didn’t look back, but you caught the way his shoulders tensed—like he was fighting the urge to respond. The bell chimed as he stepped outside.
You smirked, already looking forward to the next time he walked through that door.
---
Usually, you did just fine lugging the large bag of flour from the crate to the kitchen, but after spending all day on your feet testing new recipes you weren’t exactly at your best.
You faintly heard the bell ring above the front door, and you called out “we’re closed!” before tugging the bag of flour again.
“You’re closed, huh?” A familiar gruff voice cut through the quiet.
You groaned, still struggling with the damn bag of flour. “Yeah, that’s what I said.”
Heavy footsteps approached, and before you could protest, the bag was lifted right out of your grip. You turned to see Logan holding it effortlessly like it weighed nothing.
You huffed. “You know, some people ask before just stepping in and taking over.”
He raised an eyebrow. “You were losin’ that fight.”
“I had it handled.”
“Sure you did.” He carried the bag through the doorway leading to the kitchen.
You followed, arms crossed. “What are you even doing here? You already got your sugar fix for the week.”
Logan set the bag down near the counter and dusted his hands off. “Needed somethin’ to do.”
You blinked. “So, out of all the places, you came here?”
He grunted, looking vaguely annoyed with himself. “Yeah, guess I did.”
You smirked, leaning against the counter. “Startin’ to think you like it here.”
Logan exhaled sharply. “Don’t push it.”
You tapped the counter lightly, still amused. “Well, since you’re here, you want something? Or are you just here to rescue me from my tragic battle with flour?”
Logan glanced around like he was debating whether he’d regret staying longer. Then his eyes landed on a tray of freshly baked cookies on the cooling rack.
You caught his look. “Ah. Now, let me use my special talent here—” You tapped your chin in mock thought. “You seem like a peanut butter guy.”
Logan scoffed. “Now you’re just makin’ stuff up.”
“Oh, am I?” You picked up a peanut butter cookie and held it out. “Go on. Prove me wrong.”
He stared at you, then at the cookie, then back at you. “This a new thing? You testin’ psychic powers on baked goods?”
“Just take the damn cookie, Logan.”
He rolled his eyes but took it, biting off a piece. His chewing slowed just slightly, the way it always did when he didn’t want to admit something was good.
You grinned. “Called it.”
Logan muttered something under his breath but didn’t stop eating.
You leaned on the counter, watching him. “So, what’s the excuse gonna be next time?”
He raised an eyebrow. “Next time?”
“Mhm. You keep coming back, whether it’s for cake, pie, or playing the hero with fifty-pound bags of flour.”
Logan finished the cookie and dusted off his hands. “You assumin’ a lot.”
“Oh, I don’t assume.” You smirked. “I just have a talent for predicting things.”
He shook his head and turned toward the door. “Don’t wait up.”
You grinned. “Bye bye, sugar bear.”
---
The next time Logan showed up, he didn’t say anything at first. Just walked in, hands shoved in his jacket pockets, and stood at the counter like he was already regretting the decision.
You looked up from the register, eyebrows raising. “Back again already?”
“Don’t start.”
You smirked. “Didn’t say anything.”
Logan gave you a look that said he didn’t believe that for a second. His eyes flicked to the display case, scanning over the usual selection. You leaned on the counter, waiting.
“So, what’ll it be?” You tapped your fingers against the counter. “Pie? Cinnamon roll? Maybe a cookie? I know a guy who’s a big fan of peanut butter.”
Logan exhaled, shaking his head. “Just coffee.”
You blinked. “Coffee?”
“Yeah. You got a problem with that?”
You tilted your head slightly. “I just figured if you were gonna show up unprompted, you’d at least pretend you weren’t here just for the free samples.”
He gave you a flat look. “M’not here for free samples.”
“Uh-huh.” You turned, grabbing a mug. “Black?”
“Yeah.”
You poured the coffee and slid it across the counter. Logan took it without a word, lifting it to his lips.
You watched him take a sip, arms crossed. “So, what’s the excuse this time?”
He lowered the mug slightly. “What?”
“You always have an excuse for coming in. First it was Jean, then Scott, then some tragic flour-related emergency.” You smirked. “What is it today? Did someone put you on coffee duty?”
Logan didn’t answer right away, just took another sip. “No excuse.”
Your smirk faltered slightly. “Huh.”
“What?”
“Nothing.” You shrugged, resting your elbows on the counter. “Just didn’t take you for the type to stop by for no reason.”
He grunted. “Maybe I just wanted coffee.”
“Maybe.” You studied him for a moment. “Or maybe you just wanted to see me.”
Logan huffed. “You’re pushin’ it.”
You grinned. “That wasn’t a no.”
He shook his head, setting the coffee down. “This place always this damn chatty?”
“Only when you’re here.”
Logan exhaled through his nose, but he didn’t argue. You took that as a win.
“Oh, I know somethin’ you can do for me.” You quickly ran into the backroom and grabbed a cooling scone—raspberry lime.
Logan eyed it with mild suspicion as you set it down in front of him. “What’s this?”
“A scone.”
He gave you a flat look. “I can see that.”
You smirked. “Then why’d you ask?”
Logan exhaled sharply, picking it up like it might bite him. “And I’m supposed to do what, exactly?”
“You’re supposed to eat it,” you said, leaning on the counter. “It’s a new recipe. Gotta make sure it’s good before I start selling them.”
His eyes narrowed slightly. “And you don’t got anyone else to taste-test this?”
“Not anyone who’ll give me an honest answer.” You tapped the counter lightly. “Customers are too polite, and the old ladies who come in every Sunday think everything I make is ‘just delightful.’ I need actual feedback.”
Logan looked at the scone like it was some kind of trap. “…It got any weird crap in it?”
“Weird crap?” You blinked. “It’s raspberry and lime. How is that weird?”
He grunted, still skeptical, but took a bite. His chewing slowed slightly, which you’d come to recognize as the telltale sign that he actually liked something but wasn’t about to admit it outright.
You grinned. “Well?”
Logan swallowed, then shrugged. “It’s fine.”
“Wow. High praise.”
He took another bite, shaking his head. “You want feedback or not?”
“Go on, then. Let’s hear it.”
He chewed thoughtfully, eyes flicking toward the ceiling like he was actually considering his words. “Not too sweet. Tart enough to keep it from bein’ boring. Texture’s good.” He paused, taking another bite. “Could use a little more lime.”
You tilted your head. “More lime?”
“Yeah.” He gestured vaguely with the scone. “You got the raspberry down, but the lime’s kinda fightin’ to be noticed.”
You pursed your lips, considering it. “Huh. Okay, I can work with that.”
Logan took another bite, looking vaguely annoyed with himself. “Didn’t expect you to actually listen.”
“I asked for feedback. What kind of baker would I be if I ignored it?” You smirked. “Besides, I already knew it was good—I just wanted to see if you’d admit it.”
He scoffed, setting the half-eaten scone down. “You’re a pain in the ass.”
“And yet, here you are. Again.”
Logan grunted, picking up his coffee. “Don’t make a big deal outta it.”
You grinned, tapping the counter. “No promises, sugar.”
---
The bell above the bakery door chimed, and you barely glanced up from where you were wiping down the counter. “We’re closed,” you called automatically.
“You keep sayin’ that, and yet, here I am,” came a familiar gruff voice.
You looked up, smirking as Logan stood at the counter, hands shoved into his jacket pockets like he was already regretting coming in. “Back again already? Thought you were done giving me a hard time.”
He grunted, eyes flicking toward the display case. “Just get me a coffee.”
You arched an eyebrow but didn’t question it, grabbing a mug and pouring it fresh. As you slid it across the counter, you tapped your fingers against the wood. “You know, most people would just admit they like a place instead of making up excuses to show up.”
Logan wrapped his hands around the mug, not looking at you. “Ain’t an excuse. Just needed coffee.”
“Sure.” You leaned on the counter, watching him. “So, what was it this time? Jean send you? Scott? Or did another bag of flour need rescuing?”
He exhaled sharply through his nose. “No reason.”
That gave you pause. You tilted your head slightly. “Huh.”
Logan frowned. “What?”
“Nothing.” You smirked, clearly amused. “Just didn’t take you for the type to stop by for no reason.”
He gave you a flat look. “You got somethin’ against repeat customers?”
“Oh, no. I love my regulars.” You grinned. “Especially the grumpy ones.”
Logan shook his head, lifting the mug to his lips. He didn’t argue, which only made you more smug.
---
The next time Logan came in, it wasn’t for coffee.
The place was quiet—late enough in the evening that most customers were long gone. You were behind the counter, finishing up some inventory, when the bell chimed.
You looked up, brows lifting. “You know, I could just give you a key at this point.”
Logan ignored that, stepping up to the counter. “What’s good today?”
You gave him an exaggerated gasp. “You’re finally asking for a recommendation? I’m honored.”
He sighed. “Just tell me what’s good.”
You smirked, grabbing a plate and sliding a freshly baked hand pie onto it. “Figured I’d experiment today—blackberry and bourbon.”
Logan picked up the hand pie, giving it a brief once-over before taking a bite. He chewed, swallowed, then gave a short nod. “Not bad.”
You put a hand over your heart. “Wow. Practically a glowing review.”
Logan rolled his eyes, but something about the interaction had softened. He stayed leaning against the counter, glancing at the cooling trays behind you. “So, you always wanted to do this?”
You blinked, caught off guard. “Do what?”
“This.” He gestured vaguely. “The whole bakery thing.”
You shrugged. “Pretty much. Always liked baking, figured I might as well get paid for it.”
Logan hummed in acknowledgment, taking another bite. He didn’t say anything for a while, but he didn’t leave either.
After a few beats of silence, you decided to return the question. “What about you?”
He glanced up. “What about me?”
You leaned on the counter. “You always wanted to be a broody loner who shows up at small businesses unannounced?”
Logan exhaled sharply, shaking his head. “You’re a real pain in the ass, you know that?”
You grinned. “Yeah, but I grow on people.”
“We’ll see about that.”
But he didn’t leave.
---
You had a habit of observing people. It came with the job—regulars had patterns, little quirks that gave away more than they realized.
Logan was no different.
The third or fourth time he came in, you started noticing them. The way his eyes scanned the room the second he stepped inside, like he was cataloging everything. How he never sat with his back to the door. How his shoulders only slightly relaxed after a few minutes, like he was still debating if he should be here at all.
“You’re always on guard.”
Logan, who had just taken a sip of coffee, lowered the mug slightly. “What?”
“You’re always watching everything,” you said, casually wiping down the counter. “Like you’re waiting for something to go wrong.”
Logan’s expression flickered—just for a second. “Force of habit.”
You nodded. “Figured.”
That was it. No prodding, no pushing. Just an acknowledgment.
Logan’s fingers tapped against the side of his mug. “That a problem?”
“Nope.” You smirked. “Just an observation.”
Logan held your gaze for a second longer, then shook his head. “You notice too much.”
“Perks of the job.” You leaned forward slightly. “You know what else I noticed?”
He sighed. “What now?”
“You linger.”
Logan frowned. “The hell does that mean?”
“You stick around longer each time.” You grinned. “Almost like you enjoy being here.”
Logan grunted, grabbing his coffee. “You’re annoyin’.”
“And yet, here you are.”
He didn’t argue.
---
The bell above the bakery door chimed, right on schedule. You smirked to yourself as you wiped your hands on your apron. Logan had been showing up like clockwork now—never admitting it, of course, but his routine spoke for itself.
When you turned around, you were already holding out a plate.
Logan narrowed his eyes. “What’s this?”
You set it on the counter with a flourish. “Leftover peanut butter cookies. Tragic, really. If only someone around here liked them.”
Logan exhaled sharply, shaking his head. “You plannin’ on feedin’ me every time I come in?”
“Would you complain if I was?” You leaned on the counter, raising an eyebrow.
He grumbled something under his breath but grabbed a cookie anyway, biting into it like he was proving a point.
You smirked. “Thought so.”
Logan chewed, swallowed, then gestured toward the plate. “These actually extra?”
You tilted your head. “Does it matter?”
His jaw flexed slightly, like he didn’t know how to respond. Instead of answering, he just grabbed another cookie.
You grinned.
---
It had been a long day. A really long day.
One of the ovens had decided to throw a tantrum, a supplier had screwed up an order, and to top it off, you still had to prep for a catering job in the morning.
You didn’t even look up when the bell chimed. “We’re closed,” you called tiredly, shoving a crate of flour toward the back.
“Yeah, yeah.”
You blinked, glancing up to see Logan standing near the counter, arms crossed.
You huffed. “Starting to think you don’t understand what closed means.”
Logan ignored that, glancing around at the half-prepped trays, the mess of ingredients still covering the counter. “You runnin’ this place by yourself?”
“Yep.” You exhaled, pushing hair out of your face. “Well, mostly. Sometimes I hire help for big orders.”
Logan grunted, then—without a word—walked past the counter, grabbed the flour bag you had been struggling with, and lifted it like it weighed nothing.
You blinked. “Uh—what are you—”
“Where’s it goin’?”
You stared at him. “You do realize you don’t work here, right?”
Logan gave you a flat look. “You askin’ me to leave?”
You hesitated, then sighed. “Corner shelf, second row.”
He carried it over like it was nothing, then turned back expectantly.
You crossed your arms. “What, you lookin’ for a job now?”
Logan snorted. “You couldn’t afford me.”
“Oh, please.” You smirked. “I’d pay you in coffee and pie. You’d be set for life.”
He shook his head but didn’t argue. Instead, he glanced around the kitchen again. “What else?”
You narrowed your eyes. “Are you helping?”
“Tch.” He grabbed another crate before you could protest. “You’re losin’ this fight, just let it happen.”
You watched him work for a moment, a little stunned. You weren’t used to people sticking around just to help. It wasn’t a grand gesture, wasn’t something he was making a big deal out of—it was just Logan, stepping in like it was the most natural thing in the world.
You turned back to your work, shaking your head with a small smile.
“Fine,” you muttered. “But you’re not getting paid.”
Logan grunted. “Figures.”
---
It was late—too late. You should’ve locked up an hour ago, but you were dragging your feet, finishing up inventory while Logan sat at one of the tables with his usual coffee.
You glanced over at him. He had been coming around more, sticking around longer. He never said why, and you never asked. It was just… the way things had settled.
“You always this restless?” you asked, breaking the quiet.
Logan glanced up. “What?”
“You always show up late.” You leaned against the counter. “Ever sleep?”
He scoffed. “Not much.”
You tilted your head slightly. “Because you can’t, or because you don’t want to?”
Something flickered in his expression. He looked down at his coffee, fingers tapping against the side of the mug. “Both.”
You studied him for a moment. “Bad dreams?”
Logan didn’t answer right away. Then, quietly—so quiet you almost missed it—he muttered, “Somethin’ like that.”
You didn’t push. You could’ve asked more, pried for details, but that wasn’t how this worked. Instead, you just nodded.
“I get it,” you said simply.
Logan looked at you, something unreadable in his eyes. “Yeah?”
You shrugged. “Yeah.”
The silence stretched, but it wasn’t uncomfortable. Just… understanding.
Logan took another sip of his coffee, then exhaled. “You should lock up.”
You smirked. “You gonna tell me what to do now?”
He stood, grabbing his jacket. “Don’t need to. You’re already dead on your feet.”
You huffed. “You know, for a guy who claims he doesn’t care, you sure do act like you do.”
Logan pulled his jacket on, not looking at you. “Get some sleep, Y/N.”
You watched as he headed for the door, shaking your head with a small smile.
“Night, sugar bear,” you called after him.
He didn’t look back, but you saw the way his shoulders tensed—like he was fighting the urge to respond.
The bell chimed as the door swung shut.
---
By now, Logan had stopped making excuses for why he kept coming back. He still didn’t admit anything, but you noticed the pattern—how he always came in around closing time, how he lingered longer each visit.
Tonight was no different.
The bell chimed, and you barely looked up from wiping down the espresso machine. “Y’know, if you’re gonna keep doing this, I really should just give you a key.”
Logan grunted, stepping inside. “Don’t need one.”
You smirked. “Because you’d just break in?”
“Somethin’ like that.”
You rolled your eyes, finishing up before leaning on the counter. “So, what’ll it be? Coffee? Something sweet? Or are you just here to loiter?”
Logan didn’t answer right away. He walked over to his usual seat—the one near the window, back to the wall—and sat down with a sigh.
“No coffee,” he muttered.
That was new.
You eyed him. “Rough night?”
He exhaled sharply but didn’t answer. That was answer enough.
Without another word, you grabbed a mug, poured something fresh, and set it on the table in front of him.
“I thought I said no coffee.”
You sat across from him, propping your chin on your hand. “It’s tea.”
Logan frowned at it. “The hell do I look like, some kinda tea-drinkin’—”
“—Just drink it, Logan.”
He huffed but didn’t argue. Took a sip. Grunted.
You smirked. “Good, right?”
“...It’s fine.”
You leaned back, watching him. “You don’t have to talk, you know.”
Logan raised an eyebrow.
You shrugged. “Just saying. If you wanna sit here in broody silence for an hour, I won’t stop you.”
He stared at you for a long moment, something unreadable passing behind his expression. Then, slowly, he leaned back in his chair, sipping his tea.
Neither of you said anything else for a while.
But he stayed.
---
You had dealt with rude customers before. It came with the job—some people were just assholes. But most of the time, they were harmless.
Most of the time.
Tonight, some guy had been giving you a hard time—complaining about his order, getting a little too close, sneering in that way that immediately put you on edge.
“You got a problem with your ears, sweetheart? I said extra caramel—”
“I heard you,” you said, forcing yourself to stay calm. “But that’s not what you ordered.”
The guy scoffed, leaning over the counter. “So now you’re callin’ me a liar?”
Before you could answer, a familiar voice cut through the tension like a knife.
“She ain’t callin’ you anythin’.”
Logan was right there—sudden and solid, standing just slightly in front of you.
The guy turned, sizing Logan up. “And who the hell are you supposed to be?”
Logan didn’t answer. Just held his gaze, silent, still.
You had seen Logan fight before—you knew what he was capable of—but sometimes, it didn’t take claws or violence. Sometimes, it was just him, standing there, making someone realize they’d made a mistake.
The guy swallowed.
“Forget it,” he muttered, grabbing his coffee and leaving without another word.
The door shut behind him, and for a moment, the bakery was silent.
You exhaled. “Well. That was fun.”
Logan turned, looking you over like he was checking for something. “You alright?”
You smirked. “Aww, you care.”
Logan grunted. “Don’t start.”
You crossed your arms. “What, no dramatic one-liner? No ‘stay away from her’ speech?”
“Didn’t need one.”
You shook your head, still smirking. “You’re ridiculous.”
Logan didn’t answer. Just grumbled under his breath and went back to his seat, like nothing had happened.
But you noticed the way he didn’t touch his drink for a while—like he was still too on edge to relax.
---
“You’re actually serious about this.”
Logan stood at the entrance of the farmers’ market, arms crossed, looking very unamused by the whole thing.
You grinned. “Yep.”
“You dragged me here.”
“Oh, please. No one drags you anywhere. You came willingly.”
He grunted but didn’t argue.
You had invited him on a whim, half-expecting him to say no. But to your surprise, he had shown up—grumbling the whole way, sure, but still.
The market was lively—small tents, fresh produce, the smell of roasted coffee and warm pastries in the air. It was a nice change from the usual bakery setting.
Logan, however, looked wildly out of place.
“You look miserable,” you teased, nudging him.
“’Cause I am miserable.”
“You sure? ’Cause I saw you eyeing those smoked meats at the last booth.”
Logan huffed. “That don’t mean I wanna be here.”
You smirked. “Mhm. Keep telling yourself that.”
Still, he stuck close to you as you weaved through the booths. He didn’t complain when you stopped to look at pastries, didn’t roll his eyes too hard when you bought something ridiculous just because it “looked cute.”
At one point, you handed him a fresh apple cider donut.
Logan frowned. “What’s this for?”
“Because you look like you wanna kill someone, and I need you to chill.”
He gave you a look but took a bite anyway.
You grinned. “See? Was that so hard?”
Logan just grumbled around his donut.
You took that as a win.
---
Logan, for the first time in a while, came to your bakery for an order. It was for the Valentine’s Day party at the mansion and Jean and Ororo put him on pickup duty.
It was close to 3 pm when he arrived and the sign on the door was already turned to CLOSED.
He opened the door and walked in, the bell ringing above.
You were behind the counter, carefully arranging a tray of macarons into a pastry box. You glanced up at the sound, then smirked when you saw who it was.
“Ah, my favorite grump. Here for the party order?”
Logan grunted, stepping closer. “Jean and Ro made me do it.”
“Of course they did.” You shut the box and slid it across the counter. “Bunch of heart-shaped macarons, just as requested—raspberry, chocolate, vanilla bean, and peanut butter.”
Logan eyed the box, then flicked his gaze back to you. You looked… different. Dressed up. Not overly fancy, but enough to make him pause. His brows pulled together slightly.
“You got plans or somethin’?”
You tilted your head. “What?”
He gestured vaguely. “You’re dressed up.”
You raised an eyebrow, smirking. “Why, you jealous?”
Logan scoffed. “Ain’t jealous. Just askin’.”
You hummed, clearly entertained. “No date, if that’s what you’re getting at.”
Logan crossed his arms. “Didn’t say nothin’ about a date.”
You grinned. “Mhm. Well, in case you were wondering, Jean invited me to the party.”
His expression flickered—something unreadable for half a second—before he exhaled sharply. “That right?”
“Yep.” You grabbed another small box from behind the counter and handed it to him. “These are yours, by the way.”
Logan frowned slightly, opening the box. Inside were four macarons, but unlike the ones in the party order, these were regular round ones.
“Didn’t think you’d want heart-shaped ones,” you said, watching his reaction.
He stared at them for a moment. “These the same flavors?”
“Yep. One of each.” You leaned on the counter, smirking. “Figured you’d appreciate the peanut butter one the most.”
Logan huffed. “You really don’t let up, huh?”
“Nope.”
He shook his head but didn’t argue. Just shut the box and grabbed the party order. “C’mon. I’ll give you a ride.”
You blinked. “What?”
Logan gestured toward the door. “Party’s at the mansion, ain’t it? You’re goin’, I’m goin’. Might as well save you the trip.”
You smirked, grabbing your coat. “And how exactly are these macarons supposed to survive on a motorcycle?”
Logan gave you a flat look. “I got it handled.”
You chuckled, stepping around the counter. “Alright, sugar bear. Let’s see what you got.”
He grumbled something under his breath but held the door open for you anyway.
You stepped outside, pulling your coat tighter as the cool air hit. Logan followed, already heading toward his bike.
You stopped short, staring at it. “Okay, I gotta ask—where exactly are these macarons supposed to go? You got some hidden pastry compartment I don’t know about?”
Logan shot you a look. “I said I got it handled.”
You crossed your arms. “That’s not an answer.”
He exhaled sharply, then crouched slightly, reaching for the saddlebag attached to the side of his bike. With practiced ease, he unlatched it, revealing a snug, padded compartment inside.
You raised an eyebrow. “That’s… oddly convenient.”
Logan shrugged. “Picked it up a while back. Good for keepin’ shit from gettin’ smashed.”
You smirked. “So, what you’re saying is, this is a dessert-safe motorcycle?”
He grunted, carefully placing the boxes inside. “Sure.”
You shook your head, amused. “You are full of surprises, sugar bear.”
Logan ignored that, straightening up before turning to you. “You ever been on a bike before?”
You hesitated. “…Define ‘been on a bike.’”
His expression flattened. “That a no?”
“Not a no. More like a… not exactly.”
Logan exhaled through his nose. “Great.” He swung a leg over and sat, steadying the bike before nodding toward you. “C’mon.”
You gave him a look. “You’re just assuming I’m gonna get on?”
He raised an eyebrow. “You got another ride?”
You huffed, stepping forward. “Fine, but if we crash, I’m haunting you.”
Logan scoffed. “Yeah, yeah. Foot on the peg, swing your leg over, and don’t make a damn production out of it.”
You did as he said, slightly awkward but managing without embarrassing yourself. Once seated, you hesitated, hands hovering near his back.
“…Where am I supposed to hold?”
Logan didn’t answer right away. Then, without looking back, he reached for your wrists and pulled your arms around his waist. “Here.”
You blinked, caught off guard, but didn’t argue. His body was solid under your hands, radiating warmth even through his jacket.
“This gonna be a problem?” he asked, clearly amused.
You huffed. “Not unless you do something stupid.”
Logan smirked, kicking the bike to life. “Hang on, doll.”
You rolled your eyes but tightened your grip around his waist. The engine rumbled beneath you, the vibration humming through your chest as Logan eased the bike forward. The cool night air bit at your skin, but the warmth of him under your hands made up for it.
As he pulled onto the road, you couldn’t help but squeeze your arms a little tighter. Not out of fear—just instinct. Logan didn’t say anything about it, but you could feel the shift in his posture, the slightest adjustment like he was making sure you were steady.
The ride was smooth, surprisingly so. Logan handled the bike with an ease that made you wonder just how many times he’d done this before. The streets of Westchester blurred past, streetlights casting a golden glow over the pavement.
After a few minutes, you leaned forward slightly. “So, be honest. How often do you use the whole ‘wanna ride?’ line to impress women?”
Logan snorted. “You think I need a line?”
You scoffed. “Wow. That cocky, huh?”
He smirked, though you couldn’t see it. “Ain’t about bein’ cocky, darlin’. Just statin’ facts.”
You shook your head, amused. “Uh-huh. Well, just so you know, I’m only impressed if we get there in one piece.”
Logan huffed. “You doubtin’ my drivin’?”
“I mean, I don’t want to, but I’ve also seen how you drive a car, and—”
“That was one time,” he grumbled.
“And yet, Scott still won’t let you near the X-Jet.”
“One crash, and suddenly nobody trusts ya.”
You laughed, resting your chin lightly against his back. “You’re ridiculous.”
Logan didn’t respond, but you felt his chest rise and fall with a short, quiet chuckle.
The rest of the ride was mostly silent, save for the occasional gust of wind and the steady roar of the engine. It wasn’t bad, you realized. The night air, the open road, the way Logan rode like he belonged there—it was… nice.
After a while, the looming gates of the Xavier Institute came into view. Logan slowed the bike, coasting up the long driveway before finally coming to a stop near the entrance.
As the engine cut off, you let out a breath and loosened your grip. Logan tilted his head slightly. “Not bad for your first time?”
You huffed. “I mean, I survived, so I’d call it a win.”
He smirked. “Told ya I had it handled.”
You slid off the bike, stretching your legs. “Alright, sugar bear. Let’s get these macarons inside before Jean hunts us down.”
Logan grunted but grabbed the boxes from the saddlebag, handing you yours before leading the way inside. The moment you stepped through the doors, the distant sound of music and chatter spilled into the hallway.
You smirked. “Sounds like the party’s in full swing.”
Logan rolled his eyes. “Great.”
You nudged him playfully. “Oh, come on. It won’t kill you to be social for one night.”
He gave you a look. “Wanna bet?”
Before you could respond, a familiar voice cut in.
“There you guys are!”
Jean appeared from around the corner, arms crossed but a knowing smirk on her lips. “Was starting to think you got lost.”
Logan grunted, holding up the pastry box. “Got your damn macarons, didn’t we?”
Jean took them, amused. “And you made it in one piece. I’ll call that a success.” She glanced at you, smirk widening. “Enjoy the ride?”
You crossed your arms, smirking right back. “I mean, I was mildly impressed. Didn’t even have to cling to him for dear life.”
Logan exhaled sharply, shaking his head. “I hate both of ya.”
Jean just laughed. “Come on, you two. Let’s get to the party.”
You followed her down the hall, Logan trailing behind you like he was already regretting every life decision that led him to this moment. The music grew louder as you got closer, and when Jean pushed open the doors to the common room, the full chaos of the Valentine’s party hit you.
Streamers, heart-shaped balloons, and way too much red and pink covered every inch of the space. A long table near the wall was packed with snacks, desserts—including your macarons—and an absolutely massive punch bowl that looked suspiciously spiked.
“Oh, this is festive,” you mused, glancing around.
“Festive’s one word for it,” Logan muttered.
Jean handed off the box of macarons to Ororo, who grinned when she saw you. “Glad you made it!”
“Of course,” you said, smirking. “Wouldn’t miss an excuse to see Logan suffer through social interaction.”
Ororo chuckled. “Well, you’re in luck, because he can’t sneak out this time. Scott already said if he disappears before midnight, he’s getting put on dish duty for the next month.”
You turned to Logan. “I like this rule.”
Logan just grunted. “’S bullshit.”
Jean smirked. “Then you better stick around.”
Ororo pulled you away toward the dessert table before Logan could complain more. “Come on, you have to try some of the punch before Bobby finishes it off.”
“I’m pretty sure that’s just straight-up vodka at this point,” you said, eyeing the bowl.
“Exactly.”
You laughed but let her pour you a cup. The party was already in full swing—students dancing, music blasting, people laughing over whatever nonsense was happening near the pool table. It was easy, fun, not a bad way to spend a night.
Logan, however, looked like he wanted to be anywhere else. He had posted up near the bar, arms crossed, sipping a beer while occasionally glaring at anyone who got too close.
You made your way over, drink in hand. “Having fun?”
He gave you a flat look.
You grinned. “That bad, huh?”
He sighed. “Too loud.”
“Aw, poor thing,” you teased, nudging him. “Bet you’d rather be back at the bakery eating peanut butter cookies in broody silence.”
Logan took a sip of his beer. “Damn right.”
You smirked, leaning against the bar. “Well, if you survive the night, maybe I’ll consider rewarding you with some.”
His eyes flicked toward you, something unreadable in his expression. “That so?”
“Maybe.” You took a sip of your drink. “Depends on how grumpy you get.”
Logan scoffed but didn’t argue. Instead, he watched you over the rim of his bottle, like he was figuring something out.
Before either of you could say anything else, Rogue appeared, grinning. “Oh, good, you’re both here.”
You raised an eyebrow. “That’s never a good sign.”
“I need you two for somethin’.”
Logan immediately shook his head. “No.”
Rogue rolled her eyes. “You don’t even know what it is.”
“Don’t need to.”
She ignored him and turned to you. “We’re playin’ Seven Minutes in Heaven.”
You nearly choked on your drink. “You’re what?”
Rogue smirked. “C’mon, it’s tradition. Just pick a name outta the hat.”
Logan was already turning to leave. “Hell no.”
You grabbed his arm before he could make an escape. “Oh, come on, sugar. Don’t be a coward.”
He shot you a look. “I ain’t playin’ some dumbass game.”
Rogue crossed her arms. “Then you gotta do dish duty for a month.”
Logan clenched his jaw.
You grinned. “I like this rule.”
Logan exhaled sharply, then snatched a name from the hat. He glanced at it, scowled, then crumpled the paper in his fist. “This is stupid.”
Rogue smirked, looking at you. “Your turn.”
You sighed, reaching into the hat. When you unfolded the paper, your eyes widened slightly.
Logan.
You looked up, meeting his gaze. His expression was unreadable, but you caught the slight twitch of his jaw.
Rogue clapped her hands together. “Welp, you know the rules. Closet’s that way.”
You turned to Logan, smirking. “Guess we’re doin’ this.”
He huffed. “Guess so.”
Rogue practically shoved you both toward the closet, grinning. “Have fun, lovebirds.”
The door shut behind you with a click.
You turned to Logan, arms crossed. “So. This is happening.”
He exhaled sharply. “Tch.”
The space wasn’t exactly roomy. You were standing close, close enough to catch the scent of cigar smoke and something warm, familiar.
You smirked. “You look like you’d rather fight Sabretooth again than be in here right now.”
Logan rolled his eyes. “Ain’t far off.”
You chuckled, then leaned back slightly. “Relax, sugar. It’s just a game.”
He studied you for a moment, then shook his head. “You really don’t let up, do ya?”
“Nope.”
Silence stretched between you. There was something… different about being this close, no bar or counter between you, nothing but the dim glow of light filtering under the door.
Your gaze flicked to his lips, just for a second, before you looked back up at his eyes. His expression was unreadable, but there was something else there—something you couldnt quite place.
You raised an eyebrow. “What’re you thinking?”
Logan exhaled slowly, then smirked. “You really wanna know?”
You tilted your head. “Yeah.”
He leaned in slightly, just enough to make your breath catch.
“…Thinkin’ this is a real stupid game,” he muttered.
You huffed a laugh, shaking your head. “Terrible answer.”
Logan grunted, crossing his arms. “Yeah, well. Ain’t much of a game to begin with.”
You smirked, leaning back against the closet wall. “You know, for someone who acts like he doesn’t give a damn about party games, you sure are committed to standing here in silence.”
Logan shot you a look. “Ain’t like I got a choice.”
“You always got a choice, sugar,” you mused, tilting your head. “Could’ve taken dish duty.”
“Rather be in here than deal with Scott’s bitchin’.”
You chuckled. “That’s fair.”
Silence stretched between you again. The closet wasn’t big, barely enough space for both of you without standing close. Logan stayed where he was, arms crossed, shoulders tense.
You tapped your fingers against the wall, glancing at him. “You ever actually played this before?”
He exhaled sharply. “What, you think I spent my younger years crammed in closets with gigglin’ teenagers?”
You grinned. “I dunno, Logan. You’ve been around a while. Gotta imagine at least one girl managed to talk you into it.”
He huffed. “Ain’t my thing.”
“Yeah, I figured.” You shifted, crossing one leg over the other. “You don’t really seem like the party type. More of a ‘drink alone in a dive bar and pretend you don’t wanna talk to anyone’ kinda guy.”
Logan shot you a dry look. “You got me all figured out, huh?”
You tapped your temple. “I’m observant.”
He didn’t answer, but you caught the slight twitch of amusement at the corner of his mouth.
You let the silence linger for a beat before speaking again. “You know, seven minutes is a long time. You might as well entertain me.”
Logan raised an eyebrow. “Entertain you?”
“Yeah. Tell me something.”
He scoffed. “Ain’t got nothin’ to say.”
“Oh, I doubt that,” you mused. “You just don’t like talking.”
Logan rolled his eyes. “You do enough of that for both of us.”
You pressed a hand to your chest. “You wound me, sugar bear.”
He exhaled sharply. “Don’t call me that.”
“You never complain when I say it outside of a closet.”
“’Cause outside of a closet, I can walk away.”
You smirked. “You sure about that? ’Cause last time I checked, you keep coming back.”
Logan grunted, looking away. “This is the longest seven minutes of my goddamn life.”
“Oh, come on. You’re having fun.”
“The hell I am.”
You chuckled, shaking your head. “Alright, fine. If you’re not gonna talk, I’ll just have to fill the silence myself.”
Logan sighed. “Fantastic.”
You ignored his sarcasm and leaned your head back against the wall. “Alright, let’s see… Did I ever tell you about the time a guy tried to rob me with a butter knife?”
That actually got Logan’s attention. His brows pulled together slightly. “The hell?”
You grinned. “Yeah. Came in one night, all twitchy, pulls a damn butter knife from his sleeve like it was supposed to be intimidating. Told me to empty the register.”
Logan tilted his head. “What’d you do?”
You smirked. “Took the knife out of his hand and gave him a scone.”
Logan stared at you, then shook his head. “You’re ridiculous.”
“I prefer resourceful,” you said, grinning. “Besides, guy was clearly desperate. Didn’t have the heart to kick his ass.”
Logan grunted. “Lucky for him.”
“Lucky for me, too. He actually came back a week later with a real apology. Bought a dozen muffins.”
Logan huffed a quiet laugh, shaking his head. “Only you.”
You shrugged, clearly pleased with yourself. “Hey, you’re the one who said I talk too much. This is what you get. I could also talk about the time my cousin carpooled with—”
Logan cut you off mid-sentence. Not with a glare, not with a grumble—no, this time, he shut you up the only way that was guaranteed to work.
By kissing you.
It was sudden, barely enough time to react before he stepped forward, backing you up until your shoulders hit the wall. His hand came up, palm pressing flat beside your head, caging you in without a single word.
Your breath caught, brain short-circuiting for half a second before instinct kicked in. You kissed him back, fingers curling slightly at your sides like you were debating grabbing onto him.
Logan didn’t rush it—didn’t press too hard, didn’t let it turn into something it wasn’t meant to be. But it was firm, deliberate, enough to make your knees feel just a little weak.
And then, just as suddenly as it started, he pulled back.
The closet felt even smaller than before.
For a few long, charged moments, neither of you said anything. You were still pressed against the wall, Logan still close, his hand still braced by your head. His eyes flicked over your face, scanning for something, though you weren’t sure what.
Your heart was pounding, but you weren’t about to be the one to break first.
So, instead, you smirked, tilting your head slightly. “So… does this mean you’re my valentine now?”
Logan exhaled sharply, shaking his head. “You never let up, do ya?”
“Nope.” Your grin widened. “Not even after being dramatically kissed in a broom closet.”
Logan huffed, but he didn’t move away. He stayed right there, close enough that you could still feel his warmth, still smell the faint trace of whiskey and cigar smoke clinging to his jacket.
You tapped a finger against his chest. “I mean, you did just make a pretty big statement. If I didn’t know any better, I’d think you actually like me.”
Logan grunted. “Don’t push it.”
You grinned. “That wasn’t a no.” You reached up, tapping his bottom lip with your finger, “c’mon sugar bear. Would I really be that bad of a valentine?”
Logan exhaled sharply through his nose, eyes flicking between yours. "You’re real pushy, you know that?"
You smirked. "And yet, here you are. In a closet. With me." Your finger was still resting against his lip, and you tapped it lightly, just to mess with him. "So, sugar bear, what’s the verdict?"
Logan caught your wrist before you could do it again, his grip firm but not rough. "That name’s gonna be the death of me."
"You’ll survive." You grinned. "So? Valentine or not?"
Logan didn’t answer right away. He still hadn’t let go of your wrist, his thumb brushing absently against your skin like he hadn’t noticed he was doing it. His gaze flickered down to your lips, then back up, his jaw tightening slightly like he was debating something.
Then, without a word, he let go, stepping back just enough to put space between you.
You arched an eyebrow. "That’s it?"
Logan crossed his arms. "What else you want, a damn serenade?"
"Well, now that you mention it—"
"Not happenin’."
You chuckled, tilting your head. "Alright, fine. No singing. But I’ll take that kiss as a yes."
Logan scoffed. "You assume too much."
"Mm. Do I?" You tapped your chin in mock thought. "You kissed me. Didn’t push me away. Didn’t tell me to shut up. And now you’re looking at me like you’re still considerin’ round two."
Logan’s jaw ticked. "You’re real smug."
"You like it," you shot back easily.
He didn’t confirm or deny it. Just exhaled sharply and ran a hand through his hair.
"Alright," you said, watching him. "Since you clearly can’t admit it, I’ll do it for you. Logan Howlett, the grumpiest man in Westchester, is officially my Valentine."
Logan rolled his eyes. "You’re impossible."
"And yet, here you are," you teased, throwing his own words back at him.
Logan shook his head, but the corner of his mouth twitched—just barely, but you caught it. "You done yet?"
"Not even close." You smirked, reaching for the doorknob. "But I’ll give you a break… for now."
Before you could turn it, Logan caught your wrist again, stopping you.
You raised an eyebrow. "Changed your mind?"
He didn’t answer right away. Just held your gaze for a second longer than necessary before he muttered, low and gruff, "you talk too much."
Then he kissed you again.
This time, there was no hesitation. No half-measures. Just Logan pressing you back against the closet wall, one hand curling around your waist, the other braced beside your head. The kiss was slower this time, deliberate, like he wanted to make sure you wouldn’t talk your way out of it.
Not that you were planning to.
You grinned against his lips, fisting the front of his jacket and pulling him closer. "See?" you murmured. "Told you you liked me."
Logan grunted but didn’t stop kissing you. Didn’t pull away.
Didn’t even argue.
i hope this was valentine-y enough! <3

You stirred, shifting onto your right shoulder and nuzzling the side of your face into the pillow beneath it. Floating within the idleness between slumber and consciousness, you embraced the warmth encapsuled underneath the duvet, most of it of oozing off the body resting beside you.
It was tranquil, quiet, your mind hopping between events as you recalled the unproductive day: Honeyed voice echoing in your ears and dimpled smile greeting your dreary eyes as soon as they’d opened to meet the new day’s sun. A new year’s sun. The catchy jingle of a birthday song had rolled off his tongue, the convenience store cupcake he balanced atop his palm holding a singular, lit candle. The flame danced as he approached your waking figure, his smile unwavering and eyes growing fonder while watching you rub the remnants of sleep off your eyes with the heel of your palm. Vanilla frosting painted your skin as soon as the soft flame blew out, a wish for happy days such as this to continue dying on your tongue, the off-white turning golden under the early morning rays peeking at your giggling figures through the open chiffon blinds. Vanilla frosting soon painted his face as well, unable to resist embracing you, his heart panging against his chest and yours, singing an encore of your birthday song.
You’d barely left your bed, walking back from the bathroom to find a tray holding a heaped plate of pancakes on your duvet — some clearly burnt and shoved under the pile in an act of concealment. He sat at the edge of the bed, sheepish smile on his face and wide, glimmering eyes begging to be praised. And what you were was a weak woman, barely giving the plate another glance before throwing yourself at the anxiously waiting man, endless kisses pressed to his dimpled cheeks and praise rolling off your tongue until hearty giggles shook his chest. You fell back onto the mattress, the sheets undone and bunched under your shared weight while you nuzzled into his neck. The laughter died down, and kisses turned into peppered pecks as you basked in each other’s warmth, your palms resting over his heart while he held you against his chest. The steam that’d been dancing above the golden pancakes had dissipated by the time you’d reached for the tray, a particularly loud growl voicing your stomach’s needs and parting you from the smiley man. He watched you eat, shaking his head when you’d angled the bite towards him, then pouting as he chewed after having it forced it into his mouth regardless. The stars in his eyes twinkled brighter the emptier the plate grew, nodding along to any and each word leaving your maple-covered lips while missing the context altogether. He continued to keep up a conversation he wasn’t following, fond eyes taking in your unmatched pyjamas and dishevelled hair, the hints of sleep hanging onto your eyelids as you took another bite of the breakfast he’d made you.
Oh, how thankful he was for your existence. For every breath you took by his side, he was thankful. And while birthday wishes are kept a secret — a whispered prayer for a long life surrounded by the comforting scent of baby powder — Choi San had vowed to celebrate you from the first moment you’d graced him with a smile.
-
The empty plates from breakfast still sat at your nightstand, the faint aroma of sweet maple syrup mingling in the air around you. Your stomach growled. The memory of a bandaged finger wrapped around his fork paused at the front of your mind, your hand absent-mindedly searching over the wrinkled sheets for his to hold. Your eyebrows furrowed when it came up empty, only for his hand to find you instead, fingers wrapping around yours and lifting them up to his lips. His mouth pressed to your knuckles, and you sensed the movement of his body as he shuffled closer, wide shoulders enveloping yours and your head cushioned against his chest, hand dropped back at your side.
“What time is it?” You mumbled against his shirt, finally blinking your eyes open to take in the faint golden hue painting the walls, the curtains open only a sliver, widening momentarily with every gentle breeze.
“A little past six,” San replied against your hair.
It hadn’t been long since you’d fallen asleep, then. Maybe an hour or two. Though uneventful, the day had passed by quickly, and while a past version of yourself would’ve preferred a luxurious outing, adorned in red lipstick and a fitted dress for San to ogle at, the simplicity in which your day had been spent — loved and cared for, celebrated in the most earnest of ways — no lavish dinner could have compared.
As the last of your forgotten dream dwindled away, you became more and more aware of the day’s laziness clinging to your body: the aftertaste of breakfast lingering in the back of your throat, the tank top underneath your hoodie beginning to cling to your skin as you overheated within San’s embrace, your face begging for a splash of cold water.
San whined when you untangled yourself from his hold, pulling at your sleeves in an attempt to keep you flush against his chest. “I need to wash up,” you giggled, leaning over his face to plant kisses over the highs of his cheeks.
“But I’ll miss you,” he pouted, lips quivering in a suppressed smile when yours reached them.
A familiar jingle sounded at the ajar door, furry footsteps making their way towards the shared bed where you continued your attempts of escaping the man’s arms. The Siamese hopped onto the mattress, bright eyes taking in the scene before approaching further.
“Byeol’s here to keep you company,” you watched as she nuzzled into San’s cheek, her chest vibrating with a content purr. The hand wrapped around your waist now moved to smooth over Byeol’s head, and you took that as a chance to hop off the bed, looking back at the betrayal glinting within his eyes. You cooed, walking to his side of the bed to plant a wet kiss onto his forehead, then onto Byeol’s, “I won’t be long.”
San watched your back disappear behind the doorframe, absentmindedly running his fingers over Byeol’s fur until she grew sick of it, walking away from him as well. Your scent clung to him, and yet he felt the need to roll over and dig his face into your still-warm pillow, inhaling the sweet aroma of your shampoo. A sense of comfort rushed through him as images of your smile, the mellow sound of your giggles, flashed into his mind. A day you’d expressed antipathy towards now filled with smiles and giggles. San felt accomplished. While he respected your feelings and the vulnerability you’d granted him while expressing them, his favourite person believing themselves unworthy of being celebrated felt wrong.
Flowers, homemade cakes, walks under the stars, hummed melodies or belted lyrics — San had somehow made you look forward to a day you’d once dreaded. While it wasn’t much different than how he’d usually treat you, the consistency of his love had made every breath you took a blessing, every second spent apart tormenting, tension only releasing with the crush of his solacing embrace.
The warm stream ran over your scalp, your shoulder and down your sides into the drain, the floral scent of body wash mingling with the steam surrounding your figure. San’s whines echoed louder in your ears the longer you remained idle, nagging you to crawl back into his arms. You hurried through the rest of your routine, drying your hair the best you could before slipping a clean hoodie of San’s over your form.
You stared back at your reflection — fatigue leaving its mark on your undereyes, eyebrows undone and skincare routine too inconsistent to achieve the results you’d hoped it would. Every so often, you’d wonder how San perceived you. What did you look like in his eyes? Reaching for the door handle, you shook your head, dispelling those thoughts before San could sense them. You knew he’d get upset at any hint of insecurity.
San laid on his back — now on your side of the bed — duvet bunched at his waist and eyes trained onto the ceiling. The door creaked, dragging his attention to your sneaking figure, his eyes lighting up then softening as you stood there, digging your hands into the pockets of his stolen hoodie. Stolen sweatpants as well, it seemed, stifling a laugh at how they barely hung onto your hips.
Your eyes met, and you let out a breath you didn’t realise you’d been holding. You knew exactly how you appeared in San’s eyes, it translated into everything he did, everything he said, down to the momentary looks shared and the grazing touches that lit your skin aflame. A sense of shame overcame you; how could you ever doubt him? A man who put his all into every word of adoration, each syllable dripping with the overwhelming emotion he held in his chest. His palm warm against your skin, delicate as it glided over you as though you were a fragile art piece, your worth unmeasurable and deserving of the utmost care. To Choi San, you were everything: hushed giggles and the inviting scent of roses — it was hypnotic. Over all the years you’d spent together, never could he cease to want you. Never could he control it.
He reached his arm towards you, flattening over the mattress with his palm up, beckoning you closer with a whisper and the twitch of his pointer and middle fingers, “C’mere.”
Nearly tripping over your feet, you rushed to the shared bed, crawling halfway to where he laid before he was on top of you, manhandling you onto your back as his lips found yours. Despite the million kisses you’d shared, possibly a few hundred since you’d greeted the new day, San’s kisses felt novel. A morning of rolling around in bed, lazy smiles and frosting smeared over your skin, San offered his first celebration, making love to you while your candle's wick was still steaming. Yet it all felt novel.
His lips fought a one-sided battle, perhaps a little too eager as his insides engulfed with flames of want. You, looking so pleased in his clothes. You, eyes downcast and cheeks rosy when he’d smeared the first line of frosting over your cheek. You, hurling yourself over him with praise rolling off your tongue after he’d managed a few half-burnt pancakes. You. You. You. He wanted you.
“I want you,” he whispered over your lips, cutting off any response you had and pressing his mouth back on yours.
Butterflies thrashed in your lower belly, arms wrapping around San’s shoulders before slipping down to tug at the hem of his shirt. He didn’t respond, his hands kneading at your hips as he deepened the kiss even further, nose digging into your cheek and teeth clashing, saliva coating your chin and his. His shirt now bunched at his chest, you struggled to keep up with his lips, tongue swiping over yours before dipping between them for more of your taste. You let go of the cotton, cupping his cheeks and forcing his face back a few centimetres, sucking in a deep breath once the cool air of your room hit your damp face. San’s eyes remained closed, lips pouted as he pushed against your palms — he wanted more.
“San, breathe—”
He brushed his lips against yours, pressing softly before pulling away to mumble under his breath, “gonna make you feel so good.” You felt short of breath again, watching as he straightened up to pull his shirt off before lowering his body weight back onto you, “I’ll make you feel as pretty as you are,” no hunger, no urgency, only a tender need to love and celebrate your being. “my pretty girl,” he planted a kiss to the high of your cheek, feline eyes softened the longer they stared into yours as he thumbed at the other, “mine.”
Yours, you thought, while his lips trailed lower, over the harsh bob of your throat and past the cotton bunched across your chest — your shirt pulled as high as it would go, no patience to take it off you. San’s lips brushed a straight line down your naval, his hands giving your breast the attention they didn’t, too focused on their end goal. Gentle squeezes and the delicate brush of his thumbs over perked-up nipples, your breath stuttered, abdomen rising and falling unrhythmically under San’s touch. He dug his nose into the soft skin under your bellybutton, just shy of your sweatpants’ band, and looked up at you through his eyelashes.
Your heart jumped, watching as he adjusted, dragging your bottoms and panties down with him as he laid himself flat onto his stomach between your legs. Your chest flushed as he took in your exposed core, “San, you don’t have to—"
“Fuck, angel, I want to,” he shut you down, nuzzling into the crook where your thigh and pelvis met, “I want you so bad.”
San’s hips mirrored yours, rolling upwards to meet his waiting mouth while his relentlessly humped the mattress below him. Ecstasy — your sweet taste on his tongue, dripping down and coating his chin as he hungrily charged in for more. He allowed you the freedom to take what you wanted, and though your movements only grew more desperate, it still wasn’t enough. A toned arm wrapped around your hips to still their frenzied ruts, legs thrown over his shoulders squeezing his head between them and your cunt spitting hot streams of arousal mere millimetres from his face. San could’ve come untouched.
Leaning in, he licked a stripe from your clenching hole to your clit, taking it between his lips and running his tongue over the sensitive bud while you spasmed under him, the arm around your hips keeping your lower half still. Two fingers breached your weeping rim, still pliable from when he’d had you in the morning, yet the stretch was present nonetheless, arching your back and digging your hips into the sheets to drag him deeper inside.
“So desperate f’me,” he mumbled against your clit, peeking his tongue out to place kitten licks on and around it, “so sensitive, my pretty girl.”
Feline eyes flitted upwards to peer at you, lust and want burning behind his irises, yet his gaze was soft. As though you’d painted the changing hues cast by a setting sun outside the window to your right, hand-mixing the blend of blues and magenta to brush over the starry sky. He climbed up your body, leaving a trail of wetness where kisses trailed his ascend. His lips covered your parted ones, inhaling the soft breaths of pleasure you released as his fingers continued pumping into your cunt, curled just right to render you pliable and thoughtless under him, too lost in his touch to recognise your own taste on your tongue.
“Close,” you whispered against his lips, the tremor of your thighs around him enough proof.
“Good.”
You bucked up into San’s touch, clit running against his palm with the motion and driving you straight into an orgasm — head thrown back allowing him to tuck his own into your neck, the vibration of your moans felt against his cheek. Locked in a state of bliss, eyes shut and back arched, you floated within the high San had so generously granted you. The fingers sheathed deep within you slipped out to dance over your sensitive bud, hips jerking once, twice before dropping a hand to wrap around San’s wrist, halting the movement.
He backed away, straightening up to throw your shirt off and across the room. His eyes lowered back to your form, bare chest rising and falling and knees bent inwards as you recovered, eyes dazed as you stared up at him. Digging his tongue into the corner of his mouth, he relished the remnants of your slick coating his lips and their surroundings, aching to bury himself between your shivering thighs once again. Instead, he lowered himself over your bare frame, meeting your waiting lips and inhaling sharply through his nose, groaning at the mind-numbing lines your nails drew down his spine before wrapping your arms around his narrow waist, tugging him closer until the cotton of his boxers met your core.
Palms cupping your cheeks, San pressed harsh kisses into the heated skin of your face, over your nose and eyelids before returning to your mouth, tongue running over your bottom lip as he dragged his aching, clothed cock over your mound. Back and forth, throaty moans exhaled over your face, feline eyes fluttering shut as the feeling of you finally washed over him.
He bumped your foreheads together, eyes still closed, “ready for me?”
Please say you’re ready for me, his tone pleaded.
You nodded, but San interrupted before you could voice your consent, “I’ll fuck you so good, baby. Will you let me do that?”
A lumped formed itself in your throat, arousal gushing out of you to seep into the material separating you from him. San was relentless, the heat of you overwhelming enough to keep him still, and yet his eyes refused to open. Refused to see how your features contorted to raw lust, want, need.
“Let me give you all I have, my darling. All for you—“
San’s eyes snapped open when your hand met his mouth, vision filled with you. His woman. Now rolling her hips against him, eyes glassy and wanting, swallowing heavily between airy moans, “please, please, stop talking and just fuck me. “
His boxers reached mid-thigh before his impatience took over, your legs flying to one side before he bent himself over your body with his leaking head at your entrance. The stretch of his girth was welcomed, a sigh leaving your lips when he’d breached your hole and slid himself between your clenching walls.
A chocked moan left San’s lips, “fuck, ‘m gonna come already.”
Finally sheathed within your heat, he readjusted your position, restless as he parted your thighs and threw them over his, leaning down to take you into his arms. Though you’d taken him earlier that day, San’s touch left your nerves burning, a pit of heat only growing in your stomach the more he neared you. Your eyes remained shut, muscles tense as the fullness slowly overwhelmed your senses.
“You gotta relax for me, love,” he muttered, trailing tender kisses over your temples and cheekbones, an arm wrapped around your waist while his free hand drew gentle circles over your hips with his thumb. “Good girl, there you go,” smiling as your eyes finally met his, relaxing in his hold. “It’s just me.”
It was just San.
The boiling heat within you simmered down to an encompassing warmth, soothing your nerves and leaving you wanting more once again. Your nails clawed at wide shoulders, chanting San’s name until the man’s composure cracked, the arm around your waist tightening its hold before driving his hips into yours. The drag of his cock nearly sent you into a state of madness, your hand flying to grip his forearm, only for him to slide it down to his own hand, locking fingers with you at your hip.
“Breathe for me, my darling,” San spoke, as though he wasn’t fucking into you like he’d been starved of your touch, his own breathing erratic as he attempted to build up a rhythm amidst the pool of lust he’d found himself drowning in.
Pleasure seared through your body, vision blurring and skin scorching within the bubble of warmth San had surrounded you with. His grip on your hand grounded you, eyes scanning over his furrowed eyebrows to witness the silent battle he fought against his urges — he wanted to take, to seek pleasure within the hypnotic squeeze of your walls, to hold you against his chest and have you full of his love, until your pussy wept out what it could no longer hold.
San shivered atop of you. The roll of his name off your tongue drew him back to the present, a warm palm caressing the growing stubble near his jaw. “Where’d you go?”
The soft whisper cleared the tension wrinkling his forehead, his features relaxing under your touch and the relentless rutting dissolving into a languid grind. The storm within his head now dissipated, San looked down at the gleam coating your skin, reflecting the sun’s dying rays. He’d celebrated the start of the day with giggles and tender kisses as you rolled around in bed, and now, with the gradient of purples and pinks bidding farewell to the celebrations, San wanted nothing more but to spend the remaining hours of the day you were born revering your very being. A being who’d redefined beauty the first time his eyes had landed on her. How could he ever take from you?
He leaned down to peck the side of your mouth, “I’m right here.”
You ran a thumb over the high of San’s cheek, taking in the softening features before the head of his cock brushed over your sweet spot, inhaling a soft gasp as the shot of pleasure shocked you. San moved down to steal another kiss, grabbing the backs of your thighs to pull your pelvis closer to him, revelling in the hushed echo of your moans in the minimal space separating your faces, easing back into a steady rhythm.
“Always so good f’me,” San groaned, fucking his whole length into your clenching cunt before grinding against you, your clit trapped under the veined skin of his pelvis. He let go of one of your thighs to press the heel of his palm down on your lower belly, “taking me so well,” he planted a kiss against the ‘o’ of your lips, “my good girl.”
You were so close, and with San’s palm pressing against where his cock was buried within you, you couldn’t help but squeeze your eyes shut. Except now, the hand once teasing above your clit brushed its knuckles over the length of your jaw.
“Uh-uh...Don’t hide,” he tsked, caressing the area surrounding your eyes with the plush of his lips. Small pecks planted against the tensed skin until it eased, “look at me, my love, let me see you.”
The tenderness in his tone, the slight whine he’d attempted to conceal, it pried your eyelids open before you could resist the temptation. The sight of wide shoulders greeted you, a smile warmer than the dying sunset witnessing the hedonic show of love growing as San met your eyes once again.
“There you are,” you thought you’d heard relief in his voice, as though a minute separated from your gaze had torn his world apart, his hold on you growing tighter, and so had yours.
Desperate hands gripped at his shoulders and back, eyes pleading for him to give you more. Your lips formed an imperfect circle when the heavy presence filling you up retreated, pausing halfway before pushing back in to grind against your stretched hole. Though gentle, San fucked ferociously, starved and seeking more, cock dripping with your slick until a thick ring of cream formed against his base. Even as you clawed at his back and slobbered against the hand squeezing your jaw, eyes teary and thighs spasming with pleasure, San fucked into your pussy as thought he’d never have you again. The squelch of your arousal, the magnetic clench around his cock — thick and heavy, moulding your cunt to his shape — San was on the brink of hysteria.
“Need you to come,” he managed between deep ah’s, peppering wet kisses over your temples, squeezing the hand holding your jaw until your lips puckered. “Wanna give you all I have,” he inhaled a breathy moan you’d let out, harshly sealing his mouth over yours before pulling away to take in your dazed features, “wanna be good for you.”
“Want that, please—fuck,” you rolled your hips to meet his relentless thrusts, ankles locked at his lower back to guide him into your needy cunt. “Want it all.”
“You gotta come first, my love. Let me feel you,” his hand eased around your face, kisses gentle in their continued journey across your cheeks. “Come, and I’ll give it you, fuck it into you so good,” his fingers brushed over your hardened nipple in their decent, palm splaying out over your lower belly, “so deep you won’t need to worry about it spilling out.”
“Fuck, San, don’t stop—”
A shiver ran through your body, pleasure blurring your vision as it shot up your spine in scorching waves. San’s cock continued pumping into your pussy, a finger sneaking its way to your clit to tip you over the edge with unrhythmic flicks. You convulsed beneath him, back arching until your chests pressed flush, hips bucking simultaneously towards and away from his frenzied thrusts as whimpered praise rolled off his tongue, breathed out between sloppy kisses pressed to your glimmering skin. Moonlight danced off the sweat beading over his heaving chest, groans turned into desperate moans as he fucked into you, steady rhythm long gone now that his high was merely a breath away.
“San,” breathless, you reached out for him, “San,” cupping his face, moans blowing over the heated skin as you neared overstimulation. “Be good for me, San. Give it to me.”
A whole-body shudder rushed through him when the dizzying clench of your used cunt drove him over the edge. His thighs trembled against yours, pulsing cock shoved deep within you to spread a familiar warmth through your lower belly, hot cum fed into your womb as the limbs holding you against his body twitched with the force of his orgasm. San’s face in the crook of your neck, your arms wrapped around his sweat-clad back, drawing circles with your palm over the exerted muscle while he continued rutting into your wet hole, pearly beads of cum seeping out to sink into the sheets beneath you. It wasn’t until building pangs of pain blended with the pleasure that your hold on San tightened, a hand slipping down to his hip as a signal. Stilling yet remaining encased within your heat, San lifted his weight off you to find your eyes with his own — lidded, fond, enamoured.
The lips pecking at yours only graced you with their softness for a few moments, your taste lingering on his tongue, before strong arms dragged your limp form out of bed. You’d whined and held on to the warm — soiled — sheets, but the pout puckering your lips eased after your body sunk into the steaming bath he’d hurriedly prepared. The aroma of rose and lavender mingled in the vapour dancing around you, your back to San’s solid chest, those same, soft lips finding their way to your skin, tracing imaginary lines over the length of your neck and down to your shoulders.
You basked in the comfortable silence, sliding further down into the water and allowing your eyes to fall shut. You weren’t sure when you’d started disliking your birthday, when you grew to dread the one day in the year dedicated to you. You also weren’t sure when that changed, when you’d started looking forward to it again. Perhaps it was San and his insistence on bringing joy into your life. His smile, the way his gaze fell upon your form; it was enthralling. A past you would have wondered if love would ever find you, but you now knew that love came in the form of a wide-shouldered man. A hopeless romantic vowing to teach you the undefined meaning of devotion.
The tips of your fingers wrinkled from the bath, you crawled back in bed and tucked yourself into San’s chest as the remaining hours of the evening ticked by, relishing the warmth he surrounded you with and allowing the day’s fatigue to wash over you. There was no urgency, no dread, the reminiscent scent of baby powder and roses seeping into the fresh set of sheets you’d laid on. And as you conceded to slumber’s gentle tug on your eyelids, you recited your birthday wish as though it was a prayer, hoping the dimpled man accompanied you to dreamland, longing to meet his eyes again once the new day’s sun peeked its head past the horizon.
