Because we know Null was originally going to be the main villain's kwami at some point, what if the wish's price for this seemingly perfect utopia was the imminent doom of the entire universe, caused by the corruption of a kwami?

Think about it this way, Gabriel was transformed when he got cataclysmed, which might have been the only reason it took so long for the effects to spread and slowly kill him, but that then begs the question -

Who got the brunt of the blow? Who was really affected the most? Well, if the miraculous protected Gabriel to an extent, it stands to reason Nooroo was left to absorb most of the destruction.

The wish resulted in a paradise state for Paris with seemingly no effort, but I think I know what the trade off was.

Nooroo has been getting more and more desperate in the later seasons, until finally he broke.

He couldn't take it anymore, so he decided to give up and let the corruption consume him.

And through the wish taking everything good out of him and giving it back to Paris

He was transformed into something unrecognizable that should not be

Something meant to remain formless and nameless by its very nature

The opposite of Transmission, Kwami of Negation

Nooroo was gone and in his place was an empty void

The manifestion of nothingness

Null.

Am I the only one who noticed that in addition to being the Kwamis of Creation and Destruction, Tikki and Plagg are also the Kwamis of Nothingness and Being? Look at what they said: Tikki: I am Tikki, the kwami of Creation! I am everything that isn't yet (Nothingness) and is yet to be (Creation)! Plagg: I am Plagg, the kwami of Destruction! I am everything that is (Being) and no longer will be (Destruction)!

It kinda seemed like for Tikki, she said the same thing twice, which seems to be more along the lines of (Potential) - things that WILL be, just not yet.

OK so I dont really like this but this 2012 tmnt mermaid au has been driving me INSANE so here are some mermaid designs for the boys (which I might change if I draw more stuff for this au) and some lore for the au under the cut!

also Donnie is ftm and Leo is mtf and those are the facts! (Donnie did do top surgery on himself, do NOT ask me how he did that underwater safely)

There is a yokai described in Japanese literature called the ningyo, a creature that is half human and half fish. Legend says that if you capture a ningyo and eat its flesh, that you will be granted eternal life. Hamato Yoshi and Oroku Saki were familiar with these legends, though Saki always believed in them more than Yoshi. Saki believed in the legends so much that he became obsessed with finding the legendary ningyo and becoming immortal after consuming its flesh. Yoshi accompanied his brother on these ventures, more out of a sense of familiar duty and a need to watch out for his younger brother than an actual belief in the ningyo.

And of course, it just so happens that the brother who does not at all believe in the existence of yokai would be the one to find one. Yoshi encounters Tang Shen, a ningyo who has been living throughout the local freshwater river system. And suddenly Yoshi realizes that Saki's quest for murder might actually come true since apparently these ningyo are very much real. So now whenever he accompanies Saki on his hunting quests, he does everything in his ability to try to dissuade Saki from his plan, and when he realizes that isn't going to work, he starts to sabotage Saki's efforts. And Yoshi does this because well he kept in contact with Tang Shen, and the two became close friends, and son fell in love, bridging the gap between yokai and human.

They can't get married, obviously, Tang Shen is fully a yokai, but they build their lives together and eventually Tang Shen falls pregnant with their daughter Miwa. The two weren't entirely sure what to expect of their child, but Miwa turns out to be a completely normal human child.

Over the years as Yoshi and Tang Shen's love and family grew, Yoshi started pulling away from his birth family, and more noticeably, from Saki, who was you know pretty angry with Yoshi who seemingly disappeared on him with no explanation. Saki channels his anger into his search for the ningyo, and it takes three years but eventually he does finally find one.

Around three years after Miwa was born, Tang Shen and Yoshi welcome in four new kids! Quadruplets! Three boys and a girl. And these four, unlike Miwa, seem to all be fully ningyo, which very much surprised Yoshi and Tang Shen (both the fact that there were four kids and those four kids are all mermaids) but hey, they knew their genetic situation would be weird and they were fully ready to hop into raising these four.

It's only a few days after the birth of their quadruplets, so soon after that they haven't even given them names, that Saki stumbles upon the home of Yoshi and Tang Shen. And He Is Pissed. Not only did his BROTHER ABANDON him but he abandon him to start a family with this yokai? The yokai that he's been hunting all this time? And Saki, like in canon, kills Tang Shen and Miwa. (Or well you know, he kidnaps Miwa and renames her Karai but Yoshi thinks Miwa is dead)

Yoshi manages to get away with the quadruplets in the chaos, and he tries so hard to establish a new life for himself in Japan, but no matter where he goes, Saki manages to find him. Eventually Yoshi gets desperate enough to flee the country, and he finds himself in New York City!

But meanwhile back in Japan, Saki did in fact end up eating Tang Shen but idk how he realizes it but he figures out that he didnt get immortality, and so he concludes that oh, Tang Shen must have been tainted somehow by her relationship with Yoshi, which sucks because now he has to find a whole other ningyo to get immortality. Luckily he happens to know of four ningyo that he would be more than happy to kill, which is basically Saki's drive to finding and killing the Hamatos.

Anyways that's all I have so far!!!! I'm trying to think about how they would live in NYC, if they can somehow become human (in maybe like an H2O just add water situation) or if they are stuck in the water all the time.

I'm leaning towards them being able to shed their fish tails if even only for a small amount of time, just so they can still be ninjas and train on land, since I think Yoshi would still want to train them to defend themselves. I think that if they can be human for a bit, they still get dried out really easily so they can't stay out of the water for very long, probably not long enough for them to go to school full time, so they still live super isolated lives. Or maybe Yoshi figures out a way to train them to fight in the water? Idk suggestions are appreciated!

They do eventually meet April and Casey, I think April is gonna be on the swim team and so she's a fairly strong swimmer (for a human) and so she spends a lot of time in the water with the hamatos which they appreciate a lot! I think maybe Yoshi isn't a super strong swimmer so as much as he tries to spend time with his kids he can't really.

Casey is still on the hockey team and he can't swim, the hamatos try to teach him but they fully dont know how to swim with legs and so they are Bad tm swimming teachers salkdjfh.

Sort of a follow up with my last ask, got any theories for the next part of Splatoon 's story?

I think that we're either gonna see a new enemy group show up OR there's gonna be more focus on the salmonids. So far the salmonids have a lot of unknowns about them and there's a lot of stuff that they can explore. Their society and the way they operate is so fascinating and i hope they replace the Octarians as the next enemy group the New Squidbeak Splatoon has to face. I really wanna explore their home and get further insight into their ways of living and infrastructure.

I also think that Deep Cut is gonna have some sort of significance in the next game, either we get more lore out of them or one of them.... goes evil.... and i am PRAYING TO ALL OF THE GODS IN ALL OF THE RELIGIONS THAT THEY DON'T PULL THE STUPID COP OUTS THEY HAVE BEEN DOING TWICE NOW! If i see Frye or Shiver with some "evil headgear" on I AM GOING TO RANT ABOUT IT FOR THE NEXT 5 YEARS! BELIEVE ME!

Callie with the hypnoshades was handled so poorly in my opinion because you gotta go through so many hoops and bibles of hidden canonical information to fully appreciate the story and not make the same ol' tired interpretations nearly everyone has that are wrong. It's so damn messy and rushed and not everyone knows how hypnosis actually works. And the Controller VM with Marina only lasted for five minutes and Marina gets over it so insanely quickly because they wanted to subvert expectations.

Alright, now for lore drop for her ig!

Burger was a 16-17 year old attending Black Sheep high school, (think thats the high schools canon name-) one day she was found dead, she then went to heaven, not to long after became a fallen angel and was sent down to hell (idk if fallen angels exist- i need to ask Erica but i know shes busy but i really wanna ask in her message box in her blog 😭.) Then you know got a job to haunt people to get people down there so when hell is fully renovated it can go as one would expect.

Very basic very simple, but thats not really detailed, heres ghe detailed version bellow here instead of the basic structure: (Warning mentions of abuse, violent acts, and underage drinking)

Burger grew up in a not so stable household to say, parents were restricting, abusive, unfair, all the bad lables for crappy parents who basically to say failed at their job as a parent. So she mainly grew alone in her room learning guitar (base), and how to cook for herself and bake. She joined a band thats known around school for being cheap and decent. She also had a crush on a former band mate named Hidey. Since their band is known they have some form of social reputation around there, say in the middle of the social status of the school reputation system. One faithful day they got a commission to play at Zacks GFs party (im gonna assume he has one since hes a jock) for a few hours, they accepted. When Burger got home that day she went to go head out but then had a argument with her dad and got her guitar smashed. She ran out the house mad asf and used a near by phone booth to call her friend to get a spare guitar for her, they get the guitar and hwad to the party. They perform a few songs, everyone's happy, they get offered to stay so thru do so they dont seem rude. As Burger partied, Zacks GF dragged her to her room to speak privately, they get in the room, have a few drinks of wine after raiding the liquor cabinet a while back in the party, Zacks GF started to act a little of and before burger could say anything abt it, she gets pinned down onto the bed and gets her head slashed off. Turns out, Zacks GF had red punch looking similar to wine while she had wine,and also turns out Zacks GF hated her guts for one reason. A middle school crush on Zack. The most stupidest reason to have a grudge or kill someone over. So then she got to heaven and got a job as a guardian angel, sucked at that not even showing up to her job and instead did sinful like acts in heaven without knowing and got sent to hell becoming a fallen angel and getting a job to haunt a girl named Maria (which my friends OC) and drive her to suicide.

SO MUCH WORD OMG! But thats the detailish version of it! Maria is my friends OC like i said, she told me i could put her in so yeah. Also they dont have the best bond, simialr to socks and jons but instead of one being a joyful teasing demon, burger is a sarcastic ass, and Maria is a depressed teenager that annoyed by her demon. So basically Jonathan and Jonathan. They have some sentimental moments (AND GAY ASS MOMENTS) where they get a little connection to each other. Burgers has 2 canon connections to 2 canon characters, one with jon which is just rivals and same with sock. She basically hates their guts and constantly tries to persuaded Maria to mess with jon but failes horribly. Essentially shes a mix of Jon, Jojo, and sock in th slightest ways with the simialr characteristics/traits and the general way of acting.

Can I ask how you view Brunim and Forever's relationship since you mentioned it in your last post? You said you viewed it as toxic on both ends and that it messed Forever up, can you go into more detail?

Okay so!! Like I said before in that posts tags, I dont know a WHOLE lot about the canon relationship between q!Forever and... c!Brunim? q!Brunim? Whatever, I dont know the canon but from what iv seen, in rp its very much not healthy. So I ended up building my own hcs for them and idk how accurate they are canon wise but I still like em regardless so im sticking to em lol!

(Tw for talks of abuse, toxic relationships, and unhealthy relationships!)

So first thing to note; These guys were really fucked up, toxic, and probs abusive in several places. They started out softer, kinder, safer, but it did not stay that way. Still, know that they loved each other regardless.

In my head, Brunim was very much the aggressor, and the one who started being toxic, abusive, and obsessive about Forever, and was worse about it. Forever ended up becoming toxic and doing toxic/shitty/obsessive things in turn as a by product. I wont say Brunim was the only one who had issues and did bad things but Forever only ended up becoming like that becuase Brunim taught him that's how he showed love in their relationship, so he showed it that way back ya know?

But thing is they stopped being happy, stopped awhile ago in fact and realized they couldn't keep doing this to each other, hurting each other, for both their sakes. Its hard to recognize you are doing something wrong, and it was even harder to let go, for real this final time, and only through help did they manage it but they did.

But the thing is, Brunim was Forever's first real relationship, and it had messed him up. Untangling yourself from that sort of thing is fucking hard, knowing where the line is or where something is toxic and unhealthy romantic wise (or even in general) is even harder when its pretty much your only real frame of reference and unlearning all that shit is hard and takes time too.

So when Forever got to the island, while he's made leaps and bounds from where he use to be, enough he can mess around and even joke with someone who reminds him of Brunim without actually having issues with it (at least at first lol), is still in the process of trying to unlearn his more unhealthy behaviors and expectations.

That's where some of his more concerning phrases or claims come from, either not knowing the line as he crosses it due to skewed misconceptions, saying it jokingly becuase he'd never actually go through with it (though probs shouldn't of said it regardless but hey that's coping with trauma for ya), or knowing the line but crossing it anyways on impulse and having to pull back becuase he doesn't mean it/regrets it. He would never on purpose dip back into those toxic behaviors but like I said, still unlearning and understanding those.

Forever would never actually go through with anything toxic, abusive, or unhealthy for the most part on purpose btw, if that wasn't clear.

There is a little bit, like mentioned in the main post, where when he does start to catch feelings it is becuase of him confusing Brunim with Phil, but Forever does beginning to actually fall for him and it takes a bit to fully separate them, and his expectations of it all. But hell he cant stop loving Phil even if he does eventually see Phil will not change his mind about Forever loving him.

But anyhoo enough about the main thing, smaller but still important stuff-

Like I said Brunim was Forever's first real relationship, and they did actually love each other under all the shit it became. Didn't mean any of what happened was okay tho.

Brunim is a vampire, and fed off regularly of Forever. He didn't have issues with it at first but quickly became painful and a bad time.

(tw for scars and a bit of gore) Forever actually has a horrific scar on his neck from the feedings, though its hard to tell if it becuase Brunim would very slightly shift around where he would bite in to feed over time so it became a mass of scar tissue, or if he ripped out a chunk of Forever's flesh for whatever reason. Forever usually keeps it covered but it burns sometimes.

Brunim's way of punishing Forever was usually to lock him up until he behaved again, specially if they were on "break" and Brunim wanted Forever back. Hence why Forever uttered "lock you up until love me." He wasn't serious about it but later feels sick he said it even jokingly.

Forever is surprisingly mentally stable despite all this and has worked hard on his mental health, thanks to therapy. Most of his issues, like I said, come from trying to unlearn all that toxic shit and unhealthy behaviors.

They really miss each other but tbh its more they miss what they had before, as well as the comfort in the not being alone despite the pain. Regardless Forever will never go back to Brunim, even if they both change for the better.

Mi papá, Henry. Who I had been looking for for years. He doesn't even really remember me in his canon there but he still claimed me as his kid gladly.

He took me in. I felt so fuckin lonely. I was coming from a situation where my life felt like it was falling appart- and yet... he made it all better.

For the first time I found someone who wasnt only my father from media but acted like an actual father. He was a real dad. He cared and he held me close when I cried and suffered the aftermaths of probably the worst months of my life.

He didnt have to. But he did. He even said a couple times he wanted to. He said he'd be there for me whenever I needed him. And I never understood how serious he was about that... I- I still dont, not fully..

But I know he means it. He's always been there for me no matter how fucked up I am. He's never turned me down for being "too much" for him.

And I wanna be there for him aswell. I hope I'm doing a good job <:]

Star's one of the best people I have in my life. I never wanna loose dust and I hope we stay together many many years more!!

FAITH: a specific timeline where you saved me.. I genuinly felt so physically sick and wasn't even sure how I was still even alive. But you took care of me. I remember weeping and letting out howls of pain. And you would feed me, somehow. Sit next to me despite how terrible I looked. I think once you could tell I felt ugly and scary after seeing myself in a mirror, cause soon after you offered to do my hair, brush it and put accessories on it, even got me a new dress... it made me feel like a normal real girl one more time. Some general courser headcanons

I really honestly think that them being elevated from regular synths is ridiculous. They're custom made out of FEV enhanced tissue and superior components. Picking the most "tenacious and independent" units is such a dumb idea. Tenacity and independence are warning signs that a synth may go rogue, not signs you should give them superstength and guns!

Note: synths being FEV enhanced is actually canon. Coursers being EXTRA FEV enhanced is, iirc, also canon. I didn't make that up. Check the wiki.

Also, this is just a general synth headcanon: the recall code doesn't wipe a synth's personality all by itself. Instead, it causes total loss of motor control, essentially trapping the synth inside their own head. When they go into the reclamation chair? They're still fully conscious...

The recall code can also be reversed by reading it back at them. They resume motor function as if nothing had happened. Institute scientists have noted some adverse symptoms (hyperventilating, increased heart rate, adrenaline spikes) to be common upon reversal. They assume this is a glitch, but have yet to find the source...

Everyone in the institute is afraid of coursers. Synths, humans, doesn't matter. They don't act like normal synths, or like normal people even. The way they walk, the way they look at you, the way they're just THERE where you weren't expecting them: coursers scare the shit out of people.

The only people in the institute NOT scared of them are in the SRB. Members of the SRB are in on a secret nobody else in the institute really understands: Coursers are actually more afraid of them.

All Coursers live in a state of fear. As the main instruments of the SRB, they know EXACTLY how thin a line they live on. Coursers are under more scrutiny than anyone else in the Institute, for obvious reasons. They know they're just one slip of the tongue away from being reset.

This is the reason for their jockeying for position and constant paranoid infighting. They're all trying to make themselves indispensable to the Institute so they can have even a tiny bit of a safety net in case someone decides something is off with them. The Institute also rotates underperforming Courser units out of action (recall codes them and puts them in stasis).

The Institute only has a few Coursers active at any one time. 12, 15, maybe 20 max. They have an equal amount in "storage" (recall coded) to replace losses and rotate underperforming units out of active duty.

Coursers are actually physically outmatched by Supermutants, by an order of magnitude. (Courser physical stats are in the high teens. Supermutant physical stats are in the high 20s). Their superior training and equipment usually means they come out on top. Usually.

The Institute could honestly make Coursers scarier if they wanted to. But the need for control outweighs any impulse in that direction. After all, if they were too powerful, what's stopping them from turning on the Institute?

This is the reason they immediately vivisect any and all Psyker Coursers; they have absolutely no understanding of how such powers might be counteracted, and thus cannot allow for the possibility of a Psyker Courser going rogue. Its only happened a handful of times, so they still haven't figured out how it works...

The first sign that there was something wrong with them was that they became highly agitated in the SRB.

(A lot of death or pain in one place leaves behind some truly rancid psychic vibes. Personality Death counts. To a psyker, the SRB is a horrible, horrible place...)

They didn't join the railroad, despite the offer, because they got the same feeling from the Memory Den. They told their contact they wanted no part of any of it, and bolted.

(It's a choice that the Railroad presents to the synths they help, it really honestly is. But it's not much of one, now is it? And even if it is their choice, that doesn't make destroying your personality any less terrible...)

All they wanted to do was watch the sun set in peace. Just once. And the Institute couldn't even let them have that...

Chase still regrets not getting to them in time. But Y3 would have fucking hated the Island. They would have hated it so much.

(I wrote most of this on my new phone, where autocorrect doesn't work. So I'll take this chance to also remind people english is not my first language.)

Okay, didn't know that. But the whole idea was because I was interested in how an herbivore animal would resource to eat flesh specifically to eat their children.

I went to read about it right now and it happens due to something wrong with the babies (they're gonna die) or something wrong with the mom (shes gonna die and be unable to care for them or she lacks nutrients), so its something related to it being a last resource... oh well.

Anyways, here's the character (this is from 2 years ago, so it's traditional art, and i can't scan it, so I edited it instead :/)

He sometimes wears a mask to hide his mouth because it is full of sharp teeth. And idk if its visible in the picture, but he has some sort of thin shawl in his waist, which is the last thing his mom left behind. (BTW, I make all my male characters a bit androgynous/fem cause when i decided to learn how to draw guys I focused on what i wanted to look like and now i cant stop drawing them like this :/)

Anyways, his story is that he's part of a species of anthropomorphic rabbits (humans exist in this world too, I dont remember if i made other species canon, just rabbits plus an hare character), but a specific kind (visually based on angora rabbits) that lives isolated from human society.

Basically his mom ventured too far from her village and had to take shelter in the residence of a human. She gave birth there, the human touched the children at some point out of concern and... things happened and he only was capable of saving one.

What I came up with was that her kind got isolated from humans for a reason, in this case a curse, and that making contact with a human at that age is enough to mess the antro bunny up. He grew sharp teeth and basically can barely eat typical rabbit food, actually even preferring rabbit flesh (having in mind normal non-antro rabbits exist). He was raised by that same human. I don't remember what I came up in relation to that.

Also, there are other kinds of antro rabbits in this universe without this kind of problem.

Anyways, he goes on a search to find his mom again. However, the catch is that not even his mom nor any of his kind are aware of why they avoid humans, and his mom thought that the human had killed all her children (cause her clothes had blood in them) and that the trauma made her forget. So she's not even aware she ate her children.

It's kinda fucked, I'm noticing now that I'm writing this down.

Disclaimer: This is not my typical type of art. I sometimes draw non human characters, but I prefer to draw my characters looking relatively human. From the top of my head, this character, two moth related ones and one rat one are the only furry characters i created with a fully set design, out of my hundreds of human ones. So basically, dont expect this type of art much. (Or any art at all, I'm lazy and i dont post anything here 😓)

Fiery Opinions: Elyos Sillyos

Four Dragonstones but only two Dragon units

I finally crawled my way through the dlc after waiting for what felt like ages for the rest of it to release. It’s been so long in fact that I had to reread my initial ramble of the base game to put some thoughts together.

I had a couple restarts but only two full (currently on third) playthroughs of this game and I’ve found myself with more mixed thoughts than positive ones. In a weird way at that because the dlc isn’t bad per say but there’s subjective issues I had with how it works.

The first thing I’ll get out of the way is that I find it a bit frustrating due to lack of New Game +.

You see, I didn’t like the dlc for 3 Houses either but a plus of that dlc is that I only had to play it once. It’s story was (apparently) non-canon and okay at best but once you deal with that frustrating final chapter you dont have to worry about it anymore.

Any time you begin a new game plus on 3 houses you can march into the Abyss and recruit any dlc character you like. You can also use the Abyss’ facilities and even level it up, it’s fully open to you.

FE: Engage does not have this perk. It’s lack of new game plus means that you have to replay the DLC every time you do a file if you wish to make use of it’s five addition units.

I personally find that annoying because it defeats the point to a degree. I found the added paralogues more annoying than fun and, sure, you can joke that it’s a skill issue. The point is that I do not find it fun and I do not wish to redo it.

This becomes a problem because I rather liked the parallel Zephia (Zelestia) as well as the addition of actual dragon units.

It’s already ridiculous that the two dragon units in the base game can’t turn into an actual dragon without Tiki’s bracelet but now I have to play through something I find frustrating just to get two additional dragons.

Dragons that come with two stones each yet, even then, Alear can’t use those stones. As of writing this I have yet to check of Veyle can make use of those stones. I am hoping at least she can due to sharing the Fell Child/Dragon class with Nil and Rafal but I am skeptical.

As I’ve come to play through Fire Emblem I can understand the frustration of being handed a dragon lord only to be denied being a f*cking dragon. I actually made my run of Fates harder than necessary because I refused to be anything other than a dragon when playing Corrin since they’re the only lord that has had the option.

As for the twin dragon units that I do get I do like them. I really like their dragon designs but I do not see myself ever using them after this playthrough because I don’t find the Fell Xenologue worth the annoyance.

I may be more annoyed than I’d normally be about this but I can’t help but rant when my only method of turning three of my five dragon units into actual dragons is via dlc. (3 of the 5 units coming from said dlc)

As for the two additional classes added I have yet to use them much. Just one of those seals costs a hilarious 28k in the shop even with the Silver Card. I’m not even sure I’ll bother testing them out between that cost and the hours of dlc I have to play through just to unlock them.

But enough of that rant let’s talk story.

More simplicity but that pleases me

It’s a simpler story than I expected but I appreciate that. I enjoyed the base game greatly for it’s simple & flawed story and this continued that. I was even convinced that Nil may be the bad twin for a moment...I mean I expected one of them to be bad but they did at least fool me as to which one it would be.

Alear is summoned to another Elyos but one that’s in it’s final moments. It seems like a simple reverse world (to the point that even the world map is flipped) but things are more different than it seems.

The first obvious change is the alternative Alear. They noticeably have full blue hair and given Nil’s infatuation for that alternative Alear I would go as far as to suspect that this Alear was a true divine dragon. A real child of Lumera.

I only have context clues at best for this theory but it’s what I’m choosing to go with because the alternative would be Nil wanting to f*ck her own sibling. I made that ‘greek gods incest’ joke when I did the Fates post but that’s still a step too far for me....despite the series’ tendency to add questionable love options.

Other stark changes I noticed was that alternative Sombron’s children are always born in twin pairs. He makes it so that one twin always kills the other as per his comically evil archetype but it’s something key to the story.

The Veyle of this world seemingly died in the war as well among many others such as Lumera. There’s some more typical stuff you’d also expect like the cast having flipped personalities but you see so little of them that it is of little note to me personally.

I do think this was intentional though. The dlc is short anyway so rather than focus on a “evil” cast they focused more on the new twin dragons Nil & Nel and reversed Hounds.

Oddly the Mauvier of this world is the same as the other but what stood out to me was the other three Hounds. They get enough attention that you’ll actually come to like them. Personally I liked Zelestia the most to the point I replayed it just to get those supports.

It wasn’t much but it was still a pleasant surprise to see a focus on more than just the two new shiny dragons. I honestly left the dlc indifferent to the dragon twins. They’re fun units to use because they can change into an actual dragon but I dont have strong feelings beyond that.

Daddy Issues

That’s not to say they didn’t get enough story themselves. These twins are at the root of the dlc and I was momentarily fooled by which one was bad. I just can’t really express thoughts deeper than this since I left the dlc more frustrated than happy.

I will say that Rafal left more of an impression on me than his sister solely because of one tangent he goes on. It’s made clear that Sombron cursed the dragonstone to some extent but rather than take that easy way out Rafal refuses to admit it was solely his fathers fault.

He accepted that he did the evil things and that he sought to be the Fell Heir. This stood out to me due to how easily things were forgiven or ignored in the base story just so a unit could be recruited to your army.

I do think that it’s brushed aside too quickly once he’s recruited in the main story but that Rafal is 1000yrs older and I’ve yet to see all his supports so I’ll leave it at that.

I’m sure some one who sees the previous post would expect more on the personality reversed main cast but I sadly can’t come to care for them. All of the story goes to the Four Winds and the twins.

I will admit that alternative Celine is hilariously pro war and I do find the state of this world intriguing due to it’s dead nature. Make no mistake, there is no alternative Elyos to save.

It also seems that Elyos as a world needs it’s divine dragons to thrive. I say this because the alternative Alear died when they killed Sombron yet the world wilts to nothing anyway.

And I know that Rafal is the one that turned the royals and many (if not all) citizens and soldiers into corrupted but he alone wouldn’t cause the land itself to wilt away. He doesn’t even have a dragon form nor that level of power until he gets the bracelets in chapter 6.

OH! Wait let’s talk about the Bracelet Emblems a bit.

An explanation I didn’t expect

At first I was a bit disappointed that the bracelet emblems didn’t speak in the Xenologues. They get a few words out but Nel’s goal is to put them to sleep. Our Alear seemingly lacks the power to revive them in Elyos Alter and Nel, as a fell dragon, can only put them to rest.

Nil/Rafal has the power to awaken them but they only appear as fell emblems and thus do not emote. At first this feels like a missed opportunity but I chalked it up to time & money shortage. (gotta pay for those voices)

But it was half way through that I realized something; the bracelets being put to sleep explains their presence in the main story.

In the base story you just randomly find Edelgards bracelet on the Somniel but now it makes sense as to how it got there. The twins and Winds aren’t the only ones who came to your Elyos as these bracelets also found their way there.

There’s no telling for how long they were in our Elyos due to the time difference of the parallel worlds nor do they acknowledge the other world but they will reference the dlc story in supports with someone like Rafal or Nil.

It wasn’t much but it was a neat little thing for me.

Conclusions

I think I’ll end it here since I feel like I’m stretching to even get this far. I ultimately liked the Four Winds and the little world building stuff I noticed but I’m not sure how strongly I’d pitch the dlc as “must buy”.

It’s a pain to replay it every time to get your new units and more than one person has pointed out how the DLC emblems can break the game. They can even break the story if you’re wearing one in moments like Chapter 11 or 22.

Why? Because those are key story moments when the intent can be undercut. You lack emblems in those moments due to story reasons...unless you’re using a bracelet. It wont mean much to some but it will mean more to others.

I will say that I think FE: Engage is perfectly fine if you avoid the DLC so buy at your own discretion. Bye now~

Angel (An-HEEL) Quixano is an ex-marine turned SOU. He's known for being energetic, happy-go-lucky, and his potential for unfathomable violence. Angel is the spark that keeps his squad alive and well; even if they don't truly appreciate it yet.

simple. they're all part of the B.S.A.A! the first time piers ever saw angel was when he crashed out about his squad never seeing Shrek. chris heard about angel's specific group. they were the worst of the best, which is still commendable.

at first, neither of them thought very high about angel. mostly because he was part of the literal F team. then they saw him during sparring.

it was piers and angel. literally everyone was expecting piers to win. angel was a scrawny little greenhorn. an important fact; which they forgot, was angel used to be a marine. the spaniard was used to fighting tooth and nail. piers had him in a nigh inescapable pin. that's when angel bit piers on the arm. piers immediately got off of angel to massage the bite mark. the most terrifying part? how controlled the bite was. angel bit him just hard enough to get the other man off him, but not hard enough to penetrate the skin.

“ C'mon!! How do you expect to fend off a B.O.W's bite if your defense against my human tooth is naught? ’ the spaniard quipped, winking to his staggered opponent. in his defense, the B.O.W.s did bite

it was actually chris! he wanted to know more about angel after the bite of '12. he talked to cpt. beatty, angel's superior. beatty had nothing nice to say about the boy. angel was naïve, impulsive, reckless, and immature. he told chris that the boy was a former marine. beatty complained about his squad nearly every day. they were all incompetent in their own right. chris wanted to know what angel's specific brand of incompetence was.

angel did not disappoint. he spoke weirdly, he walked wrong, and he never seemed fully there. chris could see a spark in the boy's eye. but it wasn't the one he expected. angel was just as aware of his situation as anyone. he knew the glint of enthusiasm from a rookie. angel had no such glint.

chris knew the ex-marine wasn't stupid. he approached angel after dinner. that's when chris understood what he saw.

" ballsy move you pulled on nivans, huh." chris huffed and sat down across from the kid. angel didn't look up from his... crayon drawing? did one of the crayons have a bite taken out of it??

angel responded without looking up, "are you here to discipline me? they said they'd excuse it since twas not a puncture wound. " he huffed, "an insult to mine dental hygiene!"

the captain shook his head. he tried to get a closer look at angel. his auburn hair was spiky and held up with product. he wore his dog tag around his neck. he bounced his legs against the back of his chair. everything about him felt off. chris could tell that wasn't the "real" angel.

"i want you to look me in the eyes, quixano. i'm asking as myself, not your superior."

the agent looked up. chris began to understand who angel truly was.

there wasn't a glint of light or spark of electricity in the boy's eyes. no. the deep mahogany irises held a fire inside. angels disguised their true forms to keep mortals safe. angel disguised his true form to keep everyone sane. the soldier held a neutral expression as chris stared him down.

angel was never stupid or naïve. that's what everyone thought of him. it was all an act to entertain his comrades. both chris and piers understood the things he saw. they gained a newfound respect for him, and some of the Foxtrot members by proxy.

angel was a cavalier at heart—a knight. his persona was smoke from a fire that refused to die. angel's dreams served as the coals. he had been doused by reality time and time again; and yet his fire continued to burn.

" cant say i get it, but i kinda see where you're coming from '

it would be piers for chris first. they survived through hell together and got out alive. that basically makes them married.

as for angel, it would be him confessing to both of them at the same time. angel just survived being stranded at sea with his squad. he has two of his friends' badges in hand. he doesn't know how to thank the two of them for getting him home. he collapses into both of them and lets himself cry.

I've finished Dragon Age Veilguard and I have thoughts 🙋‍♂️ (Expect some spoilers)

First thing first; I'm one of those Dragon Age Origins enjoyer, I still think DA:O was THE peak- it might be the nostalgia, it might be because it was my first step in Thedas, but Veilguard did not top it for me. WITH THAT SAID THO -

I had an amazing time with it! I did not 100% complete it, and it took me 87hours to finish

Veilguard felt, to me, like a direct successor of DA2 in both gameplay and "spirit"

The gameplay took me some time to get used to, but it was really fun; it has some flaws, the combat is really dynamic but then you'd get hit and need to press dodge to get back on your feet and it kills the rythm a bit (might be a me/skill issue deadass)

The visuals grew on me, I was a bit taken aback from the cartoonish style at first but I ended up loving it a LOT actually, its really charming. The characters are gorgeous, the environements breathtakin- Especially the lights, made me pause in awe a lot of time. AND THE HAIRS! I'm really curious to see how they're done ngl, I kinda wanna get my hands in the game's belly cause I'm curious 👀

The music was also amazing, I'm kind of mad at myself for not turning down the sound effects volume earlier cause I missed a tons of amazing tracks during combats and explorations, everything else was louder and I couldn't appreciate it correctly

As I mentioned in a previous post, this is the first Dragon Age game where I genuinely enjoy ALL of the companions; I have preferences of course, but every single one of them was interesting. I got invested in each storylines, shed tears alongside them, got surprised by some twist. The Veilguard is an amazing crew and def some of Bioware's best imo!

Now, I think my biggest issue with the game is the general Tone Everything is repeated and over-explained, to make sure the player knows what happens and what to do, not much is left for interpretation

It def feels like it's aimed at a younger audience, at a new generation of gamers; this is the same vibe I got from some trailers. It felt a bit Disney-ish? Less "mature", more goofy. Some moments and gags were straight out of a Looney tunes episode (like during one of Emmrich quest for example)

But I think it matches with Rook's personality well; I did not expect Rook to be this "chaotic gremlin" (affectionate) and I got really attached to mine! I'm glad I went with a Lord of Fortune Mage Elf combo, I think it fits the role perfectly (and I personally can't imagine playing anything else from now on).

I was reaaaally pleasantly surprised with the inclusivity! Did not expected to have this deep control over Rook's gender and how much it would be bought up in conversations. A lot of moments hit close to home and got me in my feelings, really appreciate what Bioware did with it - and I think they did a great job with Taash character and story on that front too.

When it comes to the main story: (heavy spoiler warning)

I'll always be bitter that Solas was gender-locked in Inquisition 😔 and for such a dumb reason too. It's obvious that Bioware has a clear canon state when it comes to Solas and his story with the Inquisitor, and I wish I could've experienced it "fully", if that makes sense- I still love the character; my Inquisitor felt betrayed at the end of Trespasser and choose to Stop Solas whatever it takes, I still really like their past friendship and connection, but I wish it could've been more than that - and I would've 100% romanced Solas if given the opportunity in Inquisition.

Everything in DA:V happens reaaaally fast, you dont have time to digest what you just learn that you already have some new info to swallow; you get 50 whiplash in a row and it can be confusing to keep track of everything (again, might be a skill issue on my part lmao)

With the amount of informations we got and with how good the characters were, I actually wish the rythm was a bit similar to Inquisition? Slow passed, with "down time" to digest

I'm also disapointed in the lack of consequences from past games, and there's a lot of missed opportunities. I know they couldn't possibly fit every single choices, but only 3 felt a bit ridiculous

What about Sandal? With everything we learned with Harding and the Titans. Where was Zevran? Nowhere to be seen in Antiva, his home- No words at all from the Divine, or from Ferelden's royalty, whoever it might be? (Again, I did not 100% the game so I mightve missed codex entries)

I'd even go as far as to say that, I think Veilguard plays better for someone who's entierly new to the DA universe. There isn't any expectation and disapointement that takes away from the excitement of experiencing a new game

One such moment that did not hit me because of expectation was the Antaam plot in Trevisio, when the "secret rendez-vous" person turns out to be the Butcher - With how secretive everything was, I was expecting Zevran to make an apparition.

I can't help but also think about the players who romanced Morrigan with their grey warden, or who romanced Isabella during DA2; both characters seems to have completly moved on (which is totally ok and realistic even, it can happen. But this wasn't a narrative choice)

I'd have some nitpicking to do about things I've noticed while playing; some of the animations are wonky, Rook doesn't have any "falling" loop and they just slide using their idle. The walking cycle can look extremly goofy on some NPCs, it looks ok on dwarves cause they're small and walk faster, but some humans I've seen looked really off and laughable

The re-use of a lot of assets from Inquisition can be comforting and it did put a smile on my face to hear familiar bard balads in taverns, to see the same statues assets in some cities, the same art being framed and hanged on the walls; but it also reminds me that the game got scrapped again and again

You can also tell the game was supposed to be multiplayer; the chest looting system, the finish moves and general gameplay really feels "shoot and loot" a bit similar to Borderlands? I never played Anthem but I'm guessing they took some inspiration from it as well

Overall I had a really great experience, and every bit of critism doesn't take away the fact that I love that game a lot 🤏

If I had to rank it on a podium... It'd be second for me, with DA:O on top and DA:I behind it, keeping DA2 last

I'll def replay it in the future, and I'm excited to see what (IF) Bioware does in the future with this Universe 😭 and if this was the last Dragon Age game, this was a really nice finale 🙏

Okay so I have just finished reading the last chapter that u just uploaded and if u dont mind im gonna rant about It .

First of all Remus and Sirius being paired Up was soo unexpected but im totally here for It . And the pure silence is seriously making me suffer I totally understand why Sirius was being dramatic cause i cant handle awkward silence , It will be the death of me i swear.

Secondly I loved the dorcas and Sirius interactions , well the whole slytherin skittles dynamic tbh .

And the way that Sirius and James hate each other more than Remus and Sirius ...

Thats soo weird and different but for some reason I really like It and am pretty interested in seeing more interactions between them .

thanks for reading dearest!!!!! i do not mind at ALL nothing is more fun than ppl talking to me abt my own self-induced brainrot, so rant away (as i’m now going to)!!!!!

it’s shocking to me it was a surprising turn of events. but then again it was one of the first things i KNEW was going to happen in this fic when i came up with the idea over two months ago, so it’s been rattling around my brain for a while. a lot of this fic is going to be based around those prefect rounds, which i am so thrilled to have play out.

and YES, the awkward looks and silences are everything to me!!! for me high school drama was a lot of just,,, i don’t want to talk to you,,, so i’m gonna sit here in bitter silence,,,, and it will be so fuckin weird,,,, and i love forcing that onto sirius and rem (and all of you) bc ugh. it truly is PAINFUL.

cas and sirius have become one of my favourite dynamics so unexpectedly, but i actually adore them with my whole soul - writing them is so easy and fun.

same with all our skittles. rejoining the marauders fandom after years of absence as i did, the concept of the skittles is something i’ve been discovering slowly (as it fully was not around when i was) and i was in no way expecting to write something so them-centric, but i’m enjoying how my characterisations are turning out (even if they’re a bit different from fanon)!!!!

good god i have so much to say abt sirius, james and remus in this fic. at the end of the day i’m going for this kind of mirror to fanon/canon where sirius and james are THE relationship (obvs they hate each other rn, but it is still a defining duo) and remus feels kind of on the outs as a result, seeing himself as something seperate and perhaps less of a priority as a result.

i could write a whole character study on james just for this fic. one of my main writing considerations is a sirius without a james who has shown him unconditional love. sirius in gryffindor is so different bc of JAMES, the first person to love him so overtly. when he doesn’t have that (even in his skittles in this fic, not in a way that isn’t attached to his family identity (at least in his own mind)), where does that leave sirius? bc then it also means, how do james and sirius develop a relationship when it doesn’t start with a foundation of ‘i chose you as my best mate in yr 1’, yk??? they hate each other already, where do they go from there in the future??? just. ugh. platonic prongsfoot. kills me every fucking time.

considerably long sleep deprived blog management ramblings (+ question that i would appreciate input on) below the cut. apologies if i sound a little insane ive been up for almost 24 hours because my brain is going too fast to let me sleep (the downsides of being autistic and fixating on your own fucking five nights at freddys roleplay blog)

ive been trying to keep this blog mainly canon characters bc thats just. easier overall (dont have to explain every little thing abt them) but like. hhhfgh. i love the character dynamics the muses that i have offer me but like. they have very very concrete roles in the story. they have their Places.

now, i very much enjoy these roles. i enjoy playing them, i enjoy planning things to do with them and developing on them and i very much enjoy the way the people i play them WITH add to the dynamics on their end and add their own insight on my characters as my interpretations are not fully formed and likely never will be. yall r great im so happy to have found you guys.

but also. i have a very specific set of characters. other than the animatronics, i have the afton boys, cassie, and jeremy fitzgerald. and this specific set of characters are all very restrictive in a very specific way.

michael is. the human punching bag. this blog has just turned into me bullying him and like. not that im complaining, i just wasnt expecting the muse for him to hit me that hard. he has taken over this blog and that was not what i had planned. the thing with him is: nine times out of ten, when he is interacting with someone else, he is not a participant in a conversation. he is a target. that is just due to the nature of how his life is. he is the protagonist of a franchise of survival horror games. other than a few select family members and maybe like. henry, charlie, and jeremy, he doesnt have positive relationships with anyone. which means he is a GREAT source of angst or conflict, which i love to write, but it also means he doesnt provide many other forms of interaction. he may have a few soft moments here and there, with his mother or with henry, taking care of him and giving him reprieve from his father, but... thats about It. unless he finds some new friends, he doesnt do lighthearted, funny social interactions, and i highly doubt my michael will find any romantic partners for a long time. he is great at what he does. i just need to find balance between him and my other muses because i dont want my blog to be me just beating this poor guy up 24/7. thats just cruel.

evan - only really knows his parents, siblings, and maybe charlie. hes a baby. probably wasnt any older than five or sixish when the bite happened. very very good for soft, comforting moments. unfortunately , incredibly limited in who he could reasonably interact with. i mean, feel free to prove me wrong, but im coming up with a blank here.

cassie - also a child. would be good for more psychological horror type threads like how ruin was, but i do not feel comfortable putting her in real physical danger. mainly, just like evan, she is a muse i want to keep safe and comfortable, no matter how much it disregards canon. i am very very touchy around my younger child muses, for obvious reasons. yes, i am aware this is the Child Murder Franchise. no, i am not going to let you Child Murder my fucking elementary schoolers. full stop. also, moving on from that, likely wont get much interaction outside of security breach muses or muses with sb verses. once again, constricting.

and then theres jeremy. lets be real here. he has no canon connections to anyone. hes the only one with any actual connection to the fnaf 2 location, and thats just about all we know about him. obviously, hes basically an oc already. my jeremy is close to michaels age, so hes not gonna be involved with just about anyone else - hes just fucking here, basically. just SITTING here. hes my favorite child i wanna play him so bad im here waving him frantically at passersby hoping for interaction but its no use because theres nothing to work off of to START interactions. that is nobodys fault but mine. my dumb ass got attached to Background Character #43 and now i cant let him go. hes the abandoned doll collecting dust on the corner of the shelf because nobody plays with him. he barely exists.

BASICALLY, all of that mess was to say that i need to diversify my roster - i need a muse that i can throw at whoever i want. no pre-existing canon connections to anyone to complicate things, no timeline constraints until we possibly build one of our own, just, fucking. Miscellaneous Fazbear Entertainment Employee #4067 that i can put in Situations.

if i actually went through with making a fnaf muse like that, would anyone be interested in interacting with him or would i just be making a guy in my brain and then putting him on the shelf next to jeremy?? genuine question please help.

yet another one i think about a lot. if you asked me this question a year ago, i would have done it in a heartbeat, because back in my sophomore year of high school (coming back from quarantine) i developed really bad anxiety and coped by essentially shutting everything and everyone out. and after i came out of that experience i was so ashamed and embarrassed for so long that it left me sitting for hours in my room stewing in a sea of dread so thick that i could hardly swim. though now that i'm several years removed from that point in my life, i don't think i would go back in time. because even though i still wish i did things differently back then, i don't see it as a point of shame anymore, but rather just a thing that happened. a thing that i learned from. a thing that helped me grow.

my favorite color has been purple ever since i was a little kid! though as i've grown up i've really come to love green as well :D

i always have SUCH a hard time answering this question, so i'm gonna give a couple answers. for the first one i need to provide some context: a family friend of mine was born and raised in japan, and every couple of months she spends an entire day making authentic gyoza (think: potstickers) from scratch, and then invites my family over. and ohohoho, let me tell you, my entire family is in the car ready to go IMMEDIATELY when we get invited to those dinner parties. she is genuinely so talented and they turn out absolutely divine every time. genuinely a religious experience eating those

and another one of my favorite foods has gotta be acai bowls (i cant do the accent thingy i'm typing on my laptop rn i'm so sorry). i just discovered the magic and wonder of a fully-loaded, banger-ass acai bowl two months ago when i went on vacation. my family all went to the beach together and after a while we decided to head back to our hotel, and on the way there we happened upon a tiny little stand restaurant that sold wraps and salads and stuff that had the ingredients gathered from the farm down the street. so i got a wrap (and damn, that wrap was good, but that's not the point here). after i finished my wrap my mom went back and bought one of the acai bowls they had. not expecting anything special, i took a bite. and holy. fucking. shit. in that moment i ascended and knew that i had been blessed by apollo himself. that was a defining moment in my life. a core memory. a canon event, if you will. ever since then i have never hesitated to grab a nice cold acai bowl and load it up with granola, coconut flakes, chocolate chips, fresh fruit, dried goji berries and honey. it's so good. holy shit you have to try it.

oh and i like pasta too

69. Do you believe in soulmates?

i think i do. i used to think about soulmates a lot actually, and imagined that whenever i was staring up at the moon outside my bedroom window every night and wondering who my soulmate was the guy of my dreams would be doing the same thing wherever he was. but since then i've come to the realization that i'm not straight, and somewhere along the line i guess i just stopped imagining the soulmate scenario. i've never been in a relationship before, or even come close to being in one. but i'm moving to a new city next month, living on my own for the first time. maybe i'll finally find them there. fingers crossed

70. Is there anyone you would die for?

my little brother and sister, without hesitation. they're annoying, they piss me off constantly, and there's never a moment where we aren't arguing about something--but they're both genuinely two of my best friends. they're both several years younger than me, so i have seen the entirety of their lives. i've watched them grow up and seen them reach milestones that i remember reaching myself. i remember the little chubby-cheeked nugget phase that only exists in old photographs, and i remember the gradual change that brought them to where they are now: teenagers, learning more and more about themselves and the things they love. my little sister who grew up enraptured by frozen now loves my hero academia and has just started reading fanfiction, and i'm there to listen to her ramble about her favorite ones. my little brother who used to lie on the floor playing with hotwheels all day is now DMing his very own DND campaign in a sprawling universe that his friends built slowly over the course of three years. they've both come so far and i can't even begin to express how proud i am of them. i would genuinely take a bullet for them. but don't tell them i said any of this or else they will tease me to the ends of the earth.

As for the au, well I was going to say I don;t have much to say but then I did so putting everything after this first paragraph under a cut. It’s one of my “I like Muse a lot and want to think about her in the context of canon events, what wild reasons can I come up with for her to be around?” ideas. Basically everything happens up to Leif getting trapped in snakemouth, and then also all the major world events leading up to the start of canon, expect with a much shorter time in between.

So for Leif, on one hand the world has still radically changed and a bunch of time has passed. But also now Muse (and his parents probably) is still alive, which especially with me usually thinking of this in iterations where they still have a child, creates a very different dynamic in Leif’s storyline.

But mostly I’ve been thinking about this from a Muse-centric lens. And having come out of snakemouth wounded and losing Leif (and I think one of the main reasons she doesn’t try and go back in this is that she finds out about the baby like right after), that super demotes her ability to support the quest for the artifacts. I think Elizant I, while certainly making efforts to find the Sapling, did not throw nearly as many bugs and resources at it. But when Elizant II succeeds her (not that many years later here) and founds the association and opens up sending people to snakemouth again, Muse is unhappy with that decision, to put it lightly.

And because this is Muse, she’s not going to be quiet about it. I envision her as either part of the underground tavern’s “against the queen” division but more....more about it (I don’t know how to phrase it exactly but you know how in canon it’s basically just doppel “planning a peaceful protest“? Muse isn’t exactly attacking anyone and that hard on the other side of the spectrum but she’s louder and stronger than that), or she was like that but was enough of a threat or annoyance or something to Elizant II that she exiled her. So in the first scenario I think Team Snakemouth runs into her coincidentally by accident when they first go in the Tavern (and also it turns out she and Vi had seen each other there at least once before canon), and in the second it kind of depends on where she goes. My main one is that she ends up with the bandits not fully part of their crew just kind of there. (and I think she and Astotheles would have a funny dynamic where they have an understanding but don’t really “get along”. like two cats.) And she doesn’t know about Leif specifically but has about the team in general and when the bandits capture them (possibly earlier on idk) she calls dibs on talking to them before anything else. Which either results in her being there when they first wake up and realizing Leif is there, or they break out before she can get there and she’s there when they go confront Astotheles. Also there’s a version where she leaves and goes through the forsaken lands and ends up among “the fabled tribes lurking underground” aka hollow knight but while there’s a lot of crossover in people who like that game too idk about you so I’ll save that space for now (also I actually don’t have much on that)

But yeah since Muse is not happy about the explorer thing she does not exactly get along with them. She’s not giving them trouble personally but most of them are at least aware of who she is and wary of her. But Stratos and Delilah she can at least get behind because they 1) act as a scout team like she used to be on (and irrelevant detail but I would be incorporating the idea I saw from someone else that Rebecca was their third party member because hell yeah) and she can relate to that. Possibly she knew them even before the explorer program started and was semi-influential in their training or something. 2) they explicitly do not fuck around with getting into the actual dangerous stuff. 3) even if they decided to, since they’re outrageously tough and competent they’re the most likely bugs to come out of it fine anyway

(ok other gametext sidenote: if you play with the ruigee file code and get all the ranks from Eetl, he says that “Only Maki's team has reached [max rank] before…” Which in my completely based on nothing but opinion and not looking at the actual numbers or anything, seems odd given what fighting delilah and stratos is like. like I suppose you could argue that since they don’t actually fight they don’t technically have the xp to be that high a rank and also it’s just a throwaway line but whatever)

I could probably say more but at this point there’s like a billion directions it could branch off into and some things where it’s just impressions and this isn’t one of my things where I’ve written much down before so I’ll stop there unless/until there’s any questions/interest in whatever about it
