gear station

funny story: while trying to figure out certain elements (mostly the style of the pillars + the window panels), i searched up references of grand central and (old) penn station as the listed design bases for gear station, and oh gods it's beautiful look at the arches the vaults the light shining through the huge windows the scale -

needless to say, i got verrrry sidetracked. the architecture brainrot is real. (i almost want to write up a design analysis of gear station and the inspiration it takes from the aforementioned two IRL stations, but i'm still a novice and so any analysis would probably be very surface-level stuff.)

This is on the spur of the moment sort of project, but because I did order the Wally Darling Plush, I decided to make him Home to go with Barnaby :') Now, Home isn't going to be a plush, instead, I'm gonna make Home into a board game of sorts. I've been wanting to make a board game for some time now, especially the ancient board games, but I think this is a great start towards that path X3

i don't know if fishman island era sanji is genuine flanderization or im somehow giving him too much and too little credit at the same time. and maybe i was just frustrated that he regressed so bad after two years on Gender Island when i erroneously assumed (after watching iva + co at impel down express that queerness is as close to the ultimate ideal of freedom that one piece is about as you can get) that he would be better for the experience. and i know im going to turn around on him by the time i get to whole cake island but literally brother can we cut this shit out lmao

Since I pretty much tore the headcrab zombie mask down to just the base yesterday, I'm trying to figure out the best angle & pose for the new rigid forelimbs. I want them to look like they're jabbing into the host's chest while at rest and in an aggressive threat display when raised. I think I finally got it looking about how I want it, at least from the side profile-
