House MD is such an unserious show. The CIA recruits him for an episode to diagnose one of their agents. He gets shot in an episode and nearly dies and they just never talk about it again. He raps with Lin Manuel Miranda. He hires a private eye, who then starts dating the Dean of Medicine at the hospital. I'm pretty sure he takes some hallucinogenic drug to access his memories to help diagnose someone.

Spectacular, I'll watch all 8 seasons. It never jumps the shark because it's constantly jumping the shark.

If you haven't seen Resident Alien yet, really you should. It's awesome!

If you haven't seen it (seriously?! watch it!!!!) Harry is an alien who has been living with humans for long enough he's got FEELINGS now but he's still mostly alien and is kind of a dick, which I love.

They're on the snow-covered mountain, where nobody else can get cell reception, and Harry pulls out his cell phone to make a call.

D'arcy: You have reception here?

Asta: How?

Harry: It’s very easy. You just go into settings. It will prompt you "would you like to harness the mountain to use as your own personal cell tower because you’re a brilliant alien?” and you just push “yes.”
