If Mike had the same focus on his mental health as part of his character arc in season 4 like Max did, he wouldn’t be as a disliked character by the general audience as he currently is.

I’m being serious.

Their behaviors throughout season 4 are similar enough to draw parallels between them.

They both treat Lucas like crap in less than ideal terms.

They both get their declining academic performance pointed out by another character.

They are both hiding things from people, and being open and honest about it could help them but they won’t do it.

They both mistreat and push away someone they love.

They both lack self-preservation, which leads them to have suicidal tendencies and put their lives at risk.

The show even makes a point of putting Mike next to Max in two of the symptoms mentioned in the Vecna’s curse.

The only difference is that Max’s character has a huge focus this season, and most of it is centers on her deteriorating mental state. On the other hand, the only time Mike gets a chance to explicitly and verbally acknowledge that he is struggling with something, he admonishes himself for caring about something so irrelevant considering the ongoing situation, and the scene shifts to be about Will and his disguised confession through the painting.

So, with all being said... what could this possibly mean for Mike in season 5? Well, Ms. Kelly said it best:

The limited character class selection is probably the weakest part of Rogue Trader as a party based RPG.

Of the party members you get in a typical run, there are 3 Warriors, 3 Operatives, 2 Soldiers, and 2 Officers. One of the recruitable Soldiers is locked into Arch-militant, and one of the recruitable Warriors is locked to Assassin.

Assuming you choose different tier 2 archetypes for each character, it's not possible to not have any party overlap.

Girl it has been SOOOOOO long that I don't remember much from animal jam! But I do remember buying fox hats.

For some reason the thing that sticks out to me the most is trying to break the ice on the arctic level. I don't think it was actually a thing but I did organize like 30 people to do the jump emote on the ice. It cracks but doesn't break!

what youre talking about had 3 variants too. the ice on mount shiveer the bridge in coral canyon (?) the the broken statue thing near/in the temple of zios. there was also one with the phantoms i think but i cant remember when or where that was. that was aj's version of tip the iceberg except ours never worked JKHDJKGAGGJ

favorite trope is someone trying to do some sort of heroic self-sacrifice-y thing and someone else (or the whole group) is jsut like "NOPE, nope, not happening, no, have a nice day." and effectively ends it.

i think it's great when someone tries to pull off a tragic self-sacrifice in a story and there's at least one guy who's just like "no this is fucking stupid actually. you're an idiot." about it. because it kind of is. i love a good tragedy but let's be honest with ourselves if a friend tried to indulge a noble sacrifice fantasy would you not be a little annoyed. like come on man.

Why would I draw or further flesh out the other members of Chou's party when I can instead think abt how all of them play in game and spiral out into making up a shit ton of other game mechanics that do not matter to the actual story
