#yugioh series #yugioh gx #pics #screencaps #judai yuki #part 6 of reposting things that never made it to tags because tumblr #161-167 might just be my favorite stretch of episodes in the entire series #now that i'm experiencing gx properly subbed and with more life experience than i had in 2008 #my rediscovery of gx happened during one of the worst periods of my life #and seeing judai start to heal over those seven episodes meant something to me #hell it means something to me now #a reminder that things can get better #it's probably projecting but his pose in 167 says to me that he isn't totally okay yet #but he's still willing to come out and participate #where he had to be dragged out before #he's not all the way there yet but someday he might be #and in the meantime he's got it in him to wink and throw a thumbs up for the album #take a moment to engage with his friend behind the camera #instead of pulling away #as someone dealing with The Brainworms that can be a big difference #and i'm actively trying to get back to that stage #whoops tag essay

Just listened to "Hats off to (Roy) Harper" for the first time in a million years, I guess because I'm a masochist or something or maybe needed to remind myself of just what makes me dislike the song so much and...I think it's really a shame, because the guitar work is compelling, I absolutely love whatever distortion effect they have going on with the vocals, and I enjoy the blues structure of the lyrics, it's just...the lyrics themselves are yikes, not to mention that God awful and completely unnecessary jumpscare that is the intro...ugh, yup. Thanks again, I still hate it.

#society if i was a vinyl collector #ig i could be i have vinyl player but no place to have it like.... set up all the time #i just looked into it again and no ones posted my favorite emma ruth rundle cd for sale but my second favorite is a THIRTY FIVE DOLLAR CD.#USED #A USED CD #meanwhile i can buy a vinyl of my fave album for the same price tag new from her store this moment #the only other cds of hers for sale rn are her metal collab album and her newest two in her store 😭#im also looking at biting the bullet to buy a $25 cd of nico vegas bc uh. they dont make cds at all anymore and theyre just gonna get rarer #and yeah yeah i could learn to burn cds and diy it w bandcamp purchases BUT #i like the printed cds i like the cases i like the booklets #“just get into vinyls” i hear u but i have. like 50 cds. i only have 3 vinyls and only one is good #and i dont like how some songs sound on vinyl idk #tbh emma would probably sound really good on it but thats NOT the point bc i cant play vinyl in my car!#anyways. ten dollar copy of marked for death by emma ruth rundle popping up second hand when 🥺#my post
