healthy disagreement tip by crowley
[Hello, it's the good omens mascot here, for legal purposes can I please state here that I do love Aziraphale as a character it's simply that this post is about Crowley so no one eat me, okay? It's been a week since I finished GO, I'm not stable enough for discourse]
I noticed that Crowley doesn't ever insult Aziraphale as a person. (Have I missed anything?) Even when they're fighting, Crowley is careful to disagree with decisions that Aziraphale is making, views that Aziraphale may have, but he never implies that Aziraphale is in any way lacking as a person.
The only instance when he ever seems to insult Aziraphale is when the angel refuses to come with him to Alpha Centauri after Crowley drives up to him and apologises. He asks how Aziraphale can be so stupid.
But he says it in such a way that it's very clear he isn't calling Aziraphale stupid, or that he even remotely thinks that about him. He's calling Aziraphale's decision stupid. And he makes sure there's no misunderstanding about this.
In the middle of this disagreement, before he says anything about stupidity, he first tells Aziraphale he's clever. With the endearment added. And he's being entirely sincere about it.
You're so clever, angel.
But he doesn't stop there. He says it again.
How can someone as clever as you--
and only then does he talk about the decision
--be so stupid?
And to me that's just. That's such healthy behaviour? Obviously both of these idiots are constantly shit at communication, but Crowley is very, very clear about this. His 'insults' to Aziraphale are always thinly veiled compliments about how he's all good and has the moral high ground, and during their fights, Crowley still never puts Aziraphale down.
The world is about to end, the timer is ticking, Crowley is scared and frustrated and they've had a massive fight where Aziraphale insisted that they're not friends and there was no our side, and Crowley is stretched to his limit with stress.
I'm sure a lot of us would say things we didn't mean in those circumstances. Even in casual situations, we say things like don't be stupid or why are you being an idiot, and that's mostly okay, if everyone knows that it's not meant seriously.
Aziraphale does that, he says things like you're the bad guys and we're not friends, banking on the knowledge that Crowley will not be hurt and will understand why.
But Crowley, even under that high stress situation, a fight with everything at stake, doesn't call Aziraphale stupid, even though no one would have thought twice about it. It's a manner of speaking, Aziraphale would know what he meant, etc. He still doesn't do it.
He takes the time to remind Aziraphale twice that he is clever, so clever, and then begs him to realise that the decision is stupid. He's so careful, so respectful, even in the literal apocalypse.
During the final fifteen, too. He never implies that Aziraphale is of the same material as Heaven, or even that he would make a bad leader. Even before he says that he, Crowley, doesn't need Heaven, he first says You don't need them.
It's just something that would make a lot of inevitable fights in any kind of relationship so much healthier. To know that even though you are fighting, you are loved. Even though the other person disagrees with you, they respect and admire you as a person.
Not judging the person, as Heaven loves to do, but judging the decision or the view.

I'm doing nothing right now, and to kill time (because I can't write requests from here), I decided to bring up this TWST idea that's been plaguing my mind.
A Yuu who's a parent
And I'm not talking about a Yuu who's a teenage or young parent, no, I'm talking about an adult Yuu, of legal age, who has had a job for YEARS, EVEN HAVE MULTIPLE CHILDREN!!
Who had the bad luck of being run over by the black carriage while doing something mundane like taking out the trash or coming home from work😅
Can you imagine the characters' reactions to an adult man/woman appearing out of nowhere at the entrance ceremony? Not even a member of the staff, just a random human without magic who is suddenly surrounded by teenage boys (almost the same age as their children).
An adult Yuu can probably "make themself understood" better by Crowley than a minor Yuu, since they understand the gravity of the situation and their basic civil rights, especially how to negotiate. Of course, that doesn't mean the Ramshakle dorm room is spotless, but at least it's fixed faster than in canon.
OH GOD, GRIM! Part of me thinks Grim would have more patience/respect for an adult Yuu, and the other part knows that's a complete lie. Although at least Grim seems to have more trust in this new maternal/paternal figure in his life.
Did you see how Inosuke gets when Tanjiro is friendly to him? That's Grim every time YuuMom/Dad says something maternal/paternal to him or is friendly/patient with him.
Ace is still a little shit at first, obviously, but I think he softens quickly, just like in canon. DEUCE, on the other hand, is almost immediately bland. Yuu reminds him so much of his mother that it's not even funny. If you thought these two were protective of the normal Yuu, brace yourself. This is THEIR PARENT NOW, AND THEY'RE THE ONLY ONES WHO DISRESPECT THEM>:(
Their relationships with the other dorm leaders would be just as funny and/or cute.
Riddle DEFINITELY needs a Yuumom/Dad in his life the most. Even though their first interaction was probably fatal (no parent, ESPECIALLY a JAPANESE one, would put up with Riddle's tantrums), I can see Riddle being naturally drawn to them these days.
This kid needs a father/mother figure who makes him understand that making mistakes is a way of learning, and Yuumom/Dad help make learning fun! Just like the Robinson family.
I also get the feeling Riddle would like to know the basics of the original work/world of Yuu (especially if they work in a field like a doctor or lawyer) and it ends up being a two-way street, with Riddle learning about Yuu's world and them learning about Twisted Wonderland.
Leona, another who needs someone to recognize him as his own person and not as a hindrance or a lesser version of his brother. It's obviously one of the hardest to have a positive relationship, but not impossible. Especially after Book 3, where Leona sees Yuu in a more respectful light instead of annoying.
They do the typical things you'd think of as a parent-child relationship, like when Yuu does certain things like scold Leona for sleeping too much, skipping classes, and straightening his uniform—things Leona complains about but doesn't stop them. It's a rare kind of positive attention.
Or when Yuu congratulates him on something specific they NOTICED he's improved, when they let him wander around the ramshakle dorm, etc. Let's just say it's an unwritten rule in Savanaclaw not to mess with Yuumom/dad from now on.
Azul also has a certain trick. He probably had more trouble with an adult Yuu than a student due to, well, life's advantages (any adult knows that contracts made by minors aren't valid—) and ends up having a mixture of fear and respect for them.
Fortunately, there's also a certain soft spot for Yuu, especially because of his age and paternal/maternal attitude. they probably reminds him of his mom.
For that reason, it's not unusual for Yuu to end up going to the Monster Lounge from time to time just to catch up with Azul, make sure he's not doing anything suspicious, and get something to eat. The usual.
KALIM. LOVES. YUUMOM/DAD. Yuu can barely keep up with all his energy, but it's contagious.
Jamil will have to get Kalim to tone down the intensity a few notches for the sake of Yuu's blood pressure, especially if he wants to surprise them with a magic carpet ride. they liked it! they swears! Just let them know next time!
they are also a great source of comfort after Jamil's Overplot. Let's just say that with their help, Kalim is trying to learn a few things about social norms.
Have you seen that typical mom/dad style of dress? Mothers in plain/patterned blouses and fathers in knee-length pants? Yep, that's Yuumom/dad. And Vil won't STAND IT. Practically their first interaction is picking out a new wardrobe for them. IT BURNS HIS EYES--
Aside from that, I can see Vil being genuinely flustered when Yuu criticizes his behavior, whether out of habit or because, well, parents are good at making points (and knowing the entertainment industry, very few adults care THAT much).
There's also the fact that Yuu's compliments are painfully sweet and genuine, like that "you're such a handsome young man!" meme, and Vil can't help but feel more arrogant than usual when Yuu compliments him like that. Parental stuff.
Idia ironically has a good relationship (within reason) with his parents, but that doesn't mean he's scared of Yuu at first, precisely because there's nothing more terrifying than seeing them angry.
He's also bothered by Yuu trying to get him out of his room so often, or by joining Ortho in bringing him food that isn't fast food. Damn it, he gets it!
He's a huge tsundere, which is why he hasn't banned them from Ignihide after all.
Malleus is definitely the one who most relies on Yuumom/dad's positive attention. Not only does this human lack fear of him, but they treats him like a normal teenager, with normal problems, even going so far as to scold him when he deserves it. What does Yuu care if he's a prince? He speaks to people with respect!
Yuu has so much power that he can make Malleus apologize by sounding arrogant, stop him from electrocuting people, or make him think about his actions, all because Malleus would rather put aside his ego than think that his new friend/father/Mother figure is angry with him :(
Thanks to this, Malleus goes to the ramshakle dorm even more often than expected, whether it's to tell Yuu something new he learned about the school's gargoyles, ask for advice on how to make friends, etc.
I like to think that this Yuu is very homesick for being around the kids, especially if they have children at home waiting for them. Which probably does something unusual: it causes the principals to unite to pressure Crowley to return home as soon as possible.
They have grown attached to Yuumom/dad, yes, but the thought that Yuu's children don't have their parent, that they are waiting for their return, that they are suffering, twists their stomachs.
Until then, They'll be in charge of protecting Yuu as much as possible until they can return home to their family!
__________
KALIM. AMA. A. YUUMOM/DAD.

Hi! Could I please request something with Jade. Maybe angst/comfort and a bit suggestive. Imagine that the reader/yuu has found a way back home and starts kind of avoiding Jade due to not wanting to leave him but also not really feeling like fitting in in Twisted Wonderland. How would this play out, and how would Jade take action? Or if you've got your own plot or genre, that's fine too!
Thanks! Really liked your recent fic about Rook :)
Easy to Read
Jade Leech x gn!reader, established relationship
they/them pronouns, Jade calls the reader darling, angst/comfort, open ended
Word Count: 1882
The merform pulls are going SO GOOD Y'ALL. IM JUST SO PLEASED. IM NOT AT ALL UPSET OR TAKING IT OUT ON JADE IN THIS FIC. HA HA. HA HAHA. Anyways. I love getting a plot prompt, it's really hard to come up with ideas sometimes, so thank you! It's a little shorter than my other ones, but I do really like how it turned out, I hope y'all do too!

After so long, Crowley finally approached you with the news you'd been waiting for. He could send you home, as soon as you wanted. You heard the undertones in his voice that indicated he would prefer sooner rather than later, but with how many messes you'd cleaned up for him and the outrage it would inevitably spark from the many friends you'd made, he had no room to demand you leave that night.
You were pleased. You were supposed to be pleased. This is what you had wanted all along, right? To go home? This world was a place of magic so far removed from where you were born. You had no place in it, you didn't belong here.
These thoughts kept spiraling in your head from the second Crowley told you the news while you debated how you were supposed to tell your friends that you likely weren't ever going to see them again. How you were supposed to tell Jade... How were you supposed to tell Jade? He'd always been able to see straight through you, always able to tell when something was off and almost always able to fix it before you even said it out loud. How were you supposed to tell the one person who understood you so perfectly-- sometimes better than you knew yourself-- that you were leaving and probably never coming back? You weren't ready to face it yet. Despite the undertones, Crowley had given you time, and you were going to take as much of it as you could.
For the first few days, you tried to just play it cool and act normal, but Jade could tell something was off. He always could. You may as well have been an open book to him, all your problems laid out on the pages bolded and underlined. He knew there was something wrong, but for once, he couldn't figure out what it was. You could tell by the way he looked at you, the question behind his eyes as tried to look for the answers in yours. But you weren't ready yet. He watched as you started to shy away from him. It was the little things at first; avoiding eye contact when you were alone which lead to too much eye contact when you realized what you were doing, the way your fingers twitched when he reached for your hand, as if you wanted to pull it away before he could grab hold, the way you held onto him a little tighter and a little longer whenever he had his arms around you. He could see all the signs, plain as day, but the answer still eluded him. He could garner nothing from your friends, there were no hints at Ramshackle. He hated not knowing, but assumed you would tell him when you were ready. But after the first few days, you started to pull away more. You stopped going to the Mostro Lounge to see him during his shifts, you were going out of your way to avoid him after classes let out by following Ace and Deuce to Heartslabyul instead, you'd even called to cancel a date the two of you had set up a month prior. You were so easy to read, so why couldn't he figure this out?
As easy as it was for Jade to read you, it was even easier for Floyd to read Jade. Perks of being with someone since birth. He knew something was up between the two of you from the first stray eye twitch. So he watched. He watched Jade's reactions as you started to pull further and further away, watched his brother slowly unraveling with worry. Not enough for most people to notice, but Floyd saw. He saw the weird, lost look in his eyes before he could slap on that usual neutral smile and the disappointment on his face after another shift that you didn't show up in the middle of. Floyd wanted to believe you two would work it out on your own, but it was really getting on his nerves. So when Jade actually zoned out during a meeting about the lounge, Floyd finally lost it.
"Just go talk to Shrimpy already!" Floyd groaned loudly, draping himself dramatically over the couch. "You're killing the mood!"
"I apologize, I wasn't aware that my relationship troubles were interfering with your good time." Jade shot back with a sarcastic smile on his face. "I assure you, I will endeavor to think quieter thoughts as to not ruin your day."
"As much as I hate to admit it, Floyd is right." Azul sighed from his desk, Floyd giving him a shit eating grin that was promptly ignored. "You've been off your game for well over a week now, I think it's high time to cut the dramatics and go confront the problem."
Jade's tense smile thinned as his eye started twitching again. "And how do you propose I confront a problem that I have no knowledge of and haven't been informed about?"
"What, they haven't told you what's wrong?" Azul asked, quirking an eyebrow.
"They haven't told me that there is anything wrong."
"So then why are you just moping about it?" Floyd grumbled. "Go ask! I dunno if Shrimpy bites, but they ain't gonna bite harder than I am if you don't get your shit together!"
Jade scoffed, but bit his tongue. He knew he was being silly about it, just wishing that you would come forward with your worries on your own when it was becoming more and more clear that you had no intention of doing so. Not without a nudge. There was also a small part of him that worried that you'd disagreed with something he'd done and were afraid to talk to him about it. Afraid of him. He usually delighted in people having a healthy fear of him, but you? The idea that you could be afraid of him hurt more than he cared to admit. Floyd was right, he had to go talk to you. He didn't want to corner you, but there seemed to be no other way to be alone with you anymore.
He waited another day to put his plan into action. It was hardly a plan, to be perfectly honest. Jade had watched you follow Ace and Deuce to Heartslabyul after class again, and went to Ramshackle to wait for you to come back. He didn't know what else to do. Hours ticked by, a pot of tea long cold and he could swear he had dug grooves into the floor from all the pacing he'd done by the time you returned home. He stopped in front of the fireplace as he heard the door open, followed by a loud and long sigh before you headed towards the lounge. You froze when you turned the corner and saw him standing there, his ever present smile still on his face but it looked forced. You shuffled in place for a moment before entering the lounge to drop your bag on the couch, not looking at him.
"Hey Jade." You said, clearing your throat to try to get rid of the strain behind your voice. "What's going on?"
"I could ask you the same." He'd been debating how to approach the topic while he was waiting for you, not sure if it was better to be blunt or to ease into it. The heat of the moment ultimately made the decision for him.
"What do you mean...?"
"We don't need to play this game, darling, I've barely seen you in a week."
"I've been busy..." It was a weak argument on your part, and you knew it. You couldn't look up at him, eyes glued to the floorboards as you lied through your teeth. You weren't ready yet.
"You've been busy before, this is not that." He took a couple tentative steps towards you, like he was trying not to scare you off. "Please, talk to me. I only wish to help."
You weren't ready yet. "I don't think you can..."
"I'd like to try."
The abnormally soft tone to his voice is what finally pushed you over the edge. Tears blurred your vision before you could stop them, a massive lump in your throat cutting off any defense you could try to form in a pitiful whimper as you did your best to just not start sobbing. Jade was in front of you in two steps, gathering you up tenderly in his arms as you desperately tried to wipe away the tears before your face could become overrun. You weren't ready yet, but you were out of time. Crowley had pulled you aside a few times already asking for your decision, getting more and more impatient with each visit.
"Crowley found a way for me to go h-home." You managed to choke out around the sobs in your throat. You felt Jade tense up for a moment before some invisible tension was lifted off of him, making him relax against you with a light chuckle.
"Oh, darling, is that all?"
You paused for a second at the audacity of the question, as if all your worries meant nothing. "What do you mean, is that all?!" You bit out, smacking his chest and taking a step back. "I'm going home! I'll never... I'll never get to see you again..."
He frowned, blinking in confusion for a second before reaching out and wiping a stream of tears off your face. "You've... already decided then?"
"What?"
"You said Crowley found you a way home, not that he was forcing you to take it," he explained, "meaning you have a choice to stay or go."
"I..." You hesitated with a sniffle. He was right, you did have a choice, but... "I don't belong here, Jade. I was never supposed to be here."
"But you are." He cut in quickly before you could go on, cupping your cheeks in his hands. "You are here, whether you were "supposed" to be or not." He pulled you back in against his chest, one hand carding through your hair and the other tight against your back. "I often feel I don't belong on land, but I am here. I have found purpose on land, I've found hobbies and interests and love on land, even feeling that I don't belong." The determination in his voice made you cry a little harder. "Just because I am out of place does not mean I don't want to be here... Do you want to be here?"
You nodded into his chest, snaking your arms around his waist. "I just don't know if I should be." You admitted, no louder than a whisper.
"That is something only you can decide." He muttered into your hair before pressing his lips to the top of your head. "Whatever you decide, I will respect it... but if I may be a bit selfish?" You pulled back just enough to look him in the eyes as he gave you a sad but hopeful smile, pressing one hand to your cheek again. "I would prefer it if you stayed."
You didn't have to say it out loud, he could see the answer behind your eyes. You were always so easy to read.

Pairing: Bodhi Durran x reader
Genre: angst
Words: 2900
Note: Hopefully this is the good old kind of angst I'm good at, I almost cried myself writing this. Please be aware not every detail might be completely true to the canon source material.
Bodhi Durran swiped you off your feet, you didn’t even notice how. You had been friends for almost as long as you studied at Basgiath. He naturally gravitated towards you after threshing and since then you were an unbreakable duo. It was like knowing him your whole life, the way he always knew what to say to make you laugh or how to get on your nerves regarding the simplest things. But to Bodhi you weren’t just a friend, you were everything.
His advances started sometime during the Christmas of your first year at the college. By the New Year he wasn’t hiding his attachment from anyone. You didn’t even notice at first, it was normal for best friends to spend almost all their free time together, right? But his gaze lingered longer during the late-night study sessions, boring into you like he could reach your very core. His strong fingers rested on your waist in passing a minute too long, his touch clearly possessive to anyone else.
You’d be lying if you said you never thought about Bodhi in that way, but you were too scared to lose what you had if it were to not work out. Being friends was safe, familiar. Friendship you couldn’t fuck up. Relationship? Those were too damn complicated. But Bodhi saw. The way you chewed on your bottom lip when he fought without his shirt in challenges, the way you tried to avoid looking at his towel when coming fresh out of the shower.
“You’re the most ethereal person I have ever seen.” He whispered to you on the sundown of Reunification day, hidden in the tall towers of Basgiath, afraid to break the quiet spell between you.
“You’re too kind.” You rolled your eyes playfully, not leaving the grasp of his hands on your face.
“I’m only truthful.” He promised before finally kissing you.
The ground spun under you, gravity no longer tying you to earth. You hugged his waist, kissing him back with all the emotion you were too afraid to act on. Lucky for you Bodhi was courageous enough for the both of you. Before the next school year came, you two were an established thing everybody knew of. The two of you weren’t exactly capable of hiding your relationship, and you didn’t really want to either. Let the whole world know the loving Bodhi Durran was your man.
With the second year around the corner, you were faced with new challenges and classes, but you’d be lying if you said you weren’t equally excited. Xaden had graduated and you and Bodhi would have more time to spend together, away from his suspicious eyes. Honestly, Xaden Riorson scared you a little. You were happy to not live under his surveillance anymore. But the free time only existed in your theory.
Not only did you have new rounds of challenges, where you had to fight for your life, and the RSC training now. It seemed that any time you were able to take for yourself, Bodhi wasn’t there. You could count on one hand how many conversations you had with him in a week. For the first few times, you could understand. He surely had some leadership stuff to attend to. But weeks turned into months.
Any time he actually was there, and you dared to question what he had been doing, he only got defensive. You didn’t want to ruin your evenings, the little time you actually got with him, but the sudden change in the man who would have given anything to be glued to your side only mere weeks ago was evident and upsetting.
“What is it Bodhi? Where are you disappearing to all the time?” You practically begged him for answers.
“I’m just busy Y/n.” He retorts tiredly.
“Busy with what?” You pressed.
“None of your business!” Bodhi screamed, flooring you.
“Is there somebody else?” You whisper, almost too afraid to even ask.
“What, you think I’m a cheater? A traitor? Why do you keep questioning me!” And just like that you ruined the night once again for the both of you.
“I’m sorry…” Not even knowing what you’re really apologizing for you leave him alone.
You spent the night in your own bed, tossing and turning till dawn. You did not see Bodhi for the next three days. You tried to spend time with your other friends and your squad, but in the quiet empty evenings your mind still wondered to your boyfriend. And then he missed your birthday. You cried yourself to sleep that night, mentally drained and tired. You thought he’d remember the next time you met, but he didn’t. He talked to you like nothing was going on, and you just went with it, missing your usual enthusiasm, which he didn’t even notice.
“I feel like ho doesn’t listen to me anymore. Like he doesn’t even care.” You confess in Dain, your oldest friend in this place.
“Did you talk to him about it?” He offers, ever so helpful.
“I tried, but any time I say anything, he just gets angry and it leads nowhere.” You sigh.
After the first-year’s threshing, you noticed another girl, Sloane, who picked Bodhi’s friends’ interest. Violet told you she’s Liam’s sister, and considering how close Liam was to their squad, you could understand. But you didn’t miss that the time Bodhi did spend around was all now devoted to her. Training her, teaching her, all the things he would have done with you were now given to her and it’s like no one even noticed.
On yet another lonely night you decided to use for training in the gym, you bump into Xaden in the rotunda, he must have been on his regular visit to Violet. You’d know his commanding voice anywhere. The hushed conversation that flows makes you still, the unmistakable voice of your boyfriend accompanying him. So he had time to sneak around with his friends, yet couldn’t spare a minute for you? You can’t stop the pang of hurt and jealousy in your heart.
“Maybe you’d like to know we’re not alone anymore.” Xaden’s cutting words flow before you’re pushed forward by his cold shadows.
“Y/n.” Garrick, the last person in their group, states matter-of-factly.
“Are you sneaking up on us?” Bodhi questions you, arms folding over his chest.
“What? Why would I be sneaking up on you..? Are you meeting up like this more often?” Your brows furrow.
“Wouldn’t you like to know.” Xaden suspects you with a meaningful look to the other men.
“So that you can tell on us to your dear friend Dain?” Bodhi adds.
“Why would I do that?” You fold your arms over your chest, your own anger rising.
“Don’t think I didn’t notice how cozy you are with Aetos now.” A flash of jealousy flares through Bodhi’s eyes.
“No, you don’t get to do that.” You furiously shake your head. “Not when you’ve said more words to me tonight than you have in the past month!”
“I told you I’m busy.” He spits.
“With what!?” You finally let out your built-up irritation with him. “Or should I be asking with who? Don’t think I didn’t notice how you’re fussing over Sloane now!”
“I told you I’m no cheater!” Bodhi’s voice rises even more with frustration.
“Then who are you! Because I don’t even know you anymore!” You let the painful truth out.
“You don’t know me?” He laughs coldly. “Maybe because unlike you, I’m not a traitor who’s just been with someone to get information out of them.”
“What the hell are you talking about?” Your voice shakes as the first tears drop down your face.
“You’ve been with me just to use me. So you and your precious leadership can know what the dirty marked kids are up to, haven’t you.” He states much too calmly for the weight of his accusation. “The constant questioning, how persistent you were. It all makes sense now.”
“I was asking because I’m your girlfriend! Of course I’m worried where you are!” It’s getting hard to see through the tears, so you furiously wipe them off your face.
“Well you won’t have to worry now.” He grounds you.
“I can’t believe you.” You shake your head. “You have talked to me less than ten times in the last month, and now you accuse me of… I don’t even know what exactly. Yet I’m not the one who hasn’t been around, I’m not the one who’s constantly too busy for you… I’m not the one who even missed your birthday.”
You whisper the last sentence and run away, unable to listen to him breaking up with you. What did you do to deserve this outburst? You couldn’t find a moment where you pressed him too much, or when you weren’t being supportive, even over a little apprehension. And this is what you get back? A boyfriend who accuses you of using him in the first real conversation you have with him in weeks? You wouldn’t be surprised if the whole college had heard your screaming match, but you couldn’t find the will to care.
The next few weeks fly by in a blur, challenges, flight lessons and RSC now successfully kicking your ass. You didn’t have time to mourn your relationship, you were so exhausted from training that you passed out the moment you hit your mattress every night. Before you can fully heal from the last round of torture training, you wake up on the hard cold ground of the forest in October, so far from the college you don’t even recognize the place.
Your squad is accompanied by one from second wing and two sets of infantry cadets, everyone confused by the location, time of day, or the drugs they had to give you to drag you here. Your squad leader is not here, but you always worked nicely as a group, so you’re not too worried. The clouds above you do seem unsound tho, you better get back into the safety of Basgiath’s walls before they fulfill their promise of a heavy storm.
“Welcome to land navigation exercise.” Professor Grady greets you. “We expect you to use your best skills to return to the college, and remember, no use of dragons is allowed.”
With that you’re left alone again to figure out your way back yourself. Which didn’t go quite that well. You were lost in five hours, camped out by the river overnight, got soaked on the next day by heavy rain and had to go back ten kilometers just to return on the right track. The towers of Basgiath appeared on the horizon by the end of day three, all of you exhaling in relief. You were about ready to devour any food you’d be able to find, wash the disgusting dirt off and pass out in the comfort of your bed.
You’ll never complain about the comfort of your room again, anything was better than the stone floors of caves and wet grounds of the forest. The courtyard of Basgiath is strangely quiet, but it may be because curfew is already in effect. But nobody could be too mad at you for wandering around when you just showed up after technically being lost for three days, right? Yet the eerie silence doesn’t sit right with you.
A dragon lands on the stone wall, more of them following right after, yours included. You all look around in confusion, and then all hell breaks loose. Understanding fills the eyes of your companions as your loyal dragons rely on all the information of the past few days. Xaden Riorson breaking into the college, Violet Sorrengail’s torture, the cadre of Navarre’s betrayal and the departure of everyone who wanted to fight the right war to Tyrrendor. Your head swims, filled with all the new information and you’re suddenly more than awake in your mind, even though your body is slow to follow.
Your group breaks into a short discussion, opinions coming from all sides. Some thought Riorson was a filthy traitor, some believed you should follow him into the unknown because he couldn’t have deceived the dragons. After an hour of pointless arguments, you decided to split. Most of the infantry decided to stay, but your full squad wanted to desert to Aretia. You weren’t Xaden’s biggest fan, but you trusted your dragon and they wanted to go. Plus you were honestly scared what the leadership would do to you for knowing such things they tried for centuries to hide.
The sun was already setting when you finally returned to the college, but by the time you mount your dragons the light is long gone. It must be close to midnight, as you fly over Navarre, too tired to hold yourself on your dragon properly. Land navigation did nothing to help your bruises from torture training heal, and now flying on the verge of your strength didn’t make it better.
You can sleep, loyal one. I will take care of you. Your dragon promises lovingly.
I don’t want you to bother. You yawn even in your mind.
It’s no bother, I’m very proud of you. They assure you as you feel them striping you to their back with strong magic, making sure you won’t fall off.
Even though the flight takes hours, the sleep on your dragon’s back doesn’t really provide you with a lot of rest. You arrive in Aretia about an hour after the sun is already up, a few familiar dragons accompanying you to the grounds of Riorson house led by Sgayel. The moment your feet touch the ground, your body is ready to give up, but you force yourself upright. At the door you’re greeted by a Tyrrendor’s official.
“I’m lieutenant Aisereigh, welcome to Aretia.” A man not too older than you smiles down on your battered group. “You must be coming from Basgiath. Welcome to the revolution.”
He gets you settled in student dorms, briefing you in on the schedule and rules of the place. He also reiterates the whole tale of Navarre hiding the existence of venin and how the majority of Basgiath War College relocated here. You finally get a shower, breakfast and a real sleep. After a week you finally feel like a person again, not completely drained and disgusting.
The next day you join the provisional classes, meeting up with your squad discussing all the changes and heading to lunch. In the hall though you’re met with the sight of Xaden and his full squad of followers, Garrick, Imogen and least of all Bodhi. For a moment you hope they didn’t notice you, but his eyes meet with yours and their conversation dies down constantly. Before you realize he’s hugging you, whispering pleads and praises to gods into your ear.
“Oh my god, I’m so glad you’re okay.” He breaths, crushing your bones in his iron grip.
“What the hell are you talking about.” You gather all your will power to push him away.
“What..?” He reluctantly steps away, disoriented by your cold treatment.
“Where the hell did you get the audacity to talk to me like that!” You let your anger fill you. “I spent three days fighting through the forest and when I finally come home, the whole college is gone!”
“We needed to save Violet, and then we…” But you’re having none of his excuses.
“You left me! You left me there!” You blame him.
“We had to get the students to Aretia.” Bodhi opposes.
“You didn’t think of me for a minute, did you.” Your accusations aren’t exactly false. “You didn’t even remember to give a damn about me.”
“Of course I cared about you.” He argues. “I wanted to look for you if you didn’t come here…”
“Yea? Don’t even get me started on that!” You push your finger into his chest. “How long has this been going on? Why did you never tell me!?”
“We had to keep it all a secret…” Bodhi defends.
“Were you planning another revolution this whole time?” His guilty look tells you enough. “You question my loyalty, you accuse me of spying, of not loving you… and in the meantime it was you! You were just using me!”
“No, Y/n please, I love you, you have to believe me.” He pleads, eyes filled with sorrow now.
“I see now that your accusations of treason were just projections of your own doing.” You force your tone back to uninterested calmness. “Gods, I love you, but I hate you so fucking much.”
“Honey don’t say that…” He tries to catch your sight again, his hand desperately grasping yours. “I can’t lose you.”
“You’ll get over it.” You step away from him, your eyes watering with tears. “Maybe Sloane can help you with that, since everything seems to be so much more important to you.”
You run away to join your squad, willing your tears to dry up. He wasn’t worth the hurt, you wouldn’t miss someone who constantly put you on the bottom of his priorities now. If he doesn’t care enough about you anymore, neither will you. You’ll ignore the breaking of your heart until only dust is left of it. You weren’t going to remind him to care about you, if this is the path he has chosen, you’ll let him walk on it. Sometimes loving someone isn’t enough.

IF YUU IS A KITSUNE 🦊🦊
Tumblr media Tumblr media
A kitsune is a mythical creature from Japanese folklore, often depicted as a fox with magical abilities. Kitsune are known for their shape-shifting powers, commonly transforming into humans, They are intelligent, cunning, and can live for hundreds or even thousands of years, with their powers and wisdom increasing as they age.
( English is not my first language)
In my head, I imagine Kitsune!yuu would be sorted between savanaclaw or pomifiore as their dorm. It depends on you guys to be honest. During the ceremony the area is filled with mist when they step out of the coffin. Or when grim opens the coffin he immediately jumps back because, kitsune!yuu would have already been awake and stared at grim with a grin
Kitsune!yuu would be a hundred years old, maybe 500 years or older. fried tofu with a bowl of udon would be their favorite food. They could come from a clan of kitsune or they grew up all alone in the forest. Since most kitsune are able to shape shift, kitsune!yuu are able to change their appearance to their liking or which form they will find comfortable.
During when grim was about to be kicked out of the school grounds, kitsune!yuu would vouch for him asking headmaster Crowley if they can keep him ( by hypnotizing him ) using their amazing negotiation skills the head master agrees
I imagine kitsune!yuu would disguise themselves as a normal beast man, to hide their true identity, only people who have a strong tuition to tell something is unusual with yuu and their true identity being a normal beast man.
Kitsune!yuu tend to play harmless pranks around the school, even tho many students have been of the victims of these harmless, kitsune!yuu will always manage to find a way to get away with these pranks.
Their ability to use illusionary magic is just one of their magical abilities, For example they are able to create clones of themselves to attend classes while they chill and sleep in the garden. This part will immediately make Leona be suspicious of them because how can they be sleeping in the garden when ruggie said that he saw them walking between periods in the hallway with the Adeuce and grim at the same time. Something is definitely not right with them.
They even know when rook is stalking them, they even look at his direction and wave at him with a grin. Caught him off guard. It seems like they are able to sense or smell his location even if it's a mile away.
What's more weird, when kitsune!yuu is in a reflective surface example when they were ordering a drink at monstro lounge, Their reflection on the aquarium was different, instead of one tail, they had multiple tails by jade who manage to take a glimpse of the reflection and when he looks at yuu, they were smiling and waving at him, and then they leave with their drink in hand.
Kitsune!yuu is also recognized to be very beautiful to the point it can suppress and rival vil beauty, they also tend to release a pheromone or a scent that can make people relax ( making them to be more easier to hypnotize ).
And during the night, they sometimes can be seen with malleus, having a nice stroll together enjoying the night sky and talking about gargoyles.
Grim originally was afraid of kitsune!yuu believed they would eat him one day, but both he started to warm up upon them.
During the Octavinelle chapter, every time Azul makes a contract with them it will always end the same, they will always manage to outsmart him. He even asks the twins to follow them, but every time they will always discover the twins without much effort.

Useless, part 2
Sam and Dean Winchester & little sister
Requested: not, no one asked for this, I just felt like writing it. And you guys seemed enthusiastic with that poll so here it is.
Synopsis: you, Sam, and Dean have some things to get used to with him back as a human.
Part 1 is here
Warnings: abuse, addiction, anxiety, reader likes Taylor Swift
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sam was worried.
In the days after you detoxed from demon blood, he had been relieved that you didn’t seem to be afraid of Dean, even after everything he’d done as a demon. Neither you nor Dean would speak about what had happened in those weeks, so Sam had to be content to let things be forgotten. But something about the way you’d been tagging behind Dean at all times was…not normal.
He wondered if Dean saw it too, although he suspected that Dean was so relieved you didn’t hate him that he didn’t notice.
He was wrong; Dean knew exactly why you never left his side.
“Stay close, and don’t try anything. I taught you all of your tricks, so we both know you won’t get away with it.” It was the first time you had been unchained since Dean took you from the bunker, so you decided not to argue with him for now.
It had been four days of the same suffocating motel room, with only Dean and Crowley to keep you company the few times they’d stumbled in, so even the sight of a dingy bar was welcome to you.
Other than Crowley, the whole thing felt almost normal—Dean drinking and trying to pick up the bartender with cheesy pickup lines. If you didn’t currently have demon blood pumping through your veins and cuts on your wrists from where your big brother chained you up, you could almost forget he was a demon.
In fact, it was so normal that you got a little too comfortable. You quickly bored of watching Dean flirt, and you found yourself wandering over to the nearest pool table. You hadn’t even set up the balls yet when a vice grip on your arm froze you.
“What do you think you’re doing?” Dean spat out through gritted teeth.
“Playing pool.” You scoffed at your older brother, not quite realizing that you were pushing at his fragile nerves. “You’re hurting my arm, let go.”
“I don’t think you’re getting something here, little sister.” Dean drew himself up to his full height, and you suddenly realized just how very small you were. “This isn’t playtime. You don’t get to run around wherever you want anymore, understand? I’m in charge now, and you’re going to do exactly what I say, or I’ll make you regret the day you were born. Now I told you to stay close, and I meant it.”
You opened your mouth to fight—you may be forced to ride along, you may even be forced to drink demon blood, but you weren’t his lapdog, and you wouldn’t be treated like one—but the words died in your throat when you looked up and your eyes were met with black orbs.
Dean wasn’t just Dean anymore. He was capable of…
Of—you didn’t even want to know what.
“I’ll make you regret the day you were born.” Dean’s words echoed in your head. He was just trying to scare you, obviously. Dean…Dean would never hurt you.
Dean turned on his heel and returned to the bar, and you found yourself following. Until you knew exactly what this black-eyed Dean was capable of, it was safer to do what he said. For now.
“That’s what I thought,” Dean grumbled, reaching into his back pocket and pulling out his flask. “Drink.”
“But…people…” you glanced around, wary of the other patrons.
Something hard suddenly collided with the side of your face, and the metallic taste of blood followed a sharp pain in your lip. You blinked once, twice, trying to make sense of what just happened. The flask was still in front of your face, only now there was the dark red of your blood staining the side of it.
“I said drink,” Dean growled.
Your bleeding lower lip quivered for a second before dropping open, and Dean tilted the flask up, pouring its contents into your mouth while your distracted mind whirled.
He hadn’t meant to do that, right? Dean had never—never—hurt you. He was just lifting the flask, and your face got in the way. He hadn’t hit you with it—he wouldn’t.
It was just an accident, you told yourself.
The twisted grin on Dean’s face said otherwise.
“Hey, thanks.” Dean’s happy tone caught Sam’s attention, and he looked up to see you handing Dean a sandwich. That was something else—you seemed to be anticipating Dean’s wants or needs and getting ahead of them, like there was some weird telepathic link between the two of you.
You were standing at Dean’s side now, staring at him like you were waiting for something.
“You need something?” It was Sam who spoke up, not Dean.
“N…no.” You took a half-step back from Dean and stared at your shoes like you’d been caught doing something wrong. Sam had no idea what to make of it.
But Dean did.
Dean hadn’t even noticed you lingering at his side until Sam questioned you. He turned to look, and he caught your expectant expression for half a second before it dropped, and you were stepping away from Dean.
“N…no,” you mumbled to Sam, looking uncharacteristically guilty.
Dean felt like a rock was lodged in the pit of his stomach. The sandwich, the lingering, the guilt…
It was evidence of a pathway in your mind that Dean had meticulously paved as a demon—give him what he wanted, and nothing bad would happen—and it made him sick to his stomach.
Even now, he watched your hands shaking and knew your subconscious was screaming for blood—because he’d trained you to expect reward.
“Did you clean the guns?” Dean asked you, desperate for a change of topic to ease the tension in the room. You often cleaned the weapons after a hunt, since the brothers rarely let you after the monsters, and it gave you something to do. However, Dean instantly regretted asking when all the color drained from your face.
“I—um—I forgot.” Your hands were fidgeting, and your eyes wouldn’t leave your shoes. “I’m sorry De, I can—I’ll go do it right now. I didn’t mean to—“
“Hey, you ok?” Dean hadn’t noticed Sam crossing the room until he was in front of you, trying to get you to meet his eye as he spoke.
You weren’t ok, and Dean knew why.
Dean had been getting annoyed with Crowley lately. His demons were always under foot, and Dean wanted to teach him a lesson. When one of the demons got a little too close and comfortable, Dean decided to act.
“I want you to exorcise that one,” he muttered to you.
You lifted your head, locking your eyes with the demon he was referring to before looking away quickly.
“De, I’ve never—I don’t know how to—“
“Did I tell you to ask questions?” Dean snapped. Your protests stopped.
“No sir.”
“Good. You know how to do it, you saw Sam do it, and you’ve got demon blood. Now do it.”
You swallowed hard, returning your gaze to the demon whose attention was now elsewhere. Your hand twitched as you focused, the blood pulsing in your veins as pain shot through your head. You winced, feeling hot blood dripping down your nose as you concentrated.
The demon started to cough and gag, black smoke coming out of his mouth. But he didn’t leave his vessel.
“C’mon, c’mon,” Dean mumbled, watching the demon carefully. His eyes switched to you when you gasped in exhaustion, collapsing back into the counter as your strength gave out.
“I can’t,” you whimpered. “I’m sorry—“
Dean didn’t stay to listen.
“I’ll deal with this myself,” he growled, and in two strides he was near the demon, letting his fists loose on him in a firestorm of rage.
You watched in silent horror for as long as you were able, but when the demon’s face was unrecognizable in the carnage and he was sobbing and begging for mercy, you couldn’t stop yourself.
“Dean, stop it!” You ran to your brother, but he didn’t give you so much as a glance or a grunt. “Dean, that’s enough!” You grabbed your brother’s arm as he wound up to swing again.
It happened in a flash, and you were flat on your back before you even began to feel the sting on your face. You took a deep breath as your brother continued his attack on the demon, trying to replay the last few seconds in your mind.
Dean hadn’t meant to do that, surely. He was just swinging back to hit the demon, and you’d gotten in the way. He hadn’t slapped you—so hard that you could practically feel your face turning black and blue—on purpose, right?
Of course not. Dean wouldn’t ever hurt you on purpose.
Dean shoved the demon to the ground; he was done. His attention turned to you, but when he saw your pathetic form, battered and barely able to get off the floor, his gaze didn’t soften. He didn’t ask if you were ok, he didn’t apologize for accidentally hitting you.
Instead, his harsh grip yanked you to your feet by the arm, and your back was against the counter before you’d registered that he shoved you.
A cry of surprise and pain escaped your lips when Dean backhanded you across the face.
“Don’t ever tell me what to do again,” Dean growled. “And next time I give you an order, I expect you to do it.”
That hadn’t been an accident. There was no confusing it for anything but what it had been—your big brother slapping you across the face because he was angry with you.
But it didn’t feel right; it didn’t feel possible.
You must’ve deserved it, a voice from the back of your mind said. You got in his way, and he can’t let you do it again. He hit you to teach you—he’s teaching you to protect you.
Everything about that thought felt so wrong. But not nearly as wrong as the truth felt.
“Don’t worry about it, ok?” Dean spoke up. “I needed something to do this afternoon anyway, I’ll take care of the guns.”
You went quiet, slowly nodding as you calmed down.
“I need to go get us some supplies,” Sam cut in, his eyes still trained on you. “You wanna come with, kid?”
Dean watched as your gaze shifted to him, a lingering question in your eyes. You were waiting for permission, whether you knew it or not.
“Y/N?” Sam said, and his voice snapped your attention.
“Oh, um…ok.” You seemed to realize you didn’t need permission, but you were still lingering by Dean’s chair, tension clear in your stance.
“Bring me back some beer,” Dean said, and you seemed to relax a little at the permission implied in his statement. “And pie.”
You could feel Sam’s eyes on you as you walked around the store with him. You knew you were acting weird, but you’d spent so long with demon Dean that you weren’t so sure what normal was anymore.
Following Dean and listening to his orders felt so normal, but now even Dean was giving you those worried looks when he caught you lingering.
“Here.” You blinked when Sam waved a water bottle in front of your face. “You look thirsty.”
You lifted your arm to take it, but the second it was in your hands your grip slackened, the bottle falling as a not-so-distant memory knocked you back on your heels.
“If you can’t do a simple thing I ask, then maybe I don’t need you here.” Dean was chaining your wrists as he spoke—something he hadn’t done for a couple of days, because you’d been obedient. “Now you’re gonna learn about consequences, kiddo. And when this is over, maybe you’ll actually be useful.”
You no longer doubted Dean’s willingness to hurt you, so you were prepared for the worst. But you weren’t prepared for Dean to turn on his heel and walk out the door. Hours went by, and every one that ticked on made you realize that this punishment was worse than Dean hitting you. You were desperate for blood—it felt like your bones were drying out, like your powers were seeping through your skin and taking your energy with them. Your nerves were on fire, and you were shaking by the time night fell, but still Dean didn’t return.
You nearly cried in relief when the door opened, and then again in disappointment when you saw not Dean, but one of Crowley’s henchman. He barely gave you a glance as he crossed the room and opened a suitcase.
Just another lapdog fetching something for his master, you thought bitterly. Not like I’m much better.
“Hey.” You spoke up before you’d even made the decision to do so. “Wait, don’t go.”
“I’m here to get something for the king, not to talk to his pet’s pet,” the demon snapped.
“I get it,” you scoffed, “you think I’m some nobody. Not like you’re exactly in charge.”
The demon started to walk towards the door.
“I can help you!” You said. The demon’s step faltered, so you continued. “I have influence. You may hate my brother, but Crowley listens to him, and Dean listens to me.” Dean didn’t listen to you, but hopefully this demon didn’t know that. “So maybe if you do a little something for me, then I put in a good word for you.”
“Why should I believe you have influence?” The demon argued. “You’re in chains.”
“Freedom and influence aren’t the same thing,” you countered.
“Say I did believe you,” the demon ventured. “What would you want from me?”
“You know I’m jacked up on demon blood,” you said, hardly believing the words coming out of your mouth. Maybe you didn’t need to do this, maybe this was how you could stop, maybe Dean cutting off your supply was a blessing.
Then pain shot through your body, cutting off your argument with a whimper as you curled in on yourself.
“Well…” you swallowed hard, forcing yourself to continue. “Well my big brother’s been a little busy lately, and I need a hit.”
“So…some of my blood.” The demon pulled out his knife and held it to his hand, but he didn’t cut. “How exactly could you influence Crowley?”
“What do you want?” You asked.
“I want to be in charge of the crossroads,” he said.
“I’ll tell him you’re the most powerful demon I’ve ever seen, I’ll tell him whatever you want him to hear. Just help me out.”
“Fine.” The demon grunted as he sliced into his palm, grabbing one of the paper coffee cups off the desk and letting his blood drip into it. You waited in agony as the blood slowly filled the cup, before the demon wiped his hand and held the cup out for you.
The cup hadn’t even touched your lips before the door opened, and your whole body stiffened in terror as Dean strode into the room, Crowley at his heels.
“Hey—what—“ Dean watched the scene for less than a second before he had the First Blade in his grip, his eyes pitch black as he yanked the demon away from you, the blood-filled cup spilling on the carpet.
“Wait, wait!” The demon whimpered. “I-I didn’t think you—I didn’t know—“
Dean wasn’t listening. He drove the blade into the demon’s chest, and the demon’s pleading stopped.
“Hey!” Crowley protested. “He was one of my best dealers!”
Dean turned his steel gaze on the king of hell. “He tried to give my sister his blood,” Dean growled. “He got what he deserved.”
“It’s nothing you haven’t done,” Crowley scoffed.
Dean rolled his eyes.
“If you don’t understand the problem, I can’t help you.” Then he turned his gaze to you, and you curled in on yourself.
“De, I-I didn’t—“
“Oh, you did. You think you’re a big girl now, is that it? A big girl with her big girl powers trying to be big enough to get her own supplier, huh?”
“I-it hurt so much, and I—“
“Did you really have to kill him?” Crowley’s interruption had Dean’s fists clenching as he gritted his teeth.
“She has powers,” Dean spat, furious that he had to explain himself. “And while I’m her supplier, her powers are my powers. So yes, I had to kill him—and you’d better hope the rest of your little demons get the message. She’s mine. No one else feeds her, no one else talks to her, no one else looks at her.” Dean’s eyes were back on you, deep pits that had been haunting your nightmares. “But don’t think this means you’ve got power over me, kiddo. If you’d taken even a drop of that guy’s blood, you’d be dead right now. You’re under my control; you eat when I give you food, you get blood when I give it to you. You’re only breathing right now because I allow it. Forget that again, and it’ll be the last thing you do.”
“Alright, you’ve made your point.” Crowley grunted as he dragged the body to the corner of the room.
“Crowley.” Dean’s eyes never left you as he spoke. “Get out. I need to teach my little sister a lesson.”
“Dean—“
“De, don’t,” you interrupted Crowley. “You-you don’t have to do this. You’re still my big brother.”
A cruel glimmer lit up in Dean’s eye as he started to laugh.
“Aww, isn’t that just sweet. But you’re not gettin this, kiddo.” Dean’s hand was at your neck before you’d even seen his arm move. “I’m keeping you around because you’re useful, and honestly I’m having fun with this.” Dean’s fingers were slowly tightening, and when your attempt to breath came up short you whimpered, your eyes shuttering closed as Dean continued. “But the minute you become more trouble than you’re worth, you’re done, you hear me? I’ll throw you away like trash, and not even Sammy’s gonna want you now, all juiced up on demon blood.”
Sammy didn’t want you anymore. Dean didn’t want you either, not really. All he wanted was to use you…
You weren’t wanted. But if all you could be was useful, then maybe you could do more to be of use to Dean, before he got rid of you.
“Now you crossed a line,” Dean continued while Crowley left the room. “And you’re going to regret it.”
You swallowed hard, willing your shaking hands to still. You knew this was going to be bad, but you were going to take it.
And you wouldn’t give him a reason to do it again. You were going to be useful.
“I don’t want it.”
“What? Kid, it’s just water—“ Sam bent down and picked up the bottle, holding it out for you again.
“No!” You slapped it out of his hands before backing away. “I—I won’t, I won’t do it!” You spun on your heel and ran down the aisle, turning and bolting straight for the door. Once you were outside, you slid against the side of the building and dropped to the ground in the alley, pulling your phone from your pocket and pressing Dean’s number.
“Hey, did they have pie—“
“Dean.” You sniffled, your voice shaking before you swallowed hard.
Get it together, you urged yourself.
“Dean, I’m sorry, I’m sorry.”
“Sorry? Kid, what’s going on?”
“I—I didn’t take it—I’m not—“
You couldn’t breathe, you couldn’t think.
He’s gonna beat me again. He’s gonna abandon me.
“Y/N? Hey, you ok?” Sam was next to you now, shaking your shoulder. He took your phone when your grip faltered. “Dean? Yeah, we…we’re coming home. It’s ok.” He hung up, putting his full attention on you. “Honey, what’s going on?”
“No,” you whimpered. “I can’t do it, he doesn’t want me to.”
“Who?” Sam asked. He put his hands on your shoulders. “What are you talking about? Dean? N/N, he’s not a demon anymore. You’re safe, he’s not gonna hurt you.”
You didn’t respond, so Sam lifted you into his arms and carried you to the Impala.
“It’s ok,” he promised. “You’re gonna be ok.”
You didn’t speak the whole way home, but when Sam parked the car and tried to lead you inside, you froze.
“De’s in there,” you mumbled, and Sam couldn’t tell if you were talking to him or yourself—you looked so out of it.
“Yeah,” Sam said. “But it’s just Dean, he’s not gonna hurt you.”
“He can’t—I can’t let him see me,” you sniffled, rubbing at your tear-stained face. “He can’t see me like this.”
You didn’t know that Dean already had; he was standing at the edge of the hallway, watching as Sam tried to coax you further into the bunker.
He knew exactly why you didn’t want him to see you, and it made his heart twist just thinking about it.
It was a few hours after Dean had beat you for the first time. He’d fed you some of his blood after as a “reward” for taking the beating “without being a wimp.” Then he’d left with Crowley again to get more beers, and when he’d returned he was ready to move on to the next town—this one had gotten boring.
“It’s time to go,” he said, reaching up to unchain you. You didn’t fight, but Dean heard a sound that set his teeth on edge; you were sniffling. “Are you crying?” He snapped.
“I’m-I’m ok, just give me a minute,” you pleaded.
Dean stayed eerily silent, watching you. You ducked your head—you knew he’d seen you crying, but you still didn’t want him to watch.
“So this is what you do when I leave.” Dean shook his head. “Is this what you used to do in the bunker too, when you’d hide in your room?” Dean needled you. “What, you think just because you don’t let us see you cry, that makes you tough?” He scoffed, his hand coming up behind your neck and grabbing a fistful of your hair, yanking your head back so you couldn’t hide your tears from him. “You’re still crying like a little brat. So no, I’m not gonna give you a minute. I’m not gonna give you a second—you get it together and stop acting like a baby, or I’m gonna beat the weakness outta you, understand?”
A sob escaped your throat before you could stifle it, but when Dean lifted a hand to hit you, you quickly quieted, wiping your tears away and pursing your lips shut tightly.
“Fine,” Dean grumbled, dropping his hand. “I better never see that again, understand?”
“Yes sir,” you promised, getting to unsteady feet and letting Dean lead the way out of the motel room.
“Why can’t Dean see you kiddo?” Sam asked gently.
“I’m weak.” You were desperately wiping at your eyes, but the tears kept coming. “I’m weak and I’m useless and I can’t be!”
Dean had seen enough.
“No you’re not,” he said, cringing when you jumped in surprise. “You’re not weak. It’s ok, you can—“
“I’m sorry,” you sobbed, backing away from Dean and wiping your sleeve against your face so hard that you were turning red.
“Hey, hey it’s ok.” Dean was in front of you by the time you lowered your sleeve. He raised his hand to wipe away the tears that were still flowing.
Your eyes screwed shut as your shoulders tensed and your whole body flinched. Dean froze, feeling like an ice cube was dropped down his shirt. His hand was shaking as he gently touched it to your face. You flinched again before slowly opening your eyes when you realized he wasn’t hitting you.
“I’m not mad,” Dean said softly. “I’m never gonna hurt you again, ok? I promise.”
You were still crying, so Dean pulled you into his arms. Sam watched helplessly, a sinking feeling in his stomach as he began to realize just how bad your life had been with his demon brother.
“I think we should go for a little drive,” Dean suggested when your whimpers finally faded away. “I’ve got some things to say to you.”
You were shaking like a leaf, but you didn’t say no. Sam just watched as Dean slowly led you out to the Impala, and he couldn’t help but think this was a horrible idea.
He’s never coming back. He doesn’t want me anymore. I’m all alone.
Every time Dean left you alone, the worries started. If he decided you were too much extra weight, you’d have nowhere to go and no one that would take you in—no one would want a demon blood addict. Sam would be so ashamed of you.
“Hey!” Dean snapped his fingers in front of your face, and you flinched. “Would you pay attention? I’m back, that means get up and let’s go.”
“I’m sorry,” you mumbled, jumping to your feet and grabbing the bag Dean had bought you, which was always packed. “I’m ready.”
“Good,” he grumbled.
“Ah good, you’re still here.” Crowley said after opening the door without knocking. “I think we need to have a little conversation. About her.” Crowley nodded his head in your direction.
“Go ahead,” Dean answered. “She won’t mind.”
Your hands were fidgeting in your sleeves while Crowley rolled his eyes.
“Fine. I’m sick of dragging the kid around. She’s useless—“ he glanced at you— “no offense.”
“I told you already Crowley; she stays with me.”
“She can’t even do anything with that blood you gave her,” Crowley shot back. “Just leave her here for Moose to find. It’s a win-win for everyone.”
Your heart was in your throat, your attention fully on your big brother as he pondered Crowley’s suggestion.
“Dean, I’m—I’m trying. I’ll learn to use my powers, I promise!” Dean didn’t even glance your way, and you started to get frustrated, your anger directing itself as Crowley as you stepped towards him. “You can’t just—“
“Hey.” One of Crowley’s goons—who had trailed in behind the king—stepped in your way, his hand raised like some kind of secret service agent. “Back off.”
“Screw you!” You yelled, raising your hand and screwing your eyes shut in concentration.
For a long, sickening moment, you thought nothing was going to happen.
Then the demon started to scream.
You waited until the screaming stopped to open your eyes. The demon’s vessel was sprawled out on the floor, groaning.
“Hey!” Crowley snapped. “You can’t just—“
But you weren’t listening. You didn’t see anything in the room except for Dean’s proud grin.
“I knew keeping you around was a good idea,” he chuckled, pulling out his flask. “Drink up kid, you earned it.”
All you had to do was be useful, and you’d never be alone.
Was Dean angry? Probably—you hadn’t remembered to clean the guns, and then you’d ditched him to go to the store with Sam, and then you’d cried.
He doesn’t want me anymore. He’s going to kick me out of the car and leave me.
Your heart was beating nearly out of your chest, so loud in your ears that you wondered if Dean heard it. He was silent beside you, even though he’d said he wanted to talk to you, which made you even more sure that he’d brought you out here to leave you.
“We gotta fix this,” Dean said finally.
Fix what? Fix me?
“It can’t keep going like this.”
So he does want to get rid of me.
“You hearing me, kid?” Dean asked.
You didn’t know what to say, so you responded automatically.
“Yes sir.”
“No, I…ok.” Dean sighed, turning the Impala into a near-empty parking lot. “Let’s try this.” He parked the car, then stared at you for a long minute. “You gettin out?”
Your hands were shaking as you glanced out the window, then back at Dean.
This is it. He doesn’t want me anymore. He’s abandoning me.
Dean’s hands were tight on the wheel as he drove, the silence beyond awkward. You sat tensely beside Dean the whole car ride, not saying a word. He knew he was still scaring you, but he just didn’t know how to fix it.
“You hearing me, kid?” Dean asked, turning to glance at you.
“Yes sir,” you answered.
Dean’s heart dropped—he really was scaring you.
“No, I…ok.” Dean sighed, pulling into a cafe parking lot. “Let’s try this.” Maybe it was being stuck alone in the Impala that was making you nervous—maybe if he got you around people, you wouldn’t be as scared of him.
He parked, but you still didn’t move—if anything you seemed even more scared and tense.
“You gettin out?” He asked. That was, apparently, the wrong thing to ask, though Dean didn’t understand why.
Your hands were shaking so bad that your sleeves were fluttering, and it looked like you’d stopped breathing.
“I can do better.” Your voice came out barely above a whisper. “Please don’t leave me here, Dean. I’ll do whatever you want, I promise!”
“Hey, whoa, what?” Dean stiffened in his seat. “Leave you—kid, what are you talking about?”
“I-I know I’ve been screwing it up all day, but I’ll do better, I swear!” You pleaded. Dean still had no idea what you were talking about. “Just don’t make me go, please don’t make me.”
“Hey, hey, stop.” Dean reached out and grabbed your hands, trying to ignore the way you flinched. “Stop it. I’m not leaving you here, I just—I’m trying to talk to you.”
“You’re not mad?” You were curled in on yourself, staring up at Dean and looking about 3 feet tall.
“No.” Dean spoke gently, deliberately. “Of course I’m not mad at you. But things have been different since…since everything. And I want to fix it. I don’t want you to look at me like I…”
Like I’m a demon. Like you think I’m gonna hurt you.
You were relaxing, slowly but surely.
“So…so you’re not gonna leave me out here?”
“Why do you keep asking that?” Dean demanded.
“I just…you threatened to do it so many times before…” you weren’t looking at Dean anymore, your eyes trained on your lap. Dean’s heart twisted in his chest, and it took a moment before he was breathing again.
“I was a demon, kid. And that doesn’t make up for any of the crap I said to you—but I don’t feel that way, not for a second. I’d never leave you behind, never.”
You kept babbling on.
“I know I’m not as useful anymore—“
“Hey,” Dean interrupted. “Kid, we talked about this. Don’t you remember?”
“I guess, I just…” you sigh. “I wasn’t sure if…if you meant it, or if you just felt bad.”
“Every word. I meant every word,” Dean assured you. “I know you’re still scared of me, but you don’t have to be. That stuff I did won’t ever happen again, ok?”
“Ok,” you mumbled, but you didn’t sound so convinced.
“How about this.” Dean sighed heavily. “How about…we talk to Sam about what happened. It’s not gonna be fun, but maybe he can help us. He’s about as close to a therapist as the two of us are gonna get, and he keeps us in check. If you start gettin scared, he’ll understand. And if I start being a jerk, he’ll knock me into shape. Sound good?” Dean felt the pain in his chest easing as he watched you become less and less tense.
“Sounds…better than nothing,” You decided.
“Good. Let’s head back then.” Dean started up the Impala and swung the car into a u-turn.
“Hey Dean?”
Dean hummed.
“I’m trying not to be scared of you.”
Dean offered you a faint smile.
“I know kid.” He sat in silence for a minute before a grin lifted his features. “How’s this for not scary?” He reached down under his seat and pulled out a cassette, popping it into the player. “I was gonna give you this on your birthday.”
The opening notes to your favorite Taylor Swift song started playing, and Dean laughed at your shocked expression.
He started to sing along with the tape, but he didn’t get a single word right.
“You’re doing it wrong!” You insisted, smacking Dean on the arm. But you were smiling more than Dean had seen in weeks.
“No, I’m not.”

—Imagine me and you, I do
[Song: Slothrust - Happy Together]
I think about you day and night
It's only right to think about the girl you love
And hold her tight, so happy together...
I cannot see me lovin' nobody but you for all of my life
When I'm with you, baby
The skies will be blue for all of my life...

As he looked through the documents, Crowley could only sigh wearily. He wouldn’t have even touched the stack of papers collecting dust on his desk for days, but in his opinion, the cruel Trein-sensei had shoved yet another pile of documents into his face and kicked him out of his classroom when Crowley, as usual, tried to insert his two cents into the teachers' lessons. Grumbling, he decided to get to work after all.
Crowley hadn’t even known there had been a fight between students, which resulted in a broken window in one of the classrooms.
"If only my birdie were here to help me with this..." Crowley muttered into the empty room, though it sounded more like a complaint than a wish.
But suddenly, he stiffened when he felt someone pass through one of his magical barriers. It took him a few more seconds to realize exactly which barrier had been breached—the one around the entire college, the one around Ramshackle Dorm (which he had set up for your safety), or... the barrier placed around the restricted section of the library.
That one caught his attention. Usually, only teachers and Crowley himself had access to that area, and the barrier was meant to prevent someone without magic from entering—specifically, you. He had done it not only to stop you from searching for a way home but also to ensure that magical books wouldn’t harm you. Isn't he kind?
Crowley shot up from his chair, leaving the half-read document behind, grabbed his cane, and, with a smooth swing, teleported straight to the library.
"Well, well, Prefect, isn't the library supposed to be closed?" Crowley smiled, leaning on his cane and blocking your path further into the restricted section. He was angry, but he hid it well. His frustration was directed more at himself for failing to set up a proper barrier than at you.
You flinched in fear, clutching Grim so tightly that even in his own fright, he grumbled in protest.
“Headmage Crowley?!” you exclaimed, not expecting the man to appear right in front of you.
"Oh, my apologies, I didn’t mean to startle you, but you really shouldn't be here," Crowley said smoothly before effortlessly scooping you up—Grim included—into his arms. One hand, still gripping his cane, held you by the shoulder, while the other supported your legs. He didn’t notice how his claws pressed uncomfortably against your skin, even through your clothes—not enough to leave bruises or scratches, but enough for you to wince. Before you could even react, Crowley teleported you both straight to Ramshackle Dorm.
The lights in the lounge flickered on as soon as the three of you appeared, and the ghosts floated through the walls to greet you. But one glance from Crowley, even through his mask, made it clear: "Leave." The ghosts obeyed immediately, disappearing as if they had never been there.
Setting you gently back on your feet, Crowley took a step back, smiling brightly. Grim jumped down from your arms, looking for a place to collapse. He still wasn’t used to teleportation.
"You do understand that you entered the restricted section of the library, don’t you, Prefect?" Crowley asked, and upon seeing your confused expression, he clarified, "That part is off-limits to students. Only teachers and I are allowed inside."
“Oh… I’m sorry, I didn’t know. But why is it restricted?” you asked, confused by his reaction. Normally, if you wandered somewhere you shouldn’t, he would simply stop you and explain what it was. Not teleport you away.
Crowley chuckled. Your naivety was so sweet that he couldn’t resist. His hand gently landed on your head, stroking your hair without even pretending to be angry at you. After all, it wasn’t really your fault.
"Hmm..." Crowley paused for a few seconds, carefully considering how to phrase his answer without raising suspicion. His fingers absentmindedly played with your hair as if it helped him think, but after a moment, he withdrew his hand, resting it on his chin. His tone shifted into something more thoughtful—something rarely seen or heard from him.
"Many of the things in there—artifacts, books, diaries—can be dangerous for you. I don’t want an enchanted book to shock you with lightning or throw you into a wall just because you don’t have magic!"
He threw his hands up dramatically, making sure his cane didn’t hit you, looking overly distressed about your well-being. But you didn’t get a chance to respond. Crowley was already circling you, inspecting you for any sign of injury.
To you, it felt like an overprotective mother raven checking on her fledgling learning to fly.
"Thank the Great Seven that you’re unharmed," Crowley sighed, smoothing out your uniform after his examination. "Now, promise me you won’t go into that part of the library again!"
His intense gaze made you swallow nervously. His strict demeanor was such a contrast to his usual… incompetent behavior. His hands on his hips, his eyes narrowed—glowing gold behind his mask—made it clear he wasn’t joking.
"Yes, I promise, Headmage Crowley."
His face immediately softened, his wide smile replacing the stern expression. He cleared his throat, adjusted his hat, and the eyes on his mask closed as if in contentment.
"Good! It’s wonderful to see that you’re smarter than the other students," Crowley said with a pointed huff, hinting at his ever-growing stack of paperwork. "I still have a lot of work to do, so good night, Prefect, Grim-kun. And because I’m so kind, there’s a little surprise waiting for you in the kitchen."
He gifted you his signature smile—but it wasn’t the same one he gave everyone else. With a tap of his cane against the dorm floor, he disappeared, leaving behind only a few stray feathers from his coat.
The smile on his face faded the moment he reappeared in the library. Taking a few steps toward the barrier’s edge, Crowley frowned. His magic could only be bypassed by extremely powerful magic, and at this school, only Draconia-kun had such abilities. But he was sure this wasn’t the work of a Diasomnia student. If it were, the barrier would have been completely destroyed, not just… letting you through.
Crowley clenched his fist. His claws dug deep into his palm, tearing through his glove first and then his skin, allowing crimson droplets to fall onto the floor, staining both the carpet and his shoes. His jaw tightened, his expression darkened, and the metallic scent of his own blood filled his nostrils.
He was displeased. His magic had deemed you worthy of entering that place. Even his own magic recognized you as his mate.
Taking a deep breath to calm himself—and to resist the urge to knock over a nearby bookshelf—he snapped his fingers with his uninjured hand. The wounds on his palm closed instantly, the glove restored itself, and the blood vanished.
"I need to keep a closer eye on my dove," Crowley murmured emotionlessly, turning his gaze back to the barrier’s edge. Snorting, he waved his cane through the air, reinforcing the magic with a triple-layered barrier—one that would guarantee you’d never step foot in that place again.
In the next moment, he was back in his office.
His eyes landed briefly on the disorganized documents still scattered across his desk. He grimaced. As always, his desire to do actual work lost to his laziness. With a quiet groan, he collapsed onto the couch, shrugging off his coat and tossing it over the backrest. His hat ended up somewhere on the floor—not that he cared.
Sinking into the soft cushions, Crowley closed his eyes. His mask remained in place, as if afraid you might suddenly show up at his office in the middle of the night. Magic had drained his remaining energy—the energy that was supposed to be spent on those damn documents.
He yawned, covering his mouth with one hand before folding his arms across his chest. Sleep slowly crept in.
His last thought before drifting off was whether you liked his little surprise—a luxurious dinner—and if you would thank him tomorrow for being such a generous and benevolent Headmage.

The Ordeal of Finding a Friend
(This is based on the theory that if Meleanor is in the dark mirror,,, then does that mean that she's responsible for recruiting students for NRC--?? then does that mean that she also chose someone to be Malleus' friend(Prefect🔥)-- with a little assistance from Levan if he's Crowley🐦‍⬛🐉
also inspired by that scene in Maleficent 2 where Maleficent was displeased about Aurora's engagement and the mini plan to just turn Philip as a goat cuz she thinks its better than a human--
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Thus,,, on the day of the Orientation...
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I like to imagine that this is Meleanor and Levan's dynamic ykyk its a nice callout to Maleficent and Diaval where Maleficent is dubious on Philip but Diaval is just supportive of Philip's proposal because it makes Aurora(in this case Malleus) happy 😭✨
I also like to imagine that Meleanor slowly opens up to humans like she isnt easily fond of them- so if you introduce one to her, you'll need to 'work' for it
so during those times where Meleanor still disapproves the Prefect and Malleus' dynamic... even though Levan and Lilia repeatedly confirms that theyre a green flag... they'll just annoy her like the annoying partners they are-- (also Lilia living the life‼️finally✨ he gets to bother Meleanor🔥(cuz she always bother him with her troubles lol))
Tumblr media
I really want other faes to react that Malleus first normal social experience was through a magicless human too‼️
they sheltered their prince out of humans (except for Lilia w/ Silver ehehe💖) but the first one to befriend him normally was a human too
like,,,, fr this nation is destined to get along with humans,,, no wonder Levan was trying to convince anyone to sign the peace treaty already 😭
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Baul reacting to MalleYuu and he's just having war flashbacks about his daughter eloping with her human husband whldhsk

On David Tennant and Aging
So, I’ve seen a lot of posts in response to Tumblr users’ habit of affectionately calling their favorite middle aged dudes “old men”, David Tennant in particular, saying things like “clearly you’ve never met an actual old person”, “omg you talk about these guys like they’re 80”, “please be normal about people aging”, etc. And on one hand, all of these statements are objectively right and true! But as someone who’s always been really fascinated by and found a lot of beauty in getting older (which I’ve explored in some of my writing on A03 because nobody else is going to do it for me), I’d like to provide a bit more nuance on how I think this label applies to David in particular.
David, obviously, in literal terms, is not “old”, at least not to me- I don’t personally consider people old until they get past 60. 52 is middle aged, simple as that. And yet, when I see David stuck with the “old man” label, it still somehow feels weirdly right, for a number of reasons.
It annoys me so much when people say David “hasn’t aged a day since Doctor Who”, because, well…
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He clearly has. A lot. He’s got forehead creases, deep crows’ feet and eyebags, and I think that post-Fourteen we’re gonna see him rocking the grey temples a LOT more. He also has the voice of an older man now, his upper range is still there but the default is much more deep and rich, with a gravelly, rumbling quality that just goes straight through you. I personally think Broadchurch was when David finally started to embrace looking his age- Alec Hardy just wouldn’t have been served by Ten’s fresh-faced boyishness.
Obviously, these are the kinds of changes you’d expect any 52-year-old man to have, but something about David just makes it all seem a bit more… intense? The expressiveness of his face combined with his almost gaunt frame makes his wrinkles very prominent, and when he works his voice to its emotional extremes, his lower register can sound positively ancient, to devastating effect.
David, I think, is someone with an old soul- I don’t think he could be as good as he is at playing ancient characters like Crowley and The Doctor if he weren’t. He has lived so many lives, given so much of himself to so many characters, often incredibly tragic ones, and I think it wears on him. David also has five kids. FIVE. Do you know how exhausting it is to be one of the hardest working actors alive and be a present, loving father to even ONE child? But David somehow does it anyway! Nowadays I see him and my heart breaks because he looks so tired, so weary and fragile. But he’s all the more beautiful for it to me because I know that that is because he is kind. He’s a deeply empathetic person who feels and lives to the absolute fullest, and that story is written so clearly on his face, along with every other story he has ever been a part of.
There’s other things about David that make the label endearingly fitting- his utter hopelessness when it comes to technology, for instance. And he’s just got that warm, wise, grandpa energy too sometimes- look at that above Fourteen picture and tell me I’m wrong!
I once showed my friend who’d only seen David in Doctor Who and Harry Potter a picture of David from Around The World in 80 Days. It was a particularly emotional scene, and his face had just the most beautiful expression of compassion and sadness, every wrinkle on full display. And she said, in a less than complimentary fashion, “he looks so old!” Which, of course, offended me quite a bit at first. But to me, referring to David as old almost feels like a badge of honor, something he’s earned by living fully and selflessly, working hard and being wise and compassionate beyond his years. I think David himself is secretly more than a little insecure about the fact that he’s getting older. There’s sadness behind every jovially self-depreciating remark he’s made about his age in the past year, particularly in comparing himself to Ncuti Gatwa. I know how much David struggles with his impostor syndrome and how people perceive him, and I can clearly see in his eyes the fear of being discarded, the anxiety he feels about if he’ll still be as loved as he was back in 2007 now that he’s closer in age to King Lear than he is to Romeo. So I hope David knows it’s a privilege to watch him grow older, to watch his soul and talents deepen with the crinkles around his eyes. If I, in my silly goofy tumblr girl-ness, call David Tennant an old man, it’s because it’s a label that suits him beautifully- even if it isn’t TECHNICALLY an accurate one yet.

What if yuu back at their world was a slave, therefore didn’t really have any rights- so in twisted wonderland with crowley telling them around they think its normal? That all he does IS kind- cause their last master didn’t do that back home (maybe even hit them- wounds all over their body? Is ok if not), and everyone is worried for yuu cause they dont ask for help, they dont fight anyone- they just let others tell them to do things- they don’t question crowley’s actions- maybe even think its allowed in twisted wonderland since no one had done anything about it either.
Concept + Scenerio
Background Back in their original world, Yuu was a slave—owned, used, discarded. Stripped of agency, affection, and freedom. The smallest kindness—like a master who didn't beat them that day—was something to cherish. Yuu learned to obey without question, never speak out, and always assume they were in the wrong. They never had choices. They never had the right to need.
So when they’re dropped into Twisted Wonderland, and the Headmage Crowley tells them to clean dorms or survive without a dorm, they don’t even blink.
They obey.
Scene: The First Real Concern
Yuu, that’s messed up,” Ace mutters, standing at the doorway to Ramshackle Dorm, arms crossed. “You seriously haven’t eaten today? You were at Heartslabyul cleaning toilets for five hours!”
Yuu blinks. “He told me to.”
“Crowley?”
Yuu nods.
“But... he just left. Didn’t even say thanks.”
Yuu shrugs, smiling gently. “It’s okay. I wasn’t punished.”
Deuce stiffens. “Punished?”
Yuu pulls down their sleeve instinctively, realizing they’d let a scar show. “He doesn’t hit me. That’s really nice of him.”
Silence.
Ace and Deuce stare.
Reactions From Others
Riddle notices how Yuu flinches at sudden loud voices—not because they’re scared of detention, but because they expect to be hit. He becomes uncharacteristically gentle around them.
Trey quietly begins leaving snacks at Ramshackle’s doorstep. He doesn’t bring it up, but watches carefully when Yuu eats them—like they’re afraid someone will take it away.
Leona, initially indifferent, is furious when he catches wind of Crowley’s "commands" and Yuu’s disturbing loyalty. “You seriously think he owns you?” he snaps—and when Yuu doesn't answer, just lowers their gaze and says "He feeds me sometimes," something inside him breaks.
Azul, the businessman, sees the signs too clearly. That kind of obedience can’t be bargained—it’s beaten in. He starts offering deals not for advantage, but to give Yuu choices. Even if they say no.
Idia avoids people, but he watches Yuu through Ortho’s reports. The first time he sees Yuu thank someone for yelling at them (genuinely thinking they deserved it), he asks Ortho to monitor them for signs of depression.
Vil begins guiding them with a firm hand, yes—but now with conscious intent: to teach them to say "No," to ask for what they need, to look in the mirror and see a person, not property.
The Breaking Point
Crowley once tells Yuu to clean the school’s chandelier—without magic. While balancing on a broken ladder. Yuu doesn’t question it. Of course they don’t. They're halfway up when their knees give out from exhaustion, and they fall.
The crash echoes through the halls.
Yuu wakes in the infirmary with everyone around them. Grim is sobbing. Professor Crewel is livid. Crowley is nowhere in sight.
“What were you thinking?!” Crewel snaps.
“They told me to,” Yuu whispers. “I had to listen.”
“You didn’t.”
Yuu looks confused. “But... he feeds me. He gave me this place. I owe him everything.”
“You don’t owe him pain.”
Healing Slowly
The realization doesn’t come overnight. Healing doesn’t come in one heart-to-heart. But:
Grim starts sleeping beside Yuu every night, growling at anyone who tries to order them around.
Rook begins teaching them gentle affirmations—“You are not property. You are prey worth protecting.”
Silver teaches them boundaries. Lilia teaches them freedom.

For the longest time, I thought I was cis. Not necessarily because I felt it deep down, but because I was forced to present as feminine as possible. My father, trying to counterbalance the whole "being gay" thing, made sure of it. I was supposed to look a certain way to fit into the "norm" he wanted to project.
Fast forward to 2020, when the world stood still, and so did my sense of self. Like many, I had a sexual crisis during lockdown, and a gender crisis hit right after. I went hyper-feminine, leaning into the only identity I knew. But suddenly, it became unbearable. I felt itchy, uncomfortable in my own skin. I found myself stealing my brother's clothes, hiding my long hair under a beanie. Some days, I loved being feminine. Other days, I relished the comfort of masculinity. And sometimes, I just didn’t care.
I didn't have a name for what I was feeling. I knew about being cis—it was the default, the norm. I had trans friends, and I knew about being non-binary from TikTok. But none of these labels seemed to fit me. I wasn't just one thing. I was everything. Then, a TikTok video introduced me to the term "genderfluid." It resonated. I liked the idea, but something still felt off. The only people I saw using this label were behind screens, with a seemingly magical ability to transform their appearance effortlessly. They could switch genders with such fluidity and grace—powers I didn't possess. I felt like I was on the outside, looking in.
Then, in 2021, everything changed when I watched Good Omens for the first time. And that’s when I met Crowley.
Tumblr media
At first, I didn’t quite grasp his whole gender vibe. But on a rewatch, it hit me like a brick. Crowley was like me. His fluidity, his complete disregard for sticking to one gender—it was exactly what I had been searching for. He didn’t fit into a box. He just existed, gloriously and unapologetically, as whoever he wanted to be in any given moment. And that was me.
Tumblr media
Crowley was the first genderfluid "person" I met, even if he was just a character. Seeing him on screen was incredibly validating. Up until then, I felt like a freak, confused and lost. But Crowley showed me I wasn’t alone or abnormal. He made me feel seen, understood, and normal. It was a revelation.
Crowley helped me embrace my identity without overthinking it. Just, you know, fuck it. Female, male—who cares? It was liberating. I owe that sense of freedom to him.
Tumblr media
To anyone struggling with their gender identity, feeling like they don’t fit into a neat category, I hope you find your Crowley. That moment of realization where you see yourself reflected somewhere and know you’re not alone. Because you’re not. We’re out here, existing and thriving, just like Crowley.

TINKER-Twisted Wonderland x Tinkerbell!Yuu/Fem!Reader Part 2
Part 1 Part 3
Tumblr media
⋆.ೃ࿔*:・[Name] was jolted awake by a gentle poke to her side.
“Mrggg…” The girl mumbled, rolling over.
“[Name], you need to talk to Headmage Crowley,” Lilia said, and at those words, the girl shot up, her head darting from side to side.
“Headmage Crowley?! Where is he?!” she exclaimed, confusion written all over her face.
“In his office. You need to see him right now while he’s not busy,” Lilia replied.
With that, [Name] rolled out of her makeshift bed and landed on the dresser. She stretched her wings out, feeling the need to wake up a bit more, and ran her fingers through her hair. To avoid drawing too much attention, she decided to stay in her smaller form. She turned to Lilia, who was busy gathering his supplies in his bag.
“Thanks again, Lilia.”
“Not a problem at all… Good luck!” he said.
With a quick nod, [Name] set off to find Crowley. She zipped through the halls, feeling like the school was a giant maze. Finally, she stopped in front of a door that looked significant enough. Peeking at the gap under the door, a grin spread across her face. She took a few steps back to gain momentum and—oh, she got stuck. Maybe she had overestimated the size of the gap. She could see Crowley right there too! Pushing against the door, she tried to wiggle free. With one last strong shove, she tumbled across the floor, fairy dust sparkling around her with every movement. Comically, birds circled her head as she transformed back to her normal size.
“Mr. Crowley, sir,” she paused to catch her breath, “I wanted to talk to you about staying at this school. Before you say anything, just hear me out. I can’t go back home right now. If I do, I’ll be stuck in a horrible house with older siblings who absolutely despise me in Fairy Hollow, a town that feels completely unfamiliar with a future that seems just as uncertain. Please, please, please let me stay!”
Crowley’s eyes widened at her outburst, and he let out an exhausted sigh. “You can stay under certain conditions. You’ll have an earlier curfew, must keep your grades above a B-, no tardies, and if you ever feel threatened, you’re allowed to use your magic.” [Name] lit up, her glow brighter than ever. “Got it! But what about my dorm and uniform situation?” she asked eagerly.
“That will be sorted out later. For now, get to know the school and your classmates,” Crowley said, pushing a magic pen towards her. With a smile,[Name] enthusiastically took the pen and bolted out the door.
. ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁˖ . ݁. ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁˖ . ݁
“Pfft. All it takes is a little gust to—Hah! Oh no! The Queen of Hearts's statue looks like it’s been flame-broiled!” Ace exclaimed, his cool demeanor crumbling as he took in the damage from the fight.
“Flame-broiled indeed,” [Name] replied with a mischievous grin, enjoying Ace’s misfortune.
“Where did you come from?! Why is there a girl on campus?!” Ace shouted.
“[Name]?” Grim and Yuuken chimed in unison.
“I go to school here, duh,” she said, sticking her tongue out playfully. “So, what’s going on?”
“It’s Ace’s fault for trying to divert my fire! He should’ve just let it burn you to a crisp!” Grim shot back.
“Who in their right mind would ever do that?!” Ace retorted.
“What’s happening here? Cease this at once!” Crowley called out, making his way over.
At the sound of Crowley’s voice, [Name] froze. She really didn’t want to get blamed for anything, so she did what she does best—she shrunk down. But of course, she wasn’t going anywhere; she wanted to see how this played out. It felt like one of those cheesy Tubi movies she used to watch for inspiration on her inventions.
“Oh no! The headmage!” Ace cried, panic creeping into his voice. It was only the first day, and he was already in deep trouble.
“Not more lashings of love! We gotta get outta here!” Grim, Yuuken, and Ace tried to make a run for it, but [Name] had other plans. Whipping out her magic pen, she tripped the boys with a vine, falling over in silent laughter. This school was going to be full of opportunities for mischief! As they stumbled, Crowley approached with a fierce expression.
“OW!” Ace yelped, clutching a bruised spot on his side.
“Myaaaaah! I’m still sore from yesterday too!” Grim complained.
“As if the likes of you could ever escape my wrath! Did I not just warn you about ‘no more incidents’? And now you’ve charred one of my statues?! It’s almost like you WANT to be expelled!” Crowley threatened.
Yikes… So glad I managed to dodge that bullet!
“No! Please forgive me!” Ace pleaded.
“Hahhh… I wish I had my phone on me. This would totally blow up on magicam,” [Name] said, rolling over onto her side and getting comfortable as she watched the chaos unfold.
Crowley shifted his glare to Yuuken. “And you! You were specifically told to keep Grim under control!”
“I tried to stop him, but…” Yuuken began, only to be interrupted by the furious headmaster.
“This is unacceptable. And you! State your name and grade.”
“Ace Trappola… Freshman,” Ace said solemnly, sulking so much that [Name] thought he might just sink into the floor.
“Then listen carefully, Trappola. You, Grim, and Yuuken will be punished for today’s antics. You’re all assigned to wash a hundred windows!”
“Myah?! This is what you get for making fun of me! It’s all your fault! And where’s [Name]?!”
[Name] felt the urge to storm over and help Grim clean those dirty windows, but she had to keep her wings down and play it cool.
“What? I have to do it too?!” Ace whined.
“Of course you do,” Crowley scoffed. “You’ll meet in the cafeteria after class. Are we clear?”
“Yes, sir,” Ace finally relented.
“Ugh, I can’t catch a break!” Grim groaned. “I’m already worn out from a full day of cleaning. I can’t believe we still have to wash a hundred windows.”
Yuuken, clearly annoyed, cut in to silence Grim’s complaints. “We just have to suck it up and do it. You didn’t help at all earlier anyway…”
That’s when it hit [Name]. Yuuken didn’t snitch on her when Crowley asked where she was. In a way, she owed him something, but she just didn’t know what. Then it clicked, and she snapped her fingers.
“I know!”
. ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁˖ . ݁. ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁˖ . ݁
With a sense of urgency, [Namel hurried toward the ramshackle dorm, logs of wood trailing behind her. All she needed now were some metal scraps, screws, and a bit of wood polish to get things rolling. As she turned the corner, her wings twitched—a telltale sign that something was about to happen. Maybe it would be wise to take a different route to the ramshackle. "Hey, hold up there! No fair getting a head start! Wait!" The unmistakable voice made [Name] shake her head in frustration. Of course, it had to be them.
Just as she was about to turn around, something knocked her to the ground along with the logs. "Outta my way!" a boyish voice shouted, fading into the distance. As she tried to get back on her feet, Namel stumbled over the logs in a rather embarrassing fashion. Her previously calm expression morphed into one of pure fury. She whipped around to see who was responsible for this mess—it was none other than Ace Trappola. Taking a moment to gather herself, she stood up, piled the logs together, and tied them securely. With a sprinkle of fairy dust, she made them float again. Taking a deep breath, she reminded herself that she couldn't deal with this chaos right now; she had to get to the mirror hall.
. ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁˖ . ݁. ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁˖ . ݁
"This is not good..." Ace winced, clearly feeling the weight of the situation.
"What am I going to do?! How am I supposed to break this news to my mom...?" One boy was in full panic mode, realizing he couldn't afford to lose his place at NRC.
"Well... there might just be a glimmer of hope," the headmaster chimed in, offering the students a ray of optimism. "There’s a slim chance we can fix this chandelier."
"Wait, really?!" The boys shouted in unison, their hopes lifted.
"The magestone that powered this chandelier was sourced from the Dwarfs' Mine. If you can find a magestone with the same properties, we might be able to make the repairs."
"Then I’ll go look for a magestone! With your permission, sir!" one of them declared, determination shining in his eyes.
"Just a heads up—I can’t guarantee that any magestones are still out there. The mines have been closed for quite a while now, so it’s possible that all the magestones have been mined already."
"I'll do whatever it takes to avoid getting expelled, sir!" the boy insisted, desperation in his voice.
"Hmmm... Alright then. I’ll postpone your expulsion for just one night. But if you don’t bring back a magestone by morning, then all of you are out." Crowley negotiated, setting the stakes high.
"I understand, sir! Thank you so much for this chance!"
"Okay, let’s get moving. We need to find a magestone and wrap this up," Ace said, his shoulders drooping as he let out a heavy breath.
"You can reach the Dwarfs' Mine instantly by using one of the gates in the Mirror Chamber," Crowley informed them.
"Yes, sir!"
"Why do I keep running into you guys...?" [Name] grumbled as she stood at the entrance of the mirror hall, eyeing the chandelier on the floor with a frown. "How do you always manage to get into trouble?!"
Yuuken simply shook his head, muttering, "Grim and Ace..."
"Hmph." [Name] replied, "Who's that, and why is he staring at me like I’m the elephant in the room?" She pointed at the boy who was looking at her with wide eyes.
"Maybe it’s because you’re the only girl in an all-boys school?!" Ace shot back, much to [Name]'s irritation.
"Shut it," she hissed, switching her focus back to the boy who looked completely taken aback. "What’s your name?"
"Deuce... Spade…" he managed to say, still looking a bit overwhelmed.
"Deuce?" she repeated, raising an eyebrow. "Please stop looking at me like that."
"Sorry!" he said quickly, before turning back to the boys.
"We can’t waste any more time. Let’s go! Dark Mirror! Take us to the Dwarfs' Mine!" Deuce urged enthusiastically.
"Huh?! Wait!" [Name] exclaimed, feeling herself being pulled into the portal. She desperately tried to grab onto the smooth floor, but her efforts were in vain.
. ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁˖ . ݁. ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁˖ . ݁
"So, this is the Dwarfs' Mine... A long time ago, it was overflowing with magestones," Deuce remarked, taking in the surroundings.
The girl rubbed the spot on her head where she had landed. "Are you serious right now?!" She quickly dusted off her pants, her wings twitching as they prepared her to take off back to campus.
"Where do you think you're going, insect?!" the cat called out, a hint of annoyance in its voice.
"Back to NRC," she replied flatly, not bothering to look back.
Just as she was about to launch herself into the air, she was suddenly tackled by a ball of fur.
"Get off me! How are you so heavy?!" [Name] struggled to push the cat off her.
"Nyah! You left us behind near those statues!" the cat exclaimed, indignation in its tone.
"That wasn't my fault, was it?!" [Name] crossed her arms defiantly. "But... I guess I can help you find the magestone. I could use a little adventure anyway."
"Look, everyone! I see a house over there. Let's check it out and see what the folks there have to say," Ace suggested, his shoulders slumping in a casual manner.
"Hello? Is anyone home...? It must be empty. This place looks like it’s been abandoned," Deuce said, glancing around.
"Bwah! I just got a spider web on my face! Ptchoo! Ptchoo!"
"Wow, these desks and chairs are tiny! Did kids live here? One, two... seven! It’s like a clown car in here," Ace joked, managing to elicit a giggle from [Name].
"When the mine was thriving, this house must have been a really lively spot," Deuce mused.
"Well, standing around here isn’t going to get us anywhere. If we want to find a magestone, we've got to go inside the mine. Let's head in," Ace declared, stepping out of the house.
"You want to go in THERE? It’s pitch black! Insect! You go first! You’ve got that weird glowing thing around you," the cat retorted, a hint of fear in its voice.
An irked expression crossed her face. "Wuss," she muttered as she stepped into the cave, her glow lighting the way.
"What, scared of the dark? Pathetic," Ace teased Grim.
"Myah?! I’m not scared of anything! I’ll take the lead! You all follow me!" Grim puffed out his chest and moved in front of [Name].
"Whoa, hold on!" Deuce warned the others.
"What now?" Ace asked, clearly annoyed.
"There's something up ahead!"
At that moment, [Name] felt a bone-chilling sensation crawl up her spine. Turning around, she gasped at the sight of a ghost, her wings instinctively spreading out as a defensive measure.
"Do make yourselves at home... You can stay forever!" the ghost rasped, a cold aura enveloping the cave as it spoke. More ghosts emerged from behind the first one.
"More ghosts?! They're floating around here too!" Ace stepped back, ready to defend himself with his magic pen.
"If we stop to fight, we’re never going to get anywhere. Let’s just keep moving," Deuce reasoned, trying to keep the group focused.
"Sure, but don’t act like we voted you as team leader. We’re here because of that ridiculous stunt you pulled," Ace shot back.
"Oh? I’m pretty sure this all started because you tried to dodge your window-cleaning punishment!"
[Name] listened to the boys argue, feeling her blood pressure rise. She just wanted to rip her hair out in frustration.
Yuuken watched [Name]’s face twist in exasperation. From what he had seen during orientation, he didn’t even want to imagine how she would react now. He cautiously covered his ears, bracing for her outburst.
"So, we’re digging up ancient history now? If we're getting into it, this all started when furball here torched that statue!" Ace pointed an accusing finger at Grim.
"Myah?! Maybe you shouldn’t have made fun of me, then!" Grim defended himself.
"SHUT UP!" [Name] snapped, startling the boys into silence. The cave echoed with her voice, and they could have sworn they heard birds fleeing from the nearby trees.
"Everyone, just calm down," Yuuken attempted to diffuse the tension.
[Name] scratched her neck sheepishly. "Sorry..."
"...iiivvv... ...oooouuu..."
"Huh?!" the group gasped in unison, fear creeping into their voices.
"Wh-where's that coming from? [Name], was that you?" Ace asked, his eyes wide.
"No! Why would that be me?” [Name] whispered, hugging herself tightly.
"...neeevvvaaa... ...iiivvv... ...ooouuu..."
Why did [Name] let herself get tangled up in this mess? Would she even make it out alive in time for her first day tomorrow?!
"Sounds like... it's getting closer..."
"Stooonesss... Stooonesss aaare miiiiine!"
"There it is!" Yuuken pointed out the looming monster.
"What is that?!" Deuce’s eyes widened in horror.
"Myaaah! No one said there'd be monsters! Let’s get outta here!" Grim tugged on Yuuken’s pants, panic in his voice.
"That thing is super creepy! But didn’t it just mention something about 'stones'?!" Ace exclaimed.
"Stooonesss... ...nevvva give stooonesss...!" The monster swung at the group, its movements threatening.
"So there ARE still magestones here!" Deuce concluded, his eyes gleaming with determination.
"Myaaah... Even as a master sorcerer, I... I don't think I can take that thing down!" Grim admitted, his bravado fading.
"Are you really a master then?" [Name] couldn’t help but tease the cat, even in such dire circumstances.
"But we need a magestone or we’ll get expelled! I’m going in!" Deuce charged toward the monster, ignoring the warnings.
"Are you out of your mind?!"
"You can't do this alone!"
But Deuce brushed aside their concerns. "I won't be expelled! No matter what!"
"Get lost! Get lost! Get loooost!"
Deuce cried out as the creature lunged at him.
"Oh no! Loosey-Deucey is in trouble! Not on my watch! Heeyah!"
"Oof!" Ace hit the ground hard, wincing in pain as his muscles tensed.
From the sidelines, [Name] struggled to contain a laugh, watching the boys get tossed around like rag dolls.
"Myaaah! Keep away from me!" Grim raised his paws in sheer panic.
"GRRRAAAWWRR!" The monster let out a fearsome roar.
"It's like nothing even phases it!" Grim shouted in disbelief.
"Did you just see that sparkle?!" Yuuken exclaimed, staring past the monster at a glimmering rock.
"Look behind the monster! There's something shining in the mineshaft!" Ace said, pushing himself up from the floor.
"Could that be a magestone?!"
"GWAAAAAAAH! Nooo, I won't let you take the stooooone!" The monster attempted another strike. [Name] flinched, that attack almost hit her.
"Yuuken, we need to get out of here, and fast! That thing's going to turn us into tuna paste!" Grim pulled Yuuken by the sleeve.
"Retreat!Retreat! Retreat" Yuuken called out to the others.
. ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁˖ . ݁. ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁˖ . ݁
"This should be far enough, right?" Grim panted as he rolled onto his back.
"Owww... What was that thing? No one warned us about something like that!"
"That was definitely not your average ghost."
"Let’s just give up and go home. I'd gladly take the expulsion if it means I never have to face that thing again." Ace sighed, resigning himself to the idea of leaving NRC.
"What?! No way, that's not happening! I'd rather face death than get kicked out of Night Raven! How can you give up when the stone is right there?" Deuce shook his head vigorously, refusing to back down.
"Pfft. Easy for you to say, considering you’re not even half the mage I am. If you want that stone so badly, go get it yourself. I'm out." Ace turned to walk away, but Deuce shouted after him.
"Oh YEAH?! Fine, just run back to your little coop, you big chicken!" Deuce taunted, momentarily breaking character.
"Whaaaaat?! Who are you calling a chicken, huh?!" Ace shot back, crossing his arms and stepping closer to Deuce.
"Whoa, Deuce... Did you just, like, totally change personality there for a second?"
"Huh?! Sorry... I lost my temper for a moment." He cleared his throat, clearly embarrassed.
"So, what do we do now?" Yuuken squatted down, looking to the others for guidance.
"Can't you guys just blow that thing up with magic?" Grim directed his question at Ace and Deuce.
"Can't you do something magical yourself?" Yuuken asked Grim, raising an eyebrow.
"The headmage said it himself... magic has its limits. If you can't visualize your magic clearly, it's not going to work." Deuce explained to Yuuken and Grim. "Using magic on a larger scale or trying different kinds of magic requires training."
"Exactly, that's why magic academies exist. It takes a ton of practice before you can just snap your fingers and make your thoughts manifest as magic. And the more flustered you are, the more likely you are to mess things up." Ace added in.
"So that's why Grim can only summon fire," Yuuken said, taking a jab at Grim's ego.
"Hey! Just you wait! I'm gonna learn to use way cooler magic than that! I'm just getting started!" Grim shot back at Yuuken.
"Anyway, we need to come up with a plan to defeat that creature and grab the magestone," Deuce reminded everyone.
"Yeah, just like last time with the chandelier, right? You 'found a way,' and now look where we are. We just fought that thing and it wiped the floor with us. So what's your grand plan, genius? Because I definitely don't trust you to wing it!"
"What?! You're the one who—"
"And here we go again," Grim sighed, realizing this was going nowhere.
"So, I guess we should all just get expelled then," Yuuken shrugged, sounding indifferent.
"What?" Ace and Deuce exchanged bewildered glances, taken aback by Yuuken's sudden defeatist attitude.
"Whoa, that was a bit harsh. Where did that come from?" Grim's eyes widened at Yuuken's unexpected demeanor.
"Why not try working together for a change?" Yuuken suggested earnestly.
"With Loosey-Deucey? No way! He'd get me killed!" Ace shot back at Deuce, dismissing the idea.
"Like I'd enjoy teaming up with you?!" Deuce retorted.
"What if we actually came up with a solid plan first?" Yuuken proposed.
Ace clicked his tongue in annoyance. "A solid plan? Like some buddy system? Are you kidding? You always say the most ridiculous things with a straight face, [MC]."
"Agreed. There's no way I can work with him." The blue-haired boy shook his head defiantly.
"Yeah, but... getting expelled on the first day? That's pretty lame too. Maybe even lamer." Grim pointed out.
Ace stuttered, caught off guard by Grim's comment, "W-well..."
"Yeah, there's nothing cool about that!" the black-haired boy added.
"Ugh... Fine. Let's just get this over with. All right, Yuuken. What's the plan?" The orange-haired boy asked, sounding resigned.
"Yuuken… Is this plan of yours really going to work? I'm scared—I mean, I'm a little... uh, hungry," the cat confessed.
"Then let's brace ourselves for the worst," Yuuken said with a hint of pessimism.
"Heh heh. That's not exactly encouraging! Keep it loose and lively! Let's do this!" Ace declared, pumping his fist in determination and flashing his trademark smile.
"Wait! I feel like we’re forgetting something..." Deuce said, deep in thought.
"That monster really must have done a number on you," Ace chuckled.
"Whatever!" Deuce shot ahead of Ace, ready to take action.

NRC Staff with Pregnant Yuu!
Suggestion from @donanimee
Okay, first things first, the odd man out we all hate: CROWLEY.
Now, to be fair, I don't think Crowley would be as bad to a clearly pregnant Yuu as he would to a normal student. Sure, he's still extremely negligent and utterly unaccountable, but he wouldn't give Yuu the same responsibilities (just to maintain the appearance of "someone kind helping a poor woman in a vulnerable moment").
Their interactions remain the same, though Crowley strikes me as the kind of person who treats pregnant women like big babies or as if they're dangerous due to hormones (and yes, he'll use the hormones excuse constantly), especially when Yuu gets mad at him and tries to demand answers. His response? Talking to her like she's a baby in the most frustrating way possible.
If Yuu is especially emotional (again, pregnancy hormones are no joke), Crowley will awkwardly try to comfort her, but he doesn't do much else to support her. Things like doctors, appointments, or clothes will have to be handled by Yuu. 2/10, don't ask for his help, it's the same as nothing.
Sam, on the other hand, is someone Yuu interacts with most often, whether it's for grocery shopping or just when she needs something from her shop. If Yuu goes to Sam's shop alone, he usually accompanies her to Ramshakle and helps her with her shopping (with the help of the shadows, of course). After all, he can't let one of his favorite customers hurt her back.
Sam also tends to "conveniently" have things on sale when Yuu comes shopping, things that make her life easier, ESPECIALLY if Yuu is short on money. Sam is more empathetic towards a pregnant Yuu, and therefore she has better opportunities to negotiate better prices with Sam.
If Yuu needs help with anything, she can ask Sam for help. With ANYTHING, she can ask for things like baby supplies, maternity clothes, etc. Think of it as an investment, free of charge. 8/10, recommended, but he's not available all the time.
VARGAS OH MY GOD. He does a complete 180-degree turn in his attitude toward Yuu compared to how he treats the other students. While the first-years have to do exercises worthy of Spartan warriors, Yuu does basic gymnastics. Yuu even ends up learning several Lamaze exercises thanks to Vargas! It's almost envious that Yuu can skip the hellish exercises, but Vargas doesn't seem to mind.
Even if Vargas isn't the smartest, he's someone who believes men should help women, especially pregnant ones! So he acts like a stereotypical gentleman with Yuu, opening doors, carrying heavy things, etc. And he urges the other students to do the same (if anyone causes Yuu any trouble, that means more hellish exercises).
Definitely helpful and very motivating, 10/10.
Trein is the one who most reproaches Crowley for his neglect of Yuu when he finds out about her pregnancy. His paternal instincts kick in, and he becomes Yuu's main emotional support. Trein can't imagine what it must be like to have a baby far from home, in an unfamiliar place, without your family to help you—it's almost a nightmare. And he won't let Yuu fall into despair.
Trein often comes to Ramshakle to check on Yuu, sometimes bringing food, sometimes even repairing some things in the dorm. If Yuu is in college or some higher education, Trein can give her some private lessons, and generally be there for Yuu when things get... dark. Yuu can afford to be more honest with Trein; he understands her fears and frustrations better than anyone, and he can reassure her that her emotions are valid and that everything will be okay.
Trein can lend her various things for the baby! he still keeps several things from when his daughters were little girls/babies; he could even give her a crib. Yuu could trust him with her baby any day. 10/10, highly recommended, just two parents who understand each other.
Last but not least: Crewel. He's much less demanding with Yuu, even turning a blind eye if he sees her struggling with the subject. Considering that Crewel's class is prone to...accidents, it's likely that even Divus implements some extra safety measures, especially as Yuu's pregnancy progresses. At some point, he even gives her a free pass to skip class and send him her homework from home, it's not worth the risk of Yuu and the baby getting hurt during class.
Did you see how he calls all the students Pup or Puppy? Well, he likes to call Yuu Top Dog! (This applies to all Yuu!Parents), he definitely thinks her diligence and motherly attitude toward the students is adorable, so he tends to go easy on her. Along with Vil, he's one of the ones who takes Yuu shopping for things like pretty maternity dresses (or comfortable shoes).
Yuu is one of the few students who has access to the potions cabinet in case she feels particularly ill due to pregnancy hormones (backache, headaches, vomiting, stomach aches, etc.). 10/10.
Conclusion: Ask any adult in this school for help, as long as it's not Crowley.

I am not sure if you have seen/remember abt the yandere purge AU. What if MC tries and sell the idea that in their world: yandere are more subtle and only has one day to "claim" their darling, World building stuff. Just an idea. Don't know if that makes it worse or better for the MC.
I have seen the yandere purge AU, and it does work in a yandereverse kind of AU. Obviously it would solve a lot of problems, and now darlings don’t have to live in fear everyday of the year, are going to be much less stressed, and less crime is committed overall.
I feel as if it could only work if the yandere’s didn’t outnumber the number of darlings and normal people, because then it feels like an event done to uphold the peace.
If the MC tries to sell the idea that this is a better way to have their darlings, then it’s more than likely going to catch on to the pro-darling rights areas like the Shaftlands and the Queendom of Roses. Those areas I imagine would have issues with certain crimes like murder, assaults and unlawful darling kidnappings.  So it would probably be able to catch on in those areas, because it's a more ‘civilised’ way of dealing with darlings.
Areas like the Afterglow Savanna and the Coral Sea are definitely areas where that won’t catch on. It’s common for crimes surrounding darlings to not be treated the same as the pro-darling areas unless it’s something severe like murder or violent abuse.
The Briar Valley believes its treatment of darlings is fair and just, the darlings are kept safe, and the entire process of claiming and connecting darlings with their yanderes is already considered civilised. So they’re disillusioned with how their crimes are considered bad. So it’s a no for them.
The Isle of Woe is a special case, the yanderes there rarely leave the Isle unless it’s to find their darlings, and the only people on the isle are the yanderes that already lived there and the darlings that were brought there. So it’s also a no.
But keep in mind one little detail even if every nation was to put this into practice, then imagine all the untold horrors darlings experience on that day. Yes, darling kidnappings and assaults would be high. But also consider that some of the yanderes might spend the day without laws ensuring their darlings have no one to run back to. Or in some cases, no one to chase them.
Murder would be high on that day, because yes, while it is a yandere purge, wouldn’t yanderes take the opportunity to get rid of some people that could later be threats.
Imagine the fear centered around that one day, that might as well be Valentine’s day, for all those poor darlings, trying to fight to protect themselves. All the yanderes fighting to get their darlings and slay their rivals.  And their families try their hardest to protect their darling kin and aid their yandere ones.
It would be better if you were the cause, you’d be able to prepare and plan. It would be worse if you weren’t.
If that was put into practice for the whole of TWST prior to  MC’s arrival, then maybe she would feel a lot safer. Because hey, it’s only one day that she’ll be in danger and Crowley’s going to find her way back possibly before that dreaded day. She doesn’t have to worry about endearing herself to them because she’s going to be back home before that day.
But as the days tick down, and the day of the purge draws closer you start to realise how screwed you are. And then one month before that day, over twenty of those horrible red letters come in the mail.
Each of them are different, some sweet and sappy like a love poem, others direct to the point about their plan of your capture, some are downright terrifying, incredibly detailed in either their plans, and about how no matter how hard you’d try to escape it would end in failure, or how they truly felt about their disturbing and obsessive love for you.
At that point, you’d realise how screwed you were.  It would be worse than you could ever imagine since you would have no idea of what to expect, or what they were capable of.
Either way, someone is going to lose. Whether it’s an easy loss or hard one, that’s just based on luck.

RIGHT, Good Omens folks, let’s talk blocking: the art of where you put your actors within the scene, in relation to others.
Season 1, Aziraphale is always on the right side, and Crowley is always on his left side. The only exceptions to this is in the Bentley, because of the steering wheel, and on the park bench during the switch.
Aziraphale expects Crowley to appear on his left too. At the Ark he still turns right when he feels an ethereal presence, only to turn left right away. Present day, when he’s eating sushi and Gabriel appears, he smiles, turns *left*, instantly realises it’s not that kind of ethereal visit, turns right with a bit of a panic.
Aziraphale right, Crowley left. Always. Right?
Season 2 switches this up. By a LOT.
It starts moment one in the coffee shop, blink and you’ll miss it: Aziraphale is sitting down, senses Crowley, *turns left*, only for Crowley to walk around the table *right*, and sit down. It’s a tiny moment, but it speaks so loudly on… well, Aziraphale’s assumptions. Which he has a lot of.
Everything is Meant. Douglas is too brilliant for this to be random. And it happens… so often?

I also find it very interesting that they added moments in history where Crowley is on the right side. Most particularly one where he definitely is *on* the moral right side. (‘Poverty is good actually’, really Aziraphale?)

Then there’s this scene, which, the Job flashback deserves a whole essay onto its own…
Tumblr media
Then there’s the the fact that Crowley is always on Shax’s right, and she is always on his left.
And then there’s this!
Tumblr media
Muriel is *always* on Crowley’s left.
It’s almost as if things aren’t as black and white as the system would want you to believe, ey, angel?
Bonus: Gabriel and Beelzebub start off their meetings on opposite sides of the table. They end sitting on the same side.
Anyhoo I love this show a VERY NORMAL AMOUNT please feel free, always, to scream at me about it.
