-> Chapter XXX ''First, you have to win with yourself''
Chapter XXXI ''Command''
They managed to extend the matter by two days, always something. However, Masters did not want to meet Visenya in Meereen, they suggested a place outside the city. During this time, she managed to send a messenger with a letter telling her army to keep quick pace, with a bit of luck they will be just at the time she needs them.
On the same evening that she finally managed to bathe, she went down to the catacombs, all alone. She wanted to see Rhaegal and Viserion, even if Tyrion had already freed them. But after opening the entrance, it turned out that there had been long since they destroyed the outer wall and escaped - something Tyrion didn't bother to tell her, or perhaps he was afraid to do so. She deserved it, but she hoped they hadn't run away for good and, like Drogon and Maelia, would eventually return.
In the meantime, she had to go to a meeting with the Masters and hope that everything would  go her way after all.
"I offered you peace a long time ago." Razdal, whom she once had the pleasure of talking to before she took Yunkai, was the first to speak. "If you weren't so arrogant, you'd be in your homeland right now, rich, with your entire fleet of ships. Instead, you will leave Slaver's Bay on foot, with only what you have on yourself, like the beggar queen you are."
She didn't even hide her annoyance, just rolled her eyes, openly showing what she thought about what he said. Is she arrogant? She would say she's naive rather than arrogant. And she definitely won't leave this place on foot, they can forget about it. When she does, she will leave the bay on a ship, leading her army to Westeros, most likely to Dragonstone, because they probably won't find a better place for their base.
"We're here to discuss the terms of surrender, not to exchange insults." Tyrion remarked, standing to her right.
They can insult her all they want, she doesn't take any of their insults personally.
"Conditions are simple." began the man standing to Razdal's right. She didn't know him, but apparently he was some Yezzan zo Qaggaz. There was another one, to Razdal's left, she was told that man was Belicho Paenymion. Well, nowadays it doesn't matter what they are called. "You and your friends from across the sea will move out of the Great Pyramid and leave Meereen and all of Slaver's Bay. The Unsullied you stole from Kraznys mo Nakloz will remain, and they will be sold to the highest bidder. The same goes for the translator you also stole from Kraznys. And the dragons you have will be slaughtered." she raised an eyebrow. How are they going to kill the dragons that are capable of devouring them whole?
"Something else?" she asked.
"We show you mercy. If you ever set foot in Slaver's Bay again, you will be crucified."
"Something else?" this time there was impatience in her voice. She didn't look defeated or worried about her life. In the Masters' eyes she must have been crazy, after all, they dictated the conditions, the city was at their mercy.
Or at least that's what they thought.
"No."
"Great." she cleared her throat, looking at all three of them who came to meet her. "I reject your conditions, and here are mine: You can choose the type of death." after these words there was silence. Now they thought she was completely mad and didn't take her words seriously, even though they instilled a bit of fear in them... "I gave you a chance, the opportunity to mend your ways, but you rejected it. This is the last act of mercy I can give you, and only because you brought ships here with you. I really need them. If the crew surrenders, they will be allowed to go."
The men looked at each other. Any sign of fear quickly disappeared and was replaced by amusement.
"I understand, it must be hard for you." said Razdal. "Getting used to a new reality is never easy. So I'll tell you straight... Your reign is over."
There was silence again for a moment before she answered. She looked somewhere behind them, at the view of the sea. She saw something there that she had been waiting for.
"Your reign is over." she emphasized the first word strongly. "My has just began."
She saw that he wanted to deny it, but he fell silent when he heard an inhuman screech in the distance. Yezzan turned first, followed by the other two men, and finally the soldiers. Several merciless moments of silence passed before they realized what was coming after them - or rather flying at them.
Drogon emerged from behind the rock, and his roar quickly spread through the air. At that moment, none of the Masters were convinced of their dominance over her, and when Drogon - who landed on the top of the rocky structure - was joined by Maelia, landing right next to Vis, fear completely took over their hearts.
They expected a weak city led by a woman with an army too weak to stop them, no ships, and dragons she couldn't control. They were confident of their quick victory and restoring Meereen to its 'former glory', but they had just come face to face with two beasts.
Not for long, though, because as soon as Visenya got on the white dragon's back, both creatures rose back into the air, heading towards the attacking ships, but that didn't make Masters' situation any better.
Vis knew that the situation was already taken care of with them, she gave appropriate orders to Tyrion and Grey Worm, they know what to do. Now it's her turn. From above she could see the entire city and fleet that was attacking it. She also saw two more dragons flying from the left side, from outside the city. Her heart immediately felt warm at the thought that Viserion and Rhaegal had not abandoned her. They were noticeably smaller than Maelia and Drogon, probably because she had left them locked up for so long. But that's nothing, now they are free, they have a whole life to live up to their siblings.
She couldn't burn all the ships if she wanted to take over the fleet. She just had to show who had the real power and she was sure that the ordinary soldiers would surrender, they had homes to which they certainly wanted to return.
The dragons stopped above one of the ships, which was clearly visible to the other attackers. They waited for her signal, not daring to attack without permission. Before she did anything, she held onto the spikes on Maelia's back tightly and looked out towards the city gates, where the Dothraki were approaching.
So we managed to do it...
She smiled to herself and looked back at the ship below them. The cruelty necessary to make the rest surrender.
"Dracarys." she said it in her Valyrian accent, in which the 'r' is pronounced so pleasantly to the ear. Seconds later, she saw how much strength she actually had.
Four dragons breathing fire simultaneously into one ship, sank- No... They completely destroyed it within seconds. It was a force that everyone had to reckon with, even herself. People will be more afraid of them than of her - unless they consider how she might use them.
Previously, she had not realized how much destruction dragons could cause. Therefore, it was hard for her to imagine how terrible the war between Rhaenyra and Aegon had been, how terrifying was the battle in which Aegon the Conqueror and his sisters used all three dragons, how quickly Aegon and Visenya had been able to burn Dorne after Rhaenys' death...
On the one hand, the flames gave her a kind of strength, self-confidence and a sense of control over everyone, but on the other they terrified her. It terrified her that she could conquer the Seven Kingdoms as quickly as burn them.
Fire and blood.
* * *
A few days have passed since peace finally returned to the city. Tyrion was right, the citizens loved her, even though she was gone for a long time and couldn't defend them. Now everything was back to normal, especially since there was no external threat anymore.
She captured one hundred and ninety-six ships from the fleet that attacked Meereen and an additional one hundred and thirty that were docked in the ports of Yunkai and Astapor. She ordered more ships to be built, but she had no illusions that it would take long to build all the rest she needed. Very long. But maybe she won't have to build so many of them at all.
"Your Grace." at the sound of ser Arthur's voice, she immediately turned away from the map spread on the table. "Theon and Yara Greyjoy await an audience."
Once again in the pyramid, she abandoned her Dothraki clothes and her body was once again covered with delicate silk, but not in white, but in black and red, Targaryen colours, and besides, somewhere in her new outfit there was always that famous clasp that belonged to a beautiful, blue-eyed boy...
After this change of colors in her style of dressing, she also noticed that the citizens were trying to follow her also in matters of fashion, because they were more and more willing to wear 'her' colors, and only a few people wore white - the Queen despised it, so it was no longer fashionable.
She had observed the same thing once in King's Landing. Women tried to do their hair and dress like Cersei, and when the Tyrells came to the city after the defeat of Stannis at the Blackwater, it was Margaery who began to set the trend. She never had a chance to talk to her, she guesses they didn't want her to have any contact with the Tyrells as she was Tywin's bargaining chip.
"Greyjoy?" she frowned, remembering what she knew about this family. Rapists, thieves, kidnappers... A bad opinion, but since they traveled all this way to meet her, it's worth listening to them.
"They have ships with them." he shrugged, but it was clear from his smile that he said it just to tease her a little.
"Don't tease me anymore about the ships." she rolled her eyes and left the table, still holding the goblet of wine in her hand. "It'll do you good." she pressed the goblet into his hand even though he had already told her many times that he does not drink.
But can you refuse the Queen? Just like you couldn't refuse a prince...
"Any word from Varys?" she asked, walking past him and towards the door. He followed her as soon as he drank what was left in the cup.
"Nothing. But I sincerely doubt he would betray you."
"I was told he sailed to Westeros to look for allies for me, but so far there is no them or him. Nor any letter, nothing." she sighed quietly.
She didn't want to believe that he had already betrayed her, it would be stupid. He wouldn't risk his life coming here with Tyrion only to leave and never come back, it wasn't like him. Although she would prefer to hear from him to know what is going on within her own ranks.
"But I think the same way you do." she added quickly. "Has he always been like this? Officially, he serves next and next rulers, but in reality he does whatever he likes. We both want to help people. I won't be able to change their lives if he doesn't trust me and stop doing things behind my back."
"You don't trust him either." he noticed.
"I trust you, Grey Worm, Missandei, Daario... That's enough for me." she smiled. She never thought she would have so many friends in her life. Lo and behold, the card has turned. "I have to think about Tyrion. And Varys still has a long way to go to earn it."
"Funny, I have a feeling you two think the same way about this."
She rolled her eyes. She didn't answer and they walked down the stairs in silence, heading towards the audience hall. Recent events flashed through her thoughts and she began to think about herself: if she had done something differently, would she have avoided certain unpleasantness...?
"Am I naive?" she asked unexpectedly. "Be honest."
"You are young-"
"So yes." she interrupted him. She didn't want to hear the evasive answer she expected. Even though Arthur had something else in mind.
"That's not the point." he started. "You are an idealist, you want to change the world, it's very noble of you and I think you will succeed. But... You tend to see the world as better than it is."
And I'm afraid that in the end it will hurt you so much that you won't be able to recover - he didn't tell her, but thought that.
In his eyes - despite a few deviations - she was too good for this world. He still remembered how she held a man who had lost a child and cried at her feet, and that memory would remain with him for the rest of his life. What ruler would treat his random subject this way?
It was impossible not to respond to her smile, especially since her eyes were smiling too. Eyes that he knew so well, and yet there was something new in them that her father didn't have.
No matter what it was, her whole person made him want to protect her at all costs. He would love to spare her all the sorrows in this world, so that she would remain that joyful, good gi-Woman. Unfortunately, this is not possible, but he will do his best to help her stay on the path she has chosen.
"I am a realist." she disagreed with him.
"You wanted honesty."
"And I appreciate it."
She smiled gently, they were just entering the audience hall. Tyrion and two people whose faces she didn't recognize yet were already there,  they were probably Yara and Theon Greyjoy, mentioned by ser Arthur. She walked up the stairs and sat down in her seat, instinctively keeping her back straight. As you can see, the whole hours of practice paid off, she didn't even have to think about straightening herself and holding her head higher.
"The last time we saw each other was at Winterfell, wasn't it?" she looked out of the corner of her eye at Tyrion, who asked this question while looking at the boy. So they already know each other... "You were joking about my height. At least that's how I remember it." there was irony in this sentence, he remembered perfectly what it was like then. "Anyone who makes a joke about dwarfs thinks he's the only one who did it. 'High Lord', 'Peasant Like an Oak', 'Man of Great House'. You do the same five or six jokes."
"It was a long time ago." Theon replied briefly, but he didn't look as confident as his sister. More like someone... Broken.
She was going to interrupt them, tell them that she didn't come here to listen to them recall their old disputes, but she thought that she might learn something interesting from this exchange.
"Yes. And how has life been for you since then? Not very well, I assume, otherwise you wouldn't have murdered the Stark boys." hearing this accusation, she quickly moved her gaze to Theon.
"I did not do that. But I've done things that are just as bad or worse."
"And he paid for them." his sister finally said.
"Is that so? He's still alive." Tyrion replied to her before turning his gaze back to Theon. "It must have been hard for you, growing up in Winterfell, never really knowing who you are."
Involuntarily she thought about herself. She didn't know this boy, she didn't know what he had done and what he had experienced, whether she should punish him or whether fate had already done that. But she knew something else: on some level, she understood him. Growing up and not knowing who you are, feeling like you don't belong anywhere. Now she knew how much she was worth and who she was, butback then it wasn't so easy.
"But who among us has an easy life?" Tyrion continued.
"This is not the time or place for such conversations." Visenya finally spoke up. "You came to Meereen and asked to meet me, so I guess you have something to offer?" she asked, even though she had long ago guessed that these were ships, and she certainly wouldn't despise them.
"One hundred ships of the Iron Fleet, with their crews." Yara said.
"What do you want in return?"
"For you to support my claim to the Salt Throne of the Iron Islands."
"Your?" She raised an eyebrow. "Not his?" She nodded at Theon. "No offense, just... I know people tend to think that men have more rights to the throne than women."
"I am not fit to rule." replied the boy. She used to think the same about herself and was about to say it, but again, she noticed what condition he was in.
"At least we agree on that." Tyrion interjected, and she gave him a look that told him to be a little nicer, to put their feud aside until later, because she didn't want to listen to this.
"So the Iron Islands will have a Queen. Has this happened before?"
"And did whole Westeros ever had a Queen?" Vis smiled at this answer.
This point could be argued, as Rhaenyra was called the half-year queen, although in historical books she was called a princess. So she decided to ignore the issue and move on with the conversation.
"Why did you decide to come to me with this?"
"Our uncle, Euron, has returned home after many years of absence. He murdered our father and took the throne from Yara. He would have killed us if we hadn't escaped." Theon explained.
"I'm sorry." she said, referring to the fact that they lost their father. "But I've heard a lot about how your father was a terrible ruler."
"He was." Yara agreed. "Just like the Mad King, like Robert, like Joffrey, and like Tommen. It seems you and I are trying to break this tragic streak."
A smile appeared on her lips again for a moment. Yara was right, in recent history it was difficult to find a ruler who deserved respect and admiration. Change is coming, very quickly.
"Four hundred and twenty-six ships are still not enough to transport my entire army."
"If our friend's expedition is successful, you will be able to transport everyone across the Narrow Sea in two trips." Tyrion replied, making her wince a little when she heard him call Varys 'their friend'. But the truth was that it was better to have a hundred ships than not. "I believe there were more than a hundred ships in the Iron Fleet."
"There is, and Euron is building even more of them. He's going to offer them to you." Theon responded to Tyrion's 'allegation'.
After what she had learned about Euron, she had never thought for a moment that she could wait for his offer, even if it was more advantageous for her.
"What will he want in return?"
"He wants..." the boy started, but didn't finish. He looked down and obviously didn't know how to express what he wanted to say.
"I think he said he wanted to give you his big cock." Yara expressed it directly. So she already knows that this Euron doesn't take her seriously, well, better for her. It's always easier to defeat someone who doesn't see you as a threat. "You see, Euron's offer is also an offer of marriage."
"You don't demand any marriage to strengthen our possible alliance?"
"I never make demands, but I'm open to everything." Visenya had never been attracted to women, but she couldn't help but smile at this answer. She felt that she would get along with Yara without any major problems and was already more willing to agree to this alliance.
"He murdered our father and he would have murdered us too. He would kill you too as soon as he got what he wants: Seven Kingdoms."
She nodded at Theon's additional words. But something didn't quite feel right for her yet. They asked her to support Yara's claim to the throne of the Iron Islands. So this means they don't want all of Westeros?
"You don't want the Seven Kingdoms?" she asked with a note of suspicion in her voice. It's rare to find people who don't want as much power as they can get.
"Your ancestors defeated ours and took the Iron Islands. We are asking you to return them." Theon asked her. He didn't demand, he asked. Usually, only common people asked her for things, and those of higher birth demanded that she give them something, as if it was their right that no one could question.
And he asked her. Humbly, without pride. She wished she could be guided by her heart, but she had to give way to reason.
"I don't have them yet, I can't give you something I don't have." she explained evasively.
"But you will, even if you look not at the army, but at the dragons, it's obvious." Yara noted, apparently not buying her short answer, which said nothing about whether she would be willing to give up these lands.
"If everyone starts demanding independence, eventually you won't have any land left to rule, Your Grace." Tyrion spoke up again, drawing attention to an important matter.
If she allows one Kingdom to be independent, the others will also make such demands and she will not be able to refuse them, after all, are the Iron Islands better than - let's say - the North, if only they deserved independence? Visenya would be willing to give these islands to Yara completely, but this was politically impossible.
"They are not demanding, they are asking." she sighed as she said this. She raised her hand to play with the clasp that held the two pieces of fabric together between her breasts. She was looking for a solution that would keep them with her, but at the same time would not force her to give up those lands. "I cannot fulfill your request. At least not now." she got up from her seat and slowly started walking towards Yara. "You will support my claim to the Iron Throne and accept the integrity of the Seven Kingdoms. No more looting, assaulting, robbing and raping."
"It's our way of life."
"Not anymore, if you want to gain independence within two or three years." she stopped in front of her. "We won't build a better world out of bad habits, and that's my goal: Leave world a better place than I found it. If you show that you also strive to change the world for the better, I will allow you to secede from the Crown." when she finished speaking, she held her hand out, waiting to see if Yara would accept her offer.
There was silence for a moment. She was sure that her offer would be rejected and they would go back to square one, but then she felt a grip on her hand.
"Not anymore."
And so she gained another hundred ships for her fleet and the first family to support her claim to the throne.
* * *
"Wisely, you gave them something without giving anything."
In the evening she sat with Tyrion, drinking wine in her chamber. Everything had already been repaired and there was no trace of the bullet that fell through the balcony. From this height, she had a clear view of the harbor where all her ships were docked. She was happy every time she stood on the balcony and looked at the whole city, which finally had no problems. After so many hardships, Meereen was recovering, as were Yunkai and Astapor, from what she heard.
She'll have to think about renaming the bay, after all, it can't be called Slaver's Bay anymore.
"What choice did they really have? I would let them go, but what would they do? Fight against me?" she accepted the goblet from him, but didn't drink anything yet. "If they don't try anything, after some time I will give them the freedom they desire."
"'After some time' is a very general term." he noticed, drinking half of his wine at once, but she didn't say anything about that. Instead, she decided to change the subject, because she felt that if she were completely honest with him, they would quickly start arguing, and she didn't want to ruin her evening.
"Years ago, would you think..." she began, finally dipping her mouth into the alcohol. "Would you think that one day we will land in such a place? With such an attitude towards each other?"
"I expected to end up in some strange place, but you... No. How did you escape? I didn't have a chance to ask."
She didn't like going back to it, but she didn't want to dismiss the question. The biggest problem for her was that she knew what kind of relationship the Lannister brothers had, and she perfidiously took advantage of Jaime. She didn't regret it and would do it again if she had that choice again. She did it for herself and her future, and she won't apologize for something she thinks is - in some way - right.
She wondered how to say it while omitting the uncomfortable part, but then salvation came to her. Missandei entered the chamber and handed her a rolled piece of paper, saying that an anonymous letter had come to her.
She had a feeling she knew who it was from.
She immediately unfolded the small letter and began to read, after a while biting her lower lip slightly, and then even smiling a bit to herself.
"So? What's that?" she could have expected curiosity from Tyrion, after all, he always liked to know what was going on.
"Tell ser Arthur and Grey Worm, that we are starting preparations to sail to Westeros." she said to Missandei before revealing anything. "It seems your friend is finally starting to do something I can like him for."
The letter contained information from Varys, mainly that Dorne and the Tyrells would side with her and were sending ships to Essos. And it's enough that she will be able to transport most of the army in one trip, and the second one will only consist of about three hundred ships.
In addition, she learned the most important news from the country: There are riots in the capital due to the blowing up of the Sept of Baelor - and thus an attack on the faith of the majority of Westeros - and that the Starks have retaken Winterfell and declared the independence of the North.

I'm ramming my head against my metal cage at all your WIPs!!! Can we get a synopsis or paragraph about each of them!?!!
Lol ok I guess I can give you all a little taste lol
The Twinkie Experiment
Basically this is a one off Ghostbusters x Reanimator breeding kink fic because I am self-indulgent and I have a HUGE thing for both Egon Spengler and Herbert West..... Do with that information what you will 😏
Cardinal Terzo Smut
I mean does this really need explanation lol. It's a short snippet about Terzo when he was a Cardinal with a very lucky Sister of Sin.
Against His God
OK NOW THIS IS WHERE IT STARTS TO GET MORE INTERESTING.... I am not 1000% sure if this will be a short fic, a one off, or if I will blow things up and make it a long multiple chapter fic, but basically this one features Secondo who is in love with a Sister of Sin. While they are deeply in love Secondo has trouble committing until he finds out that the Sister has been chosen to be Lucifer's Prime Mover in order for him to father the Antichrist (Lucifer choosing to take human form to perform the task). Secondo doesn't want this to happen and the two of them try and flee and stop Lucifer from consummating his plan with Secondo's lover.
What We Do in the Dark
Dracopia snippet fic with some blood, sex, and romance.
Something Special
This is a short chapter fic involving Special Ghoul and his wife trying to conceive a child. Here is the summary: After Special does an interview with a young child for Meliora, he realizes something is missing from his life. When finally returning home, he decides to find out if his happiness is worth putting his wife Adrienne at risk.
Lioness (Follow up)
This is a follow up to my fic, My Lioness, in which Copia and Cirrus are together and have a child.
Glitter Wasn't Gold
Papa Nihil multiple chapter fic telling the story of the conceptions of the Emeritus brothers and his relationships with the women who bore them.
Lia and Copia Sequel Snippet
This is a follow up fic with Papa Copia and his Prime Mover Rosalia as they welcome their second child. Based around fic, The Cardinal's Prime Mover, which was my very first fic I wrote for the fandom.
On the Edge of Tainted Lace
Copiiia x Prime Mover fanfiction. This is based on an alternate universe where Copia and Terzo ARE NOT related in any way shape or form.
Over His Head
Copia is going to be a Dad and his lover is trying to tell him but it doesn't click at first. It's for an ask I received here so coming soon!
Genshin Impact ask
This is a start to an ask involving the Papas and Genshin (not much at this time).
Copia and Saccharine Wedding
This is a follow up for my friend @sistersaccharine for her OC Sacchine and Copia's wedding which will also be coming soon.

Thank you @thus-spoke-lo for the tag in this fun self-recommendation game! I always feel a bit awkward posting reminders and announcements when chapters are ready for reading, but I'll take a moment to hype myself and the words of my labor up. Here are my 5 favorite things I've written so far!
Tumblr media
What's the Magic Word? - So I love how One Piece is this giant fantastical world where pirates are a real threat and mermaids, dragons, and magic quite literally exist. I thought it was odd that there wasn't a witch character at all, especially with how well it would fit into the universe, and what type of role/responsibility power like that would look like. Rowena my baby was born. It's everything I've ever learned while practicing the craft, enjoyed seeing in pop culture media, and inspired by cultural lores that I participate in or have great respect for. I wanted to create a character that could believably exist in the One Piece world and then have her do a bunch of fun and cathartic things (that may or may not be a reflection of real life). Falling in love with Eustass Kid was not on my radar (is falling in love ever?) - in fact the first draft of the story didn't have the Kid Pirates at all. Nope, just my witchy girl and the Straw Hats having adventures. Then I got to the Sabaody Archipelago and I saw him. I thought it would be fun to put these characters in a situation where they weren't friends or enemies but rather temporary witness protection body guards with a powerful ass witch as their protectee. Plus the smut. Love the smut and romance always. Its my first writng project I've done since college and I'm so happy to be back in the writing sphere. This book will have a sequel :)
Turn Back Time - This was a random dream that turned into a 20+ multichapter fic and I'm not even mad about it. In this one I took a fun approach to the story by centering it not just on the OCs but the Kid Pirates themselves. My first fic didn't really acknowledge many of them until the editing stage but this fic is entirely about the Kid Pirates and what it's like being in their crew. Especially as the love interests of some of the scariest, beefiest dudes that end up just being touch-starved men who are fully capable of vulnerability and love. It's been fun and I am excited for the upcoming themes and trials they'll go through! There will only be the one book but it will follow the journey of the Kid Pirates up until the very recent events in the manga.
At First Sight - this was a one shot that turned into a mini-series and I surprised myself with how much I packed into it. I didn't want to or expect to make it into a series but after giving it maybe a whole day's worth of thought and effort, I feel like I pulled a pretty good fic out of what was originally a stand-alone porn trope collab story!! This one is also on the Kid Pirates cause they're my comfort characters and again its been a fun way to put a spin on these murderous pirates when they're engaging with someone who's neither foe nor friend. Not a frenemy but a familiar with benefits! I lowkey based Y/N's badassery on Beidou from Genshin Impact.
KillerCook - I saw a hot dude make brownies on Instagram and thought 'what if Killer.' That's it. I wasn't sure how I was going to present it so I settled for creating a social media experience and I'm pretty sure I delivered. I'm a Kid Pirates loyalist, if you want something else you can check my Swampstew Bedtime Stories but my bread and butter are these anarchist psychos. Now comes with accessories such as: baker's hat and apron, and also a set of gold body piercings! The response has been supportive and excitable, and it's inspired me to do another modern social media influencer monetization fic, coming soon 😏 on Friday actually!
Oh Yandere! series - I wanted to give myself an opportunity to play around with some dark content and found myself really enjoying it. Especially in the noncon/dubcon vein. I've been too meek to do anything more than head canons but I have recently been inspired to explore some truly deplorable characters if I pick this series up again. If not, I might do a short series on Yandere Eustass Kid that has some...inspiration from another popular fandom that may or may not piss some people off. ANYWAYS! Live Laugh DarkContent
Tagging for funsies but def no pressure - I just think every author should get a chance to fluff themselves up and talk about their works that make them proud!

Chapter 1 - Departure (I)

Fic summary: The second arc of my Armitage Hux x OC fanfic, “chocolate cookies and tarine tea”, in which both need to deal with the mess they got into (and each other, eh eh eh). A/N:     Hello dear, it's been a while! I wasn’t actually planning on publishing yet (I still need to finish up the header and the last scene) but after attending star wars celebration I am so high on Hux again! As an extra, I'm also uncharacteristically impulsive. This is not going to end well, ah ah ah.
Arc 2 has been written, up till some very *interesting * scenes! The whole thing got out of hand a bit, I already have almost 23k words for part 1 of this arc (part 2 will follow with the same amount, but still working it through) I should be able to more or less update on a regular basis for the next 11 chapters now, since I only need to review them!
Because I know some of you have read arc 1 a good while ago, let me give you this short recap: Hux, Miko and PC just left Utapau Four and are heading to Taris, so they can obtain the coördinates to the Resistance base. Hux has been in a stressful and frustrated mood (at least, more than usual), while Miko is gloomy from trying to deal with her new reality: she might not be able to return to her home for good.
Get ready for a whole whirlwind of (mis)adventures.
Armitage was looking to the everlasting hyperspace clouds, as if he was paying attention to it for the first time in his life. If Miko wanted to start a conversation - which she certainly didn’t - his intense gaze would've stopped her from doing so. She wondered what he was thinking, looking so serious and focussed on the void ahead.
This time however, she mused, the silence didn’t feel loaded and somehow had turned into something comforting. They had an actual plan and could focus on the upcoming mission. Everything was more or less under control.
Miko felt like she finally had the time to study her companion. From the seat she was in, she noticed he was frowning deeply, and she could guess by that serious stern look on his face, he was thinking about the current bantha poodo he was in.
She sat back in the co-pilot 's chair while keeping an eye on his side profile. She knew by now he had done some horrible things - based on her father's reaction - although she didn't know the exact details.
Thinking back to the way he introduced himself to her with so much flair, his previous position within the military must’ve meant everything to him. The First Order was probably the only life he knew. And she doubted one could become a general by playing along nicely, so he probably has done and sacrificed a lot to get in that seat.
Still, he betrayed all that. For what?
Her mind wandered back to the time he miraculously woke up beneath her, onboard the Steadfast . She really was convinced he was dead at the time. She could remember the shock she felt, when she unceremoniously had fallen down on his limp body. But the memory was blurred by the storm of emotions and adrenaline she went through that moment.
Did I really somehow… revive him, like he said? How could that be even frigging possible?
The girl looked at her hands and slowly turned them around, trying to see if something happened if she tensed the muscles in her fingers.
Of course, it was to no avail, making her wonder if he was just making things up for some obscure reason. But why would he do that?
Nothing made sense these past days . The chaos, violence, the unexpected get-away, everything was wearing her down.
She slowly looked back to the ex-general and noticed how his jaw was slightly moving.
Was he grinding his teeth… again ?
At this moment, she was absolutely positive this man was full of frustrations and looking at the bags under his bloodshot eyes and his pale skin, the stress was eating him slowly but surely.
She closed her eyes. If she was not going to stop paying attention to him, she was going to start getting worked up as well, and that wouldn’t help them any further.
After a short pause, Miko felt relatively at ease again and decided to follow Hux’ gaze, so she started staring at the hyperspace clouds as well. They were somehow enchanting, the slight rotation of the ship making the clouds swirl and giving the space outside a dreamy aura.
Honestly, right now, this all felt like a bad dream. She had always wanted to leave Utapau Four behind, and she used to fantasise about steering her own ship, drifting through hyperspace, from system to system. Seeing the most beautiful parts of the galaxy. Looking for a place with more purpose to land.
She once wished for adventure, but now, the sting of hastily having to say goodbye to her father, maybe for good, was reminding her that she wasn't living her dream. This was all too real and absolutely not how she wanted to leave her home behind.
She felt the urge to cry slowly rising from her chest, but she refused to give in to those feelings, especially around that pompous manipulative asshole. She gulped and kept her head down, trying to find tranquillity once again.
Only a few seconds later, she noticed a small but very irritating noise originating from the left. She looked back at Hux, who was now grinding his teeth so loud she could hear it from her seat and it was not helping her current emotional state.
Kriff.
‘Could you please stop doing that?? It’s not good for both your teeth and my headache’, she said, grumbling, only then realising she was again talking before thinking things through.
This frigging bastard had almost choked me to death, if it wasn’t for PC , she hastily reminded herself, cold sweat appearing on her backside.
But the next thought that entered her worked up mind, were those glassy eyes again. Almost instantly she felt her cheeks go red, betrayed by her own thoughts, so she swiftly diverted her attention to the other side of the shuttle and gulped. She sincerely hoped he wouldn't turn around and see the blush under the dim light.
Unfortunately, Hux decided to redirect his energy from destroying his teeth to destroying any hope for a normal conversation, and he slowly faced her.
‘Just who do you think you’re talking to?’ he replied with a low voice, giving her a dangerous look, as if she had done something extremely rude. Her body already involuntarily responded to his words and made her turn her attention back to him, momentarily forgetting the blush and trying to process his rude comment.
Was this the tone he normally used when a subordinate had messed up pretty bad? she absently considered, trying to find a way to explain that this reply was somehow socially acceptable in Worst Order context.
But, despite trying to negate the brusqueness in what he just said, she could not get rid of the feeling that he was intimidating her, that was for sure. And, combined with the reason she had been blushing before, he was tearing her apart with these most confusing thoughts.
Right now, under his persistent, piercing gaze, she felt like she couldn’t breathe easily, feeling mixed emotions of anger, inadequacy from her part (and for what? He didn't have anything to expect from her), getting slightly terrified and some other burning feeling from her abdomen. One that matched well with her pink cheeks.
She abruptly closed her mouth and looked away with a defying glance. There was no good verbal response she could come up with, especially since she felt like he turned her into a mess so easily.
This was a conversation she wouldn’t take any further, because it was going to end in the both of them shouting again, and maybe worse.
The next few seconds, her discomfort only escalated further into distress. Miko felt like she was walking on thin ice, scared to accidentally provoke him. Not that she was convinced there were any actual triggers, but the thought of his hands around her throat tended to do that to her. So, she decided she didn’t want to stay in the same room with him any more and left the cockpit without a word.
Armitage watched Miko’s back when she retreated from the cockpit. He made notice of her posture, which wasn't reflecting her usual defiance. Unlike their other unfortunate encounters, she looked a bit resigned but mainly confused, most likely too emotionally disturbed to be thinking clearly. Her face looked a bit worked up, too.
Thinking back on what he just said to her, he may have been overreacting due to his train of thoughts. She didn't actually say something offensive, although it was much more straightforward than any other conversation he has had in the past years.
Taking into account that she already looked off, he hoped she wasn’t going to do anything stupid because of his response.
Given her mood though, he opted not to go after her, and wait in the cockpit a little longer. The atmosphere was already loaded enough and he wasn't looking forward to more energy consuming drama or useless fights.
He automatically turned his attention back to the hyperspace void in front of him and picked up where his thoughts were left, before her intermission.
The stress started eating at him again. He wasn’t used to having time for anything, and now he sat there, waiting, counting the hours before he was to be delivered to the enemy, at his own suggestion, no less.
Was he going to be able to break Ren? How much more did he need to give up so he could remove that idiot, who knocked him from his ambitious trajectory? Is it all going to be worth it and what's going to be left of the First Order in the end? Will there be a chance for him to start over and get in charge again?
There had to be, it was the only life he knew. He had been there, only a little five year old boy, when the Order rose from the ashes of the Empire. So many sacrifices, harsh decisions and risks were taken to become what they were. He personally had pushed himself to the limits, over the limits, sometimes to the brink of insanity, to achieve greatness for the First Order.
His mind wandered further,  thinking back about the choices he made, the career path he chose and pushed himself forward for.  The way he crawled up to the chain of command.
Yes, corruption was within their ranks. He wasn’t clean of those tactics either, but that’s part of the game. He learned those tricks from his father.
Armitage grimaced at the thought of the latter, and how he made sure the younger Hux understood his teachings.
There’s no way one could keep his hands clean in achieving leadership. But at least, he knew how the giant war machine worked, something Ren lacked. They all underestimated him, they didn't understand how far he was willing to go and up till now that had always worked in his advantage.
The empire had shown that a strong hand was imperative to attain peace, but it was too flawed. And with insane emotionally unstable idiots like Ren at the top, the First Order was risking the same end. Something had to be done.
But, after literally leaking the Emperor's message to the resistance and letting high ranked resistance members escape, will he ever be able to seize command? Maybe he did go too far, this time?
He didn’t have many allies left. Phasma perished as did Snoke. Lower officers like Mitaka could prove to be loyal to him, given Ren’s outbursts on the personnel. But in high command, he was losing popularity because of Starkiller and the Fulminatrix.
And then there was that huge factor he hadn’t taken into account properly.
Pryde.
He knew of the sick prick and his reserve forces, but none of the acting officers of the First Order out in the outer rim were aware of how Pryde had strengthened their numbers so fast. The so-called allegiant-general had become a powerful and influential player. Suddenly, the tables had turned and both Pryde and Ren almost succeeded in removing him from the board of command.
Then came Palpatine 's message, and it was as if it announced Hux's demise. Pryde convinced his loyal allegiant officers that going after the message would bring them significant strategic advantages, while Ren was not open for reason.  Hux was automatically on the other end of the bargain, and thus enemy number one within the Order's upper ranks.
How convenient for both.
He felt his palms grow sticky beneath his leather gloves. He could try to come up with alternative tactics, go over the scenarios over and over again, but he already knew in the back of his mind that there was no better option than the way too risky plan he had picked now.
His jaw felt stiff and was starting to hurt from the constant pressure, the sting bringing him back to the present. He sighed deeply and rubbed his nasal bone.
On second thought, getting into some drama or a fight with Miko suddenly feels much more appealing than drowning in these thoughtlines , he scoffed.
A/N: I'm ignoring Sloane for a minute because we don't know what happened to her, same goes for Thrawn. They will have a cameo later on though! I love them too much not to include them 🥰

🧡🐰💙Bunny Fics💙🐰🧡
Hey y'all! I'm still alive and I'm still writing, but I wanted to share some bunny fics I've been enjoying! Please go show them some love and I hope one of them fills all your Bunny needs ❣
I Can't Believe It's Not Butters! - LozisLaw (Because of course Lozzie is going to create a fantastic Marjie fic. This fic is one of the inspirations that made me what to write my fic. It takes you right into Butters' psyche as he figures out who Marjie is to him and of course there is tons of angst between Kenny and Marjie. What's a Marjie fic if there is no angst? Please go read!)
don't know where i'm going (i promise it won't be boring) - Aquaphobe (I love the plot and the concept! I'm assuming it's a bittersweet ending since it takes place three days before the world ends, but it's a slow burn and a hurt/comfort with Kenny and Butters at the forefront)
you’re just seventeen and all you wanna do is disappear - deakcore (I don't like chat fics, but this one is an exception XD It mainly focuses on style, but I love how everyone vibes in this one. Just friends being friends XD)
Bad Times at the La Casa Bonita - Icandigelvis (The first chapter out of the second is up, and although no bunny has happened, I'm honestly invested because of the plot. It's based on "Bad Times at the El Royale", so if you've seen that, you'll know what might happen. I have not and I'm on the edge of my seat XD)
Take Us Alive - nekodairy (The fic is based on "It" and I really like how the author adapted it to fit the South Park atmosphere. I love the interaction between the characters and I also love how they take the concept of "It" and made it their own story.)
Bite Me - AHeckenGoodDeviant (Again, fantastic concept, and I love the depth and story behind each character. I'm highly invested in the plot and our bunny boys are met with immense hurt (idk if there is comfort) but there is a hell of a lot of angst. Takes place during a zombie apocalypse and the creativity with how the characters interact with their environment really helps paint a great picture of what conditions people live in now)
(NFSW) Saturday Waffles - LozisLaw (Another LozisLaw recommendation? Color everyone surprised XD She wrote this as a gift for me and it's beautiful. Angst, tension, fluff, hope, the whole nine yards. This one gets pretty dirty so...😏)
May Nothing But Happiness Come Through Your Door - boy-thighs (sop) (This is the epitome of Bunny comfort fics. It's written so well that I honestly think this could be its own canon episode in the SP universe. Kenny tries to make amends with Butters for ruining his birthday and shenanigans ensue from there. Beautiful and absolutely hilarious story!)
(NFSW) Barbie - skr3ex (Butters goes to a male strip club and ends up getting more than he bargained for. It's filthy and smutty so if you need something steamy, here it is. Oh, and bonus: There is some plot to it and that's always a plus in my book XD)
(NFSW) Posessive, Passive & Pensive. - fanbandoms (Again, it's smutty, smutty, smutty, but the plot and the character interactions are really something to read. This is a porn with plot, with emphasis on the first P, and the drama that happens, especially in the first chapter was *chef's kiss*. I hope this one gets finished soon!)
Very Good Bad Thing - UniqueMemoria (A classic mysy/chaos fic and just makes me smile and feel good when I read it. The plot is quite intriguing and I love the addition of the OC the author adds! The author also draws super cute and amazing art so please check them out on insta and tumblr <3)
(NFSW) Twenty Dollars and a Stain on the Couch - Cheylouwho, valzilla (Before diving into this one, please read the tags and archive warnings as this does delve into sensitive topics. That said, I'm in love with this one and jump out of my seat when I see it updated. Every pairing and character has a plot of its own and is connected in an intricate web of crime drama that I look forward to when the characters' storylines intersect with one another. This fills my Law and Order heart with the plot of this fic and god damn do I freaking love all the drama that happens in it! Highly recommend this one!)

A Still Day or A Hurricane Feedback/Comments (02)
Anonymous asked: Hi I got an email about your new story. Didn't realize it was you coz it seems like you changed your name in ao3 ? Anyways, I am so excited about the new story. Its a different take on a single mom coz I have always read a fic with the chikd being already born. So this is something exciting. Love that JK is so persistent but of course in rl, one would be irritated.
Hi! Ooh, I’ve always been mimiswriting on ao3 hehe. But I’m glad you’re excited! And agree - the whole pregnancy itself is a major plot point that’s why their story starts there. Lots more will happen, though 😉 And agree about irl, this would be kind of irritating, which is why I had to emphasize OC’s bluntness, her denial of JK’s attractiveness, and JK’s friends vouching for him. Thank you for reading. ☺️
Anonymous asked: Although the story and the situation is a bit westernised to be based on Seouk, but I am open to reading it and looking forward to the future chapters
Hii! I won’t deny that! I prefer setting the stories in SK since I have an image of how the guys are like there, and taking note of the cultural appropriateness or relevance of things is quite the challenge and I do apologize. I would assume, though that the whole idea of artificial insemination and single parenthood isn’t a completely foreign idea there (although I just learned that they only do AI for married couples).
A lovely reader at ao3 mentioned Sayuri, a Japanese woman living in SK who’s a single parent by choice (The Return of Superman). I just wanted a different take on this and it’s a situation that maybe some can still relate to. I appreciate your openness and I hope you enjoy the rest of it 🙂🥰
@afangirllikeme-blog asked: 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆💘💘💘💘💘💘💘💘💘💘💘💘💘💘💘
Oh Mimi enjoy the emojis while prepping yourself for my feedback on chapter 1 later.
DO NOT RUN AWAY. I REPEAT. DO NOT RUN AWAY.
These emojis are my reactions while reading 😏
Loving the mixed emotions (and it’s just chapter1!) Looking forward to it! Always love hearing from you 🥰
@codeinebelle asked: Oh my GOD I didn’t give you proper feedback but I LOVED a still day or a hurricane!!!! Oc did what I wanna do in life because I won’t wait for a partner to have a baby lol
I’m so glad you’re enjoying it! It does happen right! I think it’s a one way of taking control of our bodies and lives. Appreciate your message! 🥰
Anonymous asked: Hi! Do you update weekly?
Anonymous asked: Are you going to release one chapter every Wednesday? I just want to look forward and be prepared 🫰🏻✨💖
Hi anons! There will be 2-3 day intervals of releases. I’ll post the masterlist with the dates shortly. 🙂

-> Chapter XV ''Mother''
Chapter XVI ''Happy heart, broken heart''
Shortly after capturing Yunkai, they set out for Meereen. By this time, the dragons had already grown and could only rest their heads on Visenya's lap. They hunted on their own, they didn't have to feed them. On the one hand, it scared her a little to look at it, but on the other hand, she knew she had nothing to fear because they wouldn't attack her.
But she had another question - if she couldn't control them, how could she be sure they wouldn't attack anyone? Hunting a goat is one thing, but what if they start attacking innocent people? She wouldn't want to have to cut them off from the world, but if it was the only way to save people...
She doesn't have to worry about it for now, they've had plenty of opportunities but haven't attacked anyone yet.
She walked among the Unsullied, looking for someone, but she couldn't find the person anywhere. Or rather, two people.
"Missandei, where are Daario Naharis and Grey Worm?" she asked.
"They're gambling."
"Gambling?" she stopped abruptly and turned to her. "For what?" her friend didn't answer her, she just looked expressively at the place where the queen's losses probably were. "I already know who will ride in the rear guard." she muttered more to herself, moving forward in the direction indicated by Missandei.
It took a while for them to get past all the rows of Unsullied and the people who had walked with her from Astapor or Yunkai. At the end of their path, Daario and Grey Worm were actually sitting on the grass, facing each other. They had their arms stretched out in front of them, straight, holding their weapons.
They found an interesting game for themselves...
"How long have you been sitting here?" she asked, stopping in front of them. She put her arms on her hips and looked at them in a reprimanding way. They should have been on the road for at least half an hour.
"From the midnight." Daario replied to her in a casual tone. "Grey Worm is stronger than he looks, but I think his arms are starting to shake."
"And what did you think of as the prize for the winner? Massaging arms that will definitely hurt after this stupid competition?"
"An honor to ride alongside you on the road to Meereen."
"Oh yeah? I know nothing about it." she raised her eyebrows and looked at them. "You can give up, this honor goes to Ser Arthur and Ser Barristan. Especially since none of them kept me waiting in the morning." Daario didn't seem too bothered by these words, well, maybe a little disappointed, but he still smiled slightly. "You will ride at the back and guard the rear. You can have a competition to see who could walk longer without a horse."
"I would win."
She rolled her eyes and was about to leave, but saw that they weren't done with their stupid competition. So she turned for a moment and added:
"The one who holds his sword longer will really go without a horse, but not in the rear guard, but to look for a new queen." after these words, she turned around, but heard both swords fall on the grass almost immediately. "Do men ever grow up?" She asked Missandei with a smirk on her face as they walked back.
"Some don't." she replied with the same smile.
* * *
Suddenly, on the way to Meereen, she was informed that Daario would like to talk to her about something related to the strategy for conquering this next city. Everyone continued walking, and she and Missandei stopped and stood at the edge of the cliff to at least have a nice view, waiting for that smartass. Why do I feel like he has nothing to say about strategy?
"Have you ever been in Meereen?" Visenya asked, finally breaking the silence between them. The only thing she knew about Meereen, apart from the fact that it was another slave-based city, was that it had large pyramids. She even saw an image of them once in a book from which she was learning history. Then she dreamed that one day Lord Tywin would let her go see them. Or that he would take Selaria and they would escape from Casterly Rock and go see the great pyramids.
"Several times, with Master Kraznys." she replied.
"And?"
"A thousand slaves are said to have died in the construction of the Great Pyramid of Meereen." honestly, she expected the number to be much higher, after all, the safety of slaves working on construction sites was not taken care of at all. But still... A thousand people lost their lives so that some Masters could live in the high pyramid.
"And now the former slaves will take this city. Do you think the Great Masters are afraid? Or do they think they can stop us?"
"If they're smart, then the first thing." they smiled at each other.
At that moment, Daario appeared. Missandei retreated to leave them alone.
"Apparently you wanted to talk to me about a strategy for conquering Meereen?" she said, crossing her arms on her chest. "So I'm listening."
"It's the Dusk Rose." she rolled her eyes as soon as he took the rose from behind his back.
"Why did I know you had nothing to tell me about strategy?"
She couldn't say that she didn't like - at least a little - that he was obviously trying to get closer to her and even was flirting. It was nice to feel like someone was pursuing your affections, even though it reminded her of how she treated Jaime. He didn't deserve this, he was always nice to her...
No, enough of this blaming. He's a big boy, he's definitely forgotten about it by now and turned his feelings back to his sister. By the way, she wonders what the situation in the capital looks like now, what do they know about her? Have they heard about what she did? Are they planning to do something to stop her?
Or maybe Tywin decided that she isn't a threat because his pride wouldn't allow him to think otherwise? Ah, she wished she could see his face when he found out she had run away...
"And this is Amine, or Lady's Lace, they call it in a few ways..." he hid the blue rose behind his back and now showed her a flower with white petals.
"I didn't know you were a gardener." she sighed, looking ahead at the stretching sea waters. "Why are you telling me all this?"
"You must know the lands you intend to rule. Plants, rivers, roads... And people." he explained.
She couldn't help but agree with him, so she remained silent. She knew the maps of Westeros by heart, but she actually knew little about Essos, only a little about the most important cities. And she knew people as well as she knew their mentality.
"Dusk Rose tea lowers fever, everyone in Meereen knows that. Especially slaves, for whom such tea is often the only salvation." she turned to him and let him continue. "You can't just walk into these people's lives, set them free, and expect them to follow you. You are a stranger to them. You must become part of their community, not remain some goddess-like figure. And that's what strategy is."
She almost laughed, amused that he actually, in some sense, wanted to talk to her about strategy. The fact that he was clearly trying to seduce her in the process is another matter.
"What else are you holding behind your back?" she nodded at the hand he was still holding behind his back.
"Harpy's Gold." he held out a rather peculiar-looking red flower. "We don't make tea from it, it's beautiful but poisonous." he shrugged, grabbed all three flowers with one hand and gently held them out towards her.
"You're still riding in the back." she said, accepting the bouquet from him.
"Of course, Your Grace." he bowed slightly to her and went back to his horse.
She was left alone for a moment, with a bouquet of flowers in her hand. She felt a special warmth in her heart when she looked at these flowers again. Somehow she was... Happy that she could flirt so freely with someone. No judging glances like in the capital, no plans to marry her off, nothing to limit her, only her own feelings.
She slowly became convinced that this boy had actually simply fallen in love with her beauty at the beginning, and now he was trying to win her heart.
Maybe she should let him? She was tempted to let herself be seduced and see what would come of it, especially since he wasn't completely indifferent to her either...
Her amorous reflections were interrupted when everyone in the march suddenly stopped. She looked up from the bouquet and looked around. No one attacked them, why did they stop? The Unsullied parted, allowing her to pass. Taking big steps, she quickly reached the very beginning and stopped for a moment when she saw what was going on. She had to swallow and take a deep breath before she moved closer to the crucified child pointing the way.
"On every mile from here to Meereen there is one." Ser Arthur explained to her.
What a sick way to mark the way... It seems as if they wanted to scare people away from the city, rather than show the way to lost travelers.
At first she wanted to look away from the body, but she restrained herself. She has already caused the death of many people, and will condemn even more to death. And somehow she endured the sight. She can endure this too, each such slave killed will only give her strength to move forward.
"And how far are we from Meereen?"
"One hundred and sixty-three miles, Your Grace. I'll tell a few people to go ahead and bury them all one by one. You don't have to look at this."
"No." she said quickly, not even looking at him. "I will see worse things in my life, I will not avoid them." she assured. "Don't forget to take off her collar before you bury her."
* * *
I should have died there. It's all my fault, I failed, I should have died, not them. They hailed me as King in the North and paid with their lives for my mistakes. I shouldn't have run away from there, even if they wanted me to, even if they gave me the opportunity.
But then they would have died in vain...
Who am I trying to fool, hasn't everything already been wasted? The war is over, lost. And the North? The North is lost to the Boltons. Who will fight them, condemning themselves to certain death for the honor that I lacked? Mother was right, people won't keep their word if I don't do the same.
Mother... She also died because of me. If I had listened to her more, maybe this wouldn't have happened... And Talisa... She was innocent, she died because I married her. She and our unborn child died. Is this supposed to be my punishment? Living with guilt eating me up inside? Living somewhere in the shadows, seeing my home no longer mine, remembering that one evening at the Twins every day until I go crazy?
It would be wonderful to just lie down on the ground somewhere and wait for death, or inflict it yourself. But then, I will fail the people who gave their lives so that I could escape. I would let them down a second time. What can I do? When they find out that my body is not there, they will search the entire land just to find and kill me. Is there even a place I can hide from them?
Will I ever be able to live a normal life and look at myself in the mirror?
Will I ever feel anything more than disappointment with myself?
All I can do is find my sisters. But how? There's also Jon...
