the moon came to visit me today like a white bowl turned upside down and hanging in clear blue sky while i walked with my sadness up canyon steps to meet the sun and the tall grass with trilobite heads whispered with wind a gentle kind of my clicking, the sound of the afternoon pursing her lips and blowing dry things together, quaking, touching. what an ancient dance, all these feelings. i decided to sit and listen, to look. a tiny black beetle landed on my knee. a gull flew high overhead, barely seen. a dog ran open mouthed chasing a tennis ball on the path below. eucalyptus trees and queen anne's lace and shrubs i can't name danced too, as if also spellbound by this moon, hanging in clear blue sky, always seeing everything, always listening, holding its place, and moving, like all these feelings, this ancient dance of just noticing how life is alive. silvi 25/100 .
