I hate Twitter, I've been exposed to worse racism than I experienced while literally being forcibly silenced about my race in school.

I'm gonna share a few thoughts.
>>> People who are very insistent (rightfully) that Hamas and the Palestinians are not the same, because it de-humanizes the latter, are the same people who take every quote an Israeli official makes about fighting Hamas, and attribute it as if it was said about fighting the Palestinians. It seems they're the ones who are conflating Hamas and the Palestinians, but only when it can be used to de-humanize Jews.
>>> The same people who rushed to provide the "context" that the Islamist terrorists massacred over 1,400 people in Israel on Oct 7 due to occupation, were very silent when two Swedish soccer fans were murdered by an Islamist terrorist in Belgium on Oct 16. The last time I checked, Sweden had never occupied any part of Tunisia. For that matter, Hamas murdered and kidnapped many foreigners working and studying in Israel. I'm also pretty sure Thailand, Nepal, China and the Philippines had never occupied Palestine.
>>> I've seen many people screaming that the number of aid trucks being brought into Gaza since Oct 7 is insufficient, because so far it has been less than 100 a day, and before Hamas' attack, it was 500 daily. These are the same people who have been comparing Gaza to a ghetto or concentration camp. I can't remember a single day when the Nazis allowed 500 aid trucks into the Warsaw Ghetto or the Dachau concentration camp.
>>> I've seen many people claiming that Israel warning the Palestinians to evacuate parts of Gaza is forced transfer. I did not see these people so much as acknowledging the existence of well over 500,000 Israelis, who have been evacuated due to Hamas and Hezbollah's on going attacks against Israel.
>>> These same people criticize Israel so much, did not post a single condemnation of Egypt, which refuses to allow Gazans a temporary refuge within its borders. Egypt has also used the "forced transfer" excuse to deny Palestinians a safe temporary shelter. When Ukrainians needed to leave their bombarded cities, I don't remember their neighboring countries refusing to accept them temporarily, because it would be "forced transfer."
>>> IDK if this anti-Israeli post has the worst take yet, but it is def a strong contender:
Tumblr media
The same people who can't bring themselves to condemn Hamas without reservations, to admit that it's a terrorist organization, with the stated genocidal goal of killing ALL JEWS, are the ones invoking the memory of the genocide perpetrated against Jews to try and get others to come out against the only Jewish state, and one that was very much a needed refuge place for about two thirds of Holocaust survivors after what they had endured. When Hamas has literally kidnapped and murdered Holocaust survivors and their family members. When countless Jewish people have pointed out that Hamas' massacre was the deadliest assault on Jews since the Holocaust, and made many of them be reminded of its horrors.
To take the memory of the Holocaust and use it to attack Jews, including Holocaust survivors and their families, and most of all, to do it based on a narrative that is completely ignorant or deliberately dismissive of Jewish native rights in Israel, is unconscionable. This person and those who agreed with them, they're guilty of exactly what they accuse others of. They've bought into the anti-Israeli propaganda that allows them to look at kidnapped Jewish babies and tear down their posters, to ignore Jewish students having to hide from anti-Israeli mobs, and to explain that the murdered Holocaust survivors deserved it, de-humanizing and victim blaming them a second time, just as the Nazis and their collaborators did.

Pro-palestine people refuse to give Hamas any accountability for what's happening at all. And y'all love to try and insist Hamas existing "because of Israel" somehow matters. It really doesn't. Hamas wants to Genocide all of the Jewish people, and uses Palestinians as human shields to garuntee civilian casualties so people like you will ignore their crimes and focus on Israel instead. How they formed is well and truly irrelevant. They still want to genocide the Jewish people and are the main reason this is happening right now, and the sole barrier to there being a ceasefire in Gaza. Israel cannot call a ceasefire alone. Why do pro-palestine people act like they can??? A ceasefire literally is an agreement between two parties during a war to not attack each other. It requires both sides to declare it. Expecting only one side to do so is not wanting a ceasefire, it's wanting a surrender.
And quite frankly, the Arab world has been oppressing and killing the Jewish before Israel was even reestablished and there have been groups attacking Israel mere days after it started, so of course conflict was happening before Hamas, it's been happening since before ISRAEL.
Yes, Israel is absolutely committing attrocities, as all people do during a war, but Hamas IS committing worse crimes (it is a war crime to use human shields, and the guilty party is the one using them, not the one killing them, not to mention unlike Israel Hamas is going out of it's way to garuntee innocent casualties. Both in using human shields and in seeking out random Israeli civilians to torture and murder), and yet no one on the pro-palestine side will even criticize them. Shit even being expected to us considered ridiculous. Not to mention, half the time, Everything they've done gets dismissed as Israeli Propaganda. Pro-palestine people won't even acknowledge Hamas even does anything wrong. Occasionally one of you will just go "yeah, Hamas bad, but-" and then harp on about Israel supposedly committing genocide. You clearly want one side to have the blame instead of holding everyone who is responsible, well, responsible.
P.s. I've personally never hid behind an anon shield to voice my pro-israel stance. I'll never side with people who won't even criticize the terrorists calling for genocide that lead Palestine. As far as I'm concerned the following things are true:
Israel is the native land of the Jewish people. They have every right to live there, and most not only came from the surrounding regions, being forced from those regions by the countries that have always hated them, but were born there.
What's happening in Gaza is a tragedy, and I pray for a quick end to the conflict, but that can't happen if Hamas doesn't stand down. A ceasefire requires both parties to call.
Hamas is the main party responsible for what's happening. They are the ones who killed 1400 Israeli civilians during a music festival on the eve of an agreement that, by all accounts, would have benefited Palestine and even potentially brought the conflict to a rest. They continuously use Palestinians as human shields, have raped Israeli women, and even killed babies. They are scum, and Pro-palestine people being so unwilling to condemn them, or even let them share the tiniest sliver of blame for what's happening in favor of crying "Israel is committing genocide" is quite ridiculous.
In the West, most of the opposition to Israel is because someone decided they were a white colonizer state. I've personally seen so many pro-palestine people scream this in comment sections and articles. So there is an element of racism to all this.
And finally, both sides of the pro-israel/Palestine shit are getting way too malicious. There's doxxing on both sides, people are attacking, harassing and even killing Jewish people (even ones who have nothing to do with Israel), and it needs to stop. People shouldn't be doing this shit to each other over which side in a war is more justified in killing the other.
I respect your opinion about the Israel-Palestine war, but you need to know that the ones that are putting the Palestine people in danger are Hamas, they are not letting people leave. They are forcing them be there.
To them risking people's lives is nothing, they want to kill and erase the Jewish population.
You need to know that the IDF lets people know where and when there will be a shoot so the people will leave the building (there's a tactic that calls knocks on the roof)
However, after the event on October 8, The IDF WILL ELIMINATE ALL THE HAMAS PEOPLE.
So instead of "free Palestine" write "free people from hamas"
No, I will not do that.
I will not write anything that takes away accountability from Israel, just as I will abhor Hamas' terrible actions. Because this was never about Hamas. Israel doesn't give two shits to differentiate whether who is a member of it or not. Never mind the fact that none of you still acknowledge that Hamas exists because of Israel in the first place. They've been doing this shit since before Hamas and they've upped the scale because they are finally given a good excuse to, or as good as it can be if you're dumb and/or heartless enough to believe them.
"the IDF lets people know where there will be a shoot so people leave the building" You mean like when they threatened the doctors of that chirstian hospital, telling the staff to abandon the injured refugees? Saying that they gave them a choice and that it's their fault for staying, despite the fact that they cannot fucking leave the damn hospital because there are people who need treatment? How considerate of them to do that before blowing them to bits. And I mean literal bits. A lot of the corpses were not intact. But what about when they gave a route that Palestinians could use to flee, promised it was safe, but still murdered them in cold blood? Such terrible manners, gosh.
You Pro-Israel pieces of shit still dont have the balls to go out of anon to say all these, by the way. Very telling.

Making My Own Post™️ because im not indigenous, and because the post that spurred this on was about Palestine as well, so i don’t want to derail it. that said, it does have me very emotional because i grew up in the central valley of california, and i do my best to pay attention to the land i’m on and the people who know it best. i think that anybody who really cares about the land that america encompasses and learning about what it was like before it was devastated by the arrival of white people would be able to understand my frustration.
i love the valley now, even in its dry and wounded state, because it is where i grew up, but it is obvious that the land was far, far healthier when it was in the care of the indigenous people of the area. that is because the ecosystem was maintained by and for those people.
i’m not indigenous, so i don’t presume to have any better knowledge than what was shared in the other post (which you really should check out before reading on), but what @omusa-inola and @dojense shared was the same as what i learned in my own personal research. the valley used to be home to black oak forests, which were maintained by the indigenous people that live there. black oaks are huge trees which provide essential shade from the intense central valley sun. black oaks also build a root network that nourishes other plants that the indigenous people of the area (including the miwoks, but also other tribes) relied on prior to the destruction of the oaks.
there is a very small black oak grove near where i used to live (that is now being threatened by kudzu, sadly) and standing underneath the cathedral-like shelter of a black oak’s sprawling branches and seeing what grows in their shadow really contextualizes the struggle of the valley. it’s obvious if you open your eyes and look. things grow easily under the black oaks. they don’t elsewhere. meanwhile, white people struggle to grow non-native crops under the direct sun, in huge monocultural fields, by dousing them with water daily. white people act like the valley is dry and barren by nature now, but it doesn’t have to be. it wasn’t before.
if you read that other post, you might be finding it clear that genocidal action and ecological disaster absolutely go hand in hand. both play into each other. california is just one example of that. the healthy, abundant ecosystem that worked for the valley, that was maintained by and for the indigenous people, was destroyed. the oaklands were chopped down, taking the livelihood of the indigenous people with them— all in order to make way for the white way of life. even now, surviving native plant and wildlife continues to die off every day as farms till to prepare for another season of stripping the soil of water and nutrients for profit, and even as farms are torn up and replaced by houses and apartments for the ever-increasing number of those who want to strike it rich in the golden state. public schools in CA continue to refuse to teach the truth about the indigenous people of the region, denying their importance and existence. sacred & historic sites are torn up because they’re worth so much more to capitalism if they’re replaced by a shitty apartment building or whatever.
the disturbed land of the valley is not only home to crops and densely-packed little houses, but it is also home to viciously invasive and highly flammable grasses that literally didnt exist in california before white people brought them over in bags of grain and crop seeds. the native plants that do manage to sprout up between the strawberries and almond trees are destroyed by tilling, but the tilling literally perpetuates the life cycle of these invasive grasses which choke out other life, suck the nutrients and water out of the soil, and then die on top of it in a dry, flammable heap. those invasive grasses also dominate the yellow, barren cow pastures between the orchards, and the black-burnt shoulders of the highways.
it’s confusing and mind-numbing to try to understand how California keeps making ecologically devastating decisions while maintaining the reputation of a Good, Liberal State. at least it was that way for me, until one of my visits to the black oak grove during that period of my life where i was struggling to grow my own food to eat. i saw how easily life springs up under the shadows of the trees even in the heat of a valley summer, and remembered that white people tore all of those life-giving trees down to plant rows of crops to sell off and to build labyrinths of identical houses. the answer is that the state of california is just another part of the capitalist colonial government that exists to perpetuate itself and kill everything and everyone that stands in its way, even until there is no california to rule over, burnt to the ground and then swallowed by the pacific.
no one has cared for the land better than the indigenous people who colonizers set out to erase. dont forget the damage that is done, because colonizer governments with no attachment to the land will never fix the ecological disasters they benefit from, even if that government is california, which brands itself as the most climate-conscious and progressive state. i encourage other americans to research the land you live on to learn what it was and who took care of it before it became built cookie-cutter houses, lawns, and factory farms. listen to the voices of indigenous people around you. it will be frustrating and saddening to learn what has been destroyed, but we have to learn.
anyway. #landback

The claims of gang rape have yet to be supported by any evidence whatsoever. Forensic documents, testimonies, and "witness accounts" are contradictory, many statements have been retracted, no one's come forward even anonymously. But it's a tactic that's been used for centuries to depict the enemy to be as barbaric and inhuman as possible. They did it with Natives and enslaved Africans in the US too. It also weaponizes the empathy of others towards women and children.
I see no pro Hamas activism or gatherings, but what I have seen is a lot of the Free Palestine activism labelled as "pro Hamas". "Pro Hamas protests", "pro Hamas antisemitic hate speech" (literally anything pro Palestine), "Pro Hamas boycotts" and when Israel attacks Palestinians they're always labeled "pro Hamas" to justify it (and still that wouldn't justify it).
Hamas are not the ones bombing civilians and the citizens are all saying that the occupation is killing them. There's so much footage of Israeli soldiers doing absolutely deplorable things- often proudly filming it too. The victims are not blaming Hamas, they don't need to be rescued from Hamas when the occupation is responsible for killing their people. They don't need to lie for Hamas when so many have lost everything. They wouldn't protect the people murdering their entire communities
Palestine has been under the control of the occupation even after 2006. Israel still governs the citizens and controls the displacement camps, the borders, their "law enforcement", etc. Having control more remotely doesn't make much of a difference.
"Solving the conflict" proposes no solution. Hamas' attack was awful and resulted in innocent deaths. The attack was reactionary and didn't come out of nowhere, or stem from the hatred of Jews. They were already being killed and the attack was in response to the civilians being murdered in Palestine. That doesn't justify it morally at all but it's important to understand what their motivations were. They'd be stupid to do this as an act against Jews trying to go up against one of the most powerful militaries in the world that has funding from one of the other most powerful militaries. They wouldn't stand a chance if their plan was to storm in and just kill every Jewish person in Israel. But this was an act of desperate resistance. Peaceful solutions did not work, they continued to be terrorized, and they struck back. About 200 Palestinians were killed in the west bank by the IDF in 2023 alone prior to October 7th (I believe this is in the court document) and at least 9,000 were injured. That is not justifiable whatsoever.
If you read the case brought against Israel, it cites hundreds of statements and actions that are verifiable and includes citations for each claim. Page 59 begins the section that describes the statements expressing genocidal intent from state officials and others in power, straight from their mouths.
One of the biggest examples reads as follows on page 60 (though every example is important).
"Israeli Minister of Defence: On 9 October 2023, Defence Minister Yoav Gallant in an Israeli Army ‘situation update’ advised that Israel was “imposing a complete siege on Gaza. No electricity, no food, no water, no fuel. Everything is closed. We are fighting human animals and we are acting accordingly". "
This, as you hopefully know, is a description of collective punishment. One of Israel's many war crimes. There are so many more that they've committed but this one only serves to create more suffering. It's not a defense and there's no justification for it. And the language used here is intentionally dehumanizing. It's a pattern that's pointed out not only in this case but throughout history. Again, we've seen this with Native Americans and enslaved Africans.
This section in regards to Yoav Gallant continues to quote him:
" “Gaza won’t return to what it was before. We will eliminate everything. If it doesn’t take one day, it will take a week. It will take weeks or even months, we will reach all places.” He further announced that Israel was moving to “a fullscale response” and that he had “removed every restriction” on Israeli forces."
Again in the PDF of the case I've linked, there are citations for every claim, this is all proven information. Nothing "out of context" or exaggerated. You can see this shit for yourself
How is this minimizing civilian deaths? How is this proportionate? Have you seen what the IDF have been doing under the orders of people with this very objective? The aftermath, the journalists that are there where you can hear warplanes and bombs around them as they're explaining what's going on? The carnage they've seen and everything? So many of us have seen proof of the atrocities they're speaking about, soldiers doing this shit by their own will. If you're not aware of it you can find it easily. Even just scrolling through eye on palestine on Instagram and Twitter shows so much damning evidence against the IDF
Your answer to the genocide and the murder of so many Palestinians involves a "but". "Palestinians should not be killed, but-". There should not be a but in this statement. There should not be a "what about", these are all deflections. This isn't a case against Hamas because after October 7th they didn't continue to commit these acts and go dropping bunker busters and shit on schools and residences. The amount of Palestinians killed is nearing 30,000. That's not self defense. If there was a case against Hamas then likewise their actions wouldn't be judged objectively based on what Israel has done
Israel has not given any chance for others to mourn and speak about the events of October 7th because their response was to carry out a genocide that has now lasted over 100 days in the names of the victims. The amount of civilian deaths and the tactics to justify them to the entire world are not typical of war. They're destroying holy cites, important landmarks, libraries, entire blocks, hospitals, homes, schools, etc. They're advertising real estate by depicting fancy little summer homes above the destroyed and flattened streets of Gaza. This is strategic in nature and colonized people are all too familiar with it
Their tactics are consistent not with what's expected in war, but with what we've seen during genocides time and time again. Colonized people have consistently supported Palestinians because they empathize with their struggles, grief, and trauma and were similarly dehumanized and subjected to similar acts of cruelty. The Black Panthers, Malcom X, and Nelson Mandela supported Palestine and cited that as one of the main reasons for doing so. Malcolm X was one of the first prominent civil rights activists to openly express support for Palestine, but black and Palestinian solidarity has long been a result of the sympathy these groups have for one another. He visited the occupied Gaza strip and displacement camps for himself. There was no social media making this "trendy" for activists but they related to those experiences. I think it's important to ask why that might be
Let me make it short since all you antizionsits clearly don’t read past the headline:
October 7th
On October 7th Hamas and Palestinian citizens invaded Israel: They massacred 1300~ , kidnapped 250+, and gang raped women and children.
It doesn’t depend on the context
Hamas and why it’s ridiculous to support it
You can condemn Hamas while wanting to free Palestine.
Hamas isn’t a cool and woke liberation movement - it’s an extremist terror organisation.
“Israel controls Gaza”🤦‍♀️
in fact, dismantling Hamas is what will free them.
Israel doesn’t govern Gaza since 2006 when Israel completely withdrew from it.
Ever since, Hamas are responsible for their living conditions.
Solving the conflict
Israel isn’t going anywhere
Jews have always been in the Middle East and will continue to be there

Okay I have time and I’m still stewing on this, so let’s go through this bit by bit. Because the more I think about it. The less fucking sense it makes.
To start, that message. Well, I wasn’t aware that I, an American Jew who has never set foot in Israel, let alone participated in it’s politics, was stealing land. Second point on that- indigenous people can’t steal the land their fucking indigenous to.
Which brings me to “By your logic, Native Americans aren’t indigenous either”. This is where this person... TOTALLY loses me. Because no one mentioned that? No one brought that up? I have no idea what “logic” this person is referring to, or how stating that Jews are indigenous to and were repeatedly kicked out of and have tried to return to and retain a presence in the land now known as Israel has ANYTHING to do with Native Americans not being indigenous? Convinced they pulled this out of nowhere to try and win this argument they started.
“Nazis were already...” Not gonna type the whole sentence out. But uh, have no idea where Muslims came into this either. Although the myth that Jews and Arabs got along in the Middle East PERFECTLY until Israel is, indeed, a myth. Antisemitic attitudes existed in the Middle East long before the creation of the modern state of Israel. Jews were assaulted, exiled from, and murdered in the Middle East for CENTURIES before Israel existed, and the idea that Jews and Muslims in the Arab world got along perfectly well until those “Evil Zionists” showed up is historical revisionism and a straight up lie.
“Brits gave [Israel] to y’all out of pity because they did nothing to stop the Holocaust” fuck off. Britain “gave” Israel to the Jews because they didn’t want us. NONE of the European nations that we had been calling home wanted us after they, you know, tried to fucking genocide us. The idea that Israel was randomly chosen for the Jews is also a fucking lie- Jews took that offer because, well aside from literally having nowhere else to go, that is our HOMELAND. It is the land we came from, the land of our origin. We did not “steal” that land- I find it ironic that people like this complain all day long about Jews “stealing” this land when, initially, it was fucking taken from us in an exile so infamous it literally spawned the word “diaspora” to refer to the Jews who were displaced (in 733 BCE by Assyria, when Jews were kicked out of the Kingdom of Israel. This was followed by the Babylonian exile in 597 and in 586 when Jews were kicked out of the Kingdom of Judah, the second kingdom that was present in what we now know as Israel and Palestine). But no, it’s not stealing when other people do it to us, or when Britain did it, or when Jordan did it. JUST when the Jews return to land that they were exiled from. Got it.
“Zionists are actually fucking evil”- given that you’re saying this on a post with American Jews talking about their concerns for the safety of other American Jews, because a list was published of names and addresses of AMERICAN JEWISH CENTERS, just say you hate Jews. All the “anti-zionist” crowd has done in the last couple of years is really solidify that “Zionist” is the let’s version of “elites” or “Globalists” or “(((them)))”. It means Jews, we get it, we see it.
And, one more thing to address here. Because I see people acting like, if BDS had just released a list of “actually Zionist” organizations, it would be fine.
You DO understand that releasing a list of centers that host a marginalized group, very VERY potentially leading to violence against that group, is bad even when you disagree with the, right? You DO know that releasing the location of a Jewish Zionist group with the call to “dismantle it” is STILL calling for antisemitic violence against Jews. You can’t say “OH, well, it’s OKAY because those are ZIONIST Jews”... So what? So any Jew that doesn’t pass your fucking test deserves to be shot? Any Jew that doesn’t conform to your standards deserves to live in fear for their life?
The Left (and yes, this is SPECIFICALLY leftists antisemitic racism) needs to understand that there is no possible way that Jews can look at what they are doing and see anything other than antisemitism at this point. The Left needs to understand that, not only do I and many of my fellow American Jews not trust them, they are just proving that we NEED Israel, we NEED a homeland for Jews. Because, for all of it’s fucking problems, all of the bullshit, all of the stuff I disagree with. It’s the one place where I could go. Y’all are making a Jewish State more and more appealing, because you’re proving that no one else is going to help us. Proving that the only people who care about Jews are Jews.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
All in response to a post about AMERICAN Jews being put on a hitlist because people just LOVE using antizionism as a veil for their racism against Jews.
Anyway. This is why I don’t trust y’all. Person who says “there are bigger threats than anti-colonialists” when those “anti-colonialists” are BDS. And they just put out the addresses of Jewish schools and elderly centers. Doesn’t seem to understand that YES, people who think like this are just as much of a threat.
Admit it. You just want Jews to shut up. You really like us when we’re dead and you can use us as an excuse to hate on nazis, but at the end of the day you’re no better than all the other racist assholes out there.
Antizionists are antisemitic. Antisemities are racist. And you have made it so obvious that you don’t care about Jews.
