after attending many corroded coffin shows and practices, Steve tries the drums.

he’s a fucking natural, something about repeating beats and banging things.

with the band dwindling out to just Eddie, and the occasional Gareth, Steve starts playing with them.

practice becomes the two of them in Steve’s garage, much to the dismay of his shitty neighbors. Eddie even gives Steve a few guitar lessons.

Gareth joins in on bass (which he also enjoys) at the live performances.

at those, Eddie makes sure to deck Steve out in a outfit fit enough to “be associated with us,” and eyeliner.

which Eddie all too soon regrets—when after the set, the makeup is dripping down Steve’s face, hair stuck up every which way; he’s drenched in sweat, in Eddie’s clothes.
