Interview with the Omnitrix

With the Hybreed defeated and a new playlist of aliens to figure out, Ben let himself enjoy the parties going on at home and gave Ken the pout of his life when he was denied any alcohol.  “If I’m old enough to save the galaxy from genocide, I think I’m old enough to drink.”  Apparently, it didn’t work that way, but Mom agreed with Ben and he got a whole 8 ounces of some fruity blend of stuff.  He was dizzy the rest of the night on into his sleep.

When the celebrations were done with, Ben found himself sitting in his room, staring down at the Omnitrix.

“We saved the whole galaxy because you can alter genes on the fly.  Can you… can you answer me if I ask you questions?”

In his own voice, the watch responded, “Affirmative.”

“Would’ve been great to know but that’s my fault for not checking I guess.  So, the way that you returned the DNAliens back to human form, would you be able to fix Albedo back to his original form too?”

“Affirmative.”

“Well, that’s on the list I guess.  Ben 10,000 mentioned putting a lock on you, is there a way to make sure other people can’t transform me without my consent?”

“Affirmative, morph lock currently disengaged.  Would you like to engage the morph lock?”

“Oh my god, yes!  Engage morph lock, please.”  The watch beeped twice, then clicked, and Ben pumped his fist in the air.  “Awesome!  Okay, what else… hey, how come back when I was a kid you turned me into the wrong alien and timed out at random?”

Ben swore he felt judgment that wasn’t his hitting him from all sides.  “During referenced time of 2004 A.D. to 2005 A.D. Omnimatrix Model 1.00 was far more delicate and susceptible to glitches and damage.  User Ben Tennyson only activated the primary transformation function properly once: the very first time.”

Ben sucked on his teeth with a wince.  “Is slamming your dial the problem?”

“Transformation countdown was randomized with each excessively forceful activation.  Morph randomization is a result of built-up damage and errors typical of any prototype.  Morph randomization has since been fixed, and morph duration reliant on charge.”

Ben tilted his head, scratching his neck.  “Alright, that brings me to another question that paying attention in science class and going on adhd spirals on the internet has had me confused about.  Nothing comes from nothing, so where do you get your charge?”

“Original power source: pocket dimension crafted by First Thinker Azmuth, to which an increasing number of black holes lead, filling it with white holes.  Current secondary source: user Ben Tennyson’s excess mana, which would otherwise damage User Ben Tennyson’s body.”

Well shit.

“Elaborate on the mana part.”

“User: Ben Tennyson produces large quantities of previously unknown energy, now classified as mana.  Other sapient beings are observed to produce varying quantities of mana, the smallest being found in Galvanic Mechamorphs.  User’s human body is insufficient for containment of natural mana production.  Previous glitches involving excess mana generation include manifestation of consciousness within ectonurite genomorph.

“Reference: Verdona Tennyson of Anodine indicates failure to regulate User’s excess mana production will result in User’s human body becoming a mass of mana charged plasma, similar to the revealed true form of Verdona Tennyson.” late User’s excess mana production will result in User’s human body becoming a mass of mana charged plasma, similar to the revealed true form of Verdona Tennyson.”

Ben took a deep breath in for 4 seconds, held it for 4 more, and let it out over the course of 4 seconds.

“Asking Grandma about that is also on my to do list, at the top probably.  I just need to figure out how to contact her.”  Ben rubbed his temples and considered whether or not he could handle more answers to his questions.

“Hey omnitrix, are you able to change my human body?”

“Affirmative.”

“… Have you changed my human body in the past?”

“Negative.”

After a moment of making the kinds of changes most teenage boys would when presented with that kind of opportunity, Ben furrowed his brows in thought.

“Hey, Ship remembers all of the things he’s upgraded, so how come when I was Upgrade I never kept the blueprints for all the stuff I upgraded?”

“Galvanic Mechamorphs are completely mechanical entities with nanites in place of cells.  The Galvanic Mechamorph stores consciousness and memories very differently from how a human being does.  Maintaining a record of your memories and consciousness during the disassembly and reconstruction of your brain is no small task.”

Ben nodded, shrugging.  “Too complicated to do when you’ve got more important things to prioritize, got it.  So, before I go and figure out the new aliens you’ve given me, I’ve got one more question.

“If my excess mana brought Ghost Freak to life, are you alive?”

These designs are made for a role play we have as our characters go on interstellar adventures with their alien powers and their own Omnimatrix devices!

All designs were very fun to do. I’m someone who’s specialty is mainly drawing Mechamorph but drawing Renzo was a fun experience and I’m glad with how he turned out!

So here are the rules of this omnitrix

Firstly concept wise and appearance wise as you'll see below it's a combination of almost every canon omnimatrix device that ben has worn in the classic continuity.

This is because #1 in my AU there is no separation between AF/UA and OV it's just one series and #2 i wanted to limit the amount of omnitrix devices that ben uses for story and convenience purposes.

Now on to what thiw omnitrix actually is.

It's essentially just the classic omnitrix with some Alterations think of the recalibrated omnitrix from af except the reason for it recalibrating is not because ben hadn't used it for awhile It's because of a device called the matrix core.

This lil thing right here...it may not look like much but it is conceptually the most powerful piece of technology in the universe.

What does it do?

It's a device that upgrades and enhances any device it integrates with almost like a portable galvanic mechamorph for example integrate it into a rocket launcher and it can have the power of a tank..integrate it into a tank and ot could have the potential power of a nuke etc etc.

Azmuth developed this device to boost galvanic planetary defenses in case of emergencies but Myaxx sent it to ben before it was completed.

He also never calibrated it to work well with the omnitrix.

After ben integrates the matrix core into his omnitrix the omnitrix recalibrates changing it's appearance and features.

It is now more gauntlet shaped with the omnitrix dial located on the back of the hand and It has an alien selection wheel like the ov omnitrix (but not the touchscreen dial)

Now since the matrix core was not perfected there are some new features as well as bugs that come with it...the mistransformation glitch is back not as often as in ov but it still happens from time to time,Ben is back to only 10 aliens at the moment some are new and some are the ones he had when he was younger with the others being locked away...he'll unlock them again at some point.Transformations use wayyy more power than the regular omnitrix forms he runs the risk of draining the "battery". And since the core was never perfected staying transformed for too long as well as switching through aliens too frequently puts a huge physical strain on ben himself.

As for Bens aliens since the matrix core upgrades technology and ben put it into the omnitrix then his aliens have also been augmented.

Now as for how the augmented forms themselves work..think of the ultimate aliens crossed with the anti trix aliens from the reboot.So the Matrix core basically takes whatever species Bens selected and evolves them the evolutions themselves aren't all exactly the same and neither are the evolutionary requirements for example alien a might be put through a simulation of the worst possible state of their planet and will be forced to evolve to adapt to that while alien b might be put in a situation where they have to evolve to overcome their predator etc

The forms also have to make some sense from an evolutionary standpoint to Ult Humungousaurs hand missles,Ult big chills Fire ice and Ult Wildmutts speaking don't count. So after the alien is evolved they remain that way as long as the matrix core is part of the omnitrix..no turning it off and on like the ultimates. So like how the anti trix aliens are constantly mutated.

Cream 10

Exactly what it sounds like; Sonic/Ben 10 crossover au where Cream is the wielder of the Omnitrix.

-She doesn't bother with the whole secret identity thing because she's already a fairly well-known hero thanks to her adventures with the rest of the Sonic cast.

-I'm torn on whether she should find it when she's six so she can go through some of the games with it or if I should make it a post-series time skip so she can be 10 for thematic purposes

-Her unseen dad was a Plumber who fell in the line of duty, and Vanilla wasn't a Plumber but was fully aware of what he did for a living.

-As you might imagine, GUN takes issue with a child being in possession of such a powerful "weapon." Given what happened last time they took issue with something like that, nobody's particularly interested in their opinion, especially Team Dark.

Cream's Starting Playlist: -Quarterback (Tetramand) (yeah cream's nicknaming conventions are different from Ben's. Mostly) -Permafrost (Necrofriggian) -Eyesore (Black Arms) (a big part of why I'm conflicted on whether to go post-series or mid-series. can you imagine how things would go in Shadow the Hedgehog if Cream turned into this thing?) -Brainwave (Voxai) (look Chonicles isn't good but it gave me cool aliens to use and by chaos I'm going to use them) -Hijack (Galvanic Mechamorph) -Gargantula (unknown giant spider alien) -Short Circuit (Nosedeenian) -Apeshoot (unknown species based on a monkey slingshot toy) -Spin Cycle (Ferrograde) -Sea Queen (Thalassian) (while Thalassians are normally deep-sea fish, the Omnitrix has safety features that prevent Sea Queen from undergoing fatal decompression. She still can only form legs on scale-shedding day though.)

-As we all know, Eggman's first thought when encountering something new and interesting is "how can I make an evil robot out of this" and the Omnitrix is no exception. To that end he created Ovitrix, a pseudo-Gizoid like Gemerl that uses a reverse-engineered Omnimatrix (the core bit that makes the transformations happen) to turn into replicas of most of the robot designs Eggman's come up with over the years, as well as a few new ones based on some of Cream's alien forms because of course.

-Ovitrix has a black and green color scheme, while Cream's Omnitrix is orange (so it looks a bit like Mad Ben's but without the decorative spikes) since that's Her Color.

-I'm including the full rogues gallery from both continuities, though some of the human villains will get reimagined as Mobians instead and almost all of them are gonna need some tweaks to fit them into the Sonic Universe.

-well, technically I've replaced Kevin with an oc but that explanation (both the who and the why) deserves its own post

I've got other ideas for this AU but this'll do for a first post

Close Encounter

Danny's just hanging around with some blob ghosts whilst he’s waiting for a ride back home to his dimension. Outsider POV, Ben's POV. This occurs during some nebulous Ultimate Alien Time Frame and during DP canon. Danny is just 14  AO3 Link

Part 2(ish)

Night had fallen. Empty air yawned endlessly across a teary field of grass. The full moon’s light suffocated beneath thick dim clouds. A chilling mist seeped across the moor, and haunting balls of light flickered and danced around a single boy. Then they disappeared.

Line Break

“Anomalous DNA detected”

“Yeah okay, but how far away is it?” Ben is exasperated. They’ve been walking for nearly 20 minutes and there’s been nothing. For a moment Ben thought he’d seen some glowing lights in the misty distance but there was nothing as he walked closer.

“Anomalous DNA detected immediately ahead,” 

Ben stood still and scanned his surroundings. 

“Are you sure?”

“Anomalous DNA detected immediately ahead,” it repeated adamantly. Then the green scanning light erupted from the Omnimatrix in a 360 degree radius. 

“Anomalous DNA found. No match is found in the current database. Searching database for closest match”

There’s a pregnant pause. Nothing happens. There’s nothing to be seen.

“Are you broken?” Ben started fiddling with his watch. 

“Are you looking for me?”

“!” Ben jumps. He raises his watch in an offensive position.

In front of him was a teenager, a human teenage boy at that. He was the same age as him, maybe a few years younger. He had dark hair, blue eyes, and was dressed in modern normal looking Earth clothes, blue jeans and hoodie.

Ben looked left and right, “Where did you come from? Is there anyone else here with you?”

“Nah, it’s just you, me, and the ghosts”

“Hah funny. No seriously, you haven’t seen any aliens or something weird around here.”

The teen’s eyes drift to look behind Ben. Ben turns around but sees nothing. 

“... no,” the other teen hesitates. Ben is suspicious. 

“Why’d you hesitate?”

“Just thinking if I’ve seen anything weird,” they try to nonchalantly reply. 

Ben aims for soothing, “Hey it’s fine if you’re the alien. Or if you have alien parentage on one side or something. You’re not in trouble or anything.”

“I’m not an,” they stutter,  “an alien,” they deny. Warning bells ring in Ben’s head at the insistent denial. Ben straightens up.

“You know I never caught your name.”

“I never gave it to you.” After a moment’s consideration he offers, “You can call me Danny.”

“Alright Danny, what are you doing out here so late at night?”

“What are you doing out here so late at night?” Danny shoots back. “Also it’s polite to provide a name back.”

“You don’t know who I am?”

“Am I supposed to?”

“Yes! I’m Ben Tennyson, wielder of the Omnitrix,”

“I don’t know what that is, sorry.”

“You don’t know,” Ben’s mind had to reboot, “you don’t know the most powerful weapon in the universe?!” Ben lifts up his arm to emphasise his point by showing his watch. 

“It’s a nice watch,” Danny compliments, then he politely asks, “can you tell me the time?”

“... no”

Danny looks at Ben confused, “You can’t tell the time with your watch?”

“It’s the Omnimatrix, ” Ben stresses. 

“I still don’t know what that is.”

“You’re not from around here, are you?” Ben abruptly declares.

Danny smiles sheepishly, “Is it that obvious?”

“Yes,” Ben states flatly. He tilts his head and considers Danny, “So what is it, dimensional travel?”

Danny was taken aback, “Err yes, how’d you guess?”

“You've never heard of me,” Ben answers dismissively.

Danny squints his eyes, “I can’t tell if you’re big-headed or if that’s actually an accurate indicator of dimensional travel.”

“Danny, my name is known throughout the universe, the multiverse even. If you’ve never heard of me or at least of the Omnitrix then it’s because it doesn’t exist in your dimension.”

“Still sounds big-headed.” 

“Whatever, so are you stranded here?”

“Sorta,” Danny admits, “I’m waiting for my ride though. They should turn up sooner or later.”

“Nice,” maybe with some luck this would resolve itself with no hassle. “So, if you don’t mind me asking, what are you? The Omnitrix would not have freaked out if you were just a baseline human from another dimension.”

“Oh well, I am half-ghost,” Danny tentatively admits. 

Ben pauses as he tries to understand what he heard.

“What do you mean by half-ghost?”

The Omnitrix pipes up, “Anomalous DNA Closest Match Found. Homosapien, DNA Match: 50%, Genetic Match: 50%, Closest Match Found: Ectonurite. DNA Match: 50%, Genetic match: 0.0106%. Conclusion: DNA Anomaly is an Human/Ectonurite-adjacent Hybrid.

“You’re part Ectonurite?!” Ben can’t believe that the teen next to him was related to Ghost Freak, even remotely. 

“I don’t know what that is. I am part ecto plasm. That’s what’s infused in my DNA”

“So it was your funky ghost genes, were what the Omnitrix had been picking up.”

“Hybrid-DNA has been recorded,” the Omnitrix supported, “Warning: Hybrid-DNA can not be used for transformations.”

Danny warily eyes the Omnitrix, “Aside from not telling the time, what exactly does your watch do again?”

“By recording alien DNA it can transform me into those aliens and their ultimate forms.”

“That’s so cool! How many can you turn into?!”

“I generally rotate between 10 at a time but I technically have access to like over a million different kinds of aliens.”

“Ancients, that’s so many! Have you met a million aliens?”

“Oh definitely not, but I have met a lot of aliens. I’ve had the Omnitrix since I was ten years old.”

“Still really cool, I haven’t met any aliens, at least none from outer space, because I guess ghosts could count. Have you been to outer space?”

“Yeah, plenty of times,” Ben grins, showing off.

Danny pouts, “Urgh I’m so jelly right now you can’t believe. All I meet are annoying ghosts.”

Ben smirks, “Well I mean, aliens can be annoying too,” he commiserates.  

A swirling portal opened high into the sky. It looked like a portal to the Null Void except in green. What looked like a small space shuttle flew out of the portal. 

“Ahh, that'll be my friends. Nice meeting you Alien Boy.”

“You too, Ghost Boy.”

Line Break

Ben watched Danny disappear with his friends through the portal. Whilst walking back, he realised that it was brighter. Throughout the mist ethereal balls of light illuminated the field.

Okay, the Chlo-kai watch Au is pretty good, but lets take it a step further

Because of her time using the miraculous, Chloé can eventually access a different function from the watch as it intermingles withsome residual magic, basicly becoming a Yo-kai omnimatrix/miraculous combo.

When she first gets a medallion, she can use it to gain a basic costume and use the most basic version of that Yo-kais power. As she strengthens the bonds between her and the yo-kai, she'll be able to use the powers at higher level and her costume become more eleaborate to reflect it.

At max bond however, there's no more costume as she fully becomes the Yo-kai and can use the power at full strength just like the Yo-kai can.

Um, uh, I kinda wanted to ask you something- see, I'm this shapeshifting fae who looks somewhat human at first glance, but turns into a certain set of animals at will. This kinda reminded me of the omnimatrix, but horribly limited and not aliens, so I wanted to ask-

Did you ever have a shift where you were one of the aliens in the omnimatrix and it kept on switching? Like humungasaur one moment and water hazard the next? I've been having that for weeks now.

I don't rapid-shift like that, but I do have shifts of my alien forms pretty regularly. But they aren't persistent like my bison/gnoll/Ben shifts are - they usually only last 5-10 minutes, then it's over.

Shifting is different for everyone, so I can't say rapid shifts are abnormal or bad, if that's what you're worried about. It's just another kind of shifting. I've heard of polymorphs going through this, it's not at all surprising that a shapeshifter could experience it too!

I'm afraid I don't have any tips on how to stop it. Perhaps someone else reading this does?

At the end of Ben 10 Alien Force, season 2, (after stopping the Hybreed genocide by giving them gene therapy) Ben is aware that the omnitrix has a digital replica of his voice with which it can communicate with him, and that it can alter other people’s genes from a distance. I think Ben should have asked it many questions when the war was over.

So far I’ve got:

Can Albedo be returned to his original form? Cause body dysphoria sucks without being forced to occupy a brain that can’t go as fast as your original one did. Albedo is being tortured.

Is it modifying his body in some way.

Can it modify his body in some way?

Why did it originally give him the wrong aliens and time out at largely random?

How to prevent other people from transforming him without his consent.

What is powering it and how can it give him extra mass or take his mass away without killing him?

Any other questions you would ask the omnitrix in Ben’s position?

kevin and ben (classic series but with feedback)

being alone in the world

reasons:

A. Gwen and max die saving ben/Kevin from vilgax

B. Ben just left with Kevin in his appearance episode

C. kidnaped/trafficked

D. ben lost Gwen and max and is trying to find them with Kevin's help (would probably be set before Kevin's first appearance)

E. ben just got the omnitrix and was terrified of what Gwen and Max would think of him becoming alien monsters and ran away in fear at some point meeting Kevin (probably at the beginning of the story)

F. ben ran away after being fused with feedbacks DNA during the malware even

if something like this exists please tell me =]

so it goes around the same except as malware is pulling feedback out of the omnimatrix the timeline changes

Malware was suddenly hit by something (gwen magic or max weapon) causing the DNA he was pulling out of the omnitrix to fuse into bens normal DNA making him a (to ben) horrifying fusion between a Conductoid and human

in fear of himself ben ran off into the forest abandoning Gwen and Max

after a while he ended up at a camp where people where running away from something still trying to be a hero ben tried to ask what they where running from but only made the people's fear worse

he soon found out it was kevin they where running from who had only recently left the knull void (did they ever say how idk)

also to my knowledge Gwen cant do tracking spells yet so this is here incase she can

Gwen tried to find ben with a tracking spell but it didn't work as his DNA was to messed up to be recognised

New World, New Friends and New Enemies ( 2/2)

Ben 10/ KN8

Ben: Owwww….What the heck just happened….

Ben felt like he just hit in the head with a Baseball. Ben began too stand up while rubbing his head too try and focus. It was during this when Ben remembered what hasd been hoing on. He began too frantically look around only too notice something very important.

Ben: Where am I?

Ben was in an alleyway, confusingly enough. Ben had regained a bit of strength and his headache was quickly dissipateing so he made his way too the alleyway entrance calling out Grandpa Max and Gwen's names hoping that he get a response. When Ben walked out of the alley way he was met a by a surprising sight.

Ben was on a city street that looked very different from the Town he was in. Scanning the area his eyes immediately latched onto something, a sign that was written in Japanese. In all honeaty Ben knew it was Japanese Kanji immediately thanks too the fact he loves Sumo Slammers so much. Normally Ben would not be understand what the Kanji was saying but thanks too the Omnitrix's universal translator undersranding and speaking Japanese would be no problem what so ever. Though why was their a sign in Japanese. The town he was in was in Orgeon and he didn't see it when going around the town. Hmmm eh he probably just missed it the first time, anyway that could wait finding Grandpa and Gwen was more important. Ben begin too walk down the street hoping too find his family or at least a familiar sight.

5 Minutes Later-

Ok something was very VERY wrong here. The town Ben was in was not at all this big, there are Japanese signs everywhere, and Ben recognized absolutely nothing. What in the world is going on? Heck is Ben even in the U.S anymore? Did…Did that Space machine thingy send Ben too Japan?! Oh Man, this would be so cool under different circumstances, he always wanted too go to Japan. Though this was go if that was the case, he was still o Earth and could just call his home or…

Ben: I could just run back home with XLR8 shouldn't take more than 10 minutes or maybe less I never actually ran that distance before. Whelp! No time like the present as they say!

Ben quickly ducked behind a Diner and activated the Omnitrix and began twisting the dial. However this is when Ben noticed something, he did not at all recognize the silhouette. It was bulky and looked like it was wearing armor, it did not resemble any of Alien silhouette he has seen. Well maybe it was a new one, he can check it out when he gets home. Switch to the next one Ben saw another Silhouette he did not recognize this one of a tall looking Alien with what seemed too be a moustache. Another new Alien? Ben switched the Dial again, only too see a Alien that had a silhouette similar too a Gorilla and looked a bit lanky.

Another one Ben did not recognize.

Uh Oh

Ben began too switch through all his available Transformations were very big problems made it self known. Ben was back too only 10 Transformations and out of those 10 transformations Ben only recognized one, which was Upchuck's silhouette and even then Upchuck's silhouette looked a tiny bit different.

Ben: Aw Man this is not good! I recognize almost none of these guys and even Upchuck looks a tiny bit different. Why do I only have… Ah it must be because of that stupid explosion it must have messed with the Omnitrix.

Great this was just Great! What if the Omnitrix is seriously damaged or something! Hmm WAIT! Ben could actually check, he found out how when he visiting Galvan Prime and was adamant that Azmuth tell him something new about what the Omnitrix could do. Azmuth did after a bit, he showed Ben how too run Diagnostic Commands, not very exciting or cool at all but right now that was invaluable.

Ben would have too thank Azmuth the next time he saw him.

Ben: Ok I hope I do this right… Omnimatrix run General Diagnostics on current status

After a few seconds the watch glowed too life and began speaking

Omnitrix: General Diagnostics examination…. Multiple anomalies found within DNA! Cause of anomalies, energy influx has caused instability among DNA. Omnimatrix is currently executing Restoration Function too remove the anomalies. The DNA that is currently affected by the Energy Influx has been locked and another Roster has been added.

Well at the very least the Transformations are being fixed but who knows how long that will take. Ben decided too ask too see if it would take a couple days or something.

Omnitrix: Estimated Time for DNA Restoration is unknown

Ben:…Huhhhh. Well that's not great. Maybe Azmuth could fix it later? Well let's check something else. Omnimatrix current time on Transformation Duration.

Omnitrix: Current Transformation Duration Time is 25 Minutes.

That again is not good, that is about 15 minutes less than what it usually is. Maybe that Restoration thing is taking up energy or something. It has been just problem after problem right now. Ok so their is now way he can get back home with his current transformations or at least he assumed, but he was not taking the chance of Timeing Out over the Pacific, so it was time too make a call. Another handy function is that the Omnitrix acted as a cellphone.

Once again the Omnitrix could not. Ben tried one final call that if this failed he knew something absolutely catastrophic happened

A sinking feeling began too afflict Ben. What was going on? None of this made sense? How could he not contact Azmuth of all people. Ben began too walk too try and think of what could be happening and the Universe decided to give Ben that answer. As during Ben's walking, he walked past a TV store that constantly played the News and caught sight of a jaw dropping live broadcast.

A….Kaiju attack?!

2 Hours A whole 2 hours have passed since Ben saw that broadcast about a flipping KAIJU?!?!?! Not only that the News Anchor went on too talk about recent Kaiju attacks and how something called the Defense Force had eliminated the Kaiju earlier today. Ben has fully accepted that his World, heck his entire Universe is weird however Ben knew that their were no Kaiju emergences and an entire Force set up too defeat them. Everything that had happened in the past few hours, being unable too call anyone even Azmuth and now knowing about the Kaiju could only mean one thing…

Ben was no longer in his own Universe

This was truly a worst case scenario, being on another continent or even another Planet would be better. Instead Ben was in a whole other Universe were everything was basically new. How was Grandpa Max and Gwen going too find him…wait Azmuth! If Ben couldn't call Azmuth than that means Azmuth can't track the Omnitrix. Azmuth will definitely come too Earth too find Ben and meet up with Grandpa Max and Gwen. They all will come up with a machine too find and bring Ben back home. Though than the main problem is now for him now is simply time…again. Ben will just have too sit tight and wait for everyone too find him.

The question now is where and how as Ben going too live for the time being?

Kafka was concerned too put it lightly

Kafka and his fellow Monster Sweepers had finally finished up a big clean up downtown and all went too Bonniy's too celebrate a job well done. That we he first caught sight of a kid sitting on a bench in front of the diner. Kafka at first just assumed the kid was out exploring or maybe waiting for his parents. He didn't have much time to think about as his attention was drawn back too his friends, though not before catching a gloomy look on the kid's face.

For the next couple of hours Kafka ate and drank with his co-workers, laughing and having fun. Though Kafka couldn't help but notice something, that kid on the bench was still there even after an hour had passed. Had the kid fallen asleep while sitting there? No he was awake and looked like he was fidgeting around with some weird looking watch. Ok now Kafka was getting worried and would look again after another half hour had passed. The kid was still there and it kept on like that for another hour. Until about 2 hours had passed with the Kid not getting up too move and more than likely go back home or someone too pick up the kid. Eventually Kafka parted ways with all his friends and was getting ready too gome too as the sun was setting when his attention shifted back too the kid sitting lonesomely on the bench.

That's it! Kafka was was way too worried at this point too let this be. Kafka would at least make sure the kid was ok. Walking up too the kid, Kafka gebtly introduced himself too the kid. The kid was a bit surprised but that quickly morphed into curiosity as too what this man wanted. Kafka quickly got down too brass tacks and asked if the kid was ok because he noticed while he was out with his friends that the kid had not left the bench, since he got here which was over 2 hours ago at this point. Kafka asked why he was waiting in this one spot.

Ben didn't really know how too answer that. Of course their was the truth of the matter thay he was lost in another universe and had no idea where too go from here, but something told Ben that would not go over well. Well maybe Ben should tell half of the story, maybe that would work?

Ben: Well I sorta got a bit lost and trying too think about how too get home from here.

This may have not been the best answer as Kafka's look of concern turned into full blown worry.

Kafka: What?! That's terrible we need too get you home quick. It's dangerous out at night and your parents most be worried sick!

Kafka was in full blown parenting mode at this point. He asked if Ben knew his address and or had a phone number too call. Both of which Ben responded no too for obvious reasons for Ben anyway. Kafka's brows furrowed at that and decided that the next course action would be too walk around the area with Ben too see if he recognized anything. Ben had unintentinally gotten himself a chaperone, and seeing no immediate way out of this mess went along with Kafka while he tried too think of a way too get out of this. Of course the 2 introduced themselves too eachother and Kafka was abit curious at Ben's name as it definitely was not of Japanese origin.

Kafka began too walk around the citu with Ben asking if any of the surronding areas looked familiar. Ben of course answered no while he thought of away too get out of this situation.

Ben's Thoughts: Ok think Ben! You have too somehow convince Mr. Hibino that you found your house and can go back home. I could just randomly say I know how too get back home from here but what if he wants too make sure I get home safely hmmm…

As Ben thinking Kafka noticed Ben's thinking look and Kafka thought that maybe Ben maybe recognized the area and was about too ask when something grabbed both of their attention. A loud rumbling sound echoed through out the streets.

Ben: Was that construction work or something?

Ben asked Kafka who himself was trying too figure out the cause. This rumbling and shaking sounded like something shaking the ground with each step.

Ben and Kafka had both gone on guard when the shaking got worse and sone enough the culprit behind the noise made itself known. A Kaiju as big as a house stomped around the corner, a big white pale skin body with six legs each haveing claws on the end. It had no eyes but had horns like a battering ram and a tusk on each side of it's creepy mouth.

A Kaiju and a strong looking one at that.

Kafka felt his blood turn as cold as Artic Water, Ben on the other hand was shocked and instinctually hovered his hand over the Omnitrix. Ben stopped short of hitting the dial unsure of what too do as he was around Kafka and did not want too scare the guy. Kafka grabbed Ben's hand quickly put the youth behind him and quietly as possible told him too back away and stay quite, Ben decided too listen and began too back away.

Kafka recognized this type of Kaiju. Reptillian Type, Subterreian, Eye sight was poor as they had evolved too have incredibly tiny eyes since they lived underground or in caverns in mountainess areas. Smell and Hearing extremely good and could tear apart a city block in about 10 minutes with their horns and tusks, their claws made them excellent climbers and were as sharp as a blade. Incredibly dangerous and were considered Top Tier Yoju.

Kafka quickly ran through all the information he knew about the Yoju trying too think of how too escape with Ben safely. So far Kafka's strategy of keeping quite and backing away slowly was working…. until the Yoju looked in their direction and took a couple whiffs of the air before turning fully in their direction

Kafka: Ben Run!

Before the Yoju let out a roar and began it's charge. Kafka and Ben immediately ran turning the corner of the street and ran down it. The Yoju couldn't make such a sharp turn a crashed into a store building giving the duo a bit more time too run away. However the Yoju quickly got up and gained speed on the duo.

Kafka began too look around frantically before spotting a back alleyway shopping area that was way too small for the Yoju. He grabbed Ben's hand and quickly led him too the entrance of the alleyway. The Yoju right behind them chased after the duo, thankfully they made it just in time as the Yoju slammed into the wall halting it's movement. The impact however sent the duo flying through the alleyway with Kafka grabbing onto Ben tok shield the youth from the fall. Earning Kafka some bloody scrapes on his left arm.

The Yoju rammed the entrance again causing rubble too fall into the alleyway, which unfortunately began too block escape routes. Kafka got up and asked if Ben was ok.

Ben: Ya I'm fine, but what about you Kafka?!

Ben asked in concern and that concern only deepened when he saw Kafka clutch his left arm in mild discomfort.

Kafka: I will be! The important thing is getting you out of here!

Kafka immediately began too look around for any escape routes. Only too see all the paths blocked.

Kafka Thought's: DAMNIT!!! All the paths are blocked and we won't survive for much longer. The walls of the alleyway were reinforced but it would only buy them an extra minute or two. Kafka turned back too Ben who had worried look on his face and Kafka knew he had too protect Ben. He promised he would protect and help people. Kafka than had an idea that would hopefully buy Ben enough time for the Defense Force too get hear.

Kafka: Ben hide in the alley way I will draw away the Yoju! The Defense Force will hopefully be hear than!

Ben: WHAT!!! That Monster will kill you if you go out there.

Kafka: Don't worry Ben I will be fine I promise.

Kafka was obviously trying too try and comfort Ben, but Ben knew that Kafka was lying as too not further Ben's panic. Kafka would die if he went out their and Ben refused too let that happen.

Ben: Actually I have better idea Kafka

Ben took a step back and before Kafka could say anything he was taken off huard by Ben tapping the dial on his watch and seeing the dial pop up. Ben looked at the silhouette not knowing what this Alien could do, well no time like the present.

Ben: IT'S HERO TIME!!!

Ben slammed down on the dial and soon he felt his body begin too morph. Kafka backed away the green flash momentarily causing him too close his eyes. When Kafka opened his eyes he was met with the most shocking sight. In Ben places stood a white humanoid creature about the same height as Ben with green glowing rectangular eyes, what looked like headphones on his head, and a hood like a hoodie has that was currently pulled down.

Kafka:

Ben: Alright let's see what this guy can do

Ben said in static and echo filled voice. Ben rushed out too confront the Yoju who noticed the newcomer and took a second too get Ben's smell down again before charging.

Ben: Uh oh gotta split!

Ben did not know wether too duck left or right before deciding too go too the right. Well on of Ben decided too duck right as this caused Ben too split into 2 with the copy going left. Both dodgeing the charge of the Yoju. This immediately caught both Ben's attention as both noticed as they split apart and realizing this form had duplication. The Yoju began too sniff the air again realizing that the scent was now in too places causing confusion. Both Ben's acted quickly and further duplicated causing further confusion for the Kaiju as soon 10 Ben's were around the Kaiju making the Yoju become indecisive, not understanding why the scent was coming from all over the place.

Ben 4: Ok it looks confused, what should we do now?

Ben 7: we should be attacking it!

Ben 2: How do we attack it?! We have no idea if this transformation can do anything else!

Ben 1: Try everything! Punching, breathing, even spitting!

All the copy began too punch, breath out really hard, or see if their hands could shoot out something. The Yoju was getting agitated and was about too attack, but at the same time Ben 8 cracked the code.

A Super Sonic Shout echoed out and hit the Yoju, pushing the Yoju back and causing it too grip it's head in extreme pain.

Ben 8: IT'S SOUND!!! WE CAN YELL OUT SUPER SONIC WAVES!!!

All the copys immediately rushed too take advantage of this and circled the still dazed Yoju. All the Copys circled the Yoju and began too let out a syncronized Super Sonic Shoot causing the Yoju extreme pain. All the Copys kept this up until the Yoju fell too the ground having been knocked out by the Sonic Waves.

Ben 1: AW YA!!! That's what happens when you mess with…AHA! Echo-Echo!!!

Ben 3: LET'S GOOOO

Ben 10: Another Giant Creature butt-kicking!!!

Ben 2: This form is AWESOME!!!!

Ben 8: OH YA we thrashed a Kaiju…wait what about Kafka.

At the mention of Kafka all Echo-Echo's went into the alleyway too check up on a stunned Kafka who saw the entire battle. They asked if Kafka was ok and he simply let out a "Ya I'm fine" much too the relief of all the Echo-Echos before Kafka let out a shout

Kafka: BEN!!! HOW DID YOU TRANSFORM AND LET OUT THAT SONIC SHOUT AND AND WHAT IS GOING ON!!!

All the Echo-Echos looked at each other before

This is honestly how a meeting between them would go. Ben can't read anything and has zero clue about where in Japan he even is. Nevermind the kaiju so he would just sit there before someone confronts him i.e Kafka.

He's definitely the type to house a lost kid if need be. The man would also run into kaiju at the worst time. Kafka definitely has a hand in recording Ben's new forms as it's pretty clear the watch doesn't give him any info about the form he uses.

Ben 10 Retold: Animatrix.

Azmuth's own version of the Nemetrix.

The Animalia Omnimatrix,otherwise known as the Animatrix.

After seeing potential in the Nemetrix,Azmuth decided to develop his own version of the device.

Features:

Like the Nemetrix,the Animatrix has the ability to transform the user into non-sapient beings.

The user can transform via commands or on their own.

The Animatrix has a Quick Change feature,wich allows the user to transform between forms mentally or through commands.

Unlike the Nemetrix,the Animatrix has a Capture Mode feature,wich allows the user to collect DNA samples from around the universe into the device (thus,giving the user access to new transformations).

The Animatrix has a Power Out function and Recharge Mode.

Non-features:

Only non-sapient beings can wield the Nemetrix properly,as sapient beings are unable to have their mind merged into non-sapient beings through the Animatrix.
