"Don't worry," he says. The sound of his voice, low and sultry, is enough to send a shiver running up and down your spine, but it's the way his lips ghost across the shell of your ear that threatens to do you in as he continues, "I won't hurt you." That's a red flag, you think, squeezing your eyes shut. Which means you should expect the opposite and prepare for the worst. Run, maybe. As if sensing your inner turmoil, his arm snakes around your waist, gently forcing you back against him and holding you in place. His glasses glint ominously as he rests his chin on top of your shoulder.

"Don't run." He chuckles, and his breath tickles your neck. You open your mouth, prepared to tell him that you won't, that you're not thinking about it, that you would never think about it, but the words won't come. And then, your heart drops. "You won't get very far."

"--cut!"

You let out a shaky breath as Yamato slowly releases you, your heart still thumping loudly in your chest. It's not real, you remind yourself, but it's easy to forget these things when the one you're acting opposite is so skilled at his craft. Breathing deeply, you steel your nerves and turn around to face the handsome idol.

"Please don't murder me again, Yamato-san. I still have nightmares from the last ten times."

im a slut for post magic reveal arthur (& knights) thinking merlin has like. a smidge of magic. like he can get stains out of clothes or warm food and baths but OBVIOUSLY merlin can’t fight. that’s ridiculous. merlin doesn’t correct this notion for whatever reason - perhaps it’s best that people think that so when they’re all in danger, he isn’t registered as a threat so he can protect his silly lil guys. ofc his silly lil guys realize that they were wrong bc the bad guys get a lil too close to hurting arthur and merlin is like “nope! fights over!!” and annihilates them

Anson Mount at Star Trek: Las Vegas convention 2023

Pictures and fun Twitter reactions of Anson being at STLV 2023 promoting Star Trek: Strange New Worlds alongside fellow cast members, August 4 2023.

The lines at his autograph table are reportedly huge! A fan posted a video of the waiting line and wrote on Twitter: "If you want an idea of the most popular #StarTrek show and cast at the moment, this was the line for an Anson Mount autograph today at #STLV. By far the longest."

Anson will be doing more autographs and photo-ops over the weekend! Judging by the photo session pictures taken with fans, he is wearing a Captain Pike inspired belt buckle, with the likeness of Captain Pike actor Jeffrey Hunter from Star Trek: The Original Series. :)
