After weeks of deliberating, brainstorming and voting, all of us from the Omega Red Army Discord server are very excited and happy to announce the first-ever Omega Red Week!
The idea first stemmed from holding a vote on the server to decide which day to celebrate Arkady’s birthday together, which we agreed will be celebrated by all of us on Aug. 14. And then, the idea just grew from there into what will be a week-long celebration of Arkady. With luck? Hopefully, it's an annual one.
So, how will this work? We have selected seven themes, which will be the subject of fanfiction and/or fanart that we will create and share with all of you during the week of Aug. 10-16. We all hope you will enjoy the things we come up with!
This event is not just limited to us on the server, however. Everyone is invited to take part in any way they can following the themes we have chosen. You can do one day or all seven -- however you want to celebrate Omega Red during the week, however you want to express your love and appreciation of his character -- we will be very glad to have your creations sharing your love of Arkady to be posted along with us! Just be sure to tag your posts #omega red week 2025 during the week of Aug. 10-16. We'll all be celebrating what makes Omega Red special to us.
Let's continue to make 2025 Omega Red’s year!!

Interview with British Vogue (2025)
Tumblr media
Jonathan Bailey has always flatly refused to pose topless on a shoot. For Vogue, he relented. How come? “There was this pair of Loewe trousers and I thought, ‘Fucking hell, what an incredible silhouette.’ No one suggested it, I just knew it was right.” He pauses. “But please don’t mention I said I’m always asked to take my top off.” I plead with him. “OK,” he replies. “It’s the truth.”
But why all the prudishness? Didn’t he reveal his naked bum in season one of Netflix’s phenomenally successful Regency romp, Bridgerton? It was quite the performance, I say. Has it been nominated for any awards? “Not yet,” he replies, rolling his eyes.
We are lounging on a velvet sofa in an anteroom at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane, the location a nod to the Brit’s imminent, post-stratosphere-hitting return to the West End. He was last on the London stage in 2022, in Mike Bartlett’s Cock at the Ambassadors Theatre, already a star, and yet the 36-year-old’s wattage has continued to grow and grow. Any attempt on my part to observe him dispassionately disappears quickly. His dark-haired and unshaven beauty is too intoxicating, as is his style. He is male-model catwalk-ready in pale blue Levi’s, an ivory Sunspel rib-knit short-sleeved polo shirt, off-white slip-on suede Birkenstocks and beige socks. M&S? “Uniqlo – they’re my favourite holey socks,” he answers, raising a tanned, muscular arm (an Omega De Ville watch dangles from his wrist) to scratch his head. His biceps look like they’ve done time in the gym. “I did that on purpose so you’d notice,” he says cheekily. “I’ve got real gunnage.”
Bailey has managed to achieve what was once thought impossible in Hollywood. He is among a new guard of out actors to be lusted over by men and women (the latter tag him their “internet boyfriend”) while also evading falling into a gender pigeonhole, snagging roles of every persuasion. Tragedy, comedy, singing, dancing, stage, big screen, small screen, fashion week, fan mobbings… he can do it all. Scarlett Johansson, his costar in next year’s looming instalment of the Jurassic Park franchise, recently gushed on the red carpet: “I adore absolutely every single thing about that man.”
Bailey, who despite a tightly honed skill set never attended drama school, has been acting since the age of seven, when he was scouted by the Royal Shakespeare Company to star in its production of A Christmas Carol at the Barbican Theatre. But it was in 2020 that he became swarmed-in-the-streets famous, following his performance as Lord Anthony Bridgerton (the second series, in which his character, a viscount, took centre stage, became the most-watched English language series on Netflix). Hollywood beckoned. Now, he’s riding a wave of Wicked mania, his career having been taken to a whole new level thanks to his turn as the fleet-footed, high note-hitting, dashing male lead, Fiyero, opposite Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande in the big-screen musical, not to mention the accompanying press tour to end all press tours. Next year, he’ll go on to star in the aforementioned Jurassic World Rebirth. True blockbuster fare.
Theatre, though, has been his foundation. A run of television hits (he has starred on the small screen in W1A, Bramwell, Broadchurch, Heartstopper, Fellow Travelers and Leonardo, among others) has been built from, and woven through with, a long career on stage – notable roles in the past decade, aside from Cock, include Company, King Lear, The York Realist and Othello. He has a shelf full of shiny hardware, with awards including an Olivier for best actor in a supporting role in a musical, for playing panicked groom-to-be Jamie in Marianne Elliott’s 2018 production of Stephen Sondheim’s Company, and a Critics Choice Award for best supporting actor in a limited series or movie made for television in Fellow Travelers earlier this year. On balance, he loves the protection of being on stage – how immersive it feels, how he feeds off the reactions of an audience. “There’s security in the theatre community,” he says.
And so, he is ready to make a return to live performance. His next role feels like a career zenith. In February, he will appear as Richard II in director Nicholas Hytner’s production at the Bridge Theatre. It is his most high-profile Shakespearean role to date, his second with Hytner, who first cast him as Cassio in Othello at the National Theatre in 2013. “People talk about fame and Bridgerton, but the one moment where I really thought I’d made it was when Nicholas cast me as Cassio 10 years ago,” says Bailey. “He gave me the biggest break. He’s been an incredible mentor. With Richard II, I am returning not just to a play, but to a theatre director. He’s seen me freak out in the rehearsal room. He’s seen me sobbing.”
On Bailey’s far-reaching talent, Hytner tells me: “Jonny is eloquent, mercurial, intelligent and transparent.” The star director is giving little away ahead of the production, only to comment it will reveal: “a feudal world on the cusp of modernity”. He recalls: “As Cassio in Othello – and later as Edgar to Ian McKellen’s King Lear, which I didn’t direct – he had the rare ability to speak Shakespeare as if it’s his first language. His imagination is vivid enough to put himself directly in the position of characters… It becomes completely natural in his hands.” Doubtless he will lean heavily on Bailey’s gifts for precision wit, dark charm and petulance for the flawed, weak Richard. “What do you do when a ruler is absolutely inadequate?” Hytner wonders. “How do you get rid of the rightful leader?”
In person, Bailey’s flair is plain as day. He’s not just stylish – he is friends with Loewe creative director Jonathan Anderson, who dressed him for 2024’s Met Gala (and whom he designed a T-shirt with for the LGBTQ+ initiative he recently founded, The Shameless Fund), has worn Givenchy on the red carpet and modelled Emporio Armani eyewear in its latest campaign – but also intoxicatingly charismatic. He laughs readily and expansively, gesticulating often, occasionally jumping up like a young Rudolf Nureyev about to leap, before crashing back down and curling his legs underneath him. The writer and actor Phoebe Waller-Bridge, whom he costarred with in her 2016 miniseries Crashing (a precursor to Fleabag), once described him as “a meteorite of fun”. I can see why.
“There’s a big wonderful tribe of friends in London to which we both belong,” longtime friend and actor Andrew Scott tells me. “As well as being the most charismatic and gifted performer, he’s always struck me as someone who adores and prioritises his friends and family and loved ones. That counts for so much in my book. It’s so wonderful to watch Jonny soar.”
So too is he eloquent and honest, especially when we veer to the more personal, such as what it was like growing up questioning his sexuality and how he only came out as gay to his family and close friends in his early 20s. Did he have a sense of his sexuality from a young age? He indicates it was more of a gradual realisation, mentioning how he went out with a girl for two years in his early 20s. “It’s interesting with the binary,” he says, “where you’re perceived to be either this or that. That’s how I saw it at the time, but there are so many nuances to it. My experience of that relationship was not that I was in the shadows. She remains one of my best friends.”
“I think other people understood my sexuality before I was even aware of it,” he continues. As a young boy, he remembers rummaging through the family’s dressing-up box, jumping around and being flamboyant, and entertaining his grannies by singing and dancing whenever he stayed with them. He sounds like Billy Elliot. “A bit, but really Shirley Temple, if I’m honest.” He credits his parents with encouraging him to take up ballet. “I remember looking through the window at these girls at school in their tutus. They were doing, like, first position, second position, and I knew I just wanted to be in there.”
One night at a sleepover with primary school friends he remembers excitedly asking them: “‘Guys, guys, who else thinks they’re gay? Do you? I do. I do.’ It was a conversation I really, really wanted to have, to see if everyone else was on the same page,” he says. “But everyone went quiet.” Then a teacher called him out in front of the whole class. “I was having trouble with my work and he said, ‘Well, if you weren’t so busy being a fairy you’d understand.’”
More recently, and in addition to his work with The Shameless Fund, he became a patron for the charity Just Like Us, which aims to ensure young LGBTQ+ people in school and beyond can thrive. He is keenly aware of the challenges that still exist, even in the everyday. “I’ve always been a confident hand-holder in relationships,” he says. “I had a boyfriend who wasn’t experienced at holding hands in public. We got heckled in London. But that kind of behaviour is now outweighed by the smiles you get.” Is he currently in a relationship? “Not discussing that,” he answers, sharply.
We talk instead about how he deals with the nature of fame. “It felt quite hard-hitting after Bridgerton came out,” he says. “I really struggled initially; I was overwhelmed by it. But the people in your life have to adapt too. That’s the hardest thing: you see them struggling before you see it in yourself, someone pushing past your dear mum and dad to get a picture. I’m really good now at saying no to photos.” Does he think he might become too big for his boots? “Let’s see,” he says. “It would be good if you could keep your eye on me as we go through the next few years, tell me if I’m doing well or I’ve fallen down the [fame] hole.”
Friends like Andrew Scott will no doubt help keep him grounded. “The search for us to be in the right thing together is on,” says Scott. “Bert and Ernie the movie is the frontrunner, it just depends on who’s willing to shave off their eyebrows.”
Bailey was brought up in Wallingford, Oxfordshire, along with three older sisters, and later attended The Oratory School. His mother was an audiologist and his father, a one-time DJ who played in Sloopy’s, a ’70s nightclub just off Piccadilly Circus, would go on to become the managing director of Rowse Honey. “Every time I see an easy-squeezy bottle of honey I think my dad was an absolute legend.”
He was five when his grandmother took him to see Oliver! in the West End. He knew at that moment he had found his calling. His first acting role was at school, where he played a raindrop in Noah’s Ark. A year after starring in A Christmas Carol at the Barbican, he landed the role of Gavroche in the West End production of Les Misérables.
In 2017, he appeared in King Lear at the Chichester Festival Theatre, as Edgar, opposite McKellen in the title role. “We had amazing conversations,” he says of his costar. “I was like: ‘Tell me everything. Tell me what it was like back in the day.’ I assumed everyone would have been happily expressing themselves, fucking in the wings, all the things you’d hoped. And he said, ‘No, no. No one knew, not even in the most creative pockets.’”
But liberation can be found on stage too. Cock, as its title suggests, focused on some of the thornier realities of gay romance and proved life-changing for Bailey. “I was able to mine and explore and have this experience on stage which felt like everything I would want for my life. It was all about a boy coming out and falling in love at school, and somehow by experiencing it within someone else’s story, you can dress-rehearse your own life.”
We discuss his most recently released film, Wicked (a two-part adaptation of the hit musical, the second instalment of which will drop towards the end of 2025). “What did you think of it? Did you like it?” he asks nervously. I tell him I’m not usually a fan of musicals, but it took me by surprise and I found it emotionally touching. He breathes a sigh of relief. “Isn’t it lovely, isn’t it special, isn’t it actually!” he says, bouncing on his knees like an excitable teenager. “You’re the first person I’ve spoken to who’s seen it. When I watched it, I sobbed. I think it’s a masterpiece.”
For now, having just finished filming the latest season of Bridgerton, he’s finally taking a break. “Everything else is on pause until Richard II opens.” He admits finding it difficult going between roles and his everyday life in Brighton, where he moved in 2020 so he could be close both to the sea, which he loves, and his mother’s side of the family who live there. “It can be a hard, cold transition, so I get back to friends as soon as possible or I go travelling. I love Salento in Italy – I try and go every year.” Is he tempted to move to the US? “No. That’s a hard no,” he says. “I love New York theatre, so maybe, but it would be led by work.”
He says that, more than anything, he yearns for quiet. He spends time in nature, either walking, paddleboarding or mountaineering (in 2018, he hiked to Everest base camp and a year later climbed Ben Nevis, Snowdon and Scafell Pike in 24 hours in aid of a motor neurone disease charity), as well as cold-swimming in the sea and cycling (he has competed in marathons and triathlons). He likes the calm those activities bring him but always takes his noise-cancelling headphones wherever he goes. “I feel naked if I forget them.” What does he listen to? “I go through phases, most recently ’60s and ’70s California rock, and The Beatles.” But surely he parties too? “I love a dirty martini,” he says. “The dirtier the better. But really I’m obsessed with breakfast, especially oats. Sometimes I make my own granola. I just love a seed.”
While he might not tell me if he’s in a relationship, he is surprisingly candid when I ask him if he wants children. “Yes, it’s such a privilege for a man,” he says. “But I can’t bring children into my lifestyle now.” Because he is so busy? “Yes,” he answers. I tell him it’s never a good time. “I want to make sure I’m going to be present. I’m reading books on adoption. I might coparent with a woman, but I’m thinking it will be with a man.”
Just as we’re about to say goodbye, he squeals, holding up his phone. “Andrew Scott has just texted me! He calls me ‘J-Bads’. I told him I was doing a Vogue shoot, with the total self-awareness of what that sounds like.” He slips on his Birkenstocks. “You know I’ve got them in Parma violet too,” he says, as he slinks out of the door, headphones on.

EPICA's SIMONE SIMONS To Release Debut Solo Album
Tumblr media
EPICA singer Simone Simons has announced plans to release her debut solo album. The LP's first single, "Aeterna", which was co-written by Dutch songwriter, singer, musician and record producer Arjen Lucassen (AYREON),will make its online debut on Tuesday, May 7 at 9:00 a.m. PDT / 12:00 p.m. (noon) EDT.
Earlier today, Simone took to her social media to share a teaser for the "Aeterna" music video, and she wrote in an accompanying message: "May 7th everything will turn RED. At 18.00 CEST my first single AETERNA will go live.
"@ayreon_official and I created some masterful melodies for you! We will go live on Instagram tomorrow at 18.30 to hang with you all and let you in on all the details of my solo album."
This past March, Simone told Mexico's Summa Inferno that EPICA's follow-up to 2021's "Omega" album will likely be released in 2025.
"I love the songs so far that we've written," Simone said. "There's more [songs that have been written] than fit on the album. So it's gonna be cool. And we won't tour that much this year. So we are focusing on the EPICA album and the 'Symphonic Synergy' shows [where EPICA will play alongside an orchestra], which is a lot of work."
In November 2022, EPICA released "The Alchemy Project" through Atomic Fire Records. The EP was co-written and performed with diverse guests ranging from extremists like FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE, Niilo Sevänen (INSOMNIUM) and Björn "Speed" Strid (SOILWORK) along with melodic masters like Tommy Karevik (KAMELOT),keyboard legend Phil Lanzon (URIAH HEEP) and Roel Van Helden (POWERWOLF) to a once-in-a-lifetime song with Simons, Charlotte Wessels and Myrkur.
Just one day after the release of its anniversary reissues "We Still Take You With Us" and "Live At Paradiso", EPICA celebrated 20 years of existence live in September 2022 at 013 in Tilburg, Netherlands, the same place where they played their first show (supporting ANATHEMA) back in 2002.
EPICA was formed by guitarist/vocalist Mark Jansen after leaving AFTER FOREVER in 2002, and the band quickly gained attention outside their home country, taking big steps towards becoming the leading symphonic metal superpower they have long proven to be. After their ambitious debut "The Phantom Agony" (2002) and the surprisingly eclectic sophomore work "Consign To Oblivion" (2005),the road took them to new heights via their first concept masterpiece "The Divine Conspiracy" (2007) and their global breakthrough "Design Your Universe" (2009). 2012's opus "Requiem For The Indifferent", 2014's bedazzling "The Quantum Enigma" and "The Holographic Principle" (2016),cemented their reputation as not only one of the hardest-working metal bands in the business but also as one of the best. With "Omega", the final part of the metaphysical trilogy they began with "The Quantum Enigma", they reclaimed the throne without so much as the blink of an eye, amassing three million-plus streams during the first week of the album's release.

Fourth World week 2025 day 7 free day
A Jack Kirby's Fourth fanfiction for @fourthworldweek event Fourth World week 2025 day 7 free day.
In the dark depths of Apokolips, a gray skin young man with red eyes and a normal skin man wearing green armor travel through the tunnels until they reach a big door where a woman and a man wearing a purple hood were waiting for them and the woman begs to the gray skin man, "Uxas, please change your mind. Desaad warn me about what you are about to do and we have come to stop you." and Uxas turn his head to the man wearing purple and said to him, "Desaad, you were not post to tell anyone about this." and the nervous Desaad said, "I was seeing to your safety, Prince Uxas. I serve my lord." Uxas said to Desaad, "You will put Suli at risk for this, Desaad." while the man wearing green ask Uxas, "Why did you bring that man from New Genesis to our home, Uxas?" which the prince answer, "Mayhem, I have to show my horrible mother proof that I can be cruel as father, but I'm not going to be a true monster like him. With his heart corrupted, Desaad has become a great help along with his sister Bernadeth, whose work with Gretchen in forming a strike force for my future rule when we will united Apokolips as one to overthrow my horrible mother and be a copy of our enemy." Uxas said to his friends, "My friends, and Desaad, for me to prove myself better than my parents, I must have a name that will speak power to all that hear it and I has choose the name of the Great Darkness itself. To calmed its name, I must do battle with it and best it." and Suli begs to Uxas, "But Uxas, you will be killed." which he said, "Fear not, Suli. The Omega Force will keep me alive and bring me victory." and Uxas open the door to the darkness.
The moment that he open the door, Uxas find himself falling through darkness and there is nothing but a empty void, which Uxas guess right away is the body of the Great Darkness itself. Just then, Uxas hear a voice speak to him, "So, you has come to take my name, little god. I'm Darkseid and I am the empty void, while you has just a prince trying to escape his past." Uxas shout to the Great Darkness, "I'm Uxas, the future ruler of Apokolips! My father, the cruel Yuga Zonuz, is the most powerful being in existence, and I have slay my own brother Drax for the Omega Force! I will calmed your name and bring Apokolips to greatness!" which the Great Darkness said, "Well then, Uxas! Best me as you can!" and Uxas feel himself getting attacked, but he cannot see who is attacking him. Uxas quickly use a beam of his Omega Force to blast, hitting something and cause the Great Darkness to scream and create a floor for Uxas to land on. As Uxas start to get up, a male voice speak, "Well done, young prince. You give it pain." and Uxas look up to see a older version of himself whose said to him, "Don't be afraid, Uxas. I'm you from a future where you has won. You wanted the name so I has been surrounded to see it." Uxas offer a hand for his future self to help him up, but Darkseid said to his younger self, "Please Uxas, you should have know better. There is no rule for a great ruler of Apokolpis to show weakness. The Great Darkness is a being of stability, which nothing must changed, and it has been known as the Long Quiet, as well being a shadow of the Source. You must cast your heart to darkness if you want the name of Darkseid for yourself, Uxas." While a bit stuned, Uxas understood what his future self means and he said, "I will. There will be no people rising and no change to the nature order of Apokolpis expect its ruler."
The three allies become worried for Uxas when he come forever and Suli said to her love, "Uxas." and he said to her, "I'm fine, Suli, but that is no longer my name. It is now Darkseid, and I ask you, members of my council to understand that, for Darkseid is."

Lightning Round Reviews #2
I read a lot of comics every week but don't have it in me to write a small dissertation about each one, so here's some thoughts about a few books! This time it's Amazing Spider-Man, Daredevil, The Incredible Hulk, Thunderbolts Doomstrike, Superman, Justice League Unlimited, and X-Manhunt Omega jesus lord that's a lot of comics. This is the big post for the week of March 26 2025.
The Amazing Spider-Man #70
Overall, 8 Deaths had two jobs: being a fun Spider-Man story post-Paul, and being a One World Under Doom tie-in. It did both of those well enough, and I’ll probably read the new ongoing when Kelly takes over. I did think it’s a little off-brand that Doom made objectively the right choice by getting Peter to do this, since so much of One World Under Doom’s tie-ins are about showing the cracks in his armor. But as they end, you kinda start feeling like the stories only really work if he was at least kinda right, or if he had a reasonable enough plan to make the world a better place by doing bad things first.
Overall a good time, even if I don’t like the current cast in Spider-Man aside from Bailey. Kelly’s still got it, the art was decent most of the time, and although it was a magic and mystic arts story with Spider-Man in it, I’m kinda glad it was also just a solid Spider-Man book.
Daredevil #19
This was really silly and I can’t believe this story lasted 19 issues. I really don’t have much to say aside from no one acts right in it and it asks me to care about things that just don’t feel right. That “choice” Ahmed had Matt make just doesn’t register and I don’t think it’s just me being cynical. I don’t know what the point of this was but it didn’t really do it for me.
Incredible Hulk #23
I feel like this book has meandered too much and it really needs that Imperial shake-up that has been announced. Maybe it was already supposed to have ended or maybe it’s stretching to get to the crossover, but it kinda… it’s kinda the same thing every issue, and this many issues in I’m kinda not interested anymore. It’s still well written and has great art, but nothing’s happening. It’s just kinda grotesque for the sake of aesthetics and then the characters do the same thing they’ve been doing for two years.
That shot of Hulk squeezing a demon out of Charlie’s skin like toothpaste was wild though. And you’re telling me Red Label books ever had a chance.

Thunderbolts Doomstrike #2
What’s even the point of liberating Austin, Texas from Doom. It’s not like Austin is isolated on a map, like… what about San Antonio? Can you just see the line where Austin ends now? Because the rest of the places have electricity? And schools? Hospitals even?
Like, look, I understand I’m supposed to be rooting for Bucky here, it’s just… yeah, no, he’s doing this for himself. Shelbyville was destroyed by Doom, yes, but he retaliated after Bucky lost a fight he started. The “stop hitting yourself” feel to this whole situation is impossible to wade through. Even the story says so, but it’s the villains saying it, so it’s supposed to be wrong. I don’t know, am I losing my fucking mind here? Is this just not that well pulled off?
It’s also just another book where the Hivemind adds a “Wild West” aesthetic to characters, and in my experience I just don’t like those. Guardians of the Galaxy did the same, if I recall.
Anyway, the Thunderbolts are being destroyed one by one so they look like the movie version in a few months, this is what this tie-in is actually about. Oh well, I really liked the Revolution era.
Superman #24
Event Leviathan was months ago?! Be so for real right now, that was half a decade ago. I guess they mean Shadow War…? What the hell was Shadow War, even? Does anyone want to remember?
I’m sorry, the issue has some interesting points to it– Superman dealing with whether or not he should actually help the world with technology and advancing humanity or just keep punching people is always topical, but, god, holy shit, the timescale is so fucked.
But yeah, this is just the beginning of a reset to the status quo for these characters for when Slott takes over. The cool things I liked about the setting are being put back to where they were and characters have to regress or simply act out of line for it to happen. Rip Supercorp and Rip jacket era, you were too fun for this world, you rocked too hard, you swagged too different.
Justice League Unlimited #5
The mystery box opens revealing an okay twist aided by astounding art, maybe some of the best in Dan Mora and Bonvillain’s lives. Genuinely worth reading just for that.
The rest of the comic continues to not really have main characters, arcs or anything more than a plot that’s going into a crossover. I hope the second story we tell in Unlimited focuses on less characters, because these issues are really the same issue over and over again. Beautiful, though, for real.
X-Manhunt Omega
Let it never be said I’m not fair: the end of this has settled the differences the mutants have with each other, and despite the quality of the event itself, it has ended in a way that I believe will take this franchise to a better place than it is at now. It was also a fun little homage to the beginning of the Krakoa era, and ends more or less how I expected that era to end.Whether or not it’s worth a read will vary per person but hey, goofy ahh storytelling decisions aside, I am now once again looking forward to seeing some of these characters, which wasn’t the case last week.

SIMONE SIMONS: New EPICA Album To Be Released In 2025
In a new interview with Mexico's Summa Inferno, EPICA singer Simone Simons spoke about the progress of the songwriting sessions for the follow-up to 2021's "Omega" album. She said (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET): "At the moment, we have quite a lot of songs for the new EPICA album. And I don't know if we can even record all of them, but we definitely have a lot of material.
"We recently had another writing camp where the whole band got together to write demos or finish the demos for the songs, come up with vocal lines and some working lyrics," she revealed. "We have already a whole schedule of the whole recording in the studio, and the album should be done by the end of summer and released in 2025. So, yeah, we are going to have our ninth studio album.
"I love the songs so far that we've written," Simone added. "There's more [songs that have been written] than fit on the album. So it's gonna be cool. And we won't tour that much this year. So we are focusing on the EPICA album and the 'Symphonic Synergy' shows [where EPICA will play alongside an orchestra], which is a lot of work."
Asked about the lyrical themes that will be covered on the next EPICA album, Simone said: "Well, there's a lot going on in the world, in our own personal lives. The inspiration source is never-ending. And sometimes you feel even inspired by the music itself. When you come up with an amazing vocal line and you try to come up with a lyric that fits beautiful to the melody, sometimes unconsciously things come up and sometimes funny lyrics come up, which we have to change in the end. But Mark [Jansen, guitar/vocals] already told the band about some ideas that he has, some kind of concept or a red line going that would be great to go through basically all the songs. But we are planning end of March to do another little writing session, vocal-line writing session, and then we will make a selection of the songs that we are actually going to record. Yesterday we had a long band meeting. Mark and I are gonna also have a call to see who is gonna write lyrics for which song, and then we can start with that already now these upcoming weeks. And, like always, EPICA writes indeed about topics, spiritual, scientific, philosophical, and that will always be a little bit our… the red line, the red thread going through all the lyrics. And I love the part of writing lyrics and coming up with cool sentences, cool rhymes, beautiful metaphors, so, yeah, that's always a cool part of the process."

Wicked star Jonathan Bailey celebrated the film’s multiple Oscar nominations at an intimate Omega dinner in London, says Juliet Herd.
Inside Omega’s London Event With Jonathan Bailey
Wicked star Jonathan Bailey last week celebrated the film’s impressive ten Oscar nominations at an intimate dinner hosted by luxury Swiss watchmaker Omega.
With the 2025 nominations having been announced just hours earlier, Jonathan was on sparkling form as he mingled with guests at fashionable private members’ club The Twenty Two London in his role as official friend of the brand.
Proudly sporting his Seamaster Aqua Terra Shades 38mm gold timepiece, he told fellow diners that Omega ‘always gets the best people and invites them to the best dinners.’
Best known for his star turn in the hugely successful Netflix series Bridgerton, Jonathan, 36, is on a cinematic roll, having wowed global audiences as the dashing male lead, Fiyero, opposite Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande in the big-screen musical.
Wicked scored nods for best picture, best actress, best supporting actress and best original score, among others, giving it the second highest tally of nominations after record-breaking Emilia Pérez with an astonishing 13, and level pegging with The Brutalist.
Jonathan’s performance in the fantasy film, loosely based on the 1939 classic The Wizard of Oz, has already earned him a nomination for a SAG Award for Best Supporting Actor.
The star revealed he hoped to attend the Academy Awards ceremony at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre on 3 March to cheer on the film and his two leading ladies Cynthia and Ariana. But it will have to be a flying visit as he is set to perform the titular role of Richard II in director Nicholas Hytner’s production of Shakespeare’s play at London’s Bridge Theatre from 10 February for three months.
It’s already shaping up as another busy year for the Brighton-based actor. He will reprise his part as Fiyero in the sequel, Wicked: For Good, which is scheduled for release in November. He also stars in one of the most anticipated blockbusters of the year, Jurassic World Rebirth, opposite Scarlett Johansson, due out in July.
Despite his hectic schedule, the good-natured star looked relaxed and happy as he joined Omega in toasting its iconic Seamaster collection, including the latest launches in the Diver 300M range.
Guests dined on sea bass crudo followed by fillet of grass-fed beef and a chocolate cremeux dessert with milk ice cream in the hotel’s private red basement salon, paired with Ruinart Champagne and a selection of fine wines.

The Most Effective Weight Loss Diet is the MIND Diet.
The MIND diet aims to stop cognitive decline and dementia as you age. What you need to know about the MIND diet is provided here.
The greatest diet for weight reduction is said to be the MIND diet, which stands for Mediterranean-DASH Intervention for Neurodegenerative Delay. It focuses on food categories that can enhance your brainpower and shield it from age-related issues like Alzheimer's disease, making it a bridge between the DASH (Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension) and Mediterranean diets.
Everything you need to know about the MIND diet and how to follow it is included in this detailed book.
Tumblr media
Understanding MIND diet
The MIND diet's suggested parameters include an emphasis on minimally processed plant-based meals while excluding animal-based foods that are heavy in saturated fats and added sugars. Also recommended by the diet is portion management.
Ten food categories are recommended for consumption on the MIND diet, while five should be avoided. In general, you should have 3 servings of whole grains, fruits, and vegetables daily, 1–2 servings of legumes, chicken, and fish once or twice per week, and daily snacks of nuts and berries. Olive oil is promoted as a healthy source of fat in the diet as well as for cooking.
While meats and dairy products are not required in your diet, the diet suggests consuming them in moderation, no more than four times each week. The diet proposes swapping it out for the crucial for brain health beans and legumes, which are high in protein.
The following foods should get prioritized in the MIND diet:
Green leafy vegetables
All other vegetables
Berries
Nuts
Olive oil
Whole grains
Fish/seafood
Beans
Poultry
Avoid or limit the following foods:
Cheese
Red meat
Fried foods
Sweets and pastries
Prior to starting your weight reduction journey, it is a good idea to choose a weight loss consultation with a seasoned weight-loss specialist. An professional in weight reduction can comprehend your body and create a diet plan just for you.
Benefits of the diet
The MIND diet's suggested food categories are rich in fibre and a number of dietary components that have been found to enhance brain health. These are what they are:
Vitamin E
Folate
Omega-3 fatty acids
Carotenoids
Flavonoids
It has been demonstrated that the MIND diet enhances brain health and lowers your risk of dementia, Alzheimer's disease, and other age-related cognitive losses. Studies show that eating the right meals and avoiding the bad ones can postpone brain ageing by 7.5 years.
Including an estimated 5 million sufferers, Alzheimer's disease is presently the sixth-leading cause of mortality in the US. The estimate is that there will be more than 7 million by 2025.
According to a study of 1,300 older persons who followed the MIND diet, those who adhered to it to the letter had a 53% lower risk of getting Alzheimer's disease. Those that somewhat followed it experienced a 35% decrease in their probabilities.
Should I try the mind diet?
Whether you have a family history of Alzheimer's disease or other cognitive issues, the MIND diet is a solid, healthful diet that has shown encouraging outcomes for general brain health.
The data thus far suggests that the MIND diet is a beneficial food approach for your long-term health, while further study is required to determine its full range of advantages. Even if you go out to eat, it's not too difficult to follow and modify recipes. The diet emphasises entire foods, and keeping track of your daily caloric intake is not necessary.
Before beginning the MIND or any other diet, it is wise to schedule a weight loss consultation with your healthcare provider to see if it is a good fit for your health.
To Conclude:
The MIND diet delays the decline in brain function that comes with ageing and prevents dementia. It encourages the eating of fish, poultry, beans, vegetables, berries, nuts, whole grains, and wine.
Numerous nutrients in these meals support brain function, maybe by lowering oxidative stress, inflammation, and beta-amyloid plaque development. According to preliminary studies, following the MIND diet is associated with a decreased risk of Alzheimer's disease and a more gradual decline in brain function over time. To completely understand the consequences of the diet, additional study is needed. The MIND diet is regarded as the finest weight-loss diet in America by many people.
Future studies may reveal that the MIND diet offers additional health advantages linked to the Mediterranean and DASH diets because it is a combination of these two diets. But for now, the MIND diet is a terrific choice if you're searching for an easy eating plan that prioritises preserving brain function and losing weight.

PLEASANT HILL UPDATE
FROM THE DESK OF MARIA HILL, DIRECTOR OF S.H.I.E.L.D. ON 6 JUNE 2025.
FOR ALL RELEVANT PERSONNEL:
A disturbance was sensed outside of Border B-Section IA on 1 June 2025 and was later determined to be a group of Avengers and affiliates under the direction of Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow and James Barnes/the Winter Soldier. The squad was met by contracted Reinforcement Officers Martinique and Regan Wyngarde, but the telepaths were not able to subdue them. As a result, both Mastermind and Lady Mastermind were apprehended and brought back to Krakoa due to their mutant status. S.H.I.E.L.D. lawyers were able to make a case that the sisters were working under government supervision and had not physically harmed any human or adjacent. Although they will not be punished, Krakoa will not be permitting them to rejoin the program and we are down to one last Reinforcement Officer, S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Olivia Hook.
It is believed the Avengers overcame our defenses with the help of the Scarlet Witch, Wanda Maximoff. Although Maximoff’s reality stimulated town of Westview, NJ provided the basis for our project, Head Scientist Dr. Erik Selvig has cautioned us against allowing Maximoff to come too close to the town due to the fact that her reality warping powers may counteract or disrupt the Reality Stone being deployed inside the barrier. Also blocked from entering the designated space are Billy Kaplan/Wiccan and Franklin Richards/Power House for similar reasons to varying degrees.
In what refer to as KOBIK EMERGENCY PROTOCOL-CC1, Head of Onsite Scientific Research Dr. Randall Jessup made a decision to activate the Town Database in accordance to Function-SSLR. Function-SSLR briefly allowed Dr. Jessup to change the functionality of the Database through opening neurological pathways in its host so that the “Jane Doe”, Ripley Ryan (Resident S-24), could manifest outside of the border. Due to the risky nature of the manuever, Dr. Jessup had only minutes to act before he ran the risk of severing the connection or possibly allowing control, which would allow Ryan to once again full consciousness and possibly destabilize the town. Before the Database was restored to its normal settings, they were able to absorb thirteen of the Avengers into Pleasant Hill.
Dr. Jessup’s actions are currently being reviewed by the Internal Oversights Board due to the fact that the new residents are not criminals and will likely be missed. All inmates of Pleasant Hill have paperwork filled out that justifies their interment and planned rehabilitation goals. Head of Intake Processing Alisande Morales is currently backlogging the reports, but any questions are to be met with “I’m not at liberty to say” and a redirect to either Sharon Carter or Director Maria Hill. All of the new residents have been placed at the town inn with Agent Jenna Carlisle for a week of monitoring.
Under normal circumstances, all new residents are brought to the hospital and interface with the Town Database before going to their psychological evaluations with Dr. Valerie Cooper and their three to seven days being monitored at the Inn for assimilation. The only deviant we had was Resident S-17 (Zemo) due to repeated deviation from the narrative. Because Ryan absorbed the Avengers complete with new personas, they were all evaluated by Dr. Cooper without any extended Database interaction, starting with Kwannon/Psylocke and moving down the line to finish with Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel. All thirteen passed with minor red flags but are believed to be able to assimilate after their extended stay at the inn. For safety measures, it is recommended that Resident N-9 (Romanoff) is kept separated from Resident S-30 (Belova) until the monitoring period ends. It is also recommended that resident S-22 (Warren) is kept away from resident N-5 (Stacy) for the sake of his own rehabilitation until we are certain the Town Database is operating at 100% once more. Please follow the follow link to check the current town registry.
RESTRICTED ACCESS ONLY:
Please do not disseminate the following information until it is confirmed by a Beta ranking officer or higher. Due to time constraints, only a portion of the Avengers were absorbed into the city. The rest were believed to have fled the scene, but Head of Onsite Security Jake Oh reported the border security squadron who patrol Border B-Section IA was found unconscious with no memory of who attacked them. All residents were reported for at the time of the attack, which happened just before 2200 hours. Shortly afterwards, the Database appeared to glitch and registered the creation of ten new resident personas.
We believe that some of the Avengers who were not absorbed breached the town border and are inside Pleasant Hill. It is also likely that Maximoff would have altered their appearances before entering and the Database confused her reality warping with ours, leading to it inserting their faces into the town directory. Due to all of the lower-level agents the Database keeps, we have yet to determine which faces are new. If you are Level Kappa or above, please use your monitoring device to scan the eyes of each resident in your section and log who you have checked. Please also log yourself for reference.
Security logged the following heroes at the scene: A. Chavez, C. Danvers, C. Lang, C. Moon, C. Barton, G. Stacy, J. Barnes, J. Drew, J. Jones, K. Bishop. M. Murdock, M. Morales, M. Rambeau, N. Romanoff, P. Parker, R. Williams, S. Lang, S. Alexander, S. Wilson, S. Strange, S. Rogers, V. Vision and W. Maximoff. They were accompanied by the mutants known as Cable (Summers), Psylocke, Rogue, Scout (Kinney) and Wolverine (Kinney).
With Chavez, Danvers, Moon, Barton, Stacy, Drew, Bishop, Kinney, Kwannon, Murdock, Morales, Romanoff and Lang registered in town, we believe it to be some combination of the remaining to have broken into town with the exception of Strange and Maximoff, who we can confirm returned to New York. These Avengers are highly trained and dangerous. Should you come across one, please radio for back-up immediately. Because we are not seeking conflict with Krakoa, the goal is to wipe the memories of the two mutants who were absorbed and return them to the Island.
We are all hands on deck at the moment Level Alpha officials Barbara Morse and Sharon Carter will be onsite until further notice and all Level Kappa Embedded Agents are hereby assigned to stay inside Pleasant Hill until further notice. This is just one hitch in a complicated plan that will shortly be resolved. Please keep your comms on and near.
-- Maria Hill, Director of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Rocket Report: Another Chinese launch failure, Minotaur IV soars
Enlarge / Northrop Grumman successfully launched its Minotaur IV Rocket into orbit on Wednesday morning.
Welcome to Edition 3.08 of the Rocket Report! We are now approaching the middle of the 2020 Mars launch window, and it appears as though we will see the UAE, China, and United States all launch missions to the red planet during the last 10 days of the month. Exciting times ahead!
As always, we welcome reader submissions, and if you don’t want to miss an issue, please subscribe using the box below (the form will not appear on AMP-enabled versions of the site). Each report will include information on small-, medium-, and heavy-lift rockets as well as a quick look ahead at the next three launches on the calendar.
Chinese Kuaizhou-11 launch ends in failure. The launch of a new Chinese Kuaizhou-11 commercial solid rocket ended in failure last Friday, resulting in the loss of two satellites, SpaceNews reports. Terse reports from Chinese media state that the specific cause of the failure is “under further analysis and investigation.”
China’s third launch failure of 2020 … The Kuaizhou-11 is a larger version of the Kuaizhou-1A solid rocket, operated by Expace, a commercial spin-off from the China Aerospace Science and Industry Corp., a state-owned missile maker. The rocket has a diameter of 2.2 meters and a mass at liftoff of 78 tons. It is capable of delivering 1,000 kilograms to a 700km Sun-synchronous orbit. (submitted by Ken the Bin, JohnCarter17, and platykurtic)
Small-launch contracts diverted to small-business loans. The $116 million that the US Department of Defense set aside for small-launch contracts under the Defense Production Act have been redirected to other priorities, SpaceNews reports. The Pentagon had approved funding the small-launch contracts but, at the last minute, decided to shift the money to small-business loan programs that were considered a more urgent priority. It is unlikely that those contracts will be awarded any time soon, the US Air Force’s top procurement official Will Roper said.
DoD says of the funds: You can’t aevum … About a month ago, the military announced it intended to award contracts to six small-launch providers financially impacted by the coronavirus pandemic. On July 1 DoD withdrew the contracts that would have been awarded to Aevum, Astra, X-Bow, Rocket Lab, Space Vector, and VOX Space to launch two rideshare missions over the next 24 months. Awarding the launch contracts now will require additional funding from Congress. (submitted by Ken the Bin)
The easiest way to keep up with Eric Berger’s space reporting is to sign up for his newsletter, we’ll collect his stories in your inbox.
Next frontier for small rockets: Deep space? In a feature, Ars explores the potential for small satellites (and the new low-cost rockets that launch them) to transform planetary science. Instead of spending a decade or longer planning and developing a mission before spending hundreds of millions (to billions!) of dollars bringing it off, perhaps we can fly a mission within a couple of years for a few tens of millions of dollars.
The Moon, Mars, and beyond … In recent years, a new generation of companies is developing new rockets for small satellites that cost roughly $10 million for a launch. Already, Rocket Lab has announced a lunar program for its small Electron rocket. “I think this is a huge, disruptive program for the scientific community,” Rocket Lab’s chief said. And Virgin Orbit has teamed up with a group of Polish universities to launch up to three missions to Mars with its LauncherOne vehicle.
Minotaur IV rocket launches NRO mission. A Northrop Grumman Minotaur IV solid-propellant rocket launched the NROL-129 mission for the National Reconnaissance Office on July 15 from NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia, SpaceNews reports. The classified NROL-129 mission carried four remote-sensing payloads.
Putting old missiles to good use … This was the Minotaur IV’s first flight from the Mid-Atlantic Regional Spaceport at NASA’s Wallops Island Facility. It was the NRO’s first launch on a Minotaur IV, a four-stage vehicle made with three government-furnished solid-rocket motors from decommissioned Peacekeeper intercontinental ballistic missiles. (submitted by JohnCarter17 and Ken the Bin)
Korean satellite launch postponed. The planned launch of a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket Tuesday from Cape Canaveral of a South Korean military communications satellite has been delayed in order to address an issue on the launcher’s second stage and potentially replace the hardware if necessary, Spaceflight Now reports.
Being extra paranoid … This is the second SpaceX mission to be postponed indefinitely in recent days as the company tries to cut turnaround times for reused rockets and produce new upper stages at a rapid rate to to meet a fast-paced launch schedule in the coming weeks. “We’re being extra paranoid,” tweeted Elon Musk, SpaceX’s founder and CEO. “Maximizing probability of successful launch is paramount.” Launch is now set for no earlier than July 19. Spaceflight to debut Sherpa-FX on Falcon 9 mission. The Seattle-based rideshare-management company said this week it will be flying its next-generation orbital-transfer vehicle, Sherpa-FX, on a dedicated rideshare mission with SpaceX. This mission is scheduled to launch on a Falcon 9 no earlier than December 2020. This is another step toward big rockets offering customizable satellite delivery.
Last-mile delivery … “In-space transportation is essential to meeting our customer’s specific needs to get their spacecraft delivered to orbit exactly when and where they want it,” said Grant Bonin, senior vice president of business development for Spaceflight Inc. “If you think of typical rideshare as sharing a seat on a train headed to a popular destination, our next-generation Sherpa program enables us to provide a more complete ‘door-to-door transportation service’.” (submitted by Ken the Bin)
Hope Mars probe launch delayed by weather. After two previous weather delays, a Mars orbiter financed by the United Arab Emirates will be launched between July 20 and 22, the Khaleej Times reports. The new launch time will be announced depending on the weather conditions.
Third time’s the charm? … A Japanese H-2A rocket was originally due to launch on July 15. But the “persistence of thunderstorms, cumulative clouds and unstable weather conditions in the coming days on Tanegashima Island” have now delayed the launch twice. The rocket and spacecraft are both said to be in good condition. (submitted by JohnCarter17)
Arianespace will phase out Ariane 5 in 2022. Program delays have forced EUMETSAT to reserve a pair of Ariane 6 rockets for two European weather satellites originally anticipated to launch on Ariane 5 rockets, SpaceNews reports. Only one of three planned satellites, MTG-I1, will be completed before Arianespace switches completely to Ariane 6 rockets.
Two more years of Ariane 5 … MTG-I1, an imaging satellite, will launch on an Ariane 5 rocket in 2022, the last year Ariane 5 will be available, said Paul Counet, EUMETSAT’s head of strategy. The sounding satellite MTG-S1, for which EUMETSAT had a firm Ariane 5 launch contract, is now scheduled to launch in 2023 on an Ariane 6, as well as another bird launching in 2025. Rocket for next crew mission arrives in Florida. The SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket that will launch NASA’s SpaceX Crew-1 mission for the agency’s Commercial Crew Program has arrived in Florida, the space agency said. This mission will carry NASA astronauts Victor Glover, Michael Hopkins, Shannon Walker, and JAXA astronaut Soichi Noguchi to the International Space Station for a full-duration mission.
Taking flight in a couple of months … A launch date will be determined after the completion of SpaceX’s crew-demonstration mission, which is likely to return to Earth in early August. This suggests the flight will take place no earlier than late September. The rocket will now undergo prelaunch processing in the company’s facility on nearby Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. (submitted by Ken the Bin)
No big rockets in 2020, but seven are coming. 2020 was supposed to be the year of the big rocket. At one point, as many as four large, powerful boosters were slated to take flight this year. Alas, we now know for sure that none of them is going to make it this year, because Arianespace’s Ariane 6, NASA’s Space Launch System, Blue Origin’s New Glenn, and United Launch Alliance’s Vulcan Centaur will all slip to 2021 at the very least.
Seven deadly predictions … However, all of those rockets and three more—Japan’s H3, Northrop Grumman’s Omega booster, and SpaceX’s Super Heavy first stage—are coming at some point in the next couple of years. In a new article, Ars makes wild guesses as to when each of these seven new rockets may ultimately make its debut. Spoiler alert: we think H3 probably will be first and New Glenn last.
SLS static-fire test may occur in October. NASA and Boeing say they are on track to perform a major static-fire test of the core stage of the Space Launch System in October, a key milestone ahead of a first launch in late 2021, SpaceNews reports. Crews working on testing the SLS core stage at the Stennis Space Center have run into “no issues” so far during a series of tests collectively known as the Green Run, said John Shannon, Boeing vice president and program manager for the rocket.
Up to test number four … Three of eight Green Run tests have been completed. These include applying forces to the core stage to simulate launch conditions, powering on the stage’s avionics, and testing the systems that would shut down the stage if there’s a problem during testing. Shannon said work is underway on the fourth test: checking components of the rocket’s main propulsion system. If the test firing does occur in October, amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, that would be a positive step forward for the program. (submitted by Ken the Bin and JohnCarter17)
ESA confirms Ariane 6 delay to late 2021. Of the big four rockets that once had debuts set for this year, Ariane 6 was the last to announce a delay. “While we know that the maiden flight will not take place before the second semester of 2021, we cannot at this moment precisely quantify the delay, and we cannot provide an exact launch date,” Daniel Neuenschwander, ESA’s director of space transportation, said.
The pandemic played a big role … SpaceNews reports that pandemic-induced delays with Ariane 6’s launch pad construction, solid-rocket-booster testing, and productivity losses at Ariane 6 industrial sites had compromised the rocket’s original schedule. Neuenschwander also said problems with the cryogenic arms at the Ariane 6 launch pad in Kourou, French Guiana, were contributing to the delay. (submitted by Ken the Bin and JohnCarter17)
SLS rocket replaces Saturn V on Alabama tags. Alabama has traded the glory of a past Moon rocket for the promise of a new launch vehicle on the latest version of its space-exploration-themed, specialty license plate, Collect Space reports. The redesigned “Alabama Space Tag” replaces the depiction of the historic Saturn V booster with NASA’s new Space Launch System rocket. The new plate marks the first time that the Saturn V has not appeared on an Alabama plate in 15 years.
Funds go to a good cause … The Alabama Department of Revenue began issuing the new Space Tag in May. Like the “Save the Saturn V” plate that it replaced, sales benefit the state’s home for one of the three remaining Apollo-era rockets. Net proceeds will be distributed to the US Space and Rocket Center Foundation to be used toward the Davidson Saturn V Center in Huntsville where the Saturn V is located. It’s a good cause, at least. (submitted by JohnCarter17)

Erythropoiesis-stimulating Agents Market To Expand With Significant DAGR During 2025
The process of formation of red blood cells is termed as erythropoiesis. Erythropoiesis takes place in the bone marrow. Agents promoting synthesis of red blood cells are known as erythropoiesis-stimulating agents. These are recombinant versions of a hormone erythropoietin, which is naturally produced by the kidneys and is responsible for stimulating bone marrow for red blood cells synthesis. Erythropoiesis-stimulating agents are recommended for the treatment of anemia. Hemoglobin is a substance in red blood cells, which carries oxygen around the body. When the body does not receive enough oxygen because of less number of red blood cells, it results into anemia. Anemia is highly associated with chronic kidney disease, and the overall prevalence rate of the disease in the U.S. is 15%. About 50% of the population with advanced diseases develop anemia. Hence, besides the use of dialysis, the development and use of erythropoiesis-stimulating agents are significant advancements in treating patients with chronic kidney disease. These agents were introduced in 1980s and became a popular treatment for anemia.
In cases wherein patients cannot undergo blood transfusions, it becomes necessary to give them erythropoiesis-stimulating agents, also known as recombinant erythropoietin. Epoetin alfa (under the brand name Procrit and Epogen) and darbepoetin alfa (under the brand name Aranesp) are two agents approved by the FDA for treating anemia caused due to chemotherapy, chronic kidney disease, and certain treatments for HIV. These agents are given as subcutaneous injections or as intravenous injections. The dose frequency, depending on the patient’s condition, can vary from once in a week or once every two weeks.
Increasing incidence of anemia cases worldwide is driving the growth of the global Erythropoiesis-Stimulating Agents Market. In addition, rising awareness about erythropoiesis-stimulating agent therapies is contributing to the market growth. The demand for erythropoiesis-stimulating agents is rapidly increasing due to rising prevalence of chronic kidney disease and cancer and growing demand for cheaper erythropoietin drugs. Efforts are taken by researchers and pharmaceutical companies to develop novel erythropoietin drugs. However, stringent regulatory norms and side effects such as hypersensitivity, hypertension, seizures, or convulsions associated with erythropoiesis-stimulating agents are restraining the market growth.
