Regency AU!!! anakin hoarding little things he bought for obi-wan and finally getting to give them to him!! its so sweet and fluffy! I'd love to know just how disappointed all the other omegas in town were when anakin stepped out with obi-wan on his arm.

All the mamas of the eligible omegas take one look at the way anakin skywalker looks at obi-wan as he goes literally anywhere and the smart ones tell their children to focus on more available prospects, like a minor prince. an earl. Etc. The duke is not going to truly be entertaining prospects this season.

but the smarter mamas split their efforts between making potential matches for their own children and finding matches for obi-wan because maybe if this obi-wan kenobi finds his match and marriage, then the duke Skywalker will be more willing to consider their children to be his match. It’s a bit underhanded but one has to do what one has to do. and throwing alphas at kenobi until one sticks is what one has to do.

(of course they also have to be very clandestine about it because it would do their daughters and sons no good for anakin to find out that it was them that found obi-wan’s match. they know they may get kicked out of high society all together for it. the stakes are high.)

Cody doesn’t want to fight anymore.

He grieves, over and over, for not just obi-wan, but who they both were. Everyone he loved, gone by the work of his own hand. If even possible, the clone war, deadly and devastating as it was, sometimes seemed lighter than this new reality that was facing the galaxy. Wars do have the option to be won. Lives have the potential to be saved. With the end of the war came a finality, akin to dread settling in the back of his mind. It didn’t help that clones had one purpose, one that was wearing thin. So many brothers of his, sacrificed like pawns in a game only for every side to loose. And he was the one who cast the die himself. The guilt overtakes you, strangles you. His friends, his family, broken and found again over the course of only four years, suddenly discarded. He wears grey to not only symbolize his loss, but also his hopelessness and guilt.

What were we made for without this war? And what have we to grieve now that it is lost?

Guys…there’s still one major cameo from the Bad Batch season 3 trailer that has still yet to make an appearance…

The title for 3x09 is “The Harbinger,” the definition being “a person or thing that shows that something is going to happen soon, especially something bad.”

Ventress found Omega with no trouble (most likely with the Force, but still) and warned the batch that they needed to leave Pabu because they weren’t safe there.

This is obviously foreshadowing that someone is going to attempt to bring Omega back to Hemlock as an M-count target.

If there’s one bounty hunter in the whole galaxy audacious enough to attempt this job (and be successful) it’s Cad Bane.

It wouldn’t be the first time he stole force sensitive children for Palpatine…

It wouldn’t even the first time he would be kidnapping Omega either…

Force sensitive children seem to be his specialty. I’d bet on him being the one.

If you have your doubts about how dangerous he is, remember that he was the one that broke Ziro the Hutt out of prison, held the Galactic Senate and Anakin Skywalker hostage, broke into the Jedi Temple on Coruscant to steal a Holocron, held Ahsoka hostage and manipulated Anakin into opening and giving him the Holocron to save her life, kidnapped force sensitive children for Palpatine’s evil experiments and brought them to Mustafar, fought Obiwan Kenobi with Quinlan Vos’ lightsaber, and orchestrated a prison break and escaped through the morgue.

Cad Bane does not fuck around people!! He is dangerous, he’s experienced, and the groundwork has been laid. Be scared!

Obi-Wan remembers the first time he met Anakin and Vader.

The little pup is the prince of the kingdom of Coruscant, his parents always spoiled him and gave him all the love Obi-Wan could wish for. The little boy was loved by everyone in the castle and even in the village.

One day his parents were busy with kingdom matters that left their young son alone with the royal guards, it was a small neglect, and Obi-Wan disappeared from everyone's sight.

Obi-Wan liked to explore the surroundings of the castle, which was surrounded by a huge forest; his parents always told him that he should not enter it without the supervision of the guards. But that day, Obi-Wan followed a beautiful butterfly that guided him deep into the forest.

The boy tried to catch it, but it was impossible. The butterfly flew higher and higher until it was lost in the branches of the trees, and that was when Obi-Wan tried to return to the castle but realized that he was completely lost.

Everything around him looked exactly the same, and he didn't know where to go.

Obi-Wan wanted to cry, it was about dusk and he was cold; he wanted to be in his room and with his parents.

The little prince walked and walked, trying to find something or someone to guide him to the castle, but he found nothing. He was about to give up and sit down to cry near a tree when he heard small whimpers of some animal.

Obi-Wan walked towards the sound and found himself in front of a large cave, carefully going inside it to find out what caused such whining. Shocked when he saw two puppies, they were huddled together as they cried from hunger and cold. Apparently they were abandoned by their parents, as there was nothing else in the cave, only those two cubs awaiting their cruel fate.

Obi-Wan couldn't let them die to their fate, so he carefully took the cubs, one in each arm, and walked out of that cave. Now he was more than determined to find the castle to help the little animals.

It wasn't long until the prince was found, the kings had gone in search of him along with a whole troop of soldiers. Obi-Wan didn't mind his parents punishing him, he needed to get the puppies to safety as soon as possible.

When they arrived at the castle, Obi-Wan was in charge of giving them milk on a plate and wrapping them very well in blankets. After pouting, the kings let the cubs stay in Obi-Wan's room, so the little boy could care for and supervise them at night.

Obi-Wan thought that the puppies belonged to some breed of dog, so he decided to train them both to be his guardian pets and always take care of him. The little prince was more than happy, as he finally had friends who would never leave him alone and lived next to him.

When he named the puppies, Obi-Wan didn't know how to name them, one had blonde fur with blue eyes and the other black fur with golden eyes.

So he named the one with blue eyes as Anakin and the one with golden eyes as Vader.

Obi-Wan was happy with his little puppies. He even let them sleep next to him in bed, and every night he read them a story to help them sleep.

Too bad he realized very late that they were wolf cubs.

In an au of this. Anakin chooses to keep them but can’t take the war and the code and the pitying looks he’d be given so he only tells his best friend padme ( and maybe ashoka) who supports him and helps him leave temporarily and relocate. So when obi wan comes back weeks later, or months if you really wanna make it angsty cuz that would make him miss essentially the whole pregnancy, maybe the birth too. And when he’s back no one knows what happened to ani exept padme and she’s to pissed off on Anakins behalf to tell him immediately. When they finally reunite ani has to deal with learning to be with obi wan again after being independent through out his pregnancy and obi wan has to live with knowing that he didn’t just abandon his mate but he abandoned his pregnant mate and misses the entire pregnancy and yeah.

Okay, but Obikin omegaverse style.

Omega Anakin just thought he lost his mate during the hardeen arc (that's what it's called right?) And finds out he pregnant.

Too afraid to raise it and not telling anyone, he gets an abortion, sobbing and his inner omega morning the loss of the children he just couldn't take care of cause his mate was no longer with him.

And a few week later, there's his Alpha, soft smile and quiet apologies about not telling him, looking to sink back into the arms of his mate.
