One Bed, Oh No

Kenny Omega x reader

Summary: Checking into the hotel with your best friend was fine. Sharing a room was a common occurrence, so no big deal! Until you open the door and see only. One. Bed. No big deal right? It's not like you haven't shared one before when things are tight. But this bed is barely big enough for one of you, let alone both of you...With growing feelings on both sides, how will you figure this out? (A/N; it's a full-sized bed, so it's pretty small lol)

"Y/N, come on! It's cold!" Kenny called out from the door to the hotel, standing there with his suitcase and duffelbag, waiting for me. I stopped trying to pull my stuck suitcase out of the car to deadpan to him, giving him a "fucking really?" look. But when that only seemed to make him laugh, I went back to my suitcase. after another moment of struggling, the suitcase was free from the trunk of the rental car, and I nearly fell backwards from the force I used to get it out. Closing the door with a slam, I made my way to the door, shivering all the while.

Once we stepped inside through the automatic doors, the warm air of the lobby hit us, and we both couldn't help the happy sigh we released. A shiver running down my spine as I closed my eyes and relaxed. It would still take some time of being inside to fully warm up, but this was an amazing start.

While I was enjoying the warmth, Kenny checked us into our room. When I opened my eyes, his blue ones were looking down at me, waiting for me to notice him. His cheeks were flushed from being outside. I knew my own face looked the same, especially after wrestling my luggage out of the car. It wasn't something I thought much about until now, but Kenny looked cute with a blush to his skin. But I couldn't stare at him forever right now, we had a show to get ready for, so I spoke up, seeming to catch him off guard. Like he was lost in his own thoughts as he peered down at me.

"Let's go get settled then. You have a show to wrestle in, and I have catering to terrorize." This earned a chuckle from Kenny, shaking his head as he turned to lead the way, mumbling something about me always being so hungry. Rolling my eyes at his remark, I followed after him down the carpeted hallway, finally taking in the surroundings.

The hotel was generic. Patterned and distracting floor, simple wooden doors, along with a sort of beige wallpaper and semi-fancy light fixtures on the walls. / I was so busy looking at our hotel and judging their design choices, that I nearly ran into Kenny.

"Woah, watch it. I'm just trying to get us in here." Kenny joked, sliding the key card into the latch, opening it with a satisfying beep. Pushing the door open and letting me in, I apologized, blushing slightly from embarrassment after almost running into his big, strong chest. Wait, what the fuck? Why am I complimenting his chest? At the very least, why the fuck am I thinking about him that way with him right here. Those kind of thoughts were alone thoughts only. Although now, with our close proximity, his blush from earlier, his still playful and sweet attitude despite being freezing cold. It was all pushing forcefully to the front of my mind.

'I don't know, maybe I just need to rub one out before tonight. I have been around people nearly all day the past few days' I shrugged to myself, stepping further into the room. Only to then stop in shock as the culmination of my lustful thoughts, and the realization of only one bed, hit me like a truck.

"Oh no," I muttered to myself, but it was just loud enough that Kenny heard. He was still getting into the room, trying to gently set his stuff down so he could inspect the room.

"What 'oh no'? Is the place trashed already?" Kenny finally turned to look at the room, seeing only the one bed. "Well it's not that bad. We can share." He walked around the bed, inspecting it and seeing just how small it was. I would barely fit him, let alone the both of us. Kenny raised his eyebrows, rubbing his scruffy chin as he thought to himself.

"'Oh no' may be right." Kenny seemed to be lost in thought for a moment before shaking his head and clapping his hands, startling me. He moved too fast for me to come up with any snarky retort about it being the wrong room before he was going through his duffle bag to make sure he had everything he needed for tonight.

"I guess I can sort it out later during the show. Since you'll be busy getting your ass kicked," I joked, trying to distract myself from the current situation, and trying to return to a sense of normalcy. My jab only made Kenny let out a bark of a laugh, throwing his curls back as he looked at me with a faux glare.

"You know I always win. Besides, even if I lost, I'm the one sleeping in that bed. I'm too big to even attempt sleeping in that chair in the corner." I hadn't even noticed it, turning back around and looking to the corner stood a plush chair with a lengthy cushion. Pushed together, and if I stayed curled up all night, it wouldn't be the worst thing I've ever had to do, but it wouldn't be fun. Although Kenny was right, no matter what, he would get the bed. Instead of arguing further, I snatched his Nintendo Switch from his bag, much to his protest, and rolled my eyes at him as I got m favorite game ready to play. Tonight was going to be a long one.

Catering was delicious as always. Along with one of my best friends there, Willow Nightingale, I was beginning to forget about our situation back at the hotel. Until Willow asked a seemingly pointed question that made me stop.

"So, how's the hotel room?" Willow asked innocently as I sputtered, blushing furiously at the unexpected question. Which only made her laugh, those around us luckily too engrossed in their own conversations that they didn't notice. Her face told me that she knew more than she was letting on, but she didn't budge giving anything else away.

"It's fine. They must've fucked up and only given us one bed though. The thing is comically tiny. It would be fine for me, but it would barely fit Kenny." I tried to laugh. I still didn't want to think about it. Before we left, while Kenny was getting his bag together, I asked the front desk if there was a mistake. But there wasn't. That room had our names on it. And the hotel was too full for us to swap rooms, or for one of us to share with someone else.

"Well, sounds like you have to share." She winked, to which I rolled my eyes. Willow is one of the only people, other than myself, who knows about my crush on Kenny. Although I never told her, she figured it out on her own just by watching the way I interacted with him. And she SWEARS he acts the same way towards me, although I never believe it. Suddenly, a thought dawned on me. 'It was her!'

"Ugh. I don't know what we're going to do. He's too big to NOT take the bed, and neither of us can sleep on the floor," I sighed, wishing I could retreat into myself and this problem wouldn't exist. Things would be easier if I didn't have to navigate not only a friendship, but feelings for one of my best friends.

"Well... You know you can share. I mean, if he's okay with it, who are you to turn him down Y/N." Willow reasoned, setting her drink down to take my hands in hers to help make me look at her. And when I did, I saw genuine care and encouragement to go for it. Shrugging and shaking my head, I broke eye contact, unsure of what to do. Of course I wanted to share with him. Be snuggled up to his warm body, and be all pressed against each other. It was the dream. But I didn't want to hope for that, and then be disappointed if he didn't want to share.

"It's just. I don't even know Willow. It's a lot. Just, so much is going on." I closed my eyes, trying to think of anything else but the hotel, and being confronted by my feelings. Willow's hands on my own kept me grounded as she soothed the backs of them with her thumbs, patiently waiting for me to open my eyes again. And when I did, I was greeted by her warm smile, and I couldn't help but smile softly back.

"Tonight, when you go back. If he asks you if you want to share, I need you to do something for me, okay?" I nodded, already having an idea of what I was agreeing to, despite also dreading it. "I need you to not back down. If he wants to share with you, take it. I PROMISE it'll be okay." Willow's words were so soft and genuine that I couldn't help but agree to her demand.

The chitchat of catering slowly filtered back into my perception as I took a deep, steadying breath. Nodding again to show her I would do it.

"Sometimes, and I don't know how, but you know me better than me," I laughed, getting a chuckle out of Willow too as she shook her head.

"I have my ways. Now you, relax. Go sit down and I'll grab you a drink too." I took her offer, resting on one of the nearby couches, my turn to wait for her this time.

'Maybe things will be okay' Was my last thought before Willow came back talking to me about the latest show she was watching to help pass the time.

Commotion slowly died as the show wound down. Dynamite was over, and all of the wrestlers were getting ready to head back to their hotels. Faced with the realization that I'll have to face Kenny and our single bed, I'd be lying if my thoughts didn't drift to more sinful ways we could share the bed, and what may happen being so close. But now I had to face the reality as I stood outside of Kenny's door, waiting for him to step out and be ready to leave.

I didn't watch much of the show, but what I did see was Kenny's match. I barely remember who it was against, as all I could look at was him and the way his body moved. The way his arms flexed when he lifted his opponent. To the way his chest and abs glistened with sweat. At one point, Willow caught my attention, telling me to "stop drooling before someone notices". To which I closed my mouth and sat back in my seat, trying to look normal and ignore the simmering heat between my legs. So now, here I stood, waiting for the center of my lustful thoughts to step out of his locker room.

When his door finally opened, I jumped. I'm not sure where, but he looked clean, like he had taken a shower. Kenny offered to drive, which I happily let him, trying to look out the window as I built up the courage to ask him if we could share the bed. Before I could open my mouth, Kenny spoke up instead, making me jump so high it scared Kenny as well.

"What're you thinking about? You've got that worried look on your face that you get when you're thinking about something really hard." Kenny joked, trying to lighten the mood. The question forced me back into reality, and instead of thinking too long about what to say, I decided spitting it out would be the best way to go about things.

"Can we share the bed instead? I mean, I just don't want to sleep in the chair or on the floor. I know it's tiny, but we can share, right?" My question sounded more like a plea. In a way, it was. I wanted to share the bed with him, to have an excuse to be so close. Hopefully he didn't notice the need in my voice when I asked.

"Of course. I'd never actually make you sleep in that chair you know," Kenny's words were soft, almost inviting and definitely comforting. "Especially since all you'd do is complain in the morning "oh my back hurts, Kenny you bitch for making me sleep here"." He laughed, and I couldn't help but roll my eyes. Despite his tease, I still felt like I won here. Quickly, I texted Willow, telling her it's all good. And just as quick, a response from her said "Tell me how good it is ;)". To which I could only roll my eyes, blushing furiously at the thought of what more could happen from being so close together.

Back in our room, things moved fast. Kenny took a shower and cleaned up while I turned on the TV to some channel for background noise as I got ready for bed and waited for the bathroom to be open. When it did, Kenny stepped through in fresh pajamas, letting me in to do my own routine. Despite doing every step, which takes me a little while, it all still moved so fast.

And as I crawled into bed with Kenny, my heart pounded. I hoped he couldn't notice. Luckily Kenny, tired from his match and fresh out of a relaxing shower, was already out. So I turned off the lights and TV, rolling over so our back were together. Checking my phone one last time was another text from Willow, saying "goodnight, don't let the Kenny-bugs bite ;)". I rolled my eyes at her attempt to change the saying, but still chuckled at it. I told her good night before turning off my phone and getting some sleep of my own. Kenny's warm scent and body heat lulling me into a deep sleep.

X-Men: The Next Mutation Merchandise Ideas (Part 1)

So ever since I've started my fanfiction, "X-Men: The Next Mutation", I've been thinking about what kind of merchandise the series would get if it was an actual series.

And so today, I'm here to share with you all a couple of ideas I have for that merchandising.

Standard Merchandise:

T-shirts, posters, wallpapers, bookbags, lunch boxes, dinnerware, downloadable wallpapers, handbags, phone cases, blankets, bedsheets, cards, sticker books, towels, rugs, puzzles, hats, speciality headphones, and shoes.

However, most of these will share a similar series of design variants.

-X-Men: Features Xavier, Cyclops, Psyche, Beast, Storm, Angel, Nightcrawler, Colossus, Iceman, Wolverine, Shadowcat and Lockheed.

-Frozen Treats: Produced by Blue Bunny. Comes in four flavors. Psionic Energy (raspberry-flavored ice cream with a strawberry syrup swirl), Elemental Collision (vanilla ice cream with a blue raspberry-flavored swirl), Light and Dark (lemon-flavored sherbet with a blueberry-flavored swirl), and Primal Fury (orange sherbet with a blue raspberry-flavored swirl).

-Pies: Produced by Hostess. Cream and jam-filled hand pies that come in seven flavors. Optic Cherry, Psionic Strawberry, Electric Blue Raspberry, Beastly Blueberry, Teleporting Blackberry, Angelic Lemon Cream, and Wild Peach.

-Kid Cuisine: Has two meals options. First meal has mac and cheese with Wolverine, optic starburst, furry claw, and fist-shaped noodles, corn, and strawberry-flavored fruit snacks shaped like psionic spheres. The second has Lockheed and wing-shaped chicken nuggets, mac and cheese, corn, and vanilla pudding with a sprinkle packet filled with edible indigo dusting sugar and light blue sprinkles shaped like lightning bolts and icicles.

-Mac and Cheese: Produced by Kraft. Features noodles shaped like Cyclops, Wolverine, Storm, Nightcrawler, Colossus, Psyche, Iceman and Lockheed.

-Kool-Aid: Has nine flavors. Optic Punch, Psionic Strawberry, Beastly Berry Blue, Electric Blue Raspberry Lemonade, Angelic Pineapple, Teleporting Grape, Colossal Lemon Ice, Arctic Green Apple, and Wild Peach Mango.

-Frozen Waffles: Produced by Eggo. Features waffles shaped like X-Men emblems. Comes in three flavors. Xavier's Buttermilk, Psyche's Strawberry, and Beast's Blueberry.

-Pop-Tarts: Comes in three flavors. Psionic Energy (Filled with cherry jam and topped with strawberry frosting), Lightning and Ice (filled with blue raspberry-flavored cream and topped with vanilla frosting and a blue raspberry drizzle), and Light and Dark (filled with blueberry jam and topped with yellow vanilla frosting).

-Popsicles: Features Cyclop's Cherry, Psyche's Watermelon, Storm's Blue Raspberry, Nightcrawler's Blueberry, Iceman's Lime, Wolverine's Orange, and Lockheed's Grape.

-Burger King: Features X-Men themed food items. These include The Colossal Whopper (a Whopper with two flame-grilled beef patties, four slices of American and white Cheddar cheese, four strips of bacon, lettuce, onions, tomatoes, pickles, ketchup and mayonnaise), The Dragon Whopper (a Whopper with one flame-grilled beef patty, two slices of pepper jack cheese, three strips of spicy-seasoned bacon, sliced jalapenos, sauteed onions, lettuce, spicy ketchup and mayonnaise), Angelic Chicken Tenders (wing-shaped chicken tenders), Optic and Wild Shake 'Em Fries (French fries that can be seasoned with a either buffalo or cheese-flavored powder?, Omega-Level Slushes (comes in watermelon, blue raspberry, and white cherry), and Brimstone Berry Pies (blueberry pie slices).

Kenny Omega x Reader where they go to an arcade together?

Street Fighter ( Kenny x Reader ); drabble

Word count: 950

Warnings: none

Notes: I started to write this before the Elite drama started, so little refs of them. Also I didn’t proofread this (I never do), but enjoy!

Lately, it felt like you and Kenny couldn’t get a moment alone. You got to come to shows, but you were always surrounded by The Elite and if you weren’t surrounded by The Elite then you were watching Kenny to these shoots, which was always sort of fun. But it would be more fun to just spend time alone with your boyfriend.

Of course, Kenny knew that. And, of course, he felt bad for not having a lot of time alone to give you all of his attention. Especially when you two had been pulled into another conversation with the Bucks or Hanger — love the guys, but could you just get a minute to Kenny without them butting in?

“You’ll love it, I promise.” Kenny commented as he drove through the streets of a new city you had been brought along to, only to yet again get almost no alone time with your boyfriend.

“Love it more than hearing Matt and Nick bicker over a dumb little Starbucks debate and have you settle it?” He laughed at that, though there was a slight strain to it — embarrassment, maybe guilt, as the night getting go like he was hoping.

“Way more.” But he sounded confident enough and you just had to take his word for it.

The drive wasn’t too far, pulling up to a strip mall of a mix of different shops that didn’t look like they belonged together. A hair salon, next to a small Mexican restaurant that probably could only fit a handful of people, that was next to a record store, but in between all these shops was a slightly bigger unit with a neon red sigh buzzing with the word’s ‘Classic Arcade.’

“So, I know we haven’t had a lot of time to ourselves for the past couple weeks and at shows,” Kenny started, voice slow and unsure, an arm looping around your shoulders as he spoke and you two looked on at the building in front of you. “But I wanted us to have some time tonight and maybe play some arcade games with you, like our first date. If that’s okay, I mean —“

“Of course it’s okay, you idiot.” An affectionate jab from you, one that made him break into a wide smile as he kissed you on the cheek.

“Let’s go then. I cant wait to kick your ass.” He teased, tugging you along inside. It was dark, but it certainly looked nicer on the inside than te out.

The carpet that retro arcade pattern with random pink swirls, green triangles, and orange scribbles. The wallpaper almost matching. Then, of course, filling the area was various machines that made all sorts of noise that it was almost overwhelming.

“So, what are you going to ‘kick my ass at’ first?” You asked Kenny lead you over to a quarter machine, where he slid in a twenty for the coins to begin falling into the cup below.

“Street Fighter.” Instantly, the answer came. No hesitation and you could tell he had been planning this all night.

You knew all those quarters would be going towards Street Fighter, the game Kenny had taught you how to play on your first date, where he wouldn’t leave until you had won at least a round — the night a long one, but one neither of you would forget.

You both walked through two rows of games before spotting Street Fighter, stationed comfortably next to a Mortal Kombat machine. Two quarters were slotted in, and Kenny taking the right side of Player 2, leaving you two to officially begin your night.

Playful jabs at one another skills, some cheating on close rounds, Kenny often nudging you with his hip to throw you off, you throwing a few of your own gentle shoulder tosses his direction to distract him. A night of constant back and forth, laughter mixing with the sounds of the arcade beeps.

From how close you both were, you could feel the vibration of Kenny’s phone, yet it went completely ignored. Right now, the night about the two of you and spending time together. Another call came after that, but once it was ignored, it was silent for the remainder of the night. He would call later, worry about it at the hotel.

For now, he would happily continue laughing with you as you both played, smashing buttons and Kenny acting a little too dramatic when he lost — though you’re sure he threw a few games on purpose.

“Dammit!” Kenny huffed as the final blow was landed, taking his hands off the joystick to find another couple quarters in his pocket to go again. “You know, if I knew you were going to kick my ass, I wouldn’t have suggested Street Fighter.”

“I had a good teacher.” He smiled at that, flashing you this grin as curly hair fell in front of his face, for you to push aside for him. You can see him practically melt from the touch, always a sucker for physical affection. He was quick to shut the distance between you, placing a kiss to your lips as a hand came to rest on your hip.

“Closing up soon!” The lone worker that the two of you had forgotten about called from behind the ticket counter, causing you both to jump slightly. You could see Kenny’s cheeks turning pink, even in the dim lighting of the arcade.

“How about we say you won tonight, but tomorrow night, I’m really going to kick your ass.” Kenny suggested with a wide grin.

“I might embarrass you again.”

“You? Embarrass me? You make me laugh, baby. Let’s get out of here then.”

Hello. I'm Tomoko Hayane! Although the summer heat is still lingering, the number of days when you can feel the signs of autumn is gradually increasing. When you think of autumn in Japan, the most distinctive feature is the scenery of trees dyed in vibrant reds and yellows.

Well, what I'd like to introduce to you today is the character with autumn leaf-like coloring!

This month's wallpaper illustration features...

Yes, it's the strongest combat robot created by Dr. Eggman...E-123 Omega!

Omega has his sharp claws ready, locking onto something...! Could it be that the person he's looking at is his creator and the target of his revenge: Dr. Eggman?

So there's no doubt that he's equipped with even more destructive weapons in his right hand on the other side of the ring. Machine guns, missiles... Omega's arms have been used as many weapons to wreak havoc in the past.

As you all know, Omega wants to defeat Dr. Eggman, who left him alone, and all of his robots, in order to prove that he is the "strongest."

Dr. Eggman's army of robots keeps coming back no matter how many times they are destroyed, but it looks like he's having a lot of fun in the battles where he can really feel at his strongest!

When you think about it that way, the pose in this illustration, which initially looked like "Getting ready for battle!", now looks more like "More please!" after defeating the first wave of the robot army.

"Eggman's robot, take care!"

It somehow feels right, but as a battle-crazy character, he also seems a little cute...! But maybe I'm imagining things too much.

Hola, soy Tomoko Hayane. Aunque el calor del verano aún persiste, poco a poco empezamos a sentir la llegada del otoño. Un aspecto característico del otoño en Japón son, sin duda, los paisajes llenos de árboles teñidos de vibrantes tonos rojos y amarillos.

Pues hoy quiero presentaros a un personaje con una coloración parecida a la de las hojas de otoño.

¿Sabéis de quién estoy hablando?

El personaje que aparece en la ilustración de fondo de pantalla de este mes es…

Así es, el robot de combate más fuerte creado por el Dr. Eggman…

¡E-123 Omega!

Omega, preparando sus afiladas garras, fija algo en su mira. ¿Podría ser que, en la dirección de su mirada, esté su creador y también el objetivo de su venganza, el Dr. Eggman?

De ser así, no hay duda de que en su mano derecha, detrás del anillo, Omega de seguro está equipado con un arma de enorme poder destructivo. Ametralladoras, misiles… Los brazos de Omega se han convertido en muchas armas a lo largo del tiempo, causando estragos por donde ha pasado.

Como bien sabéis, Omega quiere derrotar a todos los robots del Dr. Eggman, quien lo abandonó, y demostrar que él es el más fuerte de todos.

El ejército de robots de Eggman sigue reviviendo una y otra vez, sin fin, aunque, Omega parece disfrutar enormemente de las batallas que le permiten sentir su poder “mas fuerte”

Teniendo en cuenta eso, ahora la pose de esta ilustración, que al principio parecía ser solo de "preparación para la batalla", ahora parece la de alguien que acaba de derrotar la primera oleada del ejército de robots… ¡y pareciera que está pidiendo por más!

Aunque esa frase encaja perfectamente, de alguna manera empiezo a ver muy adorable a este maníaco de la batalla ¿O puede que me esté dejando llevar por mi imaginación?

2. most annoying ship: ahsoka x rex or anakin x rex, i just don’t see them as anything other than like siblings so it freaks me out, also i just can’t see anakin with anyone other than padme because that boy is OBSESSED (sorry if you like these ships they just aren’t my thing)

3. second favourite ship: tech x phee, i’m not even a tech girly but i just absolutely adore their dynamic

4. favourite platonic relationship: AHSOKA AND REX, i love their sibling like relationship sm, a close second is cody and rex they are the besties of the GAR and i love it, also omega and wrecker bc they are adorable

7. one thing i would change in canon: cody being in the kenobi series 😐 (like he was fucking suppose to be!)

8. something canon did right: the entirety of the clone wars, but specifically showing how mistreated clones are and not just brushing it off as “they love war! they were made for it!😃” like how it is in the prequels, i love how the clone wars shows the process of the clones realizing they are more than what they were programmed to do, the whole shifting from clone troopers to storm troopers in tbb is something i also think canon did right because it is so important in the history of the empire, and i love how they are showing a bit of how the clone troopers are helping each other after all these years of just helping their superiors (they are finally fighting for each other!)

9. a thing i'm proud of creating for the fandom PLEASE BRAG ABOUT YOURSELF I WANT TO SEE/READ YOUR ART: my wallpapers! specifically the cowboy mando set i just uploaded :) i’m really proud of how they came out

10. a character who is perfect to me (wouldn't change a thing): rex, cody, jesse, kix, fives, echo, wolffe, hunter, howzer, gregor, mayday, etc…(LITERALLY ANY CLONE, IM NOT KIDDING) but also ahsoka, din djarrin, and chuchi too
