Housewife Headcannons!

• Since you're his housewife, he expects a more "traditional" way of things, such as; dressing up nice for him when he gets home, cooking meals that type of stuff and in return he'll give you everything you could ever ask for (even if he has to kill to get it)

• He never likes to interfere his work life with his home life with you, although you do know when it wasn't too good of a day by the way he comes in the house sometimes. Usually he'll just walk straight to his office and smoke there a bit to try to get the edge off before he can see you.

• He trusts you taking care of his dogs! Usually they're with him but when they're not, he trusts you and his dogs trust you, in fact they have a liking to you!

• He loves coming home to see you! After a long day of loan sharking and trying to get his money from fagin (again), all he wants is to sit down and smoke with you on his lap and simply just wind down.

• Sometimes he comes home from a "job" covered in blood, but its best to never ask him about it (even if you know what its from)

• He always likes getting you gifts and surprising you with little (expensive) things here and there, he'll get you a nice dress and expect you to put it on even if you're doing something at the moment, or sometimes he'll come up from behind and put a necklace on you admiring his little (trophy) wife.

Yeah that's about it for this, I just really like him.

Oliver Twist in NYC AU: Bill Sykes

Full Name: William “Bill” Sykes

Age: Mid to late 40s

Gender: Male

Other names: Mr. Sykes, Mr. Bill Sykes, Sykes

Occupations: Loan Shark, Shipyard agent, Warehouse operator, Boss of Sykes Crime Organization

Residence: Sykes’ Warehouse

Family: Bullseye (pet dog; formerly) Relationships: Nancy (lover; formerly), Roscoe and DeSoto Pinscher (henchmen), Edward “Monks” Leeford (investor and business partner)

Likes: Building models of his car and ships, Nancy (his mistress and sugar baby), obtaining wealth, expensive cars

Dislikes: Not getting his money back, his henchmen’s sign of disloyalty, infanticide/killing children, Edward “Monks” Leeford’s cruelty and psychopathic behaviors

William “Bill” Sykes is a loan shark who operates out of the warehouse by the docks. Boss of Sykes Crime organization, he is a business partner of Edward “Monks” Leeford. As Fagin lived at the barge with the gang, he occasionally owed money from Sykes and most of the time, he struggled to pay back the loan shark. He received a facial scar from Mr. Leeford long ago, as a punishment for getting close to Agnes. Sykes was also the one who put Roscoe in blind date and marriage with Beatrice to cover up his involvement with crime organization to prevent the police from suspecting. Soon, he appointed Roscoe and DeSoto as co-managers of underground orphanage which was originally offered from Edward “Monks” Leeford. At one point—few years ago—he found 22 years old Nancy and took her in as his sugar baby/lover. When he would be working outside New York, he would appoint DeSoto as Nancy’s guard and had Roscoe to collect the debt from others who owed his money. When Roscoe was still attracted to Rita, Sykes didn’t care much as long as girl won’t injure his subordinate.

When one child was reported missing in underground orphanage, the words reached to Sykes. However, he quickly disregards it as he agreed with Roscoe the child could be dead. Days later, when Oliver stayed in Fagin’s barge, Sykes and his men visited to retrieve the debt Fagin owed. Disappointed of Fagin’s failure to pay the entire debt and learned the boy from underground orphanage was in the barge under his wings, Sykes added the interest and gave him 3 months as a time limit. Weeks passed, he received a call from Edward and had to leave New York for a while, leaving DeSoto in charge of guarding Nancy as he was slowly losing interest on her. While working, he was informed weekly by Roscoe that Fagin has been paying parts of debt once a two week until the very day he hadn’t seen Oliver. However, Sykes told Roscoe to leave him be until the deadline. 

At the day when Fagin and Dodger came to pay the remaining money they had for Sykes, he noticed they were 1/3 not enough which prompted him to order Roscoe and DeSoto to attack Fagin as punishment. However, during the event, Edward offered him a proposition. Edward told Sykes to have their account close as he would pay 1/3 of debt in behalf of Fagin with better idea; kidnap Jenny and Oliver for ransom from Foxworth Mansion. Sykes agreed with the plan, but was disturbed when Edward told him to kill Oliver. As they successfully did so, Sykes winced witnessing Edward beating defenseless Oliver in sheer hate and anger. When Edward left, Sykes—in his rare moment of sympathy—asked Nancy to take care of Oliver. However, when he discovered that Nancy informed the locations and evidences to Foxworth’s, Sykes got uncontrollably upset to the point he attacked her with his switchblade, causing her to get injured at the back as she ran from him, but he pushed her downstairs causing her to fatally injured on the head unconscious. Oliver witnessed this and screamed, alerting DeSoto who was close by and saw what happened. In shock and fear, Sykes left instead of helping Nancy, causing DeSoto to lose the remaining loyalty he held. When Fagin and the gang took Oliver and Jenny while informing he had called police, Sykes and his men chased after them. When in a highway, Sykes irrationally drove faster until the brutal accident destroyed his car and fatally wounded him. As Roscoe and DeSoto approached him with unreadable expression, Sykes silently begged them to help him. But instead, they left him to die.

In one of the aftermath stories, it is revealed he had a pet dog named Bullseye. According to veterinarian, Bullseye was mistreated by him and needs better home, otherwise the dog would be euthanized in a dog pound. Feeling sympathy, Oliver asked his family if he can adopt Bullseye. Eventually, Bullseye became a new pet in Foxworth family and has become cheerful and playful.
