I saw you compared Gambit to a cat once. Have you seen the pages of him and his kitties? He has a orange, white and black one I think their names are Figaro, Oliver, and Lucifer

Yesss, I have seen him with his kitties. I have been bouncing around with comics, so I’ve read the issue where Mystique gives him the kitties + their appearances in All New X-Factor. But most importantly, I’ve read all of Marvel Meow. Objectively one of the most important comic book series ever. You must read Marvel Meow or else you aren’t a real comic book fan.

I learned that they’re named after Disney cats. I only recognize Lucifer, since he’s from one of my favorite Disney movies ever, Cinderella. When trying to find Gamboi cat appearances, I noticed some people find it weird that the pelt colors of the kitties don’t match their Disney counterparts. Someone suggested an in-universe solution of Gambit being some sort of colorblind. While I don’t think there needs to be an explanation for Gamboi’s cats to be named what they are, I find that idea very cute.

Hello, thank you very much for the check-in. I also hope your day has been good, and that you’re taking care of yourself. Personally, I’ve been very busy preparing for my upcoming trip, but I’ve been getting my doodles down here and there. It makes me so happy to know that people like my goobers. It helps me try and get over my mental hurdles of finally doing a comic. Here’s a little teaser of what I want to do;

I have been a big fan of comics as a medium the moment I learned how to read. Specifically, comic strips like Calvin and Hobbes (I think my goobers really reflect that Watterson inspires me every time I pick up a pencil… I couldn’t hide it if I tried). I would always draw comics as a kid, and in retrospect, the transition into superhero comics was practically a given. So, let’s hope I finally get something out there. No promises, though. It’s a 50/50.

I hope this idea interests you guys. I’m not sure how posting this comic will work, but I’ll figure it out. I don’t want to make this post too long, so I’ll finish it off by again hoping you’re doing well. Thank you for all your support. Have a good day. Or else.

the son of ares - a title that just today meant something to him. he was angry at his father for so much, hated him - wanted to figure out how to one day come face to face and bring the god to his kneels for all the pain he let him endure, but now after todays mission all he wanted to do was to have his father explain to him how to control this pain, this anger. flashes of just moments ago were taking over his thoughts. going over how things could have ended up if the other demigods weren't able to control alejandro and bring him down to earth from his bloodlust. there was going to be practice and making sure to count of those around him to snap him out of it. there was still that fear in the back of his mind that he would hurt someone -- even more since he knows his role is to protect them all here.

making it back to camp with the other demigods, he felt very much grounded thanks for both remy and oliver by his side. it was a different feeling having both the demigods holding his hand. in the back of his head he felt that he's let them down and that was going to eat at him for a few days. "i -- thanks, but i can take it from here." he told them both, forcing his hand off the two and hugging himself. "you two should celebrate, i'm... i'm going to go... i ... i think i need to be alone to think about what happened tonight and what.. that... unicorn said.. " the voice of the unicorn echoed in his head as he brought back what was told.

"You have a great rage within you, Godling. One that both belongs to you and doesn't."

ale had no idea what that meant, but he was going to figure it out. -- there was going to be a lot of soul searching, but this was what he needed to kick start what he felt like he needed to do. give into the rage, let it consume him like a fire - and that was what he was going to do.

"So... So you want me to just come at you? Um... Okay!" He feels unsure about what is about to go down. The idea of hurting someone isn't something Oliver wants, in fact it's the thing he wants to avoid most of all. But after that night, after having to do what he did he knows that he can't just sit back. That with these new gifts he'll need to defend himself, but more importantly to defend his new family... So today he's choosing to face his demons. Reaching down he takes a calming breathe as a strange feeling takes hold. An itch to cause pain, to do harm, it crawls underneath his skin as he feels something snap into place.

At the edge of his vision he sees hues of pink and green begin to float around him. Small puffs of smoke and vapor as a haze builds up. Then there's another feeling. It feels like something is being pulled back taut. His right hand letting go of the scythe and raising up and points towards Remy. With a flick of his wrist he feels that taut sensation snap free and in a burst of energy a flurry of razor sharp leaves coated in pink mist go rushing towards Remy and slamming into him. At the same time the sheer force of the attack had Oliver sliding back, unused to the burst of power as he stumbles back 20ft.
